Reviews of Space Needle

this place is a calling card for Seattle and the whole world knows. who wants to visit here should be calculated about 2 hours, if everything is fine to inspect. The appointed time does not mean that you will immediately go upstairs, I was in the morning hours and a little earlier than the appointed time and everything exactly had to stand in line for about 15 minutes. but it's all worth the wait. the landscape is gorgeous, the city, the bay is a great view from above. there is a place to sit and have a bite, there are free drinks, there is a restaurant. two levels. it's interesting when you watch the tower spin and you yourself are inside. you can take great pictures. there is a large gift shop downstairs. I am very glad. I advise everyone to visit.
Bill Rizzo
Amazing views of the city and the sound. Worth the wait. Get your ticket from the on-site machines so you don't have to commit to a time to far in advance. The outside viewing deck is awe inspiring. Built in 1961-62, (370 days), it is crazy how quickly they were able to complete the structure. The wallboard along the hall were very interesting and helped pass the time inline. The revolving deck just below the observation deck is cool, as it has a see through floor on the outer most area.
Gary Jelks
Having been up many towers throughout the world, this one was on my bucket list and it didn't disappoint.
The queue was long despite having pre-booked tickets but it seems to move at a reasonable pace.
The information board on the construction of the Space Needle was interesting and reading it took away the monotony of standing in the queue.
The elevator up offered views over the city and the view from the top, especially on a good at was breath taking. There are plenty of points of interest throughout the stroll around the top. The views across the bay and downtown are amazing.
The revolving floor was interesting to see and feel. The glass floor was a nice touch too.
The gift shop at the bottom was well stocked and reasonably priced, if you are into souvenirs of your trip. The shop is also cashless.
All staff encountered were friendly and helpful.
If in Seattle this is definitely a place to visit.

It was actually a lot of fun! It was cloudy when we got there, but by the time we got to the top the skies had cleared and we got to experience the most amazing views! The revolving glass floor on the lower level is beautiful and a fun time all around. Loved the gift shop too!

Gorgeous View from the top of the Seattle Space Needle! Definitely top on the list if traveling to Seattle. We enjoyed the observation deck and especially the walk over the clear see though floor which is for the brave heart because it could be difficult for some. Or they would just chose to not look down. But it's a one of kind experience that I would highly recommend. I enjoyed it so much I took video of that walk. We traveled here back in 2019 and would love to go back.

Climbing up in a transparent elevator to the second floor where there is an impressive 360-degree view of Seattle and the surrounding mountains. It is worth going up on a clear day when visibility is good. Upstairs there is a bar and a food stand. There are stairs to the first floor and there is a revolving restaurant with a transparent floor. Cool experience in Seattle, highly recommend. Worth knowing: You can buy a ticket combined with the Glass Museum and save $ 10.

What an incredible view ! It is a bit pricey to get up there. $35.00 a person. There is a bar sort of at the too. Highly suggest you make reservations for it as it was packed. They don't really offer food. Thar would make this place even better and I would say worth the 💰 cost of admission. Anyhow it was a great view of the city. Parking is not cheap either but its kinda pricey to park anywhere in Washington. I suggest this place just because it is so tall and the views are great.
Jay Downam
The staff is not overly helpful. But even so nobody was rude either. If visiting Seattle it is a must see. Take a walk around in the local parks and you can get a great view of Mount Rainier. Felt very safe walking in and around the city.. definitely glad I went.. Words and pics cannot give it justice..

I was so pleased, happy and excited about our family first time at the Space Needle. Our children would mention it every single time we came to Seattle and this past Friday we FINALLY went and the whole experience was cool and very mind-blowing!! We "family of 4" got to enjoy and explore both levels including the gift shop. My children loved their sprinkle cookies and very delicious cupcakes (I took a bite). The wine bar was stunning and I tasted my husband's beer and it was the best beer I've ever had (I'm a wine gal). The atmosphere was a so chill, everyone who was there was nice, the staff were very welcoming and that's all I want when I go to visit a new place. I really appreciate this forever memory with my family. Thank you to all the staff and the clean environment you all helped keep up... really good times and forever lasting memories. BTW upon entering they take a free professional picture and you can find it on your 🎟.

Obviously a local land mark and a tourist attraction but a bit chaotic to get in. We went on a Friday morning and it was already a long wait. They need to do a better job with getting into the building. People had no idea when and where to get in line, especially people who got their tickets through third party vendors.
But, the views are incredible

This is one of the best Seattle attractions.
We bought city pass that included visit to Space needle and 4 other attractions.
I would recommend doing so.
You can see 365 degree view of Seattle.
There is a glass floor that rotates which is very cool. You can take nice photos there.
They have a really cute restaurant in the top floor. You have to reserve at least few days before going. The restaurant is very pricey but worth the experience if one can afford.

Ticket was about ~$40 in Aug 2022. Pretty awesome they started building this in 1961 and it still stands today. It’s a great view of Seattle, the glass floors and spinning is pretty cool. I came here by myself, so that’s not really recommended. It looks like it’s a lot more fun with a group of people.
I didn’t realize at first, but there are two floors. The top floor leads you outside to check out the views and take pictures. If you go down the stairs, you can see the moving glass floor. Not recommended if you don’t like heights
There are great views of the ocean and city. You could see Mount Rainer, since it was a relatively clear day. I probably stayed here for about 45min to an hour. Afterward, you can check out the merch store.
Cirrus Sanofi
This place is ideal for all people who love heights. This tower offers a beautiful view of the whole city and its neighborhoods. You can be inside, but you can also go outside, have their special beer or something to eat in the restaurant, which is one floor below. You will find here also a glass floor that rotates. Come here during the day or in the evening, both times are perfect.
Pedro Nunez (R2Detour)
First time in the Pacific NW, so like any tourist, had to checked out the Space Needle. It was a pretty cool experience, plus nice view of the city. I absolutely enjoyed people shying away from the glass wall, and the revolving glass floor. My wife was definitely not having the glass floor, that alone was worth the ticket price for me 🤣
The line wasn’t that bad, but apparently we got lucky since apparently it can be more hectic. Overall, pretty cool experience, would definitely recommend it, specially if you have kid’s, they were really enjoying it more than the parents avoiding the glass floor 🤣
Laureen Biczak
Nicely set up. It is a wonderful place to have a beautiful view of a beautiful city! Lots to look at and the rotating glass floor is a little intimidating but you can stay on the carpet and not on the glass floor if you prefer. There are restrooms and a bar and snack bar at the top of a 41 sec elevator ride. Elevators up and down every 3 min- stay as long as you want.
elvira evans
Amazing! Incredible views on the top. Great place for photos looking out the city of Seattle. The glass floor was scary! It goes around and around and around slowly though..
Buy the city pass ticket for $234 for 2 and you get in to 5 different places to see which includes the incredible Chahuly Glass Exhibits, the Museum of Pop Culture, the Seattle Aquarium, and the Harbor Cruise.
Momo
Beautiful structure. Breathtaking views. Going there early and weekdays is definitely worth it. It wasn't crowded. I was able to take pics without being on top of another. I arrived around 10am with no line and left around 11. There was a long line as I was leaving
Ozzie Os
Took the monorail. Great 2 min ride from downtown. Easy on and off. Space needle arrived approx 1130am. Were able to purchase tickets at the kiosk for 1215pm. Kiosk was simple, a lot faster than waiting for manual purchase. If you go a little to the right of the gift shop doors, there are usually kiosks with no or shorter waiting. They did not allow anyone in line until it was your specific time. The line moved quickly to get to the elevator. Views are AMAZING! Make sure you walk down one level to look out the revolving floor. Windows seems another cleaner there to get nice pictures, just need to be aware of reflections. A bit pricey. When it first opened in 1962 it cost $1, now $35. 4 stars because of price.
juhani jääskeläinen
Space Needle is Seattle's symbol and a famous landmark. Ride up costs 35-40 dollars but if you buy the day/night pass you get the most out of it. The views are astonishing and there's a cafe and a bar. Upper floor has beautiful views to Puget Sound and Elliot bay and to Seattle downtown. Lower floor has a rotating floor which is pretty neat. I spent 2 hours there
Alain Ortiz
As someone that fears heights this was both frightening and beautiful to experience. The views are amazing and it's definitely worth visiting, especially if you plan for it to be a one-time event. Purchase the City pass that includes additional access to the aquarium, Museum of Glass, Museum of Modern Art, and the ferry ride; You'll save money and enjoy all of the attractions
Andrew
A bit pricey to go up, but having never doing this and visiting Seattle for the first time made it worth it for our group. We didn't have too long of a wait, and they have interesting facts about the construction of the Space Needle to read about while waiting for the elevator. Gorgeous views of Seattle and Puget Sound from the top! We also enjoyed looking down through the glass floor. They also took a picture of our group before heading up which was a quality photo and free to download, viewable and able to download from kiosk/machines at the top of the Space Needle. Highly recommend, especially if it's your first time visiting!!
Candyce Raiford
We loved it!! My son was terrified but said he had fun as well, but that's when he was looking at a replica of the venue. My daughter liked being able to see the gear that turns the top, and enjoyed seeing the city from afar. The elevator ride up and down also gives you an adrenaline rush.

This was my first trip to the world famous Space Needle in Seattle, WA! My lady and I had a Blast! It was perfect crisp weather making for a gorgeous afternoon. The line wasn’t bad, and I was able to get tickets online ahead of time to make entry easier. Everyone was very nice, staff was helpful and cheerful. There was a professional photographer named Hazel who was hanging out and offering free photos for patrons, so cool! Also they have a great system worked out for photos taken at the Space Needle that allows access through your admission ticket number. I have traveled to Seattle several times, but to get on an elevator that takes you to the observation deck high above the city, with a 360 degree bird’s eye view, was exhilarating! It was an experience that I will remember for a lifetime!
Phanindra Garimella (Phani)
Went many times and this iconic tower makes Seattle stands tall at 520 feet. Once you are at the top of the space needle, you see the waterfront, mega buildings, and also cascades. The best time among my visits is during summer as you see everything around without the cloud cover. Enjoy taking the high-speed elevator and rotating glass floor. Enjoyed the views and took so many photos with my family including kids of which one is a toddler. Digital photos taken at Space needle are free to download and I hope they won't change this in the future. I strongly recommend it if you are new to the City or never visited this tower before.
Maurice Almay
great view of Seattle, I believe the best view in the City. the tour is well organized, the line is long of course, you can buy the tickets online or at the machines next to the entrance. there is a nice park next to it that you can sit and enjoy a little while you wait. There is a monorail that can take you to different parts of the city as well. Now at the top, there is a glass floor that rotates, TERRIFYING, but very enjoyable, if you have the stomach for it, if not, just stand back and watch other people's look of fear while they step on it.
Linden Yee
Awesome views, the rotating glass floor is super cool. It's nice they don't limit your time on the observation deck, I stayed for over 90 minutes. The line to get in also moved pretty efficiently. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion.
Laura Silva
I had previously been to Seattle but didn’t get the opportunity to visit the space needle so I made sure to make it a must this go round. The views are breathtaking, and I absolutely loved the ambiance. The weather was perfect and we got to enjoy the clear skies and sun! I’m a bit afraid of heights, but I would hands down recommend this as a must do in Seattle.
Alita Hawksworth
Purchased tickets via online ...... easy process.
Did the 930-945am time slot.
Pretty efficient process to get into elevator and up.
Clean restrooms and well stocked.
Friendly staff.
Gift shop is clean and well stocked with a wide variety of items.
Cafe at top for food and drinks but have to be consumed before exiting.

