Record Breakers is fantastic!!! I’ve bought a lot of great stuff there over the years and have always been happy. This week I moved and needed to unload some vinyl. Colin took great care of me and helped me out so much! Great place for music lovers!

With a place as iconic and unique as Bric-a-brac just up the road from here, it makes this otherwise pretty fantastic record shop look a little pale in comparison. A great spot to find used vinyl, but make sure to check out the other offerings in the area.

They are handling the pandemic well. Make sure you set an appointment as they limit the amount of people that can be in the store at a time. Gloves and sanitizer provided. The store itself is run by knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were more then helpful when finding certain bands and even offered up suggestions. There is a wide selection of new and used vinyl in every genre. Worth a visit.

So stoked to finally go record shopping in Chicago. I really expected the record store attached to Reggie's to have more punk vinyl. Not much along the lines of Chicago punk royalty (i.e. Screeching Weasel, Riverdales, Sludgeworth, Vindictives, Alkaline Trio, Lawrence Arms, ect...). Still a cool little shop. Got a couple old Alice Cooper albums for a fair price. Worth a trip.

Great local record store in Avondale. Amazing selection of new and used rock, punk, and indie, though there are also smaller electronica, jazz, hip-hop, classical, and metal sections. Friendly staff, not at all snobby. And there's a turtle.

There was a dog. And a turtle. Immediate 5 stars. Beyond that the store is nicely laid out. There is a good selection of used and new albums covering most genres with an emphasis on rock. They have a ton of band tees too which is pretty cool. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

A good sized record store. Wasn't too busy when I went and I spent a good amount of time looking around. Very nice selection of both new and old. Staff was very nice. Picked up a Dean Martin record, it was in great condition, and it sounds great. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely come back

I have to admit that I have extra love for this place because they moved to my neighborhood. This record store is really welcome. The selection of new records is decent for a place this size. But what really brings me back is all the cheap records below the bins! I have purchased a bunch of gems without knowing what I was getting. Even my seven year old son has picked some pretty cool and obscure jazz, rock, and folk records that he plays constantly. You can only make such discoveries at a real brick and mortar record store. I hope this one sticks around for a long while.

My favorite place to spend an afternoon! Vast selection; all the popular stuff, but a also nice selection of classical, jazz, comedy, etc, and tons of old gems if you like originals and first-pressings. Chill vibe, adorable dog, and always great music spinning. Staff is super knowledgeable, and if you're lucky there might be a local band playing on the small stage in back!

Houston new records shop they also have some new equipment like USB turntables some record cleaning products man course CDs I don't remember seeing any DVDs there but I wasn't looking I know I'm going to go back again
