I will not be able to define how good these guys are, Neil and Woody. I brought my American Strat Pro II in for a set-up. It was not that old and sounded terrible. They set up the action, adjusted the neck, the intonation, adjusted the pickups and replaced the strings with a badass set that makes my guitar absolutely perfect. When your guitar has a proper set-up you can't put it down. Go to these guys for great and quick service, you will not be disappointed.

I found Neil many years ago when I picked up a Fender Strat and had little familiarity with setting them up. He did such a wonderful job that we began talking custom made instruments. I now own two Smith guitars. One was made to order and the other I bought off the rack because it’s action was absolutely amazing. Since then we have made modifications and/or repairs to those and other instruments in my collection. I couldn’t be more pleased with the craftsmanship and how reasonable his prices are. Neil is my guy for life and I have no need to look elsewhere.

I found Neil Smith many years ago when I had a setup done at a large chain music store in town, and my brand new guitar was unplayable after the setup. Neil has setup 3 of my guitars. The difference in how they played afterwards was amazing. He takes pride in his work and really wants to be sure you are happy with the results. He takes the time to find out what you are looking for. It's obvious Neil is passionate about his work and his attention to detail is awesome. Neil is the only person in LV I would take my guitars to. And Neil and Susi are some of the nicest people I've worked with.

Neil is amazing! Top quality luthier as well as quite a good communicator. Took my two Fender Stratocasters as well as an acoustic electric Martin in to Neil to fix for me. He did a great job on all three. The Martin in particular, had a large crack near the bridge (because we live in the desert) and Neil was able to make it almost disappear. My guitars all play great now and couldn't have done it without Neil.

Neil is a master luthier who resurrected my old Goya Levin (once played by Alice Cooper) back to its former glory with a fret job, binding, new bridge, saddle, nut and bridge plate.
