Reviews of Sharlot Hall Museum
This place is pretty cool! Had fun checking it out with my son. Multiple buildings to check out. Fun way to learn a little history and would recommend this place for sure.
Wonderful museum about the history of Arizona, dating back to prehistoric times. Many informative exhibits. We learned so much about the state we call home! Highly recommend.
Really fascinating place. Gorgeous grounds and knowledgeable docents. Very Educational
We came from Phoenix for a Living History event and it was so worth the trip! Beautiful grounds with a Memorial Rose Garden honoring the towns influential women. Multiple pioneer buildings with Volunteers in character telling you about life during the era. We especially loved hearing a gentlemen explain to us in detail what it would have been like travelling on a horse drawn coach through the southwest. The printing press was super cool and they let my son print a newspaper page. Also the woman explaining medical practices of the day and showing different tools and their uses was very interesting and personable. We got there an hour after it started- so about 11 am, till the Event was over at 3. We should have come earlier because it was not long enough to see everything. Our kids were super interested in everything too. Absolutely will be back sooner than later!
The grounds/gardens are immaculate. Every docent was friendly and knowledgeable.
Children under 12 are Free!
I was very impressed with the indigenous portion of the museum and the short film about the hilltop sites.
This is a MUST SEE when visiting Prescott.
I loved it! My wife and I went earlier in the day and I was amazed at all of the exhibits there are a total of 9 buildings. And we spent over a hour in just one of them. Will have to return again to truly appreciate the stories told. One of the best parts of our visit to Prescott!
Very Educational, Beautifully done ! This is a 2 ½ - 3 hour museum self guided tour (with someone at each building to give history). The people were very nice and ready to answer any questions you may have. I definitely recommend going to Sharlot Hall Museum.
This was a very interesting and educational little spot. Took us over 2 hours to get through but we watched a few videos and read lots of plaques. There were friendly attendants everywhere eager to offer up knowledge. My daughter really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. I learned more than I thought I would here including a random fact: George Washington was 6'4"! Great place to come with or without kids!
Love it there was multiple houses to see you got to see the actual size and how they lived. Or you can ask explored by yourself or to bring your kids of all ages and very informative. If you are curious how they lived and what their statuary and how big things were come to see
The volunteers were all so amazing - friendly, informative. They really made the visit. This was a neat museum with lots to see and learn for those interested in history and how things used to be in the early days of Prescott/Arizona. Plan to spend at least a couple hours!
Beautiful must see experience right downtown.
Amazing museum with soooo much history.
Fantastic experience. The Sharlot Hall museum is a wonderful place. The docents are very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot here. Anyone interested in the history of central Arizona would love this.
This was our 1st visit in over 20 years. If you haven't been there in a while go back for a visit. The history is amazing. Allow several hours. Several houses & log cabins plus a huge bldg. in the back. We really enjoyed it.
There's a lot more to explore at this museum than I thought before I went. A few historic buildings, a number of recreations, and some really great exhibits about life in early Arizona. The museum is a quick walk from the square in Prescott and would be a nice stop for families.
Brought our 4th & 5th grade classes on a tour. The staff was knowledgeable and very willing to share their knowledge with our students. Great museum full of amazing historical artifacts.
Nice museum with 9 different buildings to explore. Restrooms and water fountains available. Lots of information to see and hear throughout.
iam a huge fan of museums and this one ranks up there pretty high on my list of favorites! we went when the ‘living history’ was going on. people dressed up as the part in the buildings who portrayed actual people from the past. they were very knowledgeable and added much flair to the experience. a must do in Prescott!
Beautiful museum. Plenty to look at and learn about.
Very informative and friendly staff. Beautiful grounds and buildings full of so much interesting history of Prescott. We really enjoyed our time to the fullest. Highly recommend going.
Wonderful facility and worth every penny. Tells the complete history back to the dinosaurs of the area on up through modern civilization. Went here on a field trip with my kid's class.
This place was beautiful! So much history. Takes about 2 hours if you take your time. Lots of neat stuff 🙂 went on a Saturday and wasn’t packed at all. …
Great place to learn about the history of Prescott. I recommend this place. 12.00 for adult entry. Staff was helpful. Most buildings were air conditioned.
This Museum was well worth the admission there's a lot to look at with lots of Art & Gardens it was a wonderful stop the children thought it was great
All I can say if you have never been here you need to. A great hands on muesum will many historical building and display about the history of Arizona and Prescott Valley. The one item that makes so great is the Docents. They are very knowledgeable about the history and great to listen to.Grouds are beautiful and just make you want to sit outside and enjoy.
