Reviews of Imagine Children's Museum
Zsófia Tahy-Kovács
Our little one had so much fun.
We spent 4 hours here, and she wasn't ready to leave, but the place closed (and I was done way before that 😆)
She really enjoyed the craft, I thought it was pretty dumb, but all the kids seemed to enjoy it, and that is what matters: a Thanksgiving leftover plate: kids glue different things that resembles Thanksgiving leftover on a paper plate.
Lots and lots of fun things to do. Our two favorite was the train station and the water works. The water works was truly fantastic.
The crew was kind and helpful.
Bathrooms were clean and tidy.
We really enjoyed our visit.
Our little one was talking about it for days after.

This place is so cool! My 2 and 3 year old have a blast and never want to leave. All of the different stations are so fun and creative, allows the kids to free play and learn. Can't wait to go back when the weather gets nicer so we can check out the rooftop playground.
Gina Barone Simmons
I have a 2 year old and this month was the first time we took him any place like this (due to the pandemic) during the week it's not too busy and smells of cleaning products (which made me feel good). During the week I didn't see any staff in the play areas, but on the weekends I saw a ton of staff running around - so maybe it depends on the kid count. I do like they have a max capacity, cause it can get a bit crazy. That being said there is a TON of stuff for littles to do - 3 levels of activity and play. The prices are a bit stiff, but I felt it was worth it. All-in-all a great place for kids!

We went on Veterans Day (major crowded). My daughter is 5 yrs old. We spent a couple hours exploring and playing. She was all tuckered out before we got to explore the upper floor. The exhibits are amazing. I love what they've done with the rooftop. Everything looked pretty clean. The employees were doing a wonderful job managing people. They were polite, helpful and carrying walkie-talkies which came in handy when a boy got separated from his parent. All in all it was a good experience. My daughter loved it.
Jacob Mccallum
Brought our two kids here for the day and it was a blast. Loved the dino dig on the roof top as well as the huge jungle gym and musical section up there. Inside we played on the airplane and bus after pretending to work as veterinarians. The art studio down stairs is also super cool and they don't have an extra fee to join in we made love bugs and my the lady running it was super sweet. Offered to get extra pipe cleaner to make a bracelet for our daughter.

My kids love this place, I have been bringing them here since they were really little. They have so much to do and see And the rebuild on this is amazing all the tree forts and the upstairs with the whale skeleton I've always loved the roof with all the play things up there for the little kids in the music stuff They even have an area where you can purchase food I think the remodel was a great investment for this place

BEWARE!! You may enter, but you might never leave! We spent 3 hours there and honestly could have spent 24 without my son stopping for a break. He just couldn't stop playing. There is so much to do and it was all amazing. He just bounced from place to place. It is 3 stories of awesome.
Our favorite exhibits were the airplane, and the Dino dig. The water room is amazing as well. My sister came with us and she wanted to know if they had adult nights were you could have drinks and play around like kids. There was a lot we wanted to play with, but it's not for us 😥
It's just great for toddlers and I recommend taking your kids early so they can play all day and wear themselves out.

This place was amazing. There’s so much to do and explore. We’ve been twice and still haven’t hit all the rooms. We got a membership and it was a great decision. It’s safe and literally so much to do! We were there on a Friday when they did a science experiment. The kids loved it! I think at some point we’ll dabble in their classes too!
Joshua Wilson
We took our special needs son for the Sensory Time here today, which is every 3rd Sunday morning (except easter). The children's museum has several fun activities which engaged out kids with creative play areas (an airplane, bus, and even a outdoor play area on the roof). They had fun air tubes and a water play area that kept both of our kids engaged. Our son loved making noise in The train area and playing with their toy trains.
This is an excellent place to go for kids with or without special needs.
Adonica Warth
Took our 4yr old for his birthday, 1st time and we all loved it there was endless things to see, explore and learn, we spent almost 4 hrs and could have spent twice the amount of time there, we will be back often, and it is great for rainy day play! Also apperared to be cleaned continuously, smelled like bleach through out👍 …
Betsy Shields
It was wonderful today. Not lots of people and children had access to all areas with no wait. Loved the rope bridges and realistic trees and all displays. A fun time for all.
T.K. Lucas (The Cracker Martian)
The kids had so much fun! Walking in we were met with a super cool tree fort and camping scene. They loved fishing with magneting fish, it was hard to get them to move on through the rest of the building. Their favorite part was making stop motion videos. My favorite part was the water works. Imagination came alive in the commercial airplane and the restaurant. The trains were cool too but it smelled like a kid peed in the corner so it was difficult to be in that area for long and really enjoy the display. Eventually ended up on the rooftop playground. Everything was entertaining and enjoyable. We were there for 3 hours and if it wasn't for needing food (which wasn't allowed in the building), we could have easily stayed for much longer.
samantha able
This place was really cool. My 1.5 yr old LOVED it. Especially the plane. There is alot to do so don't go close to 4 since they close really early....and the prices are kinda steep to go in..
Chad Gibson
So fun! Despite being in downtown Everett, it felt very clean and very safe. Went with my 5yo son and 2yo daughter and wife. We stayed for 3 full hours ,there were so many fun activities. Highly recommend!
Emmett Hannifin
This place is so fun if you have todlers. Lots of interesting displays to keep everyone interested. They are interactive and educational. Staff are very caring. Go when you can.
Kika G
I took my 2 yr old and she loved the museum! We went the last 2 hrs of the day but I think 3 to 4 hrs would have been best. There are arts and crafts, theater acting, wet area, toddler playvarea, planes, trains, bus, tree house and other small and big activities to keep the kiddos actively playing and interested (and a parent busy)
We chose a weekday and it was busy altho not crowded. I would likely visit a weekday again vs a weekend. It was our first time here and we both enjoyed it. Tons to explore in what looks like a little place.
* I personally do think it is however overpriced in general, $15 entrance for 1 yr and older, and the exit walks thru the shop they have, which just calls for trouble with a toddler who is already tired and doesn't want to leave. Those are the only two cons. It seems like the family year round (2 adult 2 child) pass might be worth it if you plan to visit at least a few times in the year!
Overall, I do reccomend visiting at least once, and I plan to visit in the future once or twice a year for my little.
Miocure
My kids had so much fun! It’s huge and there is a lot of stuff to do. They offer annual membership and military discount.
Kelly Marin
Came back for the first time since 2020 and the expansion is wonderful. Makes it possible to spend more time at the museum. My kids ages 11-4 all loved it and had a good time. The new treetop exploration area is super fun. The staff was kind and it wasn’t crowded mid week.
Anna Koné
I think $15 for kids and adults seemed a over priced. It us not very ADA friendly my youngest is in a wheelchair and IMO his older brother had a LOT more he could do....the elevator was not working and we have been there more than once and it was not working.
Rhoda Dyjak
A child's "delight" indeed, the activities are endless!! A full day is not enough time to experience all the fun educational displays that are sure to stimulate , sight, sound and touch and most of all learning. Our grandson is 2 and 1/2 His top 3 favorite things are the rope bridge, the wooden train track and the fishing pond. WORTH every penny I promise you will not be disappointed!!
LR L
I love taking my toddler to this place! We’ve been going to toddler time every week for a few months now and I can honestly say that the program and staff are amazing! There are so many different things to do and see, every time we go we discover something new. They are constantly changing and improving things so it never gets boring no matter how many times we go! The rooftop playground and dinosaur dig spot are our favorite, but the new indoor treehouses are also super fun! Everything is hands on and kids of all ages can be entertained for hours. I wish places like this were more available when I was a kid!
So-Ying Chu
It's a fantastic children's museum - both fun and educational. Regardless of what your child is in to, they'll find something that they love. Sometimes I think I have more fun than my toddler. I also appreciate how food and beverage is not allowed other than the third floor where the food truck and canteen area is located, it helps keep the place clean.
Daniel McGee
My family enjoys coming here. My son calls it "The Fun Place". The new exhibits are a really cool addition too. It is a little pricey if you only come once. We got the membership and come every couple weeks so it is more worth it.
Sheri Tilley
Loved it! I can't say enough good things about this place. They recently grew and doubled their space to offer even more great kid experiences. It was raining (shocking) so we didn't go out to the rooftop play area but plenty else to do. They now have a dedicated cafeteria where you can get drinks, quick snacks and they have a 'food truck' that has more items ie sandwiches & soup. We took our 6 year old grandson and stayed about 3 hours. Wore that boy out =)
Brian B
We have been members for a long time, ever since our oldest kids would enjoy it. We loved the weekly science and art projects.
Now, with the new expansion, the museum is world class! There are so many places for kids to learn and play.
pat hannifin
The new museum is huge and has lots of fun new experiences. We couldn't wait to get in after we saw the "fishing pond" just through the entrance gate and a new forest climbing structure. Our grandson loved the aquarium, the forklift he could sit on, and the real whale skeleton and bones! Can't wait for the tinkering center to open!
V R
I took my 9 yo niece here and we had a fun time. Lots of great experiments and exploration to do here. There are multiple floors to this museum and I do believe I saw an elevator. There is even a rooftop outdoor playground.
Jenefer Turner
Had a blast took my nephews and they loved it. It was a little crowded so they didn't get to do a couple things they wanted do to some kids not giving others a turn to try the activity. It cost $22 for admission but if you have EBT they discount up to 4 tickets to $3 per ticket.
E S
Children really love this place! I would say it's pretty expensive (22$ for each) but worth it
Becca Foster
The grandkids and I had a great time will definitely be going back again.
Dave Wright
We visited last weekend whem my grandkids were in town. The weather was very rainy prompting us to come up with an alternate activity than the one planned. The Children's Museum was recently remodeled and was full of amazing and fun things to entertain kids of all ages including adults. After 3 hours we had to take the kids home to nap and we didn't feel like we scratched the surface of things to do.
Samantha Ipser
So much to do! Best kids museum in the area. We spent 15 hours there over 3 days and are still discovering new activities and areas.
Dan Duvall
Best children's museum in Washington State by far. The recently opened addition is awesome. Kids can easily spend 2-3 hrs exploring and playing.
Melissa Klokow
Loved the remodel except for the new bathrooms that men and women shared. I’m totally not okay with this, very uncomfortable. There is still one separate bathroom, but it’s only on the first floor. Not convenient when you are upstairs.
Sara Lengenfelder
SO MUCH FUN!!! If you plan to go 3 times or more I recommend the family membership. The he kids have so much fun here, even the baby & got to explore, learn, create too! They were exhausted & starving after. The top level is outdoors so dress accordingly. There is also an eating area that you can bring your own snack/meals down to to take a break and refuel.
Eugene Lee
Great place for kids. After expansion, more stuff to do , more place to enjoy! My son spends more than 3 hours ach visit and fall a sleep right after a visit
Daniel Young
Been coming here for a couple of years. Super fun place for my kids, now 3 & 5. New addition is extravagant! Well staffed with lots of friendly folks.
Alex B
Great experience for kids all ages.
Jeffery Agyekum Adjei
My kids LOVE this place! They'd go any day and usually want to stay till closing.
Diana Lowe
Our first time here. It is a great place for ages 3 to 9. We were disappointed that strollers weren't allowed. Also it would be nice if they had better food options. At least a vending machine with little kid food. So definitely pack a lunch if going during that time. Parking is not free $3 for 3 hours or $8 all day. There were a ton of exhibits. We liked the video screen you could dance in front of. Also liked the water play area. They had a toddler area too which was small. Not meant for crawlers but walkers only.
