Reviews of The Mob Museum
T Bessard
Interesting museum. They have 3 floors of history and allow an interactive experience as well. Well done here. There are a lot of visitors so I would say go early in the week and early in the day. It was pretty packed but well planned and lots of great information. You can easily spend over 3 hours looking at the various exhibits.
We did the shooting experience that was cool. They have a nice gift shop as well.
Jennifer Gee
Very well done 👏 Very clean, extremely well ran, beautiful historic building. I loved the many levels of this museum with tons of interesting rooms full of info on the gangs, police, murders, prohibition, and even Vegas at that time. Beautiful displays, and the interactive court room was really cool. Be sure to visit the speak easy after. Do the police lineup photo at the beginning, it's not expensive to buy! The gift shop is awesome, I grabbed a few things before leaving. Very very well done.

This was a great experience! It’s fun for all ages which is nice. They even have a secret password for the day to enter in the underground bar the fun way through the back outside for the 21+ crowd. It’s packed full of history and every level has videos and interacting exhibits with cost a little more but so worth it. The best thing is once you get a general admissions ticket, you have access to the museum all day until they close. Absolutely recommend this as a must see in Vegas!
Krystal Powelson
Our sister-in-law came into town and are big fans of this kind of stuff. I am glad they wanted to go because I probably hadn’t. Now I want to bring other visitors. It is very well done, organized, laid out well and wasn’t busy. 4 adults and an 11 month old, went in the middle of the week. They have a snack bar area too, which was perfect because it took us just over 2 hours. Highly recommend sitting and watching the courtroom next to the snack bar and each video throughout.

This is totally up my alley I love mob movies and have read so much about them so being able to go to something like this was definitely on my bucket list! The courthouse, the hand written notes, photos ,stories and so on were just amazing! You have to sit in the electric chair and have someone pull the handle without them knowing it makes a noise and our group definitely had fun with that! Great time and they have a bar downstairs! So cool!
Jonathan Peyton
Really neat place! We spent about 3 hours here. They have the original Valentine's Day massacre brick wall - very cool. Lots of history to digest. We did the crime lab experience and my son did the firearms training experience - they were all good. We made reservations online and it was not that crowded. Very nice gift shop.
Adrianna Martinez
It was such a fun time! And I feel like I learned so many cool things! Definitely recommend! The speak easy is so cool and they have live jazz!! Plus your tickets last the whole day! Also if your a local you get a great discount!!
Patrice PT
The museum is full and rich with history regarding all types of mobs. You could spend 4 hours here if you're really into reading, participating and enjoying the information. We participated in the simulated police activity which was very good. It costs $16 extra dollars outside of the $30 general admission. They also had 2 other activities (forensic and distillery). Offer pics at the end that are costly.
Maria Scollo
I enjoyed visiting this museum very much, it was also a fun experience.
I felt I was going back in history. The best was taking a photo in the line up booth, my daughter and I couldn't stop laughing🤣looking at our pictures. So when in Las Vegas, if you get a chance, visit the Mob museum😀. There is also a starting and ending point of the tour, I was amazed how well it was coordinated. "Fuggedaboudit"

Great museum with lots of information you can learn about the mob in the US history. I was very surprised with the things that I learned during our visit. There are 3 floors to explore in the museum and a basement. In each level, there are information about different stages of the mob age. How it started, how it developed and how it ended. There are interactive videos you can play and listen. Bathrooms were very clean and the museum was well organized. We paid 30 each for general admission. I don't thing it is worth to pay extra for those extra exhibitions. You get to see the entire museum with general admission. If you pay the extra, you get to experience the criminal lab exhibition and one more exhibition about the production of liquor or something.

Visited in their first year of operation and again 10 years later. Many technical upgrades with more interactive display and additional exhibits. Overall look and feel of the museum is outstanding. Being in an original courthouse certainly contributes. Film about the hearings held in the very courtroom you sit in on the second floor is interesting and something I did not know. Favorite floor is that second floor where connection between mob and Vegas in the 70s is explored. Seeing pictures, history and artifacts from real life characters from movies such as Casino is a highlight. Gift Shop has a large variety of merchandise. Continue on after the gift shop to see actual items from The Godfather, The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire and Casino. All staff I interacted with were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. If driving be aware that parking in adjacent lot is $8.

Gorgeous old building with so much history & information! Spent almost 4 hours looking at everything, including having a shot of moonshine in the basement speakeasy. Didn't tour the distillery portion & wish we had of. Well worth the time & money spent! They also have a good discount for locals.
Chris Law
Very informative. Lots of content. Engaging. I'd recommend for anyone that live history and mob origins. Plan about 3-4 hours to take in the 3 floors and the Speakeasy.
There are 3 types of prices: general, good and great package. I'd go with the good as you can do some extra activities.
Amber Wrzesinski
If you have time it's worth the visit! Give yourself around 3 hours just to walk through it all. It closes at 9p so arrive before 6p. There are 3 floors and a speakeasy in the basement. If you're lucky you'll be there during a random "police raid" and see how it happened during prohibition. Go on a weekday for happy hour price tickets. Crime lab was a super fun interactive experience! The whole museum is a very cool experience and the staff were all ridiculously kind and helpful.
J C
Enjoyed the history and displays. It’s nice how they utilized the old post office building. They do have a bar and distillery in the basement. Even during the week it got a bit crowded, made me uncomfortable to sit and watch the videos they had playing in different areas. They do have a decent size parking lot which cost $8 when we went. They have a wheelchair elevator outside and a regular elevator inside as well.
A.J.
Very interesting museum in the downtown district. You will need a few hours to take in all the info but it is worth the visit. It is a very well done history of mob life in America. Also, don't forget to visit the speakeasy in the basement and enjoy a drink/snack.
Jennifer Smith
This was awesome! This museum exceeded expectations.
Also a “speakeasy” in the basement with drinks like "Rattlesnake" and my husband absolutely loved it.
We also added - DISTILLERY TOUR & TASTING - our favorite was the Cinn-City
Next we did the - FIREARM TRAINING SIMULATOR
My husband and I both became overwhelmed with all the information and reading after three hours. We definitely want to come back.
Mega Hobbs
Wow! So much incredible history! Make sure you plan on spending some time here (it took us over 4 hours, but we read literally everything). The extras are worth it as well. We added the distillery tour, if you go on a week day you actually get to see them in action as they run 5 days a week. Loved hanging out in the little pub with quaint silent movies & mob era decor as well as drinks & eats.
Alexey Gorbachev
I wouldn’t call it the ‘museum’ - more like the interactive exhibition about the history of Las Vegas and well-known basic facts about the gangs. It has three stores and a bar but lacks unique and authentic exhibits. Some data is outdated - the display about crime gangs in Russia is incorrect, they used data from the 90s, and the gangs they mentioned do not exist anymore. It's fun to stop for an hour, but I think even $20 is too much for the ticket, and I definitely wouldn’t pay more. On the positive side - the staff is very nice, the bar seemed authentic and the bathrooms are squeaky clean. The place has potential, but don't expect much from your visit.
Rafael Soares
One of the best museums in Las Vegas!
The building itself is already a great attraction since it was the location of one of fourteen national Kefauver Committee hearings.
The self guided audio tour is rich in details and provides a great experience.
Worth the visit, it is definitely on my top Vegas attractions.
J Pokakaa
Very interesting place. There are 3 floors and 3 activities. Give yourself a lot of time. There is a lot to read and mini movies throughout. I did not like the audio tour. I felt like I waisted my $8. I will go back a few more times as I felt like there is more to learn!
Kristen Runkle
We had our wedding in the courtroom. The All in Love package with 60 people. Everything was simply amazing. I’m sure James got sick of all my questions leading up to the wedding but he always answered them in a fun and positive way. I worry too much but he and the rest of the event planners took the worry away. They arranged all of the vendors and put me in touch with any that I wanted. They were so accommodating. It took so much stress out of planning. All of my guests had the best time! Perfect 1920s themed wedding. Thanks James and Christi!
Cindy H
Such an interesting piece of history! I thought I knew alot about the mob, but I was blown away by the massive amount I never knew. Historic post office/court house turned Mob Museum is a not to miss stop while in Vegas. Interactive portions, so many photos! I really enjoyed this!
Tim Frantz
I'm here for a party event and we walked the museum part for about 30 minutes. There's a lot to see! Next, we went in to the gift shop. It has a lot of unique gifts and t shirts. After that you drift down to the speakeasy bar. We had drinks and a live band! They served food - it was chicken and beef. The staff is very friendly. This would be a great company event. Down in the bar, it looks like the have a real still and may make their own moonshine.
Richard Miller
It is a very good tour. It is a self guided tour. They track the origins of the Mob and follow it through Vegas till today. It took me almost two hrs but I could have easily spent more time there. I spent an additional $8 for the audio turn. Highly recommend doing so.
Debby De Angelis
My husband has read almost every mob book and biography and loved this place. Strongly recommend the audio headset to go with the tour. Well worth the extra $8.
We easily did the tour in just over an hour. Plenty of places to sit, drinking fountains and bathrooms. Staff was all very helpful.
Yoshi Mirai
Do you wanna take a rest gambling at the casino and want something more cultural? Then come here to learn about the history of Las Vegas. It can be very graphical and cruel, so I would not recommend to bring small kids here. I learnt a lot about the story of Vegas and in that sense it was very cultural and educative. Go with a strong mind and stomach!
Kieran Fahey
Very cool museum with tons of information. I really enjoyed the chronological order and relevant details pertaining to Las Vegas.
My only complaint would be that too many people were crowding certain areas.
Be sure to check out the cool stuff in the basement too!
Snoopy Terrier
Very informative museum. I learned a lot about local history and how Las Vegas was a puzzle piece in organized crime in the United States.
The staff here is helpful and have a sense of humor. There are many different exhibits displayed in chronological order starting with the first Paiute settlers to the current century. I am impressed with some of the artifacts I saw here. The museum itself is also part of mob history.
Chad Walter
Cool idea and lots of detail, just longer than I expected. 3 floors worth, so if you're super into museums you will enjoy this. It was super crowded and very warm/stuffy when we were there. There was a nice discount for my gf working on her master's/student discount, like $13 off.
TDC
Cool place to learn about Vegas history and organized crime in general. Exhibits were well done….historically accurate and authentic. This place is big with multiple stories so you can spend a lot of time here learning a lot. Neat souvenirs. Great value and they offer a locals rate.
Pavel Kotyza
Really well organised museum about the mobster and mafia history of the United States of America. 3 floors full of detailed history + 1 cellar bar with a secret room and authentic atmosphere. Plenty of educational and entertaining details, audio guide available for a small fee and a lot of stuff to play with. I really enjoyed my time in the ob Museum and definitely visit it if you show up in Las Vegas. And if you want to save, buy GoCity card and enjoy it as the part of 3 dozens of attractions available on that card.
Narda Ybarra
My sisters and I were walking around Fremont Street and saw the museum. I had seen it online so we decided to go. We all thought it was very well laid out and very interesting. (They do give military and first responder discounts.)
Marcus S
One of favorite stops on my visit to Vegas. Seeing the history of the city and the stories of Bugsy, Capone and others was really interesting.
Enjoyed the electric chair replica, caught my father off guard when I pulled the switch...hilarious reaction.
3 stories with a speakeasy in basement, videos, photos, a gift shop and more. You can even have your mugshot taken. Spent roughly 2hrs here, and could have taken more time. Well worth the time.
Jake Goulas
If you're looking to learn about history and learn about how the Mob influenced Vegas, this is your spot. My family and I spent over 2 hours just going through the 3 main floors but easily could have spent many more hours.
Lora Heart
First time going to the Mob Museum as a Nevada resident. Paid 13 dollars for myself. If you are not a local the tickets are much pricier. Overall, the museum is unique and describes the history of the Mob in great detail. There were cool interactive details hidden around. Overall, I recommend coming here as a local but look for discounts!
Voluptuous Black Duchess Storyteller
This museum was fun and informative all at the same time! It takes you on an extensive history of the Mob, from past to present, and also has a display regarding depictions of the Mafia in film/TV. They also go into detail with the rise of the Mafia in Las Vegas itself. To make the experience even better, the day I went to the museum (May 8, 2022), they served free mimosas for Mother's Day! There's a speakeasy in the basement as well, in case you want to have a stronger drink.
I highly recommend going there, and I also recommend buying your tickets online (the "happy hour" tickets have a lower admission price). The price for parking is $8.00, but it's a flat rate. Check it out!
Nancy Cheung
Very well-done, beautiful exhibits. The bar is also very cool and has a great atmosphere. I'm not "a drinker" but the drink I got was delicious and not strong at all. We got 2 for 1 admission due to staying at the Downtown Grand. Very good deal!
Bonnie Merrick
We bought the tickets that included experiences, the moonshine tasting and the use of force simulator. The moonshine tasting took place in the distillery. Our guide was funny and informative. We tasted 3 different moonshines. My favorite was the ginger one. I recommend leaving some time to explore in between experiences. I booked ours 45 minutes apart. We kinda had to rush to get to the use of force experience. Only two people go through at a time. They were backed up a little because they were short a person. We waited about 30 minutes but it was worth it. I highly recommend it. We weren’t able to spend much time exploring the museum because we had to be somewhere. I would have liked to have had more time.
I found out later that The Mob Museum is housed in a former post office. I had wondered what the significance of the P.O. Boxes were, lol. They had nothing to do with the mob.
The parking lot next to the museum is small. We were lucky to get one of the two available parking spaces. It’s $8 for 4hours which is plenty of time to enjoy the museum.