Very neat museum and fun to look through. Staff is very friendly and provide great historical background.
Wonderful place to visit, super knowledgeable and friendly docents. It's like talking a walk through Arizona territorial history. Very interactive and fun for all ages!
Always a fun time! Exhibits are frequently updated, always something new to see. My 6 and 8 year old really enjoy the Beasts exhibit. The Mammoth skeleton is awesome, it was found about 25 miles away from Prescott! Kids under 13 are free, I would highly reccomend this museum to anyone local or visiting!
One of the coolest museums i've been. This open air museum has the original governors mansion built in that location and was home to the governor of the territory of Arizona. It also has old farmhouses and so many other cool things. The gift shop is stocked with amazing things to help you remember your trip. It is located around several good restaurants. So much to see, I've been 3 times and I am already planning a trip back!
Knowledgable and friendly docents guide you through Arizona's history in this museum. Actually several buildings and gardens. Allow several hours to fully tour.
Very friendly staff, I would like to visit again. My toddler loved running outside in the rose garden & hearing cicadas around the crab apple tree
We've driven by this Museum a few dozen times on our visits to Prescott. We finally decided to check it out. Definetly the right choice. This place is awesome! It's incredible how much information you learn in just 1-2 hour tour around the grounds. The volunteers through out the tour were very knowledgeable on all the great facts about the museum. Great learning and family experience. In the background of the picture is what's called the Governors Mansion. Arizonas first 2 Governers lived in it at the time of their term.
Fascinating and lovely staff! I learned so much about Prescott! About the Hohokam and various tribes and local history.
Very interesting museum. There are several buildings on site. Each has a story to tell.
Really informative and fun museum. Expect to be here at least two hours if you read a bit and talk to the staff.
As a historian, I visit a lot of museums. This is one of my favorites! It is so fascinating, and the volunteer tour guides are wonderful -- especially Allan Cooper. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Sharlot Hall and the Prescott area. I would be happy to have him teach me any topic he is interested in! I visited the museum on a whim because I was in Prescott visiting a friend and waiting for her to get done with work -- I live in Michigan, but I will absolutely be going back to the museum the next time I am in town!
Beautiful venue with all the gardens and outside points of interest as well as the indoor museums
Great resource and information on historic Prescott homes. Was able to provide old photos and history of fun 1875 house purchase.
This place is very educational! If you jave kids or don't know about the history of Sharlot Hall you should definitely come!!!
Excellent museum. What really made the experience positive for our kids was the scavenger hunt and fantastic volunteer guides placed at strategic points who gave great insights and involved the kids with cool questions.
I'm from the UK and visited the museum when I was on holiday in 2016. It is probably one of the best museums I've ever been to in my life. It brings together a wealth of artefacts, which are beautifully displayed in an extensive number of exhibitions. Unfortunately I didn't have time to look round everything, but I'd love to go back again one day.
Amazing museum, with interesting exhibits and knowledgeable docents.
Every second Saturday is living history day. In June and October there are often art festivals.
This place is very cool and informative on cultures and history.
It's a beautiful museum!
An excellent museum. A must see if you are in Prescott area.
About 4 acres, well used. Interesting museum with houses from the past with mostly original furnishings. Beautiful rose garden.
Simply a wonderful campus to spend as much time as you want exploring the history of the Prescott area. The volunteers/guides are friendly and openly excited to share...great to see the interaction with the younger ones.
Visiting Prescott we discovered this gem and spent 2 hours exploring the history associated with it. It was well laid out and each building had a docent who was well informed to educate us. I plan on bring a group back here to share this wonderful experience!
Incredible Arizona history. The Territorial Governor's Mansion is there along with the oldest light house in AZ and much, much more.
Thank you for hosting the Prescott Indian Art Market. First timers as artisans and the staff, volunteers blew my mind! Such great hospitality, awesome energy and great vibes! Thank you!
A great museum and only 10. For seniors. We couldn't really see it all in a day. Lots of knowledgeable people that volunteer there. Thanks Larry Neece for your information you shared on our tour.
Amazing history. Excellent exhibits. Highly recommend
Great little museum. Enjoyed a few hours with my 10 year old son. He had fun learning some AZ history. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
An excellent place to learn about Prescott's history.