Loree Slack
What a great place for kids to go and have so much fun and learn at the same time.
My son and wife have a family past for the year and it is good at the museum un Burlington as well di it works for this grandma who has the kids at least once a week.
Worth the value and well put together and organized.
The roof top playground is fantastic!
Lindsey Busby
We love it here! So many different features and even a huge outdoor rooftop playground! They don’t have a cafe, so plan on bringing your own lunch or snacks to eat down in the designated food area. They have certain days they do extra entertainment like story time or singalongs. Very friendly staff. Clean and fun!
Krysta Shephard
The new remodel is great we could spend hours there! My daughter is 5 and had a great time we've gone there since she was little.
Marc Beacom
Amazing fun. So much so that the kids didn't want to leave, eat, and just wanted to stay and play. We didn't get a membership but probably should have as well be back a lot. I'd say this is a great spot for up to ages 10, maybe 12 years old.
Chris Grantham
My daughter loved her cousins birthday here. We recently attended the pajama part for new years. It was super busy and almost a let down. They ordered 2 pizza for the entire amount of people that showed up and that were surprised to find it was gone immediately. The were so many people that my daughter never really got to do any of the activities that were mentioned in their add for it. Bad planning on their part. There should have been a ticket system and they should have sold time slots to make it easier for more people to attend and actually get to do the activities. My daughter had fun none the less since she is 2 years old. There were so many kids and adults that it was so crowded my daughter could not enjoy much of anything without a bully coming over and trying to take the toy or space away from my kid. I am still going to give 5 stars because this is an amazing place for kids. I only hope the staff reads this and next year makes changes to their large part plans. Including ordering an adequate amount of cheap pizza for hungry adults and kids to enjoy without forming huge lines just to be met with empty pizza dishes and promises that more is on the way. Oh and maybe more than just 1 person who paints faces???
MG Lowery
Fantastic, fun learning environment for families! They offer a sensory time for children with special needs every 3rd Sunday. There's a rooftop playground with spectacular views! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! LOVE this place!
Linda C
Awesome place and lots to do!
We came at 10am on Friday when the place was just opening and there was already a line to get inside. Took us 10-15min just to get in.
But once inside it didn’t feel crowded because the place is so big.
Each area is kinda closed off from each other, so i like that i can stand by the entrance and monitor kiddo from there. And when he is ready to change an area he comes to me and we walk together to another place.
There is lots to do for kids of all ages. Mostly aimed at preschoolers, but toddlers will enjoy special toddler area, water area and reading nook also.
We paid $13 each, but I noticed they had a groupon deal couple of months ago. Next time i just have to grab those deals when available.
We stayed for 2 hrs and then had to leave because of the street parking limits, went to neighboring restaurant for lunch and came back for another 90minutes of fun.
We live in Kirkland and the 30minutes drive is totally worth the fun.
(They also offer free admission on certain nights of a month, so check that out!)
Fun for the whole family, for sure.
Ross Wahlborg
Fantastic children's museum with lots to do for the under 8 set. Even more fun in warmer weather when the roof play area is open. Highly recommend it for a good time.
Lorri Becker
Wonderfully created hands on museum for children of all ages. There are a variety of educational activities that are fun to do. Plenty of room for everyone.
The rooftop also has a play area for kids and is a nice place to let the little ones run around in the fresh air.
There is an admission fee singly or a family membership can be purchased
Shawn Falkner-Horine
Facilities are great -- big playground on the roof, crafts / vending machines / eating area downstairs, dozens of great activities (and a stage for science demos) on the main floor.
However the one main problem is the open layout makes it too easy for parents to park in one place and reduce kid supervision (which can quickly degrade the experience for others) and there's little/no staff presence.
Contrast with KidsQuest in Bellevue, where each area is more distinct (so parents are naturally watching more closely to avoid losing track of a kid) and there's more staff presence throughout.
Kelli Will
Perfect to let the kids go insane. I would say that the age range is around 0-11ish? They're putting in an addition to the museum so I'm excited to see what will be new!
EDIT: The expansion is FANTASTIC! There's a bigger cafeteria/eating area with a little "snack truck" that's reminiscent of an ice cream truck. There's a huge "tree house" area that's forest themed and multi-leveled. A huge salt water aquarium with different fish and anemones. Bigger gift shop with greater selection. I will definitely be coming here as often as possible!!
Ludmila Lynn
Been here several times for field trips with my class. Such a great place for them. They have every play ever you could think of; book area, theater area, kitchen, vet clinic, fire truck, glow in the dark area, train area, water and much more. The outdoor roof top is amazing the kids really love that. If you have never taken your kids here put it on your list. They will love it. Bring food, they have a eating area downstairs.
Greg Krsak
This is a quality place to learn and play. The staff has really improved their customer service over the last year, and the science guy, Nick, is especially cool and friendly. There's one somewhat-crotchety older woman there, but she's harmless if you ignore her. Overall this place is worth twice the cost you pay for a membership, easily.
Clinton Wong
Probably the best children's museum I've ever been to. Three floors of activities for kids to do with a huge amount of variety, and it's all very high quality exhibits. The rooftop play area had our jaws dropping, and the basement eating area was a great convenience. Bonus, free 90 min parking in front, though you'll want to stay for more than that.
David Kassis
Excellent place for indoor play, there are many activities that suits all interests, from stacking Bricks to plane rides to a theatre with sound and light effects. I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. We subscribed annually which allows us to go as many times as we want and not pay entrance fees. We also had my sons birthday party there and it was very good, only advise is to plan the birthday well in terms of understanding the terms and closing times etc... Only issue I have which is annoying is that the exit goes through their toy store. It's always drama for me every time we go 🙄😂😂.
Michael Boggs
Our family loves going to Children's Museums and this one is a must see. Staff was great, location and parking was easy to get to and a roof top park...sign us up. We had an amazing time, will be back next time we're in the area!!!
Jahnel Burgess
Very impressive! A variety of different “stations” for kids to learn, explore and create. Barn, vet clinic, restaurant, theatre, water play, airplane, trains, and a treehouse are just some of the indoor activities. They also have an entire outdoor play structure, a cafeteria to bring your own food, a craft corner and so much more! We were there for three hours and just scratched the surface, definitely will be returning!
Ashlie Kaestner
Worth every penny. Safe fun place for my 1yr old to run around. love it.
Jill L.
Fabulous place for preschoolers and lower elementary kids
May be a little underwhelmed for 10+
Assortment of different compact play stations that introduce kids to a range of concepts
Big Waterworks area is special and a rare find in kids museums
Best surprise is on the rooftop
It probably beats all the parks in puffer sound region!
Naomi Anelapumehana
Hands down, a MUST see if you’re in town or live in the area! Not only are all of the exhibits filled with fun and unlimited potential for self discovery, but children can truly learn!
The main floor consists of: a coat room for your belongings, water play, train station, farm exhibit, 3 and under only, theatre, glow in the dark, room, musical instruments room, a tree house with a bridge, a play restaurant/diner, an airplane, a log room that also serves as a presentation room, a bus, and an exhibit to see how air flows.
The 1st floor (lowest), is accessible through stairs or elevator. It has closed off rooms for parties or classes (arts) and this where you can eat your outside food and drinks.
The uppermost floor is the best, weather permitting! It has an amazing outdoor playhouse, the largest I’ve ever seen!
Tips: Try not to bring any valuables, as the coat room is not a secured space. If you bring a bag, bring a backpack, keep an eye on your children as there are children running around everyone and the gate that flows to the main entrance door is easily opened by little ones.
Patrick Kyba
This is a great place for younger (<10) kids to play. There's lots of different themed areas like light, sound, water, magnets, etc. Our kids had a lot of fun. However, it really is to play as there wasn't a whole lot of signage, displays, or staff to actually explain some of the science to the kids. Keep this in mind if you want something more science-y. Finally, it would be nice if prices were cheaper for adults since a lot of the time we just supervised and didn't (or couldn't) play. Or maybe have a family pass - something to keep this place reasonable for larger families.
Jesse Sherman
Our sons love this place. We have a 4 year and a 2 year old, and they could play here all day everyday. Great variety of fun, interactive, and educational things to participate in, and a big fun playground on the roof for the sunny days. An annual membership is worth it if you go more than 3 times, and we could do that every week if the kids had their way!
Cameron
Tons of fun, lots to do, and the kiddo wore himself out with a smile. Not to mention they have a roof top playground. Yeah. You read that correctly.
Wo0dy
Super cute place to take the kids. They are expanding and will be even better soon
Michael Holbrook
The Brio train was the most popular with our 21-month-old and many other kids. The outdoor playground was extensive but best for slightly older kids. The room with the orange balls and colored tracks is fun to experiment with for kids of all ages, plus there's a small play table for younger kids to the side of the performance stage that has wooden blocks.
Phillip Anderson
Arvada Tile Pros team is a true craftsman. He is very attentive to details and conscientious. Arvada Tile Pros is your guy if you're looking for a great tile job. They remodeled a bathroom for us, removed the tub, built the walk-in shower from the ground up, and replaced the floor; it turned out amazing. They are very talented, responsible, and reliable. I recommend Arvada Tile Pros for your next project.
Dina
They have a good variety of experiences around the place, both for younger and older kids. The rooftop has an awesome playground, but it's not always open. It's a little small, wish it was bigger.
Marc Bell-Cruz
Jammed pack full of role playing and learning stations to keep kids of all ages busy. Don't miss their top floor open space play area with their massive playground, music and excavation stations.
Chapmann Cheung
Amazing place for the #pandasinthepark. Will visit again. Picked up a picnic lunch from Safeway and ate an early lunch in their eating area prior to letting loose their imaginations. The rooftop was amazing!
J S
Great place for kids. Price was low as well. Definitely check this out. Indoor and outdoor play

I used to go here every week and hang out with friends because i lived 2 minutes away, i loved the water area and the rooftop dig site. THE best place in the world!
Thumbs up
Justin Ploegert
Fantastically fun place to visit with the kiddos! There is a ton to do here - water works, trains, tree forts - all kinds of wonderful things. There is also a rooftop area that is pretty awesome. It's near the downtown area, so lots to see and walk around the area.
Kaylen McInnis
Imagine is awesome! My boys love the water area the most, we spent half an hour there alone. Don’t forget to go downstairs to the craft area & upstairs to the outdoor playground!
Jennifer Morikawa
Lots of great activities and stations to explore, learn, build, and play. They had stations to play the games that were at the gift shop too. Trains wooden and model, construction, farm and water play, rooftop playground, and more. Did wish there were more concessions than vending machine.
James Legit Johnson
Great fun place to bring the kiddos for hours. Seats in good spots to watch kiddos from afar. It has dedicated pretend play rooms for everything you could imagine including, planes, trains and automobiles.
Rise Above
Super fun place for the kiddos! Very imaginative and creative. Also, very clean!! There is a super fun outdoors play park on the roof for nice days. There is also a little area downstairs to have lunch and snacks. The water park is super fun. They have a “seasonal” area that they keep updating with new creative exhibits. There is also a toddler area for the little ones. Love this place!
