I've played and loved Larrivee acoustics for many years so when I saw the Baker-T Classic I knew I had to have one. Through a search I found the Diablo Red Metallic at Heartbreaker Guitars. The demonstration video of the instrument was great and past reviews of the shop allowed me to order the guitar with confidence. I was not disappointed. The guitar arrived promptly, in good shape and set up perfectly. Thank you Heartbreaker Guitars.

After a month looking on-line and trying some guitars at two chain stores, I found HBG. I booked 90 mins with Jace, and came in thinking I'd be buying a certain guitar. I hit a curve ball out of the park and got introduced and "married" to a beautiful cedar/padauk/mahogany Furch Yellow G-CP. I didn't see it coming, until I picked it up and heard it. Now I'm in forever love with my sweet guitar and it's amazing sound. I'm playing every day, and brought it back for the included easy setup. If you want a real guitar, step into their showroom.

I just purchased a Bourgeois OMC from Heartbreaker Guitars and the experience was fantastic. I visited the store in early May of 21 while on a trip to Vegas but didn’t find what I was looking for. The staff was great to work with and showed me several models. They even Demo’d a few so that I could sit in front of them and hear what an audience would hear. A few weeks later they had what I wanted in stock and I bought it over the phone without ever putting my hands on it! A little scary given the price, but after spending time in the store I was confident they knew what I wanted so I trusted them. Brendan remained professional and accommodating even after I expressed my disappointment in the guitar I had just received, mostly for aesthetic reasons (is that even a valid reason to ask for a different guitar?). A couple of emails later we agreed on a replacement, and the new one arrived in a timely manner. No attempt to force me to keep the first guitar, just a nice and smooth transaction all along. I'm now super happy with my new instrument :-) Fantastic shop and great owner, highly recommended!

I recently purchased a Furch red pure series cutaway guitar and am very happy with the experience. I ordered on Wednesday morning and received it three days later. It arrived professionally packed and set up. It played like a dream right out of the box! If you're looking for a fine instrument, I would recommend Hearthbreaker Guitars to anyone. They sell some of the best guitars made. Carly and Brendan's customer service was great. I called them both several times with questions about the guitar and they happily answered all of them. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a PRS Paul’s Guitar from Heartbreaker Guitars. I found their pre-sale customer service to be great. Brendan was very knowledgeable and helpful; he worked with me to negotiate a very fair price and work out shipping arrangements. As one might expect when shipping a guitar across country during the winter, I had a fret buzz problem when the guitar arrived. I spoke with Brandon and he immediately told me to take the guitar to my luthier and have a setup done...at his expense! Now, that is customer service. It turned out that my luthier was able to correct the problem very quickly without doing an entire setup and charged me nothing. I highly recommend Heartbreaker Guitars and will be sure to do business with them again!

