Best of all magnificent experience to nostalgia experience fun. To pops cd vinyl records DVD’s shirt’s posters action figures etc!! Great customer service the owner will look up something they don’t have in stock and see if they can order it if available. Also trade in sells stuff. You won’t regret it

I've always enjoyed myself when visiting the store. I was looking for a hard-to-find recent publication and the staff tried calling around to accommodate my request. They work to know their regulars by name and know their interests to make recommendations. The store will also try to hold fun release and holiday events. It has been my go-to comic shop from my time living here.

This has to be the best record store that I've been to since the 80s! There's nothing this place doesn't have. I felt like a kid in the 80s all over again! Very nostalgic. I highly recommend visiting this store for any of your music, movies, video games, electronics and more. This place has EVERYTHING!

Datgum there were so many vinyls new, used, expensive, and cheap. Meaning lots of variety same with their comics and other toys around. This place is a wonderland just to browse and check out they can have my business any day, plus the dudes working there are chill talked to 3 of them for like 30 minuets. Chill place chill dudes.

My favorite comic shop hands down. Look this place isn't just a comic shop but a keeper of all things music movies and games. No matter what you are looking for Eric either has it or can find it. They also take in comics, graphic novels, CDs, cassettes blu-rays, DVDs collectibles and all manner of video games. You cannot go wrong here. Swear to you they have stuff you have never seen. These pics were from free comic book day and it was packed. The store had an awesome sale and they always have comic themed events and midnight sales. Awesome shop along with Cosmic Ray's and Heroes and Dragon you can't go wrong with these shops!!

Very cool stuff. So much old-school cool it'll leave you jaw-dropped. Largest laserdisc selection in 100 miles or I'm a monkey's uncle. DVDs, CDs, Albums (45, 33 and a 1/3, AND the 78 (?) rpm varieties), comics, collectibles. Locally owned, which is always better.

This particular store far surpassed the two other comic book stores that I went to in the Columbia area. They have a great selection of current & modern comics as well as a excellent amount of back issues to choose from. I even found a CD that I have been wanting for a long time that I couldn't find elsewhere. Kudos to these people for such a wonderful store. It was well worth my trip. Two thumbs way up!

This store is the place to go for collectors, comic fans and music lovers. The clerk (possibly the owner) was beyond helpful, helping me find my way around the store, and helping me get started with reading Star Wars comics for the first time. He has a plethora of action figures and funco pop figures, both new and older rare ones. You can tell he is very proud of his store, as he should be, and is extremely wise in the ways of both the Force (lol) and nerd culture.

Great selection! Cassettes, CDs, records all in abundance. Along with an eclectic mix of games, toys, comic books, videos, and more. I would not shop here for music over Papa Jazz because their prices are what I would consider to be too high to justify in many cases. For new releases, I'm sure their prices are competitive. Either way, this store is a treasure trove that we have to protect as consumers!

If you have the time, I would suggest you take the trip. As in all cases, one man's trash is another man's treasure. There are some hidden jewels there, if you're willing to look. Their selection is varied and if possible it can be ordered if what you're looking for isn't in stock.

One of the best places to grab some records, comics, movies, and more. The employees have always been quite helpful while never being in the way. Although things seem cluttered initially it makes the store feel very comfortable, as if the people who own place aren't trying to be anything other than what they are. The CD selection is excellent, and although you won't find a lot of full albums on vinyl in the very back of the store, there is an extreme amount of hidden gems to be found. Highly recommend visiting here every once and a while.

I've lived in Columbia for 14 years, but just recently found this place by looking for New / Used CDs and DVDs. It's one of my main stops when my wife and I are out shopping now. Eric has been EXTREMELY helpful in locating CDs and DVDs for us and we've found a lot of good quality Music and movies in the store as well. Excellent place to visit for any type of entertainment.

Scratch N Spin has been around for 17 years and somehow I just discovered them yesterday. I'm a big Blu-ray nerd and they had hundreds! Even some UHD Blu-rays. They also have games (all the way back to the 8-bit era), music CDs, vinyls, 8-tracks, collectables, DVDs, and other cool stuff. Great prices as well! New stuff and has well as traded in items. If you need a place to lose a few hours digging around to find some good treasures, this is the place for you. The staff members are super friendly and helpful!

Been coming here for my comics for a few years now. Owner has been expanding comics section for a while now, and has a much more impressive collection of trade paper backs than when I previously reviewed a couple years ago. Additionally, if he doesn't have it, he can get it for you pretty quick. Always good value, good service, and good selection. Best shop in town, guaranteed.

It's been a while since I've visited, but it's a great place for comics, music and films. With Manifest sadly closed now, this is definitely your best bet for vinyls and hard-to-find DVDs or CDs, as well as any other variety of nerdy stuff. It might be a long drive, but worth it.

Update 8/15/20: Returned to store and prices on items I was looking for were better. Only 1 employee was working so it took a while to be helped. Original: They have a large collection of retro gaming stuff but it is majorly overpriced. Owner not willing negotiate at all. Compared prices to eBay sold prices and then some extra. I was very disappointed.

Locally owned and operated, Scratch n Spin has everything from vinyl records, to comics, Pop figures, cassettes, VHS, DVD, blu-ray, 4K, and video games and consoles!! It's a nerds paradise! The staff is super friendly! I recommend this store to all my friends when asked where to buy harder to find music or where to buy comics at. SNS is my favorite record store in town. They have almost anything you could want if you're into vinyl, cd's, cassette tapes, DVD's and Blurays, comics, funko, action figures, etc. Walking in here brings you back and who doesn't love the smell of vinyl?! Plus, if they don't have what you're looking for, talk to Eric or one of his staff and they'll do their best to find it for you. 10/10.

And they seem to value their customers. There are a wide variety of comics to choose from... The parking lot is a bit of a hassle sometimes but it's not too bad. The shop is bigger than you'd think and there's a big selection. They have a lot of currently running comics and not just from the big two. They have collections for sale too at a good price and a lot of older comics. There's some manga too but not a ton. There's action figures and funko pops too. There seems to be a good selection but I'm not very knowledgeable. There's a lot of music too including CDs and records from a lot of different genres. They also have movies and tv shows for sale along with video games and some older consoles. Staff is always really friendly and willing to order something for you if they don't have it in stock. They frequently have deals going on and you can get comics for a good price.

I went to Scratch N Spin once several years ago to sell/trade some DVDs. It was a quick experience and not a big deal, but I went in again yesterday and holy crap. Not only is this place massive, but they have an impressive back stock of comics as well as new issues, in addition to all the usual stuff they sell. The staff was friendly and asked if they could help me find anything. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out.

I recently contacted this shop looking for the BLAKROC album on vinyl. While the other stores (3) around town only checked their physical inventory, Eric (learned the owners name via email exchanges) took the extra step and contacted his distributor to see if they could locate a copy of this 2009 album at that higher level. Even though we did not have any luck with that route either I was still impressed that they even made the inquiry. They will be my first call next time I am on the hunt for a piece. They get a five star rating for customer service!