The Space Needle is a beautiful place and symbol of Seattle. You can have a great time there. There is a souvenir shop on the ground floor, and a little higher you can see the Museum of the History of the Space Needle. However, the most interesting is at the top. You can see a beautiful view of the city, Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay, and various islands in Puget Sound. I recommend you go to the Space Needle on a sunny day. I was on a rainy day and it prevented me from enjoying all the great views. However, it was worth it.
Rababe Saadaoui
Great experience. The rotating glass floor was very cool and we had a lot of fun there. The views from this iconic tower are absolutely amazing! You can take great pictures from there. The line was pretty long though
Sreekandh Balakrishnan
What an amazing engineering Marvel Seattle has created in the 1960's. The revolving floor is a must see. The view is breathtaking!! It's a place to bring you, your child and your parents. No one will complain.
I have seen the pictures earlier but nothing beats the view from the top thru your real eyes. Just come and see the beautiful Seattle town!!
John Musumeci
Really fun experience for those new to Seattle. It has changed a bit since I have been last instead of the restaurant they have a bar area with some limited food. I believe. The glass floor is definitely worth seeing. Super cool!! Also, the handicap access is very good and accommodating.
Millie Kwan
This is an iconic building and attraction in Seattle. While you might think it is a tourist trap it's actually really a great place to see Seattle and it's environs without flying over the city. The rotating glass floor is also a fun attraction, but I think the observation deck is still the best feature. Buy your tickets from the kiosks out front. After you've seen the city, go next door and see the Chihuly Gardens which are even better.
Topher Ellis
The Seattle Space Needle is an iconic attraction in Seattle. The tower is not that big at only 55-60 stories high, there are higher office building in the downtown core, however, because where the Needle is situated, it allows for fantastic views of the downtown area as well as the bay. Because there is an area on the tower that rotates 360 degrees, you can view the entire city just by standing in one spot. if you visit in the early evening, you can catch the city by day and by night. its an older building so its not full of any high-tech gadgets but it does serve food and drinks. There is also a limit on how many people can go up so its not very crowded up there and you will definitely get some great photos of the tower as well as the city. The gift shop on the ground level is also very nice so you will definitely walk away with something to remember this icon by. its not very expensive to go up but even though its a total tourist stop, its really a must do when you visit Seattle. you can easily walk here from most downtown hotels, but if you plan your day, there are plenty of places to visit in the area and this would be just another stop. Lots of parking in the area as well.
Bryan Hernandez-Nieves
This is an architectural wonder! I love the 360° view, though I found the tickets to be a little pricey, I feel like it was worth the experience. Lots of things to do and places to grab a good bite in this area. The street performers, the food and the views made the experience amazing and unique. Visiting the Space Needle is a must if you’re in Seattle.
Tyler Norton
This was a really unique and cool experience and learning history, traveling from Minnesota to Oregon for work and spent the weekend in Seattle and this alone was one of the coolest things we did. The views are amazing the rotating glass floor was cool, they do sell alcohol and food on the vary top floor and for $35 and be able to sit up there and watch the city. I'm not sure if there is a time limit but I didn't see one. Look for mt rainier in the distance over the buildings.
caytlyn brooke
What a blast!! We took our kids 6 & 4 years old and they had a great time! We loved reading about the creation of the needle and the interactive exhibits stationed at each one made the wait fly by! We were excited to get a free photo on the way up and then once we got to the top, we loved exploring and seeing the different parts of the city! We also loved the revolving floor and laughed taking silly pictures! The gift shop was another exciting stop and we left with cool souvenirs and nice memories!
Ryan Ebert
The Seattle space needle is a must see if you visit Seattle. It’s easy to dismiss it as a tourist trap and it does cost a bit to get up top but it’s a unique experience.
The elevator right is quick and fun with good views as you fly upward. Once you’re at the top the whole area on top is setup for photos. You’re treated to a 360 panoramic view of Seattle. It’s well worth the price of admission.
Yi Zeng
I recommend visiting this place when visiting Seattle. I really like seeing the view of many boats and buildings. However, the weather wasn’t the greatest but it is still a unique experience. I recommend checking the weather before visiting this place so you can see mt rainier and further places.
Stephanie Davis
Iconic ride to the top. Lots of folks enjoyed taking squeamish photos leaning against the glass. It is a bit scary if you don't like heights. Another floor down is the restrooms, and then the floor below is the revolving glass floor where you can also get great photos. Plenty of beverage and snack stands. At the bottom is a massive gift shop with lots of great souvenirs.
Michael Ianni-Palarchio
Great view of the city and water. Reasonably priced for similar type attraction. The space needle is nice and similar to the Eiffel Tower in Paris in that there is a mostly unobstructed view for quite a ways off, unlike many other towers or observatories which are often blocked by taller buildings. Definitely recommend checking it out. Hold off on the gift ships as you can buy almost anything they sell at other stores around the city for 1/5 the cost.
Seth Salamanca
This turned out to be more fun than I would've thought. My friends and I sat up top enjoying the views, snacking on some food and having some drinks for a couple hours. It was a nice way to take a break and relax from all the touristy things we did all day.
EJ Serrano
Efficient visit, every staff member was pleasant and friendly. Breathtaking views of Seattle even on a cloudy day. The revolving floor was fun and different from previously visited towers. Appreciated the free digital photos without having to pay an extra fee. Must stop at gift shop for unique local souvenirs!
Jess Foster
If you get the chance to visit the space needle go! The lines to get to the top are quick and the elevator ride gives you the full glass view as you ascend. The top viewing deck has drinks and snacks as your overlook the skyline. The second level has a rotating floor to allow you to enjoy a slow movement around the space needle. The gift shop has so many great Seattle themed collections. I got a great sticker of big foot for my computer. The grounds around the space needle are full or musicians, snack vendors and other attractions. Take in the science center, glass gallery or the outside gardens. Give yourself extra time to enjoy the surroundings of the space needle. It is a beautiful setting.
Hussain Ali Mirza
A must see attraction in Seattle. We left this for the last day of our trip as most of the other days were overcast. Some points that may be helpful.
-The space Needle is not as tall as you would expect but a great never the less
- there is a nice cafe / bar upstairs and except for canned beverages, pretty moderately priced.
- there is no time limit on how long you can stay up on the needle but there is a price difference based on that time you go up. So plan accordingly
Becky Noyes
The Space Needle was a pretty fantastic experience! It was awesome to get a bird's eye view of the surrounding area, including Mt. Rainier overlooking the city. I was rather impressed too that even with how busy it was, you could still generally find a nice place to get a good view.
Definitely don't go thinking you're just going to whirlwind through, give yourself some time to take in the sights and you'll have a fantastic time.
Nef M.
Came to the space needle for the first time since I was in Seattle for the day and I must say WOW!! The views are breathtaking. You can literally see all of Seattle from up there and stepping on the glass floor was very thrilling as you get that weird stomach feeling but it was worth it. Little pricey to get to the top but worth the experience. Loved it. Must visit place in Seattle Washington.
Stanley Wongus
Had a great time here! Rotating glass floor was a cool concept, and the views of the city was phenomenal. Liked how each neighborhood was quite distinguishable. Needle was not too high such that some buildings and places were too small to tell. Went on a nice sunny morning so that helped a lot too.
Joshua Thorpe
It's been on my bucket list for awhile. Once you buy your ticket you can stay up there as long as you want. The elevator up is very quick felt like it was less than a minute. The upper level gives great unrestricted views of the city. The lower level rotates, one revolution per hour. The elevator down goes half the speed. Which gives you a nice view coming down
Matthew Grant
Pretty cool experience and definitely Seattle's main attraction. I don't know if this will change, but if you don't book your tickets online (which I wasn't able to at the time), when you get there and book a ticket you have to reserve a time. The earlier the time, the cheaper the price. It will run you at least $35/adult.
You wait in line to ride the elevator to the top and once you get there, you get a beautiful panoramic view of the city. On the floor beneath, there's a rotating glass floor that supposedly rotates ever 15 minutes (it didn't while we were there). Overall, it was a worthwhile experience if you've never been, but I wouldn't voluntarily go back again.
Chris
Not bad for a cloudy afternoon, I arrived fifteen minutes before the reservation time and could get the lift without issues, actually I was the only one in the queue, staff are very friendly, the lift journey is very brief, the arrival is on the third floor of the top of the needle where there are bars and exit to the external terrace. For a rainy and cloudy day is not ideal but also not a waste of time, although a bit expensive. My favourite part was the first level (going downstairs two floor from where the elevator takes you), there is a more fancy bar with awesome cocktails where you can take a seat in a more private space, but you must book in advance. However, the best part is the rotating crystal floor, I would say a great value added to the experience. In overall it was better than expected, but the big missing part was lack of seats for those who buy a drink at the roof bars, plus the fact that the experience is too expensive for a rainy day, and they don't offer you any alternative (e.g. come the next day for half price, or something like that).
Josh Estus
A really cool and eye opening experience! We went mid week and as they opened there were some folks but not a ton. There wasn't a wait at all. On the walk up to the elevator, there are a few space needle facts and when you reach the elevator, you get the attendant with a blue tooth speaker giving you info. On the top you can walk around and see Seattle from a sky high view. I'd recommend for any tourist or local!
Jeremy Janus
Seattle is one of my favorite cities in the states and I love trying to see the city from different angles every time I am there. This is why I decided to finally go up and check out the Space Needle. The crowd was almost non-existent first thing in the morning which made it even more spectacular. The views from the top are top notch and the pictures you can get up here are amazing. I loved the way the reflections off of the glass below your feet interplayed wonderfully with the circular aspects of the Space Needle. The only time I felt uneasy was when I was looking down on the rotating glass. I got that pit in my stomach, so I stepped off of it and stopped looking down. That was just a personal experience though and I'm sure other people would love that aspect. I cannot recommend this view enough if you love Seattle and the downtown skyscraper views!
Sharon Doyle
The Space Needle has 2 observation decks and one of them has the worlds first and only glass revolving floor. The views of Seattle and Mt. Rainier are spectacular. There is also a restaurant on the same level with the glass revolving floor. The other observation deck has a bar too. This attraction is a must see.
DunDaDa Daaa
A MUST if you're visiting the Seattle area. I could seriously sit up there ALL DAY LONG! It's so peaceful and the views are breathtaking. There are things you can only see from the sky and it makes the experience so much more intimate. There's glass walls that allow for a great view and a rotating glass floor on the level down below. The photo opportunities are endless!! This experience will not disappoint!
The 3 B. Lockwins
It's definitely worth the visit. The line has plenty to view while you make your way up to the elevators - our favorite was the Lego space needle and spotting all the super heros on it. View at the top was great, loved how the surrounding roof tops even had art to enjoy from the top of the space needle. The gift shop was great too!
Kousum Salyvann
The experience of riding an elevator in a transparent elevator to the second floor where there is an impressive 360-degree view of Seattle and the surrounding mountains is incredible . It is worth going up on a clear day when visibility is good, i went there during the evening. There is also a restaurant up there which you can pre-book. There are stairs to the first floor and there is a revolving restaurant with a transparent floor. Cool experience in Seattle, highly recommend.
G Castro
If you're visiting Seattle, I think visiting the Space Needle is a must!
The views alone are beautiful!
Heads up, while in line, you'll reach a checkpoint where you can opt in for a photographer to take your photo before you head up at no cost. Then you can redeem the photo online and it comes with a cool backdrop of the city skyline. I thought it was a cool perk.
Tony C
Typical tourist thing, we went during the day and came back same night with same ticket. Great to see the city from such a height, a d from different times of the day. They serve snacks and drinks at the top. One floor rotates slowly around and you can book the restaurant if you want.
Karen H.
Wasn’t busy at all on a Tuesday evening. The Space Needle absolutely lived up to my expectations and more.
Especially the glass floor.
Beautiful view and the weather was perfect. Couldn’t see Mt. Rainier very well but seeing the city light up was great.
Ed Lewis
Loved here in the 90’s and didn’t go. Actually glad I waited since so much has changed in Seattle. It’s worth the trip up if you live here and very good if just passing through. There’s a lot to see and do in the area, much more than you can do in a few days. Pay the money and get the view. It is amazing.
Jackie Hildebrand
It was so easy and fast to get tickets, our time to go up was for 430, but we didn't get up there until about 5... so the timing was off. Once we got to the top, the cameras weren't working for the complimentary pics, the views made up for everything. So beautiful and perfect weather
Scott Crawford
Very impressive! Certainly a remarkable feat of engineering and worthy of the ticket price. Gift shops on the ground, remarkable views from the top, and a revolving restaurant. The Space Needle is also placed in a park with several other interesting attractions.
Ella Pieka
You have to purchase tickets in advance and there's a bit of a line wait to get up to the observation deck but it's definitely worth it. The views are truly incredible from there observation deck and the revolving glass floor deck. Once up, you can stay for as long as you want taking pictures or just sitting and looking at the views. They offer wine, beers, drinks, and snacks. There's a great gift shop and lots of historical facts listed in many places. Definitely a must do if you're in Seattle!!
Jake Burgess
Must see if you’re visiting Seattle!! The elevator ride is 41 seconds to the top! Very quick, but the view is amazing! I recommend buying your ticket in advance as the wait times can get pretty long! The free digital picture is a nice bonus souvenir. Don’t forget your camera.
Kameron Johnson
A must-see/do attraction in Seattle!
You can buy your tickets to visit online or in person. It is a timed entry due to COVID. The lines may look long to get in, but they move very quickly. Also while standing in line you get to learn some of the history of the Space Needle.
You board an elevator that exposes you to the city on the way to the top. Once at the top you have two options for exploring (observation deck and rotating glass floor). The observation deck gives you 360 views plus the glass leans outwards to give some thrill for those who love heights. If you take the stairs down you will get to the rotating glass floor. This level used to be the restaurant and now has been replaced with glass and rotates to give you a trill.
Recommend taking the light rail station from downtown to the Seattle Center to save on parking.