Folks I have twelve guitars and I gotta tell you I swear by Heartbreaker Guitars!!! I have dealt with Brendan on two guitars now, both Lowden. The first purchase went perfect and I loved the guitar. But the review is really based on my second purchase. Again a Lowden F50 a very high end guitar. Everything dealing with Brendan was great and the guitar was shipped to me. This is where it all went bad, the guitar arrived broken which happened while shipping. Now folks where you really learn about a business is when things go really bad. And this is where I can’t say anything but good about Heartbreaker guitars and Brendan. This guy might be a businessman but he is HONEST and an out right good person!!! When I say he did all he could to make things right which included ordering me another guitar which had to be built. He made sure it was going to be even more special of a guitar then what I ordered!!! I mean how many stores would do that?? Brendan sales class guitars and he is all class himself. At the end of the day all I can say with this unfortunate situation is Thank You!!! It’s just not often in today’s world to find an Honest guy like Brendan. Brendan does things the right way with Heartbreakers!! He takes such pride in making sure his clientele are happy with their dream guitar and really goes above and beyond with every single one of them. Every guitar inspected and is setup before it leaves the shop to make sure everything is perfect for its new home. Most guitar shops miss this step and don't take the time to tell you how to properly humidify and care for the instruments let alone go out of their way to humidify their shop to proper standards. Drove from LA to Vegas just to visit this store and was totally worth the trip. Really enjoyed my experience at Heartbreaker Guitars. They have a very unique selection of high-end guitars. I loved how they planned for my arrival and tailored the floor with guitars I was interested in trying out. Brendan and Karley were very knowledgeable and accommodating and I totally recommend making an appointment to check out their guitars. Visiting from out of town, I wanted to check out the inventory at Heartbreaker Guitars. The entire experience was wonderful. I arranged to meet Brendan at the shop, and he let me try out close to a dozen guitars. He answered all my questions, pointed out the differences between the instruments, and then proceeded to let me play whichever guitars I was interested in (for as long as I wished). I ended up purchasing a Lowden F50 (just fantastic). Brendan installed a pickup, and got the guitar shipped the next day. It arrived the Friday after a Tuesday purchase. Despite making an appointment request on short notice, Brendan was happy to allow me a visit. Their selection was fantastic, but what really blew me away was the care they took for every instrument in their shop. For every guitar I test drove, Brendan was sure to place a cover over the pick guard to eliminate any risk of scratches. 1 review 5.0 star rating 20/3/2017 I knew the guitar I wanted to buy (Taylor T5z) and before visiting Vegas (I live in Ireland) I shopped around online with different guitar dealers in the area to make sure they could supply the guitar, along with a hard-shell case (it ships only with a gig bag). Even from the very initial replies from 4 different dealers, Brendan at Heartbreaker Guitars stood out as being exceptionally helpful, responsive, and detail focused. Once the price was competitive I purchased the guitar & case online and crossed my fingers - hoping that once I arrived in Vegas fro my short stay, that Heartbreaker Guitars actually existed and that my guitar would be waiting for me. I should never have worried about it - the very day I arrived, Brendan hand delivered the beautiful new guitar & case to me at my hotel! Not only that but he very kindly included a leather strap and a fresh, high quality set of strings. It was a really positive experience for me, and I cant recommend Brendan and Heartbreaker Guitars enough.

You know, I’ve bought and sold instruments and been in this industry for close to 30 years. You have no idea how many small business owners say they want to be different. But most are more of the same. Enter Heartbreaker Guitars. High End Guitars. Beautifully displayed in a comfortable environment. Where they are definitely not pushy, but are also not breathing down your neck because you are holding a valuable instrument. I have bought 2 guitars from HBG. The first had a problem that was not their fault, it just happens. Brendan, Carly and the whole staff there could not have been more helpful to make it right. Brendan accommodated my very tight travel schedule. (I was only in Vegas for a day). He made everything work perfectly! The guitars I was insterested in were freshly strung and waiting for me. I made my decision, he got everything together and I was off! I literally can’t recommend them highly enough! They pack incredibly well!! But if you can, make an appointment and visit their shop...I promise you, it’s worth it!

I bought an PRS SE Custom 24 35th Anniversary from Jason online by email. The guitar is awesome. Shipping is fast. The included tremolo bar is very tight so I emailed to Jason, then Jason contacted PRS. It turns out the included tremolo bar might not be the right size. So PRS sent me a different tremolo bar. I truly appreciate great customer support from Jason for this online international purchase.

