Reviews of DISCOVERY Children's Museum
Melinda Muyargas
Best children's museum I've ever been to and definitely worth the entrance fee! My 3-year-old had a blast. There's so many fun things to do, and each of them is secretly educational. :) I love that they have so many different things to learn about.... water, art, music, physics, inventions... Plus there's so much that involves creativity, including pretend play. We could have spent all day there! Pack a lunch so you can enjoy the place to its fullest! (but you ARE allowed to leave for lunch and come back, if you want)

Great interactive experience for kids of all ages, our group of children had a great time. They have great selection of kids and toddlers science educational experiences, such as mechanical, sport, medicine, shopping and space sites. Kids really enjoyed the day. Highly recommend this museum for kids.

Best children's museum I've ever visited! My 2.5 year old was riveted (and her parents and grandma had fun too). So much to explore, learn and enjoy. Hours and hours of fun. I love all the ways that the space engages young minds. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in town.
Miriam Moshkovski
We had a blast! There is truly something for every age here. I took my toddler and preschooler for about an hour and a half, but we definitely could have stayed 30-45min more. They clean frequently which is great since the whole museum is a super high touch environment.

Discovery Children’s Museum is definitely a 5-star experience! The kids could’ve spent the whole day there if our family hadn’t left to get food! I Was alarmed at the price since it was our first visit, but I can easily say it was well worth it and we’ll be visiting again! All kids ages 3-10 found fun activities to occupy them for hours!

Great spot to spend time with your kids. This was my 3rd time here. The first 2 times were during the school year and it was packed with kids on field trips. Today was totally different! Barely anyone was here on this Monday! My 2 kids got to experience all the exhibits and areas without any interruption! It was fantastic. Got in right at 10 am and left around 12:30. It was a fun and educational day, plus it wore my energetic kids out. Make sure to park in the parking garage attached to the museum and bring your parking ticket in to get validated.

Love, love, love this place. I don't know why I didn't bring my little one here sooner. My daughter had an amazing time! I am so glad we got an annual membership! There is so much to do here, I don't see how a toddler could ever get bored.
3 floors of endless possibilities! My daughter absolutely loved the education jungle gym (or whatever you want to call it) taking you up each level. The pirate ship has multiple levels (but is only on 1 floor) and even has a wheel chair lift to ensure no one is missing out on the fun!
Every floor has so much to offer, I know there are things we didn't even get to, which is great because everytime we go it will be like a new experience. The water area, mining, arts and crafts, pretend zone... just a few fun places on the 1st floor.
Moving up to the second floor the giant mouth where they can pretend to be a dentist, the nursery, the grocery store, Raiders stadium, bank and more. 3rd floor lots of cool invention stuff, but we didn't spend much time here as a certain someone needed lunch and a nap.
You won't regret going here and I highly recommend getting an annual pass, especially if you have younger kids. Most activites like dance class you pay $65+/month for 1 hour/week, if it's not an off week. Depending on your membership you could be spending $85/year and can take you kid as much as you have time for.
Yes, they validate parking!

Childrens museum was great! It is 3 stories and has something for kids of all ages. Our 1 year old absolutely loved the water portion of this and we made the mistake of doing this first. He was drenched after 5min. They have little raincoats but we let him explore as he was. The little mechanic portion was really neat but a little to big for our kiddo currently. The place us decently priced as well too. I think it was roughly 15 or 16 per person.
Shearon DeGraffe
My grandkids are age 10 & 3 and they had a great time especially with the water. There is so much for the children to do and it's all hands on. They can be work on cars, fly airplane, talk sports, grocery shop, and learn about banking all in one place. Surprise to use Military is Free up to five all summer long.
Jessica Pellegrini
My kids aged 7, 9 and 10 loved this place. I was worried they might be a little too old to really enjoy the place but that was definitely not the case. They spent over an hour on each floor (there are 3 floors). There is something here for everyone and I thought they did a nice job of keeping it clean and organizing the chaos.
Jasmin Moore
kids love this place so much, there are 3 levels of fun to get started with and different activities from Art, to theater, to water aquatics a Kid size grocery store, baby hospital and dentistry. Loads of fun every time. i have to admit i enjoyed myself as well. 💛 …
Laura La Rue
Awesome place for younger children! My daughter loved all the cool trinkets and big jungle gym they had. There was a huge pirate ship and dress up clothes they can put on and a castle and a water area. She had so much fun climbing and sliding down all the slides.
If you are local you get a cheaper rate of $13.50 instead of $15.50 or if you have an EBT card or WIC card you get a discounted price of $3 per tickets for up to 4 tickets. That’s what we did and paid only $9 for 3 of us. Definitely a great place to take the kids and they are amazing for working with people on the price!
