Reviews of Rich Ita's Brass Instrument Workshop
Good care for my instrument. Rich is the man for all things brass. Made a student horn feel significantly better and knows so much about everything. Got brass? Make a friend.
I had an old tuba. It was full of dents, turning slides stuck badly, and it was unplayable. We the repair was completed it played well and 90% of the dents were gone. The cost was reasonable and the work was world class.
Great work and great customer service. I got my husband's trumpet cleaned as a birthday gift and we were so impressed. The trumpet looked brand new after Rich Ita and his team worked on it. Highly recommend. We are so incredibly thankful.
Rich did and outstanding job on my Schilke X4L with a tunable bell. He cleaned it, repaired some dents, and fixed the lead pipe. The horn looks and played great.
Rich and team have worked on eight of my horns (seven trombones and one euphonium), and I’m super happy! The work ranges from routine alignment and dent removal, to major chopping and reconstruction (and everything in between). I do not hesitate to bring in my horns when they need the attention of a master craftsman!
The shop has worked on several of my instruments and I've not had a complaint. Great work at reasonable prices. I've had a King 2B, 3B, 4B (x2) and a Conn 88H put into working shape and am very pleased!
Excellent work done by highly skilled professionals. Very nice people, as well.
I took my trumpet in to Rich Ita to get some repair work done to it. It was a used horn when I bought it. After he finished working on it, I didn't even recognize my own horn. It looked almost brand new. Rich fixed everything! He is very thorough with his work. I would highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed with his work.
A class act.
From start to finish my experience with Rich was awesome.
I asked him to repair and refurbish my Dad's old horn. My Father passed away last summer and I wanted to use his old horn to remember and honor him. Rich treated this process with kindness and respect.
Fast forward, and my Dad's horn is back with us, and it is AMAZING. It is pretty much brand new and as if it never left the factory from the 60s! I'm so happy with the result, and can't thank Rich enough.
I will go back to Rich for all my trumpet repairs and advice. You should do the same. Well done.
Rich and Victor were fantastically helpful to my son and I, who are “newbies” to the world of instrument shopping! They chose a number of instruments for him to play, and he fell in love with a fantastic vintage refurbished trumpet we purchased as upgrade from his Jupiter student model. Rich not only patiently shared very specific care instructions with my son, but also told us the history of my son’s trumpet model, which makes it even more special to us. This horn should last him 30+ years, but we’ll be bringing it back here for cleanings and any necessary repairs. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
