Reviews of The Neon Museum Las Vegas
Seth Baker
Excellent. Take your water!! It's cool for kids too but not too young. A lot of standing and listening which isn't ideal for them! The Brilliant part was great too and would be good for kids. - but again a lot of listening but the Brilliant has more video/tech to watch.
At first I didn't think I'd like a museum with a bunch of old signs but it was actually great and one highlight of my Vegas trip.
If you're okay with walking and the heat - highly recommend. A cool way to learn some history of Vegas.

Only in Vegas can you find such a unique and interesting place. This museum dedicated to the "light" history of Vegas is unique to say the least. The guides are super knowledgeable, and they do a great job of sharing the history of each of the signs and how they came to the museum.
For those going there with a larger group, make sure to book ahead as this place is busy. Staff is accommodating in a pitch but not the norm. Must stop for a different sight on your Vegas trip.

This was a really fun experience. Not only was it great visually but super informative as well. Our guide had extensive knowledge on this history of Vegas and some if the iconic spots. Seeing the neon signs up close was really awesome. You can see the original paint and the craftsmanship that went into designing and building the signs. Highly recommended

What a neat, outdoor museum preserving some of Vegas' neon history. Self-guided walking tour with a QR code available to scan for more information on the signs, as well as Docents available to answer questions. Pre-bought tickets as entrance to area is based on ticket time to help account for guests. This ensured it was not crowded, plenty of time and space to wonder about. Photos with camera phone are fine, there are other listed restrictions with recording and professional photography. This was a family-friendly museum that was worth the visit.
The Lovely Lyss
This was such a neat little museum! Definitely bring water or buy water from their gift shop as it gets toasty out there. We did a self-guided tour but next time we’re in town we will definitely do their nighttime one to see the signs lit up. the employees were all super friendly and you can tell they genuinely love working there. They gave us some history about some of the signs and we even got to sit in on a Pride themed gallery talk to learn more about LGBTQ+ history in Vegas. Check it out if you’re in the area!

Very cool place with some awesome history and stories to hear! I would have liked to go later on in the evening since the some of the signs light up but either way we still had a blast. Some of the sign sheer size where amazing. And some places don’t even exist! A must visit if your in Las Vegas!
Caroline Hackney
This is a neat place to learn some Vegas history and see some signs. Best visited after dark for the full effect. We just did the guided tour and our guide Kat was delightful; very informative and entertaining, and very clear about where we were going next and where to stand etc. This would be fun for older kids but not young ones who would likely bore or tire of the stop/start, with specific places to stand and listen. Would recommend reserving tickets online to avoid waiting like we did.
Natalie Delcorps
We made a reservation for the tour at 9pm. Our tour guide was awesome! She walked us through their neon signs, giving history to Vegas. I enjoyed hearing the story behind the bright lights.
The tour was 45-minutes long. Make sure you wear comfy shoes and drink water. We did the additional Brilliant! Show. They had lights reenacting how the signs used to glow. The artist paired it with music while the projector flashed lights on the signs. It was ok, but I think the tour is the best part overall.
Apparently they are a non-profit which is neat. They restore these neon signs. Our tour guide said it is cool to see people come back looking for the sign where they were married awhile ago.
If you want something different yet fun and low key, I would check this out!
Varu Taru
If you're a fan of neon and Vegas history, go here. They have many restored signs, your ticket sales go to conservation of the materials as best as they can.
The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and will answer every question you can think of quickly.
The ticket price is fully worth the experience. I recommend buying both shows!!
alana bee
Absolutely amazing experience! I recommend visiting this attraction if you find yourself in Vegas! The tour guide we had was enthusiastic and fun. I was in awe of the impressive projector skills displayed on the inactive neon signs. Said signs were brought to life vividly and realistically. I truely appreciate the thought, dedication and effort that was put into this attraction.

We took an early evening tour this week with tour guide Leann. She was fantastic and very informative. I loved getting to see all the old neon signs. The Moulin Rouge sign was beautiful that they have restored. It was really cool to hear the back story to some of the iconic signs you see there. We enjoyed seeing the lamps from the Aladdin there, as that was the hotel we stayed at on our first visit to Las Vegas. I really am glad that we made the trip to the Neon Museum and highly recommend it!
Rachel Sharpton
Really unique and special museum with classic pieces of Las Vegas history and architecture. I went at night, which was so worth it to see all the lit up displays. Our guide was really good, and you can tell they really enjoyed their job. Some of these signs are over 40 years old and they still look great, thanks to the museum's preservation work. I highly recommend this as an experience to top off your stay in Vegas.
Allison Baker
Highly recommend the combo experience with guided tour and the Brilliant light show! It was a great mix of history, fun tidbits about Las Vegas, and fantastic music. Be sure to buy tickets in advance and arrive 10-15 mins. I would suggest timing your tour so that it the sun will go down during the tour and you can get fantastic photos.
Indigo French
A must-see when visiting Vegas! I loved the whole presentation of it. The guided tours were entertaining and informative. Do yourself a favor and also get the tickets to see Brilliant. If you like the vintage and retro signs of a little window into history, you won't regret it.
Sara America
Great tour of old Vegas lights. We visited in the day, but I'd recommend visiting at sunset to see some that can still glow. The temp was also very hot during the day and our phones overheated quickly. Be sure to talk with the staff about sign facts, they are all so friendly and informative!
Faith Leon
Really cool place to visit. Informative tour, pretty interesting hearing about all the iconic signs of Las Vegas. Wish there were more signs lit up but I understand they are working on them based on funds they raise. Definitely stop in and see. You have to make appt for the tour ahead of time, they sell out all the time.
Gina Maxwell
I had been looking forward to The Neon Museum for months. It lived up to all my expectations.
It is a must see/experience when in Las Vegas. I was on the guided 45 minute evening tour. The tour guide was great and extremely knowledgeable. We will be back.
Tamara Tague Mickelson
A neat way to experience Vegas history. Outdoor
self tour during the afternoon which was warm/hot, but beautiful old neon signs. Some are restored and lit which is hard to see during the day, but you can book an evening guided tour if wanted.
HoldTightAndPretendItsAPlan
Fun and informative!
The tour guides are knowledgeable and really get into the history of Las Vegas (which I didn't expect). They also have the tours down to a science with how exact they are with timing!
The signs are beautiful, even the ones yet to be fully restored. And the artistry behind them has you appreciate them even more.
And the gift shop was really good. I got 3 neat and unique magnets for an amazing price. :)
AnnaSophia Servin
Very cool spot to glimpse into the history of light of old Vegas. It's very close to Fremont street and an accessible experience for everyone. The area is a little sketchy, but the building is newer and there is parking specific to the museum. No professional photography allowed but I got some great shots of sunset and dark. We did the self tour but I want to go back and do the guided tour at night!
Chandler Blake
I would definitely recommend going at night. We weren’t able to fit that time frame into our schedule, but I know it would have enhanced the experience a lot more. If you go during the day, wear sunscreen and a hat! It’s a great stop to get some history from Vegas and awesome for photo opportunities. We spent about 30 minutes there.
Clifton
I had a lot of fun here. It's a guided tour of Vegas history, while checking out refurbished artifacts from many years prior. Some of their works are absolutely massive and stunningly beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable. They even let you snap a few pictures, which are awesome for your night sight, if your phone has it. If you're in to Vegas, I'd certainly check this place out, it's a quick Uber from Fremont Street.
geo79 amg
If you are in Vegas this is a cool place to visit. It's a museum with a lot of retired neon signs that once we're in a casino. Some of them can't be restored, but it's nice to see them being used as a historical museum. I love this tour at night so you can get some awesome pictures.
This place is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts, and cultural enrichment. Founded in 1996.
You can check online for prices, and what time they do the tours.
Rabail Abeer
If you are interested in history of Neon signs and would like to see all the famous signs from back. This is a place. It was a short 45 min guided tour with variety of signs there history cost and everything. The guided tour was followed by north gallery visit and the light show was amazing where all dead signs come to life. If U r neon fan must visit.
Janna Murphy
Great job repairing the signs, interesting facts about the history of Las Vegas. Very Nostalgic for me. You go thru in small groups so easy to hear, easy to see. Charles our tour guide was fantastic! Would definitely recommend!
Sara Boucher
Great for locals and tourist. Parking was full when we got there so we parked around the corner at Cashman and it was a quick walk around the corner.
We did the combination tour with a guided tour of the main museum and the Brilliant! tour/show which was beyond amazing. The your guides for both were spectacular, answered all our questions, and gave great details.
Would definitely recommend a visit and the combination tour. Both were fantastic and well worth the visit and price!
Samantha Woo
It was a bit smaller than expected. I went during the day so it was $20 but I think if you go at night when all the lights are on I think it was over double the price. I'm sure it's amazing to see at night but to me prob not for the price. The staffs were lovely and very knowledgeable of the pieces there. Very cool to check out overall if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Ray Torres
Must see if you are spending time in Las Vegas! Night tour is the best and it brings back mementoes of the old casinos that once were on the Vegas strip! Tour is about one hour, there is a cool gift shop and it’s great for the whole family! Kids and adults love the lights!!
Nena Rodriguez
When visiting Vegas I highly suggest stopping by here to take a tour.
The guide was fantastic and had so much info to share that went along with the signs.
And the signs were just beautiful.
The gift shop had reasonably priced memorabilia much to my surprise.
Lindsey Mann
Absolutely our favorite thing we did while in Vegas this week! Our tour guide was so fun. He was knowledgeable and funny. Learning about the history of the signs and Vegas was such a joy!!
Brittany Leach
I love this place and can't wait to visit again.
So many people want to visit at night. I wasn't able to but loved the vibe during the day. It's more of a wasteland/post-apocalypse feel and it's awesome.
Definitely worth a trip!
Jenna G
The Neon Museum is a must see for your Last Vegas trip! We stayed for the show after the night tour and it made our evening all the more magical. Our tour guide was lovely and I loved hearing the different stories behind the signs and showed a whole new side of Vegas history. I wish we had a bit more time to take photos with your party/not having to rush because of the larger tour groups.
Michelle Foster
This place was super cool! I loved seeing the old Vegas signs and hearing the history of them as well. I highly recommend the combo ticket for both the night tour and brilliant tour. You won't be disappointed.
Anna Zucker
Great place for early evening visit! We did boneyard tour and brilliant show. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Signs were very interesting to look at and the brilliant tour was amazing, signs looked like they were lit up. Go and have a little history: you will enjoy it!
Casey Johnson
This was such a neat museum! Our guide was great with telling the history of the signs and extra fun facts about Las Vegas through the Boneyard! The gift shop has some cute items (I got an ornament). I will say though, if you go during the summer, drink lots of water. After a day of coffee and sodas, I nearly had heat stroke. I couldn’t see or walk. The staff were super nice and helpful. Helped us call a cab, brought some ice packs, Gatorade, and the security guard was trying to keep me from falling asleep and made sure we got the cab as close as possible. I will definitely go back with my mom when it isn’t 111 degrees! It was amazing other than me not properly hydrating.
Laetitia L
Great place to visit. We visited it in a glorious winter sunny day. We listened to the tour guide who had a lot of insights about those neon signs. If you are interested in social history, design, fonts you will love it! I am pretty sure it must be even kore impressive at night. When I visited (Jan 2020) there was a small but great exhibition about Tim Burton as well.
Carlee Ingersoll
This museum has been on my list of places to visit since ABC’s The Bachelor filmed an episode in there years ago. It was just as cool as I knew it would be, and our tour guide was amazing. A little bummed I couldn’t take photos with my camera, but was happy to enjoy everything in the moment. Would make sure to include this on places to visit when in Vegas.
Joseph Ladd
Hands-down the absolute best attraction in Las Vegas. As a local, I am a member not only to support the history that is preserved here, but because I can take visitors here again and again and never tire of it. I literally learn something new every visit, and feel like a more informed local for it!!!
I highly recommend the evening guided tours which display the restored signs in all of their glowing glory and provide expert historical context while exploring the collection.
Joshua Perez
Excellent museum that's both visually impressive and is also filled with interesting history. We did the guided tour at night, highly recommend! The light show, "Brilliant" seemed interesting, but if you can only do one (there's no package deal for both of them together), I'd recommend the tour.
