I visit this Karma at least once a month, and I don't recall ever leaving without buying at least one album. The selection of new vinyl is very good, and the used inventory usually has a hidden gem or two. The staff is awesome, always very friendly and helpful. Support indy record stores!

I love going to Karma, it brings back warm, fuzzy memories of my youth... The smell of incense and candles, the sight of (past&present) rock stars/concert t-shirts and posters hanging from the ceiling to the floor, and all the cool stuff in between. Oh and let's not forget about the vinyl album collection (and CD's) that is available to browse through, all while listening to your favorite music playing throughout the store.

I'm so happy I walked into Karma today. I was looking for 2 old Christmas CDs for gifts. I didn't find them and started to walk out. A very friendly, knowledgeable staff member stopped me asked if he could help. I told him what I wanted and he was able to burn new CDs, including the cover art and lyrics included in the case. All for a reasonable price and in about 5 minutes. Thank you!

Pretty solid variety of albums with a nice vintage atmosphere that feels like a classic record store. Their discount section even had some great finds in a great condition! I love the feeling it gives of taking me back to the 70s 80s and 90s with the vinyl records. Now my daughter lives in there collecting records. I would have given 5 stars if they would have SPOKEN to me as I entered or LEFT the store. If I can't get a head nod or a smirk or smile when I enter your place of business, I won't support it, I don't care how great the place is. Bad/rude customer service is a Solid No for me! Hope someone else has a better experience. Maybe the entire store was just having a bad day...idk

When you can buy great quality new or used cars Karma is the place to go . I am 65 years old and the music from my childhood can't always be found however Karma has a machine that is licensed to burn CD's. A lot of people might hesitate to enter the store because of influence from the 70's and 80's in scents but let me tell you, all that music, I could move in there happily!!!

I'm a weekly customer at the Washington and Post store and every single time I leave I have vinyl, cassettes, and other merchandise in hand. Having friendly, helpful, and all around great staff is what keeps this place going and me coming back for more. Great prices and new selections weekly. All in all, I LOVE THE PLACE! Glad to see Karma is pretty much the same as it used to be. Glad it's still there and other customers have kept doing business there. I don't think I had been to Karma for maybe 15-20 years. So heartwarming. Good music is Good for the Soul. CD's. Vinyl. God listens to Vinyl. Only. Mostly Elvis 45's. And Pink Floyd. I bought a fair amount of stuff since I hadn't bought any new (or old) music in years. Karma had lot of really good "collector" type LPs of good to great artists and bands. Not cheap. But very good music of a lot of styles. BTW, quit saying "genre." It's a "style," "type" or a "kind" or a "category" or a "sort" of music." Not a "genre." To all the customers, employees, managers, suppliers, concert promoters and advertisers who have kept Karma going while I have been far afield, I say "Thank You" for keeping Karma going, so I could go back there and have a field day today. It was fun and a great experience. Even bought some Gonesh incense #6 and #8. Mighty sweet.

Great selection of new and used records, plus a wide assortment of other gems! I always come for the records, but there's something for everyone here. The records are fairly priced. I've found a lot of RSD exclusives and other limited releases here, even months after they first came out. The staff has always been polite and friendly to me. Always a good experience. Staff is super helpful and really nice. They aren't pushy on buying products. This is the record store that is the best in Indy hands down for music. It is well organized leaning towards rock and roll. One of the best record store day selections anywhere. Had all 5 of my choices and I came in 3 hours after opening. Don't waste your time with the other shops in town, come here first. This store, Karma East has more vinyl than the other 2 Karmas combined. They also blow away Indy CD & Vinyl and Luna.

Big selection of vinyl but very little if not zero selection of vinyl dedicated to any EDM genre which is confusing and on the verge of elitist discrimination against that form of music which seems counter productive to a record Shop. Great selection of currated Funko Pops : all genres but focus on Pop: Rock , Albums, Horror, Star Wars, Movies...basically the alternative to what box stores carry. I'm always impressed with their pop stock

I love the record store hippy vibe..I had someone actually come out and ask me if I needed help finding anything which is rare at a place like this..found some tool albums I want and will be back for.. Lots of smoking accessories for tobacco of course. They had a small selection of band shirts for sale...I wish they had some tool ones...they did have a perfect circle but not my size.. I saw another employee assist an older lady with a CD she was looking for and he was assisting her the whole time I was there (15-20 mins) If you want to find a record or even a CD or tobacco products with some laid back service check this place out. Also I saw a kid walk out with his mom next door at the sex shop...thought that was weird.

Best community record store in Indy. I pray that this Karma records never ever goes away. I have been coming here since a kid which is well over 20 years ago. Not one time have I ever been disappointed. I miss Ticketmaster being in there. In this is really to me the only real record store or one of the only real record stores left in Indianapolis Indiana. I'm glad that they have a few other locations to on other sides of town. Just went there today and bought a new rap album and I love it. Also bought a few snacks and a candle that you eliminates smoke odors and its called "I'M SICK OF YOUR S**T"...it smells wonderful lol. Thanks Karma!!!
