Reviews of Lane Motor Museum
Jeremy Daryl
This is one of the best museums I've been to in a long time. I haven't always been into cars or automotive, but I couldn't stop smiling in this museum. I love seeing the classic cars, especially the limited production makes and models.
The cars from the Highway Aircraft Association really stood out to me. This is a motor museum, so they also have Aircraft and Motorcycles and Lightweight Experimental cars and bikes, so I really enjoyed that aspect of it as well. Check out the middle-seat drivers, vans that look like airplanes, and other really cool exhibits! There are also some display cases and archives, but we didn't have time to go through the archives this time.
There's even a truck with a S-10 engine that was made to look like a Hot Wheels Toolbox!
I enjoyed every part of this museum. We were visiting family in Nashville and looking for things to do, and this was the perfect idea. We had a really good time! Thanks!
5 Stars, you should come check this out!

Good clean fun! Play area will keep the kids safely occupied for a long time. An incredible, charming combination of beautiful, rare, unusual, and genuinely ill-advised vehicles. And only $12 per adult with kids 5 and under completely free. We killed an hour and a half and loved it. The bike section is amazing too! I honestly hope to return one day when my kids are older.

I have seen features on television about this place and didn't realize it was the same museum. I am thrilled that we decided to visit. Such a great attraction and awesome vehicles that the average car show person has never experienced. This will be a must see again if I ever get back to Nashville. Definitely carve out 3+ hours if you enjoy autos and maybe an hour if you're not really into them, but a must see if you visit Nashville. The admission to the museum is reasonable and will be the best money spent while you're in town. I'm in awe and loved everything about this place. If I lived in Nashville I'd either find a way to work there or visit on a regular basis.

This place is amazing. I've been in the automotive service industry over 36 years and my son suprised me today with us showing up at the museum. I just moved my son out here from North Carolina it was great walking around and seeing all those amazing vehicles and talking car talk with my son. It is well worth the extra money to take the tour of the vehicles they have in the basement. This building was a bread factory for years and then they turned into an amazing transportation exhibition of all kinds of stuff. The young man that gave the guided tour was very knowledgeable about the vehicles they had downstairs. They even have vehicles down there are for sale.

Worth seeing, this place is a hidden gem for motor and engineering enthusiast. The owner started this project in the 90's. The museum has card from all over the world during the technology and industrial boom. So there's great history and cool vehicles to see. If it has wheels he has it or is getting it. Family friendly, parking is free, and they give Military discounts.

The volume of cars in this museum is incredible, and we didn't even visit the vault. Be sure to watch the little introduction video before you wander around, it tells the story of the museum's beginnings. We'll definitely return and plan to do the separate vault tour next time!

A must-see! I was "gobsmacked" to see so many unique vehicles. I took many pics along with my 18-yr old son. He went down into the vault (for an extra:$10 which was worth it) and appreciated the tour and all the work down there. He read the majority of the info signs and I read a lot too, but it was surprising how few other guests did. We were there about 5 hours!

I discovered this place while looking for something cool to take my son for a father-son outing. My son loves cars and this place did not disappoint! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy which was nice. There were so many unique cars, automobiles, and even bicycles on display! Even the smell of all the vintage cars made the experience even better. Each automobile on display has a sign next to it with history, facts, and specs of them which was cool to compare them all.

Wisited with 9 yo boy. $10 +$3 admission fee. Some interestingly weird cars, bikes, motorcycles and planes can be seen. There was some sort of play place for kids as well. It was a quick trip, about 30 minutes. They also have a souvenir shop. My child was super excited and happy to visit.
Stephen Jarrett
I recommend visiting on a cooler day, it was a nice sunny day outside, not too hot, however it felt warmer inside. A few reviews have mentioned this, and it really is the only downside of the museum. It didn’t take away from the experience for me, but I can understand it bothering some.
I have been to other car museums in the USA, and most are comprised of mostly American cars. The Lane motor museum has a significant amount of foreign cars, and. one offs that I have never heard of. While some of the cars failed to grab my interest because I knew nothing about them others were fascinating. I particularly liked the FIAT section, with fiats of all eras leading up to 2013.
Regular admission is $12. Their presentation of the cars is truly excellent. Almost everything is barrier free, meaning you can get very close. I was surprised there was one car visitors are allowed to sit in! The photo car was a fun wrap up to the experience.
There’s plenty of free parking (inside, outside, and even around the back) and an EV charger.
You could spend all day here, there’s so much to take in. However, I imagine the average person might spend 1.5-3 hours here.
There’s also a bicycle hall, a motorcycle hall, and some airplanes hanging from the ceiling.
Matthew Holland
Spent a couple hours here this past Friday! Very cool but I think I don't appreciate older cars enough to give this place the credit it deserves.
Used to be an old bakery so the place is huge, tons of cars from many different countries.
Nicholas Kimpel
You absolutely won't find a better value for the money as far as activities in Nashville go This was just a gem of a museum, felt like something out of the past both literally and figuratively. They have a fantastic variety of cars, most in terrific condition. Unless you're the most dedicated car person, you've probably never seen nor even heard of most of them. The staff was very friendly, and they fired up and drove some of the cars around as a demonstration. The Johnny Cash museum was twice the price of this place, but Lane motor museum is 10 times better. My favorites were the boxy Fiat 500s. There's also a neat selection of old bicycles and motorcycles to check out. It is absolutely worth your time to visit this very cool museum.
Ross R
Exceptional. Vault tour is certainly worth it too for any serious car nut (there was plenty of spots for both times on a Sunday, it's limited to 30 people each).
Was a little disappointed the VW XL1 wasn't there (and I asked and two staff members said they couldn't find it). Everything else was great though.
Kevin Kaul
We loved the lane Museum. Varieties of cars, bikes and mopeds were great to see and read about. Lot of interesting facts on vehicles I never knew about. Loved the indoor parking.
Michel Francisco
Amazing museum and great history of the evolution of cars. The kids loved the different cars, bikes and motorcycles. I truly do recommend see the different cars and history behind them all.
Danielle Parr
Truly awesome little stop. Quite the collection. I'm not a car person but my hubby is and he really loved this place. Really clean and well thought out and nice employees who clearly care about this place. Very affordable admission for a family too which I appreciate. Def worth the stop!
Joanna Buma-Sterpetti
What a cool stop! We were there for about an hour, but we didn't read every plaque. Lots of cool cars, motorcycles, and trucks! The warehouse was much bigger than we had anticipated and so many cars!
Casey Gordon
This place was really cool. There were a lot of cars and scooters(make and model) we had never seen before. If you like unique cars this is a must see. Park in the garage so you don’t the pre-museum vehicles hiding in there.
GraceD
My first word walking in was wow!
It was a delight to find this jewel in Nashville. Made our trip worth it. Massive amount of beautiful cars from all over Europe and some are just laughable and others are total eye candy. Visit them and get yourself a tiny car for your desk lol
Boston Matt
We enjoyed it so much one of best things to do in Nashville inside. Alot of cars I had never seen before. Very well done. These pics are only a small sample of what they have
Cathy K
Novelty museum with substance and variety. Even for non-hardcore car afficionados, you can easily spend 1-2 hours here. You’ll find cars and things you would never think of, and afterward you’ll have an appreciation for the innovation and transformation of the “wheel” over time. There’s a cute exhibit on bicycles and scooters, plus other surprises. Jeff Lane really poured his heart into this museum and collection, you can feel the love. Added bonus, this place is really close to good food and cafes (look no further than The Horn).
Shepherd Momma Hunt
We had a family diner in back room. Cost a little more than I would have been able to provide but family got it rented. We had to pay to enter which meant we could go see cars. Really neat place. Cars and planes, snow mobiles and bicycles to motorcycles. Guy at front window was nice and helpful. Back room had kitchen with fridge and was a good size room with probably 9 long tables for seating. Overall a great experience! Recommend!
Mary Collins
Awesome place, lots of cars! Not your normal everyday car museum cars either but some really unique ones. If you go, make sure you do the vault tour as well
D.M. Kurtz
Ok, from the friendly greeting to the acceptance of Apple Pay, our experience here started of amazing and ended even better! Our personal favorite was the “aeroplane” car from 1932, discovered in a barn! The live demonstration was epic, cars and history are gorgeous, and the area for kids with the scavenger is a fantastic touch for parents ☺️
Karen Howard
Our first time here. I believe it us a hidden jem. They even have One Car that visitors can touch, sit inside, take photos in, it gives little extra fun, enjoy & imagine how it would be driving down the road in this jem. (Fun idea ☆).
They have such unique vehicles, that you can't see anywhere else in the states.
I do suggest they install more benches through the warehouse (show room), these would help when handicap visitors can sit for a few minutes, then continue enjoying all the amazing cars.
~This would enable older visitors to maybe bring there grandchildren. Or like my husband & myself just enjoy all they have to offer (but our bodies, don't always want to cooperate, lol). Presently there is only one bench inside the entire exhibit.
I do recommend they also have some kind if benches to sut while you come in & purchase your ticket to enter........because if you can't stand long (Like myself, you have to wait while to Cashier rings up, a customer in the gift shop). They truly need some kind of bench close by the cashier to assistance customers, while they wait.
They truly are a must stop in Nashville. If you enjoy cars, then you must see all the unique vehicles. Enjoy.
Alex Jester
This place is perfect for families, kids, wives, AND husbands! I'm a gear head and my wife isn't particularly into cars, but this wasn't purely about horsepower and motors. The vehicles were fun and interesting, with tons of rare vehicles and oddities. Flying machines, bicycles, old-timey experimentals, and more! There's something for everyone of any age and any interest. It was perfect for a slow Sunday afternoon while we were waiting for our evening flight out of Nashville Airport. Our ubers to and from were maybe $9, so it was perfect!
Todd Martin
Great cars and history. Some of these vehicles are extraordinary and in a lot of ways revolutionary. Good for family time or dates. Decent gift shop and ac
Kelsey Dunn
The variety of transportation is amazing. My husband, the car fanatic, was in heaven! My two young sons absolutely loved playing in the kids area. This place is definitely a must see, especially if you have young ones interested in cars!
Dan Shaeffer
Fascinating large inventory of vintage autos & bicycles. Sadly, we did not have time for a basement tour. We will definitely do that another visit
Pat Lood
Interesting car museum to say the least. Decent amount of all things transportation to showcase here. Things like cars, bicycles, motorcycles, airplanes, and boats are on display here. Admission is $12 for an adult. They have museum tours here as well but at certain times of the day. Staff is friendly and can give additional information on certain vehicles if you're interested. Give this museum a try!
Tee Lang
Awesome experience if you like cars. Lots of unique stuff and stuff you don't typically see at car museums. Usually don't see many of the old European stuff
Brian Walters
My favorite destination whenever I travel. There's a new display every time! The staff is excited about the museum, and eager to share any knowledge they have. This is a must visit for any gearhead.
Mike Stanford
This is quite a gem in Nashville. All unique cars, trucks, bikes, motorcycles and stuff I can’t even classify. Some are even for sale. Definitely worth a look.
Catherine Hughes
I've been here before but this was my first vault tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and the collection was impressive. Great way to spend 45 min!
Diana Haxton
My husband and I visited this fall, and while I am not overly interested in cars, this was a really interesting place. It exceeded my expectations and I found myself taking lots of pictures and getting excited when an employee turned one of the cars in. This is a great place for all ages!
Grace Kim
I’m a car enthusiast and loved that we stumbled upon this gem! Definitely pay the extra $6 to do the guided tour where you get access to the basement garage. Interesting stories and you get to see where they service the cars and a bunch of other cars (including my fave the Evo VI)
Donald Rockwell
A very cool eclectic mix of various motor vehicles. Not like any other auto museum you will have been to. Don't expect the normal antique cars you would see at any other auto museum. This is totally different!
Christal Williams
Really nice collection. Every car on display runs! The basement tour is well worth the additional charge, which was minimal.
Jed Bullwinkle
Excellent and unique car museum. Well worth a visit. Be sure to say hello to Jeff Lane if he's around. Great guy and a true car enthusiast!
Brian “Urban Outdoors”
I thought this was a very nice collection of cars, I wish I spent the extra money to see the vault tour with additional cars, all that means is I'll have to go again
Leonard F
Awesome museum, plenty of cars. You ciuld spend hours looking. Be sure to take the vault tour! 100's of cars underneath!!
Timothy Richey
Always a fun stop in Nashville, constantly rotating collection. The entry fee isn't as high as many other museums of this type, amd the electric car chargers are greatly appreciated
Russ Potts
If you want a journey though the most eclectic collection of cars, this is your place.
Their no barrier policy allows you to take close views of the vehicles closer than ever before. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T TOUCH THEM. And no I didn’t, they were just very clear about it.
Take some time and check it out, you won’t be sorry.
Goosehunter82
Great museum. Tom got me a sneak peak in the basement. There were so many cars. Definitely worth a stop in.
Mooshroom Lady
$12 per person entry and free parking. Worth it because they have very unique vehicles and original automobiles you can't find elsewhere.
Pat Carver
Very interesting stock. Propeller powered, micro cars. Rare and exotic. Even an amphibious tank lander (scooter for scale). The vault tour on the weekends is well worth doing.