JD Moore
Excellent place to visit, especially if you've been someone that had been visiting Vegas for years. You will see a lot of things that take your down memory lane, as well as signs around going as far back af the beginning of Las Vegas.
I've been during the day and during the night. Night tour is definitely the way to go.
45 minute guide for work plenty of photo ops
N.A. P.
Bought tickets for right when they open. There’s already a crowd of people waiting to go in. Lots of people who want to take selfies. There’s an app you can download to learn more of the interesting history. Once you’re let in, you just roam around. It was great people watching. Some very cool signs there and then you exit out the gift shop.
jib_jeep79
This tour was fantastic. We did it at night and loved it. Very informative tour guide, encouraged to take pictures and very clean. I would highly recommend it. They do ask that you don't take video, but pictures are encouraged.
Johnn Jones
I thought it was just piles of old signs, wrong! Our guide, Johann, was knowledgeable and funny! It was a history lesson filled with anecdotes and stories about Las Vegas and some of its most colorful and charismatic characters! Definite recommend!
Franco Scarcella
This is a must do, it was awesome to see all the older Las Vegas signs and learn about their history. Our tour guide had a great sense of humor and gave the tour at the perfect pace!
Definitely support them if you have the opportunity!
Annalise T.
Had been here before when they had the Tim Burton exhibition, which was cool. This time we had a guided tour and it was a really great experience. Our guide, Bob, was super knowledgeable about the signs and their history and really made it come to life. He really helped us get the best out of our visit to the museum.
Anthony Steele
We wanted to try this place for a while and we really enjoyed the experience. We did a night tour, about 45 mins long and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and interactive with the group. Lots of cool signs to see and learn about. About a 15min walk give or take from Fremont area. Debated on using an uber due to being late at night and around homeless people.
Alex Barrus
We went for a guided tour and had an absolute blast looking at the signs and learning tons of amazing Las Vegas history from our hilarious tour guide, Leanne! If you are lucky enough to have her guide your group, you’ll have an amazing experience! We will be returning tomorrow during the daytime for general admission to explore even more of the boneyard! Highly recommend if you’re into history, design, or just like looking at pretty signs!
Haleigh Gilman
My first time in Vegas and I knew I had to see this place! The Neon Museum didn’t disappoint— totally worth the money! Our guide, Bob, was fantastic (you can spot him in some of these pictures) & made the tour entertaining, while also teaching the group lots of fun facts in a short amount of time. Hope to visit again!
Quia Querisma
If you're a fan of Vegas history, this place is a must-see. I'm sure it's cool in the daytime, but night tours are undefeated. Our guide was a lot of fun and gave us a generous amount of time to take photos.
Josh Brex
We enjoyed the museum, the history is great, and if course the place looks amazing at night. We did both the guided tour and the light show afterwards. I would have skipped the guided tour (assuming there's an option for a self guided walk through the park) I found the tour guide to be a little too hammy. It seemed like the ratio was 70% her working on her one liners to 30% talking about the signs. I'm sure some people enjoy that, it's just not for me. Overall well worth the money, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
A D
We purchased the Double the Glow Experience which includes the Guided Tour and Brilliant! Experience. We went in December….BIG MISTAKE. It was COLD AF. Like miserable. Then after the main guided tour there was another 45 min tour of the north gallery. We dipped out early because we were miserable and the tour started off with a mural outside the north gallery that took forever. Not their fault at all, we were just done with the cold and ready to go at that point.
Cool place to check out, very cold in the winter, and guided tours are pretty much the full 40-45 min. I enjoyed myself in the main Boneyard.
Samantha Yeager
Highly recommend! Not only are the signs super cool, the guided tours teach you a lot about the history of Las Vegas! Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable but funny as well. Definitely make a stop at the Neon museum if you get the chance!
Scott
Very cool experience, lots of history with old Neon signs all throughout the city! I highly recommend visiting during night time, so you can see some of the signs lit. This is a must see for any local or visitor. Non-profit meseum, they are always adding new signs or historical Las Vegas architecture
Christina Hernandez
Such an awesome experience and the tour is very cool and informative
We stayed in the back to take pics. Depending on the tour guide they don't mind photos I'm sure. At the end you're allowed to stay in a certain area and take photos. May go back during the day to explore more
Alexis Miller
A fun, interesting and beautiful museum! Definitely go at night to see the signs lit up. The guided tour is worth it and very informative. This is a great little detour from activities on the strip!
Karl Whinnery
An awesome nonprofit with great tour guides. The tour guides make this. We went at 5:45 and our tour guide Gabe was amazing. Knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about everything. We learned lots more Vegas history than expected but it was so cool.
Chipper Whatcott
Not sure how this could be less than a five star review.
The signs were so cool. For anyone who is interested in graphic design, typography, advertising, or anything marketing-related, YOU’LL LOVE THIS PLACE.
I guess if I had a complaint, it would be that I wasn’t able to see every single sign because there are so many.
The tour is a little pricey, but we thought it was totally worth it. Plus the money goes to the non-profit that runs the museum to keep them going and fixing up old signs.
Would even consider going again.
Aaron Moreno
We did the boneyard tour at night. The tour guide provided great insight. The light were amazing and the visit was well worth the hour or so spent. Great preservation of history of Vegas through the rare art of neon.
D Robs
Neon museum is a must see when in town. It’s a great history of the city of Las Vegas through signage. We did the architectural tour and learned a lot about the buildings and casinos and neon signs. We went at dusk so everything looked really dope.
Sharon Wollman
You don’t have to be a native of Las Vegas to come and see this museum. If you’ve been to Vegas once or have been to Vegas throughout the years this is the place to be. Old Neon signs from the 20’s through the sixties, seventies up until today. Take the guided tour of the Neon Museum and you’ll learn much more than you bargained for. There is a movie type Neon story afterwards you can go see. It is a separate purchase. It’s called Brilliant. You’ll hear the story of how this was put together as well. Sound track is magnificent from old up until new songs. This is the place where you can really hear some good old “Las Vegas tales”. I highly recommend.
Tina Sieber
We did the guided tour and the Brilliant! Jackpot show. Both were awesome, but if you have to choose one, do the guided tour to see working signs and hear about their history. Get tickets in advance and, if you booked a slot for a tour, don't expect to join an earlier tour. There is a waiting area, but no WiFi.
Mary
If you're visiting Vegas this is tour is a must. In terms of being right in Vegas this was one of my favourite stops. Loved the old signs and the tour guides who were amazing.
Nikita Hernandez
Very cool historical neon signs. Fun to look at and an Instagram lovers best friend! Great gift shop as well! I definitely want to come back and check out in the evening!
Robert Ward
Very cool museum. They give you lots of history on Vegas and the signs that made the city iconic. Highly recommend going at night. This should be a bucket list thing for visiting Las Vegas.
Henry Basta
My wife and I highly recommend! Our tour guide was awesome. The mixture of art and history really made for a memorable time. The gift shop was great too!
Jordan Black
I've wanted to do this every time I came to Vegas, but this time I had my own car. Old Vegas is all but dead, go an enjoy the preservation of this city's history. All the people that complain about the cost of the experience are missing the point. It's a 501 C3. Non profit. The $20 entry is one of the few revenue streams they receive to house, restore, and display the signs they have. It costs money to curate any museum collection, and most museums don't have pieces that cost tens of thousands of dollars to restore and display. So pay the very low (for an hour of entertainment in Vegas) cost of entry and enjoy their collection. Maybe learn a thing or two! For the full experience pay for and take the guided tour. Preferably with Kat, since she's amazing! This museum is a labor of love. No one ever had to collect history for you to enjoy, but these lovely people did. Don't be cheap and leave bad reviews because you didn't enjoy yourself since you're an uncultured swine.
Karla McNally
I have been wanting to visit for many years and finally got the opportunity...it did not disappoint. The staff were incredible, highly knowledgeable and super friendly. I went when it was still bright out and now really want to visit after dark.
Snoopy Terrier
I wasn't sure what to expect of this place. But when I went inside, I saw a lot of neon signs that I remembered from yesteryear.
I wish I could remember her name. Our tour guide told us all kinds of great information with a sense of humor. I now know that neon, when lit, is red. Argon is blue. I had to look up the other noble gases.
This is a great non-profit that preserves local history. Thanks for the history lesson!
Nick Riggi
Make sure to check this, the tour was cool.
Go at night.
Cool during the day, went back at night - 200x better.
Its all non profit, and the story behind how they get there is super cool, definitely check this place out!
Casey Sermons
My friends from San Francisco invited me to this tour. I was pleasantly surprised by this experience. The tour guide provided a lot of historical information in an upbeat manner. It made the tour enjoyable
Douglas Hunter
This place is a unique off the strip experience that is fun for photos! A look back in time at countless old signs from old Vegas casinos. Tours are available, but we chose to just walk around and take pictures. We spent a couple hours just taking pictures. There is a giant skull that if you zoom in from Google Maps you get a great look at it!
rolf brathen
Great local history and useful info about casinos and local attractions of past and present. Had a great tour guide who recommended taking photos. Visually exciting with great context to the artwork and the city/ region over the past 120 years. Well worth it. Go at night for a great display.
Justin Metz
Amazing Amazing and Amazing. It was a smaller area for an outdoor Museum but they are a 501c, amd they really are working hard to preserve this part of the Las Vages History. You have to go check it out when you are in town. I am posting alot of pictures but they do it no justice unless you see in person. For sure go after dark and highly recommend the guided tour...SO MUCH INFORMATION! I also remember a few of these hotels and signs from when i was a kiddo. GO CHECK IT OUT!
Mia Suma
We visited the place by self guide and one hour before the first guide tour. The museum is not so big, you just need 20 minutes to enjoy. I think the story might be inspiring instead of only taking a photo. From the story , we can understand the some history of las vegas. I suggest to take the guide tour for more information.
Just do it
Heather Boswick
While in Vegas we wanted to do something different then
gambling on the strip every day!
Did a day trip here. Really neat place. You pay to enter and you
walk around the courtyard outside and view historic Vegas neon
signs. They are so majestic and cool looking sitting in the desert
sand forgotten- but not forgotten here.
All of the workers are so passionate. The one guy (I forget his
name but was amazing) told us all about the stardust sign and
took our photo for us! They offer umbrellas from the hot beaming
sun since vou are out in the open.
Really neat offbeat place. Fun giftshop with quirky things.
Support Vegas history and small business's by coming here!
Val Selby
If you are into Vegas nostalgia, you must visit. Highly recommend the tour at night to see iconic signs lit up.
Tour guide Randy was amazing and I love that our entry fee is helping them restore more signs. This is a Vegas must visit.
Chuck Phillips
PLENTY of things to do in Vegas. Here’s one I hadn’t tried before, “The Neon Museum,” especially the “Neon boneyard.” I took the guided tour, which is not cheap, but if you’ve been to Vegas numerous times and have a natural fascination for its history, it’s worth it.
I showed up at 9PM, and just my luck image001.pngit started to rain. Turned out I was lucky. The rain really makes the color on the signs pop AND, the low cloud cover, plus the full moon made it ideal lighting. (Most of the signs are no longer connected to power)
Also, as a result I had the tour guide all to myself. Like any good tour guide he was a geyser of information. You’ll see Andy, tour guide extraordinaire, in one of my photos. You may recognize him as one of the experts on pawn stars
I was so bummed when the Stardust came down in 2006. Not only was it popular in films, especially “Casino,” but I stayed there a few times. Plus, it was famous for its 188 foot sign. Without a doubt it is the museums largest sign, virtually impossibly too large to display and as a result is displayed in 4 or 5 separate pieces. I was also bummed when they closed the Hard Rock out on Paradise Road. This is their largest functioning sign. As a result, it provides excellent lighting for that end of the boneyard.
Agus Santoso

My wife and I love to go to museums. I read up on The Neon Museum, and since we were in Las Vegas, we decided to go. The museum is located near Downtown Las Vegas. The museum’s welcome center is the former lobby of the La Concha Hotel. You start in the welcome center, and then the tour guide takes you on a 45 minute tour through the Neon Boneyard outside. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic! I learned so much about the history of the casinos and businesses that used these signs. She even went over the process of creating the neon signs.
It was well worth the time and the cost for the tickets. It is good for adults and children. The paths around the Boneyard was well lit.