Monica Flores-Grindstaff
Great experience! Recommend 10/10. A little bit of a crowd I guess depending what time of day you go. Moved around pretty quick though. 1st floor has a small store to buy souvenirs and they have cool stuff! If you are a student be sure you have your student ID to get a discount.
Amanda Barker
This was fun and so educational! My kids were pretty tired by this point in the vacation, but I think my teenagers would have gotten more into it on a different day. The younger two were bored 🤷 However, I learned a ton and couldn't stop reading about everything they had there. I'd go again on my own and take my time. Worth a trip!
Ru Be
What are unique experience! If you like interactive crime mob related experiences and things, this is the place! I was really not expecting the fact that you can be a crime lab analysis and analyze everything from bullets, fingerprints and Even autopsy analysis for three cases one of the cases is the true story of Joe pesci's character in casino him and his brother. That made the museum stand out amongst all others to me. I wish more museums would have something interactive like this unfortunately the mob museum is probably the only one of its kind! This is definitely history and it still is prevalent today whether people want to believe it or not the mob still exists just not like they did back in the early days of being so out in the open. I would definitely go back and do this again when I'm in Vegas next time.
GOVIND CHAUDHARY
The Museum is a nonprofit organization with a mission to advance the public understanding of organized crime’s history and impact on American society. The Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at these topics through hundreds of artifacts and immersive exhibits.
Kathy Starling
Totally worth the experience if you keep your eyes open to the fact that the story is being told to you by our government. While many items in the gift shop state there are 2 sides to every story, this museum will only give you one. However, that side is definitely worth hearing and learning about in a person's quest for truth and understanding of our nation's complicated history.
Link Lo
Really glad we made the time to check out the speak easy in the basement of the mob museum. On a Sunday night, they have live music and the atmosphere is perfect for chilling with friends. Cocktails like the bathtub gin fizz is tasty, and deviled eggs and the charcuterie board provided a great snack to soak up the alcohol. This place should not be missed if you are looking to get out of the strip, and you should.
Kourtney Brooks
I really enjoyed learning about how Mobs formed, information about the Mobs, and how some tied to Las Vegas. I did the Crime Lab and Firearm Training Simulator experiences. The ladies working the crime lab were super nice and informative but I found the quick 3 minute rotations inside the room to be somewhat boring. The Firearm Training Simulator was more fun to me. Unfortunately the man taking us through the experience was elderly and extremely hard to hear as you can hear others shooting loud weapons and their instructors hyping their group up but again extremely nice and informative. There is a LOT of information on each of their 3 floors of exhibits. I do not recommend bringing kids younger than 13 or ones who can't behave while walking through each floor, taking the time to read the small plaques. I love history but was more than ready to leave after 2 hours there. I can't reiterate enough that the staff there are absolutely amazing. Very informative museum. I do recommend coming here if you're a history fan.
Cree QTpie
The Mob Museum was fun and interactive and provided a lot of good historical information as well as some fun interactive activities that you pay extra for. We did the Crime lab and the Gun Training activities and both were fun and interesting. The Crime lab gives you a mobster fingerprint comparison to see who your fingerprints are similar to, and you can get your mugshot as well.
Ravioli 1999
Great experience, friendly staff, very informative and fun! There was an underground speak easy that was amazing! I had 2 tequilla drinks and it was really cool. They had real artifacts. Would recommend for family and good date idea as well!

Major Pro:
This was my last day in Vegas and my flight didn't leave until 9pm. I had two bags with me. I called the museum and asked if I could store them there while I was touring the museum . They didn't make me any promises, but,I was able to do so. I was also allowed to go and get a bite on Fremont Street , then come back and pick them up!
This was a fun time to be had! I choose the experience with 2 interactive activities: Crime Lab and Speakeasy/Distillery.
The Crime Lab was amazing, we analyzed our fingerprints, solved a murder case with a digital autopsy board and more. The Distillery experience was packed full of information and moonshine tasting!
The museum is designed to be toured from the third floor down. There are a lot of mini movies on screen. I watched them all. They last 3 minutes tops. So, don't overlook them!
I was on a solo trip and it took me about 3.5 hours to tour everything. This is including the 2 experiences. They last 30 minutes.
David Peck
What a fun place to visit. They have quite a few interesting exhibits to look at and a lot of interactive displays. It took us about three hours to your the place and we could have taken longer.
Dalal Marafie
The Mob museum is so interesting in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, USA 🇺🇸. The museum is about the history of crime 🔫 😂 and story telling of criminal and mob activities. It’s very cliche too At first it was nice and I enjoyed the action and the history. I enjoyed the court room the most.
But then I felt a little disappointed. It’s mainly about criminal and mafias and their stories. Most of the criminals are from Italian background. I think 🤔 it’s time for the museum to diversify!
I hope my review helped 🙏🏼
Mr.W
Great experience. We got a very intense history lesson on the mob. That was pretty cool.
Only downside was that it was crowded and people were just wandering around. There's definitely room for improvement
Nyor Mirror
I really wanted to enjoy it but some factors took it down a few stars.
It was very crowded. It has low light in some portions with lots of pictures and reading small descriptions of the pictures that are low on the wall. Some rude people hovered around exhibits causing bottle necks.
It was nice seen original items like Al Capone’s revolver and the St Valentine’s massacre wall. I would have like to see more videos and interactive presentations. I also understand that the museum is in a former court house.
We had the go pass that is turned into a armband that is good for the entire day with in and out privileges. They do have security and bags are checked. I don’t think any outside food or drink is allowed. Expect 2-3 hours total to get through all 3 floors of the museum.
I still recommend it but I would come just after open or before close for less crowds and to move through it more freely.
Angela Martinez
Awesome time if you want to do something different. Definitely recommend adding on the Firearm Training Simulator! It was so much fun and our instructor and actor were great!
Greg Zillgitt
I've always been interested in the mafia, and especially its impact on the cities where its influence was profound, like New York, Chicago and Las Vegas. Seeing many so many actual artifacts, and such as variety of them, was a treat. I was thrilled too see the actual wall from the St Valentine's Day Massacre.
M. B. (M.B.)
This is definitely a fun experience. The museum does a nice job of displays paired with informative videos. The courtroom is a cool part of the exhibit. We also bought the weapons training and distillery tasting. Recommend both. They were fun. We had some drinks in the speakeasy and a snack. Good job on this one Vegas.
April Balagna
Speakeasy in the basement is very cool; some drinks are served "with light reading" and the cocktail is hidden in the fake book. Distillery tour was cool, the samples are very strong, the guide was very knowledgeable, and the stories were interesting. Crime lab experience is great if you're a fan of crime shows.
RickyBrah719
Loved it. Took the moonshine tasting tour and the crime lab. Both were amazing. This place has a lot of information and history to go over so be prepared to spend some time here. Gift shop was amazing. This place deserves more credit than it does. It has to be a must stop for everyone who wants to learn about las vegas.
Henry Basta
This museum was awesome! The staff were incredibly knowledgable and friendly. My wife and I really appreciated both the history - and the speakeasy downstairs. The craftsmanship that went into the drinks were incredible. It was our favorite part of the trip. Thank you!
JD Deming
I’ve been to the museum in each of my trips to Vegas and it is always a fun look into history. Usually, I skip going down to the speak easy, but I’m glad I went on this trip. A very cozy place with a great whiskey list. You can even get a serve yourself card for sub ounce sampling!
Doctor Bryan Stoops
Are you kidding me? What a blast! My group made a critical mistake, and we only left three hours to explore the museum based on the time of our reservation. If you are interested in the history of organized crime in the U.S., and/or you're a fan of crime movies, you're going to want to take your sweet time going through the tree floors here.
We also did a distillery experience with Kris as our presenter; she was excellent, knowledgeable, and funny. The moonshine was delicious too. The speakeasy in the basement is great as well. I can't recommend The Mob Museum strongly enough if you're visiting Vegas
Stacie
We highly enjoyed the distillery tour and speakeasy. I wish there were more artifacts but the St. Valentine's Day Massacre wall was the best and very also very eerie. We did the middle of the road ticket that was $45 per ticket.
Daniel Cruz
A great place to go if you’re into museums. A lot of history jam packed into this place. You can probably spend hours here if you read every single thing written here.
Definitely try out one of the interactive exhibits they have. It gives a nice little inside look. We did the Crime Lab. Recommended for anyone who likes to take their time and wants to get an insight about this era.
Gladys Salcedo
Such a fun experience. Definitely recommend visiting and getting some beer the have on the second floor. The beer comes from local breweries and is so delicious.
Terry Wright
Great place see mobster history. This place is a 3 story building of information. There's even a Moon Shine tasting and a bar, all downstairs.
Kwanta Thansa
The Mob Museum is a national museum of organized crime and law enforcement. This mission of this nonprofit organization is to advance the public understanding of organized crime’s history and impact on American society. Do not miss a chance to visit this museum when you are in Las Vegas.
Adri B
A great way to spend an afternoon! There is so much content here to explore and learn about the origins of the Mob in America and it's continued influence in crime and popular culture. The building itself has a historical connection, as it used to be a court house and post office. The museum also offers 3 experiences, one of which is a distillery tour across from the speakeasy where you can same spirits while learning about prohibition.
John Abrahamson
Super impressive museum. Very thorough, great education on all things crime in our history. Absolutely great value and worth a visit.
Liz Kitura
Really interesting and interactive exhibits. I bought tickets in advance, but it wasn’t too busy at 230 on a Friday. Definitely check out the underground speakeasy, and if you ask nicely they might even show you the secret room.
Rebecca Campalans
My niece enjoyed who loves crime stuff. Staff friendly. Nice history and storytelling . Several you children while I was there ages 5-10 not sure if appropriate as lots of shooting ,murder images. Take advantage of Nevada resident or student discount !
Greg Rasmussen
The history lesson is worth the cost of admission. The moonshine-tasting experience is awesome. Leave yourself plenty of time there is a lot of stuff packed into this place. Cheap parking is available right next door to the museum.
Cheryl L
A really great museum with fantastic exhibits. Very informative and well put together. You have to take an elevator to the third floor and then wind your way down. Some multimedia exhibits, real items used by criminals, lots of old time Vegas memorabilia. The Valentine's Day massacre wall was very interesting. Lots of graphic photography of mob hits so, be warned.
Sandy Lee
Very nice museum with lots of exhibits that can keep you busy for several hours. Crime lab & Distillery tour/tasting experience is fun and informative.
A H
We enjoyed visiting the Mob Museum. There is a lot to see. Our visit lasted 3.5 hours, and that wasn't even counting the extra experiences. We highly recommend a visit to this museum.
Shelby Verciglio
My husband and I went to the Mob Museum on our vacation to Vegas and had a great time. Lots of great exhibits and interactive experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend doing the distillery tour!
Alex Barrus
Fantastically curated museum in downtown Las Vegas! If you’re into true crime: this is a must see spot!
Our party spent a full 4 hours and didn’t see everything they had to offer!
We also participated in the Armed Force Training and the Crime Lab experience and the employees were very informative, helpful, and funny! (To be fair, I would have been equally happy skipping the experiences and spending more time throughout the museum though.)
Can’t wait to come back and eat and drink at the charming speakeasy in the basement!
Lynn Burkhart
It was the most educational, unbelievably by far the best place I have ever been to in Las Vegas or any other state state, my son and daughter -in-law and I went together every single one of came out of there with excitement of the things we learned about prohibition and rumrunners, I would recommend everyone to go to it, caution there are some very graphic photos!! Unbelievable how people lived, and lived for others to die, to sit in a court room where actual trials took place, to step into a building that holds eminence history it is incredible!!! Go online and buy your tickets ahead of time it does save some money.

If you are ever in Las Vegas, this is a must see! This museum is AWESOME! There were some pictures I wanted to show but were too gruesome! Being "whacked or taken out" was not pretty.
Thomas P. Driscoll
We were there the 1st year they opened and then this year for the 10th anniversary. A ton of amazing history and exhibits topped off the amazing distillery tasting tour!

A very interesting place to visit with a lot of information about the mobs around the country and how it relates to the world in general. They have a lot of actual artifacts, photos, journals and video/film showings of the events. It could be an information overload but is interesting especially if you have seen documentaries about it just so you can relate to what you see and hear in what this museum offers. Some of the footage are very graphic as you would expect from mob activities so come and watch at your discretion. All the staff are very kind and very accomodating. The place is very well maintained. They also have a gift shop where you can get some souvenirs and other mob-inspired novelties. This is located in downtown Las Vegas and I wish they offer a free parking for paying customers and that should have added another ⭐😄.
Aimee Mertz
Great museum. Well worth the ticket price. Enjoyed the distillery tour and speak easy as well. Great way to spend the morning downtown.
Ciera
Expensive!!! But really neat. Been there 3 times. MAKE SURE YOURE PUNCTUAL FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE OR YOURE OUT THAT MONEY! PERIOD.
Many neat things. Awesome speakers come through. The speakeasy is really awesome. Crime lab was a little...less than i was hoping. But the tactical experience is a great experiment to be apart of. You learn a lot! And of course, who likes moonshine these days? No one. But still, the learning portion of the prohibition experience is really neat. This place is a Must See
Adam Colina
Been to Vegas many times and we always passed the mob museum but this time we used our Go city Pass and explore the Museum. It's all the history of the mobs and how it started and the graphics, arts, tools they used before as well as the killings. Experienced the live video were you are inside the court room and see what happened during that time. Its 3 storey museum with a basement were every level y'all see the history from the mob, gas chamber, killings, most wanted, electric chair and how vegas started. A lot of learnings, names and items to see. We're amazed of it! Used the hop on and off bus and it will drop you right in front of the mob museum. Must see!