AMAZING
I will GO THERE AGAIN & AGAIN .
IT'S SO SPECIAL
I visit a lot of cars and motors museums before but this is the best.
Nick Emeric
Excellent transportation museum. Cars, planes, bikes etc foreign & domestic. I have been to several across the country but I can honestly say I saw many vehicles I have never seen anywhere else. Well worth it.
Bryan Coffey
Really cool European car museum! They also have motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and scooters.
Who's The Kitchen Fairy
Awesome museum! Humongous showroom!
Car, plane, bike, motorbike, snowmobile, fancy car, unique car, ancient car, newer car, tanks, boats, etc SO-MANY-TO-SEE.
Totally enjoyed our visit, 2 adults, 2 kids.
There's even a play area inside, if the kids rather to stay there while the adults roam around.
Totally recommending this museum to anyone visiting Nashville 👍👍👍👍
joe “Socrates” hall
I was surprised by the variety of cars in the lane motor museum. I went and expecting a lot of classic American cars from the '50s and '40s and '30s but this has a very much International and very eclectic collection.
Angelina Deitmen
My boyfriend brought me here and we obsessed over the vintage cars and the cool back stories and history. Highly recommend.
Nathaniel White
The Lane Motor Museum is a Nashville must-see spot with an affordable entrance fee, gift shop, and dozens of rare, foreign cars, motorcycles, bikes, and a canoe. Easy 90 minute attraction with free parking. Informative plaques for each vehicle. A few fun exhibits. Additionally, there is an area for children.
Jess H
Such a great place with some unique vehicles. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and has great stories to share. Tons of Tatras, including an ambulance with the engine in the rear.
Margaret Matthews
We truly enjoyed this museum and all the beautiful cars they've restored and display. Only $12 and very worth it. There's a nice play area for kids to play with cars as well.
Naomi C
Wonderful tiny car museum
Some very unique builds. Largest European collection in the US.
Jordan Fitts
As a car enthusiast, I'm kicking myself for not stopping here sooner. I drive past it almost every day to work and always wondered what all they had, and I was thoroughly impressed to say the least. There is at least two of the vehicles I sure wish I could buy off of the floor if given the chance lol
Jay Whitmire
A phenomenal collection of eclectic cars mostly European. Very nice museum
Kris
Great stop, if you want to read about each car & take pictures, plan for about 2 hours, they do offer tours so call for times, they have some really neat bikes as well. Not only do you get to see the cars, but also learn the history, why they were built, how many were produced, & who built them.
Radu Ramulescu
Very cool place and not to crowded during the week. Also you can take a picture in one of their vintage cars. Totally worth it.
Taran Magee
So many cool cars and history. Definitely worth checking out
Andra Meyers
Unique pitstop 🛑 Unusual cars 🚗 race cars 🏎️ bicycles / motor bikes 🚲 and a few water crafts 🚤 Definitely worth the stop. Great for families. Expect to spend around 1-1.5 hours taking it all in. …
Clifton Barnett
Very interesting place a lot of different kinds of cars. The staff was very polite.
Spencer Hudzenko
Loads of great cars to see here and quite the variety too. Most museums I've been too are too strict with their pieces and this place does not discriminate.
I came from out of state so I probably won't be back for a while but I look forward to seeing them grow!
Tracy Floyd
We came to the museum without realizing the depth of the displays. This museum has an optional basement tour for an additional $10 bringing the price to $22 to enter. The basement tour we participated in was wonderful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. All questions were happily answered about all the cars and bikes. They knew most of the details, but anything they had to look up was on the website for the museum. The website has a ton of info for every car they have. I highly recommend this museum if you are at all interested in unique cars you will likely never see anywhere else!
Adrien Barrette
Had a great experience exploring throughout. There are many vehicles that I have never seen, cars, planes, bicycles, motorcycles, and even pedaling cars. Very neat experience. Had a great time!
Glenn Edwards
This is a must see when in Nashville. Over 300 very unique and one of a kind vehicles - cars, boats, trucks, bikes, powered canoes. very reasonable prices and very clean and organized.
damgood85
They have an amazing collection of unique and rare vehicles from around the world. Worth a visit from anyone with an interest in cars.
Harmonica Bruce
Awesome place! I was disappointed they didn't have all the vehicles I would have liked, but they can't have everything. I saw so much I've never seen before! It's well worth the price, I recommend you allow at least 2 hours. There's a short movie about the history of the museum, when you're tired of walking you can sit and watch it to rest up!
Alex
Huge collection of weird cars. Would highly suggest to anyone with even a small interest. Two of the tamer models pictured.
Nils
Great collection of cars! Sadly i didn’t check the opening hours of the vault, Will definitely visit again on a saturday.
Update: was back today to visit the vault, another great part of the museum that i highly recommend. The staff Are super friendly as well :)
Sheldon Holt
This place is car heaven . It's so many cars that I have never seen before. It's alot of history behind those vehicles. I found out about this place on YouTube. Famous YouTuber Doug Demuro doing a review on a few rare cars. The also have a big collection of bikes and scooters. You can check out more of my photos on my IG account #HoltsImages
Rachel Pink
Wow, what a cool museum! We opted for the lower level tour, and I'm so glad we did! It made our visit a full 5 star. Mainly Tom did. He knew so many details and told stories of the cars. He did a fantastic job of engaging our group without being corny or to long winded. He was spot on as far as guides go. It was fascinating. My husband is the car guy, but with the guided tour below I can honestly say I enjoyed my time here just as much as he did. Bought a super reasonably priced T- shirt as a memento!! Thanks for brining these wheelers back to life and sharing them with the rest of us!
Adria Valle
Fabulous collection. I enjoyed this museum eventhough I'm not so much an automobile fan. Each car has a plaque giving historical and general information, which was quite interesting. I wish we would have allotted more time for this place. Looking forward to going again on my next visit to Nashville.
Hunter Floridia
Awesome experience for people of any age. Some of the coolest cars I've seen
Totally Love Pie
Wow. What a cool museum. I've never seen so many cars in one spot. Was on a weekend trip to Nashville and stopped by here on our way out. So glad we did. I would had definitely paid more for entrance
Lee Gann
This place was awesome! My boyfriend is a mechanic and he was in heaven in this place!
Tracy Leonard
Worth the trip to see it all and lean about some obscure cars. Very cool collection with tons of cars and information.
T Le
This museum was very unique, and there were tons of vehicles to look at. And most of them have their own unique characteristics. The vehicles you see there can’t be found anywhere else.
Chris Bork
Such a cool collection of vehicles. Most I had no idea existed.
Holly Dorman
We were very pleased with our visit to this museum! Well worth it, spent almost 2 hours here! Vehicles in such good condition, love the “no barrier” exhibit - but don’t touch! The tiny cars are SO cool (nerdy squeal here). The bicycle exhibit is very cool too!
Adam Straznicky