Ralph Fyke
Enjoyed my experience at The Neon Museum. As a local I would definitely recommend this place to visit if you want to enjoy you're time in Las Vegas. The staff is supper informative and is very cordial. My tour guide Ashton was wonderful in telling us grand details of the history of Las Vegas thru the usage of Signs that have been persevered. Thank You The Neon Museum for the experience.
10/10
Must Visit in Las Vegas
Valerie Tobin
Cool things but overpriced for a 15 minute walk around small area where signs are crowded. They love the Hard rock guitar which was hard to photo bc we had to shoot upward.....no room to get back far enough from guitar. Dark was over booked the entire time we were in Vegas so only could get in during day.
Tiffany Munoz
Overall loved this place.
We got engaged right before we got to this place and we finally got the right picture.
Our tour guide was very friendly and super nice, unfortunately our group was really big and some guest literally wouldn't stop talking but we loved each sign and the history behind each one. Wonderful place!
Teedle Dee
Really cool to see at night. Not very big, and 28$ felt like a lot of money for the 45min we were there. But where else could you see these amazing signs all lit up?
Bob Kielstra
Great little museum showcasing some of the historic Las Vegas neon (and argon) signs. The guided tour was very nice (and done in a small group in my case) with a very emthousiastic tour guide. Sorry to say I forgot her name (again, sorry), but she mentioned she was a 4th generation Las Vegan and even shared some personal Las Vegas stories about her family. Nice little giftshop and there is parking at the museum. Its about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Fremont Street, but please, if possible take the car or public transport, because the walk there goes through a somewhat dodgy area.
Scott Mack
Finally got around to visiting this and wasn't disappointed! Really cool tour and got some good history about Vegas! I definitely would say spend the little more money and do it at night!
Nicholas Fulgencio
I had more fun than I expected. We did the guided tour and our guide was very knowledgeable about the signs in the museum's possession. It was very cool to hear and learn about the history behind the different signs. Highly recommend!
Alex Siegel
I loved all the beautiful displays and history behind the Neon Museum, but I wish we could have learned more. My family paid extra to get the guided tour, but I think due to the large group they allocate for each tour it just felt very rushed. The tour guide mostly asked us trivia about the facts instead of informing us about them, which was less interactive as those who already knew about Vegas had more of an engaging experience. I was disappointed that we skipped over some neon signs in between the ones our guide pointed out, especially when at the end he told us we could not go back and look at any of them or take pictures. Because we were so rushed and in a large group, I felt like we didn’t have enough time to truly take in the beauty of this museum. Additionally, I think more information, maybe in a pamphlet or in signage by each display, would have enriched the experience much more. Overall, I enjoyed learning about the history and beauty of Las Vegas through the Neon Museum. I just wish we could have gotten more depth.
Ellen Harris
This was on my vegas bucket list and it didn't dissapoint. The guided tour of the bone yard was fantastic and the light show was spectacular I think I took as many photos in my 2 hours here as I did in the rest of my week long stay in vegas. If I could give it 10 stars I would! This was the absolute highlight of my vegas trip!
Abbey Bamford
a last minute decision but a highlight of my las vegas trip! the guide was very knowledgeable and there was a huge collection of neon signs dating back long ago. highly recommend.
Ronny Kosgal
We had a lot of fun, the staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. The history show and the guided tours are outside and most of the waiting is also outside, so contingent on the time of the year, be mindful of extreme heat or very cold and windy during the winter. The best time to visit is after dark, to really admire the signs and lights. We also had a super knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic gentleman named Gabe guiding our tour. They have a small parking lot that fills up quickly, so you are best off in the overflow (cashman parking) area a few feet away.
Elisheva Ben - Ari
If you're in Las Vegas and you're looking for a unique location, this place is for you! It's a little on the pricy side but it is so beautiful to see the old Las Vegas signs here.
We recommend coming at night when the signs are all lit up!
You MUST buy tickets in advance, they sell out pretty quickly.
Tim S
Super cool location. Really enjoyed it. Lots of history here. I would say most signs are not operational, but there is a good mix of working ones. Its worth a visit especially if you like history, neon, or old Vegas.
Bryan Countryman
A fun and amazing time. A great way to relive the “old Vegas” feel and see some great pieces of art. The Brilliant show brings some old signs to life in a way never before seen.
Ash
This is a must see place. All the old Vegas signs that are retired & treasured are right here!! Very informative & friendly staff!! The photo booth is a good time highly recommend this experience!!
Daniel Flanders
The main tour is an incredible walk through time on the strip. The trip back in time is entertaining and inviting. The graveyard show afterwards is like something out of another reality. A truly immersive smart show with old broken signs that pulls in your attention and emotions
Joe Gold
We absolutely loved this! If you are looking for a different experience that is still very "Vegas" this is a must visit. I especially recommend watching the Brilliant! show where the neon signs come to life in a very creative way.
Alberto Cortinas
Great way to showcase Las Vegas’ history. Signs are beautifully placed in the boneyard for you to enjoy. Some have working lights, would have liked to see more of them in a restored state.
GLHS 279
Such a great idea to save and showcase these amazing pieces of Vegas history. Cool little gift shop as well. We enjoyed the day visit so much we went back for the evening tour as well. Two different but equally enjoyable experiences with some of the signs illuminated. Convenient and safe Uber/Lyfe pickup spot, or short walk to Freemont area (just to be safe would not recommend walking it at night).
Amy Schilling
I think this would have been a better experience if it hadn't been so hot but we also weren't expecting a 25 minute rest between the two exhibits. Some of the staff were also not the friendliest, I don't want to say they were rude but they definitely weren't fun or accommodating considering the temperature.
T Clark
This was a unique, great way to learn about the history of Las Vegas. I did the Brilliant + Jackpot shows on a Saturday night in October and everything was perfect-- parking, crowds, etc. Jackpot might be icing on top that you could skip if you didn't want to spring for both but I enjoyed them both.
Taylor Vision
We had a great experience this past August, the tour very informative and our tour guide Heaven was awesome. She was very engaging and had a great attitude. She even had a little time to talk to us after the tour. We took a lot of great picture, and I really enjoyed myself. Next time I’m in Vegas I will definitely visit again!!!
Sarah Emma Williams
Historic, vibrant illuminating guided tour by Elmor provides 45 minutes of Las Vegas's oldest neon signs and information about the Strip, Las Vegas, the hotels and the famous celebrities of the era. The later additional 45 minute music and light show was spectacular and warped you back to those beautiful illuminating signs sparking the imagination to visualise them in action and was a lovely end to the evening.
gizmo gizzard
Being our first time coming here I really enjoyed it. I suggest getting the tour guide to take you through it's worth it it's not that much more. And of course come at night so you get all the light. Don't forget to tip your tour guide it's good to support other businesses. Gracias
gyee001
Had a great time at the museum. We paid for the guided main boneyard and Brilliant Experience. Well worth it. Our guide was born and raised in Vegas and had lots of interesting and informative information. We learn about the rich history of Vegas. They had a couple really great working neon signs left from the Tim Burton exhibit. I probably enjoyed the guided main boneyard more then the Brilliant experience but both worth seeing. If you were onto going to one, I’d pick the main boneyard. We tried to get a cab from Fremont St there but the taxi driver told us it’s close enough to walk. When we started walking we realized it was sketchy at night so I’d Uber. I think the cab driver just didn’t want to drive us as it was too short a ride and he’d have to go back to the end of the taxi line afterwards.
Nick Bukosky
This was a really fun trip into the history of Vegas and the fun signs. We took a little walk from downtown, close to a mile. However if walking please know that you do walk through not some of the nicest places / people, if your nervous just Uber.
If you want to do the guided tour call ahead and buy tickets.
We went right at dusk.
Jimmy Zuehl
What a cool place! We went at dusk, and it was magical. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They are a wealth of information about the signs and Las Vegas history. Make a reservation. Time slots fill up quickly, usually at least 24 hours in advance.
Michael Pittman
This place was ultra cool. I love vintage stuff and this just oozes old Vegas. I'd recommend an evening or dusk visit. These signs are as big as life. You should see it.
Simon Waddington
I had no idea what to expect but the guided tour option after dark turned out to be an interesting and educational visit. The tours start every 15 minutes after dark and last 45 minutes. The museum is compact but you'll be given an almost piece by piece tour of the space covering their history interwoven with a good deal of Vegas history. I recommend it for tourists and Vegas residents alike.
Diane Partington
It was pretty cool to see the restoration of these neon signs and hear about the history about Las Vegas historical sites. Recommend the guided tour.
Geovanni Padlla
Great place to check out ,some of the iconic old casinos sign history.
& great site for pictures, its located a few blocks from Fremon St. @ nigth they charge me $28.00 with the tour guide. the place its not too big but it has the greatest sights.
Max Mac
The Neon Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying, and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment.
They offer a 45-minute guided tour, where you can see more than 200 signs which are illuminated at sunset with ground lighting as well as numerous restored neon signs!
Tarra Wright Many Chief
The guided tour at night was amazing. The information was really interesting and our guide Gabe was very engaging and funny. This was my second visit but first guided tour.
Lisa Bates
Went during Covid… so all of our pictures are masked, but this place is really neat. It’s a must see for locals, at least once. Our guide was super knowledgeable and had great informative stories about each piece. Unique Vegas experience for sure!
Tim Romero
The Brilliant tour brought back many fond memories of Las Vegas from 60s and 70s. The Boneyard was a beautiful display of the neon at night. Our guide was wonderful!
Dennis Hector
Very cool and informative tour. Loved the tour guide we had. We did the double tour and that caused it to cost more but was worth every penny.
Christine Barajas
Took the guided night tour and had a great time seeing the neon lights. Enjoyed the stories behind these iconic lights and am so glad we decided to do the tour.
Nicole Massie
Was skeptical about paying the price of the guided tour, but since there is a student discount I figured "Why not"? Absolutely didn't regret it. I have to say the tour guide enhanced the experience so much that it's a must try at least once! I had no idea that hearing about the history the of Las Vegas casinos could be so interesting, but along side all of the beautiful relics of days gone by, it was captivating. Our guide(I believe her name was Marimar, sorry if I got it wrong!) was super awesome and full of so much knowledge. As a history geek, it was so cool to hear about all this from an actual historian. Loved her, and we thank her for a memorable night! I would surely come back for the Brilliance show next time I'm in town.
Deborah Wise
It was very cool in that I remembered a lot of those places. Even learned some historical facts I was not aware of. It's been on my bucket list for a few years. It's definitely worth going! Wish the gift store had some more items.
Michelle Nickila
Such a cool place, you can take a bus from the strip to downtown and it's just a small walk from Fremont. Loved all the old neon.
Lance Rafdal
Great museum. Tour is informative, and beautiful. Blends in a lot of Las Vegas history with the art of the signage. Both well known and iconic signs as well as lesser known pieces.
JaceTheScarFace
It’s a must do!!! Super cool. You learn the history of the signs and it’s a pretty short tour about 45 mins. I really recommend doing it at night so you can see the signs in action. They always have new signs being added every time I visit Vegas. They also added the Brilliant tour which I thought was fantastic since it was my first time for that tour!
Jer Espe
I took the guided tour. It was nice to hear the history of Vegas filtered through some of these iconic Vegas signs of yesteryear. It was on a late October night and it was 75 degrees out. The desert night was clear with only the bright neon auras, of these ghostly old Vegas sentinels, leaking into the dark sky.
Yardley Goldon
Pretty cool experience only thing I’d wish that we were able to go through the museum on our own instead of having someone guide us through… The tour went pretty fast and I didn’t get to take enough photos
Claudia Lindsey
We visited the Neon Museum while on vacation in Las Vegas. Highly recommend the docents are extremely knowledgeable and you learn so much and the signs are amazing!!
Mr. Guerra
Visited as the last group of the day. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable, not just about the signs, but LV in general. A great experience to get a lil feel for history. I was saddened to learn so many older signs were not able to be salvaged due to demolitions. Great experience overall.
Dan Cordock
Cool Museum, can walks round in 15-20 minutes. Best going in evenings for the best pictures. Very different and off the beaten track for Vegas.
Lyndsey McCafferty
We went for the Tim Burton experience and oh my gosh it was amazing! It was so neat to see all of the old vintage neon signs with Tim Burtons art mixed in.