Tina Affum
We had so much fun ought to be against the law! I'm from Cleveland so it was crazy to find out how Connected the Mob was in my city. We did all kinds reenactments, creating crazy videos (Instagram @browngirlstravellive). If you like sweet drinks that'll sneak up on you, I highly recommend the Bathtub fizz.
Jeanne
If you like history and the mob, this is the place to be!! Tickets were worth it. There were 3 floors and a short film inside an official courtroom during those times! Don't forget the speak easy in the basement ;)
Rocco
Was interesting and very informative..lots of artifacts and images. You can spend hours in here if your just taking your time walking around and watching videos. If your into history it's a very cool place to come and check out
keanu Souza-Koprowski
Wow they really did an amazing job updating it we went 10 years ago. We went for our homeschool learning excursion we had a great time learned alot everyone so friendly parking easy worth $8 we had ample time to museum and walk feemont
Vivian Pitts
Awesome time!
I definitely learned some new things.
I went in a group of 5 (all adults).
There were kids of all ages there.
They have some interactive exhibits too.
There are 3 floors of exhibits. We took the stairs but elevators are available so it's definitely handicap accessible.
Priced reasonably but I used groupon to get extra savings!
This is off the strip, so we took an Uber.
Wendy Giddens (Wendy Giddens)
Excellent source of information about organized crime. The exhibits are set up really well in showing the history, growth, and persecution of organized crime leaders. This place is amazing!

The Mob Museum was good, but I had hoped for better! I'm glad we got General Admission tickets and not upgraded ones that allow for interactive experiences, which I almost did. We visited on my boyfriend's birthday as we both love Mob and Vegas history, so I purchased tickets online since it's advertised that they're more expensive at the door...that wasn't true, same price at the door and you have to pay an additional $8 for parking. Also, when buying tickets online, you have to select a time...but at the door they'll let anyone in with tickets (we got in a half hour before our ticket time and it was PACKED on a Friday at 1:30 p.m.). The volume of people detracts from the experience since it's awkward to stand and read everything shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers. The Mob Museum had some great elements, but the information was disjointed to me and I honestly didn't leave feeling like I learned anything. Just when you would read about a topic you're interested in, such as skimming schemes in known Vegas hotels (Stardust, Flamingo, etc.) that would be the end of it until maybe repetitive information is brought up in a later exhibit. John F. Kennedy and his family were barely referenced (which may be intentional?), and there was almost nothing about Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. The majority of person-specific information seemed to be about Al Capone, which was great, but less relevant to Las Vegas. There was a ton of information about Prohibition and Capone's era of The Mob. The speakeasy was pretty cool - not a secret at all, but would be fun for a drink. Overall, I'm glad we checked it off the list, but I don't highly recommend it.
Michelle Dixon
This was a lot of fun. Their staff set up a scavenger hunt for our group. We also did moonshine tasting in the basement. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely bring friends to enjoy this tour.
Esther Penaloza
Very friendly staff, if you have the Go Pass just go to the ticket box and let them know. They’ll get you your tickets and right into the exhibits.
The court house exhibit is my personal favorite, takes you back in time through all the trials that actually took place in that room.
KEVLAR PRODUCTIONZ
An interesting museum, full of facts and genuine gangster memorabilia. A must go to if in the fremont area....highly recommend!
Ednalyna Martin
Great experience. There are a lot of artifacts, facts, and videos to see. I recommend you take your time at this museum. I actually took my 8 and 10 year old who both appreciated (and had lots and lots of questions about) the history here.
James Barron
It was very interesting and interactive, we did the forensics lab additional class and it was really fun, they had bullet analysis, fingerprint analysis, DNA comparison, and a homicide autopsy interactive exhibits. Lots of movies and cool stuff in the museum in general. Totally worth it.
Eddie Tajima
My friend decided to have her birthday here - ending the night at the Speakeasy, of course! 🍸 We didn't get a chance to look around the museum because we had two "experiences" scheduled at specific times.
We did the Firearm Training Simulator and the Crime Lab which were both fun and informative. Both gentlemen who hosted/guided the experiences were fantastic. But the Speakeasy (for us) is what we were looking forward to.
Going back to the beginning for a minute. The building itself is a restored US Post Office from the 1930s so it has a legit historical feel to it. This ambience carries into the Speakeasy which can be accessed from inside the museum. If you're more adventurous, you can exit the museum and walk around to the building's east side where you'll see steps leading down to the basement. But you better know the password or you won't get in!
The Speakeasy had a fun vibe - dim lighting, great decor, good crowd. There's a little secret room down here too so try to book it if you're with a group of friends! We had a great time at this little gem!
Tim Romero
We had a great time visiting the museum during the 10th Anniversary celebration. The volunteers and staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. This is a must see place when in Las Vegas and the only time Fuggedaboutit must never apply!
Rory Prodoehl
Interesting and fun place. Historical building with the Mob Museum inside. Highly recommend the distillery add-on.
Parker Kingsford
By far one of the best museums I've ever been to. Well documented and presented, even my wife became incredibly interested. Took us about 2.5hrs to go through. Customer service was top notch. Parking next door was convient and only $7.
Candace Holmes
Very interesting and worth the money. We went at 5pm which is considered happy hour and saved us $20. The speak easy had the best hot tea (I do not drink alcohol). Very educational and fun.
Anthony Steele
This muesem was very well done ans worth a trip. Lots of cool exhibits and learning opportunities. The electric chair was cool. Got to flip the switch and have the lights flicker a little in that exhibit. Its very interesting to see the history of the mob and how it impacted early las vegas and other parts of the country
Anna Behring
Look up the packages in advance! When we got there it was on a whim and the lady at the ticketing booth didn’t really seem like she even wanted to be there. We asked about the packages and she just showed us the flyer with no explanation. If you want to read everything and are ok with waiting for people to finish then great! If you want to get all of the info, but don’t want to have to try and read through people then do the audio tour! Don’t forget to stop by the basement for a drink before leaving!!!
Jeffrey W
I really enjoyed the visit to the mob museum. Very interesting and informative. I did the regular admission would highly recommend it.
Jae Forsythe McCabe
Plan to stay awhile and wear your walking shoes. The price of admission is in line with other exhibits here in Vegas but for being a 501c3 it's steep. I enjoyed seeing all the tangible artifacts they have on display.
Rae Zachary
So much fun! I learned alot about the history of Vegas and the different eras of the criminal element that really built Vegas. It was fun playing criminaligist during the Crime Lab experience, and doing moonshine tastings in the Distillery experience.
If you are a history buff, check it out!
Chipper Whatcott
The Mob Museum is sure to teach you a lot about mobs. They definitely fulfill that mission.
The price for admission is kinda steep ($30 for a general admission ticket). Personally, I don’t think it was “worth it” at that price. $15 seems more reasonable considering you don’t have a tour guide, and any documentary on mobs would likely provide just as much education.
They do have a lot of artifacts, which are cool.
Education: 5 stars
Experience: 3 stars
Price: 2 stars

Admission price was very reasonable. Parking was $7.00 for four hours. My favorite exhibit was the Saint Valentines Day Massacre Wall it brought a few tears to my eyes. The museum is a three story building with lots to see and lots to read about famous gangsters during prohibition times. There is also a little cafe where you can purchase coffee, and baked goods and a Speakeasy in the basement, they serve some good drinks!
Jaime's Palette
Great Museum! Three floors packed full of interactive displays and entertainment. This is a must see in Vegas!
Jamie B
Even if you aren’t interested in the mob, this place has all kinds of cool displays about crime, like a real electric chair, a forensics lab experience, and a firearms training simulator. Plus, there’s a distillery tour and real bar “speakeasy” downstairs! It’s awesome! (And definitely a great way to beat the heat.)
Dean Mauldin
It was an amazing place. So much history but presented in a fun and interesting way. We went twice. There is also a speakeasy in the basement that is a lot of fun. Alcoholic drinks and food. If they're like an early speakeasy. You have to have a code word to get into the door. It's pretty cool
Midwest Cat
The Mob Museum is a cool way to spend an 1hour 30mins. Very nice staff (except for the female parking attendant. She was a little curt with us). Lots of interesting information about mob history in America. Buy your ticketa online to save some money. One suggestion I have would be have guides in each area to give you background about some of the exhibits.
Cheryl P
This is a terrific experience. The exhibits are so informative. Test your forensic skills in the Crime Lab. Enjoy some moonshine in the distillery and a fine beverage in the Speakeasy. We spent hours here. Even the security staff was excellent. They found our lost car keys.
Scott Magerfleisch
Wonderfully engaging staff and bartenders. Starting talking about bourbon and shared several "tasters." Such a great time.
Sarah Gutierrez
My husband is in love with the 20s Era and the history of crime and gangs. I share his love and also am crazy about Forensic Science. We had a blast here. We enjoyed every floor of the museum and loved the Underground Prohibition Bar in the basement. The gift shop was also so much fun! Probably one of the best museums we've been to. The staff was super nice and helpful and the interactive experience we had was amazing. We're planning to come back and visit whenever we hit Vegas again!
Dave Mariani
The shooting simulator was great. If you have the extra cash. Otherwise the museum itself is great and worth the money.
Chris Constantine
I was surprised at how many interesting exhibits there are. I had avoided this museum because I assumed it glorified the mob, like some people do. Instead there is solid information of all types of organized crime through the past century. The displays are colorful and creative, and the pathways keep everyone organized. It could be a crime to miss this museum, especially if you can get the deal we got for $8.50.
Thomas Gaetano
Great. The audio tour is well worth it
Distillery/speakeasy tour great too
Had drinks and lunch after great price and quality
Rob Caffrey
Very interesting museum of the history of the mob in America. Has some very cool artifacts on display as well. Also very cool prohibition era bar down in the basement.
Jeniss Tejada
Super cool museum, and so much history all in one building. This is definitely a must stop and see if you visit Vegas.
Princeton S.
Such a fun place! I’d highly recommend the speakeasy in the basement. Lovely staff and great vibes. Felt like I was in the roaring 20’s
Gustavo Bermeo
Visited the Speakeasy at the Mob museum. Great atmosphere and service. The cocktails are above average and the prices are very reasonable. A must visit when visiting Las Vegas. It's within walking distance of Freemont Street.
Don't forget the password to get into the Speakeasy, otherwise you won't get it!
James Dickerson
We booked this place for our 25th Wedding Aniversary. It was fabulous!!!! Sabine and her staff took great care of us and were very helpful with the coordination. We were a party of 40 coming mainly from Germany but also the continental US. EVERYONE was impressed and we received many positive compliments from our guests...
Thanks again,
J&V
P.S. we will be back for our 50th
Alisha Schultz
This place was really neat!! I would have enjoyed more interactive stuff and more artifacts. It truly was an amazing experience especially the bar downstairs the food they have was delicious and the drinks were very unique and tasty. The security guard even gave us a special tour of the secret room behind the picture!!! Thank you all
Makenzie Callahan
4 stars due to price. We loved this museum. We felt like it had a lot of great information. For $30 general admission per person, we felt like there should have been a greater emphasis on exhibits, etc. there were some cool artifacts and we know they may be hard to find and display/expensive; however, we felt like we paid $30 just to read writing on the walls. We would definitely come again, though. The gift shop was great and we would recommend to a friend. Just can’t justify the $30 ticket when there’s so much to do and see in Vegas. We know it all comes with a price! Very historic and cool info. Super SUPER crowded in most rooms on a Saturday around 3 pm. Not a nice area around the museum so we came and left right after. Kinda a haul.
Samantha Hyde
We were there for about two hours. It was crowded and difficult to stop and read everything, but overall an enjoyable and educational experience.
Vallerie Thomas King
The mob museum was amazing. Didn't think I would have a good time bit it definitely held my interest. Didn't think I would enjoy it but I did. Lots of horror and history combined into one. To Actually see the actual photos of they're death and to seebthe stories was surreal. If you are every in Vegas check out the Mob Museum located on Freemont. You will not be disappointed. Lots of history
Brian Sarcinelli
Booked "happy hour" tickets in advance. Much more than I expected. If you are at all interested in Vegas history and/or the mob, this is a must see. Added bonus being the location of the actual Vegas Kefauver Hearings.
Rene Ray
Amazing museum! Many great exhibits, documentaries, artifacts etc. A must see if you are in Las Vegas!
John M. Oyerbides
Lots of history and some really interesting stories. Definitely plan a couple hours. We found plenty of shot movies that just kept everything continually interesting.
Dennis McKillip
Great drinks and atmosphere. Had a lovely time here. Went through the "secret" entrance and got seats at the bar... Gerry our bartender was great. Made a custom "Maple smoked old fashioned" which is not on the menu - but should be- it was amazingly good! It was like watching a show with the different drinks being made right in front of you. The atmosphere is dark wood and various memorabilia from the prohibition era which all fits this lovely speakeasy. If you want snacks or dessert, they are available as well. Highly recommended!
Sean Abel
Some cool Vegas history and how the mob made Millions using Casinos as a front to laundry money. It was a neat place with a moonshine bar in the cellar. A lot of the pictures were reused for the small infomercial type segments they had in each room. A 5 minute show on the court room or jury selection. I spent about an hour total and didn't drink anything. Eventually Walked on down to the strip area.
Chris B.