LMM is the finest museum if you like vehicle's, art, history, bicycles, military vehicles. Tours are super enjoyable and in-depth without getting droning. We have happily been members here for close to 8 years hot days, cold days, rainy days Lanes always there to explore and you could not pay homage to the engineers and inventors behind the ideas better that in ways have led us to today. Do yourself a favour, go and be inspired!
beth r
This was my second visit since 2018, and it was a fantastic experience!
Tom as a tour guide for the “basement tour” was WONDERFUL, and had a ton of niche knowledge. His acerbic wit was well-received by the rest of the tour group, and the information he provided us was top-notch.
I certainly won’t wait four years before my next visit!
I would’ve happily paid $25 for that tour! Bravo, LMM!
Edward Alleva
Cool spot to check out some vintage cars if you’re in town. No line to enter.
Shane W
Took my team here for an offsite meeting. The employees were great to deal with and we really enjoyed the experience. I felt like I saw so many foreign make vehicles that I have never seen. Looking forward to going back and spending some more time there!
Aaron Fan
A car museum that'll appeal to people who aren't into cars. They specialize in weird cars, plus motorcycles, bicycles, and small aircraft. There is something for everyone. The best car museum I've ever been to.
Trevor Crane
Had a great time! I highly recommend going to see this amazing collection of weird and unique automobiles. Very interesting, mostly European cars but is a must see for any car enthusiast.
clive midgley
Great experience it is a must visit for the car enthusiast, judt go see for yourself
Bretleg
What a great experience. I can't wait to come back and tour the basement.
Dave Wilson
This is one of the most unique car museums I have ever seen. There are vehicles in the collection that I have never heard of, let alone seen. If you like cars even in the slightest I highly recommend checking this place out!
elle n
Very interesting selection of very old car. Sure is an eye view of the evolution of car manufacturing.
Ron Nussle
If you are into cars and their history I have never been to any place that even approaches the quality of this collection.
POPTOGRAPHIX
Super cool collection of weird and obscure cars from all over the world. It's very easy to navigate and also very affordable for what you get!! Probably the best museum I've been to in Nashville. Highly recommend.
Richie Pawlowski
How can you NOT love this place? I believe it's the largest collection of imported cars in America? It may look small from the outside but man do they pack those cars in there like you wouldn't believe. You're guaranteed to see dozens of cars you never even knew existed. The history behind the cars are pretty amazing. Definitely worth the trip over if you're in Nashville!
Debbie Sullivan Brouse
Loved seeing all the antique cars, and the history behind them.
Gina Schmidt
Much bigger and much more to see than expected. We spent a good 2 and a half hours in it. Lots of fun car, bicycle and motor cycle inventions from different countries to see plus a big military vehicle outside. Everything was very interesting.
Charles Jones
If you have even a slight interest in cars this is great.
Great value for the price too.
Jake R.
Amazing museum of classic European cars, plus a few one offs. I love this place, and am definitely going back. Great place if you plan to visit Nashville.
Sol “Sunshine” Hernandez
If you love cars this is where you want to go and if you're not a car buff you will love it .
John Burke
What a collection! Many cars, motorcycles, scooters, ultralights, bicycles you've probably never seen, theres even a propeller driven canoe! Something for everyone! Our Granddaughter really enjoyed it.
Sean Colvin
Cheap, good selection of European autos, with new cars swapped in and out occasionally. You could cover just about all of it in 2 hours. Wish the basement was open more, which contains motorcycles and mopeds, I’m told.
Meric Demirbas
Really interesting collection of vehicles worth the visit if you are meathead or just an enthusiastic car buff. Do not expect American muscle here, just unique cars. Make sure to ask for military discount is you are veteran or AD. The only confusing issue I had was the fact there was an infestation of old rare airplanes in the roof also... P.s. Don't miss the vehicles at back end of the customer parking.
Erik Harris
Great museum with a huge selection of unique cars from around the world. The focus is on mini cars, which is very unique. They also have a nice collection of motorcycles and airplanes on display. Recommend also doing the vault tour to see about 300 additional cars that aren't of display on the main floor.
Thomas Gibson
Great experience and fantastic staff. We will be back for the full tour. Truly an enthusiast's paradise. Not a hot rod in sight, just interesting automotive eye candy.
David Korf
Awesome museum that details automotive history. You can get up close to the cars, most of them aren't behind ankle height ropes. Highly suggest at least two hours in the museum.
Todd Baker
What an amazing collection. An essential stop for the car lover when in Nashville!
Ben Starr
Great for all ages unique vehicles for viewing
Sharon Rubin
1950 Not your typical car museum! This one, by far, has one of the largest european collection in the U.S., it features a collection of 150 unusual cars and motorcycles. Located near downtown Nashville, TN. amongst those beauties you can enjoy the
Hoffmann Coupe, 1939 FIAT 508C BALLILA 1100 FROM ITALY, which was design by Tranquillo Zerbi, top Italian engineer, and some wonderful replicas like 1950 Tatra 607 Monoposto, 1925 T-12 Targa FLORIO, 1933 DYMAXION and even ONE OF A KIND - 1930 MARTIN MARTINETTE and many other beautiful cars are comfortably presented in this charming museum. we arrived right before closing on Friday, Aharon, the man at the front desk was very fair with us, letting us know there is not much time but we assured him we will be happy with 30 min, it might have taken a bit longer for us but he was kind enough to let us enjoy it and we absolutely appreciate it. $12 to get in, definitely worth it.
Offroadjk
Truly an amazing and unique place. Knowledgeable staff and such a quiet and calm space to take your time and look over the hundreds of unique and sometimes one off vehicles they have in their collection.
And it is most definitely worth taking the vault tour if given the option during your visit!
Sam M (Drivebytourist)
Incredible! Micro, mini and one of a kind cars impeccable kepted. About 2 hours and over 300 photos! Great place for adults and kids.
Ladie A'Shique
Loved the many different cars, planes, bikes, etc!!! Masks were required and facility was clean. So much to look at and learn. Descriptions of transports were be very informative and the auto-videos were a great plus to see them in action!!
Ryan Cass
By far one of the best car museums in the south. Jeff Lane has put together an impressive collection of cars, trucks, bikes, and many other forms of transportation all under one roof. The best part is most of the cars are drivable and even licensed to go on public roads, VS. other museums that never drive their cars or even “pickle them.” Make sure you arrive in time to do the vault tour so you see the whole collection and not just the cars on the main floor.
Garrett Carmody
Loved this museum! It was great seeing so many of the cars my dad owned and I grew up with in Ireland. It’s great that all the cars there are drivers and not over restored. So many rare European cars here. The basement tour is a must, it’s a real Aladdins cave of stuff that’s just come in, being worked on or just out of rotation. I particularly enjoyed the Citroen exhibit, to see a Wankel engine GS was a real treat.
Overall, can’t speak too highly of this museum, I enjoyed it immensely.