Necole
If you have an EBT or WIC card you will get a discount. $12.00 for up to 4 people entry. Any child over the age if 1 years old has to pay for admission. Parking ranges from $1. - $2.00 per hour depending where you park.
Inside food is allowed, but you have to eat it where the benches and chairs are near entrance.
Wear comfortable shoes, this place has 3 floors.
They have an infant/toddler area with bathroom. It's mostly padded.
Justin Chua
This was our first time to visit with a 2 yo and an 11 mo. We spent 2-3 hours there and didn’t get to see everything which means we’re so excited to come back! The exhibits are so interactive and educational. Garage parking is free with validation. The volunteers do occasional educational lectures. Overall, a very fun experience and a must-go for kids. 5/5 stars.
Sarah Love (Izzy)
The Discovery Children's Museum was clean, safe, and overall a fun way for kids to learn. With 3 floors of different activities, there is a very large elevator for those who need it and/or a giant plays cape for kiddos to literally climb through discoveries.
Sabré Lissette
Our 1st time visiting the museum & my 5 year old son had a Blast! Hours of fun with art, exhibits, obstacle courses, & shows that help build self-confidence. We will definitely return soon.
Allisen Shaw
Great place to keep little ones busy!! Needs some repair/upgrade to some of the interactive stations but overall a great experience. Easily spent hours running back & forth through all 3 floors
Marie Grace Alban
This is a great place for kids and adults. It is extremely interactive. We were here for almost 3 hours and didn’t finish seeing everything. My kids got tired but they loved it.
Nicholas McLaughlin
We spent roughly two hours here, although one could easily spend half a day here with the craft workshops included, etc. With our 2 year old there was enough to do although a good portion is geared towards older children: toddler town, play areas, the mock Smith's store area, etc. The parking garage is right across from museum and is about $2/hour. Admission for locals (w/ proof of Nevada ID) is $3 off
Andrew Christopher
A really wonderful treat for our little kiddos! We brought an 8-year old and 15-month old and everyone had plenty to do.
Water world, very cool interactive activities on all floors, even an open theatre with costumes for kids to create their own plays - your young ones will love it here!
Can get a little cramped as the venue goes up instead of wide, but overall, we had an absolute blast!
Ariana Vafai Janbahan
We reserved a birthday expedition for our 6-year-old and Angel was the sweetest host, with the most patience--especially for our last minute canceled guests, late ones, and our decision to leave a bit earlier than we said at first. The process was easy, they were responsive and attentive. While you're there you see plenty of staff walking around and making sure everyone is being safe. I love bringing my family here and would do the birthday expedition again. It's an affordable way to make someone's birthday a little more special and when you leave you get a snack and goody bag/toy which was a nice bonus. A lot of fun stuff for kids to play with and lots of things that spark imaginative and inner-child play. They recently added a dental exhibit, which was both fun and educational!
Chad Fredericks
We spent half a day here mid trip so our 5 year old daughter could have something fun to do that was all about her (besides the typical on-strip activities). It ended up being a huge success as she had a great time here. There was enough left to do that we could've easily spent the whole day if we did everything she wanted to check out.
Some of her highlights: 1) dress up / acting stage 2) water activity area 3) the climbing 3 story center section with activities throughout 4) the art area 4) the 'job' area where she pretended to be a mechanic, dentist, and pediatrician in separate themed play areas.
The place was busy but its large enough that there's something for everyone to do and it never felt crowded.
Only thing I wish is that people with pre-purchased tickets had an express line for entry. We had to wait (albeit not long, maybe 10-15 mins) in line with people who needed tickets still.
Martin Ramos
From photographs I had seen my 1-year-old granddaughter really enjoyed this place. So, while we were visiting I wanted to take her there to have some more fun and get to share it with her.
Rena Levy-Las Vegas Real Estate
Awesome place for the youngest heart and four kids as well. So many activities for the entire family and especially for the children. We spent about two hours there.
Crystal Collins
Great place for birthday parties. Great party room space. You have to use their recommended caterers for food and cake. They provide bottled water and ice cream. It's really geared towards toddlers, kids 10+ might not enjoy it as much (my opinion)
Melanie White
Omg we had an amazing time! Loved the kids could be so hands on! So cute to they had a Harry Potter theme and had want making, potions, and a station where you could make your letter from Hogwarts! Even had a photo op!
Sheiba Desta
This place is great!
Definitely a workout, plenty of different rooms to explore and enjoy.
My daughter and I will definitely visit again.
SAY AEIOU
We had a blast. It was our first time going and it was Superhero Day!!! I’m glad I read the information online prior to going because the lady at the front desk was unsure of the details. Therefore, I had to explain the process to a couple of other patrons.