Great attraction! Great view of Seattle! Overview panorama of the whole city, district, mountain range, bay! Nice sightseeing tour. Souvenirs! Drinks are top notch! Recommend!👏👍 …
Srikanth Hegde
Great experience with going up in elevator to the viewing deck of space needle which gives a panoramic view of the city. A revolving platform with a glass flooring gives an excellent perspective of the height and the ground below. Long lines can be expected as this is an important tourist destination in the city. A photo at the beginning of the tour and a selfie point at the observation deck can give great impression of the place
Doris Huang
Iconic building in town, but we didn't buy the ticket and went inside to see it because there were too many people and I personally recommend going to Kerry Park if you want to take some nice pictures of the Space Needle.
The shuttle to hear from downtown is very convenient and quick. However, the smell of the stairs in the station is terrible.
CE Begay
Very cool! No time limit (that I know of), they have a small bar upstairs and they had a photographer that can take a photo of your group with your ticket. The view after sundown was quite the experience and also glass rotating floor. They offer discounts for military and WA residents. My only complaint is the app is very slow and not very user friendly.
George Antony
Parking is not very easy. Transit is easy. Tickets are easy to find. The view is spectacular. You can take a picture of yourself by sitting on a bench but it lags. So sit and don’t move too fast. Also the restaurant on the top is snooty. They don’t let kids in and try to imply that you must be daft for expecting kids to be in.
Daniel Perkins
I haven't been up there since I was a young lad. I took my friend from Brazil and we had a blast. They had beverages at the top for sale such as alcohol, coffee & sodas for the kids. They got rid of the restaurant on the lower level but they do still have a lounge. I don't recommend paying to get into the lounge I feel that is extraordinarily overpriced. But you do not have to pay for the lounge to get into the lower level you can go stand on the see-through rotating floor with just the general admission.
Marcus K
Amazing seeing this landmark in person. A great feat of architecture and amazing views. Good bar at the top to enjoy some cocktails and snacks. Many landmarks don’t live up to the hype but the Space Needle definitely does.
Jessica Arechiga
What a beautiful experience. The views were just beautiful. We went twice, in the morning, and at night. They have an observation deck on the top. On the second floor they have food and restrooms they also have a rotating floor made of glass , it's beautiful 😍 . Please like 👍 if it helps you. …

I’ve been coming here for years, but we recently came after the relatively recent renovations and I must say, they did a great job. The layout is much more functional and really geared towards people who want to take a 360 degree look around town. It’s best to go on a sunny day, especially in the summer because you’ll see much more activity out and about. If you’ve never been, and it’s your first time in Seattle, this should most definitely be on the list of things to do.
Wade Bricknell
Very interesting and high! Haha if you have vertigo hold on, it'll definitely make you steady yourself.
The upper floor is outdoors and great photos.
The floor below it is all indoors and rotates, so you can literally stand in one spot and you'll see a full 360° view of the skyline.
It takes roughly 30 minutes to do a full revolution.
There are lockers on site that are free for the first hour or two.
No drones allowed, so don't take them with you ,otherwise they'll make you head back and store them in the lockers.
I enjoyed it here, staff were cordial too.
Maria
It is quite the trip up to the top of the Space Needle! It’s quick- so quick you feel it in your stomach a bit. Heights are not so pleasant for my family & I but we wouldn’t have wanted to miss the opportunity. So, we did it! It took some adjusting to be comfortable enough to walk out on the rotating glass floor but so worth it. The views are breathtaking- fear of heights or not, take the trip up!
Isa Layton
We have visited the space needle twice, back in 2019 and now in 2022. We love Seattle and the space needle is a must! So fun and great views, the moving glass floor is a bit scary but so much fun. I recommend getting the Seattle city pass or the double pass to go up in the daytime and nighttime. There's much less people at night, much more relaxing, the lights and city view is amazing and you can enjoy a drink before heading out to town. Don't forget to get a souvenir and the free photos!
Gagan N Kangovi
Great views of Seattle! The rotating floor is fun too. It is 1HP powered rotating transparent floor and you can see right below. Has a nice little gift shop too.
Tim M
In New Zealand we have the Sky tower. Seattle has the space needle. The space needle is better. Absolutely great view. Love how you can also walk around outside. Some places tonhave a drink while up the top. Fully recommended.
Jonas Fuchs
A very cool experience visiting this Seattle icon. The queue can get very big but you can stay entertained reading about the compelling history of the tower's construction. Fantastic feat of engineering.
Nandakishore KV
Visit to this Space Needle is a must for any visitor to Seattle. Very tall unique structure having high speed glass window elevators, viewing deck and revolving platform . One can see entire Seattle City and neighboring places from the viewing deck. Great experience to see ships, boats, mountains, roads, buildings etc from very top. At the ground floor is Gift Shops selling souvenirs of Space Needle from replica of tower to clothes etc. Overall a great experience.
Luke Ashton
Amazing experience and a must if visiting! First trip to Seattle and won't be the last! The revolving glass floor was scary but exciting. Lovely choice of souvenirs and friendly staff. Thank you
A G
I love going and seeing the city and this is my first time going up since they added the glass floor and that was awesome! I had a great time and it was a cloudy but beautiful day looking over puget sound. And they took pictures that were included in our tickets! Also super neat and a good memory
Jennifer Cleary
Beautiful views from the top. The wait wasn't terribly long and there was a lot of information provided for you as you stood in the line. The glass was angled out so you could have a better view of the city below you. If you suffer from vertigo, just don't go so close to the edges! The brave can get a pretty cool picture leaning out though!!
Brandon Barrett
Had a lot of fun at the Space Needle. The weather wasn't great but it cleared up enough that we had decent visibility. Even if we didn't it still would have been a good time. I came once before around 1990 and the upgrades really are impressive. The Loupe where you can look down through the revolving glass floor was a great idea. With our timed tickets we really didn't have much of a wait to get to the top. The flow was very well managed.
Sneha W. Singh
It’s a great view of the city. The elevator ride up the top, gives you a rush while coming back is alright.
The views are mesmerizing from the top. The history about the build and about the space needle is amazing.
andy a
Great experience, the rotating glass floor was awesome. If you look around you can find some spiders hanging out. There's a huge Lego display. And lots of cool things to see and learn.
Freddie C
Great experience going to the Space Needle for the first time. The entrance is outside not inside the gift shop I didn’t realize until the staff member let me know were to go. And strollers are not permitted to enter must be left park by the entrance. Overall great time and memories. Bought some cool souvenirs to bring back home.
Martina Pavlíková
I didn't google much about this observation deck before going there and it surprised me in many ways - the elevator ride, the view, a free photo, shape of the balcony, the moving part, etc.. - it was fantastic and very entertaining. The price is fair. I recommend going there aproximately one hour before sunset and spend there some time so you can enjoy both the day and night view.
David Wiese
Lot's of fun and a must for a trip to Seattle. Make sure to go to the lower floor that has some glass floor. Even if you don't stand on it, it is cool to see. You can also see how it was built before you get on the elevator with a bunch of interactive informational poster boards. You can see a lot of the city. If you are going on a Cruise, you can see the dock from the tower.
Kris W
Fun attaction in Seattle and pretty iconic if you think about it. Get the combo package with Chihuly glass museum next door. Both are great! Buy tickets from the self service machines at the bottom of the needle. Line looks long, but goes fast. You can pick your time slot. They have a great system of getting people up and down. Fun interactive history board lessons of the needles building process to look at on the wall while waiting in line to go up. Awesome view on the top floor!! Glass floor right below it. Grab a pint of Seattle Cider cider up top at the bistro while enjoying the views. They have wine and beer too.
Desirea Navarro
Iconic Space Needle, with Iconic views. A must for anyone visiting Seattle, I have to admit it took me 15+ years to finally visit. Worth it.
Went on a Sunday around 2:00pm and there was no wait. Definitely want to come back and check out the Loop Lounge.

It was a beautiful, clear night. You may have been here before say in years. Gotta come back they now have the revolving glass floor. It was a nice experience. The city view on the right and sunset on the left was awesome!
They have areas on the space needle where you can drink and eat. Parking a bit tricky, many side road parking. Can spend about 2 or more hours in here.
ashika joshi
After the remodeling, this place has 360 degree view and now you can take a good pic without any obstacles. Revolving glass floor is both amazing and scary !!! Should visit here on a clear sunny day ! Keep an eye out for free pictures taken by professional photographer ! Worth the visit on a sunny day !!!
moxievegan
OMG this experience was wonderful! Spent memorable moments at 605ft. Standing over clear a glass floor as it rotated was exciting. Watched the sunset from the top floor. Must do experience if you're not afraid of heights. I recommend buying the ticket packet at the local Costco. You get tickets for two for the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens (located next door) Plus gift cards to use in the gift shops.
Samuel Liddicott
The Space Needle is a unique experience and should not be missed.
Offering fantastic views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound the Space Needle is a must see on any visit to Seattle. Recently remodeled, visitors now have expanded views from the large glass panels that hang at a 540° angle, and access to the rotating observation deck that was once the restaurant.
The gift shop has something did every budget.
Bathrooms are clean. Staff are very helpful.
Gets busy. Always book in advance.
Would personally recommend going around sunrise or sunset hours for the most dramatic skies.
Mandi Schmidtke
Came here with my sister for my birthday. I'm from Canada! We had so much fun we stayed for a long time. Everyone was helpful and kind. The bar tender at the top filled everyone's glasses to the brim 🥳 even the other guests were mindful of everyone's space and picture taking experiences. We went at sunset which I highly recommend! …
Luis Gerardo Baeza
It's better when you have a clear sky cause you can actually enjoy the city skyline. I recommend to buy tickets for afternoon around 6pm so you can view the sunset, which is greatly appreciated from up there. There is a coffee shop inside.
Trevor Heron
The space needle is a must-do in Seattle if you want to do touristy things. I recommend getting there as soon as it opens so it is not jammed packed; there are only 2 elevators so it can take a while to get down, especially if you are feeling nauseous. Just be prepared to spend a lot on tickets as they can add up quickly.
Pro tip for people with kids:
There is a nice little park right by the space needle so if you need to kill some time before your reservation, here is a good place to go.
Jay Finesilver
It was quite touristy worth checking out good views from the top. The timed entry helped keep the crowds manageable. I didn't love it, it was OK.
Felipe & Valerie Montalvan
Worth the money and the trip here from California! Definitely best to buy your tickets in advance. We chose to go at 6:30pm but wish we had selected for later so we could have watched the beautiful sunset. Next time for sure!
Rhonda Evans
This was a great experience for my first time visiting Seattle! I loved that they had the history of the Space Needle on the walls to read at our leisure. Plus, the views were spectacular and it was pretty cool how it was turning while so far up in the air. Definitely a special experience.
Carol Mackin
Amazing views of Seattle. Ticket for individual adult was $35 - can get other joint tickets or discounts. It's a quick elevator ride up - you get assigned a time.
Definitely recommend at least visit once. There's the top observation floor with outside area and glass divider - has benches and few spots to take pictures (if program is working). There is also area inside with some seating and station to get small snacks or drinks.
Floor underneath slowly rotates 360 and you can see through glass floor to ground. It's a neat experience - moderately nerve-wracking, but it's very solid. If want to visit restaurant there have to make separate reservations ($$$).
Kaitlin Kramer
Iconic Seattle tourist experience! Rotating floor was cool. Took about 30-40 min to get up and could spend another 45-60 min up there and descending! I would’ve had a drink on the rotating bar if I knew! Pricey but what do you expect!
Kelsey D
The elevator is surprisingly very fast to get you to the top. The view is astonishing! I loved that I could be up there as long as I wanted. Definitely bring a jacket cause it's chilly up there. We got a lot of fun pictures and enjoyed the thrill of the height. We wanted to eat at the restaurant, but it is WAY EXPENSIVE! It was $81/person TO START! Most of the pricing is close to $200 for the restaurant. You cannot bring in food or drinks.
Margaret Roslik
Its the Space Needle. It's super cool. We only had one day in Seattle so we hit up the big named stuff; the Needle, Chihuily Gardens, and the Public Market. It's cool that they have a monorail connecting the two areas. We got tickets ahead of time via Expedia. We were told that traffic would be bad and parking very difficult to find and expensive but we must have gone at the right time. We didn't have any issues finding parking right across from the Needle and there was no traffic. We exchanged our vouchers for our tickets in no time and went right up. It was not crowded at all and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted on the outdoor observation deck as well as the moving floor. The views are fantastic and the history of the Needle is amazing - very cool learning about the speed at which they built it and the visitors it had when it opened for the World's Fair. Plan to spend about 1-1.5 hours at the Needle if you like taking pictures. The views are phenomenal.
Chris Clark
Buy your tickets at the kiosk and skip waiting in line. Keep the weather in mind for your visit.
Wonderfully engaging set up. Two observation decks, one external and the other internal (revolving with glass floor). Vertigo kicked in for me and it took a bit of courage to step out!
Tour the gift shop, there's neat stuff! Explore the grounds too!
Brandi Breslin
As expected, excellent views. I appreciated the historical/educational displays, but the slowly moving glass floor was disappointing and not as interesting as you might think. Overall the admission was much higher than worthwhile, especially considering there was also a $22 parking fee.
Niki Dupras
Wow! The views were amazing! Staff were so friendly and very knowledgeable. I love that you can grab a drink or to and sit down and enjoy the view. Gift shop is nice as well!
Anson Byun
Though the tickets are pricey, the attraction is clean and well-maintained. Staff are all polite and helpful. The views, especially at sunset, can be really very beautiful depending on where you stand on the observation deck. It can also get crowded during peak hours.
Kiven Te
Beautiful observation deck. If you're going to Seattle I recommend it if you're not afraid of heights. On top you can go outside and enjoy the view and the breeze. It was around $40 when we went but personally I think the greater value is if you combine it with the glass museum ($60-70)
Patricia K
Tourist attraction
This was a treat for the family. There is a gift shop on the bottom floor and a snack bar on the top floor.
It is basically all about the view. The kids enjoyed themself and we got in some selfies. After that, there isn't much else. You can get some pretty cool photos of the city from up there and on a clear day can see Mt Rainier.
cody whittington
It’s very needly. Certainly spacey. Even better, you can buy a beer at the top of it!
Worth the price of admission. Be sure to take time and read up on the history before you get tot he elevator.
Also, the added value of free photos you can download.
Aidan Cusa
The views from the top are soo cool!! If you go in at 6:45 PM there is no line at all and you will be able to witness the insane views with a sunset in the background. Water is a little expensive at the top at $6 a bottle (no drinks allowed inside either) but I mean it’s a super big tourist attraction so it’s kinda what you’re signing up for.. the glass rotating floor is very neat and the elevator up has some funny yet informative commentary in it!!
Martyb2525
The top of the space needle is great fun! Incredible view of the city and surrounding area from the top and the rotating glass floor is a trip. If visiting Seattle then this is no doubt a must do 👍👍’s