For those of you who do not like in depth reviews I will just simply tell you that if you are shopping anywhere other than Heartbreaker Guitars for your next instrument, you are doing it WRONG! Do yourself a favor, give them a call and make an appointment or order off their website with 100% confidence. For the rest of you, read-on to find out all the reasons why I was inspired to write this review for a shop that gained a lifetime, loyal customer after literally one visit. My wife and I visit Las Vegas several times a year. On our most recent trip I decided to get out to a few guitar stores to hold a PRS electric I have had my eyes on for awhile but have not been able to get my hands on locally. As I was thumbing through my search results the name Heartbreaker Guitars caught my eye. As I checked out their website, I realized this was not your every day, “ordinary”, guitar store. To be honest my first thought was “this is out of my price range, I can not afford a place where I need to make an appointment, what if I decide not to buy something, does it cost extra?” Since you are probably thinking some of the same things I was, I will answer those quickly and get them out of the way for you. *This is out of my price range – No, it is not. HBG had the exact model I was looking for and could not find anywhere else. They not only had it in stock, but they had 4 to choose from. It is not a custom or super high-end model by any means. HBG’s price on the guitar was the same exact price I would have paid online, in a chain store or anywhere else. *I can not afford a place where I need to make an appointment – it does not cost anything extra, at all, seriously. Thinking about it now, I would have gladly paid extra for the experience. *What if I decide not to make a purchase? – Even if you do not pull the trigger on a new guitar you will get to see what a guitar store should be, and I assure you that it will not be your last trip. Plus, everyone there is a guitar player and guitar players love to talk guitars. Every guitar in the shop is pristine, not picked over, scratched, or dented. You get to hold and play the instrument you are going to buy, not a “display” model. It will be set-up PROPERLY (this, by itself, is worth the experience!) Every time I was done with a guitar it was sanitized, wiped down and put away carefully back on its own stand. If you are worried about guitar shopping during the Covid era this is about as safe as you can be, in my opinion. As I said before, this was my first time visiting HBG and my first time meeting Brendan, the owner. I doubt I will ever buy from anywhere else. I had him ship my guitar so I would not have to haul it home on the plane. It shipped the same day I visited the shop and arrived very well packaged and in pristine condition. You are not going to find any Fender Squires here, which I own 2 of and love, but what you will find is quality, well cared for instruments, sold by musicians who care about putting the right, lifetime instrument in your hands, not getting the most money possible from you. Brendan even brought over a guitar he thought I might like more, it was priced well below the one I ended up purchasing. The one bad point to HBG is that once you experience guitar shopping their way you will not want to even consider doing it the old way. While I was visiting the shop I looked at an acoustic guitar, after returning home I just could not get it off my mind. I shot Brendan an email…as you might guess, I paid for it this morning and I already have the shipping info in my email. If I went on about that experience and the great deal I got you would probably think I was lying at this point. If you are anywhere near the Las Vegas area, give Brendan and the folks at HBG a call and make an appointment. If you are not local and you order from them, it will ship fast and arrive well packaged. You will not find better customer service anywhere in the business. They have a repair tech on staff so it is a full service shop even after the sale.

This is by far one of the most profesional guitar stores out there. I have been in contact with Brendan, he is extremely knowledgeable and always takes his time for me, he makes you feel welcome. I live in Switzerland and most of our contact have been via email or telephone, whenever I write to Brendan I always get a reply from him immediately answering my questions in a very detailed manner. I have now bought 5 guitars from Brendan and the crew at Heartbreaker..... Specifically 2 Lowdens and 3 Santa Cruz guitars. I can only say that if you search for honest and dedicated people who have a great inventory and knowledge of some of the best guitars on the market.....search no further. They also spend quite a bit of time and energy creating You Tube demos of most of their guitars. This is unusual in my experience, but is also invaluable for getting a feel for what a guitar can sound and look like. These guys just go the extra nine yards as part of their regular routine. Their pricing is not bad as well but don't tell Brendan that ! I currently am waiting on a special order Santa Cruz OM but we just have to get through this damn Covid 19 thing first. I had read so many positive reviews that when I was recently in Las Vegas, I decided to visit the shop - but hadn't realized visits were by appointment only. I was lucky, though - Brendan happened to be in and welcomed me in. When I walked into the acoustic showroom, I understood why visits were by appointment. I was treated to a roomful of absolutely top-end instruments: MacPhersons, Taylors, Huss & Daltons, Furches, to name a few - good reasons for limiting visits to an appointment-only basis. You only want people who know what they're doing handling those beautiful, high quality guitars. What was particularly appealing about the selection was that it didn't try to cover as many brands as possible, but rather offer a good range of models from a select group of brands. Brendan started off as a musician and so brings a guitarist's perspective and insight into a discussion about each instrument. On top of that, he is very knowledgeable and engaging and provided great insights into the distinctive sound, construction, and history of the various instruments. Better still, he allowed me to try out the instruments at my leisure with no sales pitches, in fact, he would step out of the room and come back in only when I had questions. I was interested to find out that most of his business comes from online sales. Clearly, Brendan has built such a strong reputation that clients are prepared to purchase valuable instruments without first playing them. On my out I stepped into the room where the electrics were on display. I was most struck by the number of Rick Turner guitars - I've never seen such a large selection of Model 1's in any shop I've ever visited. If you are looking for that special high-end guitar, this is the place to find it - a wonderful range of models, knowledgeable support from Brendan, and the perfect environment in which to carefully make your selection.