Nice place to visit at least once. Informative with a good history lesson about Arizona and its start. Its awesome that Ms. Hall saw the importance of preserving history and did something about it. Much respect. We loved the gentlemen in the Governors Mansion! He was so great and enthusiastic to share the information and stories about the home and its history! Thank you.
Great place to learn about local history as I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 …
One of the best museums in Arizona.
Very reasonable price. We spent hours there - lots to see. Wonderful descriptive installations.
Very fun to see all the old buildings.
Very nice museum. Friendly and informative docents.
Amazing place to learn history about early modern Arizona history and Prescott pioneers. Great value for the time you can spend here.
A great experience shared with my daughter and grandson!
Loved it! Displays of history and the grounds are amazing. Terrific for all age groups.
Really well done retrospective of Arizona history. The exhibits are top quality across the 9+ buildings on this 4 acre facility. I learned a lot from the static displays and especially from the dedicated docents.
Loved the scavenger hunt experience. It was for kids but I still took one and made the experience very fun. Volunteers and staff were very knowledgeable.
A wonderful stroll through the history of Prescott and its surrounding areas. This museum is a must see for anyone who loves to learn about changes that occur with the progression of time.
Wonderfully displayed historical items and dioramas. Ms. Hall was quite the interesting and avant-garde Lady!
A great place to bring school-aged Kids.
A must see in Prescott Arizona depicting turn of century life in rural Arizona.
My kids favorite place to visit on Living History days.
I live in Prescott. I went to the Native American Art Show. It was a wonderful show and a great learning experience. Has the oldest AZ log cabin on the property....amazing.
What an absolutely amazing museum. All of the workers and volunteers have done an amazing job and clearly care about the museum, this was such a gem. I visited on a weekend trip from the valley, and would happily visit again and plan on it.
Sharlot Hall Museum is a wonderful property and exhibit! Give yourself plenty of time to appreciate and enjoy all there is to see.
The grounds and buildings are beautifully maintained by terrific volunteers who are passionate in the museum's preservation. The docents are very knowledgeable in the history of all the exhibits and are happy to answer questions.
We left wanting to know more and happily found and bought many books that we will enjoy long after our visit to Prescott is over. Thank you to all the docents who made our visit so special.
This history museum of Prescott and the area is really more of a complex with several separated buildings that highlight different aspects of the times. From the original governor's house to the rose gardens, we were truly impressed by the collection and the level of detail. We could have easily spent all day at the museum. The location in town makes it an easy visit before or after lunch. A great stop on our weekend away.
Sharlot Hall would be proud of how this museum continues to celebrate her legacy and inspire visitors. Set in well-maintained gardens, the museum is made up of authentic representations of buildings from Prescott's early beginnings as well as the museum itself. All the docents are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A gift shop is housed in one of the old buildings. There is so much to see and learn here about how the early settlers of Prescott lived, and there are plenty of places outside to take a break which makes it an ideal place for the whole family. There is something to engage every age group here.
Very well done. They have the first cabin built in the AZ territory on site.
Sharlot Hall Museum describes territorial Arizona and prehistoric Arizona before colonization. I was fascinated by native Americans, how they built civilization around the Prescott area, and also the beasts of the ice age. The Museum describes how Native Americans hunted, the tools they created for agriculture, hunting, & building houses. Also how they created pottery for everyday use. Adults $12 for an all day pass. There's a gift shop for souvenirs at the end of the tour.
There is no better place in Northern Arizona to learn the local history than this great, authentic museum. From the original governor'smansion to the brand new education center, this place really has it going on. It's a must visit if ever in Prescott.
Great history museum indeed, so many things to see and learn there, be prepared to spend at least 2.5 hours (maybe more) on a thorough visit. Their volunteer staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, you will really enjoy your visit to this museum.
Love the Rose garden and other trees and shrubs!!!! The folks who work here are very friendly and helpful!
One fabulous museum, you can spend hours. The artifacts are great as are the pictures and write-ups. The early times in main building is terrific for a history if Arizona from early times. The docents are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Not to be missed
Incredible museum campus. Super friendly staff.
Great museum. Learned a lot of the early history of Prescott.
This is a "must visit" for Prescott. The grounds are impeccable and the exhibits are informative. Do yourself a favor and plan to spend some time here.
Awesome for Prescott history! Lots of bits from the Native American era through modern times.
I really enjoyed this gem of a museum in Prescott. They have done a great job preserving the history of not just this woman, but also of the town. I enjoyed everything from the history of the railroad to the gardens. Worth the visit while you are in Prescott.