Absolutely enjoyable time. This museum is for anyone who is a history conisseuar or wants to skim through to just get a taste. The Underground was definitely a place to stop on the way out if you like to experience the history in a more adult fashion.
patricia haskins
Awesome curating!! A variety of interesting exhibit presentations! Worth the time! Neat Speakeasy for the full experience! Friendly staff. Well organized and efficient!
Süleyman Anıl
Very nice museum where the history of mob and Las Vegas linked and explained. Nice short movies. 31 dollars is a bit too much though. The story of the commision could be better.
laura m
I love this museum and have now been here several times over the years. Always been intrigued by the US mob, and this museum respectfully explores the legends and truths behind some of its bigger players. This is a proper museum, there is no glorification or sensationalism, instead it shows how it all began and where it went - warts and all. The interactive elements are to a really high standard and the museum staff are truly passionate about what they do and are happy to help with any history or general questions you may have. There is even a speakeasy on the bottom floor that is a lot of fun!
Monique Jones
This place is amazing. We were in there for hours, I don't know how but we didn't see everything. We can't wait until our friends come into town so we can take them . I took almost 200 photos only posted a random few. It's something you absolutely need to see in person
Martin Ong
I had a great time visiting! Made me watch the movie "Casino" afterwards. Overall if you have interest in organize crime history and Las Vegas history - definitely worth it to check out!
MARVIN Sanchez
Cool Place to come learn about the Mob!
Buy your tickets online for $29.99.
Take a tour with lots of independent rooms that seperate the different crime sindicates.
They Have a hidden bar called the speak easy.
Jerry Bond
Great place. We spent about two hours walking around and looking at everything.
Von Goejr
Glad that my wife decided that I should go. Really enjoyed this museum.
Buggles Nort
$29.95 for admission. $7 to park for four hours. And it was money well spent, I truly enjoyed the museum. It had exhibits on various criminal organizations such as the Italian mafia, the Medellín cartel run by Pablo Escobar, the cartels operating in Mexico, as well as the history of various criminal organizations and how they've progressed throughout the years. It also exhibited the techniques employed by law enforcement agencies across the country to catch the criminal organizations. A very interesting museum and it has a 1920's style speakeasy in the basement with a distillery. Highly recommend!
Steve Davis
The Mob Museum is a must place to go. You get to shoot fake guns and are put into a situation were you have to maybe shoot someone who might have a gun. It was very very fun.
TJJ
This museum is entertain and worth a visit, but it's not exceptional. This museum provides an interesting look at the mob and its presence in Las Vegas. I think I was expecting more Vegas history than it provides. The layout covers three floors. There is a nice blend of reading and video engagement. We found the staff to be helpful. Again, it is a nice museum but I would not rush to return. And at nearly $30 per person plus extra for supplemental features, it's a bit spendy. We understand there is a nice speakeasy in the basement too.
Joe Miklovic
Nicely done museum. Went on December 30th and the place was extremely crowded, but outside of that I highly recommend visiting. Lots of good video exhibits. I like the second floor of the best because it had a lot of Las Vegas history which was really cool. Distillery tour was fun, they have a speakeasy in the basement which is worth checking out if you want to have some cocktails. Parking lot fills up kind of quickly. Even with prepaid tickets, still had to wait online about 10 minutes to get our wristbands.
Jim Zalzalah
Outstanding love all the new upgrades! Must see in LV! We did a private tour and it was the best. Learned so more every time we go.
Matthew Hiers
Had a great time, took the distillery tour, took home some GingerJake moonshine, meatballs were tasty af. Definitely going back, didn't give ourselves enough time to see it all. Cool souvenirs.
Melody Ledesma Zoller
Really amazing and interesting museum. We truly enjoyed our visit there today.
Ziggaby
This one really impressed me. It may be the best museum I've visited. I haven't been to every great museum in the USA, but I try to see at least one big-name museum wherever I go.
This one's so dense with information that the 3 floors can be overwhelming if you're trying to move quick. It does a great job of tying everything into a chronological explanation that combines the general mob history with the history of Las Vegas.
Ray Bridges
I like history and this fit the bill. Lots of information well presented. I recommend this to any one interested in true crime.
D S
a nifty place
quite a bit of old Vegas history on the walls.
the gun course is cool. myself and my partner passed with flying colors
my daughter and her partner failed 😆
the speakeasy was tiny but the bartender knew his stuff
the tasting room, offered thimble sized shots of hooch (tasted all the same to me) but they ranged from 90 to 150 proof
*tip
do the gun room before drinking
Tracy Boxeth
This place is amazing. Great exhibits, we added the Crime Lab experience too and found the Underground bar. It's on my list to go to again on my next visit to Las Vegas. All staff were fun and informative. It's a can't miss attraction!
Kaylie Nelson
Google says you will spend an average of 2 hours here. We spend 2 hours on the first 2 floors alone. You could easily spend 4 to 5 hours here especially If you include the experiences. There is a lot of information to learn and over all was a really cool experience. And we found a few cute photo opportunities.
Rupert K
This museum is absolutely amazing. It shows the history of the mafia especially there history in Vegas. My favorite part was a cop simulation, that was amazing.
Sarah Trumpe
There was tons to see and a lot of information. I highly recommend and would return
Glen Stone
Much more than I expected!
Detailed and fascinating look into the traditional Mafia and its deep impact on America, particularly Vegas.
Highlights include the actual brick wall from the notorious Valentine's Day Massacre, the actual hearing room and furniture where Congressional hearings exposed the Mafia, the real guns and equipment used by infamous gangsters and famous lawmen, a wide variety of interactive media, and information extending right up to modern day drug cartels.
Worth a good couple of hours but it would take half a day to see everything. Best time to go is Sunday evening when tickets are discounted and crowds are small.
Oh, and when you're finished, go for a drink in the "hidden" speakeasy in the basement!
jb mmm
When you get more then you expect. That let's you know that these people know what they are doing. Aatonne was awesome, and knew his stuff. I've always been into mob history. The exhibits, really took it to the next level. Al Capones gun in the picture.
Paul Dominic Galang
Great museum if you're interested to learn about mobsters, the mafia and how it started. Including the law enforcement groups that are involved in handling these groups.
Cyle Kenney
Pretty great experience all around. My question is, if the Mob museum has all the bricks to the St. Valentines day massacre strategically reconstructed to the T, then how does the haunted museum have one of the bricks in the Capone room with blood markings? Just curious. Fantastic place to learn about the history.
Luis Martinez1977
Great place to visit fun to explore the underground Mobs History.
Joyce Chen
I don’t know why but I planned three museums on the last day of my Las Vegas trip, and I didn’t drive on that day… So I didn’t finished this museum because I tried to get to the next one before it closed, but I didn’t make it either.
Although I didn’t finish it, I had to say this museum was cool. On the top floor you could learn about the origins of the mob, and then go downstairs for the more recent history. It would be better to go early in the day. I got there in the afternoon and it was pretty packed already. And be prepared to spend a few hours in it. There were lots of stories, videos and exhibits. Very informative.
Josh C
Very fun. Very educational. Lots of artifacts. The museum covers the history of Las Vegas, the rise and fall of the Mob from a national level, and how it affected Vegas. We spent 4 hours and were maybe 2/3 of the way done (that was with reading everything). We also did the firearms training which is like a police simulator.
Melanie Sumner
We didn't go into the Museum. Have visited it twice before. Did go to the gift shop and the speak easy below the Museum. The gift shop is so uninteresting. I could even say boring and empty compared to the past visits. Sad We wanted to pick up some Christmas gifts. The speak easy was fun, but a one time visit. Paid $15 for a mixed drink that was less than a double shot in size. The cheese and meat snack plate was very good. The 2 of us considered it a light dinner. New to us from our last visit. Paid parking. Vegas is loosing its hospitality. We passed up several shopping locations on Main and surrounding area. Due to we got tired of paying for parking and despise the multiple Apps to down load to park.
Vero
Set aside 2 hours to go through this 3 story museum. If you are interested in the mob history and ties to the old Las Vegas strip. This is the place to be, there's also a speakeasy which is probably the highlight my my trip to this museum. This was definitely WORTH checking out and not too far from the Fremont street experience. I want to go back since I didn't have enough time to walk through and see all of the fascinating things here and it would be really cool to go to the underground bar again! 5 stars for sure! Great experience.
Stephen Beers
The exhibit/museum is very nicely laid out. They have a lot of information and the fact that the location itself is part of the story being told makes for a great or authentic experience. Take the time to walk around and listen to the stories and read the “writing on the wall”. I think the Google estimate of 3-4 hours is a little high but plan on 2 hours for sure to get anything out of it. The price is spot on. You definitely get what you pay for.
Peter Lockhart
We toured the museum in 2019 and it was great. We came back this year just to go to the speakeasy again. Loved the atmosphere and live music.
Veronica Gonzales
This place is so much fun!! So much history on Las Vegas and the mobsters that built it. A must see when in Vegas!!
James Rogers
Great experience. Loved the tour and the prohibition exhibit and the interactive tasting. Plus we also did the gun training. Really opened my eyes up to what a police officer has to deal with. Totally awesome experience.
Jim Wilson
A must for all. Very easy to get to as the big bus tour stops right outside. We done the main museum plus the the three extras. The distillery experience was fantastic. The crime lab was also worth a look at as it let us interact with the equipment.
Ashleigh Lennon
Brilliant!
We went here for it opening (Thursday morning) so it was quiet and allowed us to really take everything in.
Fantastic history around the Mob, not just relating to Las Vegas which was great because it really showed just how big and powerful each mob become in the cities they held.
The staff are fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Great access for anyone with mobility struggles, pushchairs etc.
There is a LOT to take in, lots of reading and a good amount of visual items, so possibly a little restricting for anyone with sight struggles, as the audio side could be enhanced maybe with a walk through (Possibly available but didn't see anything to say it was)
You've got a little shop half way through, so great for picking up a drink and then a nice sized gift shop at the end. Standard prices in museums so no shock there.
Good amount of toilets, again setup for easy access for wheelchairs and family changing rooms for babies.
Would 100% go back, as we feel we missed a few reading points (jetlag had started to kick in) and would likely upgrade the tickets from the basic to full to enjoy the added viewing experience.
Robert Dechenne
Fun experience with 4 floors of exhibits and a bar/distillery experience. Building has an outdoor lift for handicapped entry and has 2 elevators to make the entire museum accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The extra cost experiences ( crime lab , distillery and weapons training) make your experience personalized to your experience.
Jaime Schaffer-Harless
Loved the experience! The staff was very friendly and informative. The law enforcement simulation experience was fantastic! Take the time to go down to the basement to the distillery and speak easy. Service there is fantastic. The pineapple moonshine was fantastic.
Nick Engel
Attended a wedding at the Mob Museum this past weekend and it was awesome! Totally unique and fun venue for a wedding! We had a break between ceremony and reception to stroll through the museum. So much information and really interesting experience!! I would also totally recommend just a visit to the museum if in the area!
Blake Bellamy
Went while visiting Fremont and enjoyed it. Was an interesting trip as the power went out mid distillery tour. They kept the show rolling and even had a drink in the speakeasy while the lights were out. Kind of added some ambiance. Sadly the power never came back on and we missed most of the interactions. Wasn't able to get a souvenir or tshirt as the system was down.
Empress De Alkebulan
Interesting museum! I learned quite a bit at the mob museum in Vegas! There is also a speak easy after you are done touring the museum. Great entertainment! Awesome atmosphere! Note to out of state visitors, you will have to pay full admission price. Nevada residents get half off on admission.
Kellie Kahmar
Great museum!!!! Very informative and really shows you the history of the Mob and Vegas. Definitely recommend doing the distilled experience. The lady was a great guide....and the moonshine tasting was the highlight of the experience
Ely Moreno
Definitely a place to go when visiting. Staff was very nice!
Anthony W Jackson
This place is Awesome. The interactive activities that we participated in were very moving. The interactive firearm simulation was really for real. The contact with the suspect made you really think. The use of the side arms that they have, CO2 powered, which feels like a real handgun. So much history is in that museum. I enjoyed it all. Including the actual wall of the Valentine's Day massacre.
Chris Marvel
Took over an hour to go through the 3 floors. Much more detailed than I thought it would be. If you like true crime and history it's a must see. My teen age son loved it. Little expensive but that's because they had lots of staff and cool artifacts.
Melissa McCue
Informative and engaging, but very crowded. I've never been to a museum that's as crowded as this one, especially on the top floor. It feels like the video exhibits should be spaced further apart to prevent bottle necks, there are so many people waiting to see them and to read plaques, that it really takes away from the experience, and almost encourages skipping a lot of information just to get away from the crowds. It seems like more of the exhibits could be spread out along the halls of the second floor to create a better flow. The add-ons are great, I did the distillery tour and that was really well done and informative. My 16 year- old daughter did the crime lab tour, which she mostly liked, except that they group people together to solve those, and she was pushed aside on several of the activities where other people took over.
Daniel Burky
Highly recommend if you enjoy the gangster era. Unreal exhibits and actual artifacts on display from that period. Admission price worth the visit. Go at your own pace walking tour. 4 stories. Took us 4 hours to see it all.
Katy Peace
We decided to visit the mob museum based on our Lyft driver recommending it on our ride in from the airport. So glad we went! I’m sure we’ll go back again next time we’re in Vegas. The exhibits are laid out well with videos and interactive elements mixed in. The crime lab experience was neat and the distillery tour was a good time. Don’t miss the speakeasy! It’s actually a great little place to have old times cocktails a tasty lunch (not greasy bar food). We left the museum ready to go re-watch all our favorite mob movies and then some.