Whitney Martin
Very cool experience. A mix of history and beautiful signs!
Be sure to buy your tickets in advance. They do sell out.
Mark Roemer
Great collection of historical signs that brought back so many memories of Old Vegas. The guide was wonderful, funny and educational. Def recommend for everyone expect maybe the youngest kids.
Gary
Finally got around to visiting the Neon Museum, after many trips to Vegas... amazing. Absolutely loved the guided tour, the signs are stunning and the history behind them and the process of making them is intriguing.. for 45 mins we stepped back into the glory days of vintage Las Vegas.. the tour guide Tracy (I think) was brilliant and very funny.. can't recommend the tour highly enough.
Marlo Anderson
Love this place. Bring you camera as you will see iconic Vegas signs from the past!! Well worth the price of admission.
Kayleigh Davies
What an amazing place! I opted for the Double the Glow experience, beginning at 9pm so it would be dark.
The tour of the main boneyard was excellent. It was great to see this iconic signs so beautifully presented while being filled in on the history. It's just a stunning place! Hearing the little snippets made me want to find out more about a lot of the signs and places and people behind them.
The Brilliant Jackpot show began straight afterwards. I think the way that the unrestored signs were lit was really quite incredible, but that was about it for me. I felt the show was too long and I did find myself beginning to be bored. I can imagine other people might really enjoy it, I just think it was not for me. If I was to visit again I'd skip this part.
Samantha Hicks
Honestly this was my favorite part of my whole vegas trip! A perfect mix of history, art, and education!!! The Neon Museum will forever be a must stop for my Vegas trips!!!
pilotdane
We did both a night guided tour and the Brilliant show. Both were great and you have to visit at night when the signs come alive.
The music during Brilliant was great and many people were dancing along with the show. And, having a guided tour of the museum was good to hear more of the history and they pointed out some things I would have missed without the guide
Levi Grant
Great tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a good history of Las Vegas. I'll be back for other tours and during the day.
Valued Customer
Highly recommend going, especially after dark to see all the signs lit up. We got lots of great stories and rid bits about Vegas facts and history.
Eric Gallegos
What a special way to preserve a city's history. Take the night tour it's a great way to learn a little bit about the unique and colorful city that is Vegas. Pound for pound one of the best ways to spend your money in Vegas.
The light show is cute and fun. Great entertainment for all ages.
Ricardo Salinas
Wonderful place to see some of the old signage from the classic Las Vegas landmarks. Definitely recommend the guided tour to explain the signs and where they came from.
I do suggest to go at night so you can see the lights light up in all their glory. It is an outdoor venue so a night show is great as well.
Davep518
Very cool place! Some historic signs here that you can only see in Vegas. We went during the day but it’s probably best to go at night to see them lit up.
Linda Wright
Happy we purchased the guided tour tickets. So worth learning about the history of Las Vegas.
Michael Tedesco
One of my absolute favorite places in Vegas. Highly recommend seeing Brilliance. This is a perfect spot on a date or just hanging out with friends. such a great hidden gem here. I would definitely recommend getting the Sahara membership if you're bringing at least two people with you, going twice would pay for itself and helping the organization is great.
Rafael Magura
Awesome experience would totally recommend doing the evening show so you can really experience the signs at full capacity.
Issy Scibona
I was really looking forward to this museum and, honestly, it beat my expectations. It was a great experience, and the guided tour made it all the much better (definitely recommend a guided tour.) We went before sunset, so the signs weren't all lit up. It would probably be even cooler if went at night. Definitely recommend this museum!
Robert M.003
Nice quick stop if you have time. Don't plan to spend too much time here. It was neat to see the big vintage signs up close. Nice gift shop as well.
Tori J
I loved this museum..you can take great pics here for social media. Reserve your tickets in advance on their website, especially during the peek vacation months in Vegas. Please make sure to follow the guided tour on the museum's website to learn the history behind each sign.
A.D.
Our tour guide was fantastic. They have a good set up to help everyone feel safe during covid. Lots to look at, and the 45 minute tour went by fast. Definitely go at night when they have their signs lit up!
Amelia Visnauskas
A must visit for loves of design and/or history. From the museum lobby to the “boneyard” full of partially and fully restored neon signs, this place has stories wherever you turn. Thank you to our knowledgeable tour guide for sharing his local perspective!
TATIJANA PERAUD
Fun late afternoon stop! We booked general admission for 4:30 pm to get a little bit of sundown and night time without having to book the evening tours. The QR code to scan and read more about the history of signs on display was really informative.
Visit Vegas Places
Beautiful place to visit when you're in Las Vegas. Love how the desert history is preserved in this museum that brights up the night! Great place to take pictures with family and friends for your social media content.
Rogamatic Agan
Really cool place. Lots of great casino history. The layout is really easy to navigate, many exhibits
Katherine Howett
Love this museum and returned for a second visit this trip to Vegas! The tours during the night are amazing, telling so much history about Vegas along with the neon that made the town. The signs are fascinating and beautiful and really build a history for such an interesting place. It is in Vegas and on concrete, so always rather hot, so do dress appropriately and bring water (only allowed to drink water). There is free parking on site which makes it easy to get to. Love the new signs added and would visit again on another trip!
Dezwijger1982
It was fun to see alot of Las Vegas history there and our guide had alot of fun stories since she claimed to be 4th generation las vegan.
Samantha Nelson
Best to do the night tour. Tour guide was super knowledgeable and delightful. This was just really cool.
Anthony Thomas
Cool concept but can be costly to get to for such a small collection. I would recommend a tour for added insight and stories, or down the app. Unguided general admission can be over in 10 minutes without taking the time to learn the backstory.
Nicole
Very neat to hear the history of these neon signs! Awesome setup and great show at the end of the tour. Definitely worth it!
Sea Jae
Who doesn't love shiny things?! This was the single most recommended attraction when I started planning our visit to Vegas, and it did NOT disappoint! Not only was I hypnotized by the lights, but I learned a lot about Vegas and its history, which really serves to transport you to a time when these pieces were in their prime. 10/10
Christian Duque
Nice tourist attraction 25 minutes away from Las Vegas strip. We went on a tour guide that lasted about 45 minutes. He was very enthusiastic and made it that much more enjoyable hearing about all the pieces at their museum. I did think it was a little short for $28 a ticket.
Jess Wakefield
If you have never done the guided tour at the Neon museum add it to you Las Vegas bucket list! Because it was awesome! Despite being a whopping 36 degrees we had an absolute blast as we were guided through the past of Vegas neon history! We will be back for sure!
Kelley Perry
To say it was awesome was an understatement. If you're into vegas history at ALL, this is a must see place. We want to go back next time we're in town!
Jay G
Our guided tour was awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the signs as well as the history of the City of Las Vegas. We had purchased tickets in advance (highly recommended) and would not have gotten into our tour group if we had not done so. This museum is all outdoors (except for the gift shop) and is located about a 10/15 minute drive from The Strip. We will definitely visit again
Ashley Martinez
We were not disappointed!! I had this museum on my Vegas bucket list and could not have been more happy with the tour. Our guide gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos. He also touched on a lot of history behind the signs (even some that were not up front or lit up for display). People of any age would enjoy this tour, especially if you want your kiddos/students to see certain chemicals at work or how they can be manipulated 💡
We found tickets on Groupon for slightly cheaper than the museum’s price. Their gift shop is adorable, too! We’ll cherish our postcards forever 🥰
Cindy H
Great tour! It was amazing to hear the history of the strip & the stories behind the signs.
Alejandra Garcia
Can't wait to do it again but at night, they have activity books for kids all our kids had lots of fun doing it.
Jennifer Gimblin
Great tour! The guide was really knowledgeable about the signs, designers, process of creating the signs, sign restoration,, and Vegas history. It was a really fun and entertaining walk through the boneyard.
Michelle Ruth
A neat display of lights from the past. It’s like a Vegas graveyard for the most beloved signs of yesteryear. Reservations required
Steve McOwen
Great experience. We visited on a week night and did the both the guided tour of the collection as well as the Brilliant! Jackpot. Both were great. If you are able, go after dark.
Dan Coleman
Took the guided tour. Well worth the price. Tons of cool information about locations, history as well as dates. I mean it's not European museum like Benard complained about here, but very cool bit of American history specifically Las Vegas.
Robert Cope
What a great tour! I'm a Las Vegas local and truly enjoyed the vibe of the staff of this venue. Jo, our 23 year old guide, was so entertaining, engaging and interesting that I now want to do all of their other tours. The signs are really neat too.
Town Traveller
Great collection of neon signs. I wish all of them are all light up and restored. Kind expensive $20 per person.
Ryder Wilson
I highly recommend, even if you don't like museums YOU WILL like this. lots of history and unique experience
Thomas Gaetano
It’s amazing
There is not a lot around. Be careful going if it’s hot.
It’s a little short. But we really enjoyed it.
James Craxton
Really enjoyed my visit to the Neon Museum. We booked a night time Double the Glow Experience. Although both were enjoyable, if you only have time for one, I'd have picked the main guided tour as the better. Really informative about some of Las Vegas's history and fantastic to see up close some of the old signs. The Brilliant Jackpot! show is fun, but I found it to be much of the same after the first few minutes, but with different music. Definitely worth a visit though.
Grace D
This was a neat museum and Summer, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend coming at night when the signs are lit up.
SeeLos
A must see in Vegas! A guided tour is recommended and make sure you wear warm clothes in the winter especially warm shoes!
Renegadewolf “RenegadeWolf85” 85
This is an absolute blast. We did our tours at night so we could really enjoy our tour. We did the Brillant tour and Guided Tour. The Guides are very knowledgeable and learning the history behind the signs was great. Definitely recommend you check it out
Pinoy Baller
It's discounted for Las Vegas locals. I recommend going when the sun sets and booking for a guided tour so you know the history of each sign.
Elizabeth Hadden
I’ve been wanting to visit the Neon Museum for years and years. Finally made it for an evening tour and it was great! Our group wasn’t too large, and our guide was so informative and entertaining. You get to see all the stunning signs along with learning a lot of Vegas/art history surrounding the signs. The standard tours are about 45 min but they feel much faster. There are so many amazing details for all of these signs! If you’re into neon, history, or art, this is a great stop.
Mya Malone
I only give this a 4/5 simply because it's NOT as BIG as it looks. However, seeing this at night for both events and learning the history about it is worth the price
Rebeca Salas
A little smaller and more pricey than expected but overall worth it thanks to our lovely guide on the guided tour. We enjoyed it
Bob Mango
What are unique outdoor museum with neon signs from the past. My wife and I enjoyed walking around the yard and seeing the wonderful patina on the signs
Dominic Sberna
One of the best places you can go in Vegas time and time again! Improvements and restoration to these beautiful signs are always happening, so expect to see something anew when you come back for another visit!
It was incredible to see the Moulin Rouge sign put back together as well as the Stardust all lit up! The former of which was not together yet our last visit and the latter without lights. In a town not meant for the nostalgic, this is one place where it truly pays to be.
Lauren R.
Great place to see old vegas signs up close. If you pay for the guided tour you'll get to see other signs that are normally closed off when you choose to do the self guided tour. It takes a few go arounds to really take in the signs since you might miss a few details. I suggest going to the last time slot for the self guided tour when the lighting is just right for photos and a few signs are lit up.
Brian Kloft
Great tour lots of great information too. Randy was a great tour guide. I highly recommend going on a tour.
Paul Schmutzler
Visited here after the NFR. Five stars isn't enough. Please pay thupcharge for Brilliance. Well worth it.
Leonard P Miller
Fun, interesting, well-done, especially the second "show" which is a technological marvel that really brings to life some of Las Vegas past!
Lynn Gordon
Walking through the Boneyard is so cool! It will be interesting to see what they make of the place over the years as they continue to acquire more neon signs and grow their space. It is a slice of real history!
Mike Borisenko
This guided tour was a great way to see and learn about the history of Vegas. Tour lasted about 40min which was perfect. Lots of great photo opportunities!
Rod Taylor
Great place to see where the old signs go to retire. Some have been restored and are lit up. Others the carbon ran out or they are too damaged to repair. There is a light show that uses projection to light many of the signs that are non functional.