Not really my cup of tea, but my husband, father and son all loved it. There were even some fun things for those of us who weren't really interested in cars to find (I enjoyed the bikes and the scooter hall). Plus there's a small area for little ones to play once they get tired of walking around. It didn't have much to offer my 6yo, but my 4yo had fun playing there. Definitely a great place if you like cars.

If you're in Nashville and in need of a quick pit stop, look no further than the Lane Automotive Museum! Not only is it home to an impressive collection of microcars and Tatra vehicles, but it also boasts one of the cleanest and most well-maintained bathrooms I've ever had the pleasure of using.
While the tiny Isettas and sleek Tatra 97s certainly caught my eye, it was the bathroom that really stole the show. With sparkling floors, gleaming fixtures, and an overall feeling of cleanliness and order, it was the cherry on top of an already fantastic museum experience.
In fact, I was so impressed with the bathroom that I almost considered lingering a little longer just to soak in the ambiance. But alas, duty called and I had to tear myself away from the porcelain throne.
So if you're in Nashville and in need of a museum that not only satisfies your inner gearhead, but also keeps its bathroom in top-notch condition, the Lane Automotive Museum is the place for you. Just try not to spend too much time in there – there are plenty of other amazing cars to see!
Callie Parks
This was such a fun and unique place to stop by and explore! Even if you don’t know a lot about cars, they have great information posted and it is fun to walk around and just look. Very affordable, convenient location. Certainly would recommend if you are in Nashville!
Jeffrey Soyster
This is a great museum. I lived in Italy for ten years amd saw so many cars in saw in europe in the museum. If you like car you must go.
Victor Wang
Absolutely amazing museum filled with all of the quirky and unique cars many you've never heard of or seen. This place is like Disneyland for children and adults alike. They have many sections and they try to have a few examples in each collection to present a cohesive exhibit. The crown Jewel is a massive amphibious military vehicle parked outside that weighs over 100 tons.
Steve Strom
Some of the coolest and rarest cars I've ever seen. I highly recommend this place if you have any interest in cars. It's wide open and plenty of room to spread out with the covid and check out all the cars. Just don't touch!
T EB
Fantastic gem! Away from the downtown so my hotel concierge was unaware of it. Get there early for the “live” vehicle demos!
Dirk Schumann
What an eclectic mix of cars! I fully expected to see the usual suspects, Porsche, Ferrari and the like. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many that I knew as a child that weren't from those brands. Since we don't have any French cars sold here in the US, it's was delightful to see the Renault and Citroen cars in many shapes and sizes. The Subaru display was particularly interesting to see. Next time I'm in Nashville, I'll plan more time to tour it thoroughly.
Lanna H
Our first stop on Nashville vacation mainly because my husband LOVES cars....pleased that everyone enjoyed our visit (4yr old to teenagers). I would recommend.
Ted Hazzard
Very unique museum! Clean, open, in the old Sunbeam plant. Many micro cars, and unusually cool cars, well worth it.
Casey Eaves
Absolutely love going here. So many cool and unique cars. If you can, get the basement tour. There are as many or more cars down stairs that you usually don't see. Plus, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the cars, but the individual cars and how they got to the museum.
Christine Soignier
The coolest, much unique car show I have ever been too. Very recommended
Matt Yates
This place will surprise you! From the outside it seems pretty small, but when you walk in the door you realize it is larger than you could have imagined. The facilities are very nice, all of the cars are clean and well kept. As a car guy, I was very impressed.
New Orleans Aircoolers
Very surprised with this museum, plenty of rare and unique automobiles, bikes, and planes. Also very informative on all of them.
Melinda Carlson
A really great visit here. Plenty of cars to look at for both gearheads and people who just want to see interesting things. It was a nice way to spend an hour and a half. There's a play area in the middle of the museum for the kids. A neat set of maps on one wall show where everyone is coming from.
Mr. J
This place was awesome. They have several unique vehicles and the building itself is a restoration. The history in it all is quite interesting. If you love older cars and unique vehicles this is definitely a trip worth having, Only $12 per adult.
scott knox
If your deepest desires include wacky, European automobiles, this is the museum for you. It's a huge collection that perfectly displays the advancement of automotive technology and the uniqueness humanity used to encase it with. For $12 an adult you get to see hundreds of sweet cars, vans, electric vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles, and even a huge and goofy snowmobile thing.
Kathleen Mey
One of the best exhibits/museums I have been to. A really nice collection of cars, bikes and motorcycles well displayed and each with a short but informative sign about the object. Outside in a separate garage there are the larger vehicled. There were several short and interesting videos, a really nice area for kids to play, a vending area, a scavenger hunt game for anyone interested in making the visit a bit competitive, and a gift shop. On the weekends there is a tour of the workshop area in the basement. I was quite impressed with how well the place is managed - everything was super clean and well organized.
Amado Martinez
needs more hoods open to see engines details
ESB III
Great collection of mostly mid century European cars. $12. There is a collection in the basement which requires an additional ticket ($6) and includes an obligatory tour (docent was informative and knowledgeable). Ticket agent was officious. There is a US Army transport tank parked outside in the rear area.
Richard Hoover
I really enjoyed this museum with so many foreign vehicles separated by country. The person at the front counter was very friendly and we spoke for quite a while. Great way to spend a day. They have more in storage than on display, so I will return some day, even though I live over 1500 miles away.
Michael Lamm
Loved the odd car display
HD01490
Great museum, especially if you’re into weird cars from all over the world.
Jeff Taylor
A true car enthusiasts museum. Not the flashy expensive cars you are used to seeing but cars that actually had an impact in the industry. The collection is extensive and amazing
Peter Yin
The place was great full of interesting cars and tons of history. Highly recommend one of the more unique car museums with more to do than just looking at old cars. If you plan ahead you can have the opportunities to drive done of the older cars that are still in driving condition. Also I can guarantee that you cannot name 20% of the cars showcased.
Karen Wolf
Something for everyone at this very well done museum. It's not so big as to be overwhelming and the info provided at each exhibit is helpful and interesting.
crosscheck ministries
Very weird cars ,cool cars, all kinds of really near things all around great experience good for thr family! They have a kids section as well.
James Wilson
The Lane Motor Museum is a Hidden Gem off The Nashville beaten path of Lower Broadway. It is only 3-Miles Down Murfreesboro Pike from the Country Music Clubs and is a Bargain Admission Price for an afternoon of European Automotive History. You will see many Makes and Models of Vehicles that you probably never knew existed. Every Vehicle is Fully Restored and Operational including Antique Plates. The owner actually Drives Different Vehicles on the Nashville City Streets each Month to Promote the Museum and just have fun watching the People’s Reaction to seeing these Rare Vehicles in Action. His Largest Piece in the Collection is Parked out back and took 4-Hours to Drive the 3-Miles to the Museum from the Riverfront Dock. It is an Army LARC LX8 capable of Loading Full Size Tanks and any other Large Vehicle in the Army’s Inventory. There are over 500-Vehicles in the ever growing collection and on Saturdays they offer a Behind the Scenes Restoration Shop Tour that gives you insight to their processes and a peek at the next Vehicles to appear in the Museum. All in all it’s a Great Way to change the Pace from the Music City Club Scene.
Martin Lutz
What a great museum! I've been here several times. It takes about an hour to go through all the countries' cars. You can spend as much time as you want. They have a Cinelli race bike like I used to race. Which is amazing. Very rare stuff. If you're even remotely interested in history and cars or mechanics, you'll enjoy the Lane museum.
Did I mention they have a Cinelli?
Mike Spencer
I love Lane Motor Museum! I've gone several times since they've been open and always enjoy it. Lots of unique cars, motorcycles and even bicycles. Stuff you just won't see anywhere else. If you're a car buff, you're going to love it.
Matt Graham
Fantastic treatment of these unique and important autos. These are loved and it shows. And the building! Fantastic. Excellent staff treatment and conversation. Made for an excellent destination with our Harley riding group. Worth the visit, and will be coming again for sure.
Aram Goganian
This place is amazing!! Got some really cool cars really had a great time walking around checking them all out. It's not super big so perfect for an afternoon. The thing I like the some is the bicycle area! I'm in the bike industry and thought it was a really cool display! Great job!! Posted some photos of my favorite bike's
Diane Stedner
Great cars, planes and bikes. Wander through and see everything at your pace. Displays change so new stuff to see.
Johnathan Gower
Wonderful, interesting and unique. If you love cars, you will love this place. Featured on Jay Leno's Garage a couple times but has much more than he shows.
Devon J (caustictoast)
Great collection of interesting cars! So many unique things that aren’t really covered elsewhere. Had more fun here than at the Peterson!
Donald Lundie
An excellent and very interesting stop during any visit to Nashville! The museum is very well presented with the most amazing and diverse array of motor vehicles I've ever seen! I think that it will likely take you up to half a day to fully appreciate everything. The staff were very friendly and I definitely hope to visit again one day!
JoyAnna McBride
How did we not know about this hidden gem in Nashville? The kids play area was so perfect that my son cried when we had to leave. The cars are so unique and there was so much to see. We will be back!
Stephanie Nelson
There were so many cars to look at! We spent a good 3 hours here. Not only do they interior they have a garage outside with more.. I felt like Billy May's voice ways saying "But wait there's more" as you venture outside. They have cars, bike, motorcycle, planes, trucks, buggys, engine break downs. It's great!
Brett H
I've been to Lane several times and it's always a great experience. Staff is friendly, the cars are really interesting, and the exhibits are always changing. I think my favorite thing is that they drive most of the cars. Just so cool that that's a big thing for them.
On my last trip I had the privilege to see the Nissan Heritage museum which is not always open. Very cool experience with very neat cars. A bonus of that tour is the opportunity to go through the basement of Lane which is literally packed with unique cars. Overall I'd say a fun and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon.
Alex Landing
A brilliant collection of eccentric vehicles from around the globe and through our history. If possible time your visit with the daily basement tour, absolutely worth it. There's actually more vehicles down there. Spent 3.5 hours and still didn't manage to read all the individual vehicle descriptions, just going to have to go back :)
Daniel Harris
A fun place if you have an interest in cars or engineering, of particular interest to those who like microcars and European cars. They also have a pedal bike display. Lots of good info to read on the signs by the cars. An area for kids to play in too.
Matthew Weaver
I really Love all the Antique cars that I have never seen before. I highly recommend everyone to go to Lane Motor Museum.
Logan Playz
One of the best places in Nashville! They had tons of cars and a good price! Highly recommend.
Marcus Clayborne
Pretty cool museum. We actually went for a Baby shower and was able to tour the museum while there. It had a little of it all. From the oddball car to Formula 1. I was impressed with the quality of alot of the older cars. It's a quick walk and should only take about 15-20 minutes to see it all. I've always wanted to see what was inside every since I noticed the building many years back, and I'm glad I finally did.
Kevin Corder
Extremely eclectic collection of beautiful cars, trucks and other what-nots. Thoroughly enjoyed it !!!!!
Michael Copley
Many one-of-a-kind vehicles. A collection of rare cars, bikes, and motor vehicles. I was reluctant to go to yet another car museum. This one is special. The collection is unique and the restoration work that occurs here is very impressive. The cherry on the top is that the admission is only $9 per person. Felt like that was more than reasonable.
Brayden Burns
it was an awesome car museum with everything from early 1900s cars to modern day formula 1 cars.
Sam Stevens
Great little museum to see some rare and unique cars. There is a vending machine if you need a snack, make sure you finish it before walking the museum. Very educational and interesting.
Toni Sullivan