Amy W
Can get busy on weekends. The parking meter in the lot does not take Canadian credit card for some reason.. bring cash! Facility is relatively clean but more could be done... Vancouver BC Science World annual membership could get into this place for free.
peter M
It is a small but very nice place.
My daughter enjoyed it a lot. She is close to 2 years old but had a lot of fun
Erika Marie
Meant more for little ones prob like six and under. My 8 year old still enjoyed himself for an hour or so. Its fun, safe, clean and not over crowded. They have lots of different activities and stations as well as a huge roof top play ground with at least ten different games or activities to do up there alone. My two and half year old would spend all day everyday if she could.
Doug Smith
Fantastic smaller, highly interactive children's museum, with even more amazing new addition to open Fall 2022 - if you have young children do not miss this hidden gem in downtown Everett, WA!
Alex
This is a great place for kids of all ages and also brings out the inner child from adults.
Lots of creative and fun ways to learn and discover new things!
Amber Peters
The add on to this place is amazing!! We had so much fun here!! Definitely recommend this place to any family! If you have ebt it drops the price to $3 a person!
Mike Whatley
Amazing place - so much to do and so many different areas to explore- our kids loved it so much we went back 2 days later and they loved it
Sarah Eno
We recently got a membership here and it has been worth every penny. My 3 year old has the best time!
Héctor Nebrijo
I visited this place with my kids and 2 adults..At the beginning I was kind of disappointed that I have to pay for everybody in the group, not only kids... Once I was inside I found out that there was something for everyone. My little one enjoy so much the outside area specially digging for dinosaurs bones.
Annabelle Nyers
Great place but no parking, the only close parking is 90 min parking and then otherwise you have to park in a super sketchy lot where they give you a ticket while your on the app trying to pay
Todd “Toad Shortstop” Digby
The museum was founded in 1991 as the Children's Museum of Snohomish County, as part of a countywide initiative to establish children-oriented places in Snohomish County by the county government's Children's Commission. It opened in 1993 at a storefront in nearby Marysville, but was forced to move to a temporary space in downtown Everett in 1995. The county government planned to locate the museum permanently at McCollum County Park in Mill Creek, but plans fell through during the late 1990s, leading to a donation by the Schack family to fund a permanent museum in downtown Everett.
The new $4.75 million museum, a former Everett Mutual Bank branch with 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) of space, opened on October 17, 2004, and was renamed the Imagine Children's Museum. In its first year at the expanded location, the museum reported an attendance of 146,000, more than quadruple its annual attendance at its temporary locations.

This place is amazing for my 18 Mo old son! He loves every little alcove and it's like new exploration every visit.
The last time we went, there was a live event with robotic programming that's really great.
Upstairs have a huge playground with music instruments and Dino bone excavation site.
Great fun! Got annual pass!
roxy hart
Clean. Great exhibits. My two loved it. We spent the whole day and could have stayed longer. Parking could be cheaper.

Amazing!!! Such a cool place, my daughter spent hours there having so much fun. A little pricey and parking was difficult (lot was full) but worth it!
malinda lattin
By far the best children's museum I've been to. I kind of just want to play in the water area myself. Very clean, and staff are walking around actively monitoring what's going on. Wasn't initially thrilled with the price but it gets you in all day - we ended up leaving to grab lunch and got a stamp that got us back in an hour later. Spent a total of about 4 hours here and could easily have done twice that. Definitely go when the rooftop adventure is open, it's at least an hour by itself.
Joshua Babcock
Great place to bring kids. Many different things for them to do, including a very large play structure on the roof.
Dana Fowler
This place has really grown up. I used to take my son there and now take my granddaughter. The number and variety of educational, engaging, creative and challenging activities are really astonishing. We had so much fun we decided to buy annual pass! I highly recommend for kids 1-99!
Eden McInturff
This place is AMAZING! The kids don't even realize they're learning!
Jeff Gore
Great place for children. My daughter went here today for a school field trip. The children were all excited running frim station to station. We started out at the vet station and then hit the tree house . From there we went to the barbers station and a cool blaxk light room. We then qeny running for the airplane and water area before resting for lunch and returning to playing.
If you have ever been to Bangkok, this is like a low budget version of kidzania. Was still a great time to be had by the whole family.
Jennifer Chapman
Perfect place to bring your elementary aged kids for a day of learning and play. Interesting enough for parents too.
Betawi America channel
The kids will be love it to visit thus pkace
Alexis Romero
Great fun place for kids up to age 10-12ish. Can be very busy. The roof top is a hit everytime. Highly recommend if your looking for a inexpensive play date in this area.
Jennifer Hawes
So much stuff to interact with even with a toddler (1.5 year old)!! We can't wait for them to open back up with their new exhibit. Will definitely be going back there!
Keith Dubs
Fun for the kids. I would say up until about age 10 or so. Plenty of things to do. Can get very busy though.
William Schaefer
While we didn't necessarily interact with any staff members outside of checking in, the multitude of interactive exhibits they have on the main level keeps kids occupied for hours. The playground structure and other play items on the roof are exceptional, and there is even classroom spaces and some additional things for kids to do downstairs. Highly recommend for anyone with kids, our 1 year old thoroughly enjoyed herself, as well as our 4 year old.
Josh V
This place is such a good place to take your kids. Lots of hands-on things to do for kids of all ages. There's a basement with some more structured things to do. There's a ground level that has quite an assortment of fun, themed areas. Also, there is a roof with a big jungle gym and other things to do. At the time of writing this a portion of the roof is blocked off for construction of additional roof activities. There is a paid-parking lot on the same block that is pretty cheap.
Emily Christensen
Best way for a child to really absorb learning is to make it fun and this place is like a giant playground for learning. I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old. Their paces moving through this place were drastically different. I was lucky to have myself and 2 other adults to wrangle all 3 of our kids. I recommend you come early. They have so much to do and if your little one gets tired, there's a nap room.... don't go late thinking 2 or 3 hours is enough, the kids will feel a bit cheated not getting to play with everything. We never even made it downstairs or upstairs.... so much fun for kids and adults a like.
Rezee Jenkins
Was our first family trip to the Everett children's museum and it they had a ball!! Affordable and fun all in one!!
Ravi Krishna
They charge entry fee for accompanying adults. They close at 4. I would recommend open at least till 6PM.
Rochelle May
A wonderful indoor/outdoor play facility for children. It's a great place to play on weekdays especially. We loved it so much, we bought a membership.
Ava Philips
Love this place and I have since I was a toddler! Though the rooftop playground is sometimes wet, because it's the PNW, the indoor part overall is huge! I'm pretty sure it's 3 levels and would be good for babies to tweens! If you visit Everett with kiddos, you HAVE to stop here!
Jeremy Bresnahan
Took our grandchildren there for an afternoon. Overall it was a good experience. They need to update a couple of things, but the kids did have a good time.
Michael Ly
Extremely big children’s museum! Lots of things for kids to play and explore. Love that there’s a dedicated spot for eating as well.
Teresa Coffland
Super busy place, but great for the smaller kiddos. Kids really love the taller outdoor slide on the roof.
Ariel Gutierrez
Spent 5 hours here with my 3yr old and we still had things to do. I would recommend and go again
Jeremy Zeigler
Education, endless fun, safe. This place is just amazing!
Monica Flom
Always have a blast going here. Great for the whole family and reasonably priced! Kids have so much fun . The only bad thing I can say is the kids never want to leave!!! Lol
Kristina Spencer
So much to do. Great for baby through 10. $12 per person over 1.
Adam Bispham
Excellent for kids and adults. We'll worth a visit. Exceptional
Emily Kennedy
I love taking my daughter here because there are so many different things for her to do; water activities; instruments; digging; games; building activities; books; a giant playground; and a lot of exhibits that teach children all about things that they don’t yet understand, such as airplanes, the atmosphere, farms, etc. I recommend bringing your children here if you’re looking for a place where you can relax while you’re children learn and play.
Randy Lau
Great children's museum in the downtown area. One of the best ones in western Washington. Have a lot of the usual exhibits, water station, small businesses, train sets, airplane, etc. The best part is the huge playground on the roof. Art stations are in the basement. There is paid parking behind the building.
eribri02
We went during the day on a Friday. It was very crowded but there are a ton of activities to do. My 3 year old had a blast. There is a water play zone and large playground.
James Spaedt
Every exhibit is some role all kids like to play or just engaging in general. Very interactive.one of those little oasis finds where parents can catch their breath
Juan Aguirre
It was a fun place for our children and for us, we definitely will be coming here often, we decided to get the membership, it's worth it!!
Amber Wagner
Amazing place to bring the kiddos. So many areas to play, create and use your imagination. We bought a family pass for a year as we love down the street and it's my 4 year old sons new favorite place! We have a blast with him as well, fun for all ages 🥰 …
Anna Raash
I have been few Children museums around here and there. This one has a lot of fun for toddlers and kids big enough for adults and kids. They also have on the roof playground which is great for nice weather. We just went there and my toddler played almost 3 hour's.
Salty “Salty” Waters
Management here is AMAZING on top of how awesome this place is. I accidentally lost my keys and couldn't find them, (I even have a Tile for instances like this but the battery was dead!) We were then stuck locked out of my car with an infant, toddler and an autistic adult accompanying me. In December it was quickly getting cold and dark at 4 pm. Even after they were closed and locked the manager quickly brought us all inside and had staff search the place while we called for someone to come help us. We really appreciate the time they took for us until we were able to get things figured out!
As for a review of the Museum itself, it has been the best thing for our kids since Covid with so many other things shut down. We love the science classes, storytimes, and my sons favorite, the construction zone that they change up every once in awhile. I also loved seeing how many activities there are for encouraging collaborative play, (air plane and water area). We've also been loving the "Seashore" area for babies to play. There's not many places I can take my daughter to crawl around besides at home and grandparents. My son likes to call the park on the roof "The Best Park in Everett".
Sonia Berriz
Amazing! We took our 6, 4, and 2 year old. We stayed an hour and a half. They were so happy the whole time! So much to see and do. A winner for sure!
s i
Fond memories of this place. We live about an hour away but held membership since we visited often. Great place to enhance kids' social/cognitive skills.
Brian Davisson
Great place to visit with kids 3-12. They even have a great roof top playground for the nice days.
Noel Prince Devaneyan
Great place with lot of fun and informative activities
Frog Feather
Ebt card gets you in for $3 each person. I ordered online ahead of time and printed out our tickets. Brought my 6 year old nephew during spring break. He absolutely loved all the activities. His favorite part was the water works station.
Jen Moberg
So much to do for kids in there. Great place/space to do a birthday.
Daniel Turbeville, IV
The new expansion has tripled the size of the previous museum. There are a ton of new local and interactive exhibits for children of all ages to explore.
Jerry Turner
Great place for the kids. Rooftop playground was a great addition. Our OMSI membership got us in for free.
B J
Amazing museum. It will be better if it is cheaper. $300 membership is a little expensive
Doug Hall
Super solid kid fun. I’m proud that this is in Everett.
Jamey Fields
My boys absolutely loved this place, I liked not having to drive to the children's museum in Seattle. There are a lot of imaginative activities for them to do. I recommend to anyone in Everett.
Hao Hu
Lots of indoor funs to get your kids through the Seattle rain season.
