Came in with a 50+ year old coronet that needed repairing and a new case. The staff was great in fixing the issues and finding a suitable case. If you need instruments for a child in school or if you are still playing, I highly recommend these folks.

Rieman's is one of the best music shops in the Des Moines area that carries various instruments in multiple price ranges, accessories, sheet music, and all kinds of neat little music related gadgets. The shop also offers private lessons, practice rooms, and repair services. I have been shopping here for all of my music supplies since I began playing the violin in 4th grade and I have never been disappointed! (That's saying a lot, as it's been QUITE a long time since I've been in grade school!) The employees are amazingly friendly and incredibly knowledgeable on their available instruments, services, and everything in between! I would highly recommend them!

I'm very satisfied with the instrument they fixed for me. Very professional Yamaha corporation crew, that made everything great. Despite the circumstance that there is no software for my instrument Yamaha MODX, and it got expired, I would like to change that software. I dont know if I'll do anyway, if it was discontinued. I really admire those people that do professional job. I wish for you, to expand the store with varieties of Yamaha professional products. Had a stripped tuner gear that I brought in, figured I would be walking out with a new set of tuners. The guys took it over to their workbench and started looking through various old parts and were able to find a matching gear to replace my stripped one. Asked how much I owed and they told me not to worry about it. Great service, will definitely come back for any of my other music needs!

I bought a nice Yamaha keyboard here in December 2019. It suddenly stopped producing sound recently and I was bummed because it was still practically new. Steve Rorebeck was more than helpful in getting the situation resolved, as was another associate whose name I didn't catch. I was very impressed with how helpful they were. Many stores these days don't care once you're out the door. Not these guys! Thank you!!

I stopped in to the Urbandale store to ask about a repair to my tuba. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They asked how long I could wait. I ran another quick errand and the repair was completed in less than an hour. It saved me an additional round trip, and I live over an hour away. I'm delighted with the service. Rieman Music fixed my Marshall tube amplifier when I could not find a repair shop in Iowa. My amp was still under the manufacturer's warranty and Rieman fixed better than new. Huge shout out to Joe Kouri!

This place is great :-) I just got back a synthesizer that they fixed for me. (BIG SHOUT OUT TO JOE "the tech guy" ... I could go on and on about how this guy ...) FANTASTIC service. And, if you have questions about DAW/Midi, etc Mark Duffy IS THE MAN!!! The store has everything from the usual guitar/keyboard things to orchestra instruments. I am glad I found this store.

AWESOME music center. I got my saxophone here, they were able to set me up with a rent to own program to get it. They also offered insurance for my instrument which came in handy at least 3 times. If I never needed any music equipment I knew where to come because they always had it here and were always willing to help find what you were looking for.

These people are the best. I had an issue with the digital piano I had purchased from Reiman Music. They could have easily insisted I go through the long and arduous process of working with the manufacturer to get it repaired. Instead they stepped up and simply exchanged my broken piano with a new one (same model, of course). I really appreciate how they wanted to make sure my family had a good experience. We'll be using Reiman for all our future music needs.

I had 2 goals for my visit today one where I knew exactly what I needed (exchange a leased violin for a larger one) and one where I had no idea (get some accessory for a ukuklele) I was able to get in and out in less than 20 minutes and that included a detailed discussion about future purchase options on the violin and getting the correct sizing on the uke. All the staff was knowledgeable and helpful even when I didnt know exactly what I needed. There was no pressure to purchase anything, no condescension, and I got exactly what I needed. Highly recommend.