Toccara Shine-Dees
A wonderful experience for all ages. So many automobiles. Car planes motorcycles bikes. There's even a play area for the little ones. They do have a strict no touching policy. There's one car that you can get into and take photos. My entire family from age 5 to 87 loved the place.
Jeffrey Kanne
Amazing collection of European cars. Each has specifications and history. The building itself is a restored bread factory
steve cantrell
This is a great little out of the way musuem that is not talked anout much. It has an example of just about every type of car known to man. It was enjoyable for the entire family.
Allen Rissler
Awesome place for car geeks! (And even the not so geeky!) All the cars are well documented and out where you can poke your head in the window if you want to. The staff was helpful and very friendly! Will definitely recommend!
Daniel Wright
Awesome car museum perfect for families and kids. Price is very reasonable you can spend several hours admiring all the different vehicles they have.

Teresa Wali
Cool place to visit & see the changes and improvements that have been made to cars over the decades. Some cool cars to see, definitely a place to see if looking to do something for a few hours. It will take longer than expected if reading all descriptions of cars. Make sure you take full advantage of seeing all it has to offer. PS it is offered at most hotel sight seeing stands and has a coupon for $3 off!
Josh Gales

Drew Honnoll
Very nice interesting. And very reasonably priced.
Robin Mirco Pfarrkircher
Hilarious! A museum for cars that I drove 20 years ago. I immigrated from Germany and my family drove mostly FIAT because they were small people and that's what those cars are made for.
I drove the FIAT Panda and my brother drove the Renault that you can try out in the museum. I can tell you. It was fun driving those cars.
Michael Breiling
If you're in Nashville this is a must go! So many unique and cool cars!! You learn a lot of cars that aren't sold here too. One of my favorite museums.
vance Trella
Had all sorts of oddities and one off cars. Very informational. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the vault tour for an extra cost it was well worth it. Check out the website for availability before you go.

Nicole Delle Donne
Good place to go to experience a step back in the history books. Plenty of vehicles - bikes, airplanes, cars, boats, etc. including prototypes of vehicles that never hit the market. Very cool!
fire surfer
This place specializes in micro cars and novelty vehicles. I spent 3 hours here and didn't see everything. They also have a bicycle area and some motorcycles, with a bunch of oddball flying machines hanging from the ceiling. Not to be missed if you're in the area.
Next Level Detailing
Lane Motor Museum was a amazing experience for me and my family there was a little play area for the kids and there where tours and it was a great overall experience would recommend and would come back!
Meraj Ahmed
Really cool place for anyone interested in cars. It's not all the latest and greatest cars, but a lot of old, unique, rare, strange, and just really interesting cars. Also features some motorcycles, bicycles, and even a few aircraft. Give it a minimum of 2 hours if you want to skin through the collection, but 3 hours or more if you really want to take your time and read up on each car. Don't forget to drive around the back to see the US Army LARC vehicle, as well as a few other military vehicles in the garage.
Audrey
Very nice museum with many interesting cars! Loved that they had a designated play area for young children. Reasonably priced.
Denis Osipychev
Amazing and inspiring place. The museum's collection demonstrates crazy, brave, and creative automotive designs of 50s-90s.
Michael Osborne
A wonderful collection of cars. I love to visit and take pictures with my Nikon camera. Flash is allowed also. Visit the basement for even more cars. Highly recommended.
Ethan Walters
Parking was the only problem but other than that , they have nice workers and alot to look at cars, planes, bikes, motorcycles. And have a cool little gift shop where you can get antiques and collectibles.
Nolan Tanner
Very fun to walk through, they were doing live demonstrations starting up of one of the propeller cars while we were there and talking about its history. Really enjoyed being able to get up so close and really look at the cars without everything being kept away by ropes! My son got a kick out of seeing a DeLorean up close because he had a MicroMachine just like it in his pocket.
Miguel Aristizabal
Beautiful place! For car enthusiasts be aware of the time that you can spend here! At least 2 hours or more if you read everything carefully. Outside the museum you can enjoy the view of more cars, specifically, military vehicles. A must visit for car lovers in Nashville.
Gene Blanchard
Great collection of foreign cars and bikes. Everything is out in the open, not in display cases. A lot of history and information about each car too. Well worth a visit.