Mary
A lot of great information. You won’t miss out on anything!
Ga Co
Very interesting, 3 levels of knowledge about the mob and it's history. Factinating and fun. Would recommend 10/10. There's also a down stairs speak easy! Great drinks and food

What an enlightening experience for the whole family to enjoy! We had an AWESOME time!!!

The Mob Museum is a place to visit that’s situated in down town Las Vegas (be mindful parking is $8). The museum does a good job of outlining the history of the Mob and it’s impact on Las Vegas.
Our favorite activities included the videos shown throughout the exhibit. They did a great job summarizing / roleplaying pivotal events in the Mafia’s history.
Reserve around an hour and a half to two hours to view all the Museum has to offer!
Sharon Rumley
A wonderful collection of the rise and fall of organized crime. There are 3 floors of exhibits and a speakeasy in the basement with additional information. The exhibits were a nice mix of videos, wall displays and artifacts. If you find this type interesting a definite must see.
Dan Twing
Has been on our list for many years. Finally prioritized it this visit. Very well done. Well worth the cost. Good chance to see Freemont street too as this is in old Las Vegas. As good as the displays, layout and flow where, the most outstanding thing was the employees. Whoever manages this place has set a great culture and has good hiring/training. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
Bryan Countryman
An interesting way to to understand a darker part of American history. It’s neat that some of the events of history took place in a actual courtroom that you’re sitting in.
Cristina
Located in downtown, it just looks like a normal building from the outside. When you walk in, right away you are in aw with the decor and architecture of the place. They do have someone giving wellness checks to ensure you are symptom free and they take your temperature to make sure you are safe to be inside their exhibits. There are 3 stories of amazing items from the mob days and historic Vegas culture as well. On the third floor, you can have your picture taken professionally, on the second floor there is a snack shop and a court room to watch a short film, on the first floor they have a gift shop, crime and police lab and the best part is the speakeasy on the basement level! Plan on spending a couple hours here to check out all the cool rooms they have.
kuchifrito
I love the history of the mafia and so this museum was absolutely awesome. The gift shop was ok at best, could have been better, but the museum was a 5 stars. Definitely should visit.
heather hartwick
The exhibits felt more like a history of Las Vegas than the Mob. I wanted to go there to learn something new, but most of the information is pretty much public knowledge. Great experience if you do not know much about the Mob, but if you've watched any documentary on them, you probably won't learn anything new.
Scott Looney
As a bit of a history buff I enjoyed this place. It was our first trip to LV so this is the sort of thing you want to do.
Debbie Schaffer
Great place to learn about many of the histories of Las Vegas. The cost of $29 was too expensive, but we went in anyway. Having to pay an additional $8 to park was awful. The information at the museum, the guides and the set up was well organized. It economical for a family of four.
Selina Delci
I went around 12 pm. Had to park a little eats away. The museum was packed not too bad. I would recommend, getting the audio . The moon shine tasting was a blast.. Forensic lab was so much fun!!
We took our time. We left about 4-5
It soon got really really busy .
Mark Steele
Really well done museum is heart of downtown. Having grown up in Las Vegas, I enjoyed the Vegas memorabilia and history.
The staff at front was beyond organized and accommodating. They even allowed me to use restroom while I was waiting in line.
The museum has interactive stories, memorabilia and videos around every corner. Even a piece of the wall from the Valentine's day massacre.
Best parts: Now has a speakeasy bar with brewery in basement and admits locals for free on Valentines.
Well done to the team. Will be back (maybe next Valentines)
Nasser Salomon
Historic place to visit in LV to see how the city and shows all started.
Michelle McKey
Wow; what a great experience that takes you back in time & makes u re- live the beginnings of the Mob/ Mafia in the US. We took an Uber here from the strip. So much easier to do it that way. It's also walking distance from the Fremont experience. Well worth the price. I highly recommend it.
Mike X
Bring your headphones if you want to do the audioguide. It's not super necessary in my opinion as the exhibits have a lot of audio and video aspects but does add some good color to the exhibits. 1 hour if you skim exhibits or 2 hours if you watch all the videos and interact with touchscreens.
Toni Campbell
A visit MUST! When in Vegas come on by.
A True Historic Gem. Many Names You may have heard of. No matter what The Subjects of these matters where diligent to their duties.
Believe it or Not Pretty much every state had a representative on the roles.
Go see for yourself.
You will Thank Me for the tip!
Joel Black
So disappointed in our experience. We visited after many many recommendations. The museum has a lot of great exhibits and artifacts and is in a wonderful building. The problem is how it was being ran, at least the day we visited. There were SO MANY PEOPLE, regardless of timed tickets. You couldn't linger long to enjoy as you were being herded through with the crowd. We ended up skipping the third floor entirely and leaving. If we could have experienced a less busy time I would give the museum 5 stars.
Michele Taylor
We had a lot of fun. We had a moonshine tasting in the speakeasy, learned about evidence and DNA in the crime lab and did police officer training/shooting. This place is clean and very informative. Worth a visit.
Carmen Toussaint
My daughter works there part-time and she loves it. She got us special tickets. We had a great time seeing everything. PS: My daughter is a functioning Autistic and the human resources are very helpful and professional. She has been treated well and given every chance to excell there.
G Bloom
It's a lot of reading on your own, so be prepared for that. The sampling area is so noisy that it's hard to hear the presenter if you've got a hearing impairment of any kind. Otherwise it was a good time spent. Prepare to pay for parking. We ate at the Binion casino cafe and they validated parking, so we walked over to the museum afterward.
matt barnes
Fun and interesting museum about the history of the Mob in America, what led to its formation and growth. Into how the mob built much of what we consider the alure of Vegas and leading into its global reach today. The Mob Museum has 3+ floors of exhibits including a not so hidden speakeasy in the basement. There are three extra experiences a police firearms simulation, distillery tour, and crime lab(didn't do that one). They are a blast and very informative. We paid $48, which included museum admission and two experiences. My wife who finds museums very boring loved it. This former courthouse and post office turned museum is just a few blocks from Fremont Street and all of its experiences.
Riza Daniel
It was a nice collection and very well-staged. My son was drawn to the "made men" section which gave us an opportunity to give him a hard time 😆 just for laughs. The Valentine's Day Massacre wall exhibit was so informative and interesting. They even play a small documentary on the actual wall. It was a fun stop overall.
Michelle Look
Historical, Informative and Fun! Take your mug shot it the beginning of the tour. Stop at the snack shoppe to view it. There's a great interactive crime lab, speak easy and historical courtroom.
Amelia McNeil
The visit to the Mob Museum was very enlightening. Saw videos, read documents and experienced trials of crime lords.
Michael Mesarina
Great informational history on the mob. Nice visualization for anyone who is curious about the history of organized crime in America. I was able to get a happy hour ticket for only $20! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for something to do while visiting Las Vegas.
Jackie Fitzgerald Boyd
It was interesting and the regular entry fee about $30 each. Lots of stuff to look at and read. The building itself is interesting too, it was the court. Watched the movie in the courtroom where trials actually took place for some of the mobsters. The museum itself was very packed though. Sea of people in small rooms, it got to be a littletoo much for us. 3 floors of exhibits (included in price), a Speakeasy, and also a distillery tour - extra $. They have other special features too but we didn't do any of those. Spent about 90 mins there. Just a quick walk from Fremont Street.
Richard Wiles
Lots of interesting history of mobs in the United States.
This is a must do when in Vegas.
You can park there for 4 hours and also do Freemont street at the same time.
Aaron Eller
Great museum to see. There are alot of plaques and signs to read and that takes alot of time. If you don't read everything about every person and event it takes about 2 hours. The live interactions take a bit longer. Definitely worth the money to see though. Staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Perry Williams
4 floors if cool photos, exhibits and information about organized chrome.. not just Vegas mafia stuff, but nationwide history of "the mobs". Starting at liberty island, and all the way to current cartel activities. If you're interested in this type of stuff you could easily spend over 8 hours here.
Jennifer Dellett
Was fun to see all the things they had on display, read and hear the stories of times gone by and the history of the mob in Vegas. They have an audio tour you can add to your pkg for an additional fee. The electric chair is pretty cool!
Olivia Hardware
This place had a lot of interesting information, and some fun hadn't on activities,we didn't end up doing just because of our schedules, but from what we saw from afar pretty fun and engaging. Though experiencing some prohibition would of been pretty engaging as well should of dressed the theme haha, loved it!
Tristan Mortimer
A surprisingly interesting museum that was one of the highlights of my trip to Vegas. The staff were great for asking questions, and the speakeasy was also a fantastic cocktail bar - the bartender named Paul taught us more about drinks than we ever knew before while single handedly running a very busy bar. I wish I had a video of him making 3 drinks and closing 3 tabs at the same time!
Erica Barnes
Very cool place if you’re into this type of thing. The courtroom was closed for a private event but we got there at 7:30 and had to leave at 9 for another event. Could’ve easily spent another 30 minutes there.
Jub Ilee
Amazing experiences, pop ups and disclaimers to warn people of parts of the exhibits that may be to much for them, and a very informative tour through history. In my opiniom, A great place to take older children and young adults interested in history.
John M.
Very detailed and informational tour of history. The interactive experiences are fantastic and educational. This is a great way to spend a couple hours when in the area. Nice and clean too.
Tyra Lewis
It was a bit crowded today. You have to be really into crimes and murders to enjoy the museum. There’s a lot of reading and not so much interactive activities unless you pay extra for the exhibits. I enjoyed it because everything was very informative!!!
Richard Poulin
My wife & I were married at the Mob Museum on September 23/22 and Christi, James & the rest of the team were amazing. Everyone made us feel very welcoming and accommodating. Our original officiant was in a car accident on the way to our wedding, Christi had a back up plan that made the wedding even better.
#aweddingnoonewillforget
Jana Gann
4 stories of interesting mob history. I did like that they had the wall from the Valentine day massacre.
Miss Camille
The Mob Museum was awesome!
If you want to learn about the history of Vegas and the origin of the Mob, please visit. You'll learn a lot about people, places and events that played a role in the rise, fall, and resurgence of organized crime.
Cost for general admission was $29/pp. There's a visitors' parking lot ($7) that fills up fast. There are also available parking spaces (for a fee) at the nearby Farmers Market.
Chris Wheeler
We go here every few times we go to Vegas....defiantly worth going to at least once.
Davep518
Awesome place! I would highly recommend visiting if you are interested in mob history. Very cool stuff! We also did the distillery add on which was worth it.
Tony “Tiger” Rogers
I enjoyed the three floor tour of this museum it has a lot of information on mobsters and the police and the FBI some facts that I never knew before. It has a lot of displays that you can actually look at and also it has some videos that you can watch so if you have time go by and check it out.
Gert Spender
A must see, brings some perspectives to the big LV show.
Alexia Zilliken
This is by far my favorite museum and place to hangout in all of Las Vegas! If you're a history buff, interested in the Mob or just looking for a truly unique experince, fugedabout it, you found it here! This three level museum takes you through the birth of the Mob and just how far their reach is and how they touched our fair city. Plus when you're done you can head into the Underground for some bathtub hooch and a bite to eat in 1920s style; you'd expect to see Al Capone grab a seat next to you at the bar 😄😎
Justin Cachelin
A very interesting place. There's a lot of history in crime I never really knew about aside from the movies. They show lots of "items" and a few videos, there's some audio info too. There are two interactive exhibits which we didn't participate in.
There is coffee, beverages (alcoholic and non) and a few carby snacks.
I liked some of their more recent exhibition with more modern crime.
Parking was $8 for 4hrs which we spent 3.5. it's pretty easy to get to and close to Freemont.
Hanbee Ryu
The museum was very informational and interactive! It was much bigger than we thought, so keep that in mind.
One thing though I don’t know if they have guides, but I feel like it would have been helpful because it was hard to read through everything and move at a decent speed.
Gisele Calixto Carter
Very interesting experience. A lot of history. It needs about 2:30 hours at least to see everything.
Kevin Lynn
Outstanding place to visit. Very well done. Even people with a passing interest in mob history will enjoy. After my visit. I walked across the street to find a late lunch. It was a bit sketchy over there.
Sheldon Watson
Great exhibits and the highlight is the Firearms Training. You really get to understand the difficulties LEO's face in a short period and respect how hard their role is every minute. The speakeasy is fun and staff are really helpful.
Justin Derevyanik
If you want to know a lot about the mob's past in Vegas stop in. The history is great. The story is great. The props are great. There's a speakeasy underneath if you want to stop in and try to get a drink. Admission was a fair price for what you get. Definitely a great lesson in history.
Taneisha Harrison
Extremely informative and insightful. I absolutely loved this experience. They had creative ways of conveying the history. A must-see when visiting Vegas. Reasonable priced and informative.
Deon Ruybal
Plan on being there for a few hours. It is great for anyone who loves, the Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino. The Netflix series Narcos, or who just enjoys the dark history of the founding of Las Vegas. This is a great opportunity. Go through one of their three exhibitions such as the Criminal forensics team, the law enforcement firing training, or the Tasting option with their in house Distillery. Fantastic light fare menu in their Speakeasy. And delicious hand crafted cocktails.
Cat Reineke
Terrific staff! Everyone working there was friendly and professional. The museum is really interesting! We opted to visit the crime lab & distillery and were not disappointed! Not for small kids!