Okay, so you are in Seattle and there is this monument that you have to do. Price was a little steep at $35+ but my 13 yo son and I took the plunge anyway. It was quick to get up and down and really about one hour worth of fun. I'm glad I did it, but don't feel I need to do it again. Great views, nice pictures and everyone was nice exchanging photo shots with each other. Gave it 4 stars due to the cost as really one hour is all you need.
Brea Black
There are amazing views from the space needle. The staff did a great job of moving people in the right direction. I live in Washington and it was my first time up, I'm glad I saw but would be okay if I didn't go up again. The ticket are pricey, even if you factor in a City Pass.
JonnyBeoulve
After five years of living in the Seattle area I finally decided to visit the space needle. I was under the impression that it's an overrated tourist attraction and that it might not be worth the cost. Boy was I wrong. The view is absolutely stunning, and the experience is even better than it sounds. I was especially thrilled with the floor that has a spinning disc, and ended up standing on it enough for a full rotation (30 minutes?). There is also a camera guy who was walking around and made an effort to drive conversation with us and took photos that turned out great. All the staff were friendly and although there was a long line to go up, the elevators are quick.
gina baldwin
Nov 2022 - we paid $35 general admission and $26 for our 9 year old. if ever in Seattle, this is a must see tourist spot for sure! breathtaking views of the city.
Mehroj Muhiddinov
I recently visited the Space Needle in Seattle, and it was an amazing experience. I've always been fascinated by the iconic structure and its place in Seattle's skyline, so I was excited to finally make the journey there. 🥰
I was sad that I didn't get the chance to experience the view from the top, but I can only imagine how amazing it must be. I'm sure I'll be back soon to get the full experience. All in all, I had an amazing time visiting the Space Needle, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind. ✨✊🏼
Shan Bryant
Beautiful view. Expensive on it's own, but a great added value to a tour. Fun free selfies at the top. Staff was entertaining. Elevator is quick and efficient. Loved the rotating floor! Great gift shop with reasonable prices.
Jerusha Chua
Worth a visit if it's your first time in the city! We got the Chihuly glass museum pass + Space needle ticket bundle for $58 ish after taxes, so you save about $10.
The ride up takes less than a minute. It wasn't too crowded on the Sunday we visited. 360 degree views of the city, plus there's a second level with a revolving floor.
Yaya Ku
Absolutely falling in love with Seattle after visiting the Space Needle. Although it is really luck dependent, meaning that the weather basically dominates the experience. But I’m attaching some of my pictures here that show how amazing the view was when it’s clear sky. The photo service is also very cool. We thought the green screen and post PS is gonna be a disaster. But! The pictures turned out to be pretty cool. I definitely think the ticket price was totally worthy.
Jin H Mun
Visited around 7:10 pm. Perfect time to see the beautiful sun-set and tweaking Seattle building lights on the top of this iconic tower. Better than expectation for sure.
Kari Beaudoin
Beautiful views. Friendly welcoming staff. A must see for anyone visiting Seattle for the 1st time or simply looking to make some beautiful memories.
(Gotta love my girlfriend who took photos of me photography the sunset)
Anastassia Kazakova
Incredible! Lovely views and experience. Go when the sun is setting and the light is golden. You can enjoy beer or a wine during sunset
Amber Joseph
Good views of the city and surrounding
Hopefully you get a clear day. During our visit an elevator was down so caused extra long wait times to leave the building. Obviously is an iconic place so a must see
K F
Great place to visit. Great views of the city and Mount Rainier.
Pick a day that James, the elevator operator is off. He was extremely rude to several members of our party. He obviously hates his job.
Jared Gudnason
Worth the visit once. It's an expensive and crowded elevator ride to the top. View is nice over the bay. Very busy. It feels like it's age, it's an old building and it shows. Very limited space for cafe, and the drink bar had a sum totally of 6 seats. Had a look at the restaurant quickly while up there. 200 a head is a wee bit steep.
If you have ever been to the Calgary tower, the space needle has a similar vibe.
Daisy Guerrero
Love the views of the space needle! The tickets for the night we went were 35 pp. You ride up on an elevator to get to the top and there are 2 floors. One floor gives you access to the outdoor section and the floor below has a rotating glass floor. They do have bars inside and have a variety of drinks.
Stella Wei
Worth a visit. They also limit the amount of people per time slot so it's not overly crowded at the top. You also get a free digital photo as well. Be sure to purchase the combo ticket with chihuly garden to get a discount.
Mario Modica
The needle is a well oiled machine, with staff well drilled to keep the momentum of visitors in check. Great view of Seattle from the top with plenty of photo opportunities.
We also visited the gardens with its blown glass exhibition and this was the highlight. Outstanding craftsmanship from Dale Chilhuly.
Amanda Garcia
Can’t visit Seattle for the first time and not check out its most famous structure! Be prepared for a long line outside if you go in the summer! We saw the line wrapping around and going out past the entrance to said line and decided to spring for the Blast Pass to bypass the general line as we had to make a 3 hour drive back home. No clue how quickly the general line moves but the Blast Pass was worth the extra $$ to not stand in the sun for the elevators.
The view is breathtaking at the top! It is crowded though, and they will shove as many people that can fit in the elevators as possible so if germs aren’t your thing, be prepared. It’s nice that there is a cafe and a couple bars up top if you plan on taking your time. The rotating floor is neat for sure (and definitely a bit scary). They stopped allowing people to go back down from the upper floor elevators and were sending us down to the rotating floor which got backed up quickly and was hard to stay in line when the floor was moving away from the elevator but otherwise it was super easy.
The gift shop was perfect for souvenirs, bathrooms were all clean, and overall the experience was fun.
Terry Chien
up to install the elevator. The elevator will go to the observation deck first. It is 360 degrees and you can watch different scenery. You can also go to the next floor, which is an automatic rotating viewing platform, and sells some drinks and meals.
Ivy G
Amazing experience for all ages. The elevator ride to the top is pretty cool. The top observation deck was pretty awesome and provides an excellent place for pictures with the Seattle skyline, the lower floor revolves and it’s pretty cool looking through the glass floor.
D C
I can’t believe it took me this long to fit this gem into one of my many trips to Seattle in the past 20 years. I thought it was a little pricey, but it was worth it to me. We decided to make the trip complete with a cold beer overlooking Seattle. The revolving glass floor was impressive. Don’t miss it.
Jordan Cheek
A very pleasant experience! The staff has everything worked out, you just simply walk right up. No waiting on a Saturday morning visit and everyone was friendly. Check out the spinning glass floor deck, very cool!
Chandra Fleming
I love coming here! We wish you could still dine at the top like back in the day, but it is nice that they have done a lot to keep it going it accessible for everyone. Beautiful views!
Hitesh Parmar
Must visit place if you are in Seattle or planning to see places here. This is one of the best attraction and everyone including kids will enjoy the experience.
We booked the evening slot in November 22 purposely and witnessed a breathtaking sky view of Seattle. Attached pics here. Always book tickets online and plan to reach on time.
There is a rotating deck restaurant at the top where you can have the best time eating with your loved ones.
Valet parking is available.
Heidy Amaro
Very cute and fun attraction. There's also a little cafe to buy coffee or tea, it was a beautiful view for sure. Nice staff too. Not bad for $39 for spending however long you'd like up there.
Victoria Lee
The pricing is too high just to see the view the top and not going to the restaurant/cafe there. The ticket just gets you to the top without including the restaurant or cafe so be prepared to get extra money if you want something there. The pricing for the meals are also expensive so beware. You can see the pricing details/plans by the ticket booth outside the Space Needle store. The area is not that clean for the restrooms(dirty wet floor, few seats kinda broken) aside for a modern sensor sink. I wish there was more interaction about the history at the top since there is nothing there except a view, resturant, and cafe. The area is also very crowded and who knows if anyone is truly vaccinated as they do not check it so beware if anyone is sick there. I saw someone cough very badly and was disappointed that this sick person doesn't wear a mask for the other non mask people here. The only good thing I can say about here is the view. It is worth the view here than the Great Wheel.
Peter Carlesimo
Dropped like a giant Google location-pin it marks out the heart of the Seattle Center and all of the great things that can be seen there.
This iconic symbol of Seattle celebrates 60-years-young this April.
The forward-thinking 1962 World’s Fair celebrated The Age of Space during its classic “Century 21 Exposition.”
Xochitl Castaneda
This is the icon of Seattle. I live here so I drive past the space needle daily. I really enjoyed my recent visit. The views are incredible especially on sunny days. The floor rotates and it's cool to see the ground slowly rotate. There is a bar if you want to have an adult beverage while you're up there. The Seattle center will keep you entertained, don't rush your visit, take your time and enjoy the ambiance. There is street performances, vendors, food and the international fountain and so much more.
Yo Mama
Line can be long depending on the days & hrs. Buy ur tickets ahead online. You can get to the place by car or take the one of only few monorails left in U.S. from downtown. The view is pretty good & there’s also a small cafe & restrooms up there.
Anusha R E
Enjoyed my visit to the 360 degree viewing deck around sunset time. It was a chilly evening and the crowds were relatively low. Rotating floor is one level below the 360 degree observatory deck. Cafe was open but You need reservations if you want to sit down and enjoy the menu offerings at the lounge. But the combo ticket to the space needle plus Chihuly garden and glass to save a few bucks.
Chris Towers
Always amazing and do much fun! History abounds with the needle and the world's fair from the 1960s! Standing at the top and overlooking the Seattle area is amazing and breathtaking. Considering you could stay at the top all day on the same ticket makes the price pretty reasonable. The gift shop has some pretty cool gifts and good prices if you know what you are looking for.
Lillian Negron
I had a awesome time! If your scared of heights this will be it for you haha. They have glass that are leaning a bit so it was pretty scary for me to look down. Highly recommend to look at the beautiful view. My children enjoyed it!
Cali Chesterman
A must-see for anyone experiencing/visiting the Pacific Northwest for the first time. Breathtaking view of the ocean, mountains, and city, all in one circle. I love the rotating floor. Unique experiences for daytime and nighttime.
Comparably, the gift shop is reasonably priced for a tourist attraction and I walked out with some quirky gifts (for myself) such as a mini space needle, a fidget Space Needle spinner (lol), a LGBT+ winter hat, and some quirkys 60s cartoon Space Needle magnets.
Arron Burgess
One of my favourite things in Seattle, everything clean, well organised, friendly staff and brilliant views of the city.
Great info on the Needle on way in and views up to the top, free digital photos too were a bonus.
Gift shop huge with a cool plastic injection moulding machine from the 69’s making plastic Space Needles to take home.
Food at the top looked nice, we only had drinks but they were pretty expensive, $6 for a water, but they also had free water from a machine which was very good to know.
kat
You have to go at least once! Such a fun experience! Huge gift shop, a lounge with fantastic drinks, and all the views you could ask for!
Federico Hernández
The space needle has always been a good place to visit, but the new renovations are great. I like the space needle even more. Everything is now made of glass and the selfie/photo they have in place system is very good and it's free!
Luis Diaz
Iconic building that is intertwined with Seattle's reputation. The outside viewing deck provides amazing views of downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay. Gift shop is stocked with reasonably priced memorabilia. Must visit if you're in Seattle!!
Shelby McLoughlin
I did the city pass, which includes going to the space needle twice within 24hrs so you have the opportunity for day and evening views. You get a complimentary picture that you download with your ticket and you can change your background setting. There are a few areas selling adult beverages, a few selfie areas where you scan your ticket and it takes a picture for you outside. There's also a rotating glass floor indoors.
Bloggy Z
What an iconic building! It still looks great after 60y of being Seattle's pride at the Universal Expo. It was recently renovated and is super clean and radiant. The view from the top is great ofc but I thought the lower viewing floor was actually better!
Eleanor Wallace
Fun. Super great views of city, water and mountains.
Ticket includes green screen photo with downloadable backdrops. There is a selfie with skyline also included.
Two levels -- open air top, snacks available. 1 floor down is rotating with glass floor and restaurant.
Marcia Andrews
Great place to visit. The skyline view absolutely gorgeous. Relax and have yourself a beer and enjoy the vista. You can also enjoy their musical garden. Highly recommend great for a family vacation spot.

