The 5 star reviews are real. Probably the best guitar shop in Denver. It feels like they have every single pedal you have ever heard of... I mean if there is a brand, they have like every single pedal that the brand offers in a line. It's incredible. The workers are kind, and the guitars are accessible (unlike the certain store that shall not be named). Bless this place

I brought in my 30 year old Hohner strat (my first guitar!) which needed tons of work and these guys treated me like a Rockstar. Sam the tech guru brought my baby back to life and now it plays better than it ever did before. They treated my semi-worthless -in terms of trade-in but priceless-to-me guitar like a 6 digit $ vintage Fender and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Friendly staff, plenty of selection for all your guitar needs and I can't praise Sam's work any higher. All the stars.

Purchased a used guitar from them online. The posted a ton of HD pics....every angle imaginable. Purchase went smoothly, was shipped out quickly. When I received the guitar, I noticed that it looked better than it did in the photos.....and it played GREAT. When asked if they did anything with the guitar before shipping, I was told they set up all their guitars before sending them out the door, and he even buffed it without me asking. Also, it was packaged better than 99% of brand new guitars. Buying from Flipside was the most pleasurable retail experience I've had in a long, long time. Now I'm a customer for life.

This place is awesome! I have been twice to trade in and get new gear. I traded in a guitar for credit towards a new silver Player Series Strat today and I couldn't be happier! Dylan at the counter was very helpful and kind, he also answered questions I had about swapping pickups at a later date on one of my other guitars. The best place to buy and trade in gear around. I will be back! Support local music!

These guys are awesome - way better than lining the pockets of the finance bros at Ares Capital who own Guitar Center. Ike and his team have the goods - including the best pedal selection in Denver.

I just wanted to echo a lot of positive sentiment I see in the comments here. I don't generally leave reviews for places, but Flipside Music I believe deserves an exceptional mention.
In particular, their pedal selection is the best on the front range that I'm aware of. From your classic Boss stomp boxes, (and the Waza varients) up to major boutique pedals from small manufacturers. You'll find serious pedal gear here well priced, and get to try it out on a selection of amps and guitars. It's awesome. I saw an original Mutron and a hand-wired TS-808 today for sale, too cool. Also, I appreciate they keep their inventory up to date online. Expect it to be accurate if they say they are in or out of stock of something. They also keep popular items regularly restocked, I appreciate that.
I also have never left without just having a pleasant conversation with someone. Today I spoke with Jake, a customer service rep here for a while about various drive tones and slapback delays and like always, someone is down to talk shop and loves guitar tones. They won't steer you wrong, and are great folks.

I can’t say enough about my experience at this shop! I knew I wanted a Squier Classic Vibe, they had just received one but it wasn’t setup yet ( I think still in the box) but I told them over the phone I’d come by to take a look at it later that day. When I arrived Dylan I think his name was gave the guitar a once over and damn it felt great! He even polished the frets a bit. The whole staff was awesome it made the purchase feel even better. I even traded in my lower end Affinity Strat and they gave me a reasonable trade in on it. The environment is fantastic and all the staff. I brought my guitar back in today to have their guitar wizard Sam give it a complete setup just to see how awesome this guitar can be. That guy knows his stuff and he was just cool to chat with about music in general. My inexpensive Squier plays like a true fender Strat *to me* and I’ll be back when I finally get myself that true Fender Strat and new Amp… one day.
Best neighborhood music store. Can you tell I enjoyed my visit?

The best of the best! Stunning guitars, with a very clean showroom (and warehouse). The staff is friendly, accommodating and kind. I highly recommend this place to any guitarist or bassist. They also leave you alone to test guitars and the space is cozy. The location is a little off the beaten path (google it) but easy to get to via 0 bus or car. If you need an axe this is absolutely the place to go. They know guitars.