Shannon Wilkins
Our second time here since moving to Vegas and we'll definitely new back! If u love Mob History & enjoy looking at actual artifacts from the era, u will absolutely LOVE the Mob Museum. And the cocktails & house made moonshine at the Speakeasy ain't bad either! 😁 …
Gretchen Schneider
Good exhibit. Lots of interactive exhibits plus a few extra experiences you can upgrade to that are educational while being fun. Definitely plan a few hours here
Richard Reyes
Great experience here at the mob Museum
Lots of artifacts too look at and reading material
Exhibits are well informative and authentic
Self tour was good there is an audio tour and other things down in basement speak easy-
3 levels start tour at top level and end up at ground level small gift shop and plent of photos no videos allowed -
Have fun we did
Trina Burnett
A great place to see the history of organized crime. If you’ve already watched a lot of documentaries and read books on organized crime you might not learn much new. The best part is the mob memorabilia.
Brian Goode
Incredible details in all of the stores and retelling of long lost stories. Take at least 4-5 hours, but if you really like the to read, you can stay all 10 hours of daily operstions.
Lukas Nachtigall - Business Simplified
Awesome experience! We spent 2 hours easily in this museum. On 3 floors you will find a lot of photos, videos, history items and much much more. I highly recommend that museum to everyone, incuding teenagers. The history itself is also about a violence of 20th century and I think it's for 16+ age.
chris kemper
It was fun to go through. Didn't think they needed the charge $7 for parking also. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Plan on 3 to 4 hours to see almost everything.
Fork U Academy (Bill Barlow)
This was a good museum. A lot to do and read. Very interesting stuff. Don't go if you don't like seeing photos of mob hits, otherwise it's very informative.
Amit Gil
So much fun, such a great experience, showing the history of the mob in America, the history of Las Vegas and when they join.
The building itself and it history is part of the experience, and is wonderfully utilized in that.
Jen Krause
$30 for adults. Can get little over crowded so maybe go early or late. Three floors. Didn’t try to park but I would suggest Uber in anyway. You can walk to other things in downtown afterwards which is nice. Pretty good exhibit. Some interesting facts that we didn’t know.
Jesus Rubalcava
Everything I imagined! Thank you to my beautiful wife that set up my Birthday wish perfectly, enjoyed every second at the Mob museum, great distillery awesome Moonshine! And the Speakeasy lounge is the perfect setting and great drinks by bartender Chelsea to end our experience. Will be back!!!!!!
Henry Avery
Informative, entertaining, and an all around fun experience for anyone interested in the mob
Michael Leon
Second trip to the Mob Museum. STILL a 5 star activity! Did the Speakeasy moonshine tasting this time... the tasting and time we spent imbibing were worth the 5 stars also. Ended up coming home with 2 bottles of our favorite 'shine. I'll be back, Mob Museum... you stay classy!
Vishal Khushalani
Definitely worth visiting it. The staff was amazing. The stories, collections, and videos gave a good perspective of the history and the transformation of our police force, FBI and laws over the years.
Whitney Steele
Mind. Blowing. So detailed, so interesting, you could spend an entire day there and not feel like you saw everything. The displays and movies were beautifully done, and the guide was so interesting and filled with facts. Easily walkable from Fremont street and the tickets are a great price, an even better price for the experience you receive. Not to mention, the gift shop was killer, the books, t shirts, bar kits were expertly crafted and beautiful
Paola
A great experience even for those who don't do museums! We upgraded our visit to include the simulation and it was well worth it. Our instructor was informative and fun. All the exhibits were well done, they had many authentic pieces from different eras of the mafia. Throughly enjoyable.
Mike Stylez
Not going to lie; this place was the best part of my trip to Vegas. Loved the layout, loved all the history, and and all the information. If y'all ever touring in Vegas check this place out. I suggest you guys sign up for the moonshine tasting tour that they have. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 …
Vegas Josh
It has a lot of old photos that cover the rise of the Mafia in the United States between 1920 and 1980.
Kerry Coyne
Did the fbi experience in DC so this was great seeing it from this side. The crime lab experience was great. Ton of things to see and read. Great history of mob in vegas and other places. The basement speakeasy was cool also. Well worth doing.
Stuart Forster
I thoroughly enjoyed the displays about organised crime and the history of Las Vegas. The courthouse proved interesting. I don't think I have a career as a CSI after spending time in The Crime Lab.
The speakeasy is a lovely spot for a drink.
E Goecke
Pretty cool place. Was hoping for more memorabilia. Lots of reading. Old Videos are cool. Self guided is good for taking your time.
Venessa Hoffman
We had a awesome time . My grandaughter did forensics lass while I did the distillery. We could of spent more time there but we did cover all. It was well enjoyed and worth it.
Lisa Simmons
I don't think its worth the $50 I paid for premium tickets. It was interesting, but you better be ready to READ. Also, the distillery "tour" was more of a class with 3 thimble sized shots of super gross booze. I gave 4 stars because all the employees were awesome and I did enjoy the museum.
Rubin Lopez
Our first visit turned into an extravaganza totally unexpected. Displays were well thought out. Learned more than the normal events that took place all over the world
Leah Colasuonno
really great museum and lovely speakeasy bar in the basement!
kathryn lawler
Loved the interactive classes. The moonshine tasting was a new experience! The museum shows you a lot! Really great!
Mack D
We took the hours to walk through this really cool museum. Tons of facts and stories we didn't know, even about our hometown (Chicago). Absolutely worth for true crime fans!
Amanda Erickson
A little pricey but a lot of good history and neat extra activities. We did the Firearm Training Simulator and Crime Lab. We liked floors 2 and 3 more than floor 1.
Veronica Alcorta
Awesome historical experience in Vegas, 4 stars only because I felt pricing was high for general admission for self guided tours. They did offer other tours but for more $$
Adam Davis
Speakeasy, what speakeasy? I mean...if there were a speakeasy here, it's probably awesome with great service and really great cocktails. Make sure you check out the light reading that comes with your glass.
Sierra Roscom
Definitely a really cool experience! My fiance and i went here on our Vegas trip and we loved it! I also recommend buying the distillery tasting tickets!
Ashlan Yost
The whole experience and atmosphere was super cool and tons of fun. We tried several drinks. Everything was themed, theatrical, and the drinks were great! Would go back for sure! (And probably dress in themed attire next time!)
Mitch Friedlander
Lots of fun and lots to see. The only down side was the "Use of Force" exhibition. The museum guides made it seem there was going to be a hands-on, use of force demonstration for the general public, but it not was offered.
Christina Ridgeway
Great place to visit. Plan 3-4 hours. Lots of reading although there is an audio tour but I don't think you need it. Lots of little movies. Soooooo many artifacts and stories. Very well laid out! Staff stays on top of what's happening and helps guide you through. An amazing place and definitely worth the entrance fee. Self guided so you can go at your own pace. A must see.
Stephen plus Stephanie Phillips
I kinda enjoyed the Mob Museum. Info to read, displays to see, and objects to take pictures with. Then finish it off with a drink at the speakeasy. I'll be the stool pigeon and say, it was a fun time.
Yael W
Probably one of the best, most well done museums I've seen. SO INTERESTING, multiple floors with videos and interactive displays. We spent at least 3 hours here so it is a lot of walking but you could get lost in the exhibits they are so fascinating!!! Loved learning all about the prohibition era and early Las Vegas too. The staff was so knowledgeable... we even got deep into conversation with one employee. If you are in the neighborhood this is definitely a different kind of activity. Its a nice retreat outside the casinos and strip. We bought a combine ticket with the Neon Boneyard, that we visited earlier in the day.
Kyle Cannon
Fascinating history of the mobs and insights that led to the growth of Las Vegas. Very informative and interesting exhibits. Displays held the attention of my elementary and junior high age kids for a couple hours, and I would love to return to visit the distillery with the big kids!
Mister Jon
This is a well done, high budget museum. It is certainly more geared towards a mature audience, although kids over the age of 8 could still appreciate many aspects of it. They do charge $7 for parking at the adjacent surface lot. The museum does a nice job of mixing Mob history with law enforcement. This is definitely worth a stop. Also try the interactive exhibit where you are in the shoes of a police officer trying to make split second decisions. The downstairs speakeasy is a nice touch as well.
Peoples KarmaSquad
Fascinating and informative. Lots of media and actual artifacts.
I recommend taking the additional firearms part of the tour where you will receive actual police training with video and live situations.
Worth the time and cost.
America H Borda
Cool place, history of the Mob!!
PDL 099
Wow, went in there not expecting much but just a place to kill an hour or so. Spent almost 3 hours there. Lots of interesting history about the Mob in America and influence on Las Vegas. I've read and seen lots of biographies and history shows on the Mob but I learned some new things as well.
Chuck Bamford
I had heard this was a good experience... was nicely organized and interesting... waaay too many people... they exercise no capacity control... simply had to crawl through... 2nd floor courtroom and video is a must as is the Speakeasy in the basement.... explore that room for a hidden room.
All in all worth the visit... but only once is needed
BabyC [TV] 22#
This place was amazing a lot of information a lot of pictures a lot of actual things that belong to people guns clothing small items real bullets real guns that I know then I seen has a great downstairs a little restaurant / bar all the underground speakeasy because everyone will enjoy it and love it like I
Joseph Connelly (Adulting Fun VT)
If you like to read this is your place(I do not). A lot of interesting history and a few opportunities to sit and watch a short video which I enjoyed.
Brendie K
Very interesting museum. It was fascinating to learn about all the Mafia's involvement in different places. I would highly recommend going here. It was our favorite stop on our Vegas trip.
Sherry Jensen Mason
Excellent historical museum all about the Mob.
We spent 2 to 3 hours there and did not read everything.
I would go back and spend more time there and to go through the Forensic Lab, which is an add on.
Will Kardas
Seriously, one of the best museums that I’ve been to. Incredibly informative while still keeping it interesting. I wish I had more time to do everything. The Crime Lab experience was a little over priced, but definitely worth doing. Unfortunately, I came a little too late for the police experience. I thought it was amazing to be in the same courtroom that al those cases were held. Just a great museum all around.
Also, be speakeasy downstairs is definitely worth a visit, especially after hours. The door person was awesome!
Jocelyn Diamond
A great place to learn about a fascinating time in our history. Be prepared to spend atleast 3 hrs here. Did the brewery tour too, dam that's some strong moonshine!
Great displays too!
Mac Mill
I had a wonderful time. I just loved the mini movies and all of the artifacts.
All 3 floors are full of knowledge and interesting history. #saylessdomore #FatmacEntertainment 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 …
Carina Kwok
This place is AMAZING! It's so well organized, making it easy to follow the development of the mafia and related crime fighting organizations over time. Plenty of pictures and videos. There's so much information that after a while I stopped reading every sign - normally I read as much as I can in a museum - just picking the displays that were intriguing, and still I walked away with my brain bursting.
The museum is very interactive. I loved standing in the vault lined with pretend money, looking into the closet which showed jackets with extra pockets and bags with false bottoms (ways that the mob members secretly transported skimmed money).
I played poker trivia: the answers were part is the signs scattered around the room. I listened to a docent bring the Valentine's day massacre to life as she stood in front of the actual wall where it happened.
This is probably the most cleverly designed museum I've seen. I was so impressed with the quality and quantity of information.
The Mob Museum was the best thing we did in Las Vegas! Highly recommend.
C G
We went through the museum with the Audio Tour guide addition. It enhanced the experience listening to the audio cues and extra stories instead of reading everything. Definitely spent more time wandering around, enjoying the exhibits this way! Lots of mob history and some graphic depictions. The displays are interactive, clear path, and tons of benches throughout. Only recommendation for the audio is to provide an end cue for each dialogue. The audio just ends and you aren't sure if there is more. Also, bring your own headphones! If not, you just hold the box to your ear so no big deal. Great experience overall!
Carol Brobeck
Hands down best museum I've visited anywhere - loved the distillery experience! We spent 4 hours and it wasn't enough time.
Walter W
29 bucks at time of writing to enter and worth it if you take your time. Well done exhibits and information on various crime organizations throughout (recent) history.
Mike Blake
Wow! 3 floors of exhibits. Some were graphic. Its important to note that it wasn't just mafia. But all the minorities that had gangs and wanted a piece of the $$$.
Victoria C
This place is INTENSE! A Lot to take in. I'd love to go again. The videos were informative and made you think. Even during this pandemic, there were plenty of patrons. I had an elevator adventure when I pressed the wrong button and made it to the kitchen! 🤣🤣 Everyone was very nice and helpful. I truly enjoyed the "Wall of Assassinations" or that's what I'm calling it! Next time I'll go to The Underground Bar.
Micah Gaudio
Great museum. Parking is $7 adult tickets are well over $25. Would take you about an hour and a half to two and a half hours to go through the entire exhibit. Don't forget to go to the basement and check out the Speakeasy bar. Excellent gift shop with tons of good souvenirs.
Mark Edgell
Interesting venue and easy to find. Entrance fee seemed high for what you're getting, but it's neat and well organized.
Jennifer Bauer
Absolutely love this experience. The employees were so knowledgeable and very helpful. Spend the extra money to enjoy the full experience.
Vanessa Carrizales
The museum was so informative, so much history. Explains alot. Did the crime scene activity. Learned how crime scenes are processed after evidence is gathered. Would suggest to go early to make sure to get through all 3 floors. Hopefully will go back.
Daniel Suarez
This Museum is semi interactive place. Great to go and find out how the gangster life started in Las Vegas and the rest of the country also I would recommend to get one of the experience at least, we did two of them, because one is not for kids, there were great. We have a great time and we spend about 2 hours between the three floors, the other floor is The Distillery and because my kids are minors we couldn't go. I would recommend anybody who cometo Vegas to go there
Lydia Arnold
This was the second time visiting as my fiancé is a donor. People are wonderful! We took the distillery tour. The presenter was amazing! Very personable, very informative.
