My sister and I were in the area and stopped in to take a look around a few weeks ago. The staff is very friendly and kind, and welcome taking photos of most items on display, save for a few displays on one side of the shop. There is so much to look at though, and so much beauty to be found. From shirts, to art prints from a local artist, $2 stickers at the counter, a multitude of pinned insects, jar upon jar of wet specimen, skulls, and taxidermy animals- there’s so much to look at and take in. I can’t wait to go back and bring my friends sometime in the near future.

We happened upon this place by chance, and we were so glad we did! It is amazing to see all the unique and one of a kind pieces. Also the handmade items by artists are very cool. It’s definitely a place to see. Liz was also a pleasure to talk with. We are so glad we had the opportunity to visit this business and buy some amazing pieces.

Such a unique gem in swfl. I had them taxidermy my pet rats tail after she passed away, and they went above and beyond to make it special in a shadow box with a floral arrangement and all. Super kind people who run this store. It’s been awhile but can’t wait to go back.

I have been to this place so many times and every time it’s different with different things and some the same but mostly different. I love this place so much and the interesting finds they have. The owner is such a sweetheart and her reptiles are the cutest. I will always come back to this place for as long as it’s here.

A very interesting shop full of interesting oddities. Just about everything in here will shock or surprise. Great for a unique visit, or an actual shopping experience. Definitely worth the visit.

You will definitely see things you normally wouldn’t see on a daily basis. It has a specific smell that we just couldn’t get used to but understandably there’s a reason why it has a distinct smell to the place. A bit over-priced on some items like the jewelry but overall interesting place to check out while visiting Ybor City.

Dysfunctional Grace Art is a fascinating store that could pass for a museum. Pickled jarred animals, stuffed bats and altered taxidermy are among many other odd items that can be found in the store.

This place is really awesome and the owner answer all of my questions and even offered to order more eclectic pieces for me. The prices are comparable to other store that sell similar items, though there aren't that many stores like this one. If you're in Ybor make sure you take a stop inside.

I received a dysfunctional box and it was fantastic! So many little interesting treasures in it. The presentation of the box was also great. It was for my birthday and I picked it up in store. They had wrapped it in black paper and put dried roses on the top. Definitely shop here and definitely buy one of their boxes. You won't be disappointed!!

I first came here a couple years ago on a vaction and fell in love. The owner was so nice, she showed me her pet squirrel and showed me all sorts of interesting things around the shop. I just moved to the Tampa Bay area and returned to this little shop to find it's expanded and even better than the first time. I love it! All the hand made goods are gorgeous and the vintage stuff is well curated. If you are in the area check it out!

Really cool place for oddities and unique pieces that are not only beautiful but thought provoking as well. While located on the main street, it is easy to walk by without a glance. BIG mistake! If you're tired of old and boring and are not easily offended, take the time to visit. Chances are you'll buy something no one else has!

Very cool place. We went to Obscura in NYC when we were there and I will have to say that this place is even better. Though I will always have a love for Obscura and the show Odfities, this store is closer to home! The store is large and has so many unique items. Including human skulls and shrunken heads! Make sure to check out the Spooky Lounge a couple of places over if this is your thing.

We were walking by this shop after dinner one night but they weren't open. You could see an old dentist chair, animal heads, coffins and an assortment of oddities. We came back during the day and it was open. They have one of the most amazing collections of strange things you've ever seen. Definitely worth a look if you're in downtown Ybor City.

I've really never met a cooler business owner, walked into a cooler shop, or purchased such meaningful items from anywhere else in my life. Ybor would be pointless to visit without this business. I know that sounds dramatic, but I mean it. It's the perfect place to find forever decor, magick items, unique and strange jewelry, aromatherapy, and odds and ends that are so unique, you'll look at every single one. Dysfunctional Grace is both a step into history and a glance into the future all at once. Don't miss it. It's next to Blind Tiger on 7th in Ybor city.