Katie Hash
Wonderful place for ages 2-6 or so. My 2.5 yo loves it and always asks to go again. Each time he finds something new to explore.
kathleen hutchinson
Amazing activities, very reasonable price, convenient parking, kid friendly staff. They have party rooms with different themes that looked like alot of fun.
Luz Balleza
Amazing 🤩
Joelle Okeke
Great children’s museum. It’s a good 2-3 hours entertainment for my 18 month old and he always leaves ready for a nap. I’ve had a couple of experiences with specific staff being a little rude, but most staff are very nice and helpful.
Chris Gant
Great children's museum - better than Seattle's. Would be perfect if it had a small cafe.
Matt N
Make sure you keep an eye on your kid(s), the place is huge, and you can easily lose your kids. I would highly recommend it.
Natalie Malliris
It’s fun for the kids, but seriously they charge for the adult to be there, I had no idea before going, we have to be there to watch the kids!!! I’ve never been to a kids play place where they charge the adult an entrance fee. I’ll not be going back, that’s just absurd it’s not for us it’s for the kids, now if they had a cool cafe where the parents can hangout and let the kids run amuck, maybe that’s worth charging the adults a fee.
Cooper Danielles
What a gem! Finally took my 3 1/2 year old niece here and she had a blast. It's huge and definitely worth your admission. Bring plenty of energy because your going to need it.
I wish I would have known that they have a designated eating room because I would have brought a snack but now I know for next time! Also note that no strollers are allowed so I brought my ergo for my baby and it worked put well. There's a changing station in every restroom too.
Every room is fun and unique. Lots of thought went into this place. The rooftop playground was awesome and there was misters for the hot day.
I personally didn't run in to any rude or unattended kids. Most were well mannered and those who weren't had parents giving them gentle reminders.
Will be back!!
pnw max
Awesome place to take the kids and meet up with other families. Three floors of activities and on nice days roof is a great feature.
Vijo S.
Great place for kids to run around! My niece and nephew especially loved the roof top play area. Highly recommended!
adam robinson
Love the new additions. All the kids young to old had a great time !
Shanyl “Jo” Gabuat
Awesome multi level play space for children and adults. It's a little out of our locality but we made the trip nonetheless. It was well worth the trip for the kiddos. They definitely had a blast. I thought it was funny that everyone was the same price, kids or adults. Not a big deal, just interesting. We couldn't utilize the upstairs outdoor area because of the weather but it looked fun. We will be coming back when the weather is better and see everything this space has to offer.
Craig Mohn
It is a great place to keep kids amused.
LifeOf Kakes
Love coming to the childrens museum, they have great activities and day programs and events for all kids of different ages.
Catherine Ross
I believe, they are still requiring reservations. No mask required.
There were lots of openings the day of. We keep seeing signs about new exhibits. We haven't seen anything yet. We did go downstairs and they have an art and craft room. We made a toy airplane.
Katherine Austin
Had a blast! Used to go here as a kiddo and now I get to take my daughter. She had so much fun exploring
Katie Morgan
My kids always have a blast!! Today was a field trip so mostly covered financially but our Can be pricey for lots of kids.
Ben Nyquist
This place is really cool. It caters to a younger elementary age, but can be fascinating for kids through midde school. I as a parent was very impressed.
Alex Harper
Clean and very interactive. Something different on every floor. My toddler LOVES it.
Lu Tim
One of the best children Museum close to VANCOUVER Bc.
Mahmoud - Jim Zaher
It's a must if you have children under 10 to take there they will definitely enjoy it
Jeremi Ross
It's really busy here every time I've been here, but the kids always seem to have a good time regardless. I didn't see a place to get food, so it seems like they just have a lunch room for your own food enjoyment. It's also very loud inside, and if you're like me, a pair of ear plugs wouldn't be a bad idea if you get a headache easy from noise. All in all, a great place for the kids to play and have fun.
Deirdre Sims
Such a fun adventure. Even my 8 year old still loves coming here. The rooftop playground is a favorite as well as the water play area. I couldn't find my 4 year old a few visits ago and they helped me stay calm and alerted staff who discovered him happily playing in another area. So grateful for their very prompt attention!
katey
This place is amazing for little minds!!! There are so many places and activities to explore! If you have not taken your kids there yet GOOO! They also have affordable options if you have an EBT card! The rooftop is pretty neat too, my son got me playing on all the toys and going down a HUGE slide with him lol.
Dw
We had a great time at the Children's museum. It was a very busy day with 3 birthday parties going on but the location is very spacious and it was easy to find areas for my family to enjoy. We were especially impressed by the roof top playground. There are several music stations, and a very nice wooden playset complete with slides and many other options. Will return for sure.
Jasmine Fitzgerald
A bit expensive but worth getting the membership! The kids had so much fun! Very clean and plan to come back three stories and we only made it thru one. If you get there by 11 you can stay till two if you like. Even if they are on lunch break.
Parked down the hill for free
Maisky Noah
Such a beautiful museum for active young kids, but my son (18 months) was almost too little for most items, I think he will have more fun when she is 2 and a half or older. He loves interacting with everything and explaining what application of science is being used at the time. lets say, It's a great place for young kids, but also a lot of fun for parents!
Shannon Piloto
Such a cute environment for kids! Loved the all themes, imagine play areas, and outside playground on the roof top!
T Rose
I cannot say enough good things about this place! My 3 year old loves it. Great variety of things to do, and the roof top play area is so fun.
Brent Knobel
Fun pla e for the kids to explore. Lots of hands on activities.
J Nunn
This place definitely outshines it's counterpart in Tacoma. Kids had a blast. Alot of people but due to the sheer amount of different areas, it never felt too crowded. The rooftop playground is great, let's the kids burn off some energy while also getting some fresh air for a little break. The place is reasonably priced. I will be coming back.
Jamie T
Always a great time, I enjoy going during the week less crowds and also on Thursday between 3 - 5 pm half off price 5.35 per person
Amanda Layton
Fun place for the kids. You need a couple hours to get through and see all of the exhibits!
Ashley Anspach
Great activity for kids 1-9. There are lots of fun areas to explore. So much hands on fun. Each area is unique and has all sorts of cool touches to make it feel really special. The rooftop playground is epic, and always a hit.
Alex Keefe
My kid LOVED this place. They did a really good job of sectioning off each area to make them all feel like a completely different experience. Just when you think you've fully explored the place you realize there is a stairwell to the ROOF with a whole new crop of toys and a lot of room for the kiddos to run in.. highly recommend, esp for single parents or stay at home parents to wear out their kid.
Tosha D
We enjoyed this fun place and went on the deck for the first time to discover a whole new experience.
Dustin Woodard
One of the best Children's Museums we've been to. Nice exhibits that encourage play and fun seasonal rotation. The indoor areas are best. I wish they could make the outdoor rooftop as engaging. Kids under 10 will enjoy it the most.
Tanya schwertfeger
So much fun! Very very clean! Lots of fun things for the kiddos. Love this place! Have taken many many little nieces here and my own littles over the years.
marshall brock
We have been here many times. The staff is friendly and ready to help if need be. Toys are familiar and some change. My kids (age 3, 5, and 7) are never bored and love it every time! Thanks for creating such a fun space for our family 👍😁 …
Kirstie Kendall
Its so clean and wide open! So much space to walk or run and play. There is always something to do and often my child doesn't want to leave when it closes. I love the huge playground on top. And we've never gotten sick from there. They keep the place sanitized and go though it a few times away wiping up toys.
Mike
Arrived early expecting a crowd on Saturday but was pleasantly surprised. Although there we quite a few kids the massive space handled them easily and it didn't feel crowded at all. There are great interactive exhibits and guided arts & crafts that are perfect for ages 3-7. The rooftop playground with massive slides and dinosaur dig was a favourite. There is no snack bar or cafe so be sure to bring a few snacks and sunscreen for the rooftop playground.
nik seifter
We've been to many children's museums across a few different states. This is by far one of the best. The design is well thought out and the level of interactivity with each area is great. This place is huge and has many different activities of different interests. The playground on the roof is spectacular. Great place to spend 2-3 hours with the family.
Eric Svoboda
Fantastic place for kids and families. Lots of different areas to entertain the little ones. Could stay here for hours. Be sure to check out the rooftop for lots more fun.
A few tips: get the membership if you go more then 3x a year. If you aren't sure it will be for you, go once and you can apply that visit towards the cost of your visit. Also, go early as it does get crowded. Then enjoy lunch at any of the fine establishments near by.
Riley Grey
My 1 1/2 y.o. daughter loved it here :)
Kelly Groat
This place is so fun! My daughter LOVED it. We went for her 2 year birthday and she didnt want to stop to even eat or open presents. Tons of things to do, for all ages, outdoor space for nice days. Small cafeteria area on bottom floor, space for parties, easy to find bathrooms. We loved it!
Julie Bly
Wow. This place is a dream for kids. I’m always looking for activities for my toddler (and there re not much). I drive from Kirkland to come here as it’s the coolest thing for your kid. The water station and the art and craft area are the top for my daughter. 100$/year for membership. Worth it!!
Justin Stimpson
Took my sister and five nieces here. Ages ranging from 4 to 15 and they all had a blast
Lyndsi Foster
The kids AND adults always have so much fun when I've been here. Great for any age! There is a specific enclosed area that you can let your little ones (under 3 I believe) to run around and play. Great spot to take a break!
I really like that there are 3 levels to explore. My youngest loves the water exhibit!
Frank Cannon
The children loved it. Many fascinating activities to entertain young imaginations! The rooftop playground is a must see for kids 3-10.
Gregory Kim
Huuuuge! So much fun to bring the kids and admittedly I had fun at a couple of the exhibits too. I went two days in a row and on the second visit bought the membership. Worth every penny. Even without, it's only $12 for entry. There's a great downstairs area which is large enough to accommodate a large birthday party and easily enough to do to keep your kids running around for 3-4 hours non stop. If you want to tire out your kids who are like mine with a seemingly limitless source if energy take them here. My little one was knocked out cold for bed night which was awesome for me.
Emily Wilson
This place is absolutely great for my busy 2 year old. We usually stay around 3 hours and she just runs from activity to activity the entire time. Water tables, a real bus, a pretend plane, a black light room, toddler specific area with a slide, big train area... the list goes on. If you have a busy kid this is the place to go.
nik s
I've visited children's museums in many large cities across the country with my kids. This one is clearly a step above the rest! The design is amazing. They update exhibits often and pay attention to details. This place is huge too! We spent 2.5 hours there this time and only saw about half of the place as my kids wanted to focus on some of the building activities. The rooftop playground is fantastic and quite unique. Can't say enough good about this place. Plus there are so many great food stops nearby for afterwords. We are members and love spending a day here. It's worth traveling too also if you are not local.
Jami
Kids absolutely love this place every time we go. The experience is better when there are less people. The first few times we didn't even have time to check out the playground on the rooftop and the lower level for art and science lab. We couldn't believe that by being a Vancouver Science World memeber, it allows up to 4 people to come here for free. Highly recommended for kids between 3 and 8 yrs old.
Taija Leslie
Nice, clean indoor place to let the kids run around. Loved the roof top play area. No spot to nurse either. So if you have a lil one who needs it, plan accordingly. Felt the prices were a little high. It will only be a very rare occasion going here.