When making plans ...definately plan outfits accordingly! Lighter outfits at night and color during the day. Solids work best from head to toe, to not compete with stunning background. A little ✨️ doesn't hurt!
+ The glass floor is so much fun...bring dancing shoes...you won't regret it!!
Marilyn Schiff
Space Needle was breathtaking and views were better than Eifle Tower. I loved all the strong glass around entire top where benches were placed and great photo ops. At the top inside there's plenty of viewing areas to sit at and even a wine bar where we enjoyed a glass while taking in the views. So glad we prebooked this attraction.
Samir Abt
You better not be afraid of heights; it was an amazing experience being able to take a look at the Seattle area from that height. My first couple steps on the moving glass, and my legs just started shaking 😑 then it gets better afterward. …
J Lee
We went in Aug2022. There uses to be a cool restaurant at the to but it’s closed or gone now. They do have a small bar with tapas.
Photographers bring your camera and enjoy Seattle from every angle.
Sheena Nessly
Local love even. I brought a friend here from Texas. Not only was she completely weirded out by the tilted glass walls on the top outdoor deck, but then you go to the turning deck with the glass floor. It's an awesome experience and an amazing view of Seattle from atop the clouds!! Oh and in the gift shop there is a giant lego model of the space needle. So neat to see all the Lego people inside the top just like we were!
Katherine Richardson
It was awesome from the elevator ride all the way to both decks. Tip: lines get long as sunset approaches so get in early. You can stay as long as you want.It gets crowded later in the evening so for the best pictures get there early. Golden hour photos are great.
Priscilla Hart
When I saw the Space Needle up close I was amazed. The elevator ride going to the top was fun and the view was spectacular. There’s an area inside where you can see through the floor below and it rotates slowly.
Robert Wagner
While in Seattle everyone should experience the space needle at least once. It's not hard to get to and it's a nice clean place to go and view the great City of Seattle and relax. You can get snacks, beer, water, pop, and wine at the top. Bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.
James Naismith
I have vertigo so I was pretty nervous. However so glad I did. We went at 1930 to get both day and night. I would say best time since you get a two for. The revolving glass floor created for me an optical illusion. The floor seemed to move opposite to the real world. It’s a must if you visit.
dani shemesh
Really great view of th city, the bay an th lake.
You should order tickets ahead since the limit the number per hour an you don't want to hang around for 3 hours as we did to until your slot arrives.
The line to the elevator is about 20 minutes, but you have posters that explains about the construction.
Up at the top the view is really great. And the glass floor is cool.
There is a gift store at the bottom and in weekends a nice market in the adjacent garden.
You should buy a combined ticket with the adjacent Chihuly museum.
KyLee Productions
Great experience!
There’s only one restaurant location to eat/drink and you have to make a reservation at the Loope Lounge which opens up bookings on Monday morning. They are all booked up within the first 24 hrs so don’t wait.
John Gilmore
This was a wonderful experience to do and nothing like I remembered as a child. The gift shop is reasonable and the ride to the top didn't take all that long and offers probably the best views of the city .
Cat Cosby
We really enjoyed our time. The staff was so friendly and matched our energy. For someone's first time it was a great experience. We went at dusk 🌇 and it was so beautiful. It was a bit crowded so it was hard to take photos but it was all worth it. …
Azhar Malik
The icon of Seattle! It is a must-visit if you’re in the city. The entire experience from the elevator to the outdoor observatory level to the revolving glass floor is amazing. During my visit sadly the revolving section was closed for a private event and I had no choice but to go up as it was the last day of my CityPASS, but the hospitality department (shoutout to Jennifer) of Space Needle was kind enough to give me complimentary tickets for another day when that section was open as well. It was WORTH the price as you get beautiful 360° views of Seattle
Kruti Gupta
Spectacular views, rotating floor is amazing and fun. Read the construction details and space needle facts during your wait time. The observation deck is great. You get free photographs with your ticket, there are cameras on the top floor, don't miss them 📸 …
Ruta Desai
Nice 360 degree view of seattle with all the mountain ranges around! Usually cheaper to bundle this with the Chihuly glass museum visit, the museum is just next to it. There is a bar and snack shop at the deck. Sunsets are beautiful from here!
Lee Griffiths
Really great experience. I would recommend going for sundown on a clear day if possible, it’s fantastic watching the sun go down and lights come on. See pics
Angel Beltre
Breath taking views.
This is a well known attraction in Seattle, WA. I am not sure if it is in the top of my list of attractions still, but certainly enjoyed going through the experience, learning it’s history, learning who built it, and most importantly enjoying the views.
Nick Bessette
This is my wife and I first trip to Seattle. We had purchased a city pass and one of the sites included was the Seattle Space Needle. We had gone up just before sunset and stayed until nightfall , honestly it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
Ketan Jethwa
Fun experience, don't do the overpriced lounge experiences, they offer no better views and are sectioned off by a shoulder level barrier from the rest of the general admission. I'm glad we opted to not do the overpriced option. Tons of fun!
Lisa Abraham
The Space needle is a unique structure with awesome views. It really helped that we took time to read the story boards and got the history behind the attraction. The bar set up is wonderful for just enjoying the scene. Lots of space to look outside and to take pictures from the outdoor areas. Friendly helpful staff.
HeracrossB0ss
Visiting Seattle was awesome. You can see the space needle from so many different spots. But nothing is more fun than going to the top and looking through the glass bottom floor.
Sean Lee
Came right as the sun was setting and lights were starting to turn on throughout the city. Great views all around! Would definitely recommend visiting during this time.
Aqeel Khamisani
Great experience, breathtaking views from the observation deck. Loved revolving deck as well
I was very disappointed to learn that strollers are not allowed in the building. How are we supposed to bring / manage younger children? If your building is wheel accessible then it should also be accessible to strollers. You may disallow large strollers and have generic ones to rent if that matters to you. This is such a basic thing. My experience was cut short due to this and I couldn’t thoroughly enjoy my time at the needle.
Being it Seattle’s major attraction, this was a major let down. I expected better.
Brandon Bauer
Amazing experience once you get to the top. I went during the beautiful 4th of july weekend so we did end up waiting in line for about 40 mins. That was my only complaint. The rotating 2nd floor with the Glass floor was a heart racing experience. Nothing like staring 500 feet straight down! Grab a drink to ease your nerves at the onsite bars. Got my tickets at the Kiosk so we could pick a time based on how many people were there. Highly recommended!
Joe Aiello
Went to but not in or up. Busy but his Monday morning. Too crowded for my comfort. There is a lot to explore in the park complex. Sitting by the fountain people watching was fun. It’s fun watching people have fun.
Andrea Rios
An experience. I visited in September, there was a good amount of people. The elevator workers weren’t very friendly but I only saw them like a minute. You have to sardine it up and down the space needle. I’m not sure why it’s so expensive, you literally just look and then spend more money in the shop and cafe at the top 🤷🏻♀️. They do provide a free digital picture.. The view is astounding, on a good day you can see Mt. Rainer. I was not able to since it was cloudy. The bottom floor is pretty cool, it’s a glass floor that rotates. Scares the heckins outta me but it was cool to see.
Michael Kaplan
Iconic attraction that every visitor of Seattle must to experience. Amazing observation deck with glass walls and 360 degrees view of Seattle. Take a picture with mount Rainier sits on top of your shoulders.
Gloria List
We had an opportunity to stop and visit the Space Needle and see the beautiful views over looking Seattle. History stories and pictures line the wall as you made your way to the elevator. Once you were at the top there was a rotating floor to look down through the glass. Great place for taking photos with family and friends. Follow me for more reviews
Jackie Lee
When you visit Seattle, The Seattle Space Needle is A MUST VISIT with some spectacular views of Seattle; you will have some breathtaking views. Also, a must-see activity is to visit the rotating floor that gives you a complete view of Seattle in about 45 minutes. The next time I go to the Space Needle, I want to try and experience the restaurant they have there. I think it'll make the Space Needle even more of a positive vibe of the Space Needle.
Chakri Sunadham
As a tourist you just have go check it out, it’s a must interesting facts are sprinkled when you enter the place and people would be delighted to check this place. Great view of the city of Seattle from a top of the building and the pacific and the port as well.
LLL
During 2018, i couldn’t see anything cause it was under construction. But they finally finished!!!!! It was so pretty and so much fun. If you would like to eat the branch on top, go to their website and book it! Definitely the best view you will gets while having some food. Love this place and always will be coming back
Cecilia Teixeira
Definitely a “must do”, specially if the weather is good.
You may buy the ticket combined with the Chihuly Garden in order to have a discount on admission.
The experience was absolutely perfect.
Wei Hsu
The most famous landmark in Seattle! It was worth the money and the wait! The view is gorgeous… you can see the whole City Seattle. There’re some foods and drinks that you can buy on the top of Space Needle.
Anu Pandey
Seattle’s must see!!
695 feet tall, Revolving glass floor, Tilting glass benches leaning over the city revealing 360 degree beautiful city views! What’s not to like about this Amazing place! It can get crowded sometimes but it is still a definitely a ‘must do “ in the city
Mark N
Obviously the iconic Space Needle is pretty awesome! There are 2 levels at the top, one that is outdoors with glass all around and another that rotates. The rotating level also has a glass floor, which freaks out a lot of people. The views are tremendous and on a clear day you can see My Rainier in the background.
This is not to miss if you're visiting.
Carrie Clark
Took the family and the only way to do this is getting the city pass! You get to go up the space needle twice in 24 hrs and with a normal ticket you only get to go up once. With the city pass you get to choose 3 other attractions so all together we chose to do the zoo (which was terrible) , the aquarium , the harbor tour, space needle once in the morning and once at night! And then the pop culture museum which is AMAZING!
Judy McConnell
Fun place to visit. Great views of Seattle. We bought the day and night pass. There are several museums and a play ground for the kids walking distance from the Space Needle.
Asher Jacob
The space needle definitely deserves the hype. Its such a breathtaking view of the city, and the bars on top are a nice touch. I love that all the pictures that are taken of you in top are complimentary. Loved it
Tamara gray
Enjoyed the view, able to see a large view of the city being that we went to the top and were a little over 600 feet in the air. The glass floor was amazing!
Brandon Kaiser
It's been a childhood dream come true to finally experience the Space Needle. A little advice though ... don't watch the movement-stationary junction too long, you may experience vertigo like I did. Otherwise, the 1962 World's Fair built a still magnificent attraction.
Naimul Islam
Beautifully designed and well maintained tower. We loved the tour around the needle and the Birdseye view around the great Seattle city.
Ashwin Gadupudi
It is definitely not the tallest building in downtown seattle but it does have a pretty great view. There is a restaurant and bar all the way at the top. The disc rotation is something unique to space needle. Overall had a great time and would definitely recommend.
William Doherty
Definitely not a place for people with a fear of heights. If you want to go i would go earlier in the morning because the lines get way long. We went at about 2:40pm and it was packed, some of the wait is outside but most of it is inside and it has the history of thee the building on it and how long it took. Elvis Presley went there on a dinner date i think. People were blocking it and i just saw Elvis there with a lady. Then you follow the line to a photo that you can get for free, just ask, then the line will lead you to a elevator. Then from there your figure it out. It fun for the whole family, we all had a blast. Again HEIGHTS!
Brianna Saucier
Beautiful views! Can see Mount Ranier and Mount Olympus in the distance. recommend timing it so you can see the sunset because it’s stunning. Rotating floor was also really cool. There is a small cafe on the top you can get chicken tenders, hotdogs, etc and was surprisingly really good. You get to experience the view and enjoy a meal for a much better price than doing The Lounge. And don’t rush through the experience :) find a spot to sit and just take it all in bc too many rush through. Gift shop is a huge tourist trap but you can get postcards for cheap
Joe Xie
Great place to visit. Only stay in Seattle very short amount of time. This place very nice to hangout for little bit. There is good view of Seattle downtown.
Liliana Lau
It's so busy, we waited in line more than am hour, so confusing they have one line than is two line than one line, not really organized but it's worthy that wait. Once you are in the elevator you will feel the thrill and as soon as you walk outside the view is spectacular, amazing 👏 you will love it …
Saba Z
100% worth to go up.
You can have a drink with a view and enjoy the lower level that moves. Even on a weekend it was not super crowded and we took pictures easily.
Noel Quizon
I highly recommend to go to the iconic Space Needle. Best place to view downtown Seattle. If you like to go to museums, Chihuly museum is just right next door... You'll like it!
Richard A. Charlemagne
Amazing experience. It's a great location. They have the top deck and just below is the revolving glass floor. Just remember to show your vaccination card at the green box to get wrist band and then form entry line. We had formed line twice. They have 2 free photos the Santa at the revolving and at the entry of elevator.
Corey Hailey
Ok let's face it this one of the main places you think of when you think of Seattle. If your a tourist this is a must. Especially when you know the history behind it that makes it so much more interesting.
But theres def an amazing view at the top. And a portion of it that even revolves! There's also a bar and cafe at the top as well. And the glass on the elevator is see through on the way up! So styrene towards the front of you want to see that view
Highly recommend getting the Citipass of your going here. It includes access to the source needle and the other sights around town
Zachery Rizzitano (Zrizzy)
Absolutely stunning up top. Line to the elevator is the only bad part but that's just par for the course on Attractions such as these. The elevator only takes 45 seconds to get up to the top.
Kayla Jackson
Absolutely loved it. Especially the elevator ride down with the video talking about Cthulhu 😅😅😅
I waited so long to go on it, I've lived in Washington for 2 years and moved the day I went on. Was worth it 100% on the sunny day I went.
Dan Cesaro
Must see when visiting Seattle. Got in to the elevator to the top very fast. Get a city pass and you will be able to visit twice on the same day.
Adarsh Chauhan
We paid ~$30 for a ticket. The views from the top are absolutely fantastic! On a good sunny day, you could see the majestic Mt. Rainier resting peacefully in the distance. Pugent Sound’s view on the west and South Lake on the east also captivate your attention when you circle around the top. I am not sure if there was parking near it. We parked on 5th Ave garage for $20 (for 12 hours).
