Tons of great finds at totally solid prices. Nice staff, good location. Will be back again, and again…
Sheel Patel
Great little record store with some hidden gems. Amazing selection of cheaper vinyls (the $1 bins are always fun to rifle through), as well as jazz and vocal albums. Staff is friendly and helpful. They do have a $10, minimum for credit cards, so make sure to bring some cash.
Zac Zaremba
Great selection for a smaller shop, reasonable prices and nice staff. Will definitely be a go to spot for me.
David Nugent
Great store with a huge selection of vinyl. Owned and operated by great people!
Jonathan
Superb store and one that couldn't be owned & operated by nicer people!!!
Barry Hensley
Small, fun record store. Jazz section isn't very big but had some good finds.
DrDap
A record store the way record stores used to be: Idiosyncratic, cozy, and interesting--run by people worth talking to about music. The stock changes reasonably quickly, and the prices are usually very reasonable. If you know YOUR stuff, you will find Jack and the rest of the staff a lot of fun to talk to.
Their greatest focus and expertise here is jazz, but there are also nice sections devoted to rock, soul, folk, country, etc. And they have bargain bins filled with interesting strays, not junk.
They have a very nice vinyl section, and an OK CD session.
If you're a music fan in the area, Stereo Jack's is a must.

This is a great record store with a wide range of music. Jazz is the specialty, but I’ve gotten tons of great rock albums here at very reasonable prices, too. Definitely worth a visit.
Ben Mello
Great little shop. Pretty good selection of old records at really solid prices. Perfect places to do some digging and find some gems. Not much new stuff if that's what you're after.
Liam
Huge dollar section with records in good condition. Found some very cool records in there. I'm not very impressed with their 45s though. They are in a weird place and are impossible to dig through. I would be nice for them to organize them too. But otherwise, the staff are nice and it's generally a good shop.
Terry Baxter
Nicely organized, reasonable prices, COVID plexiglass between facing browser bins to protect customers.
Len Wennerberg
Thanks again for all the good stuff over the years, Jack. Enjoy your retirement!
Roei Tzur
Great place! Great prices. Check out the 1$ section. Definitely the best record store in cambridge.
Darwinsom
Nice location. Store is small. If you like Jazz it's The place to shop & learn

They obviously don't buy used CDs that are scratched. Even the $2 used CDs were clean, and I found some $2 jazz CD gems in excellent condition, including one that was brand new.

In Boston, or in many different used vinyl romps, you may find decent selection and good size. What this record store tends to do quite well is absorb and sell really amazing amounts of GREAT Jazz reissue LPs and Blues. Trad, Bop, Big Bands, 45's and wood storage units. The dollar bins are worth going through. What's rare and what's hot will sell for decent money (Ealges Greatest 71-75 used to be $1.99 but now goes for $12 or higher, same for Zeppelin, but expect that!) but if you're looking for good OJC/Prestige and even Soul/Funk and common rock records, Stereo Jack's worth digging through any time of year. It's slowly becoming popular with young college kids. Culture is here. Check it out.

Classical records $1. But they are not in any order.. But I have bought my opera and Leadbelly records back to London, and they are my best souvenir !

I often spent hours looking for rare house records. I never went home empty handed. The store was a big impact on my music evolution.

Always a great selection at great prices. The staff is always kind and are extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of music
rugg 1999
Okay selection, lots of records for a dollar apiece, also a lot of overpriced reprints of classic albums.
Jack Wilson
Awesome record store - a mix of old and new. Found some great second hand bargains of classic vinyl.
Chad Fetyko
Okay place, wish they had more old (used) than new. Still cool little store.

Just got back into my vinyl collection. Went here for the first time 1/12/23. Picked up a few lps. Stones sucking in the 70s. 7.99. Great price Went to two other shops one on mass ave Cambridge. The other Somerville in an ally. The first shop was 14.99. Wasn’t so cheap O. The second 12.99. For the same lp. I know condition is revenant. But outta these three shops. This place was the best. Just opened September. Next to Lindell’s bakery Christoper has a great attitude. Thanks for playing Jeff beck on the day after his death. I didn’t get the owners name but he had no problem playing a track off the stones lp that looked scratched but it wasn’t a deep scratch. Played it for me no issues. I bought it. He also played another blues lp so I could hear the quality. The “cheap” used record store gave me an attitude about playing a lp that was 34.99. I walked out on them This place has all my business now. Great new used lp vinyl store in Massachusetts. Worth the drive
