Didn’t have the right size Allen to do my own action adjustment and I also hadn’t ever done it before so I wanted get someone more versed than I to do it. Guitar Center wanted $50 for the minor adjustment. Brought it by here and was helped right away, he did the adjustment on the spot, did a great job, didn’t charge me a dime and I was on my way. 10/10 great place very welcoming. Will be returning for any future needs I’ve got. BUY LOCAL!

Dante Fowler has been a great trumpet teacher for my child. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I was most impressed that he tailored his approach to the needs of my child. He was willing to be innovative in his approach to ensure that my child was engaged and understood the musical skills that he was teaching. I highly recommend Dante.

There's this One Guy Nate that works there and he is by far the best service i have had in a music store. Very polite and very knowledgeable in guitars. I recommend a visit if your after a nice guitar and a friendly experience!!

My 9 year old granddaughter is taking piano lessons with Margaret Hample. She looks forward to her lesson every week, and has learned so much in just a couple of months. Margaret is always positive and motivating.

Absolutely amazing place! The staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. There acoustic room is the biggest around and a safe haven for anyone looking to play some amazing instruments. They have really great prices as well. It's hands down the best local music store in Burlington!

This is the best place in Vermont for electronic repairs. I have a vintage tube amplifier and there is no one else I would trust to work on it. Advance Music has quick turn around, more than reasonable prices and most importantly always puts the customer first. I have great confidence in them.

These guys are great and I keep coming back. Purchased a bass guitar; ukulele, bass ukulele, reeds for sax; guitar strings. They have handled repairs on the sax and got it back to me in great shape at very reasonable prices. Very knowledgeable and with great after sales service.....cant always say that for an online purchase. They were super patient with my kids during our purchases. Highly recommended!

Bought my first guitar here 17 years ago and have had nothing but great experiences ever since. I love the guitar demos and customer service, and will continue to support Advance as long as I live in the area.the staff is knowledgeable, the owner is great, and they have a fairly good selection for a locally owned music store these days. Recently decided to get back into playing more frequently and the staff was very helpful in directing me to an amp in my price range.

I have had nothing but terrific experiences here. My son is an increasingly serious (young) musician, and the helpful, respectful staff encourages him to hang out and try different things, no pressure at all. We bought a few instruments elsewhere early on regretted it. We try to buy everything from Advance, pricing is good and there is no substitute for hands-on. So far: electric guitar, two amps, a ukulele, and various accessories. I hope they continue to thrive.