Eileen
My husband and I took our friends here during their visit to Vegas. We all absolutely loved it. It's been a few years since I last visited and there were quite a few new things to see. Our favorite new thing was The Underground! A speak easy themed bar in the basement! The drinks and food were delicious. The decor was amazing. There's so much to look at and experience at this museum so give yourself lots of time. Luckily after you've paid you get a wristband that allows you reentry into the museum in case you need to leave the building. It's good for the entire day. And believe me, you'll need the entire day to see and enjoy it all. It's so worth it!!
Angela Marrali
Love love loved this place! There is so much to read, do and learn! You could spend an entire day here and never once get bored. Reasonably priced and worth every penny! Add on one of the experiences to your day pass. We did the interactive shooting scenario and it was great! 4 floors of nothing but extremely interesting history! A must do when visiting Vegas! The gift shop is pretty awesome too! Be sure to check it out!
Sam Bartleman
Incredibly detailed and informative museum. Probably the best museum in Vegas. They don’t hold back any grisly details. Very interesting trip through Vegas history and the history of organized crime in America. Parking is easy here and expect to spend 3-4 hours to see it all.
chefn4u2
Great history of the mob and how it influenced society back in the day. Absolutely worth the stop and the "experiences" they offer for an additional fee we had so much fun and very exciting to do! From teenage to retired we all throughly enjoyed the museum.
Take your time, read transcripts in the handwriting of the accused. Listen to actual audio of string operations and hear the voices of the men who helped shape Las Vegas in the early days.
I highly recommend!
Nicole
This museum gets crowded so get there early. The museum had a very informative layout of the Mob History and how Vegas was built upon it. You truly can get lost in this museum so I recommend setting aside 2-3 hours to tour.
Thomas Rossini
Had a great time at the museum. Loved how it was set up lots smto see and do. The wall at the st Valentine's day massacre was shocking to see. Lots of other neat historical items. definitely a must see and do place. Lots of history here about the mafia as well.
Lonne Dull
This was one of my favorite places to visit I highly recommend it if your in Vegas lots of history very neat old place I will be going back lots of fun👍👍👍👍 …
Michael Brunner
Good museum well worth the money. The information was also very up to date including recent events. If you take your time to read the information you can spend 90 minutes - 2 hours without the special experiences that are available at optional cost.
The personal was very friendly although the lady at the Valentine's massacre wall might have oversold it a bit :)
Mychal Rorls
This truly has been one of the best museums I've ever attended. I will say I've always been fascinated by the MOB culture and to see its history for so many different backgrounds and era's has truly been a pleasure. I highly recommend seeing this museum if you're travelling to Vegas, very fascinating with so much to do and see!!!
Dan Wiandt
My wife and I had such a great time learning about the history of organized crime, in Las Vegas and the US. the museum and it's several add on classes are so fun and worth the money. We learned a lot! There's also a speak easy and distillery in the basement that has FANTASTIC drinks and food. Definitely a MUST DO while in downtown Vegas.
Ryan Bauer
What an awesome place! The building this museum occupies was initially a courtroom and location of one of the trials for the Kefauver hearings. The museum itself is detailed and indeed a sight to see. I love the movie Casino and seeing that entire era highlighted was great. The staff was all dressed in appropriate attire and were knowledgeable about the history of the museum. It was a delightful experience and a place I would recommend to anybody.
Monica J (Mo Jo)
Excellent exhibit. I thought we were only going to be there 30 minutes to 1 hour did not realize how thorough they were. So many interesting facts. I learned a lot. It has four levels. It's only $7 for parking for 4 hours on their property. If you want to stay longer pay the $7 for parking and ask to park on the other side of the wall and then you can park the whole day for the same price. That way you can walk around downtown after the exhibit. It takes anywhere from 2 1/2 to 4 hours if you want to be thorough. If you would like to have a beverage alcoholic or non-alcoholic There is a speakeasy in the basement along with a lot of history on the walls. They show short films. I recommend it. You can take pictures at a police lineup and they will give you inmate numbers along with it. It's fun and very informative. Must must see. They offer local discounts as well as military and teachers discounts. Just ask at the cashier window. It's worth the price regardless. I will take family and friends every time they come to visit
Bobby Baugh
This was one of the best things I have been to in Vegas. Self guided tour with hours of interesting information on the mob and their family history. The building itself has a long standing history and has been well preserved. I highly recommend that you visit this museum if you are looking for something away from the strip.
Debbie Rowell
For all mob lovers, this museum would be a treat just for you. After being in there you'll feel like you're one of the guys 😎..you can even get MADE. The distillery tour and speakeasy is awesome. It's inexpensive too. I will be back to visit again next year. …
Smevin Bravis
Super informative, even if you already know a decent amount about the mob. Three stories in what I think is an old courthouse building - If not, coulda fooled me🤷♂️ Great layout and an interesting interactive bit here and there, plus you can get a drink while you wait for the courtroom to open up - if only real life was this kind. The extra events and activities seem so dope, I wish we'd had a bit more time to spend here, but regardless this is a great stop while you're around Fremont.
Justice
If you're interested in the history of Las Vegas, this is the place to go. I enjoyed learned the story behind Fremont and the strip in such an interactive way. Visiting really shows the very beginning of this city that not that long ago used to be only a few hotels/casino's ran by the Mob, some all the way from Kansas City!
There are four stories, you start at the top and walk your way down the the prohibition area / speakeasy bar at the bottom. Exhibits include everything from photos, unique memorabilia, interactive exhibits, amazing movies, antique furniture, not to mention the building itself. One of the best niche museums I've been to.
Don't forget to check out the bar downstairs! The bar tender was a wealth of information and truly cares for his craft and was the perfect ending to the tour.
Merry Lenz
Lots of interactive displays. Highlight is speakeasy with hidden room. Interesting and tastey cocktails. Moonshine made on site.
TRACY BRANCO
Wow! This is a must see. Put it on your list of things to do. They have guided tours and SO knowledgeable. The information in the last room gets updated almost daily. Worth the extra money for the guided tour. They offer discounts for teachers, military, and 1st responders. They have a crime lab and 'experiences' that are fun for adults and kids. The gift shop had the coolest selection which included loaded dice, a pencil holder made of a real gun barrel. We had a ton of fun while learning.
Ericka Sims-Hall
We loved the Mob Museum for our downtown date night. Parking was easy, there is a parking lot right next door for $7. The building itself is beautiful, it was built in the 1930s. The exhibits and details are very interesting but the coolest thing about it was seeing the original St. Valentine’s Day massacre wall. Another fun feature is the speakeasy in the basement. It was nice to tour the museum and have a drink at their bar right after. We didn’t pay for the extras and felt good with that decision after leaving.
Mark Jaggers
This place is amazing. There is so much information here related to the mob and how organized crime started. They did a great job putting all of this information together. There are 3 floors of amazing displays and in the basement is their new speakeasy which has some great cocktails and a moonshine pot still. This is a great place to visit when in Vegas.
Sarah Marrinan-Realtor
Lots of information! Great activities and historical accounts. Good thing kids are free because adult tickets are expensive. ($80+ for 2 people)
To me it felt like a timeline was missing... It was hard for me to keep the pieces together. Would be great if they would add a timeline somewhere in the exhibit stitching things together from the first historical recordings until present day.
Anne
Great history, really a lot of fun to see the evolution of mobs and crime. 3 Floors of things to look at and bring your camera. You will be taking a ton of pictures.
Lollipop Sena
So cool inside. Has levels to the museum, each level is so unique in the mob itself. Must try the speak easy so cool!!!!!
Tony Vidal
This was part of our Las Vegas pass. Very interesting and informative. Make sure to visit the speakeasy and bring your wallet.
Richard Terrell
Need quite a bit of time in the museum ,it's a lot to enjoy .and also end it at the speak easy ,drinks and lite food to end an interesting venture .
Isaac Kirkland
If you're a Mob enthusiast then you have to check it out! Definitely worth the visit. There is a lot of information to read so be prepared!
Marquetta Rattler
AMAZING ... Great history, truthful. A lot of photos and stories. Great gift shop. They have a 20 dollar deal if you go after 5pm 29 dollars before or you can search for a coupon online that will make it 25 anytime.
Nicholas Buck
This might actually be my favorite part of this trip to Vegas. I saw it on Groupon and took the chance. It was more than worth it. So much history, information and great interactive displays for people to enjoy. Take the opportunity to enjoy some of the extras in the museum, The use if force exhibit, the CSI, and the Speakeasy with Distillery in the basement. I was there for about 3 hours and enjoyed all of it. The distillery and Speakeasy were awesome. I really enjoyed sampling all of their products. I would highly recommend this as a must stop while visiting Vegas.
Jessica Ruiz
The Mob Museum is chocked full of engaging displays that are interesting, informative, and sometimes interactive! It was a lot of fun getting in close to look at memorabilia or read tidbits about certain mob bosses, but it's also cool to step back and take in the layouts and displays. I got to take a tour of the distillery and learn a bit about prohibition and rum runners! There's a lot to see. Plan on staying a couple of hours at least! Awesome, 10/10, would recommend. There's a great atmosphere here and it's worth the visit fo sho!
Helen R.
Spent about 2 hours in The Mob Museum. It was a tad busy, but understandable and still very fun to see everything. Learning some of the history was really interesting and the staff were all very kind and courteous. Would highly recommend.
Karl Whinnery
Wow, spent way more time here than expected. A few of the displays were read right to left, which was weird, but outside of that this place is a must see. We spent over two hours learning about all sorts of crime history. The speak easy is great too. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The electric chair is a nice highlight. The gas chamber chair was scary. Each exhibit was well thought out and easy to read/follow. I was never bored. They had a great assortment of props. Way cooler than I expected.
Keith Dames
We had a blast! The distillery tour and tasting was worth the extra couple bucks. We sat and had cocktails and a charcuterie tray in the speakeasy. One cocktail came in a hollowed-out book. The staff was great. I'll be recommending to friends!
Kelley Reyes
I really enjoyed reading and seeing all the different things they had. After purchasing your tickets stop at the underground bar they have! The building is the actual courthouse where some of the mobsters were on trial.
Steve
I have ready many mob books and seen all the movies. This place was really cool. I enjoyed the exhibits, seeing old Tommy guns and photos of Elliott Ness. If you like museums it’s worth the price of admission. Be sure to visit the speak easy bar that’s connected to it.
Ted DeRuyter
Was hesitant at first but turned out to be a fun experience and loads of information about the mob. We purchased the premier pass. Did the firearms training which is done very well and responsibility. The distillery experience was quick and interesting as well. Recommend ordering a drink in the speakeasy as well.
Cathy Hall
It was very interesting to know some history about our hometown. They have some interactive areas but some were not working like the poker table. They could use more of those interactive machines and movies. It was fun nonetheless. The Speakeasy Underground bar was awesome.
Lord Ford
I had a great time and lots of cool stuff to see! Is cool you can take lots of pics, just no light turned on on camera.
Courtney Brown
Loved the mob musuem! It's violent (graphic photos and videos), informative and extraordinary at the same time. To think mobsters and police lives with all this violence back then and to know the extent of it is kind of cool and shocking. They have interactive exhibits as well such as a crime scene exhibit and a gun simulation exhibit (you can pay for that in your admission package) they even have a speak easy (I won't show you guys this pics so it can be a surprise 😉) but so worth it. And the bar/restuarant has really good food to snack and drinks to snack on after the three story tour. Love the gift shop too. Definitely will visit again.
Helenore Kelenore
Very detailed accounts of mob history from early 1900s through today. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean on each floor. Need about 2-3 hours if you take time to really read all placards.
Stephanie Lorraine
Wow! This museum is super cool, educational and fun. There are three stories and a basement with a bar. I dont wanna give too much away so check it out!! And heads up, parking is $7.
Katie Drees
Thought this place was super cool! Lots of great stuff on display and the old courthouse that its housed in is beautiful! I thought the way the exhibits were set up were kind of weird though...didn't seem to be any sort of order. Wasn't really sure how they were trying to tell the story of the mobsters they featured in the exhibit. Was definitely cool to see though and it's a block off Fremont street so it's easy to find.
River King
This place was fascinating! Really learned a lot and had a great time! Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to go through and see everything, took us about 3 hours. Also! There's a really cool speakeasy in the basement you have to check out if you're over 21 (and you can just go to the bar if you want if museums aren't your thing but cool 1920's places are!
Mike Grabowski
Fantastic museum!!! Such an amazing place full of history both about the mob and Las Vegas. It's location inside an old courthouse and post office only adds to it's charm. The distillery and speakeasy in the basement is a nice touch and a great place to relax and enjoy some of their house made moonshine or whiskey
taylor owens
A cool place to go if you want to travel back in time and relive the mob and gangsters. They have great artifacts and videos that take you back. I really enjoyed this museum, admission prices were worth it. If you like history this is a place to go.
Aaron Luna
We did the speak easy whiskey tasting. The whiskey was really good and the pairing was perfect! The staff were pretty good and nice. The presentation could have been a little better which is why the one star dropped.
Tori
Really interesting, lots to read. Must go see the basement bar. Aloe of really cool info on how Vegas came to be. With the trip to old Vegas.
Loida Rendon
Cool place to visit. Spent about 2 hours in the museum. A lot of information, videos and a court trial to attend (video). They have interactive activities as well and a snack and souvenir shop.
