I took my Martin 000-28EC to Bill to repair an open top seam, glue the bridge, set up and level and dress the frets. He contacted Martin and they honored the warranty for the seam and the bridge. The work was completed quickly and I couldn't be more pleased. This guitar was given to me by my wife 19 years ago as a 25th anniversary gift and it's great to have it in top shape again.

I took two mandolin family instruments, an octave mandolin and a a-style mandolin to Barneys. They were playable but not in very good shape. When I got them back from Barneys they were way better than ever. It is like having two new instruments. I cannot put them down. He did incredible work lowering the action, setting them up, and tweaking the bridge and the nut. I will definitely take my instruments back in the future.

I talked to Barney about fixing a guitar with a broken bridge plate and bridge and didn't end up fixing it because it was too expensive but he was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that would go into it. I liked the customer service he provided

Bill is Martin and Taylor certified and does excellent work. I took a 50 year old Gibson J-50 to him that had been neglected for at least 20 years and he made it play like new. He made it play BETTER than new.
