Love this place! Gotta support our local record stores. Prices are decent, atmosphere is great, lots of good variety. Nice selection of band shirts, as well. Definitely worth checking in often for new finds.

I absolutely loved Voltage. It’s a little shop down a few stairs, off a not too busy street. They sold music in a pretty large variety, and even though it was compact, it had everything I wanted.

Not a whole lot of selection. Mostly older records with one section of new. Cool little shop but didn't have anything I was looking for.

I really enjoyed checking this place out, great atmosphere and a significantly diverse selection. It would seem that there's something for everyone. Not only do they have a good record selection, they have shirts and other things that compliment their music inventory. A great place to check out if you're in the area.

Fantastic selection. Seemed to be quality records while having unique albums and artists that I don't normally see at other record shops. Prices seem to be on par with what you should be paying. Plan on making this a normal stop for record shopping.

Nice spot for vinyl hunting. Much more used records than new releases. And quite a few choices in the $2 bins. Definitely a place for those who don't mind searching for a find.

Great place to go if you want new or used records. They have a wide variety of genres for both new and old which is a nice change of pace. Most record stores have the usual 'Credence Clearwater Revival and Beyonce' records new and then a bin of used records from artists no one has ever heard of. Luckily that isn't the case here!

Voltage Records is one of about 3 major record stores in Asheville, the others being Harvest in west Asheville and Static Age just one block from Voltage. It has a decent selection, favoring mostly metal and punk music while other genres have a much more limited catalogue. I've bought several records from there over the years, and the owners are friendly enough and patient above all else. Their prices are generally fair and they're very catering to Record Store Day.

Tried some digging over at Harvest records and they were tools. Not as cool as you think you are. Booked out of there and headed over to Voltage, owner was cool and helped me find some stuff I needed. This is your place to go if you want vinyl.

$2 bins were all goodwill junk from what I could tell but otherwise selection is quite good, prices a bit high but not ridiculous, music playing sucked so bad I put my earbuds in. Still 4 stars tho cuz of selection/organization.