Went here after the Christmas lights were lit at the courtyard plaza. What a wonderful step back in time! The historical docents in period dress was marvelous and most informative. Despite the pouring rain and the chill in the air, my friend and I had a wonderful time! I HIGHLY recommend spending the $10.00 and prepare yourself to be whisked away to another era!
Love this place. The docents are remarkably knowledgable and share their information in ways that transported us back through history. My family and had left feeling like we had learned so much about our area with a new appreciation of those who came before us.
A beautifully preserved time capsule! We went during a museum event in which period dressed volunteers fascinated us with tales of early pioneers to this area and what general living conditions were like when Prescott was young. The rose gardens are a delight, as well. A parking structure for shaded parking is only a block and a half away. If you love history as I do, you'll enjoy your visit.
A great place to visit in Prescott. You can walk through several buildings and learn a lot about the local history. Some of the building are modeled after the traditional homes the pioneers used.
They have some good parking in the back of the museum, and they also have some places that would be a great place to go picnicking during your visit.
Sometimes they even will host special events where you can learn some of the old skills that were necessary to survive in the wild west.
It was great. There are some great models of early settler living quarters, schools, etc. We brought our 5 year old and 2 year old kids, they enjoyed it. We were there for about an hour, would have stayed longer but the kids got hungry.
We stopped by the gift shop looking for old photos of Prescott. Met a very nice man who directed us to archives where we can order photos.
Very interesting museum! There are many different subjects present here from natural history in Arizona to the history of Prescott. The displays are fun to look at. Going through the whole museum will take a couple of hours, but it is a good experience. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in the history of Arizona.
A quaint but highly interesting museum located in downtown Prescott. The museum is more of a campus, featuring a variety of exhibits showcasing Arizona's history, ranging all the way from pre-historic times to several decades following statehood.
The grounds and exhibits are all well-kept and well-maintained, and the staff there were all exceptionally friendly and informative. For only 9.00 for an adult, it's definitely a worthwhile place to check out.
Broad appeal with so many exhibits and buildings. We enjoyed the variety of military exhibits, as well as pottery, historical re-creations, transport, artifacts, period clothing and home goods. With extremely knowledgeable and helpful docents, this is a wonderful museum. We were disappointed we missed the house and the gift shop which is closed on Mondays.
Best fourth of July I've ever had. Governors mansion had best historian I've ever encountered. As well as being able to learn proper history of Arizona.
My daughters been dying to take us to this museum, she went on a field trip with her friends there and wanted us to experience it too. My family and I finally went, it's so cute and a fun place to explore and learn about prescott,az. It's very inexpensive and it's something fun to experience,my daughter was excited we had a good time.
This place was pretty cool, there was quite a bit of History and a lot of information. Great place for families to go and check out. I would definitely recommend.
this is an excellent quality history museum
Well done museum. Informative.
Beautiful and peaceful place to visit,. historic and interesting. The place is very clean.
I felt like I had gone back in time. The volunteers there do a wonderful job making sure you get the story of the houses and about the city. Prescott has some rich AZ history that everyone who lives here oughta know because it's really interesting.
Not the greatest museum I've been to, but it is the best in Prescott! It is really well done and very interesting and educational. Worth the admission. Give yourself 3 hours to fully take it in.
I love this museum. Besides hosting the original governor's mansion at it's site but spot, there is reconstructed Fort Misery, a school house, the Fremont house and Bashford house. Original buildings moved and preserved. This museum has a print shop with working presses. The museum volunteers dress in period clothing right down to their skivvies and deliver wonderful information with passion and excitement. There is also a larger , newer building that hosts some fabulous pieces of art. Well worth the visit. Try to visit when they are having demonstrations like candle making, corn husk dolls and talk to Bi...she is a wealth of information on medicinal plants.
Beautiful old home. Purchased an Arizona
Christmas ornament for a friend. They need more items for sale in the gift store.
It was a fun experience to see how the past lived.
Quite informative and enjoyable. The separate buildings each have their own character and history. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk with. We highly recommend.
Always interesting special exhibits, done with care - as are the permanent exhibits about Arizona. Once the nation is back to normal I will again enjoy the lectures which are held periodically.
The grounds alone right now are in full bloom. Just beautiful! A must see.
I went with a group, getting a tour guide in the deal. The grounds are very nice and museum bigger and nicer than I expected. Tour guides were great, full of very interesting information. I wish i'd had more time to spend, well worth the trip.
Simply beautiful!! We went during the living history weekend and heard interesting facts about people and places! Definitely planning to go back!!