Lori Hanson
This is an amazing place for children! So much to play with and experience! On the roof there is an amazing playground, with climbing walls, and slides. There are big toy cars, there's an excavation area to dig up dinosaur bones. And fun musical instruments to play with.
The second floor has a tree house, a reading room, a stage, a water play area, air tubes that blow handkerchiefs around, a toddler room, a real bus, a train room, a blacklight room and an airplane.
The downstairs was set up for artwork & construction activities but my little one is a bit small for that yet. I will definitely be bringing my little one back for future play days!
Heyoka Moana
Went in for my kids and found my inner child. The staff are absolutely phenomenal!
Roger Jobs Jr
Great way to spend a few hours with the kids. I usually take my kids to the main floor, then down stairs, and finish on their epic roof top play ground. Parking can be challenging for a prime spot but I have always found somewhere to park whether it is paid parking lot or time limited city parking.
Songi Pak
My 2 years old kid loved this place. So many fun things to do. I wish it had free parking space. (there are some free street parking spaces but only for 90 mins)
Nichole Merkle
So much fun! I've been many times and my girl never gets bored because there are so many places to explore. The rooftop outdoor park is amazing. I think it's a little overpriced personally but I know they offer free nights and discounts sometimes. This is great place to go on a rainy day or sunny ones for the park. It can get very crowded at certain times but they have a ton of staff on when it is busy.
Ben Nelson
We seem to have trouble making it to this Children's Museum more than once a year, which is a shame because it's very close and accessible and always a lot of fun. The attractions/ exhibits are well maintained and very entertaining. The water exhibit is always my kids' favorite, and the rooftop play area is a blast!
Samuel Hobbs
Such an absolutely amazing experience for my child and myself💕 absolutely 100% recommend!! …
Nicole Davis
Great childrens museum. It has so many things for the kiddos to do and they would spend all day here if they could! Best part is the roof top! Huge checkers board, musical instrument playing, awesome play ground and digging for Dino fossils! It’s super fun and well worth it here! Only downside is parking is tough
Filicity Sh
It's a educative play based area which kids can play and experience real world safe and freely. I really like and recommend it.Just one thing which caused I gave four star , is their new policy for checking ID on entering .As They described They do it to Check the compatibility of membership card with ID . This policy is not reasonable while I paid for me and my kid. So It need to change for alternative one parent and one kid. I hope change this policy very soon.
Jessica Hajduk
My kids, ages 2 and 5 had so much fun at the museum. It was nice to have something that appealed to both of them. The museum itself was well maintained and clean. My only wish is that they offered better snacks and drinks than just out of the vending machine. It was kind of a pain to try to convince my kids to leave for a bit to eat. However, I did find out later you can pack your own snacks and drinks, so that will help for next time!
Liz Wright
Amazing fun for children. Great exhibits for make believe play, building and creating art. We did the water station for hours. They also have a huge jungle gym outside on the roof. My nephew had a blast! Best 10 bucks I have spent
Randy Tracy
This place is so amazing for kids and adults. Our family had a wonderful time there. They had fun cooking at a restaurant, acting a play they made up, fun with the water experiments, and pretending to fly a plane and drive a bus, etc. Perfect for families. So much to build, do and see in a clean environment. You can even go to roof and dig for dinosaur bones and play on the playground there.
Kelly Svihus
My 2 year old son has the time of his life here. It's a really cool place. I recommend getting there at opening and leaving before the crowds arrive and be aware of the chlorine smell from the water play area. I would also recommend having rain boots for the water play area because it can be very slippery.
SB
Something for every kid there. Could easily spend 3 or more hours playing there. Very clean and friendly staff. Downstairs has a couple of vending machines and tables to for snacks. Street parking is 90 minutes and lot next to museum is $5.
Shelby Robinson
It's an amazing place to take kids for a family fun trip but it is extremely expensive when you have more than one kid
Maxine Williams
Great place for interaction and a miniature way of seeing how things work and function. Can be a day full of activities, exercise, and learning.
Kate Pitcher
Before you visit be aware that the free parking has a 90 minute limit or be prepared to pay for parking. It is a little pricey in that a child and EACH adult is the same admission price. I would suggest going to free admission night on the 3rd Friday of the month if you haven't been before to know what you'll be paying for. The two fun (parent + one child) year membership is a great deal if only one parent is planning on visiting the museum with your child. Have fun visiting!
Krystle Peterson
I've been wanting to go here with my kid for a long time and I was so happy I did. They have so many things to do. They have an arts and crafts room, construction, and the play park on the roof is amazing! The water play area is super cool too.
Jeremy Welch
There are so many different spaces with contrasting activities that draw the little ones in and keep them bouncing from one thing to the next.
Parking is $3 for 3hrs and $12 for anything more than that. Since this was plenty to prepare my 3y/o for a huge nap it was all we needed but I'm interested to see what happens when I bring the older one.
The exhibits feel expensive, well maintained and thought out. Family annual passes let you try before you buy by applying today's admission to the cost. I'll go back.
Matt Kessler
This is a fun space with a variety of activities for younger children. My son particularly enjoys the large brio train play area. The water play zone is also fun, just be sure to use the provided bibs to keep clothing dry. The upstairs outdoor structure is a treat in good weather. I do wish that they would avoid charging parents for entry.
Abq T
Incredible place for kids of a wide age range.
Marina Samaan
Lots of activities to do for different ages. Kids can easily spend hours there doing different things and learning a lot. The main area is all connected so can get a bit loud but there are other areas that are much quieter. There are activities that are fun for grown ups to do with their children. The store is also worth visiting, lots of different toys and activities.
Winnie Frazier (Win)
Great play for kids to spend the day, you will NOT be disappointed! You can have birthday parties there also which is an added bonus. My kids lived this kids museum 10/10!!! Roof top playground...so much, plan on spending the day there.
Linda Ly
We love bringing our son here. He has so much fun at all the stations in the museums. We find that it’s really educational aswell. We can easily spend hours in here. Only recommendation if you come is to pack some snacks!
Team Haube
Great place to take the kids. When it's busy, it can get cramped pretty quickly, so make sure you keep your kids close. I love the rooftop play area for the kids. Particularly the giant chessboard up there.
Paul Iatesta
It's an easy trek from the core Seattle/Eastside areas and the kids have a blast every time. Good for kids from toddlers to about 5-6. If you plan to go more than twice a year membership is great.
Charlie Gaskins
I had an absolute blast taking my grandchildren here last weekend. They had so much fun and afterwords they wouldn’t stop telling me how great of a time they had. We will definitely be coming back!
filthe Fithen
Even busy I enjoyed time with my kid and the grandparents.
Nolan
One of the best places to bring your 3-7 year old in the Greater Seattle area. My kids prefer this over the Seattle Children's museum. It has tons of imaginative play activities based on natural science and social learning.
Angel M. Esperas
I really like it here! A lot for the kids to interact with. The employees were great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. Good for all ages. They have a program where you can donate to, that provides entry into the museum for families who are in need. Really cool!
Daryl Gerde
This place is wonderful for young children. It had loads of interactive activities that my 2 year old loves. There is a giant play toy on the roof, including a dinosaur bone excavation area. Lots of things to do inside, and an art room in the basement. We have memberships to the zoo, the pacsci center, and now here, and this has become the favorite. We typically spend a couple hours there twice a week, and still haven't grown tired of it!
J9 L
Awfully expensive and no senior discount. Hard for grandparents on fixed income to afford.

There's nothing anyone at Children's Museum can do about my anxiety. It's loud and crowded. It is so hard for me to be there! It smells very strongly of chlorine from the water feature which gives me a bad head ache. But you know what? MY GIRLS LOVE IT! They're 10 and 12. EVEN THO IT'S UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ME I GO FOR THEM! This place has a 100 different things to get into! And features change occasionally which I find amazing! The old favorites are visited again and again! I was so 😁 excited when Imagine was built and they have met my expectations over and above! JUST GO!

A great place to take the kids on a rainy day. They have a bunch of exhibits from the fun/make-believe (a plane with cargo loading and cockpit, a stage and vet office) to the educational (train/blacklight/wind tubes and science talks). On nicer days, the rooftop playground is also open.
Daniel Betancourt
Wow, this place is like a wonderland for children. It looks like an average building as you drive by it but if you have a child under age 10, they are going to have an amazing play day and will likely learn something along the way. The interior has something for every kids interest. Water activities, planes, trains, glow rooms, mini golf, construction, play rooms, everything. It is relatively cheap too so once a month visits are reasonable.
John Adkison
The absolute best children's museum I have seen. Definitely better than Seattle's. Highly educational and the kids loved it; probably still would at age 10 and 11 if we still lived close by. I think they should copy this place into every primary and elementary school.
Taylor Berry
Great place to go and enjoy a lovely fun filled day with your children. They also have a lot of learning activities for all ages. They offer better rates for people with less income. Great place to enjoy with your children love it there and so does my son.
Cody Flegel
Kids absolutely love this place. Totally worth the drive/admission fee. Cannot wait for the expansion to open!
Reanna Marie Brown
My daughter LOVED this place.. unfortunately we got there with only 30 min before they closed so we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked, so plan to spend longer than that as there are soo many fun things for them to do ! one tip that was cool was that the last 30 min each day is free admission ! other than that, expect to pay $10 per adult. infants are free but no strollers allowed so bring a front pack or check one out from their front desk :)
Tracie Glasoe
Great place to take your kids! So many activities we loved it!. Indoor out door. Stations for every imagination to what they would like to be when they grow up.
*parking IS horrible so have fun
*they do not allow strollers in for your lil ones so bring a carrier or your screwed!
alisha davis
This is one of our favorite places! There is so much space, so man great toys, and we always can spend a few hours there. I would recommend this place to any parent with a younger child. This is my favorite muse win Western Washington. As far as the actual museum part, traffic, parking, and price I like this one better than Seattle.
Jason Nelson
Stopped in while on a family road trip and the kids loved it! Very affordable. Roof top playground was my favorite. Dinosaur excavation area, huge slides and a musical stage. Must go!
Ross Yeh
A great place for the kids 👍 with water fun, train sets and even fun activities. There's also a rooftop playground that's spacious and safe for the kids. …
Michael Rapson
Seriously the best place to bring kiddos to play and learn and just be kids. My only complaint is the hours. Needs to be open at 8-9am on weekends. There are a lot of parents whose kids take naps around noon so the 11am opening on Sundays means we have to go elsewhere for weekend fun time.
Janet Matheus
Excellent place. Your child will love it
Kathleen Berg
I think the kids I brought could have spent all day here. So much for them to do using their imaginations in a variety of fake stores and businesses. If the weather is nice there is a large play structure on the roof along with a music area and a dinosaur dig. Even if the weather is bad there is plenty to do inside from being an airplane pilot, farmer, star on the stage, explore a tree house, and building all kinds of things. Highly recommend it if your kids still engage in imagination play. As an adult, I definitely needed a drink and some quiet time after.
Doinita Tiru
Excellent experience for both kids and adults!
Sharon Renecker
Great place to take children of all ages. My 2 year old grandson had a blast. Will definitely go again.
Kandi pleasure Hyman
Children love this place An adult's alike it's fun and VERY EDUCATIONAL
Caress Pina
There is SO much to do. The coolest area is the roof top playground. Some staples exist but there are also exhibits that rotate and change. Birthdays are not super expensive and you are allowed to bring in outside food so that's nice.