Brandon Dilts
The tour was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable and had great stories. The restored signs are so pretty. Kinda romantic. Plus the light show after is super high tech and very cool. I'd recommend the Brilliant show to anyone in Vegas!
Shreyes Shyamsunder
Tucked away towards the north of the city, near the downtown area is this fascinating collection of vintage neon signages dating as far back as the founding of Las Vegas. It's what they call a 'Boneyard', but a very unique one. These old and dilapidated signages are brought in, restored and displayed here as you walk through and explore the history of the city in the middle of a desert.
Don't forget to stay for the 45-min illumination show as the signs come back to life in a spectacular display of light and sound.
Ryan Coyne
Overall I enjoyed the experience and I'm glad I went. However.
Tours only - you are not allowed to roam and comfortably take photos without pressure to keep moving or stay with the group until the very end, and there will likely be another tour behind you preventing going backwards.
The lobby is fairly tiny meaning that if you get there too early for your tour time you're going to be awkwardly feeling in the way, which might lead you to sit on one of the two benches outside, or an open outdoor space across the side street - perhaps in the cold for a non-insignificant amount of time - like we did.
The sign displays have some real highlights and fun back stories. Most of the signs on the museums property are not fully restored / not functional, which is understandable, but there's also extremely extremely sparse utility spotlighting to allow you to fully enjoy some of the signage in darker areas.
The Moulin Rouge sign is worth the price of admission if you're a fan in the slightest, they put 35K into restoring it to full glory and it shows.
Our tour guide's jokes were charming at first but laid on dramatically thick throughout the experience and frequently didn't land on any of us, which wouldn't have been a big deal but they were doing this compulsive mouth smacking noise to begin LITERALLY WITHOUT EXAGGERATION, every single sentence. Something has to be done about that, it's distracting and I can imagine nobody has the heart to speak to this person about it because they are kind and nobody wants to hurt their feelings but our entire group walked away feeling that it took a great deal away from the experience and the information they were sharing.
Lastly, I'm giving this 3 stars because it fell below my expectations compared to the value I expected for the ticket prices, the tour guide's speaking manorisms, the lack of attention to detail with utility lighting consistency, and the complete afterthought of a gift shop that was more of a generic Amazon grab bag than I felt was justified and capped an underwhelming experience and expensive uber ride that I would have rather blown at the tables.
Bryan Bishop
Fun experience. Did guided tour and the brilliant experience. The brilliant experience uses sophisticated lighting poles to shine on the unrestored signs to make them come to life. Super cool but more seating is needed to accommodate guests..good thing they had some folding chairs available at brilliant to help with shortage of seats!
janice don
Small but so much to see. About 1 hour visit, but the kids loved it. Waay better than the Strip.
Marsha TravelMastersNWA
Lot of old memories from old Las Vegas Signs! Great place! Highly recommend!
Benjamin Houssa
Did the combo guided tour and brilliant jackpot.
Greg, our guide, was amazing. Really nice and interesting information about the signs, the designers. He shared also a lot about Las Vegas history! Awesome experience even though it was really cold.
The Brilliant Jackpot was a bit disappointing.
The concept is great, but I feel it did not deliver the promises.
Ash R.
My friend & I were visiting from out of state & we really enjoyed our guided tour of the neon boneyard! Our tour guide was very friendly & knowledgeable & we had a great time!
Nikki Staniewski
Staff was very friendly Indoor location and restrooms clean and well kept. The tour and Brilliant show were awesome and well worth the price
Emily Foster
Definitely go after dark, it's interesting but not super exciting. Guess it needs more information behind some of the lesser known signs and such.
BobKat B
We did a night time combination tour that included the main sign boneyard, and across the street, The Brilliant "show" on old Las Vegas neon signs and history. The tour guides were excellent and used amplified speakers so everyone could hear them talk. Fascinating and the show, which brings the signs to life with music, was upbeat and mesmerizing! So glad we took the time to do this. If you are into architectural history and nostalgic artifacts, this is a gem for you! The combination tour is more expensive than regular admission price and you get a specific time slot. Free parking and easy to get to.
Bar
Our tour guide Bob was so great. The tour was quick and informative. We took lots of cool pictures and learned a bit about Vegas.
Heather Scher
I absolutely loved it! Went to the evening guided tour with the jackpot show after. I highly recommend.
The tour guide was highly knowledgeable and entertaining and it was fun to see the restored signs.
The jackpot show was AMAZING! So creative and fun. I totally enjoyed our evening in the "Boneyard" and will definitely visit again!

I thought this was a really neat slice of Vegas history. If you are at all interested in architecture or design, these are very cool! We went to the guided night tour, and I think them being lit up makes a huge difference. We also paid for the immersive musical experience as an extra. It was kind of cool, not sure I would recommend. The show you get to see is random. It would be nice if you could know ahead of time, as I wasn't a fan of the music genre we got and I probably would have opted not to get it if I had.
Lisandra Lilly Grizales
Such a wonderful experience, especially with the self guided tour. Absolutely loved it.
Paul Barber
Great guided tour. Elmer was a brilliant host, very good fun.
Rebecca Campalans
Well worth the price for guided tour. Learn a lot of Las Vegas history
Larry Besnoff
Go at night for tour and see great nein signs from Las Vegas history lit up.
MR. Onizuka
I've always been told to go at night and I see why. My wife and I took a guided tour of one of the I think 3 different tours you can have. our tour guide was pretty amazing she knew a lot of information about each sign, dates, names that I could never memorize. She knew fun facts about Las Vegas as a city and generally just made the tour better. It is an actual museum so there's a gift shop and all that fun stuff but nothing is donated that is a current event in Las Vegas so everything is from the forties the forties up until now.
Samantha Haggstrom
Great place with great people. Super awesome tour lead by Doug who was hilarious and very informative. They have a super cool array of signs that are lit up and some that are retired. Personal favorite was the Tim Burton neon signs. Bonus, they still use neon gas instead of new LED tech so you know it's the real deal.
Cheryl L
This place was so much fun! Really great sign art. Fantastic place to take photos. Definitely worth the trip!
Rafa Rivera
Amazing retro place for great photography. Excellent staff and interesting history.
Valeria Cortes
This is a great museum. I recommend going at night so you can see the lights all lit up against the dark sky. Also — the guided tours are worth it.
Toxteth O' Grady
The Neon Boneyard has to be booked in advance via the neon museum's website. They do not allow ad-hoc viewings. All the relevant info is on the website. the boneyard is located about a 15 min walk north of the fremont st area, near Encanto Drive.
Tour lasts about an hour and is well worth it as it's very informative. Some of these signs are world icons through the media of movies & television , and that's not being melodramatic. The Golden Nugget and Stardust signs spring to mind. Just a shame they didnt get the "Dunes" sign, and it appears they wont be getting the New Frontier sign either.
but this was the highlight of my trip to vegas, no doubt about it.
Eric Peterson
Our tour guide Elmer was amazing and made our visit even more entertaining than expected. He was extremely knowledgeable and I enjoyed that he provoked food for thought many times, which made for a very interesting experience. While we went at 8pm in mid-August it was still extremely hot, and I would recommend bringing a bottle of water and very light clothing. Great experience!
Jazzy Ventures
This was such a fun experience that I finally got to experience on a trip to Vegas! Will definitely be coming back‼️
Jarreau Freeman
I’m so glad I made the Neon Sign Museum part of my Las Vegas trip. I booked a night tour, which was great. Our guide (totally blanking on his name, but he was this 22-year-old kid who was super friendly and informative) was awesome. The signs were so cool and the history behind them was interesting. The tour was 45 minutes, which was perfect. Loved this spot. A must-visit, and a great place to take great pictures, too!
Liam Cusack
Excellent guided tour by Tia! It was great hearing about the rich history of neon signs in Las Vegas.
Paula Nichols-Brown
We wanted to go in, but it's a bit pricey for 1 hour
These photos were taken outside of the business
Leslie
Amazing nostalgia... Being born & raised in Vegas, I recognized so many signs that the tour guide didn't even touch on. It was a wonderful date night destination.
Erin Minor
A wonderful array of signs from Vegas-past and some great story-telling from the guides. Would have loved for the tour to have been longer or have more signage to read about the history. Definitely worth going after sundown and doing both versions of the tour. Thumbs up!
Rebekah Stephens
For enthusiasts and social media types. Better at night.
We went as a family with friends and we all had kids too. So we opted for the daytime hours to get a lower entry fee as well. I'm sure this place has a much better ambiance at night. It was hot and pretty boring during the day. I did enjoy getting lots of decent pictures but it was a short trip. They did have a scavenger hunt sheet for kids to do which was nice as well.
Overall I did feel like it was kinda pricey for what it is. Not bad but probably more enjoyable for others than me. Bring your cold water, sunglasses, hat, etc.!
Kevin Mullett (Kev)
Love this place. It is a really cool experience. Gives lots of history and it is really fun. I suggest the guided tour so you can learn about all the signs that they have
Xochitl Cervantes
Really cool place. Tour is great and interesting to hear and see the history of some awesome vintage lights. Definitely worth checking out
Mike Center
Saw the 'Brilliant Jackpot' display and Guided Tour - outstanding.
Had tickets so little wait.
Jade Reincel
It was definitely a great place to see in Vegas!! I totally recommend going at night book the last slot for the day so there are not much people on your group. I saw the last batch for guided tour and there are only 2 people on that group the couple technically have the tour guide all for themselves. As for us who has like around 15people on our group. The tour guide was so informative and throwing us a lot of interesting informations and trivias. You can take as many pictures they said but once the group moves on to the next sign you cannot go back or leave the group.
And that is the catch, we go there to take many instagramable pictures but the guided tour won't give you time to do that, the guide will keep on talking then will move on to next once done fro the other. Disrespectful it may seem, we went on taking pictures while the tour guide was explaining each piece of exhibit. I mean that's what we came for I can google it later if I want to know more..
That's the only thing that I didn't like. But i got my pictures in the end so I am still very happy I just felt guilty that I didn't pay attention to the guide that was talking the whole time. ✌️
Faith DeWolfe
If you are a tourist or a local, this is a fun stop for some sight seeing and to take in a bit of Las Vegas history. 10/10 would recommend a visit!! Great for all ages and not hard to walk around. Very accessable for everyone! I personally can't wait to go back!!
Christie Hanrahan
If your thinking about this, DO IT! Loved the guided tour at night. Love hearing about the history of these amazing neon signs. Great job at trying to preserve some old vegas history.
Gabriella Meghan
Fun, but about half the size I anticipated. Would only visit again if I reserved a night time photoshoot slot- otherwise, once was enough!
Jef Bale
I'm not sure it's worth the full price but it is worth going and just taking the hit on the cost, I think it was about $20. You only need about 45 mins but it's very cool to see some of the old signs. You can book a later slot to see them all turned on in the evening but pre book.
Angela DeHaven
This may be one of the best places I have ever visited in Las Vegas. Such a perfect blend of history, artistry and wonder creates a uniquely Vegas experience. Standing in the cold, desert night air with your gaze filled with sparkling lights is truly magical. A must see in Vegas!
Taylor Parker
We are destination wedding photographers and have had the pleasure to photograph couples at The Neon Museum several times. It's always such a pleasure to be there and so much fun! My clients always love the experience and the photo possibilities are honestly endless. We always look forward to returning!
Mark Rekshynskyj
Enjoyed it, but front desk folks are confused on what they offer. Good thing I read ahead of my visit. No discount for nurses... Every other group is covered except nurses.
Deanne Ramsey
interesting museum- staff is exceptional and is happy to answer any questions. not very big though and the $10 admission seems high for amount of time you can spend there.
Maverick916
Maddie was an excellent tour guide. Lots of good history on these signs.
Medan Mamo
Honestly one of the most memorable things you can do in Vegas. Our host Cat was amazing!!! This experience will give you an appreciation of the history of Vegas and neon signs. Do yourself justice and do the guided tour + the brilliant jackpot.
Maddie Minogue
So fun! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I enjoyed seeing old signs and learning about how neon signs are made!
Tony Weber
A must-see in Vegas! Car parking is available, or Uber there. Great tour and worth the money to see both the tour and the secondary show with choreography to music.