Michael Arnold
Recommend for parents and enthusiasts. Reasonable prices, and there is a play area for kids which is great on a rainy day. Really unique and interesting cars for enthusiasts.
Bathrooms are clean and have a changing table in the mens room if you're a dad with small children.
Will be a return customer.
Smiff-it
Had an awesome selection of cars/bikes and was a ton of fun. Made for a great few hours with friends
Chris Hadley
The descriptions of this museum don't really do it justice. I've been to a lot of car museums and consider myself somewhat of a car buff, but this place has probably 40 or 50 kinds of cars that I've never seen before in my entire life, or even heard of. A lot of really bizarre quirky and unique cars including a number of that are completely 1 of a kind, literally. You will not find model t's, or 57 Chevys, but you will find weird West German steam powered cars, propeller powered prototypes, and mini cars small enough to put in a normal car's trunk.
Phillip Elli
If ya like cars, this is a great day trip. I would recommend Lane Motor Museum to a friend....go and enjoy!
Diane Krapf
This place is easy to get too and very enjoyable for all ages. Not expensive. They have so many cars to see. They do demonstrations at certain times. They also include vintage motorcycles and bikes. Worth the visit.

Very large and impressive collection of cars. We took the basement tour and it was worth it.

I think this is my favorite motor museum around. I visited a few years ago and the collection has grown very quickly and I was able to see one of a kind cars in the new exhibit. I highly recommend taking the vault tour and asking your burning questions about the cars and motorcycles in the collection. Everyone that works here is incredibly knowledgeable and has great stories to share about the cars they have worked with at the museum.
Clay Johnston
Fantastic place to spend an afternoon. Lots of cars ranging in age and function. From amphibious trucks to sports cars and everything in between.

We used this as a chance to stretch our legs during our last road trip. It is a short distance from the interstate. The cars are neatly organized and you are able to walk right up to them (with out touching them). There was a very good selection and variety for cars. Will be visiting again on our next trip.
Stephen Gibbons
My wife and I, even our 12 year old daughter loved it . Much more than we expected.
Ore dub
Very interesting the history and stories behind some of the vehicles. Definitely worth a look but beware may not be young child friendly almost all exhibits you cannot touch. Keep the youngin in the stroller and you'll be good to spend and hour plus soaking up history.

Lane Motor Mueseum was an amazing place to find rare and one-of-a-kind cars. There are many cars that are interesting experiments into automotive engineering. Jason Hill
The Lane has a very extensive collection of automobiles, as well as other vehicles. They offer special tours at certain times. Most importantly, the staff is very informative and are always willing to answer questions.
Jonathan Bulin
Visiting from out of town, this was on our list of possible things-to-do. So glad we decided to visit! I was expecting the usual 'cool' cars (European exotics). While they do have a few of those, they have so many really really cool mini cars (BMW Isetta, FIATs) and rare models (SAAB Sonnet, Toyota Century) and lots of prototypes. And bikes, motorcycles, snow vehicles, and even several airplanes. DON"T be afraid to take non-car people with you - there is something there that everyone will connect with (if not - check their pulse). Spend the extra $6 for the Basement Tour. Awesome way to spend 2-3 hours of your visit, especially in bad weather. Make sure you have plenty of free storage space on your phone - you WILL take lots of pictures. Love it!
Aaron Schreiber
I just can't say enough about this place. Super clean, friendly, and an amazing place. It's unbelievable to have such a unique collection that is displayed so you can get up close and personal. Even my kids (8 and 10 years old) were respectful and didn't touch the vehicles. What a pleasure to be so close to the collection. Very enjoyable. I was surprised to see an East German Trabbie (Trabant)! I highly recommend!
Laurie Murphy

The Lane Motor Museum is one of my favorites for many reasons. I'm not even a car nut. 1. It's small, easy to walk, easy to find what you like. There are no walls, no barriers, no extra fees for special exhibits, and most of all, no restricting ropes to keep you far away from the cars. You can see them up close and all over. 2. They have an AMAZING collection of fast cars, old cars, flying cars, floating cars, two wheeled cars, wooden cars, leather cars, super fast cars, and on and on. THEY ALL WORK! Every car in the collection actually runs, and is extremely well maintained with clean, shiny beautiful exteriors and interiors. 3. Their bicycle collection informed me of some truly amazing facts about the history and design theory of bicycles. 4. The people are friendly. 5. The informational signs, while not as fancy as most museums, are much more informative and useful. I enjoy them a lot and often take photos of them in order to share the info with friends. I love it.
Cory H
Awesome museum filled with quirky cars, many of which I'd never heard of! A must visit for any gear head or just someone who likes a quirky design.
cadillac19831
Awesome place if you love old and rare automobiles! A cheap must see if you're in Nashville!
Tourist_McGee
The cars are beautiful, had to dock a star because there aren't enough places for guests to sit and rest. As a person trying to recover from cancer, a place to sit for a brief moment is extremely important.
Other wise, the place was great, and we had a lot of fun "ooo" and "ahh" moments.
Matt A
Interesting place. Nearly all odd European cars you probably haven’t even heard of.
Frank Harmon
Excellent selection of vehicles and types from race cars to isettas and 3-wheeled Messershmidts. Nice demo of propeller driven, wooden vehicle.
Katherine Goodwin
Great place with some cool cars and a few planes. Worth going to and even kid friendly.
Mark F
Great museum with lots of interesting vehicles. My teenage son and daughter absolutely loved it!
Daniel Perry
Great museum of little know small cars and trucks .

Amazing collection of rare automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles. We have lived here 8 years and never visited. Our mistake - it was fascinating!
Angel Nunez
If you a car lover.. this is the place for you , over 100+ import cars ...some motorcycle and bicycle ...
Matt Ashley
I'm not a huge car fan but I spent three times as long here as I expected. Highly recommend.
Jennifer Godby
Absolutely amazing place! Can't wait to go back. This is a must see on Nashville ❤
Dessa Hix
We loved the museum! I'm not particularly interested in cars and didn't expect to enjoy it, but it was fascinating. The collection is full of unique vehicles, things I'd never seen (Scooters that fold up into a suitcase! Tiny 3-wheeled cars!). The signs that tell about the vehicles were so fun to read. I love that the vehicles are still driven ("exercised") by the museum staff.

If you like cars check this place out. Everything in this place is so unique. There are several different types of motorized contraptions that are just cool!
Jared Tennant
This was such a great visit! Awesome cars! Literally nothing negative to say! Being a huge gear head, there were tons of cars I saw in person for the first time ever! There were tons of cars I would play with on Gran Turismo growing up and seeing them in person just really hit me on the best way possible. It was truly an amazing experience!
Tip: dress lightly during the summer as it's definitely toasty in there!
Jack Bohannon
What an incredible place! If you're in Nashville and love cars this place is a must see. Don't miss out
Christopher Turner
Eclectic collection of vehicles. Must stop for any car enthusiast. Make sure you drive around the back and see the giant military machine.
Justin Bailey
Incredibly wide range of cars I don't think you would find at other museums. They also have a lot of bikes and planes.
Chris Garcia
Great collection of rare, odd and just plane cool vehicles. They allow you to get close to the vehicles, no ropes. A must see for anyone. Thanks Jeff Lane for sharing these beauties with the world.
Jeff Nelson
Great place and what a collection of cars from around the world. Next time I'm in Nashville I will return

