Love me some Nugs! CDs, cassettes, and vinyls galore. It’s a non-descript building & yes it’s dusty and slightly disorganized but honestly if you want a pristine store where you don’t have to rummage to find some treasures then just take your poser self to Urban Outfitters on Newbury. Wide selection of genres and a range of prices, from a few bucks to rare collectibles. I am glad to have discovered this place and will be back!

Great selection of old vinyl, but the crates aren't super well sorted or labeled so get ready to dig! Also great selection of cassettes, if you're in to those. Prices are very reasonable.

Fair pricing, large Vinyl selection. I found a few old Drum and Bass and Techno records. They buy your used stuff if that is something you want to do. Support your local record store.

Sorry to see that the stock of vinyl has dwindled to almost nothing. I guess they aren't acquiring anything new. It's rare that I leave a store empty-handed, but I couldn't find anything.

Great selection of vinyl records, very well organized. Also has lots of CDs, VHS and cassete tapes. If there is anything bad in the store, it is the stickers with prices: they leave a sticky glue in the cover as you peel them off. It is a must-stop place for those who like old music and movies!

Good store! Definitely worth it to stop in if you like CDs, Cassettes, or records. Good for casual and serious collectors. The only downside is their stickers leave awful residue and are hard to get off

They have a lot of records. Good size R&B etc. section too. The problem is that, in my experience, if you're looking for specific artists, and their section isn't empty, then it likely won't have the releases you'd actually want (and if they do have what you want, it's for significantly higher prices than other places). CDs and DVDs fare a bit better, but I'm not sure I could recommend Nuggets as a place to find good vinyl. Edit: I went back again and found some cool and not so bad albums so imma bump it up a star.

This store is cool and funky, with a good selection of music. When you walk by, rain or shine or snow, there's a speaker playing jams while the store is open. The people who work there are nice. Only qualm is they don't have a great selection of band or concert posters.

Nuggets has been my favorite record store for several years. Excellent selection across many genres with very reasonable prices. The dude that owns the place is a treasure trove of musical knowledge and interesting stories.

Large selection of all things media from records to CD's to tapes, top VHS and so on. The prices for music are in line with what you would expect to find on the low end of Discogs pricing as the condition of things in this shop are at best (G) to (VG-). Sure you'll get lucky sometimes, but don't be disappointed when you see an album you've been coveting only find out that the cover is shot. Lastly, I would have loved to have seen this shop 10 years ago. Digging through the record artist blades, there are some awesome 90's albums that would make any collector jealous of whoever had them. Too bad Nuggets doesn't have them. Just empty sections, however, if it's that Vanity album you've been looking for.... They've got it!

Found Nuggets through this app and happened to be in the area. I was pleased with what I found... They have an extensively indexed collection of LPs including imports and singles, sorted by genre and artist. Within each artist, their selection is modest but I did find some rarities. In general I felt their prices were fair to high, similar to the previous reviewer's comment. On a personal note, I scored a great find for a good price here. I would go back next time I'm in town.

The wife and I was traveling from out of town and found this place while finding a place for dinner. i purchaced a 3 dvd set+1cd that i passed up. went back to the hotel and kept thinking about it. i looked the product up on amazon to reassure myself it could possibly be some sort of investment. i found that it was "OOP" it alsp old on amazon and ebay low to high end new/used/mint from 90$-190$. I paid $42.49 after tax. disks like new. NICE! buuuuttt...over priced for most things otherwise. like movies that would normally be 1$-3$ elsewhere that I have been they sell at that record store between 6$-10$. look really hard for those gems and decent price.

Vast selection of vinyl, CDs and tapes. Love the atmosphere and quirky feel to this shop. My main complaint is the layout. It's very confined and built like a maze.

I was looking for jazz CDs in Boston, they had one of the finest sélections in town (along with Planet Records). Furthemore, they made a small mistake with my purchases, and I was back in Paris when I saw it, but they really went out of their way to correct it.

Not much of a selection (no heavy metal to speak of, for example), and not much appeared to be in good shape. A selection of tapes, some magazines,DVDs, and Blurays as well. Worth a stop in for crate diggers, though. You never know what you might find.