EMPEROR Em
Great place for children to have a special get away and share various experiences with other children. The discovery has lots to do here
Kiki
First time here and it's a lot for just a day visit. All the rooms with hands on experiences leaves kids and adults entertained for hours.
Luis Chacon
This place is awesome, I know when you visit Las Vegas is not for kids activities.... But when you have kids you need to find something to do with them. This place is cool to experiment some science concepts and let them do with their hands. My daughter loved to be there.
Danny Elite home repair
Fun place for kids, tons to do and experience, my 3 and 6 yr old boys loved the place, never stopped playing. We spent 3hrs there and they could of stayed way longer lol. Only downside is you have to park in a parking structure next to the building but they didn't charge us for parking.
Shikira Plum
Be prepared to climb the obstacle gym beacuse they wouldnt allow my child to go in without me. So if you have difficulty climbing your kid wont enjoy that part! There were a few shows to enjoy! The kids love the waterworks. They got very wet so make sure you utilize the raincoats they provide or youll be in the bathroom drying the kids clothes off. It was all worth it tho!
cheng dalila
We went there every time we visited Vegas! 3 floors fun for all ages kids ! They have different classes for the kids. You can check and book on line or on spots.
Ytron301 T
That place was by far amazing the kids will get tired by the time you're ready to go there's projects painting a little water area coloring building things story time climbing very fun place
XoDestanie
Really cheap and lots to do for kids of all ages. Spent about an hour and a half with my toddler she loved it.
Ericka Miranda
The kids loved this spontaneous visit we were just driving by and just had to check it out. My daughter was the one who told me Blippi came here and she had to go too. The staff were nice and kept the place clean. Kids had a blast and so did I.
Bobby Alvarado TheFoodjunkiesLV IG
So many great places to spend some time with kids in Las Vegas. This place is definitely at the top of my list. Letting them explore and use their imaginations. My wife and I have taken our kids here a few times. I would recommend it to any family with small kids.
Oliver
Great place with multiple levels for fun adventures. Science can be fascinating for both kids and grown ups!
Jocelynn O.
This is a dream location if you have young children. As an adult, I also enjoyed everything this location has to offer. Three levels of playful and educational environments for your child to explore. There is also a 5 story climbing structure in the middle of the facility where children can climb through tubes and play with different activities on each level. I would definitely recommend visiting this place!
T
Wow what a fun museum! First- parking is really easy to find around the museum. We did a garage across the street and it was $4 for the 2 hours or so we were there. Entrance has a metal detector and guard. Lots of windows to check in. Appreciated military being free thru Labor Day 2021. They are staffed very well. There are employees everywhere you turn. So they helped us take family photos and also keep an eye on all the adults and kids. They also ask us if we need help. Also available at a moments notice to answer questions. We felt really safe and it was a great experience. There’s so many different areas and stuff to look at. We liked the water feature on the first floor. Really clean facility. Overall awesome and can’t wait to go back again.
Marra Lewis
I absolutely love taking my son here. I love so many activities that you can do. special events some days. just overall such a cool thing. I think every child should go there and experience it and I think every adult should too it's definitely fun for kids and adults.
review queen
The museum is great for kids, but there is nothing to do for adults as such. They have water play, puppet show and a big play area for kids, it was crowded though. They also have a dedicated toddler se tion. Def recommended for kids and kids only ( we went as a family, should have gone only as a kid and one parent)
Terrance Yu
Subtext: The Children Museum made famous by Blippi. All kidding aside, this place is heaven on earth for kids. Just the water play portion of the museum can suck up an hour or 2 of our kids’ time. There are lots to see and do and we easily spend half a day here. Parking is validated and you do have in and out privileges. The ticket is not cheap, especially if you have a higher ratio of adults to children since adults probably won’t get as much out of it but still has to pay full price. But the value of watching your children play joyfully through the museum? Priceless.
Donna Bryant
Had a blast with the grandkids not one dull moment. Staff was great!!
Sherri C.
A tad expensive, but, keeps the children busy, curious and going. Staff is young and sometimes, uncaring moping about. But I am sure the museum is getting what they pay for. Lots of things not working… it would be nice to see things fixed. Overall, we’d go back. Getting worn and old, ya know - exhibits/activities are same same as almost since day one. But it is the only children’s museum in town.
Cali
So much to do. The kids had a fantastic time. Can get very loud and busy. Very easy to lose your kids if they go running off. Easy to report a missing child and they lock all exits until the child is found which is good. Tons of activities across three floors. Save the water exhibit for last. The kids got soaked.
Shannon Rosendale
Lots of exhibits we didn't get too but the climbable structure to other floors goes on forever and my asthma was killing me. Kids had a blast just running around that and coloring alone.
Estelle Russell
Best children's museum I've ever been to and definitely worth the entrance fee!