Tim Taravella
A great piece of Americana here. Looking forward to Jetsons living which we haven't quite reached. Amazing photos from the construction and World's Fair.
Consider eating at the Grecian Corner across the street and definitely add on a visit to the Chihuly Gardens.
Jia Casillas
It was a cool tourist site to visit the price to go up was not expensive. The view once at the top was very cool. The second floor with the moving deck was a nice touch
USN Explorer
Great views of the city, don't buy your tickets on Groupon though, they'll just tell you they've sold out of the time slot you wanted when you get there.
They also require you to share your personal medical information with an attendant I have to assume is not a medical professional for entry.
Michael Crump
If you are in Seattle and the sun is shining, you really soon pay this a visit. Lovely retro 60's feel and the revolving floor is good fun.
Anastasia Postoev
Absolutely amazing!! We got there early-before the sunset. To experience all the colors and see how the city changes into night! Got a little crowded in the end but we’ll worth it.
Xuechen Zhu
City Pass is recommended. It can be visited with Museum of Pop Culture which is next to it. We went here at dusk. So we have a chance to see the city in light and dark.
Kasandra Natewa
LOVE coming here. It's more crowded than I've seen, but probably because the pandemic restrictions have been lifted. I'll admit it was nice getting a good view with few people. Go early! You tend to have a shorter line and better view. If you go later, be prepared for LONG lines and LOTS of people. The time of year you go is important as well, as winter tends to be cold, windy, rainy, and foggy.
Eugenia
35$ entrance fee, around 10 minutes queue from ticket check in to the top. The tower somehow looks better live than on the photos. Top floor is nice, you can walk around or enjoy drinks. Glass floor level was disappointing: dirty floors and windows
Jamie Waller
I purchased the City pass and included in that was a trip up to the top of the Space Needle. Each ticket includes a day trip and a night trip. It gets busier at night but there’s plenty of room on the viewing platforms. I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re in Seattle.
Gopika Raveendran
Amazing views of the city. It’s great view of Seattle, the glass floors and spinning is pretty cool 😎.Space needle is Seattle’s symbol and a famous landmark.Views are fantastic must visit. …
Paul S
If you get the chance you should really check out this iconic landmark. Revel in the 1960's world fair nostalgia, see how the tower was constructed and take in some spectacular views.
Matt Beatty
Yes. It’s touristy. But it’s worth it.
Seattle is really pretty(when it’s a moderately clear day). The revolving glass floor is a particularly cool touch. The way the history is laid out on the way to the elevator was so interesting that I can imagine even if there was a lineup I would have enjoyed it.
Kristen East
I visited for the 3rd time a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. The new glass benches and protective fencing really elevated the experience for me. The glass floor was also a lot of fun! One frustration for me is they had what seemed like a great history exhibit, but it’s located in the line queue for the elevator. Since there wasn’t a line, the staff hurried us along and I didn’t have a chance to read/explore the displays.
Monsieur Prince
Famous for a reason. Highly recommend this Seattle staple. It was my second time going up since 2014 and it was incredible! Unlimited time and incredible views! I would not recommend the lunch up there but they do have snacks and drinks as well if you go hungry.
The ColorBlack
Little to no wait! Purchasing tickets at the kiosk was quick and easy. Mask were required inside and proof of vaccination is required before entering. Very clean and the view is amazing!!! A must visit!!!!
Timothy Morgan
A nice thing to do, I loved watching the sunset! There is a little wait and you must buy the tickets before because they can sell out! Tons of little things to buy down stairs. Take an elevator ride up and once up there you can stay as long as you want. If afraid of heights there is a area with no glass bottom, but the views are crazy! I would highly suggest planning a day in that area, which has various museums and things to do.
Retzel
Cool views and lots of stalls for food. There are a ton of pricey museums and activities to do down here. Parking is not free, so make sure you find the stall and pay for it and add a few hours on for safety, they check often! (Not a bad thing, just a fact). -- We took the monorail to the fish market area, there are only two stops total, the one you get on at and the one you get off at. Super nice visit.
Ravi Venkatesh
A great experience! Totally lives up to expectations. Love the unlimited photographs by the deck cameras providing amazing views of the Seattle skyline in the background!
Kris
Overpriced but a neat experience. Worth doing at least once. It was a bit crowded but not so much you couldnt get decent pictures. Be careful on the spinning deck if you get motion sick.
Sam Keske
Worth it. Sunset is a great time. Smaller up top than I'd guessed, but entertaining with the moving floor. Wide range of souvenirs downstairs.
Ron Sissons
Space needle glass floor bar was amazing. Lee was a great bartender making nitrogen infused margaritas and lemon drops. Delicious. If only they sold the glasses... Chihuly glass garden was neat and beautiful.
Steve Mascheri
Somewhat expensive but it's really cool!
Great place to see the greater Seattle area, especially on a clear day! Smaller kids might get bored but on general they're captivated by the views to keep them occupied.
Didn't stay there for food but looks good.
The surrounding areas has a park and playground to expand the day for kids.
Line is somewhat long to get up but they do a really good job of keeping things moving.
Recommended!!
Ben Park
It’s obviously worth a trip, and I’m glad I visited. But also this is overpriced and I feel overrated. Because..
-the views are amazing, but the best view of the needle is from the ground!
-the number of ‘influencers’ trying to do little photoshoots really got in the way of just enjoying the experience
-of the numerous places to buy drinks at the top, during my visit only the bar was open and we were laughed at for asking if they served coffee. It was 11 AM..
It’s fun and I’m glad I went, but I felt a bit ripped off.
Sanket Khedekar
Best place to view seattle city! You can get the tickets from the self service machines or from the office located outside. Price variesas you visit during the time of the day. Space needle base has two checkout locations and one restroom.
Carol Woulms
Very expensive to go to the top , but we did. I think they could be more reasonable to go to the top of a landmark. However it cost$30.00 for 4 cans of diet Pepsi , we didn't realize it or we never would of gotten it
Malcolm Dailey
Great view of the city. We had been putting off going up but really enjoyed the experience. Even got to wave to our kids in their condo window.
Soumya Parthasarathy
Blown away by the design, engineering and rotation circle. Restrooms are very clean maintained. Wheelchair accessible too. Didnt try food but it looked nice to sit and eat👌 …
Jamie Polizzi
A very cool experience, beautiful views, the rotating level is very cool. Staff were nice and helpful.
Free pictures and a very cool elevator -- sassy (in the best way) on the way up, informative on the way down.
Devon McMaster
Worth the money. We hadnt been in years but took our toddler and we spent a few hours up there. Super great views. Interactions with other guests. Food was so so. Make sure to bring diapers and snacks etc with you because it's one time in and out for the facility. Line seemed long but only took 20 mins or so.
Melissa Rancour
Excellent views of the city. A bit expensive between tickets and parking. Recommend getting there before they open to get close parking. We reserved tickets but it was not clear that we still had to go through the ticket line outside to get our wrist bracelets. Loved the idea of the free photos they took, but we couldn't get the machine inside to work or the website to retrieve them.
Dr. Ryan
Amazing views. Funny commentary in the elevator ride up. Great gift shop. Tons of fun activities all around the space needle from splash parks to a huge playground with places to eat. You can get an adult beverage on top of needle and don't forget to check out both the upper and lower revolving level. Valet parking available for 18$ an hour right at the base of the needle.
Michelle Bedford
I loved the space needle. I almost did not go up....so glad that i did...the observation deck was just awesome! The glass floor freaked me out! The views were just amazing!!!!!
Molly
Wonderful experience! The view from the top is amazing. I personally did not enjoy the glass floor but only because how dizzy it made me. Definite must for your Seattle trip.
Alex Braiden
Great 360° views of Seattle. Can be quite busy on weekends with a long wait time. For example, I arrived at 11 and the next available time wasn't until 3:30 so be sure to book early
Kelli O'Hara
Beautiful views of Seattle! There is affordable food and coffee at the top at well as a very expensive restaurant that requires reservations. Great gift shop and food trucks at venue as well!
Avery
A little pricey but you get a lot of pictures and the gift shop wasn't too bad. It was overall worth it. Try to go up on a clear day, which I know is hard, because the views are great. All of the staff was super nice and as many COVID-19 precautions that could be taken were. I got amazing photos.
Celene Gilliland
Can't beat the view! You can get a ticket to go up twice so that you're able to see it during the day and night, it's an incredible view either time.
Eric Sizemore
A must do experience, worth the price. I do suggest you go up an hour before sunset. That way you get day pics, sunset picks and dark pictures with the night lights surrounding you.
Dan Moudree
It was really fun! We got there early in the morning and was able to enjoy a good cup of coffee while enjoying the great view looking over the city. A fun trip. Look forward to doing it again.
Donna Luse
Overpriced but worth the experience to me personally. It gets really expensive for families which is a shame. They do practice some Covid protocols which was appreciated. The visibility and the slowly moving see they floor makes the experience unique for sure.
k2 kossivi
A fun place to visit when you are in Seattle. Sometimes, the line gets too long and you have to stand outside. They have a really nice souvenir shop.
Cale O'Day
Nothing screams seattle more than the space needle, one if the most iconic buildings in the entire United States. Its smaller than you think, but just as beautiful!
Sathish Kumar
Well one of the populate tourist spot in Seattle, Washington
Love the experience of taking photos by the revolving glass deck. They have dine in option as well in the top.
Tips
Perfect time to be up is juat before the sunset and then catch the glimpse of dawn and the dusk
Gina Filmer
Amazing! Built in the 1960's for The World Fair and it impresses. See throught floor and rotating section allow a stunning view of Seattle and her surroundings. Day or night it is lovely. There is a gallery taking you through every step. The structure posted is made of leggo.
Erik Peterson
Incredible view. Once you are up there it is all worth it. We had an issue with one of the people controlling the ramp to the elevator. They were very pushy and rude. We explained that we wanted to read the history display that was on the ramp and they kept telling us to move ahead. The line in front of us was not going anywhere. I explained that I paid for the tour and this history display was part of my entry fee. He was very rude about it. Come to find out, we are just being pushed ahead to get our picture taken so they can get more money out of us. The visit was still worth it, but enjoy your tour and don’t let them herd you like cattle. They forget you are a customer.
Cyndi Markle
Highly suggest purchasing the ticket for both the Needle and Chihuly. Great deal. The Space Needle was remodeled and now has a glass floor which can take a minute to adjust if you are afraid of heights. There are bathrooms on both floors. The prices at the Cafe are quite pricey. Great family experience through and through!!
Highly recommend.
zoe munoz
Super fun! You get access to 2 different levels for $35 per person. The elevator ride on the way up has a cool view with the front glass doors. Amazing view of the city and the beautiful landscape surrounding it. I'm terrified of heights, but I had my partner to guide me through it! You can get some really cool shots up there!
Ethan Schueler
Amazing views, can be quite nerve-racking if you are afraid of heights, can be crowded at times too. The line to get on the elevator runs at a steady pace so you usually are not waiting too long, but it could have just been because of the weekday so be wary.
CMET Higgins
Worth the visit. You can visit the rotating restaurant without reserving a spot, but you won't be able to enter the sectioned off portion. The views and elevator are great!
Carl Alvey
The Space Needle is an iconic symbol of Seattle. If you attempt to take in all the information provided regarding the construction of the needle and the world events at the time of construction as well as spending time at the top viewing the panorama you will spend on average 2 hours.
Melissa Thiel
One of those places one needs to visit in life. The view from below and above were amazing. We visited in a super clear day and the views did not disappoint.
Baban Kaur
Its a fun place to take family and people visiting out of state and if you haven’t been in for a while definitely go !!! micheal ( elevator duty) was an absolute pleasure to see . He said to ask him anything about space needle or in general and we ask him to sing a song and it was perfect end to a busy day ! So go check it out !sunshine is definitely better then a cloudy day
S Ward
How much more can awesome be...well you just have to find out yourself. Visited the needle, inside/outside glass decks. The highlight however was the Loupe lounge. Frankie the bartender absolutely rocked the nitrogen cocktails, the tapas were on point. The is the place for people who know how to live for fun and adventure. Gives New York competition for sure!
Janelle Salgado
I'm scared of heights so I stayed inside. Although the 1st floor beneath the viewing deck there is a rotating glass floor. I was too scared to step on but my husband enjoyed it. There is also a photo kiosk outside of the viewing deck to take a picture sitting on one of the glass benches. There is light refreshments to buy on the viewing deck.
Rich Lopez
I had a good time here. The gift shop is pretty kool, and the gift selection is interesting. The ride on the elevator is an adventure in itself! I ate at the Lounge, and enjoyed everything. The wait staff was really accommodating as well.
Theresa Hoban
We loved it. Beautiful views of Seattle‼️ Take the monorail there and then grab a bite at the Chihuly gardens.
María Glez
The view is stunning, definitely you must check the weather before going up to this building, when we went up the whether was nice but then it started to rain so the view was ruined, there is a place below the top of the space needle which is running in circles so the view is really worth it, if you want to appreciate the view with daylight an night make sure you go upstairs at 4.55 so you can see the two views.
Alicianna Massey
Such a perfect view of the entire city. We went at night for the first time and the city was incredible. The Space Needle is an attraction that everyone should visit in person! They also have great souvenirs in the gift shop for keepsake. I love my pink Space Needle coffee mug 🩷 …
Mandy Reynolds
I honestly wasn't impressed by the Space Needle. There are much cooler things to do in Seattle. The tickets are expensive and then it's an additional $20-$30 to park. We did get the tickets to the Chihuly Garden and Glass in addition to the Space Needle tickets and that was 100 times better. I guess with going to the Sears Tower growing up and having the tallest freestanding elevator where I live this was just another place to look out over a city. But it was rainy and cloudy so meh...
Llorito Castanares Todd
My wife came on a whim and we really enjoyed ourselves... great beautiful views that was timed perfectly as the sun cleared the clouds that hour we were there. It was a little pricey and there's no more restaurant on top so this may be our one and done.
Zeh-Ty Hua