This is such an awesome guitar shop, with a very unique selection of boutique acoustic and electric builds. I showed up unannounced, unaware the store handled showings by appointment, but the Owner Brendan couldnmt have been nicer or more accomodating. He was more than happy to let me come in and have a look, and spent time showing me some amazingly well crafted instruments that I was able to play. We had a great discussion and the next time I'm back in town and in the market for a new axe, I will definitely Brendan a call. In fact, after my great experience, I'm more than comfortable placing an order by phone or over the internet. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, it will blow you away if you are only used to the Big Box music stores, entirely different inventory of instruments that will amaze you.

Love this store I must of seen 15 Turner Model 1s! I went into the back where the amps were and they had this amazing stage dubbed "The heartbreaker lounge" they had Bogners and Matchless amps... I was in heaven I didn't want to leave! After that I went out and played a few Taylor's. I ended up buying a GS Mini for my camping trips. What an experience. Brendan was incredibly accomidating. One of the nicest guys ever. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Can't wait for my next trip.

The shop was small but gorgeous. Some of the nicest selection of custom guitars i've ever seen. I went with my girlfriend and Brandon was so cool. He took his time with us and was low pressure. When i told him I couldn't get a guitar til i got my bonus, he didn't act disappointed or bothered at all. Very gracious and friendly. I recently started learning to play the guitar, and after a couple of months sounding really bad on an old electric guitar, my wife told me to go buy a real guitar. After doing a whole bunch of research on what to buy and where to buy it, I found this wonderful gem of a store. At first, I was a bit put off by the whole "open by appointment only", but after reading the reviews here, I decided to email Brendan to inquire about stopping in. And I was definitely not disappointed! These guys are, in a single word, wonderful. Brendan answered all my questions via email, and after setting the appointment, went above and beyond while listening to my story and why I was there. He let me try pretty much every guitar on the wall that I wanted - and let me tell you that there are some guitars that I won't ever be good enough or qualified enough to play hanging on the wall! - while helping me understand what it was I truly needed for my skill level and budget. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I walked out of HBG with an instrument that not only feels and sounds right, but is inspiring me to continue learning and playing. I truly am waiting for the day that my wife tells me to go buy another guitar just so I can go back and get another one!

You know that expression, do as I say not as I do? Well, the choice is yours. I went to guitar center 'multiple times' and not a single sales person asked me a single question. Not only that, their selection was horrible, not one guitar I was interested in. I called Sam Ash, not one guitar I was interested in. I was always told "we would have to order that particular one for you". Why would anyone want a guitar ordered for them without ever physically seeing and more importantly playing it???!!!??? So I did internet searches for the guitars I was particularly interested in, compared prices and then called to hear yet again,,,, not in stock, or no one caring to ask me what I really wanted. I did YouTube reviews on the ones I narrowed my search on, and come to find out Heartbreaker Guitars had videos on my list and low and behold,,,, they had them in stock!!! So I called and Brendon picked up the phone and we had a conversation. Conversation let to an appointment. HBG/Brendon had all 3 ready for my review. That impressed me, then I was impressed with the selection of so many beautiful, quality guitars. He offered beverages to enjoy while discussing the various options I reserved as well as the others I noticed and inquired about. In the end, this was the best experience and the greatest value I received from all other stores I visited or called. There is no reason to go anywhere else. You know that expression, do as I say not as I do? Well, the choice is yours.

Honestly, the best shop I have ever shopped at. I own quite the collection from Gibson to Taylor, PRS to Godin which means I have dealt with many different retailers. Heartbreaker Guitars gave me a different experience. From their prompt email responses, their knowledge of HIGH quality guitars from acoustic to electric, to the way they look after their customers, I now found my new favorite guitar shop. Know matter how many questions I asked, going back and forth between different guitars, they always held the upmost quality in customer care. Keep it up Brendan! Visiting Heartbreaker guitars was the highlight of our time in LV. My boyfriend (who is a full-time luthier visiting from Ireland) and I made an appointment with Brendan, and our time with him far exceeded our expectations. Not only was Brendan incredibly gracious and generous with his time, but it's obvious that he is passionate about every single instrument he stocks and that he has strong relationships with some of the world's best guitar makers. Every instrument in his showroom is unique, difficult to find elsewhere, and represents the best of it's class. I would strongly recommend Heartbreaker to anyone that is serious about owning a world-class guitar.
