What a wonderful shop! We are extremely new to the area and stopped by with a question on my teen's guitar. The Manager have us personal attention and was both personable and extremely knowledgeable. We also signed up for a free 30 min group guitar lesson and got a discount when we signed up for private lessons the same day. My children's instructor is versed in multiple instruments and they are both excited to go to class each week. I'm considering taking drum lessons myself. So glad we stopped by!

My family has been utilizing the store for months now as my son learns the piano. Many questions have come up regarding a number of musical related topics and the staff is responsive and though in their help. Also, the teachers are fabulous, it's made me want to start learn an instrument again in my 50's.

Excellent service and so friendly! We needed the strings replaced on our cello, and the process was quick and expertly done. While waiting, I was also able to inquire about some stands and saxophone information too. Great group of employees! We highly recommend them!

Ali, the manager i believe, was extremely helpful and actually took the time to teach me how to string my guitar and let me ask millions of annoying questions and was very helpful and knowledgeable. She even let me ask general questions about tips for beginners. 5 out of 5 experience. The second time I went to Music & Arts I had the same level of experience. Jonah and Danielle were very friendly and there is a true culture of Music at Music & Arts. Jonah was able to quickly restring my guitar and clean it up within 10 minutes of me arriving at the store and I had great conversations with him and Danielle while I was waiting. 10/10 would recommend.

My daughter needed a new string for her cello. Jalaani provided excellent customer service, taking the time to make sure we knew how to install the string, and that we had what we needed. He was an absolute professional and we will definitely be back! My one ask is that you consider keeping a few individual cello strings in stock so customers don’t have to buy a whole set and you’re not losing business to the online sites.

I am a piano teacher and I have been shopping at this location for many years. In general I am very pleased with the service and the selection. The staff is friendly, the shelves are well stocked, and they have a wide variety of music books and materials for piano. Anything they don't have they can order for your or get transferred from another store. It usually arrives within a few days and they are very conscientious about calling to let you know it arrived in the store for pick-up. If there is a specific song you are looking for they will search it online and print it right there in the store for you. They also have many good sales throughout the year. I have recommended the full-size digital pianos to my students and have always been pleased with the quality. Many times you can get full-size digital pianos for $400, which is a great deal for the decent quality. However, keep in mind that the staff works on commission so they will try and sell you the more expensive item. Listen to your music teacher, and get what they recommend, not the sales people. They have material for both ABRSM and NFMC Federated Festival. They are also very supportive of the local music teachers association. On a regular basic they provide hospitality and refreshments for our monthly meetings. Several of my high school students have also worked there over the summer. I like that they are good at hiring temporary summer help. The only thing to be cautious of is renting instruments. I have never rented so I don't have personal experience, but I have heard stories from my students renting instruments for band or orchestra. Make sure you know all the details of the contract you're signing and read all the fine print.

Been to the store twice in the last few weeks and can't say enough good things about this store. Excellent variety of inventory (instruments, accessories, etc) and the customer service with the store manager (TJ) and Lizzy (sp?) is outstanding. They both have gone above and beyond and really helped me out with a couple guitars that needed to be cleaned up/restrung, etc. I plan to take some guitar lessons soon and because of the great service, I'll get lessons here (they supposedly have a ton of teachers and they're really good)...will send an updated review once I get a few lessons. Decent selection of reeds, mouth pieces and instruments for its size. If you want to get something and don't want to pay as much for shipping just order it through the store. Best place I have ever used when it comes to rentals.