Shell Rae Doty
So interesting, the history. My favorite place I visited during my first trip to Las Vegas. Our guide was fabulous and so knowledgeable!!! We left there and went to Freemont Street to look for more historic neon.
irisann gonzalez
Both tours were amazing, However the Brilliant! Jackpot tour was beautiful. I loved the way they gave the old signs new life. Was definitely my favorite of the two. I recommend doing both if possible.
Jocelyn Darden
A great tour, one of the best things I have done in Vegas ,and they have an excellent parking situation
Volta Voloshin-Smith
Loved the museum! Such a fun activity to do if you're not into the casino scene. The staff is friendly and loves to chat about the different signs. Even though it was during the day, it was still really cool to see the neon signs. Highly recommend.
Matthew Neumark
Fun cool historical tour! Worth seeing!
Cindy Minor
Put this on your Las Vegas list! We went at night when the lights were all lit up and it was very cool. Our tour guide was so informative. They have parking and a waiting area until it's your tour time. Pictures were allowed and encouraged. A nice gift shop also.
Diego AWD
What a way to end the best weekend of my entire life. I still can't believe I managed to pull off a Vegas trip at 19 years old, by myself...
Thank you guys. <3
-Starlite was here
Crystal Ridinger
What can I even say other than AMAZING!! Vintage Vegas signs, history, and magic all come together to make this incredible experience for guests! We had an incredible time in the guided tour as well as in the brilliant experience! Definitely worth the price and the time! Our tour guide Dillon was on point!!
Jenn Gold
The place is clean and well-kept, and our tour guide did a great job! I did the guided tour because I wanted to be there at night, and the tour started on time and was very informative. I hope the museum can continue to grow by bringing in new signs and the donations to keep restoring!
Max The Cute Pomeranian
Excellent 👍 We went for the guided tour at night. It was spectacular! 😍
The only drawback was the tour guide. Although she was interesting and informative, she stood in front of the sign to tell the story the whole time. That inhibited us from getting good photos. Perhaps tell the story then move out of the way and tell more which would give guests a chance at taking good photos. We were there at 9:30 9:45 pm or so May 1. I meant to send an email to tell the museum how they could have the guide move out of the way for awhile at each sign for better photo opportunities. Thank you! We LOVED our time there!!
Sean Fox
Very interesting - Be sure to book your visit for after dark!
The guided tour takes around 45 mins, and the guides are very knowledgeable about the signs on display and the history surrounding them. It was great to see the famous (and in some cases, gigantic) old neon signs from Vegas' heyday, and the museum does a fantastic job of preserving and restoring them.
Tip - If you're headed here from Downtown/Fremont, take a cab or Uber as it's not the best location to walk to at night.
Highly recommended!
Kevin Heverin
Best quick intro to the history of Las Vegas. Most awesome collection of signage in one place!
Lada Plihalova
I had mixed up feelings with this one. I felt kinda nostalgic seeing all the signs - especially hotels I used to know, which are now gone, but also the museum itself is quite small. Do not expect huge exposition. Also signs are not sorted out - they just kinda lie one on another. It would be cool if they were at least sorted from the oldest to the newest. That way you could see the development from simple lightbulbs to led lights today. But I am happy as a local I did not pay the whole price - because I am not sure if it is worth $30/enterance
Sarah Raponi
I cannot rave about not only the Neon Museum but also the staff we worked with. The museum itself is just everything, you could not ask for a better backdrop to your night. Our guests were in awe of the museum and the history of the signs. I worked with Giselle and could endlessly talk about how great she was, along with the entire staff. Giselle made the entire process so seamless and was incredibly thorough in all responses she provided. If you are planning a Vegas wedding and want something just absolutely beyond, you want the Neon Museum.
Jennifer Schied
We did the general tour just at dusk. Great tour & enjoyed seeing the signs. Learned they are coordinating w the city to put old ones down Las Vegas Blvd so we drove the whole way back to our hotel that way.
Kyle Hall
An amazing experience all around! Our tour started in the "Boneyard" and Summer, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable and nice! We had the combination tickets, and the Brilliant Jackpot honestly stole the show. Do yourself a favor and hit this spot if you get the chance!
Piper Mathews
Such a cool place, especially if you like historical pieces and that "abandoned building" element. Tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable and it was so cool to old signs from long ago and even ones I remember seeing in their hay day. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth Truxell
Absolutely loved this experience! If you love old Vegas and want to do something different, check out the boneyard. Very informative tour guides. The exhibit is well done. Make sure you do a reservation and arrive before the start time. We got there right at sunset so we could see it during the daylight and night.
Steph Dee
Absolutely a must if you go to vegas.
I was so happy they played old tunes.
Wish they had some Vegas Vic merch, look fall over woth something with him on it.
John “Preston” Olivares
A nice little and fun experience that proves great for photos while mixing in some interesting history. The lobby itself is also a little piece of history too. Ultimately you have to book a time slot so just after sunset or during sunset was a great time for us to get decent photos.
Divine Urban
Booked the Brilliant show and it was okay… It’s basically a history lesson about Vegas lights and they play music, have colorful lights. But it wasn’t worth it in my opinion sometimes it felt dragged. Lasted about 30 minutes we walked out feeling unfulfilled, it could’ve been free. But I’m giving it 3 stars because they have nice customer service and if you go near the restrooms you can see the bigger signs.

The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada, that is known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip, as it is known, is about 4.2 mi (6.8 km) long,[1] and is immediately south of the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester, but is often referred to simply as "Las Vegas".
Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are on the Strip, known for its contemporary architecture, lights, and wide variety of attractions. Its hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, entertainment offerings, and skyline have established the Strip as one of the most popular and iconic tourist destinations in the world and is one of the driving forces for Las Vegas's economy.[2] Most of the Strip has been designated as an All-American Road,[3] and the North and South Las Vegas Strip routes are classified as Nevada Scenic Byways and National Scenic Byways.[4]

Some signs were cool. The tour guide was friendly but it was extremely long and not exciting enough and having to listen to the guide talk and control when i could look at the signs and which one at which time even though were roped off, made me leave before the light show. I want to take pics without he tops of 12 other heads in the pics but hey i gave it a shot. I paid for extra and all. Got a couple pics but won't go back. This felt like a 3rd grade field trip that only thing I'm excited about is the lunch my mom packed that day . More of a boomer type event.
Derrick White
Customer service was good prices were reasonable and they have a military discount for active or discharged veterans. My only problem if you're a true photographer you can only come in at a special time otherwise phones only. Still a great experience and if you have a tour guide it's even better in the boneyard.
Brian Turner
Awesome little museum, very knowledgeable tour guides.
For Brilliant - very cool, but the lighting is extremely dull at times. It sounds like a ton of work went into the exhibit (and it's great) but only the finale was full brightness.
Sharon Rumley
Awesome place! They have tours and we did the guided tour. The tour guide was great. They shared the history of the sign and the establishment. Definitely something to see at night when lighted. Museum opens at 3pm
Malisa Isley
Really fun and informative stop in Vegas. There's so much history wrapped up in the neon signs of yesteryear. Definitely go at night and get the guided tour for the full experience. Buy your tickets in advance to ensure your preferred time doesn't sell out.
Andrew Newman
An excellent place to visit to see and learn some of what makes Vegas what it is.
The guides are great. They not only talk about the signs and their origins but they also talk Vegas lore and history. You'll also learn about neon itself.
Totally worth it.
Jim Peterson
Matt was a great tour guide. Went at night to get the full lit effect. Would love to go at Golden Hour to see what I could do.
Bren S
Pretty cool.. Wasn't really what we expected.. thought it was a "NEON" light show but, turned out it was just a "light" show... with cool music. Kinda like watching a Christmas tree light show..
And it really is only 20 min!
Gift shop was OK. Didn't have any BIG t-shirts, no small stickers for cups, they did have some really cool sparkly postcards for .75 cents. Some cute jewelry (the blue shoe, the cowboy, a golden nugget, duck) would be super cute. But, we did have fun and that's what counts! Actually going back to see NEON lights. You would think they could possibly figure out a package deal. With military discount it was $19 ea for the 20min musical light show "Brilliant".
Hope this helps !
Ashleigh Biggs
Love love this place. So nostalgic. Hadn't been to Vegas in over 20 yrs. Couldn't believe my memories were now located in the bone yard for the oldies
HouTown1
We did the guided tour at night with Ashton. Although only 45 minutes, she explained several aspects of the signs in a very informative manner and answered questions about the signs, those she spoke about as well as others.
As a nonprofit, I wish The Neon Museum - Las Vegas the best with their endeavor to continue collecting these works of art.
Nik Richard
What an amazing and rememberable experience! Our tour guide, Cat, was full of knowledge and enthusiasm that kept the entire group engaged. We will be back.
Camgcan Griffith
This is a must see site when in Las Vegas. Tour guides are great and learn alot.
Julie Valencia
Never made it inside, next time. We didn't get to do the tour but from the outside it looked awesome. I suggest buying tickets ahead of time later on the evening when the lights turn on. We were told this is only some of the old neon lights. But seeing the Hardrock Hotel guitar was spectacular.
Carsen Popelka
After brainstorming places to do photos with my photographer, we landed on The Neon Museum. Their coordinator was very easy to work with and helped me find a day and time that worked for us and our photographer. They helped us get everyone to the right portion of the museum as there was another event happening in the neon boneyard and we were in the north gallery. Our photographer already got a few sneak peek photos back to us and they are absolutely stunning. Such a fun and unique place to have our wedding portraits & family photos!
Jerrid nellor
One of a kind experience, tour guide was very knowledgeable about the signs, Vegas and it's history. Definitely worth seeing !
Michelle H.
Our tour guide Dillan took us back in time! This museum is a stunning piece of history that everyone should see. I recommend seeing the "Brilliant" show and taking the guided tour especially at night. Absolutely breathtaking!
John M.
Awesome, awesome, awesome experience. What a great way to preserve the memories and history of Vegas. The staff are passionate about the tours and provide lots of great information. Absolutely a must see for anyone who appreciates history.
Zac Tenneboe
This was so much cooler than I thought it would be. I’d highly recommend doing it at night with the guided tour. Lots of fun Vegas facts and history.
Gary
The Neon Museum in Las Vegas was a great place to visit but I think they go way overboard with all their rules against photography. I've never seen any place taking things as far as they do.
They did not allow backpacks, large purses or camera bags. No tripods, selfie sticks or lighting equipment is permitted either. Okay, I can understand, and accept, those rules but it doesn't stop there. If you want to use a camera, you are allowed to bring one lens only. Also, no matter what camera you use, even if it's a cell phone, no audio or video is permitted under any circumstances, you are limited to still photos only.
It still doesn't end there. If they think your camera looks "too professional" or if it looks like you are doing a photo shoot, they reserve the right to immediately eject you from the museum, with no refunds offered. What exactly does a photo shoot look like and how do they make that determination? What makes a camera "too professional looking"? These are vague judgement calls based on the whim of whoever is running the tour.
All of this ridiculousness almost made me decide not to even come here. I'm glad that I did though because it was a very interesting place. I just don't understand why they are so unfriendly to photographers though.
Zabrina Rodriguez
Super cool historical experience. I learned so much and had a great time looking at all the signs. Recommend for the whole family! Obviously night is the best time to go
Yo.Boi. Daniel
This was great! At first i did not think a sign museum would be interesting but all the history made for a great night! I would recommend a guided tour as the tour guides are super friendly and really know there stuff! I would also recommend purchasing a tour online before you go as they are busy and the tours sell out fast! Included with a great gift shop and tons of great pictures i would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a fun time!
Justin Kahrs
Our tour guide Bob was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Lots of cool signs to see. Coming at night seems like a no-brainer... would recommend to anybody that is tired of just losing money in Vegas.
Speakeasy Ray
Great place with fascinating historical pieces. Have been twice and would highly recommend, especially at night time!
Erica Griggs
I went at 545pm and was too late for day and would have to wait til 8pm to go in so I just walked around outside and still loved it
matt barnes
Fun place to see this style of sign art. My advice to to go around dusk. Some signs are functional, maybe 2/3 are not. At dusk you can see the bright lights, but still get the full experience. But buy in advance. My wife and I got lucky they still let us in buying when we got there. The web guide adds so much to the history and experience. I hope they can get more of the signs lit up and get more on display. There were two areas full of signs that were inaccessible.
