Surprisingly large store with an excellent selection of music. Their record collection is very impressive. Everything is well organized and labeled, so it's easy to find bands you're looking for. Staff was friendly. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Lots of CDs, LPs, and other music and audio/video related merchandise. Big space, love the place. Would recommend if wanting good quality music and a nice clean atmosphere. Great to be able to shop away from malls for physical media and actual talk to people again!! High marks from me.

The high rating of Better Days is justified. Whenever I travel I visit record stores, and out of the 6-8 places I visited in Louisville Better Days had the most vinyl, had the best selection, and was the most organized. The prices are little higher, but so is the quality. You will definitely find some hidden gems here. Large selection of blues, jazz, soul and funk, and of course pop/rock. Definitely saw some DJ promo, 12" single, and other one-off selections here I had never seen before. Will go back.

I always leave this store with a few albums every time I go. I love this record store. They have a wide range of new and used vinyl in all genres of music. This store is absolutely amazing and my favorite record store in Louisville. The guy that owns it and all the workers are super nice and knowledgeable. If you’re visiting from out of town please show this shop some love.

Where do I start? Let's begin with Ben and Randy who are to Louisville's music buying community what John and Paul, Liam and Noel, Lieber and Stiller, etc al were to songwriting. Not only do you get one of the best selections outside of Amoeba and Austin, but you get the kind of musically-passionate personal service that record collectors demand. Worth every minute and every penny.

Love all remaining record stores. I have a big CD collection and always love browsing for more. Some artists 1 CD or none. Stock more CD'S! I am not switching back to records which they have a lot of. CD IS HIGHER QUALITY! Nice new big place with lots of inventory on Barret now!

Sold them a bunch of old records. I could have gotten a whole freaking lot more had I sold them myself but they weren't in great condition and I really didn't want to spend my time doing that. They will require quite a bit of time to get cleaned up and resold.

If you remember Karma records super store on Bardstown Road then you're going to love this place... more than three times the size an absolutely fantastic selection just about anything you could ask for and more!
