The staff is very helpful no matter if you're there for a $2 item or $2,000 item. It's the only place I would consider renting an instrument in this area. It may be the only place to rent an instrument in this area but the prices are fair and the service is great. We are currently renting-to-own a Bass and will be looking for a Viola soon.

Great place to buy or rent-to-own musical instruments. Just got my son a Bach Trumpet today and it was a really fair price for a higher end instrument. Update: I had a unique request for a Jazz mouthpiece for trumpet. They were able to find it, price it, and order in 15 minutes. Still the best for all your music needs!

Conrad's performs an essential service in the area, but their pricing is less than transparent and their attempts to become a Shen dealer have been marginal at best. We tried to order a 3/4 size Shen Bass through them in Feb 2019 and were repeatedly given extended delivery dates. When a lower model bass than requested finally came in, the trade in value for the 1/2 size bass we had purchased from them was suddenly also 1/2 of what we were initially told. There was no estimate for when the model we requested would be available.