Richard S
My daughter had a wedding at this location in early October this year. The temps got into the upper 80’s/low 90’s during the time of her ceremony. The venue is definitely something original and nostalgic. However, wedding goers should be cautioned: the seating is limited. They have only a couple rows of benches and barely seating for 25-30 people. The ground is sand, which gets your shoes really dirty fast. There is ZERO shade. This is why I gave this place a 4 star instead of a 5. I mean, they literally have NOTHING set up for people who choose to get married here when it’s sunny. A couple of sun shade awnings tastefully done could cast shade both on the staging area as well as the ceremony area itself. I found it truly disturbing that they would charge people for this venue to be used in this capacity, yet offer no comfort to their paying customers. We got so sweaty and hot, some of us were seeking shade next to the neon signs on display (they were the only things large enough to cast a shadow). However, a worker there (who had her own large shaded umbrella) made it a point to continually harass us about standing too close to the neon signs. I have news for you. These signs sit outside 365 days a year, are exposed to all the elements of the desert- a few paying wedding goers standing within a foot of them is not going to damage them. This lady was rude and didn’t give one thought to how uncomfortable we all were.
Regardless, the ceremony was beautiful, so I can’t lower the stars due to that.
Harmonious J
My family is visiting from out of state. We decided to do the Brilliant and regular tour at the Neon Museum. Our guide Tia was amazing, funny and knowledgeable about all the signs. We had a wonderful time and will be back!
Alicia
If you are ever in Las Vegas, this is a must do!!! Definitely spring for the extra money to do the guided tour at night. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. The restored signs were beyond incredible. It is so nice to see this place preserving the history of Las Vegas.
Vincent Morgan
Very informative and neat, our guide was very pleasant and local.so you really felt she knew what she was talking about.
Amay Curole
A piece of history comes back to life, definitely visit at night like we did. The old signs from a lost art are fascinating to see!
Casey Marleau
We loved the neon museum! The Tim Burton exhibit was so well done.
The staff was really knowledgeable not just on the neons themselves but the city as a whole. Went during the day and stayed until night to see everything lit up. Very worth the wait.
Leonardo Arango
If Instagram and posting pictures of you next to famous spots in a city is your deal, then you must come here (not me, for the record... wife made me come here). Nice gift shop.
The whole museum is very neat, organized and well kept.
Erik Fernandez
Coolest place ever if you are old enough to remember the memorabilia in this amazing museum. A must visit in Vegas. Seriously, take just 1 hour out of your day from drinking and gambling and go see this amazing history.
Christin Lundberg
Have visited the museum twice in the span of 7 years. Such a cool place. Our most recent tour guide was Bob and he was great. A wonderful storyteller and full of great knowledge.
Robert Lake
This place was awesome with the history told during the guided tour. Also the Brilliant show I honestly had low expectations of but was wowed by it.
This is a must go to at night to see the brilliance of light from these signs that have existed for up to 80 years or so. The guides seem to be very knowledgeable with a sense of humor attached so again I say it’s a must visit in Vegas.
Steph Kotalla
Amazing place and the show is magical. Definitely a must see!
Mr Robberts (robb86)
Wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars! What a phenomenal tour and experience. I highly recommend getting the guided tour and experience combo. The tour is about an hour and very informative, ample time to ask questions, take photos and, get up close and personal with all the historic neon signs. The projector show was incredibly well done. Absolutely awesome music and design, very entertaining! We went to their latest time slot available at 9:30PM and it was fantastic. We would probably go back to see the signs in the daylight as well.
Andrena Ryanoneill
We really enjoyed the tour but would have liked a bit more time to read the information next to the signs but do appreciate there were tours taking place after us so they need to get you through quickly. The museum itself is in a sketchy area so wouldn't advise walking to it at night as we did .
Dianna Dutton
Was neat to visit. $20 a person I feel was a bit much to pay, especially for a self guided tour. There were supposed to be people along the paths to ask questions. There was one young lady out and the rest (several) were under the canapy out of the sun. All to involved with each other then help paying guests.
Sharon Coleman
Excellent tour! Charlie was extremely informative and a great guide. You hear history about Vegas that you may not otherwise find. Highly recommend!
lori geuy
Neat self tour. My G-baby loves the Duck. So cool to see the old signs and learn some of their history. We live out here and will go back for night tour to see the lights
Jason Munson
Very cool experience. I did the brilliant show and it was very impressive. You forgot that the signs aren't actually lit and it's all done by augmented reality. Great sound to go with the light show. Really glad to see these old signs used for a non profit organization instead of the landfill.
André-Pierre du Plessis
This place expanded so much it's hard to keep up with all their new offerings. The Brilliant Jackpot is unique - it just goes on way too long. I definitely got a cold from standing outside in winter for such a long period of time. Heaters would've been preferred. She lights show could be cut by at least 30 minutes. They try and sell it as a standalone event for those like me who already saw the main exhibition/ boneyard. But it's really not worth the money unfortunately.
Christina Cunningham
Very awesome place! Lots of really cool history and lessons on how the neons get their colors. Our tour guide was amazing and certainly knowledgeable! Must see in Vegas!
J. Isaac Barthelow
This is a fun way to get off the strip and see some vegas history. Everything is outside - so check the weather. It is an easy flat and level walk - good for everyone not strenuous. I recommend the guided tour - I learned a ton of interesting tid-bits from our guide. We also did the brilliant experience - super cool and great production value!
Kas14mang !
Great experience, had a 7:15 guided tour and I highly recommend this time because it's not too late and you are able to see the signs lit up. The guide had tons of knowledge on history.
Evanne Ellis
Cool place, but I LOVE neon. Get your tickets ahead of time!! Went around 9pm expecting to get in and they were already sold out for the evening. Tour guide was bubbly. Tour has good stories. Fun for something different. Local discounts.
L. W.
Very visually appealing and historically interesting. Tour was 45 minutes, which was just right. However, our tour guide talked way too fast, making it hard to catch and absorb some of what she said.
Adam Chapman
Great detailed tour of sign's. Highly recommend.
kristina kiehn
The Neon museum was great! Our tour guide Matt was amazing! We loved his sense of humor and his voice. My boyfriend and I agree that Matt made our experience there amazing! I hope Matt is your tour guide!
Jordan K
I'm not usually into these types of places or tours, but my Dad was visiting from out of town and he really wanted to go here for a night tour. Ended up going for him and staying for me! I really enjoyed the tour and the guy who gave it was very nice.
Chris Grant
Demure but good value museum. Scanning the QR code is a must for information on some of the more monumental signs. I visited during the day and it enabled me to see all of the signs on display. Take an Uber as it’s in an under-privileged area of town.
Martin Harris
We did the bone yard on the 4 December, Tia was our guide she was amazing, she went out of her way to help myself and my wife. Great knowledge of the exhibition, open to questions even on a freezing December evening. Shout out to the boss as well, top bloke, informative with the historical facts of the old hotel. Would definitely recommend a visit, just to see the guitar alone, personally my favourite was the moulin rouge or the massive metal pool player, love the history of old vegas.
Lauri Hart
Great little Boneyard of old Vegas signs. We did a day visit but they also have night tours which looked fun. Smaller collection than expected but worth the price & time
David Silas Tellyer
Enjoyed a night time tour around 7:30 pm with my immediate family. It was a wonderfully brisk 52 degrees; perfect weather for a walking neon tour.
PROS:
A great lobby that is reminiscent of quirky and fun motel architecture. Friendly service. Matt, our tour guide, engaged us with funny banter, enthusiasm, and confidence. The layout is grouped together in an esthetically pleasing, and historically significant manner. There are some show stoppers. The Tim Burton neon signs are truly amazing. The Brilliant show that is separated from the regular tour at an extra cost is worth the price. Incredible show that encapsulates the history of Las Vegas in a fun and idiosyncratic way.
CONS:
No merchandise based on Tim Burtons neon designs. At least 5 times the tour guide said, "And, we wish you could see this sign all lit up, but it is not working today."
Vinyl Record Dude
A must see. I recommend booking in advance and going at night
Mike X
Go at night and get a guided tour. Great information on the history of Vegas and about the technology behind neon/argon signs. Wide angle setting on your phone is very necessary. They make you check video cameras at the door.
Daniel Posbrig
A very unique experience of Vegas history. Highly recommend both the boneyard and the illumination tour. Definitely get your tickets in advance.
John Hurst
I really enjoyed the guided tour. It's pretty cool to see some of the old Vegas signs and hear about them and the process of restoring them. Learned some pretty cool Vegas trivia. I'd recommend going in the evening. We went right around dusk and i feel like that was the perfect time to see the place.
Cole Starr
Must stop for lovers of neon, history, and vintage Americana. The tour was interesting and the perfect length. The guide was engaging and all staff seemed interested in the mission of the museum. I would go back.
Deb Jeffay
Learned a lot about the history of Vegas and signage. Great place to take cool photos. I recommend going at sunset to see the signs lit up as it gives you the full effect of the neon signs.❤️
Heather Hodges
This place is so cool! They have the signs arranged so that you can walk thru, admire and take photos. They give you an informational booklet on some of the signs. There is also staff placed throughout the self guided wall thru to answer questions & give info on them.
You aren't allowed to bring a professional camera, it must be a phone & no video allowed. I would love to book a photoshoot here & definitely will be returning to do the night tour!
kevin stebbins
Charlie gave us a great tour. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Really a great experience. Make sure to go after dark to really appreciate the neon.
Garrett Miller
We did the evening guided tour. It was interesting and our guide was humorous. The staff at the front door and behind the desk were less to be desired. Make a reservation! Definitely a tour to cross off the list.
Vincent Green
Only issue was a member of management was rude. I realize covid has changed the rules of the game with public settings and mandates, but there is a way about doing things professionally and there is a way of doing things rudely. Unfortunately, she chose the latter. My wife and I were taking a picture and briefly removed our masks. No one was within 30 feet of us and we put them back on immediately. 2 employees politely asked to keep our masks on due to policy and we did, and apologized. A few minutes later a women Mgr. approached us to demand we keep our masks as we started to rely in agreement, she snapped with "or else we will have remove you from the facility."
I get everyone was just trying to do their job, but the latter demand was simply uncalled for and completely unprofessional. We had not removed our masks multiple time nor we we putting anyone else in danger. I simple request to adhere to policy would have verb fine.
Facility is cute. I really appreciated the glimpse into history on signage in LV, didn't need lack of professionalism though

Great little museum, well worth the visit.
Daniel Timmerman
Highly recommend visiting this well done museum and walking back in time to see old Las Vegas neon signs from a bygone era. The Brilliant show was very nice add on with narrative and light show. Highly recommend the combo package (which includes both tour and Brilliant show). A guided tour is also highly recommended. Tourguide was very knowledgeable. Have been waiting to do this for a long time so finally able to nab to an evening tour and show time on short notice. Under normal times, highly recommended booking tickets in advance.
Alex “Kraoden” Roach
Lots of sweet signs, and they do tours. I highly recommend the tours, they lengthen the time spent there and you get to learn a lot about Vegas history.
A must see for history buffs, still worth the price of admission for visitors or natives of Vegas
Jolene Gustason
Had a great time. Very informative. Walk down memory lane. Our guid..CLEA..was amazingly fun. She was totally into her task at hand. Had a great time. This should be in everyone's must see list
Stephanie Ellis
Absolutely loved this place! I got the Guided Tour + Brilliant and it was awesome! So much history here! When you first get here a security guard greets you and asks if you have tickets. You then go to the waiting area which is across the street from the entrance to the museum. It's a secured area with a fence all around so you're not out in the street. It also has plenty of room so people can spread out to social distance. You are required to wear a mask while you're waiting and then also while you're in the museum and during the tours. They also take your temperature before entering the museum as well as have you go through a metal detector like the airport. During the guided tour, a staff member walked us through the boneyard and explained all the history of the signs here based on the section we were in. We were able to take pictures during the tour as well. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun, she kept the mood light and funny! After the guided tour, we had to go back out to the waiting area across the street until our Brilliant tour started. I have to say, if you're not willing to pay for the combo ticket, definitely go see the Brilliant tour! I very much enjoyed this one more because they take you to a completely different area with different signs and these all are set up around a big circular area where you can sit down and watch the signs light up to music and a video about Las Vegas! I highly recommend seeing this tour! After the Brilliant tour we headed to the gift shop where they have a very nice selection of souvenirs if you want to purchase any. Overall I'm definitely happy I visited and would recommend it if you are looking for something to do since things are still not quite back to normal in Vegas yet.