Keyhan Alavian
Such a great space, and a wonderful rooftop playground. My kids loved it.
Brock Caskey
Love the experience and the open floor plan. Lots to keep the little ones busy and very clean. The kids always get really excited to go. Lots of interactive areas that encourage kids to imagine together and cooperate...pretty cool!
Bonnie “B J” Atchley
My son & his fiancé took his 2 yr old grandson - my Great grandson to the Children's Museum in Everett.
It was fantastic - fabulous - fun & our "little guy" was beyond thrilled. He walked all over the entire 3 floors of awesome interactive activities ... fun, education and very engaging for the kids (& adults).
Every one had a wonderful time!
We will be returning again - soon !!!
Thanks to everyone who made our visit memorable !! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Natalie Williams
Love this Children's Museum! It is the best out of the three I've been to. (Seattle and Mt Vernon were not as good) Great play areas, very large and it has the best outdoor play areas! Fully enclosed on the roof so you know your kids are safe.
Jason Dayley
We come right when it opens and often press on toward closing. There is a lot going on here. The kids want to stay just at the water table area for like an hour and a half. My toddlers loves it. My third grader loves it. We live almost 2 hours away, so this is a big destination trip for us. If you live in the area and want to just stop in once in a while get the membership. We sadly can't go that often.
Sarah Somphane
We got a extravaganza membership so my mom or my MIL can take our oldest son if I need a break. But i personally use the membership 2x a week on average and my son has a blast.
The museum is set up into different experiences the rooftop has a large instruments section, a dino dig, and a huge play structure with slides at different heights to accommodate all different ages.
The main floor has a cafe, vet clinic, theater, barbershop, tree house, reading area, bus, glow in the dark room, small music room, magnets, brain teasers, air station, farm, train, lodge(building toys, tops, and main stage), another glow in the dark room, water area, toddler only area and airplane.
The lower level has party rooms, classrooms, art studio, place to eat (bring your own or buy some snacks at the museum store), and construction zone.
You can always buy entrance in to see for yourself before deciding in a membership, but if you do decide later on to become a member your admission can be prorated for that day. Every 3rd friday night they have a free night as well. It's a lot of fun!
J Ko
My wife, my toddler son had a great time at the place. Friendly staff and cool stuff to look at and play with. I daresay my wife and I had more fun than my son. He had no idea how anything worked, so he was fixated on the train set.
All in a all, great time.
Amanda L
It is so much fun for our two year old. Beautiful and creative place to bring him.We come down from bellingham every now and then. They tried to charge us 39 bucks for our one child, my husband and I. Absolutely crazy. Other than that, and the mass amount of people, we love it lol
Alex Tanielian
It just keeps going! So much to do and it's all maintained very well. I also noticed staff continuously waking around checking things and people. We could spend the whole day here easily. You do have to pay for parking but it's not bad. Best to get here early as the line gets long and it gets crowded quickly. Make sure to explore all the floors! Only drawback is they charge for adults too so if you brought the whole family along to spend the day with your kid it might get a bit pricey.
Robbie Speidel
Had an amazing time with the kids. They had a great time and burned that breakfast off from the Maltby Cafe. The water section was pretty awesome and the plus was it was a sunny afternoon so they had the roof top open. Look forward to bringing them back soon.
Jade Barcoe-Walsh
Adorable and lots to do for all ages!
Samia Sanches
My 2-year-old loves this place. They have 3 floors and the top one is an outdoor playground. You can bring your own food and they have a place where you can sit down and eat. My only complaint is that a it is too busy some times of the day.
Melissa Dschaak
My 2 year and 11 year old and myself had a blast! We definitely suggest anyone who hasn't taken their children there to go it's a place for them to run around safely and enjoy learn and have a lot of fun will definitely go back reasonably priced and something to do on a rainy day
Cœur Atypique
Really liked that museum ! Clean, big, lots of different choices ! Just really expensive and the adults need to pay a really high price for doing..... Nothing. (I think I paid $22 for me and my kid who's 4)
The parking is expensive too ($10 if I remember well)....
But inside it is great and my favorite thing is the roof top where there is a huge playground very very nice. We don't see this too much in children's museum so that's really nice
andrea r
We love ICM! The lodge exhibits change a few times a year and there is an enrichment activity rotation (RAD science is a favorite). This is a great place for kids under 10. Our family has kept a membership for the last 9 years. We are in our second year attending Preschool Explorers. Teacher Ginnie is amazing with the kids and really makes preschool time special. Save time by bringing cash for parking, or using a parking app, the pay station is very slow to process cards.
The only negative we have experienced is multiple school field trips (big kids 9-12) scheduled on the same day. The kids are generally not adequately supervised and tend to trample/shove the little kids.
Katie D
Can there be anything more fun for the whole family as there is a rooftop playground outside and inside hidden laser light walls, with a great water play area and scarf air compression tubes that let kids explore basic cause and effects as they move, turn, and explore the opening and closing of the chambers to move the scarves as they fly from the tubes "high" above! With so many areas to explore this is a fun place for kids of all ages from tots to adults!
Ellany Kayce
Fabulous place for kids of all ages. We had an event there and brought lots of food and the staff there were absolutely incredibly helpful and friendly. They had pre-arranged for great activities set up downstairs and then went upstairs with their parents for additional fun activities. Definitely a great place for all ages.
Alisha Sorum
My 2 year old LOVES this place!! Great rooftop dinosaur dig and playground, huge train set that weaves in and out of a mountain, tons of activities that inspire creativity and enginuity as well as an entire area dedicated to water fun!
Christian Georgieff
Our three kids 7,5 and 4 loved this place. Many different areas to play and learn. Everything was age appropriate. We as parents had a blast as well!
Sara W.
This place has something for everyone! My kids had a great time at all of the little exhibits, especially the plane area and the theater. It was pretty crowded when we were there, but we all had fun! We'll be back!
Michelle Anderson
This is a fabulous children’s museum with many activities for all age ranges. The only reason it doesn’t have a five star rating is the exit set up. After hours of play and tired kids , we’re supposed to take them through the gift shop to leave. This always turns a great experience into a horrible crying mess. Let us leave without the hype and sales please. I prefer to donate on my own.
Eric Yue Ma
Decent place for preschoolers. Parking could be better.
Kelly Moore
Kids love coming here. Can get really busy on the weekends. Purchase a membership to get early entry to avoid the large crowds. The Roof top playground is really fun and if the weather has it closed there is plenty to do on the main level or down in the basement.
Candace Wiley
This is a surprising gem in Everett! I have children ranging from age 4 up to the early teens and all of them enjoy coming here. I love the variety of exhibits and that there's a huge outdoor play area on the roof!
Lisa K
Superb Children's Museum!
So much fun to be had. There is an an airplane, bus, train, two-story tree house, reading room, sprawling hands on wooden train set, farm, restaurant, vet clinic, bank, barber shop, construction zone, art studio and theater.
Water room with lots of fun water gadgets, including a small toddler area. There are interactive musical and light rooms.
Toddler play area with fun, colorful and soft climbing structures and a wall unit with air tubes that scarves can be put into and sucked up and out into the room.
There is a large area with tracks you can build and send balls flying down the loops and curves. There are also tables set up with games.
Impressive roof top play area with a dinosaur archeological dig, oversized musical instruments and a huge play structure.
There is an area with tables and chairs for dining and there are snack and beverage vending machines.
There is a construction room with nice murals. The kids can wear hard hats, vests and build things.
There is an art studio where kids can create things.
Birthday parties can be held here.
There is a small museum store.
Kale Johnson
So much to do, hours of very fun activities
seahawkstu
Lots of fun for the kids on a rainy day. It easily gets crowded. Kind of expensive for adults considering we mostly just follow the kids around making sure the take turns. I would recommend lowering the ticket price for the parents. It's lame to take advantage of people. I would give five stars if they had fair pricing.
Leia Davis
This is one of the best children's museum around. They have great permanent fixtures, and have exhibits that are consistently rotated, updated, and replaced.
They have fun read aloud sessions, music, crafts and more. You can always find their schedule on the website. Definitely recommend!
Anton Kedin
Nice place to go with a smaller kid (under 9). Few occupational displays (barber shop, theater, bus, airplane). Few interactive scientific areas (air flows, water physics), few areas to build things. Fun place to spend an hour or two at but not a lot more. Doesn't seem to have a lot for interesting things for older kids.
Karen Minor
This is an amazing place for children. They are taking extra Covid precautions with a limited amount of guests pre-registering and pre paying online. Most parents were thoughtful. Masks required. That said, they have a huge outdoor playground with mostly wood play structure, an awesome slide, and plenty of space to run. The rest is indoor: the bottom floor contains different stations to construct things, like finger puppets and balancing items. The main floor has a pretend airplane, bus, veterinary clinic, pretend restaurant, tree house, water station with balls and the ability to connect pipes to re-route the water flow - they will get wet. There's also air tubes for scarves and balls, pretend theater and a glowing black light area. Staff is very nice and the sessions last 2 hours.
Brooke Baughn
Loved loved loved. Took my now 2 year old for his birthday. Had so many hands on activities. Also the upstairs playground is the best I've been to nation wide. 100% reccomend. Very busy though. Prepare.
Ber James
My kids LOVE this place so much. I would love it if the play times were longer because my twins could stay here all day and never get bored!
Jeff O.
There's lots for kids to do here. Highlights for my little guy were the lifesize airplane cabin, train set, and rooftop slides. The fee was a reasonable $12 and if you are a member of other science centres or children's museums, the admission is free. You should probably check their website for details as they are affiliated with numerous groups.
Dot Ava
It's much more cost effective to get a membership. That way, if you go with your child(ren) and after 15 minutes someone wants to leave, it's not a big deal. My family has been a member for a couple years now, and we love it. As I said, if you have a membership, you don't feel like you've wasted a bunch of money if you have a short visit there, and there is so much to do that you can easily make the cost back within a few trips. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and there are so many different areas to play in! The only drawback is that it can get really crowded, so plan accordingly.
Diana Black
This place is awesome. A really impressive amount of different play rooms. I love that we can play and then go downstairs and have a snack before we head home. The roof top play ground is really cool, too!
Brian Umbaugh
This multi-level establishment is a great place to take my 4 year old, but my 9 year old also finds plenty to keep him occupied. The bottom floor holds a great independent play art studio and a good construction zone that has held soft blocks, conjoining wall panels, or car pieces at different times. The roof holds a play area that you might find at a park, with a decent sized playground equipment, a dig area, and other miscellaneous activities.
The main floor is their main show, so to speak. Water play. Toy trains. Air tubes. Music makers. Play vet clinic and restaurant. Treehouse with reading center. Clean, high quality environment to take the kids for extended play time.
Their activity calendar is full of decent activities that could stand to be a little cheaper for members, but I suppose it's not a non-profit agency and the facilitators need extra scratch for the effort.
There are two glaring reasons in my opinion to knock it down a star. The first results from their success; it's spectacularly busy on evenings and weekends. If you're a professional parent like me, just take the kids during the weekday mornings. If not, good luck. The second is the lack of wandering supervisory employees. If it's busy, there can be kids on top of kids. The parents often let their kids run wild while they sit and tap away on their phones or chat with their friends. I've had to repeatedly peel apart kids and ask kids to behave around my little one or others' little ones. It would help if an employee wandered through and helped settle any inter-child skirmishes. Parents should do it, yes, but they don't.