Debra Robinson
Impressed at the effort to stagger traffic flow to maintain the most comfortable experience. Comprehensive collection, well displayed, small theater areas are great. The gift shop is awesome.
Lucero Chavez
Its impressive the amount of detail of this museum, it used to be a court room back in the 50’s, so they have 3 floors of amazing stuff. They even have a bar, and is completely wheelchair accesible.
This is a must in Las Vegas, after that you can walk Fermont St. which is really worth it!
Its a shame el Chapo featuring in this museum...
7RUN2 Jessica
Zachary was so knowledgeable and kind. He showed us many of the famous artifacts and explained the history that went along with them in a short time due to our late arrival. He was AWESOME! He should have his own tip jar, even though we know he cannot accept them. We really enjoyed our short time with him. We will abaolutely be back again with more time to visit next time we are in Vegas. The museum is very cool! Five stars all the way.
Jaci Davis
The extra experiences were a lot of fun for an additional fee. The speakeasy downstairs was the best.
Big Muff Madrid
This was a really good experience. There is a lot to see and you can spend as little or as much time as you want to spend. Some of the exhibits are dark and best for adult eyes, henceforth the age limits, but they warn you ahead of time when gruesome stuff is coming up incase you don't want to see it. The speak easy is pretty cool as is the gift shop. 4 floors of awesome exhibits assuming you like stories of the Mob.
Irene G (djsoulglo)
This place is awesome! There’s so much to learn about the mob, and don’t pass up the Crime Lab or the Speakeasy. They offer a moonshine tasting, too.
Andria S
Excellent full day adventure. The museum without any of the additional experiences was wonderful, thorough, and informative. The speakeasy in the basement was the cherry on top. Service was fast, efficient and exciting. Really top notch cocktail experience.
wayne walker
If you want to read everything plan for half a day. It covers all mob related stuff not just Los Vegas related mob stuff. I left my girlfriend in there after three hours. But she stayed and finished going thru. Wish I would have known there was a cafe in the basement as I could have waited there for her.
Jonathan Ellis
This place is awesome. The history comes to life with all the exhibits and showrooms that are offered. You can spend a few hours here no problem and to relax theres a speakeasy in the basement that offers good food options and drinks. This is a must see for anyone visiting Vegas but even more so for all our LEOs out there. Come check it out
Nicole Burns
Very cool! Totally worth it! But plan about 2 hours to go through the whole thing. It's very well planned and directional. While it's self-guided, the museum is set up so it takes you through time recounting the history of the mob in the US and especially how influential it was in the success of Las Vegas. Very fun and informative.
Stuart Mckinney
Absolutely loved it, although it was busy, the classic cars adjacent to the museum, was lovely. Oh my goodness the museum is a must see.. you won't be disappointed
Michael “Mikey” Chavez
Great experience.. alot to learn and great historical information! And you must stop in down into the basement To enjoy and experience the UNDERGROUND SPEAKEASY & DISTILLERY!
Shawna Storms
Absolutely loved the mob museum! So much to see and do and interact with. Definitely worth the money for entry. No r eww sl wist either and you can come back as much as you want for the day of purchase. Such cute little items in the gift shop. The court house setting was perfect. Highly recommend the movie in the court house. Learned alot and will defintely go back. Within walking distance of freemont street even on a hot day.
drea lucy
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I did the distillery and the crime lab experience. I had a great time. Highly recommend
Joseph Pak
Fantastic place! And they give local discounts which made me very happy. If you have a fascination with the mob this place is a must see as they have some of the best exhibits and memorabilia.
Lisa Gevaert
The mob museum was very informal and interesting. Had an amazing time.
Taylor Arder
This was an amazing experience. The museum was so well put together, even the ticket booths and the bathrooms were themed to fit the museum. There were so many artifacts and I really got an idea of what it was like during that time. I think the speakeasy in the basement of the museum was an excellent touch as well.
Desiree Watson
Such a cool place! If you have any interest in the Mob, the history of Las Vegas, or the Prohibition there is a lot to learn here.
My husband and I paid for the audio tour and I would say honestly I don't feel like it was with the money, there's not really extra info shared, and there's already so much to take in.
I'm more of a visual person and I think maybe it depends on how you best receive information.
Either way, absolutely awesome place, absolutely awesome info. The distillery tour was really cool, I don't drink but I think it's pretty cool that you can have moonshine there that's made safely. Anyway, I fully recommend this place.
C. K.
I recommend a visit to the Mob Museum, though I feel the standard ticket price is a little steep. A very informative and interactive museum with something for everyone. Learned much more about organized crime than I knew before, and even learned about people on the Law Enforcement side that I never knew existed. It was surreal sitting in the actual courtroom where a portion of the Kefauver hearings took place. I didn't visit The Underground during my visit, but I hear it's a lively joint.
artssygrl
Vegas Mob history. Great museum with quite a variety of items not just gambling. The docents were in character which is always fun. They we also quite knowledgeable. Nice gift shop wirh reasonable prices. The speak easy in the basement is so fun.
Athena
Such a cool experience! Loved the speakeasy downstairs as well. Only complaint is the waitress, she was not friendly and had a poor attitude.
Nick Bukosky
You can park onsite, it cost $10.00. If the lot is full there is overflow on just on the other side of the wall. The cost for entry is around $30.00 for your own pace.
This place is absolutely filled with so much information - its a lot to take in. I dont' want to spoil anything so I won't go into or show pictures of specific exhibits. But it covers such a broad range of a lot of things. Current day to way back in the day, mob to movies and everything in between. Even the building itself has some fun history. Read about the the ladder near the end for some fun history not necessarily mob related.
Give yourself at least 2 hours to go through it if you want to read and watch the exhibits. We went at a time where I was getting hungry and then I sorta hurried through. We didn't choose a guided tour which I think is good as you can spend as much or as little in any of the areas. I cannot stress enough just how much information is here to read, look at, listen to. Give yourself time to go through it.
They have a happy hour to save some money - for sure take advantage of that. I will go back and during that time for sure.
Chris Marino
WOW... I was unsure of going here to be honest. what an amazing place with incredible, kind and extremely knowledgeable staff. This is a must if you visit Las Vegas and care about doing anything off the strip.
Michael Jordan
Loved the museum!
Not a lot of artifacts but very informative. The exhibits are well designed and some entertainingly interactive.
The guides are helpful. Some of which I believe are retired law enforcement.
They have a speakeasy in the basement that serves locally made 'moonshine' and other spirits.
If you are law enforcement or a teacher, you get a $5 discount. There are other discounts but I'd check.
The gift shop has a lot of cool merch.
It's right next door to the Freemont Street Experience in DTLV so check it out.
Wendy
I really enjoy museums but this one takes the cake. Tons of info and real artifacts. You could spend all day here if you read everything. Its in the old court house so it makes it even more authentic. Great staff. Lots of stairs. I learned a lot. Cool to see how it relates to vegas too. Got our tickets online to save some money. Also parking is limited and expensive. We found on street parking so that was cheaper. Also not the best area of town ever.
Tyler Brandt
The mob museum was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend getting at least one of the additional experiences to check them out as well. Had a great time, learned a lot, got some really cool pictures, and came home with some tasty souvenirs.
Jenny Healy
Loved every minute we did the distillery tour and learned so much about vegas mob history. We really enjoyed our cocktails in the prohibition bar.
Fern MsTiri
This is the BEST place to see and hear about the history of organized crime in the US and specifically how it shaped and affected Las Vegas. Plan a whole day, there are 3 floors of displays.
Rodney Roe
Lots of interesting facts about the mob history. Lots of reading and walking, but there is an audio tour as well. Pretty cool place to visit.
Amy Foist
My favorite part was the crime scene lab, I probably would have stayed longer and enjoyed the speak easy downstairs if I had time. All in all a cool experience.
rabid pandaren
This place is so cool and has tons of interesting artifacts! I had so much fun learning about the history of the mob's involvement in the development of Vegas. My favorite part was probably the speakeasy in the basement. Excellent service, drinks, and food with silent films playing as well. I would love to come back next time I go to Vegas.
dan riley
3 hours of fun! Many facts, actual pictures ...be warned, not all sections are kid friendly and quite graphic, but very educational for sure!
Tara Carter
So much information of American history. Sitting in an original courtroom where some high profile individuals were was amazing. The history of Vegas, the Mob, and how it all grew and changed is mind boggling and still fun.
Deborah Holtzscheiter
A must see! We were there over 2 hours and did not do any of the interactive exhibits just the regular walkthrough. Interesting info on the mob and Las Vegas.
Joe Lights
This museum experience was unexpectedly wonderful. This place gets extremely busy and packed with people but that didn't stop me from enjoying the exhibits. I was able to move through the standing people and take in the tour at my own usual faster paced speed. The informative staff of docents knew their job well and made the exploration a joy. Don't miss this place on your trip to the city.
Reggie Poplus
This place is awesome....I will come back on my next visit to Vegas. There is so much to experience here and the staff is patient and knowledgeable. If you like Gangsta you will love this museum. It will take you about 45 minutes to an hour on each floor and there are three floors so plan accordingly. I needed more time because I like to watch every film exhibit and read the information cards😂
Cali OpinionMatters
5 ***** All the way. Wow, what a pleasant surprise, the mob museum is an awesome place to spend half a day (then spend the rest of your day down the street in the Fremont St area).
Full of juicy Vegas Mobster stories, I was finally able to put names and faces with all the crazy stories we have heard about the origins of Vegas.
And don’t forget to visit the speakeasy downstairs in the basement, great drinks, excellent food and very attentive servers.
Melanie Schmidt
Very educational and well done. The building itself is a treasure and the distillery and speakeasy was a fun surprise.
Tabitha Pinter
This place was amazing!! The set up was great, it was easy to navigate, the employees were insanely nice. I can't wait to go back. I wish I would have know to go earlier in the day because there is so much to see and read!! I feel like the hould stop selling tickets after 630 because it is a bit pricey and if you dont go beforehand, you won't get your money's worth. Or give a discounted amount after 7 because you won't see everything. That's the one thing I was disappointed about. I didn't feel like i got my moneys worth.. Everything else was great. So informative. I cant wait to go back to vegas just to I can actually make it through the whole museum. I would dedicate about 3 hours
Momentum Consulting
Make sure that you go there early so that you can experience the interactive parts of the museum. If you go there later than 7 they may be closed. The museum does close at 9 p.m.
It was very cool and informative though I think it was a little bit overpriced for what it is
CedarwoodPhotos
Fun to stroll around and view exhibits in airconditioning. Topics and photos are a bit gruesome.
Mark Sochor
Loved the whole experience if the 8 dollar parking fee 8s a turnoff show up after 3 and it's moot also " Bones" in the Underground will make it all worthwhile. Excellent experience.
Kimber Ferm
Where to begin! The exhibits where wonderful...there was just enough on the moonshine samples during the distillery tour. The guide was was fantastic and witty! I highly recommend spending time here.
Denise Warren
Very interesting and well done. Worth the admission fee. The building, being an old downtown Las Vegas post office and Courthouse, is the perfect location for this Museum. The original court room, where they held some of the mob trials is intact. They show a movie about some of the proceedings and use the latest technology. It's very cool. The Mob Museum is very close to Fremont Street with plenty of parking.
Maria Schell
More interesting and fascinating than I imagined!! I will definitely be back at another visit while in Vegas!!
Nancy Lujan
It was very interesting! I don't recommend for kids cause there's some gruesome photographs but there's alot of info, a cute gift shop and a small distillery! 🍻 #Fuggedaboutit
In The Home Shop
Awesome place. So much history, some uncomfortable, but its history and it happened. Must check it out!
aaron bustamante
Very cool place lots of information and things we didn't know about being from the Chicago area I can't belive it took us going to Vegas to see the St. Valentines day massacre wall lol
Donté Dunnagan
Enjoyed the experience. But, there is A LOT of information to take in! You can leave and come back on the same day if you keep your wrist band on. Which maybe the route to take doing this. Having the wall from the St. Valentine's Day Massacre was amazing to see. By the time we made it to the last floor, I was burned out with the whole thing. There was a lot of people so some things were less accessible. That may have played a factor with the burnout feeling I got. I do recommend checking it out though. Just be prepared for the adventure.
Carlos Babcock
Excellent museum with a great staff.
Try the Speakeasy in the basement. The cocktails are to die for, the service is excellent, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable.
Valeria Scales
It was soooo cool, I loved the pictures an the old memorabilia. I took pictures of the 100 years
But you had to stand some distance back. So you couldn't see the names. I had to tell people, that Vegas is more than gambling.
Tracy Lyn
Thus museum was so fun and interesting. We enjoyed the forensics and police enforcement add ons. There was so much to see and learn about. Being from Chicago, I grew up hearing all about mob history and this place really put it all together. Highly recommend a visit here.
Lance Lugo
My wife and I had a blast learning the history of mob crime in our country. You will be charged for parking. Admission was easy and efficient. We spent nearly 3 hours here and attended the moonshine and crime lab "extras". They were both very fun. The lady that hosts the moonshine experience is passionate and engaging.
Even after 3 hours there were some things we had to skip so that we could continue with our day.
marj1st
What a comprehensive, educational and comfortable hidden gem! Split into three levels incorporating criminal syndication history and the evolving government agencies, this place flows smoothly. Exhibits have short films, artifacts, touch screens, interactive displays and an excellent gift shop to boot. It's so interesting and varied, you forget you're learning. The staff is friendly and very well educated! Very well done!
