This place is great, big selection of emo, punk, hardcore, and indie with a solid collection of hip hop and pop as well. They also routinely get rare and interesting finds in their used section, the owner posts his new used stuff on Instagram (@wannahearitrecords) often and I've gotten a bunch of cool records through that (and missed out on a few by being too slow). Store is often manned by the owner, who is a super cool dude and has an appreciation for all kinds of music from Taylor Swift to Pusha T to Fugazi and he'll likely know about whatever obscure stuff you're into. Other staff are also friendly and will help you find what you're looking for, crack a few jokes, or talk to you about whatever they happen to be playing on the speakers. Definitely a must-visit for vinyl fans, I've blown a bunch of money here already and will continue to do so

Awesome record store. Always have a good selection in the used new arrivals. Have a lot of gems, including the cassette section which is one of the best I have found in the Boston area. Good vibe inside, good music playing all the time and the workers are friendly. Definitely my favorite record store in the Boston area.

Best selection of indie, emo, punk and stuff from the 90's to now I've ever seen in a store. So refreshing to walk in to this place and see records by bands I actually love. This is the new era of vinyl. This isn't your grandfather's record store anymore.

This place is a gem. Lots of great, new records lining the walls and all sorts of genres, new and used. They even have a nifty website where you can buy things ahead of time and pick it up. Though I didn't try it, it was very up to date with new releases, which were there when I arrived.

Love this place! Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful, and I’m always guaranteed to find something unique when digging. Love this new location with more elbow room too.

While there were no records for my music interests, because the owner focuses on punk and heavy metal, I am giving it 5 stars. I browsed the inventory, and the records are organized well. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming person. I might stop by there again to pick a t-shirt. Shop at your local businesses!!!

With record stores becoming a dime a dozen, this place should be considered a gem. Their selection is primarily punk, hardcore, metal, and indie. The variety and selection, both new and use is great, especially since the shop is on the smaller side. They also have a small hip hop selection. This place is a must stop if in Watertown.

Mr Joey, the owner has left me in awe!
His empathy and kindness towards my dilemma of needing to move and sell my record collection was so APPRECIATED!!! He came to my home, moved them then gave me way more than I expected!!!
For that Alone .I adore You!! The best of luck to you and your adorable little shop!
PS.. you are a hottie!❤️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️✌️

Awesome selection of both new and previously loved vinyl. The owner, Joey, really knows his stuff and his collection is amazing. Loved the section of soundtracks and snagged a few albums I’d been searching for as well as things I didn’t know I needed. Joey even made a suggestion on something I wasn’t familiar with and I’ve now been playing it non-stop for a week (Thief OST by Tangerine Dream). If you love music and good vibes you’ll love this place.

They said I picked out some great records which is just the kind of affirmation I need to keep coming back for more.

Incredible selection of vinyl, great vibe inside, good music played unlike most record stores, good conversations with staff while shopping. 10/10 you need to go to this store.

Awesome selection of punk/hardcore/emo records. The #1 place to go whether you want the latest release or a rare release from the 80's. Family owned store (Joey's son was doing laps my first time there) where the staff is always willing to chat, no matter what your taste is. My new top spot for records.

A truly delightful experience. This shop is clean, organized, and well put together. This shop is heavily influenced in the punk and hardcore scene, but highlights all genres across the board. This is a must visit for any and all music lovers. A great addition to Watertown!

This place could become a problem for me. I discovered this place like three weeks ago and have been back twice. Each time leaving with more than I intended. Great selection. Fantastic staff. Perfectly curated to specific tastes. Hopefully I can rein myself in so I don't spiral out of control and spend all my money there. There are worse habits one can form though I suppose.

Customer Service is great, selection is insanely good and store itself is awesome. 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great local record store

A unique gem of a record shop. Maybe the best emo/punk/indie/alt vinyl selection in the whole northeast, fair prices, curated selection, awesome knowledgeable owner and staff. Definitely check it out.

Awesome shop with great employees. Not only is there a great selection of punk and indie classics but they host a lot of local records too like Counter Intuitive Records

They weren't open at 12:30 on Thursday. No one answered the phone either.
They got back to me, and there was a good explanation. I'll try again.
