I am a student in college, and having played 3 Polaris’s now, they are beautiful clarinets. The sound and quality of these horns are amazing, on top of that the setup of the instrument before I received it was phenomenal. Such a pure resonant sound, and easily playable instrument with great tone in all registers I highly recommend Corbin Clarinet Products, not only did they allow me to trial 3 amazing clarinets before I made my purchase, but they were helpful the entire time, and even went above and beyond by giving me more then I asked for, and welcoming me into their family after my trial.

I ordered a peg for my contralto clarinet and it was the wrong item. I was directed to return the peg. After a conversation with Brian, he noted that the peg I want for this clarinet may not be strong enough to support its weight and if it broke, I may damage the clarinet. He offered a full refund without question. Unfortunately, Brian didn’t have a product for my clarinet. Despite this, the experience working with Brian was professional, courteous, and satisfactory. Based on those experiences, I would welcome an opportunity to do business with Corbin Clarinet Products again. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I met Brian at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in December and was drawn to his display by the variety of clarinet barrel options he had for trial onsite. My first visit to his booth early in the clinic was simply a "perusal" visit--I hadn't brought my instrument this year, and wanted to try any potential barrels on my Tosca... On Friday, I returned to the booth and spoke with Brian again, asking if I could possibly take some of the barrels home, try them for a couple of weeks and make a selection if any of them were a good fit. He took the time to play 5-6 different barrels on his personal instrument, giving me the opportunity to hear the subtle differences each of the designs made in his sound...then worked an arrangement for me to take my top three choices home with me, taking payment for the least expensive option as a deposit. Long story short, I chose one of Corbin's grenadilla adjustable barrels, although the other two were very, very good as well. Brian worked out the re-invoicing to allow me to cover the cost of this more-expensive option (I completed the payment online--super easy) and I returned the two remaining barrels via UPS the same day. Now that I know Brian, the obvious quality of the items he represents, and the wonderful "customer service" I received, I know I'll be looking to him for other items in the future for myself or my clarinet students and colleagues. I also discovered that my "go-to" clarinet guy in Louisville KY (Clarinets by Copeland) is one of Brian's Royal Global clarinet dealers! Small world...

What a great experience. I’d been having some issues with my setup, specifically with differences in resistance between my Bb and A. Brian was nice enough to have a 30 minute conversation with me where he listened to what I was trying to fix and gave great insight into how to move forward. Fast forward 3 days and Im sitting with a box of barrels from his Traditional line a d Polaris adjustable barrel line, which he reams to differing specifications than a stock Royal Global Polaris barrel. The barrels were all extremely well crafted and the quality of the wood is superb. After play testing all of them, I knew almost instantly that a Polaris adjustable barrel was right for me. Tomorrow, I’ll be sending the others back, which Brian has made extremely easy with return postage paid in advance. Overall it’s been a joy to work with Brian and I’m excited about the evolution of my setup with a Brian Corbin bore Royal Global Polaris barrel.

I've had a wonderful experience with Brian! I've recently bought a Buffet Festival Bb clarinet and this clarinet is so amazing that it made me wonder if the two other Bb clarinets I have (an RC and a R13) were simply not good or never truly well ajusted because I have never played with an instrument that made things so easy for me!