Quite expensive (nearly 40usd) but it was a good first monument to do after landing in Seattle. They don't accept cash but have a machine that delivers a debit card that can be used anywhere in the US in exchange of cash (so convenient).
Carlos Acevedo
Begrudgingly visited for nostalgia as I was taken here as a kid long ago. I forgot how impressive it really is. I really enjoyed it, even with it being a crowded tourist trap. Definitely recommend it.
Krishna Chaitanya
Firstly, I am afraid of heights. Felt uncomfortable. As the time progressed, I got comfortable and started enjoying the view. We went for the night view, and it’s totally worthy. Don’t forget to take stairs to the below floor ( not the elevator to the ground floor) where you will find moving transparent glass floor. It was very exciting. If you wanna get photos or selfies, I suggest you to go in the morning.
Felt tickets were bit expensive though.
Rahul Sharda
Visiting the Space Needle is definitely one of those things you need to do if you’re a tourist. Views from the top were really sweet. Ticket prices were more on the pricier side (in my opinion). Spent no more than an hour here. Recommend checking it out!
Yogster Myster
Loved visiting the space needle, once there we had unlimited time we could spend. But to go up you still need reserve a time slot when you order the tickets.
Andy Schultz
It may be a tourist magnet, but for food reason. The view of Mount Rainier behind the city skyline was jaw dropping. Visiting at sunset was a bonus. Not much available in the way of food and drink unless you go to the lounge, which is 21 and up. But, worth the price for the 360 degree view, and you can stay as long as you like.
Alicat RT
I read in other reviews this is a place everyone should visit, but it doesn't take long to do so, this is correct. The views are outstanding. I would say we spent about 30 to 45 minutes here. The Space Needle is by Chihuley Garden and Glass and the Museum of Pop Culture. I suggest you do all three together. Check out Seattle's City pass buy this and you can see all three for a great price.
Christopher Bassey
The view was absolutely stunning and you can even get a two for one. You could go on the space needle and go to the glass museum near by for ~$230
Anil Bakshi
Best time to visit is NOT sunset coz it's jammed!!! Avoid this window. You will love late night quiet and a 360* slow spin of the deck.
Tom Birdwell
Ask yourself. Do you like beautiful views and kickers sunsets? Then this is a must for that and many more sights. Don't miss out in this place. It's a must do in Seattle.
Dennis Smulders
Amazing view for an okay price; The bar was also quite dandy and not too expensive, considering this is one of THE main touristic places of Seattle. Unfortunately it was too cloudy for us to see Mt. Rainier but the view is stunning nontheless; You also pick up on a bit of history of the Space Needle as you enter and there are some fun photo opportunities here!
I would say, if you're visiting Seattle, definitely go here!
ViperPrism
Afraid of heights so I had my brother take the pictures looking down. Worth stopping If you're ever in the area. Put it on your bucket list.
Sahid Martin Robles Bello
I thought it'd be a tourist trap, and it kinda is. However it's a trap worth falling into, specially if you make the trip up during sunset hours. Gorgeous view.
Malte Lantin
It's quite expensive but worth it. Since the renovation a few years back the views are amazing, with glass walls all around and a glass floor on the lower level.
Sara O
Great tourist stop, and no lines if you manage to get there on a weekday. You'll get a great view no matter what time of day, but the nighttime is beautiful with all the lights. Doing a full rotation on the glass bottom floor doesn't take too long and it's worth it to take a slow view of everything. I'd suggest doing the bundle ticket with the Chihuly Museum to save a few $$. Big gift shop that's heavily space needle themed at the bottom.
Michael Gonzales
We decided to walk to the Space Needle because there was no rain. There is a lot around the area to see if you have time. The Space Needle always provides a great glimpse of Seattle and beyond. Would be great if it said what we were looking at. We've had a good time in Seattle, even w the Seattle weather. The Space Needle was just one of our touristy stops, but there is a lot to see & do around it as well.
Kami Miller
Great place to see Seattle, daytime, sunset and night. Has bar, resturants, and historical exhibits. Nice for kids, dates, and foreigners visiting US.
Rupesh Deshmukh
Definitely one of the "must visit" places if you're touring Seattle. The view is gorgeous, and it's worth it to buy the day-night pass to get two different perspectives of the same city.
Polyanna Marcos
Went early to skip the crowds, was nice to see the views. The pictures are obstructed by the glass but you can enjoy watching the views and grab a coffee or drink at the top.
Rachel Vogt
Totally worth the time to check this out. The top floor spins around the building with a 1hp motor. There a bar up there and plenty of room to hang out and take pictures. There is a gift shop at the bottom. Plan to take many hours here!!
Heather Mickelson
What a sight to behold! You just can't appreciate how big the Space Needle is until you are right next to it. Easy to get to it, drive-up parking across street if you can get a spot, grassy area for picnic or your pet. All kinds of eateries at the Armory!
Jesse Perez
Was visiting Seattle and decided to visit here. The photos do not do any Justice as to actually seeing this place in person. The revolving floor was probably the best part!
Jennie R
The Space Needle was a must see for me. The price to go up was a little high but nothing unreasonable. My hubby doesn't like heights so he stayed on the ground and found plenty to do.
Danny Urbina
You get to see a great view of the whole city! Personally I would recommend coming during the afternoon when the sun is setting, it’s the prefect time to take scenic pictures!
jmicah
Had an amazing time here and the glass floor was very cool i’ve never been anywhere else with that. Would definitely recommend coming to the space needle if you’re in seattle.
Jazz Carper
Just as great as you would imagine. I had been wanting to go here since I was a little girl and finally did. So they have 3 different passes, like a 1)single entry pass,2) day/night pass which is two entries for that day, and the 3) day pass plus entry to the glass garden next door. We opted for the day and night.
We went up and entry was very easy, you ride the elevator to the top and there are two levels to hang out on. They serve some food and alcohol when you get up there. I recommend the mai tai, very yummy. They also have photo opportunities that come with your ticket (that are free!) so keep your ticket handy! There’s a rotating observation deck and then a chance to step outside and view the city. Interesting and incredibly exciting.
Ve by artediveronica
Lovely experience, the glass floor is amazing, it is not only the view, but the only one in the world, that rotates..
Totally worth it
Ticket outside, on the machines, and usd57 for both: space needle and Chihuly
Randy “Bigbenboys” Daniels
The Space Needle is a classic. A true gem. Celebrating 60 years. They have done some upgrades and they are wonderful. I recommend ordering your tickets on line. The one drawback was they only had one person handling the line on a busy day.
NorthVan Larry
It's worth visiting. The weather is beautiful and clear, so the view up there was unobstructed. Too many people though.
Jamez
Amazing place that truly provides a once in a lifetime experience, and the best view of Seattle. I went here with a friend, and I am so glad that I did.
Juan E.
Obviously a landmark and must-see attraction. $35 is a small price to pay for the views, pictures and memories you'll get in return. The revolving glass floor is not for the weak of heart but you'll get over it pretty quick. Check out the pics and see for yourself!
Juan Leon
It's a must in Seattle, the views are amazing! On the top is a restaurant that is nice and tou can have a beverage looking a the beautiful view of Seattle Downtime
Todd Manning
Such an icon to Seattle. The staff and everyone was so kind and friendly. The views are amazing. And the gift shop actually has some great takeaways! A must for anyone visiting Seattle.
Lisa Syverson
Well oiled machine, I thought it would take forever to get in and up and back but it didn't, was very quick. I almost think though having a timed full visiting time would be better though. The outside observation deck was quite crowded and made it hard to truly enjoy the views but no matter what it was still an amazing visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Chris Riches
World Class attraction, built in six months in 1962 for the World’s Fair. Pity that the revolving restaurant has been removed and replaced with a glass floor.
Jacob Samuel
Pretty cool views and you can buy beer at the top. Get there at golden hour on a clear day for the best views. Buy I’m conjunction with the city pass for the best value. Expect to wait 30-90 minutes waiting in line.
Meau Vedrun
Amazing views of downtown Seattle from up here. There's a small restaurant inside but it was closed when we were there maybe due to covid? You can still buy snacks and drinks at the top, including alcoholic beverages. I wasn't expecting the bottom level to rotate and have a glass floor. I strongly recommend buying the bundle ticket for both the Space needle and Glass museum, it'll save you 10 dollars and the artwork is incredible.
Edward Desaulniers
Very cool but you only need to do this once in your life and only during the day and probably not on a weekend. Great views on a clear day.
Francis Hennessy
The Space Needle is awesome. When you reach the observation deck you are slowly turning and can see the entire cite of Seattle. The gift shop is the entire base of the Needle.
Ryan Moulton
Experience one of Seattle biggest attractions, learn about the history of this iconic structure and take in fantastic views of the city. Don’t skip this experience.
Gabrielle Johnson
Felt like I was on top of the world 🌎 It was exciting, beautiful and just fun. The guys that were operating the elevators were laid back. …
Mary M
It was a great view! Too pricey for what you see, and very crowded around sunset on nice days, but kind of a must-do so I’m glad we did it.
Toshiba Mitchell
Great experience! Friendly staff & cool moving floor! Although not the tallest building in Seattle anymore.... it still was a cool experience.
Justin Stansell
A great place to see the city skyline. The surrounding vista is nice but the place was rather crowded making me feel uncomfortable regarding COVID since not may people were wearing masks.
Shaelynn White
Went with my husband and friends and we all had a great time. Views were spectacular from the top and the glass floor is something else. We did not eat here so no comment. The Lego replica in the shop was pretty entertaining and the more I looked at it the more I saw the Lego guys placed around like Batman hanging from the top or Spider-Man climbing the side. Cute touch.
RRR Eachon
The ride up was smooth! Breathtaking views on top, beautiful city even if it’s cloudy! But the lines going down from the top seems to be in chaos! No one guiding the people where to properly line up for the elevator going down! The visit was amazing but that going down from the top to elevator going down ruins all the experience! I’m hoping they’ll resolve this & make the systems or rules consistently from heading up to going back down! Good luck
Amelia Capilongo
Beautiful views. Recommend going an hour before sunset, grabbing a drink or coffee at the bar and just watch the city light up.
Preston Hayes
Great place to see the city of Seattle, Washington walk around 360 degrees beautiful view of everything. The restaurant turns slowly around as you eat dinner, a bit pricey but was really good.
Ephraim Fields
No Seattle tourist trip would be complete without a visit to The Space Needle. The observation deck provided an excellent view of the city skyline at sunset. Their revolving floor was also a cool addition to check out.
Frank Jones
Fun place to visit if you're not scared of heights. Beautiful views
Harpreet Kaur
We visited on a Saturday for 12pm. The place was pretty packed. We walked there from the hotel that was close by so not sure about the parking. The views are amazing up at the top deck. You can walk outside and have amazing views. They have 2 places where there are cameras that take your pictures but the camera is not positioned correctly so not worth taking the picture there. We then went down to the restaurant on the floor below. The views are the same as the upper deck but from the inside, instead of the outside. The rotating deck is cool but if you’re trying to take a picture with the floor, not that great.
Mr. Gyhutawrod
Very handicap accessible and friendly. The view of the city area is great and the whole area was clean. The grounds/park around it were also very nice. Good visit for everyone!
Megan Carrow
A very touristy site to visit. Lots of people, so if crowds aren't your thing, definitely don't go. The view is great though, and had a delicious cupcake from their observatory cafe.
Kyree R
Didn't wait long to go up.
Scary high! Elevators have clear doors and travels fast.
No more restaurant
Suheil Rodriguez
Beautiful place to walk around. Grassy areas for relaxing or running around. Gift shop and restrooms on site.
Mando Avila
Finally had the chance to make it out here this weekend and what a view it is! Lots of tourists and locals, lots to do around as well as food. Parking is a pain tho.
Hajikamo
Really enjoyed the space needle. Came all the way from California to see this and go to a game. There were plenty of kiosks to by tickets and the ground floor is a gift shop with plenty of merchandise. The elevator ride was a great experience and the top was incredible. The bathrooms were tiny and the revolving restaurant didn'topen until 2pm. But the views were amazing and the revolving floor was great scienc experience. We will come Back. Also the gardens were Great to walk thru as well. Really enjoyed it all.i hope you enjoy the reviewed and continue to use them. Thank you.
Shawn Varughese
Great tourist spot, but only worth the trip if you have good weather. We got a timed ticket. They give you a free photo on their website which they take at the entrance.
There is an elevator that takes you to the top floor. The top floor has an indoor and outdoor section. The indoor section has snacks and alcoholic beverages. Drinks and food are pricey and small as you'd expect in a tourist trap. There's an outdoor section where you can take photos (it's cold and windy !!! Not for those afraid of heights).
If you go one flood down you can get the view of the ground through the glass floors. I got a little queasy with the revolving door.
The exit is available via two elevator on both sides. It takes about ten minutes. It exists info the gift shop.
Some of the items from the glass museum live demo are sold at the gift shop.
P.s.
The revolving restaurant was replaced with a fancy upscale bar which you need prior reservation.
Glenna Cain
Awesome experience! I have a support dog, and they let me bring her up with us. Everyone was nice and informative. We picked a beautiful day to visit, it was fantastic!
Scott Parr
A typical tourist attraction. Overpriced and not much to it. It’s a good thing to check off in your things to do in Seattle but not if you’re on a shoestring budget.
Johanna Clements
Coming back to visit the city as a native being away for 5 years, I wanted to take a visitor out of town to show the view off. Since Covid, it’s not as busy but all the food and dining was sold for the day! We got enough time to take photos, was just hard to access on the screens. Getting the champagne, it was almost $25 w/ tip. The coins are a fun way to leave with a souvineer! Left with chapstick and pictures of our fun experience!
Kevin M
We enjoyed our time at the Space Needle. You need time for this event as there is typically a lineup to go up and to come back down.. plan on needing a couple of hours. Great views of the city, water and mountains on a clear day. They do sell snacks and alcohol beverages up top so you can have a drink / snack and relax and enjoy the views. The large glass revolving floor is an experience to see. Ok it is “touristy” but how can you come to Seattle and not see the Space Needle!
Kelley Vincent
WOW! We reserved a 6:30pm ticket and we were in Awe of the views, the beauty, the sunset and the staff. The staff were fun, knowledgeable and smiling. We felt welcomed and appreciated. The upper deck is great but the spinning glass floor below is AMAZING!
Ray Suggs
All I can say is WOW! Pristine facility with awesome views. Only wish the glass floor restaurant was opened when we were there.