They don't change a lot about the exhibits in this place, except for a large room that holds different themed activities (currently a campground setup). However, a membership is usually worth the money because the kids can visit different parts of the museum on different days. The single ticket prices would make me hesitant to bring the whole family without that membership. You don't want to spend $50 and have your kids melt down after an hour.
Have fun at Imagine!
Diane Kaufman
Took my 4 year old grandson and he had a blast. He has been there before and absolutely loves it. I highly recommend this for children of all ages, even the parents and grandparents were having a wonderful time.
Tara Butler
Awesome place!! If you have am EBT card it is only three dollars per person! So awesome ! Regular admission is 10.70 per person so that's amazing!! We were there for almost three hours and still didn't get to see/do everything!!
Karethra Bex
Plenty of activities to choose from! Separate areas for 'littles' (3 and under). Lots of interactive areas as well as science lab and we even were able to touch walking stick bugs! A wonderful adventure for the whole family!
Shannon Santana
Such a wonderful First time experience. Loved it, so much to do for kids. I am amazed on all the hands on things kids can do. So much hands on experiences for kids to use there imagination from riding a train to how it looks in an airplane and what's in a pilots room and plumbing and how it works etc etc. Just love the activity room with all the table stations to build blocks and other thing. So much creativity. The meuseum gift shop is even cuter to stop in very reasonable prices. Deffinetly going again.
Richard Fuller
Fun indoor play and learning place for young children. There's two separate rooms for parties in the bottom and a open rooftop play area as well. It is a little expensive as kids and adults are same price no matter anyone's age or how much time is spent there.
Shari Segner
If you have children this is the place to purchase an annual membership. There is a small rock climbing wall, children's theatre for dress up plays, water features, big block building areas, puppet shows and so much more. The staff is great and there is a gift shop for visitors coming from out of town.
Avneet Ahuja
My toddler enjoyed here.. lots of fun n educational activities.. must visit place
Virginia See
On the day before Thanksgiving, I brought a group of four children (aged 20 months, 5, 7, and 8) here and we played for 3 hours and could have stayed even longer, except the little one needed a nap. I feel like that says it all right there! Seriously, this childrens museum completely rocks. We have been probably 10-12 times over the 8 years since we had children, and it never disappoints. Favorites include: the dancy light room (too hard to explain, you just have to see it), the dark room with glowing pegs and shapes, the scarves blown around in pipes, the farm area, the pretend play restaurant and vet office, the treehouse, the airplane, the downstairs art room and construction room (in both, the projects/materials are always changing), and the rooftop playground.
American Made
My daughter and I are always coming here. Her and I love it, with so much for the kids to do. If your children walk they will have activities for them. Kids running around going to one activitie to another. At this age my daughter plays on the stage. She wants to be an actress.
Kai D
It was EXTRA packed when I went there during spring break but that's not a surprise. I always love this place no matter what. Quick check in (I'm a member) discount in the shop. I was VERY impressed by their response to a lost child. Every single employee, even those on breaks, immediately dropped what they were doing and systematically searched the building and even with all the extra chaos of spring break the kid was found in less than 3 minutes.
Kyra Shantice James
This place is amazing for toddlers ! My children love it, especially the water room. It's creative and imaginative for the kids. Every time we come here or is so hard to get the kids to leave .
Charles Bosse
Imagine is an amazing museum, with a well utilized and fairly large space, amazing water area, and a ton of fun interactives that are neither too large and sparse (like Seattle Children's Museum) nor too small and crowded (I won't pick on anyone for this, but if you are a parent, you have definitely had to redirect your kid because a particular spot was too popular and so basically "full", which is a little less of a problem at Imagine than other museums I have been to). There is a huge and well appointed outdoor space, on the roof (with tall enough walls that you don't think about being on the roof). There is even a nice art space and a "construction" area in the basement, seperated from the inevitable chaos of the main floor. The staff are all friendly and there are even occasional stage shows.
Which all adds up to being worth the 45 minute drive from my house, instead of going to the Seattle Children's Museum. The Bellevue children's museum is also good, but not the clear winner that Imagine is.
Andy B (Freighttrain53)
3 stories of nothing but fun. spent 4hrs and still only did 1 floor. we'll definitely be back soon. even with 2 kids there was something for both of them to do. good job Museum for capturing a kids imagination and feeding tomorrow's creativity.
Erkan Kara
Kids enjoyed in that place so much. We had a membership for Telus Science World in Vancouver BC so that we have free entrance to imagine children’s museum during membership. That was awesome. The only thing is you are having hard time to take kids out :)
Jen S
This place is great
For kids under 6. Lots of stuff to do. Dobt go there on the weekend past 1 pm. Or you wont be able to walk and even play it's so busy. Also they do one free day a month for everyone.
Jeff Livingston
My parents & I were surprised at how fun & engaging some of the exhibits here were, and my 2.5 year-old loved every one of the 90+ minutes we spent here. Highly recommended if you're in the area & looking for a way to entertain little ones.
Alaa Ghazi
The place is amazing, both of my kids love it. Parents on the other hand is another story. If you cannot control your kids OR if you do not know how to teach them to wait for their turns, you should not be welcomed at these places because you bring them bad reputation.
Julie Mellick
My kids & I are rarely disappointed when we visit the Imagine museum. If the roof top playground is closed that is disappointing, but there is plenty to do inside.
The standard exhibits provide great structure & they make small tweaks or improvements all the time. The special exhibits are fun & everything provides hands on experiences. Kids ages 5, 6, 7, & 9 stayed active from open to close. The water area provided 60 - 90 minutes of entertainment.
I like that you bring your own food & eat downstairs. I suggest an early or late lunch so you get a table.
Bethany Granroth
What a great place to bring your children!! Staff is friendly and I would definitely recommend this to anyone with young kids. A safe place to sit and let your kids run around and explore!! Great for rainy days!
Hillary Sibley
Spectacular...way better than the one in Bellevue. So much more for the kids to do. The Art and science docents or staff were amazing. Exceptional experience!
Alissa Main-Barich
Love this place. Slightly over priced though for what is offered. My older kids grew out of enjoying most things here by age 8-10, so majority of things are for younger children. Having to pay for all people age 1+ gets pricey when our family 5 wants to go watch my 2 year old enjoy herself and it's over $50. Wish they offered a family day rate or something.
Jason Honaker
I love this place, great space to bring younger kids. My 6 year old loves it as well. Go for the year pass if you live in the area and think you might visit more than once.
Nathan Warren
Awesome place for a wide range of ages. There's definitely more than enough to keep any child happy. All the toys are in excellent condition, and there are exhibits you just can't quite set up at home
Ariana Kenney
We always have so much fun when we go here. It get super busy, but there are so many activities it is usually fine. We really love the early Saturday morning hour for museum members.
Min Kwon (Cloud)
I've been to many children's museum and this one is one of my favorite. Lots of variety of things to do, such as going inside a airplane and become the pilot, be the choo choo train conductor and also the bus driver. Water area is nice, just gotta be careful because it's little slippery. Outdoor area is really nice as well, has a huge dinosaur fossil/bone digging area. I highly recommend to go have fun with your little one.
Sara Sunshine
So MUCH YES to this place. Interactive play and learning and can easily spend an entire day here and not get to each exhibit. It's great if the science center isn't an option or Seattle isn't your thing. Only thing its lacking is a cafe of some sorts but they do allow you to being in your own food and drink.
Alicia Jackson
It was my first time to this place and it was great. Very themed for kids and entertaining for adults. The venue is NOT stroller friendly (good to know ahead of time). I don't remember seeing any place inside to buy food or coffee. The entire place seemed clean.
lee-ann ward
I took my grandson last week he is almost 8 yrs old and he liked it after he found another kid there his age the water play wasn't really all that fun I did find the "sand" interesting it's tiny pieces of tan rubber which is great all that matters is he had a good time
Tom Wood
Took grandson to the museum with Kelley, mom and dad. Wyatt was totally fascinated, great time!!
Hope andor Brian AshworthHart
Wonderful experience with our 3 year old daughter. She absolutely loved every single station.
Neb Like
A lot of variety and interactive fun!
Melissa Hemminger
Perfect place for kiddos that are ages two to about 6! Perfect way for young active kids to learn without even knowing it thru all the play activities they have.
Carol Simmons
Great place. So much variety. We had a blast. Be sure to go up on the roof.
Alicia Thorsteinson
One of my favorite places to take my girls! They have a blast here and I think us parents do too!
Levi Charles
kids really loved it. prices were reasonable we went with 6 of us and the kids didn't wanna leave. only spent a hour there so there's gonna be a next time so they can play a little more.
Emily Barton
This is an amazing children's museum with so many different activities to keep your little ones busy. The rooftop playground is fantastic and the indoor water tables are my son's favorite.
Rsi I.
We live down the street from the Museum & this was our first time coming here! Im glad we found out about it! We'll definitely be going more often. There are so many activities for kids of all ages to do!!! My toddlers loved it!
Paul Ikeda
Excellent place for our 2 y/o. Good variety of activities and clean environment. Would advise going as early as possible on the weekends since it gets really busy.
Lucy Dunlap
It's a very fun for my 9-year old daughter.
Some exhibits are a little young for her, but there are also a bunch of exhibits for older children. Each one develops skills for your young ones.
Mrs Mendivel
I wish I knew more about this place before we visited. We had limited time so I thought it was over priced at first, till I saw ALL the fun stuff, you need time in this place!! What a great place for kids!! The roof playground was amazing.
How to kids: Learn things!
Such a fun place! My kids love it age 4 and 6. There's so much to do to keep them entertained for hours.
Brad
Definitely a must for young kids !! They sure have fun there. Bring ear plugs. Lol
Sam M
My kids love it here! The facility is very clean and well taken care of. The only issue I've ever had was a staff member ignoring me at the register, other than that its been great.
Maleeta
Everett takes the cake over Seattle Children Museum. Its condensed in exhibits and the toddler cool down room is great. Cant wait for the heat so we can enjoy the roof top lounge. Although, the dinosaur area on the roof has recycled tire bits. Which in my opinion, isn't the safest for the tots to be rolling in and at times...sampling.
timothy gurno
My 2 year old loves it, only issues I have are some areas are hard to stand around to watch young kids. The other is some parents not watching thier kids. Other then that great place, will be going again, and again.
David Millard
Impressive, and very worth the 10 dollars. Good stuff for kids of most ages, even toddlers. Parking is lacking and too expensive. The musuem let us come in and out all day, so we could get lunch whenever we wanted in town. A lunch room is available, for bringing your own lunch.
Sarah Walls
We arrived about 11 a.m. and parking was a bear. There's a very small parking lot behind the Museum, but half of it can't be used legally. We visited yesterday and a lot of people were parking illegally. I went in and asked about parking and was told we needed to park only in the spaces with 3 digit numbers, not 2 digit. Otherwise we could get towed. So I went back outside, drove around for nearly half an hour before I got a spot. It was nuts. I almost left just because of the frustration. We stayed about an hour and my children (11 and 6) got bored. I think this is a great space for younger children, 6 and under. Older children will get bored sooner than later. I don't think we'll visit again, but I would still recommend for folks with younger children. Just be prepared for the parking nightmare.