Enjoyed all of the exhibit features! Prescott has a rich, and interesting history. A true wild west town! It's truly worth a afternoon in beautiful down town 👍 …
Wonderful little stop on our Prescott walk. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the homes are simply beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the tour so they could see what a struggle life was before all the modern conveniences. It was a shock for them to see no TV's or iPads for the kids to play with.
Loved it. Very informative
Great museum! Learned so much about Arizona's history! Excellent curators. Highly recommend.
First time there and in the pouring rain! But the museum is well done and the grounds were beautiful...
Staff was very helpful.
Very well presented museum covering several generations. Excellent displays and real historic buildings. Allow time - up to two hours.
Outstanding exhibitions of Prescott history from pre-human habitation to founding of the state. Knowledgeable docents and lovely gardens. A must visit!
Amazing museum. Quite a surprise. Great western history.
Outstanding history lessons at this location. Really enjoyed all the museums, the hosts, and the well-kept grounds. I would like to return to spend more time reading all the exhibits. Definitely recommend.
Make sure to add this museum to your Prescott "must see" list. Great exhibits and the history is astounding. Make sure to visit with our very own New York gunslinger...Paulie is his name and history is his game!
The "living history" (2nd Saturday of each month) with live actors in costume is amazing and worth the price of admission. Great for arts and kids alike!
Very well maintained museum, its a piece of american history and art. Must visit when you are around Prescott downtown area..
There is an user fee of 9$ for adults and will need around 1~1.5 hr to cover the place
Today we took our time and enjoyed this beautiful place. Everyone is so nice and the information each person gives you is interesting. Take your time. This is a huge place and each building takes time to enjoy. Please put this on your list.
A must-see if you're in Prescott! Fun, interactive exhibits with a good mixture of topics. The gift shop is the best in town - reasonably priced unique items with friendly service.
Indian Art Market always fine art show. We are the artists set up for the weekend.
We came for the Indian Art Market, which was excellent. There was a wide variety of art and programs from many tribes.
I grew up in this town and as a kid I had the opportunity to go here a few times. Recently went back to check it out and still love this place. Its worth a slow stroll if you had some time, the people are great an the museum has and hopefully will continue to be a great place to go
First time there, great museum with a lot to see and learn.
Outstanding western history with surprising variety of unique artifacts and exhibits. Fossils, Indian artifacts, and pioneer artifact exibits across multiple buildings. Recommend this greatly for any one interested in history. Sadly we couldn't come an event day were the blacksmith and printing press would have been working.
Much larger museum than we thought. Something like 7 buildings, all interesting. The volunteers we're very good. We really enjoyed our visit
Loved it and the bathrooms 🚻 are very clean …
Was here at the end of October and took my Granddaughters (3 teenagers). Had a great time. Let them wander and check out what they wanted to and skip what didn't interest them. They had a great time and so did I. Staff was great at answering there questions and engaging them in conversation.
Wonderful Arizona history is found here.
It was fun and well done. They had a scavenger hunt for kids which was great. We really enjoyed seeing this historical museum.
Awesome museum depicting the History of Prescott. Staff is welcoming and friendly with plenty of knowledge of the local history and points of interest around town.
This museum is enjoyable for both adults and children. The exhibits are informative and authentic. The grounds are well kept. We enjoy our visits every time!
I first visited 6 years ago by chance when exploring on my honeymoon. I nowgo back every year at least to this area and have learned somuch of this states early statehood. The museum is a great starting point before exploring the area. Awesome.
Excellent historical museum! Plan at least 2 hours of you want to really maximize your visit!
Very relevant historical context to local immgration Easterners that brought the new wave of pre and post humanity to the western frontier.
As a Library of Congress cardholder, historic research, especially clarification of inaccuracies, I am completely satisfied with Sharlot Hall Museum's efforts to do the same! Every resident of Prescott, Arizona should avail themselves of the opportunity to visit and participate in their efforts!
If you like museums, this is the museum to check out, we were there for hours.
Sharlot Hall Museum not only is a treasure of unique buildings of the past,
it also has outstanding grounds with flowers and great plants to admire... The mature shade trees and walking path with outdoor art add to the experience as well.... Note this site is well within walking distance from the downtown square..... We give thanks to the authors and workers of this site ...
It's beautiful and very well maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed descriptions by the staff. They were really helpful and informative.
Wonderful outdoor museum of what it was like when AZ was a Territory. Beautiful restorations, no silly hype. Outdoor and indoor exhibits, and bluegrass music during the Summer festivals. Go.
