The house tour is closed when we were there, garage and greenhouse are open though. However, even walk around the ground is very pleasant. The huge house is absolutely beautiful. Park ranger is very friendly. One tip, you have to visit the visitor center located on Main Street first and get a pass to visit the Thomas Edison Home. Pass fee is $15pp, valid for 7 days.

Amazing piece of national history right here in my own backyard. Easily a 3 hour visit that is interesting and exciting. Well worth it!

Great tour, tour personal to tell you the history of Edison and his work , a few different buildings to walk thru,highly recommend and also recommend tour of home were he lived, All original period items in home and factory

The place is awesome, quiet, loaded with history and interesting stuff. The personnel is super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back on another occasion.

We visited the mansion on a Saturday and had a great time touring the house. Our tour guide Jesse was very knowledgeable. He told us a lot of very interesting history and answered all of our groups questions. He really did a great job.

Yes, you CAN walk from the national historical visitor center. It's not even a half mile.

Where to the passerby, the buildings betray little evidence of the industries they once started. Discover where America’s greatest inventor changed our world forever., it’s not opened to enter, but you can visit it from outside or spend great time from the park..

Thomas Edison chose a great area to build his house, which was one of the best historical houses I visited.