Stephen Straub
The kids love spending time here. Lots of fun activities and well maintained. There's even a lunch room downstairs and an art department, and a science room where they taught a quick class on my son's field trip.
Starr Lilley
Kid friendly great time with family
Hannah Burke
One of the best children’s museums. I love all of the rooms and so do the kids! It is nice to go on the roof and get some fresh air and sun and let the kids enjoy the giant playground.
Larry Ormand
A totally cool place to go. It has wonderful exhibits for sensory people line autistic folks. We had a great tone exploring all of the displays of water, light, sounds and texture. Totally recommend this place to everyone.
Bryan Klein
Great experience with the kids aged 9 and 5.
Northernview Apartments
Great place to have many educatioal fun experiences but watch out for the bullies.
Shweta Shanbhag
My kids loved this place. Interesting activities for children. They were busy for 6 hours with water activities, onsite aeroplane, air maze, music activities etc. It was very cold for the outdoor activities in Dec however that didn't deter the kids
Ashley Whiteley
This place is amazing! When I took my son here for the first time he didn't want to leave we spent all day there, the people that work there are so nice. I'm taking my daughter for the first time today and my son can't wait, if I could give them a 100000 stars I would.
Ronbat Batchelor
If you have kids or grand kids and are near Everett this is a must see.
Taccat Aylesworth
Get there on time! It's a great place for your kids to play for 2 hours straight. And there are lots of local restaurants for afterwards.
A'Channa Kichiwa Valle
Great place for children. Interesting for adults. Took the grand daughter. She was busy and interested throughout our stay. Well worth the trip. A little pricey. Why don't you have a senior discount? But otherwise great.

We love coming here for the free admission night, every third Thursday of the month. My son can get all of his energy out, he gets to play ay the water table, the air tubes, and he loves the airplane and putting the cargo down the hole.
Jon Carbone
An incredible place to visit with children. So much to do inside and a rooftop playground, which was something my kids had never done before. Just an awesome place to visit. They also have reciprocity with other science centers.
Elisabeth Leitzen
Really cute areas for kids to play and lots of places to sit while they do it. Rooftop play area is really cool and fun to run around and play with the family.
Debora Nevins
Nice fun place for kids. But I would love a bigger area for toddlers. It gets crowded so fast and the little ones end up being pushed or bumped to by the bigger running kiddos. It is very clean and well kept.
Lyndsey B
Preschooler heaven. Lots of fun activity stations, so plenty for everyone even on a busy Saturday. They sell a couple prepackaged snack items in the gift shop ( crackers, etc) so don't arrive expecting a snack bar. You'll be too busy running around anyway
Samantha Manley
Great interactive place for kids to learn and burn energy. We spent hours on the roof level playing and exploring. We've got many times and we're never disappointed!
Jesus Gomez
We are members for 2 years now. It is the best kids museum in WA comparing to others. Clean, nice employees and the roof top playground is a top notch.
Jonathan and Andrea Pellegrino
We've enjoyed taking our kids here over the years. It's a great facility for learning and playing. Friendly staff and regular changes to the rooms keeps us coming back year after year.
Karthik Suryanarayanan
My 2 year old loved visiting this museum and playing with the aeroplane and train exhibits in the first floor. The water display fun activities were top notch and kept him entertained for quite a while. The top floor has an open play area/Jungle gym with please ty of slides and musical xylophone displays. I highly recommend twice a year visits to this museum. Most activities are STEM related and definitely learning based for kids under 8.

An absolute gem for kids, (okay, and adults needing a breather.)
Incredible opportunity for kids to play and explore. There is so much here, and it's evident right when you walk in the door. Easy to fill an afternoon of fun and lose track of time.
We're not members here, but it would easily be worth it if we lived close.
We purchased a seperate membership where we live that is in the ASTC program network. Fortunately, this museum is included as well, the only dowside is this one only covers two adults and two children when using that pass.
Great museums in the Seattle area. This one's our favorite.
Lucinda Day
Lots of activities and space. Staff is constantly cleaning. Great way to spend an afternoon with the young ones. Lots of fun for grown ups too!
Eduardo Heredia-Romero
Gone here as a kid, and now I volunteer here.
Feels alive in a way. And have all this themed areas for the kids to play at.
Great place to bring your small kid. Just don't expect it to be easy to take them out.
Della Ethington
Wonderful place to visit with a child. A little pricey, bit worth the money. Many very fun learning experiences there. Great model trains set up. Many interactive exhibits. Too much to tell!
mkroberts11
Maybe it's because my kids are a bit older (4 year old twins,) but we found this particular museum underwhelming compared to the Everett children's museum
Brenden Rodgers
It was really fun for the kids and had lots of things to look at. I felt during our visit it lacked activities for the kids and the only art activity was bingo dobbers. More innovation on activities I feel would go a long way.
Haunani Drake
Went on a whim and became HUGE fans right away. Make sure to check out the top floor playground and come prepared to have fun yourself. You can get a stamp for multiple enteries in one day. Fun for small tots through elementary aged children.
Lleon
A great place to let my toddler run around and learn new things! He's grown more confident each time we come and it's great to watch him grow! Year membership was a must.
Cassie Kinghorn
I made my children's dreams come true by taking them. Children's museum has the perfect amount of things to do without being to overwhelming
Tyler Ware
I was really impressed with this Museum. lots of fun things for kids and adults to do. very affordable, great place for family, friends, birthday parties, or just a fun afternoon with the kids. will definitely visit this Museum in the near future. awesome experience. very fun
Margo Gough
My 2 year old loves it here. Great variety of activities. Our train set at home will never match up to yours. It's his favorite thing to play with there
Lloyd Smith
A great place for the kids to get and education and have fun. A lot of events happen outside on various weekends. You can get a family pass for $100 for unlimited visits from 1 year. A great place to go on rainy days!
Jennifer Marier
My daughter can't get enough of this place. It can get extremely crowded, great to help learn patience, sharing and meet new friends. Looking forward to using our annual pass this year.
Jigar Mehta
My son had great time here. Go before the sunset and kids enjoy the rooftop activities a lot. Nice variety of activities, parking is steep and entry fees is heavy but it's worth it.
Raymond Chan
The layout is well thought out for kids under 3 and infants. There is lots to do for my 6 year old while keeping a 3 year old busy. The rooftop playground is hugh.
Michael Murray
Went with some family including kids age 4, 3, and 2. All of them enjoyed several parts of the museum. The exhibits were well made and large enough that waiting for turns wasn't necessary. Lots of variety in the exhibits.
Chucksta M
Great place to take the kids. Lots of stuff todo there.
Javier Negrete
Such a cool place! My 2 year old son loved it. Awesome spot for kids.
Rebecca Ellison
Just had my son's 3rd birthday party at the Childrens museum and it was awesome. Staff was great and the room was perfect. We are members there, so we knew it would be a hit and all the other kiddos loved it. We live in Seattle, but we make the trip to the Everett museum because it is so much better than the Seattle one.
The only reason this is not a 5 star review is:
- 90 minutes goes FAST. It would be nice to have a 2 hour option. With 15 min set up, it was a little fast to get everyone in fed and celebrated in just an hour with another 15 min to clean up afterwards . Some kids were rushed through eating :(
- There was an additional couple of kids who came (unexpected) the day of the party, and we had purchased the (great) party bags for the kiddos, but they were not able to make any additional party bags day of since their birthday coordinator is a M-F position. So sadly, we had to deal with a couple of sad kids who didn't get a party bag.
Over all, a fabulous experience, and one we will happily do again
Joshua Sneed
Holy poo! Too much to consume in a single day. Rooms upon spaces upon exhibits upon areas. Have you ever wanted to attempt to over stimulate your child? Well, this is the place where that is going to happen. Well worth the money, but make sure the parent to child ratio is close to 1-to-1 or keeping track of the carpet rodents will be tough. Be warned they use an "exit through the gift shop" model.
Elizabeth Leon-Guerrero
I went here with my nephews when they came up to visit for the holidays. They had a really great time, and I wasn't expecting to, but I had a really great time too, haha. There was so much to do - I felt like we all got our money's worth. The marimbas on the roof were my favorite part :)
Robert Polus
Expensive but worth it for a small family outing(small because the price can quickly become quite high with large parties) once you've gone through all the downstairs activities and find yourself ready for the upstairs you'll understand why the trip was well worth it! So make sure to go on a sunny day!
Sean Le
Love this place, best children's museum I've been to. Also with the expansion it's only going to get better.
Joseph Swanson
This place is absolutely amazing! When my daughter first walked in, she couldn't decide what to do, so ran from place to place. The only downside for those who cannot handle crowds, it is very packed with kids and parents.
Stormborn 2016
Great place rain or shine. Lots of ways to engage little ones that aren't TV. There is a music room, stage, treehouse, waterworks table, airplane, outdoor play structure, dinosaur exibit, huge room with big builting blocks, daily art projects, black light room, pretend vet clinic and restaurant. Also a section for 3 and under. Membership is worth every penny. Less crowded on weekdays and sunny days but great fun for 10 and under every time.
Renato Mariscal
The place is amazing, but quite crowded, uncomfortable for those who are still trying to have some isolation post-pandemic.
Enrique Mancilla
The kiddo had a blast here, even though he's 2 there was plenty of stuff for him to interact with. I recommend the music class. Can't wait to go back, staff was awesome and place was clean.
Matison Sue
Went here recently and my daughter had the absolute best day! Lots to do and wasn't too crowded even on the weekend.
Suhas GM
A very good place for kids to explore new things, learn new concepts and have fun
Charlie Matthews
Great place to let a kid go wild. Lots of cool stuff to play with. Had a little fun messing with things myself. There is a parking fee ($3 min).
moran may-rom
This place is the best one for toddlers in the area my girls love it there
Graham Johnson
Amazing place! So much to do for a variety of ages. The playground on the roof is amazing if the weather cooperates. Signed up as members after the first visit!
Clint Richardson
My wife and I had such a good time with our four year old granddaughter. So many stations to check out. The play area upstairs was outstanding. Was worth the admission price.
Rachel Argo
Such an amazing spot for toddlers and older kids
Jeremiah Anderson
I love taking the children here for birthday parties or.... just for a fun day of exploring and learning....creativity and imagining things. It's a great place to play and have fun as a family.
Travis Garrison
Really good food for the price point. I got the Tikka Masala and was very impressed. I ordered it on the spicy side but it wasn't overpowering and they didn't try to cover up a lack of other flavors with heat.
It's not a overly fancy restaurant, but better than it's strip mall exterior might imply.
Prapti Devi kaur
Take your kids its a best place for toddlers and kids to explore and play. Because of covid they have now different system for member and non member people.
Tony Brandner
Bit expensive when you have two adults along, but a really fun place to visit.
Trevor Dennison
Great place to bring the kids - suitable for a wide variety of ages, at least up to 10 or so. Bring a spare set of clothes because the water area is a huge draw and they WILL get soaked.
Quinn Damerell
Great place! But their space is a little lacking for children under 2-3. But for kids older than that, they will have a great time.
Dale Vertatschitsch
Our kids love this place. Easy to get in and out of, the membership program (early hours on certain days) also just makes it a better experience since there is less of a crowd