Fascinating display of musical instruments from all corners of the earth. Interactive displays and headsets let you listen to narration as well as musical performances. Very enjoyable afternoon, we highly recommend
Interesting displays such as prehistory of area, governors mansion and old time transportation building. All the
Volunteers very knowledgeable. Beautiful rose garden!
Kinda expensive to get in but great to explore
Excellent volunteer docents. Very interesting exhibits. Almost too much to see in one visit.
Premiere Arizona Museum complex. Beautifully laid out, pre-history to present day. Interesting well-informed docents - alert, but not intrusive. A must see when visiting Prescott.
Wonderful experience with knowledgeable historians. Great information about the history of Prescott and the surrounding area.
Was in Educational building for National History Day workshop. Great program for students!
Outstanding. Well restored and volunteers so an outstanding job telling the history you are visiting.
Attended Indian art fest on museum grounds.

The different sections and buildings within the museum was quite educational. Children might get a little bored but for adults it’s quite entertaining and relaxing.
Super well renovated, great docents and exhibits. It is a fascinating museum that anyone interested in AZ history and the west should visit!
Awesome history on Arizona. Sharlot Hall was a fabulous lady! Check this museum out, great for the family or just for a day by yourself.
Really a must see. Many buildings and various topics are covered. Lots of effort, time and money went into this museum. Well worth the small cost of entry.
Attended the Indian Art Show and loved it. The artists work was beautiful and I bought a few items.
Went to the Folk festival. Great music, but the best was a guy by the name of Bob Ward. He is a must see. Plays a great guitar too.
A fantastic walk through time. Cody Bennett is a critical part of keeping the history alive. Thank you to everyone who keeps Sharlot Hall running strong year after year!
Really interesting! I learned a lot and all of the docents are really kind and can tell you all sorts of cool trivia about the historical buildings and their occupants!
Great place to step into the past in an amazing town.
Love the grounds and the museum is very interesting. A must do if you want the history ofvthecarea.
I loved this little museum. Lots of historical information in that little museum. Thanks to the many volunteers who give their time to help others learn a little bit of history.
Outstanding displays and curators! Only problem, lady at the front desk did not tell us we had under an hour before the museum closed, as she took our money!
An informative museum with a variety of things to see and learn about. Definitely worth visiting if you have some extra time when you're in Prescott.
Covers life and animals of prehistoric times and continues through territorial days. Combination of original buildings and recreations.
This place is amazing - a smaller museum that has been put together so lovingly it has wonderful content and beautiful grounds.
The only museum I've visited multiple times and enjoyed every time!
Great complex incorporating several well-presented museums and historical buildings. Well worth a visit, but expect to spend more time than you planned.
Great museum and very nice volunteers.
The grounds are gorgeous, a great place to spend some time and let your mind wander. Lots of info and well put together spaces.
Loved it,great museum that is well staffed with knowledgeable people.
Well kept and inexpensive. Our whole family enjoyed this history museum. There is even a treasure hunt for kids!
really cool place. it’s fun to learn about the history and such, but it’s not the place you would go back to multiple times.
Very well maintained and all the guides were pleasant and informed. I loved touring this little piece of Prescott history!
One of the better museums i have been to. was able to learn a lot about the city of Prescott
Stellar most wonderful place to learn about early AZ history and Native American history.
Exceptional!!!!
Take a step back in time with a trip to Sharlot Hall. All of the artifacts are meticulously cared for and Victorian Christmas celebration is not to be missed.
A pleasurable experience. Didn't expect to find such a wealth of historical Information. Will have to return with more time to really take it all in.
This place is a must see for visitors and residents alike! It has so much more to offer than what you can see from outside. Don't just keep passing by the place - come in!
Beautifully maintained and exhibits were displayed well. Great history museum!
Nice place to walk around and learn some Arizona history.

A delightful museum with something for everyone.
Had a fun time visiting the museum. The staff was very knowledgeable and I learned a ton about Prescott.
So much to read and learn. Nicely divided up so you can catch some fresh air between exhibits n

Nice museum with lots of AZ pioneer history. Great docents and great format for personal tours :)
I've enjoyed the museum before. Tonight was their Winefest. It was a lovely evening with good food and wine.
Interesting museum that is housed in a number of buildings several of them historic. Worth a visit if you are near Prescott.
If Arizona history interests you, you'll like this large museum. Very knowledgeable employees.
