Reviews of The Galleries & Bookstore at Library Square

An absolutely lovely discovery today!
We needed something to do while in town and found this by chance while looking for art galleries. This is a part of the library system in town, but is unique. The building has multiple floors, but there are various spaces open to the public. There are three distinct gallery spaces that display art works of various types. Also there is a bookstore and gift shop that carries both used and new books. There is also a large area that focuses upon artistic Arkansans and has their art available for purchase. From small jewelry pieces made from discarded comic books and hymns all the way to massive statement pieces.
The staff were knowledgeable and quite pleasant during our visit.
We enjoyed the artwork, browsing the shelves of books, and selecting small mementos to purchase. The entire experience was delightful and we shall return to enjoy future exhibitions as they are made available.

One of the best free things to do in town - frequently changing exhibits of art and history related to Arkansas, as well as a retail gallery with a wide variety of Arkansas made arts and crafts. Fantastic paintings, wood and ceramic sculpture, fiber arts, T-shirts, cards and jewelry at all price points. The Concordia Hall gallery usually has exhibits about the Japanese internment camps that were located in Arkansas during WW2, and the floor is a patchwork of different woods from Arkansas. Great spot - I always take my out-of-town guests here.

The store is really nice but some of the books and outher things they have are just way to much to pay. I'm sure i could find any of the books they have there in target or anywhere way cheaper! The staff was pretty sweet though and they had local books. That just what i wanted.

Lovely gallery with local fine art. Great gifts made in Arkansas.

The Galleries have the best handmade cards and locally made art. If you want to give a unique gift, this is the perfect place to shop. And they have new exhibitions and art all the time. The exhibitions are free to view.

If you want to buy a one of a kind art piece by a local artist, this is a good place to go. Also a good place to walk around and look at unique art pieces. Very reasonable prices and all kinds of artwork from jewelry to canvases.

Excellent curation of one of a kind art from local artists. Arkansas has some amazing talent. You will be impressed by the chic and modern designs.