Julie Bingaham
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this car museum!
Aaron Pipkin
Great museum, something for everybody. Nice kids area.
Olivia Martin
Great experience. Nice European display. Great way to spend the afternoon!
Ann Brown
I would highly recommend this place. The entry fee is super cheap and we saw tons of cars that we had never seen before. The person running the place was beyond nice and the gift shop was cheap as well. For two adults and a handful of things at the gift shop, we paid less than $50 all together. It is also kid friendly. They have a big play place for children. If I could give more stars, I totally would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brent Knoll
A must see for car enthusiasts. The displays change frequently so I always see new cars every visit.
Ryan Sollars
Fun place. Interesting European and Japanese cars too.
Michael Homewood
Nice collection of old European cars, many I hadn't heard of before. Many photos taken for further investigation and research. Worth the drive.
J & J
Even if you think you have no interest, go! It is an awesome experience. It was not only great for me but my wife enjoyed it at least as much and she is not particularly a "car girl".
Pioneerpalo
It is a great museum. It's a bit smaller but well worth it. They have planes, bicycles, cars, trucks, minis, and something of everything. It's quiet and the staff was super friendly. They have a small gift shop and it was very reasonably priced. I think it was under $30 for both of us.
Squeaky Forte
First visit to the museum. There are so many vehicles I have never seen before. I had a great time
Travis Buck
If interesting cars are your thing, this place is a definite must. Lots of oddball cars I have never heard of. They even have a LARC-LX (google it😉) Admission isn't expensive. Definitely recommend!! …
Glen Stevens
Great looking cars, planes, motorcycles and bicycles from different countries and years.
Zee Williams
An absolutely brilliant museum. Should be on the bucket list for anyone that likes cars or history, or who just likes looking at really weird vehicles. Friendly staff, not crowded, great atmosphere.
Philip Zimmerman
A most intriguing collection of transportation oddities and rarities. My 12 Yo, wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Magdalene Dada
Went here with my nephew and he absolutely loved being here. He is 14 months and loves cars so this was like a mini paradise for him. I had to drag him out of the only car guests are allowed to sit in, becuase he did not want to get out. I love that there is a play area for the kids. We spent a lot of time there and it was a very enjoyable trip overall.
Emily Williams
I DO NOT recommend visiting on a hot day. I was excited to take my son somewhere indoors on a very hot day. Rating three stars because they have a great childrens area with lots of toys cars. However, it felt as if they had no air conditioning at all. The indoor childrens play area was about 85 degrees with no air flow. I called the front desk and they said they do have air conditioning but the windows can make it warm. I requested fans but they said they had none. People were coming into the area and saying they felt like they would pass out if they stayed in that area. Ona cool, cloudy day, I recommend the childrens play area. In the summer, it is in no way relief from the heat.
Leisa Holland
Some amazing modes of transportation you may never know existed! Unique and surprising finds!! :)
scott rexford
Great diverse collection of distinct varied cars, super interesting, very fun!!!!
David Lutz
The cars are as unique as the architecture of the building - you are surrounded by human creativity - even if you're not a "car person" it's a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon
Tyler Jones
Very cool car museum full of odd and unique cars
mark peth
Cool place for some unique cars also have a kid friendly space for kids to place
DC ieee
Biggest military vehicle I've ever seen: LARC cargo landing vehicle. Wow, it's huge! See how tiny it makes these people look...
Frank Miller
This museum is amazing. Must visit in Nashville.
Scott Sandilands
Very nice collection of old and unique vehicles from bikes to planes. Definitely worth the visit.
Jay Fields
Very cool place to see some very unique cars.
Michele Busen
I'm not even a car enthusiast and I had an incredible time. There are cars you've never even imagined, many from abroad. A really great experience. Highly recommend.
Jay McMichael
Great little museum with many older unusual vehicles. No Ford or Chevys here. Just a wonderful collection of little known cars, powered bikes, sleds, and other powered vehicles. Reasonable entry fees with senior and veteran discounts.
Katie Sedlaczek
Very cool museum if you have any interest whatsoever in cars. They have some unique, one-of-a-kind cars as well as some more well known brands.
Terry Mattox
Awesome museum with some of the most unusual cars I have ever seen!
Jon Ireland
Loved it. Just the right size and the collection is very eclectic.
Rob Henderson
Pretty amazing place. Went with a large family group, most of which are definitely not car enthusiasts and a great time was had by all. Not your typical car museum and I mean that in the best possible way!
Kevin Derrick
This place has some interesting cars from all over the world
Anna Rose V
Great museum, plenty to see and a great demonstration at 11am (daily).
Stephanie
Absolutely amazing.
I'm blind and they gave me and my family personal tour . I got to wear white gloves and touch cars. If you get chance definitely take trip to Nashville and visit here. I promise you will not be disappointed!! So many awesome and amazing automobiles to look at.
John Guthrie
A wonderful experience! Eclectic, unusual and several one of a kind autos, planes, motorcycles, bikes, canoes - a must for anyone who loves fascinating modes of transportation!
Charles Perkins
Loved this place. Full of odd ball little cars. I like the different auto that others dismiss as weird. If you want something out of the box then stop in a see the over 300 cars waiting for your visit. Pay the extra fee and take the basement tour. Also my fellow vets ask for the military discount.
Jared Guynes
An incredible car collection specializing in European models, mini cars, three wheel cars, prototypes and oddities. Basically it’s like a carnival side show of cars. Absolutely worth the visit, and an incredible value for just a $12 admission fee.
Some of my favorite cars in here were the absolutely absurd propeller cars, the Chevrolet Corphibian and the real life Monopoly Car.
Highly recommended stop for any car enthusiasts if you ever find yourself in Nashville.
Matthew Luedke
Always wanted to go here. If the vault tour is available it's worth it.
Rachael Waters
Amazing cars, bike, motorcycles, and planes!! Worth the look!!!
Mark Crawford
Phenomenal. Way better than you'd expect. To know better what you're seeing and the history of the cars, get a tour
Victor Samuel
Excellent walk through a lot of different types of cars, bikes, and even some unique vehicles as well!
Joe Masters
What a cool auto museum. I definitely recommend the "Vault" tour, if you have time. And don't forget the Citroen photo opportunity.
Jonathon Benedict
This museum is amazing. If you love cars this is a place you need to go to. Also make sure you do the Vault tour. You are missing so much if you skip that. Also if you have an EV you can charge while you are visiting the museum as of Feb 2022 when we visited. You also park in a garage. Which is super cool too.
Michael Larson
Alot of one offs, just shows you how far autos did not advance in 100 years!!
Ramita Chitrakar
Very clean and well kept.. great collection of unique cars, bicycles and some bikes too.. worth visiting.
patrick lusher
Soooo many fun and unique cars! Made a 4 hour drive primarily for this, and wasn't disappointed. Would recommend the extra basement tour. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell you he passionate about cars.
Bobby Thompson
A lot of really cool antique and concept vehicles. Seems like there's stuff here that you likely to never see anywhere else. A great road trip destination!
Buech
Great place to see, some cars are unique, i came From France to Nashville and funny to see DS and méhari prototype 😊. How did you Get it ? …
Joshua Collins
Lane Motor Museum is a great automotive museum with a unique & ever changing collection. Their sign says "vehicles from A to Z" but it should also say "Micro to Macro.
Jim Patterson
I wouldn't count this as a typical auto museum. They have a rotating display from what is apparently a much larger collection than you see at one visit. There are a lot of eastern European vehicles; a collection of propeller driven land, water and snow vehicles that must have seemed like a good idea in the early 20th century, and a lot of experimental and one-off vehicles, including a replica of Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion. On this visit there were several Indy cars and some nice classic MGs that I hadn't seen before. Well worth a visit and a return.
Jacob Lochynski
So me and my wife we visited Nashville for couple days and we came to this amazing place I can tell you one thing I’m in car business myself I’m car and motorcycle fanatic and and this is one of the best collections I have seen and I’ve been in few places already including famous museum in Berlin. The amount of rare European cars is breathtaking I saw many cars from my childhood (fiat 126p Peugeot 205 gti ) .All I can say is wow and I’m definitely coming back soon to spend more time in there.
Josiah Davies
Nice people well done exhibits and the they even have a childrens area.
Summer Prochaska
Lots to see! Get there when they do the vault tours and see so much more!
JT Jones
Very cool museum with lots of unique vehicles. I will definitely be stopping again when I'm in the area to spend more time looking at everything.
Kathryn Zinsmeister
Very unique.
LaGuardia Beek
If you like classic cars, this is a great opportunity to see some beautiful restorations. My only disappointment was that there were no American cars. The car descriptions and videos made the experience very educational and informative. All around good experience.
Shqipron Qunaj
Absolutely amazing find for car lovers! You will find cars that you won't see anywhere else. So many European models that were never sold in America.
kevlar6006
Awesome place to check out a lot of unique automobiles!
Shar Bar
This is one of those Gems, that you have to be searching for:) Admission 12 per adult, and you could pay a lil extra for a Group Tour. There is a nice open Children's Area with ride on toys, you might want to pack some antibacterial wipes, even though I saw hand sanitizer. There are over 250 cars of all sorts, small, large, wooden, ect. The History of the Bike, was an unexpected delight! I saw a 1966 Schwinn Banana Seat Bike, just like the one my brothers had:) I love how one section of 80's and 90's cars had mannequins dressed in the fashions of the day. These cars are from many European countries and will interest all those who love history as well as motor cars:)