Fun museum that highlights old Vegas and is quite Educational. It was fun for our entire party - kids to grandparents. Recommend going at or near dark.
Jeffrey W
I was a little disappointed in the small area of the exhibit. The signs are strategically yet sporadically displayed over other signs and the walk way is close to the signs making it slightly difficult to take pictures of the bigger ones. I did the regular daytime tour probably in 2O minutes so $20 was plenty. (Plus I spent more than that in Uber fees and spent more than 20 minutes combined waiting for the Ubers)
Ron
Wow let me just say what a great time. Pay the extra for the Brilliant experience. Trust me. The tour was great and our guide was knowledgeable. The signs are really cool and a must see if Vegas history is something you are into. The brilliant experience was extra but our favorite part of the tour. Definitely recommend one of the best attractions in Vegas. It's not huge so small kids and elderly should have no issues taking either tour.
Shockata
Absolutely fantastic peek at vegas history and nice expedition of shiny neon! If you are fallout new vegas player it gives nice vibing especially!
Tour guide knew what she was doing!
Not too long, not too short overall. 45min guided tour where you were able to take photos with your phone freely during it. We took boneyard tour at 9.30pm. Water bottles are allowed and i suggest bringing some with you.
Hell on Wheels
These older signs brought me back to alot of my childhood memories. Back when I was a little girl and my dad took me to Las Vegas for a family vacation . I was only 11-12 years old. The hard rock guitar was moved when I was in my late 40's and I was living here in Las Vegas . Who knew I would be living here. I just remember so much and the Neon Museum confirmed that I'll never forget any of those Memories.
I enjoyed this tour very much !!
I highly recommend if you want to learn some history of the Las Vegas strip 😊👍💯♥️
Thomas Alfano
This imo is the best museum experience in Las Vegas. It’s a living time capsule of where Vegas came from to present day. The guides here are fantastic and highly knowledgeable. It’s a must however to come here after dark to truly appreciate the lit signs.
chuck musgrove
Great history and a great guided tour.
Jenna Clough
Our group really enjoyed this tour! The signs were so cool, our tour guide was great, and it was a fun way to learn about Vegas history
Everett White
Awesome small museum, very well setup to display some cool Vegas history.
Darcy Haughian
Great! Definitely book the guided tour, it adds so much more to your experience. The Brilliant Jackpot add on is really cool too if you have the time.
Britt Ostergren
Surprised how much I learned here. Very endearing history of Vegas, the Brilliant show was ok. Cool, but a little long for what it was. The regular tour is just fine if you’re struggling to decide.
Austin Smith
Really cool signs, and surprisingly interesting history too
Janis Taylor
This was SO cool! Wanted to visit for years and finally got the chance. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient and made sure to give us time for photos. Probably the highlight of our trip to Vegas.
Natalie Maritz
Just like most of the reviews say: a must to visit! This is a non profit whose mission and vision is a little different from most - to preserve and inform people about Las Vegas history. Think about that when you purchase your ticket. I recommend going at night (and bringing a jacket!!!). I also would suggested doing the guided tour as you learn a lot and aren’t just walking through the “boneyard” looking at the neon signs with no clue of their history. Our guide was Doug and he did an amazing job, kudos to you Doug!
Cloudy Cowboy
This is a well created and maintained park displaying the signs representing the legends of Las Vegas’s past. The guided tour gives a deeper perspective of the park and details the rich history of Las Vegas.
Bryton Parfect
A very cool and unique way to preserve the history of Las Vegas! I’d definitely recommend bringing a lot of water with you, it gets very hot walking though all the signs but oh so worth it!
Candice Williams
from the bottom of my heart thank you. Great evening spent at the Neon Museum. We learned so much and enjoyed every moment. We will be back! Loved the after show!!
Allyson Piatt
We visited on a cold and rainy night but that was the only negative thing to say about our time at the museum. If you're at all on the fence about the double ticket, DO IT! Brilliant was one of the highlights of our recent Vegas trip, and everyone at the museum was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
Eddie
Go after dusk for sure. Nice staff and facility. For us, it was a little boring. Was nice to see some older Las Vegas history but felt we definitely donated to the cause.
Jackie Ervin
What an interesting slice of old las Vegas. Our guide, Randy, did a great job illuminating the history of the signs, no pun intended. We really enjoyed this experience.
Tawnya Kohrdt
Loved it!!
Harrison was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed hearing about historical Las Vegas as we walked through the vintage signs.
The museum has done a classy job of displaying lit and unlit signs mixed together, ground lighting also adds visual interest as it slowly changes through different colors.
Everyone was super nice, and the gift shop has quite a few interesting items to take home.
The boneyard isn't very large, but they have used the space well. We didn't do the Brilliant part of the tour, but I suspect it's worth it if you have the time. The regular tour took about an hour. If you aren't visiting in the hot part of summer, be sure to bring a light jacket as the desert gets cool at night.
There are only a few parking spaces at the museum, but the next lot over is free and large.
I highly recommend coming to see these incredible artistic & vintage pieces of Las Vegas history.
Emily M
The Neon Museum is FANTASTIC!!!
We came here for date night and did the Brilliance/Guided tour. So awesome! Worth the admission, for sure. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance. If you get there close to show time, I suggest parking in the Cashman lot (their main lot can get a little crowded).
Brilliance was a really neat idea (classic Vegas music and the show was projected on a separate part of the museum to bring the pieces back to life).
The tour was great, too. Just enough history and fun facts.
Make sure your battery if fully charged for all the pictures you're going to take. Save some $$ for the gift shop (awesome magnets, enamel pins and vintage style shirts).
So so so glad we came!!!!
Kevin Murphy
Cool museum. Small outdoor space, packed with fun signs. Some have been restored and are lit up. The visitor center and gift shop after inside a relocated morel lobby with a unique shell design. Price is a bit steep for the size. They don't allow cameras other than cell phones. The colors during the day are better in my opinion than going at night. They offer you an umbrella because it can get warm out there with no shade in the yard. There yes a covered stirring area with a few tables just off the back door. Enjoyable walk through on your own, even without the history component. About 30 minutes if you are on your own. Many opportunities for great pictures.
Keith Byrd
Very beautiful experience and great history of mid-century Americana!
T Gomez
We really enjoyed our guided tour and all the information our guide offered. It was a beautiful site to see with lots of photo opportunities. Dress warm in the winter!
Corey Edwards
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Sweeney. Super charismatic and full of information, he taught us about the history here in Las Vegas. Knowing the origin story made our visit to downtown much more interesting. This is a great place to visit. Do not miss it!
Elena Itchel
Museum is a big word for this place...
The price is very high and they only give you the tour. If you want photos to your instagram account, well, you have to rush, because there's no time for photos.
The tours are every 15 minutes, so, sometimes you're in your tour and the voices mixes, between the tours.
Buy your tickets on advance, because the tours are only for 20 people and it's sold out very quickly.
Noah Campos
It was a wonderful experience. Something different from the crowding of Las Vegas Casinos. We had an amazing tour guide and well informative. I would definitely recommend people to come and experience it at least once
Linda Calhoun
The bone yard tour was awesome, the guide was full of great info. Loved it. I liked the gift shop (hope i can shop online).
Lola Hall
My daughters and I went to the 11:00 PM guided boneyard tour. Late, I know for the girls to be out, but The Neon Museum's Security detail is on point. Parking is immediately to the north of The Neon Museum via a one way E McWilliams Avenue which is designated for museum visitors only. Once parked, simply check in with security in the Boneyard Park (where the sign and 2 Palm 🌴 are). The area in Boneyard Park is fenced off from the street and Security did a great job stopping folks to make sure they were supposed to be there or not.
COVID-19 state mandates are fully enforced, so bring mask and hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing.
When you go ask for Charlie. She has a passion for Vegas history and moved me from going through the motions of a standard tour to a fully immersed experience with the Rat Pack, Bugsy Siegel and Betty Willis. She takes her time and gives her tourists plenty of time to flash photos and selfies.
Pro tip: No video!! Also, go after sunset and after you go by the Chief Hotel Court, pull up Google Maps, pull up the map of your current location, switch to satellite terrain and zoom in to see a very cool Treasure Island Skull staring back at you from space!
Enjoy!
Jeffrey Akin
If you love the nostalgia surrounding old Las Vegas then this place is for you. Buy your tickets in advance. My only complaint is that it is a less than desirable part of town.
Vincent Sholl
The Neon Museum was great! It was a lot of fun to see the signs which are part of Vegas history. We took the guided tour and the extra few dollars was worth it.
Brenda Marshall
This was our second visit to the museum.. Both times we purchased the Glow Tour which includes a guided tour of the Boneyard and the Brilliant show. On my last visit I would've easily given it 5 stars. My second visit was much less enjoyable. The narration has changed. It now includes what our group felt was an abundance of politically correct propaganda. Also new this visit was about 15 mins standing next to a wall mural while a guide explained every image, of which there were many, prior to being led into the Brilliant show arena. Much of.the information was.duplicated as we had already heard it in the Boneyard tour. The Boneyard, the Brilliant show and the guides get 5 stars . The lower rating from me is a result of decisions made by the management. Too heavy of an emphasis on social politics and a lack of concern for the comfort of the visitor.
Jurassic_Jacob
A wonderful place to see signs of days gone by and learn some history of the signage in Las Vegas. I purchased a membership since I will soon be a Las Vegas resident but even just in my travels, the free admission with membership has been worth it.
Raelyne Moreno
Wear shoes to protect your feet as the light show we went to was in the dirt and there was bits of glass and such. Also purchase tickets in advance! The light show is very cool but there's also a guided tour. Very cool and there is a small parking lot but also a LOT of overflow parking so you're covered. Would recommend!
Jordan Bond
Really cool! The Tim Burton stuff was pretty neat but the old signs were fantastic. It was sad to think about the old places coming down but it’s nice to see their signs being preserved and accessible. Totally worth the price if admission.
Raymond
Great Tour. Tons of history!
ron zamott
Great loved it. Deffinetly a must see
Heather
What a wonderful piece of history! And the employees are so great, and excited to answer all kinds of questions.
We went to see the Brilliance show , which is NOT part of the boneyard tour like we thought it might be . Instead it is a section of unrestored signs where a lightshow is projected with Lazer lights onto the old signs set to music. It was great, even though we really wish we had gotten to see the rest of the boneyard as well. That's OK though.. we will just have to go and see that next time !
Rafael Buelna (Rafael)
My wife and I visited this museum on a recent visit to Las Vegas in late 2019. We had a great time exploring the museum and the old neon lights that they have available from old demolished or non existent hotels. From start to finish I can say it will take you about 30 minutes. Tim Burton also has some added extras that I am sure visitors will enjoy.
Kristy Broughton
It was really interesting, only thing I would have liked was to have more room for pictures.
The security for this place is no joke,
It was like going through the airport but I got to keep my shoes on. lol
Sara Parente
Really cool spot to learn and see the history of Vegas!
Tegan S
Very cool place to visit. Recommend you do the guided tour at night time to find out the history of the signs as well as Las Vegas
Carlos Garcia
The history is awesome. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable. Everybody I dealt with on my visit was highly professional and extremely courteous. I loved our tour and guide. I felt I got my money's worth and got plenty of amazing photos. Their selection of awesome nostalgic items in their gift shop made my wallet lighter, but my heart happier. Thanks Neon Museum for a great experience.
Daniel Stepel (The last Baby Boomer)
This place is both arts and history rolled into one. If you do not know anything about the history of Las Vegas do yourself a favor and read up before you come here. The admission is a bit high at 30 bucks, but if you are at all into this stuff it is well worth it.
Sandra Loo
We ordered tickets online which saved us $2 per ticket. Going in the daytime was less busy but super hot! They do provide umbrellas so make sure you grab one. It was really cool to see all the signs. Could have gone in the night time for the lights but then we won't be able to get these nice photos. Good experience! 👍 …
Mary
You feel honoured to see and feel the history of Vegas.
Diego Navarrete
In a city that reinvents itself every few years it is remarkable that this museum manages to capture the history that people often remember most: the glittering signs of Las Vegas' past.
