Every now and then you are fortunate to find a true master of her craft like Teresa Topaz. She sets the bar of excellence very high. She and her talent are truly a work of art. Her attention to detail is meticulous. She makes us 4 chord cowboys feel like rock stars. Her enthusiasm for her profession is infectious. Nobody touches my Martin but Teresa and me. I’m very grateful for her. Simply put: she’s the best. Here’s a pic of my girl Fiona.

She has worked on my acoustic and electric guitars and they sound better than ever before. Teresa is a truly gifted craft person. She repairs and services every instrument like it was her own. Besides that, she teaches you how to properly take care of your instrument to prolong its life and minimize repair costs. I've taken all five of my guitars to her for set ups and repairs and have been totally satisfied. One guitar I labeled as "unplayable." With her skill, she made it playable. I'm truly fortunate to have found her. Don't bother looking around for another guitar repair shop, make an appointment with Teresa. You may have to wait a few weeks, but you'll never regret your decision. Skilled crafts people are busy and are worth the wait.

I was looking for a good guitar tech for a long time when I came across Teresa at Topaz guitars and something told me to give her a try. I just picked up my Les Paul and my SG and Teresa was great!!! A woman's touch and a wealth of guitar knowledge goes a great way. Super sweet person who never lets you feel like you're just another customer. I live in Boulder City and it's 30 miles one way for me. Letentell you she's worth the drive. Don't let a big box store have your guitar. Give it to Teresa and enjoy!! Great experience.

Teresa did a fantastic job of fixing binding separation problems on my Martin acoustic that cropped up after moving to Las Vegas and set the guitar up perfectly for my style/level of playing. She was reasonable, caring, a good communicator and much more than competent. Highly recommended!

I’d been wanting to get this guitar fixed for more than five or so years and just never could get to it. It’s been with me for at least ten though. I found Teresa and she was so very helpful and knowledgeable about her craft and telling me what she could fix and for how much depending on what work was done. Very fair on pricing and even helped me out since the pandemic had me in a bit of a financial bind. Great work and would definitely recommend anyone who needs any work done to go see her. She can do anything from structural repairs (as seen here) to set-ups and electrical. She knows her stuff. Love her!

My first guitar was a 1956 Rickenbacker Combo in 1956 and no Teresa didn't do a repair on it, but if I still had it she would be the first person I'd call. The point is I've been around guitars for a long time, but that Rickenbacker was my first and last electric, until I decided to build my own strat style electric. Once finished I knew I was faced with a huge learn curve in attempting the final setup. That's when I called Heartbreaker Guitars here in Vegas, anyone dealing with that many high end guitars would have a really great guitar tech. That's where I made contact with Teresa. She did the setup which included string height, neck relief (this style body requires the neck to be removed), adjusting the tremolo springs, adjust and setting the bridge (intonation and matching fretboard radius), check and fixing all the electronics. I probably missed a few things and this a more than reasonable. She made this instrument better than it would have been! Thanks Teresa

I have 2 Martin guitars that were in need of repairs. The low humidity in Las Vegas plays havoc with wooden instruments and mine were both suffering the effects. I had struggled finding a qualified repair shop and both we’re getting more unplayable. A google search led me to Teresa Topaz - the only Martin and Taylor certified repair shop in Las Vegas. I am 100% satisfied with the repair and setup work she provided. She brought them back to life!!!

Experience, knowledge and dedication to her craft. Needed a opinion and possible repair on my new Martin, Teresa explained the humidity problems here in Las Vegas and how to correct them. She reset the height, adjusted the neck and my buzzing and dead frets are gone. My next visit Teresa will instruct me on the proper way to string my guitar. If you need guitar repair, this is the Luthier you need!

If you have a guitar in Vegas that needs some attention - YOU MUST TAKE IT TO TERESA. I instantly knew I was leaving my babies in the hands of someone who loved them just as much as I did. Takes time with everyone, no rush. Makes sure you leave with the knowledge of how to do some regular maintenance on your own, gave me a short course on truss rod adjustment. You are not simply a client or customer, but a fellow guitar lover and friend. Knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and all around awesome. Best thing I could have done for my guitars.

Hands down the best guitar repair shop in Las Vegas! Teresa is super friendly, respectful and knows her stuff. So far, I’ve had her work on 6 guitars (2 acoustic, 4 electric) and I’m extremely pleased with the end result. She fixed a guitar with water damage (mold and all) and another one with cracks all over the fretboard. Teresa provided me with updates throughout the entire process and gave me tips on how to keep up the maintenance on my own. I seriously doubt there’s anything this lady can’t fix!