Please alot a minimum of 3hrs there is much to see and read. There is a snack area with vending machines. You aren't allowed to eat in the museum, but I would like to see them make that a more tourist/customer welcoming and friendly area perhaps with basic hotdog, chips and a drink.
Overall we would love to visit again when passing through Nashville!
Heather A-H
Super cool! So many unique vehicles, not just cars.
yamy skocen
Omg, love this place. The cars are amazing!
Nicholas DeWolfe
This is one of the best motor museums I have ever been too! The wide array of vehicles and motorcycles is unreal! Don't even get me started about the US Army LARC in the back! Hands down thee coolest thing I have ever seen! You can walk through this place and really see the passion and labor of love these guys have for these vehicles! It definitely makes me want to find an older vehicle to restore myself! This will be a stop I make EVERYTIME I come to Nashville! Did I mention all of the staff are extremely friendly and will answer any of your questions! This place is absolutely TOP NOTCH! DO NOT MISS THIS ON YOUR NEXT TRIP!
Cindy Lorenz
If you are any kind of car enthusiast....you need to check this out when in Nashville!
Ryan Varjas
Highly recommend. A big plus, it’s less than 10 mins from the airport, so you can easily sneak in a quick visit if you have an hour or two before you need to be at security.
Eric S.
A spectacular place full of old, restored cars and also a few military vehicles, motorcycles, and tiny aircraft
Jason Harbison
Outstanding!! Took my parents from AZ and loved the cars and motorcycles.
Lanette
Nice, small museum with cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and even a few airplanes. You wander around at your own pace. There are plaques describing each vehicle.
It was enjoyable. They do allow photographs, but no touching.
The cars are not behind ropes or panels so you get a good look inside and out.
E. H.
I’m not a car person, but had driven by this place many times. During a covid staycation I finally checked it out and really enjoyed it.
The vehicles are beautifully restored, a joy to look at and the history is well explained.
I wish they had an ‚activity vehicle’ of some sort where you could maybe drive one designated iconic vehicle on the grounds with their staff or something to make it a little more engaging than just visual - maybe something to think about for the future.
Overall, lovely place, not only for car enthusiasts.
David Solots
Very interesting collection of European unusual cars. Well worth the admission price.
Pamela C
We were on a trip from Boston to Tennessee and stumbled upon this excellent Museum filled with tiny cars and unique cars! So much fun nice way to kill a couple hours.
Stephan G
Great stop on our trip to Nashville.
Anyone who likes cars should make the trip.
Kenny Mueller
So many one of kind vehicles. Well worth a visit.
vegaswedding62606
Great place to spend a day for anyone who likes cars. So many rare cars and other vehicles to see. Easy to spend over half day here. We got there at opening time and left around 130 just because we were hungry. A must see if you're in Nashville.
Katie Stavely
The price to tour the museum is great! The guy at the front desk was super friendly and the cars are so unique and cool. This is the best car museum I've visited so far. Very neat!
Logan Narmore
This place was awesome 😎. Lots of cars and bikes. Garage parking which is pretty cool. And there's even museum pieces where you park. Wasn't packed when we went. Definitely will come again since they are adding to the museum all the time. …
Sherri C
Unique, old and new cars as well as some motorcycles, and bicycles. A cool place to check out!
Mark Mazzoni
Interesting cars, bikes and motorcycles on display normally not seen in other venues. Entrance fee is reasonable and there is free parking.
Jay Scott
Was probably one of the most interesting and coolest car museums I've ever been to. Definitely have off the wall cars but still really interesting. Could spend a long day there if you wanted to read about every car on display.
Vijay Naik
No disappointment even if u don't like cars. Quirky and cool. .
Michael Sakowich
An amazing collection of Automobiles, bicycles, motorbikes and more. This unusual collection of European cars, micro cars, race cars, propeller cars, amphibious cars (and more) is so unusual and different. You won't see these at you local car club or car show. If you are a "car person" you will DEFINATELY want to put this museum on your "Must Visit" list!
Christopher Hickey
This was part of our to do list and I did get to see a great collection of automobiles, from various countries, as well bicycles and motor bikes from the early 1900's. definitely worth a visit for car fans. Add this to your bucket list if you are visiting Nashville.
Pete McShea
We loved it! The entire family found something fascinating.
terry hooper
Many of the cars were small European models or even peddle powered cars. A few of the cars were well known models from years gone by.
Jane Carol
A must see! Absolutely fabulous place! Wonderful people working at the place as well! New cars being shown on a regular basis!
Jasmine Gunning
This place is so cool! There's such a large variety of different cars, both unique & rare. The volunteers walking around were so nice & offered additional information that was much appreciated. We went on Father's Day weekend, so they were letting fathers in for free, which we thought was really nice.
Kacper Jarecki
Extremely unique cars - so cute!!!
Night Bird
Lane Auto Museum Nashville. We decided to check out this automotive museum and it was one of the more unique auto museums I've seen in awhile. This automotive museum has a wide variety of european collection cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Also, propeller driven vehicles.
If you have time I would suggest stopping by this unique find.
Tom Forse
This museum ranks amongst the best we’ve been to. Cars are grouped under the national flags of their country of origin. Interesting stories involving the car’s histories and owners are posted beside the cars and shared by museum caretakers. Below the main floor are even more cars in various states of renovation. Rides and demonstrations of the vehicles are scheduled at various times. We spent 4 hours here but could have enjoyed several more. One amazing auto museum. We will be back!
Walter Boles
Absolutely amazing, especially for the $12 price of admission.
Robin Haynes
An amazing collection of vehicles! Enjoyed reading about each vehicle although I wish print was a little larger!
Robert Lee
Great museum with a horrible location. Traffic is a nightmare in a run down, industrial neighborhood.
The collection of cars is fantastic and well maintained.
Jessica Jensen
Highly reccomend. What an incredible, affordable, and unique experience! Free parking too! Thanks Lane Motor Museum!
Onelia Izaguirre
I loved it! Affordable and lots to see. Just can't touch anything which is understandable. I would definitely visit this Museum again
Bob Taylor
Lots of foreign cars you don't see in the states. Plus they have a DeLorean.
Dani Gustafson
Amazing place! If you're lucky enough to get the basement tour you will be overwhelmed. Loved it!!!
Frederick Oettinger
This was a wonderful museum, and my wife and I really enjoyed it. You could walk right up to and around the cars, which isn't always the case at museums like this. The collection is a lot of very unique and innovative vehicles including on of the largest "cars" I've ever seen. It took about an hour to self guide through, and was well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facility was very clean. They even had a big play area for children who are bored of the cars. My favorite part was an old Periwinkle Citroen 2CV that you can sit in!
Nathan Schomburg
A hidden gem in Nashville! Even people who aren't into cars will love this mix of wild and weird vehicles
Tracy Stanley
Good price for so much to see. And even a play area for little kids!
Richard Slack
Was a nice visit, they have quite a collection vintage vehicles many that I have not seen before, also each vehicle had a bio or video about the vehicle very neat
Batman Wayne
I'm not a car buff, but this museum is very very interesting!!
TREANNA STEWART
This place is amazing. They have a Ford Model-T!!!!!
Sheila Skemp
This is a must see!! We really enjoyed it. The tour of the basement is well worth the money!! So many unique cars and things to see!!
Caring with Carrie
The cars were cool, but the building wasn’t! It’s a very old building, and the only way A/C is pumped into the building is one big tower in the middle. No vents throughout. It’s essentially one huge room filled with windows. If you come here in summer, prepare to be SWEATING! You can’t bring food or drinks in either, and they don’t even have any water fountains! Not sure how someone hasn’t passed out from the heat here before. It’s BAD.
Jeff Barr
Eclectic mix of the one off to microcosm. Worth the time spent for sure
Terry Waggoner
Definitely go! My wife and I spent about three hours looking at the cars and it was a lot of fun. If I had been alone I would have stayed longer. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a tour of the cars "downstairs" that are not on current display. The tour is an additional 6 dollars. Plenty of free parking. Check the website before visiting.
Michael
Beautiful car exhibits. Info placard by each car was great. Nice history & production details. This museum has the coolest vehicles. Could easily have spent a couple days just looking. Definitely will make the 8 hour drive back to see it again.
eschool librarian
Truly a world class, absolutely Incredible auto museum.
There are also historic and unique bicycles and motorcycles.
You can get right up close to ever vehicle. There's one car you're invited to get into take take photos. The staff is great. They're very knowledgeable...every staff member is extremely knowledgeable.
Austin Henry
Very unique cars. Stuff most people have never heard of along with a few cars you have heard of but never seen. There are a few replicas, but most are originals. No ropes or barriers, you can get close to the cars (don't touch). Good value, plan to spend at least 2 hrs or up to 6 hrs if you are one of those people who has to read every placard. Reasonably priced, very well put together exhibits. The whole museum is inside of an old bakery which is a unique setting itself. They rotate several of the exhibits, so you can go back another time and see new cars. My wife and I loved it and will definitely be going back.
p anderson
Terrific Collection of Unique Cars, some Bicycle’s, a few Motorcycles and more. Super friendly staff and a great value. Absolutely worth a visit and close to Downtown.
Gil Harari
This place is just awe inspiring. Really rare cars and the staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. Definitely take the vault tour if you can. I have been to several car museums and this was my favorite. Motorcycles there too.
