This guy is great! Definitely will only deal with him from now on. He did an upgrade on my Ltd EC500 and it is like a brand new guitar. I fell in love with it all over again! Definitely give him a call if you have upgrades or repairs or even a set up needed it's worth it. Thanks Alan!

Alan took great care of both my basses (Dean and Musicman). He is very knowledgeable and even came in to work on his own birthday. It’s easy for him since he loves his line of work. The location is very secure so I don’t worry about my gear getting stolen while I’m apart from it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tech.

This guy is great, I came to him asking him to build a warmoth stratocaster. Not only did he build it for me but he recommended ways for me to make the build even better in a very patient and respectful manner. I've done 3 warmoth builds in the past but this guy has been the best guitar tech I've used. Update. I had him do a Warmoth Jazz Body build for me and once again Alan did a great job! If you need any builds or modifications, definitely recommend this guy. I'd suggest calling him about the build so he can assist you before you even buy anything, for both builds he made recommendations that made the instruments better & made me aware of things I hadn't even considered.

I want to thank Alan for helping me out with choosing the right neck for my Guitar. He replaced the neck on my strat , also did the best set up on the guitar. I also want to thank Jack for an amazing Tube Maintenance/Change on my amplifier.

Was alright. Was told my headstock couldn't be fixed because the type of break it was. So I went home with my tail tucked between my legs. Then I went and bought some glue and fixed it! Stained the neck also. Thank you Alan for inspiring me to do it on my own. It came out great!

AMD guitar works is amazing! Alan and Jack are just great people. Alan knows his business very well, he’s on another level. I had AMD install some pickups in one of my guitars and a new nut in another and the work is just beyond professional. His setups are incredible, my guitars play and sound great. I’d give AMD 6 stars but its not an option. Thank you AMD, you guys rock! I’m very pleased with the service I received.

Had a great time at AMD. Allen is one of if not the best guitar luthier in town. He was able to take a quick look at my guitar, diagnos what was wrong and come up with a game plan on how to fix it. I will definitely be back for more repairs when needed.