Michele Melichar
Although the entry fee is a bit high, the experience is wonderful! The views from the top are gorgeous, and I loved the rotating glass floor!
Abraham Lemas
Incredible experience, amazing views! And you can enjoy a bite and drink while you take in the scenery!
Bryant Givens
If you're interested in going to the top, I'd highly recommend the "city pass" it includes the Space Needle and several (4) other local attractions. including the Glass Museum which is conveniently located right next to the Space Needle
nishant narula
It is little pricey but try to buy it online with Chihuly Garden and Glass package as you get a good deal with it. Amazing place where one can see 360 degree views of Seattle. The observatory is good and one can get pictures of the Seattle.
Melissa Allman
Such a cool experience to see Seattle from this perspective! Staff was friendly too. Bring your vax card or negative test for admission. Observation deck with the rotating floor was awesome,as well as the dining experience at the Loupe Lounge.
Monica Hernandez
This was my second visit to the space needle in the past 5 years. This visit I thought I’d bring my kids with me to knock it off of their bucket lists. We arrived shortly after 10am and went to purchase entry tickets. There are self-service kiosks near the front of the building where you can purchase your own tickets. After selecting our tickets and a 10:30 entry time, I went to pull out my credit card to pay for our order. Within less than 30 seconds, my screen timed out and cancelled my order. I went back to select a 10:30 entry time, and there were none available. I had to select an 11:00am entry time now. I was a little frustrated because I only selected 3 hours for my parking and waiting around for an hour to enter was going to take away one hour form my visit. While we waited for our entry time, we walked near the back of the space needle and found a children’s park with a maze. We let my son run around and play until it was time to head over to the gate to enter.
Once we entered the gate, I had to have my purse inspected, then we began to wait in the long line to go to the top. It was a Saturday at 11am, and there were a lot of people waiting. We were shuffled in line waiting for the elevators for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once we got on the elevator, we were at the top within seconds.
The view from the top was beautiful, you are literally able to see all of Seattle and the surrounding cities. It was cloudy at first, then the sun came out, so we were able to get some great photos. They have a concession area where you can buy some snacks and drinks. If you want to eat in the rotating restaurant, you’ll have to make reservations if there are any available. The floors on the bottom level also rotate too, which was pretty cool.
After enjoying ourselves at the top, we had to jump back in line for the elevator to get back to the ground. Again, we waited in the line for the elevator about 35 minutes to go down. Once getting off of the elevator, we ended up in the gift shop. Some of the gift shop items were extremely overpriced, however, we were able to find a couple of good souvenirs.
Tickets for myself and my two kids were a total of $110.00. I had to buy two adult tickets and one youth ticket. I think the tickets were well priced for such amazing views.
Seattle = Space Needle. You have to make time for a visit if you find yourself in Seattle.
James Hsieh
The view up there was epic! But it’s hard to get a nice picture when most of the time is going to be packed. Buy the ticket in advance on line will save you a lot of time waiting in line there to get it.
Atticus H
Definitely a place to visit atleast ONCE while visiting Seattle. But it is sort of underwhelming. Not worth the ticket cost to just take some pictures, not even including the absurd food and drink prices. Also the floor below isn't even fully glass, only some.
charles compton
The iconic Seattle space needle. It actually does have some incredible views might be the best iv seen in any major city. Its worth it if ya havnt done it before imo. Its touristy and does get busy on the weekends but I’d still recommend if ya happen to be in the area.
Rashida Kapadia (ORCHID COMPLETE MAKEOVERS)
Great view from the top and the revolving floor was the best. Buy a pass which includes both the Space Needle and the Chihuly Glass Garden because that is cheaper. Must visit if you're in Seattle. Take a skytrain from Westlake centre and back
Art DeLaCruz II
Great experience and well organized. Staff is well informed, knowledgeable with good customer service skills and attitude. Definitely recommend visiting when in Seattle.
Kiki Xiong
Beautiful view! Went about 6pm and left by 8pm got all the sunset view and night view. A must when your in Seattle Washington.
Pat Sanchez
Yes I've seen the Space Needle & it's beautiful but don't be scared to go to the top or walk on the glass floors because it's such a majestic site, the views are Amazing & unforgettable.
Christopher Jones
Seattle is changing so fast. Life-long resident. Skyline has transformed. Drive I-5 south through downtown or take a ferry ride across puget sound, at night;-)
邵慧娟
The icon in Seattle and worthy to come. Unfortunately we were here in the bad day that the view may not be good. It's must be perfect with nice weather.
Svetozar Fedorov
The pinnacle of modern day architecture and a pinpoint staple of Seattle. It was definitely cool to see from the ground/sky in person, but maybe not worth the 30ish dollars just to go to the top.
8/10 - "Not pointy enough"
Panayiota “yiota” Tortorelli
It's the Space Needle, it has good views. It's really really tall, they have some small areas with glass floors.
I went on a Monday and it was not crowded. There's a small non rotating food stall that has a decent selection of food stuffs (the same things as pretty much every other inside attraction food stall in the center)
The rotating part is more gimmick than anything. You can see that you are rotating in comparison to the inner most part of the Needle, but your rotation relative to the view in the distance is small enough to be barely noticeable. Given the angle of human vision and the speed of rotation, it will take you ~10 minutes before you can appreciably realize that you are facing in a different direction.
It is easily possible to never even notice that you were ever rotating.
The rotating restaurant is even more gimmicky, it is an EXTREMELY narrow section of the rotating floor space, they lined up some tables and chairs, added a bar, and called it a restaurant. There's some sort of kitchen in the center section, but it probably has as much selection as a bar. I didn't go or make reservations, I saw some people standing at the entrance and passed it a few times, but never saw the staff so much as acknowledge anyone's existence.
It's very expensive and convinced me that the Seattle City pass is very likely worth it. For one person I spent ~$100 for two rides to the top (day/night) and a pass to the Chihuly Glass and Garden center.
Ke
The Loupe at the rotating floor! The wine and cheese charcuterie was great! Several different meats and cheeses, sliders w/ truffle fries, and a fun dessert was an incredible thankful experirence in Seattle.
Kelly Klaes
Beautiful views from up top. The glass floor isn’t anything that awesome as it’s difficult to see through. Getting tickets was quick and easy. Definitely worth it.
Jay DesForges
Amazing to see in person!
Glad I got the chance to see it up close. This is a must see.
To go up to the top it's $35 per person, not worth it for me. But if you do decide to go, enjoy!
A Stint Abroad
This is a must-see in Seattle. I like that there aren't many crowds at night, but the view during the day is beautiful. During the day, you had to arrive at the right time based on your ticket. We arrived too early and were forced to return to our time slot. However, the staff were much friendlier at night. One of the staff members asked me why I was in a hurry and that the place was not moving. lol Overall, it was a good experience.
एमके सिंह
Wonderful tower, u can get good view of Seattle city from one place. Must visit place.
Kimberly M Moorer
I enjoyed my visit there. You could see the whole city and if you can't it seems as though you could. They also have a couple of places inside to eat and drink. It's also spinning around
Kanishka Wijesekara (Kanishka)
So it costs between $30-35 per adult to get in depending on the time of the day it goes from 30 to 35. You can book your ticket online and schedule a time slot to enter. Don't worry if you arrive early, just show your code at the counter and they will make it current so that you can enter then and there. I booked for a 6pm-6:15 entrance but got there at 4:22pm. The guy changed my time slot to 4:15-4:30.
Clean bathrooms are there at the very top. Beer, ice cream also available but double the price. Go on a clear day to see mt Rainier
Ana S
Famous place that couldn't be missed while visiting Seattle. Very iconic. We went during nice clear day and was able to see all surroundings clearly. It was crowded. It took us 2 hours from the moment we entered (timed) line till we got to the top. Elevator was full so we couldn't see anything while riding it up or down. There was barely any room to breath.
Views are great! We liked open viewing area even though sun was from the side we couldn't take good picture of.
Glass floor was great too.
Overall we enjoyed it.
A little too pricey for a family of 4, but as one time place to visit it was worth it.
D Jay
It has been a while since visiting. Still haven't had the nerve to go to the top yet. One day, had brunch in the Armory at The Skillet. It was good, enjoyed the tram over, no heat inside.
Anvesh
Amazing fun place. We got quite a few great photos and the best part was the rotating restaurant 🤩😱 …
Jackie Hui
Think this is the one of the most famous touristy spots kn Seattle, and I think it's nice if you aren't really in a rush! You get to see the city from super far up! There's even a section where it rotates! Also if you want to just chill, you can grab an alcoholic drink st the top and relax!
Emily Reedy Parker
Do I need to say much? If you visit Seattle you must see the Space Needle! Gift shop has something for everyone and the bar has great drink options (definitely pricey)
B W
Yes, it's a tourist trap. Yes it's expensive. But... But it's soo worth it. The view is amazing. The floor will test your faith, the glass walls can test your bravery. It's worth it, GO!
Christo “Sweetness” J.
Definitely worth going up... I recommend reading the history on the way it helps in appreciating the structure. It's quite amazing and the glass elevator ride up makes your legs weak... Lol
Up top they do have bars and places to sit and enjoy the 360 view
Peter Claydon
This is The Future, or at least how I imagined the future when I was a child in the 1960s, when the Space Needle was built. For the best experience, go in the early evening, buy a glass of wine from their bar and sit looking out over Seattle and Puget Sound. For an even better Future experience, arrive on the monorail.
Shannon Garth
Amazing view, great experience making memories with my daughter. I like how you can scan your ticket and cameras set up all over will take photos for you.
John Mihalko
Wonderful view, and experience for about the same price and time you'd spend going to movie.
Maddie Minogue
Even though the lines are long, it is a unique experience that is a must if you are visiting Seattle! The 360 views of the city are awesome, and the roaming photographers will take fun pictures of your group that you can get for free on their website later on! Definitely recommend doing a combined ticket with the Chihuly museum as well.
Prabhasa Kalkur
Best visited during sunset time. Make sure to add your photos online using your ticket (you can download them later). There is also an option to take a ‘selfie’ at the outside deck. Worth a one-time experience.
Hesam Abedini
Beautiful even when it is rainy and foggy! If you haven’t visited the top, make sure to do at least once. The view is beautiful and there is a small bar where you can buy drinks from. Their gift shop on the first floor also have interesting things to see and buy! We enjoyed our time there and I think you can take memorable photos from the top of the needle.
Saif Ahmad
It was nice to see some of the milestones from the time when it was built. The view was good, I preferred after the sunset. Glass floor is interesting and there is a cool revolving deck with a bar. If you're in Seattle I would recommend you to go to the Space Needle. Nearby you can find Chihuly Glass and Garden Museum and MoPop Museum.
Barry
Must see attraction in Seattle! We had to wait in line but it was worth it! Love the ticket process.
Martin Schmidt
Awesome place. You definitely need to sit in the rotating bar and grab a red wine with cheese and enjoy the awesome views!
Udit Anand
An iconic landmark on the Seattle skyline, the Space Needle is a sight to behold at any time of day or night. The observation deck is also worth a visit. Would highly recommend!
Billy Sanford
Iconic, Great & amazing space needle is a must see when you come visit Seattle. Plus it’s right next to many other touristy attractions.
Tony Rector
Great views of the city. Did not like that the bar was empty and yet you had to have a reservation to go in. Other than that great experience.
Shannon Tate
This is a historical icon in American history and a fantastic place to visit! I had so much fun on my visit that I would not mind going again! Recommended to visit early in the day or later in the evening to beat the crowd and the heat in the summer. Highly recommend purchasing tickets online rather than tickets at the entry. Masks are required.
Tobey 055
Cool experience. Lots of history. Near Chihuly museum. Experience at your own pace. Neat shop at the base of the needle.
Bruce Spence
Beautiful day so the views across Seattle and beyond were breathtaking. If like me you're not keen on heights, stay away from the revolving glass floor 😖 …
Rasesh Saraiya
Amazing experience, especially their glass bottom rotating experience with amazing views of all sides of city. Must go at the top around sunset time to see the night view as well.
Darryl Gay
An obvious must-do when you get to Seattle. I think we paid $36 for tickets on-line in advance. It is higher up than I thought but you get a great view of the city, the sound, harbor and even The mountain! There are bars and a restaurant up there too.
Claire Thomas
The icon of the city; A must-see venture while visiting Seattle. The recent renovations greatly added to the impact of the experience with the 360 outdoor observation deck and the expanded views with the glass floors. On your way up, there is an interesting exhibit with images and text describing the history of the Space Needle and the 1962 World's Fair.
If you want to avoid crowds, I would reccomend not going on a weekend (Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually slower). You can skip the ticket line by purchasing online on the Space Needle's website; just keep in mind that you have to arrive within the 15 minute time frame you chose.
Mary Joy Desselle
It was very nice. I think it's best to go there at night time. The view, the lights is like Xmas lights.
Trending Nordic
The Space Needle was pretty awesome! The glass floor gives you a great birds eye view straight down.
Cindy Schort
We had reservations for the loupe lounge and it was absolutely awesome! The hors d'oeuvres filled us up as much as a whole meal would have. The staff was so friendly and attentive.

Exactly what you'd expect. Fun views, souvenirs, great photo op. Contrary to some popular "conspiracy theories" this place does exist! Will visit again

Kids had a blast. Loved the posters explaining the history. The glass floor was sooo cool.

The views are amazing and the revolving glass floor is a unique experience. Of course the longer you stay, the more you get your moneys worth. So dress in layers in case it's cold and try and spot the areas you visited. The Cafe inside the Observation floor is reasonable. **But be warned, you can't eat or drink inside.** So if you're trying to get away from the elements, dont order. (no this is not the level with the glass floor just a standard lounge). All in all a good unique experience.

Nice views from the top. Personally, i did it just to tick off one more from the list but if you have done other ones like CN Tower, the this one is not even close to CN.

Great views and interesting story of it's construction. Be sure to visit the Chihuly garden and glass next door as well

Now that they do reservations, it is much easier to schedule a time to go into the space needle (no 3 hr waits) so it is absolutely worth getting up there, it can get very windy out in the observation deck, but the views are truly unmatched.
