I've been doing some work at this studio for the past 10 weeks. Great location. Great studio and they have everything you need. Joey is easy to work with and makes sure you leave with what you intended. Highly recommend.

I have recorded numerous records at this facility. I have worked in studios from NE OHIO to LA TO Nashville and everywhere in between. The staff, which I still work with whenever possible, are not only Extremely capable but also genuine and good human beings. Joey is as talented and good natured a gent as you could hope to meet. Drew is without question the best engineer I have ever worked with. They have a great array of mics, a solid live room and good isolation booths. They also have a number of pianos to suit any music I was working on at the time from jazz to folk and from modern rock to classical. Good people. Good rates. Good times. I will be recording there in April and May of this year and am sure it will yield the results I am looking for.

Oranjudio is a wonderful recording studio nestled in the middle of Grandview. This was our band's first experience recording of any kind and Brandon made it such a welcoming and fun atmosphere. I told my wife after our first day of recording that "It was more like we were recording with a friend". Highly recommend any band in the Columbus area to record at Oranjudio. Rates are reasonable and the staff is great to work with. We will be recording here again.

Every engineer I have worked with out of Oranjudio has been awesome. Knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The studio has a wide selection of top notch, well maintained equipment for just about any kind of project you have. The large live room with tall ceilings has a very nice ambience, a couple of isolation booths if you want a nice clean sound on your vocals or guitar amps. Did I mention there is a second studio room? Whatever your genre of music, if you are doing post production for video or even sound effects I'd feel confident taking it here. Very comfortable, relaxed environment, but very focused and driven. Big Thumbs UP!

After being a recording artist for almost 18 years and a filmmaker for over 9, I found Oranjudio Recording. After much recommendation and finding the right project, my team decided we would record the ADR for our short film here. I now trust no other studio for anything concerning recording. Joey is one of the smartest engineers I have ever worked with. He treats every project as if it's the biggest thing he has worked on. His suggestions are always well thought out and intelligent. My band will not record anywhere else, my films will not be scored anywhere else, even my label-mates agree he is the only person to trust. They have more equipment than I would ever need with a team of people who posses the knowledge and ear. The pictures on on the web don't even do it justice. Oh, and BTW they have reel-to-reel recording capabilities too, something that holds a special place in my heart. So if you are wondering where you should record, trust no one else.

This is where the magic happens. Joey Gurwin is a very talented Sound Engineer and Producer. The studio is laid back but fitted with the equipment you would expect from a top tier studio. My band recorded somewhere else befiore going to Oranjudio because that price was right. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for. We weren't happy with the way the songs turned out, so we took the raw tracks to Joey. I've been recording many years and Joey is the best engineer I've ever worked with. If your starting a new project or need an old one fixed, please giver this guy a shot.

Love this studio and recommend it highly to anyone needing to lay down some tracks. Joey knows what he's doing and is great at coaxing the best out of your performance. We did ADR for a film at this studio and I was so impressed with how smooth things went. I love that when you book your time, that time is all about you. No side work going on whatsoever the staff's focus was all about getting it done right. Definitely got good juju from Oranjudio!

There are many good recording studios in Columbus, and, unquestionably, Oranjudio is among the top. The live room is spacious and easy to work in, and there are multiple iso rooms for vocals, etc. I’m no expert on recording gear—other people here can talk to that—but I couldn’t have been happier with the sound of our recording, and in the end that’s what matters most. But by far, their greatest asset in my opinion is Joey Gurwin. He knows his stuff. He’s got a terrific ear, an amazing work ethic, he’s fun to work with, and he knows how to “plus” a song to make it better. Any studio would be lucky to have him, and Oranjudio is better because of him.

Not sure of how someone could write a bad review about this studio. It is one of the top studios in town and I have personally watched Joey (the owner) work and heard his sounds and they are incredible. Check out the werks new album if you want to hear something incredible. They have state of the art technology and equipment and are able to handle projects of any size. My name is Sharon and I am an accomplished keyboardist. I have recorded here a few times: a few times with a man named Joey Gurwin, and a few times with a man named Eric Cronstein, for several different regional bands.For musicians, the recording studio can be a tense environment, one that really brings out any underlying musical issues as all are brought to light. That tension is only heightened by the fact that time is money. Here at Oranjudio a few things are happening: you have incredibly knowledgable and warm engineers who are well-rounded in their musical stylings and skill, you have a clean and accessible space, and you have top-notch equipment to capture your desired sound clearly and expressively. On top of all that, it's conveniently located and cheap. I highly recommend this place.