Kawehi K
This place was beyond amazing! So many different things for kids to do. Dress up, arts & crafts, water play and obstacle course that goes up many floors... just to name a few. It was our first time there and my family loved it and my kids didnt want to leave.
Hand sanitzers is many places to make sure your hands can be clean often.
Absolutely recommend this place.
Taylor Gleckner
So much fun! So many things to keep the kids attention no matter their ages. I was entertained as well! Definitely going back again. This was a whole day thing so you are able to see everything and try out all the activities. Eat before you go. Bathrooms were clean and easy to find.
michael
We are visitors from out of state and this is the place to bring kids. It's so big and the play place supports adults. I'm 220 and I fit down every slide. I can't wait to come back and play again
Jared Jones
We had a good time here learning and exploring. My little boy is 3 and he had so much fun! I went right along with him and played right with him. With my help her was able to experience some exhibits geared for a little bit older kids. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
josh kwasiborski
This place it absolutely amazing and my kid loved it. I saw kids from 1 to 12+ having a great time. There was way more to do than I expected and we spend hours here. I can't wait for my two yr old to be a little bit older as there are some really great learning exhibits. Definitely a place you can go multiple time that your kids will continually love!
Minda Zhang
Too much fun my kids (7&9 yo) refused to leave … I wish there were sofas for parents to nap in 🤣 …
Melissa Fisher
We were here while on vacation and it was SO much fun for everyone in our group of 14. From the 6 month old baby, who enjoyed the toddler crawl area, to the 50 something year old grandparents, who enjoyed watching the grandkids run around and have fun. It was very clean and well put together.
Gwen Goetting
Great place to take kids of any age. Bring snacks as there's much avaliable for food.
kemp lamar
Awesome place for my boys to play and go bananas the wife loved it also
Jack Kassamanian
Wonderful museum to spend the day with the kids. We have 3 kids under 5 and they all had a blast. Plenty to do for all ages. Me and my wife were also pretty well entertained throughout the day.
Don Rico
Great place to let the kids let loose and get all their energy out. A lot of different stations for all different kinds of science and learning. They even had a Subaru exhibit to practice mechanics! There was also an arts and crafts area. The place seemed to be very clean and there are was staff everywhere keeping the place orderly and ensuring kids were with their parents. But some of the staff was not aware of their surroundings and would congregate in the middle of walkways or in the center play structure. I ended up having to tell them multiple times that they were in the way and should be courteous to the patrons. Other than some of the staff I love this place!!!
*PS. It's free for military till Labor day!
Andre Alexander
Excellent place for kids of ANY age. If you have a kid under four I definitely reccomend checking it out. Less than 20 bucks to make a wayyy memorable day for your little scientist. My 18 month old had a blast. We'll definitely be returning again (and again, and again.)
Famille Filion
My sisters and I had a blast. There were games for everyone and there was every type of activity in the building. I especially loved the place with the Lego bricks and the race track. I recommend this place if you have kids and a few hours to kill
Kat B
We went for a member event. We always have fun here, and there is always something new to discover. It has been fun watching my daughter learn and grow. She plays with some of the same exhibits in different, more sophisticated ways.
George Chen
The best toddler/whole family outing for us while visiting Vegas. The museum has three floors of fun activities for kids - all are well designed to encourage physical movements while stimulate the thinking / learning process. Our 2-hour visit went by in a blur - should have budgeted more time for this.
vanessa saldana
Very friendly staff.
The museum is perfect entertainment for my 2 yr old daughter and my 4 year old nephew. They even had a nursing nook that was comfy for my young baby and I. I will be returning to enjoy the museum again with the family.
Bebe Sarah Brechner
A great place for young children! So many activities, from an exciting water fun room to a multi-storied facility for climbing, sliding, and exploring. There are many learning activity centers, too. Spend at least 2 hours here.
Mike Roy
My kids and I have been members off and on for 5 years. It can be a lot better than it is. Some of the displays are non functional or just not intriguing at all.
They have a steady income of tourists who come 1 time , they won't lift a finger to upgrade improve the full time exhibits.
Suga Needs
They have added more attractions, military can get in for free. Parking is $1 or $2 per hour depending if you are in the parking garage or lot. Even for the price I think it is worth it. Lots to do, lots of space
Jesse King
My kids 9 and 11 had sooo much fun!! So many floors to explore.....We have to go back again. I highly recommend taking the time to look at the days you're planning to visit and see what's on their schedule. They have different shows and events plans to help educate and entertain all ages.
Kyler Christensen
The best place every for my sons. I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old and it’s nothing but non stop fun the whole time (well when we have to leave is different lol) We pay for the whole year every year. With covid going on the employees and volunteers are the best as far as staying clean and organized goes. 10 out of 5 stars if it was possible. I feel like a kid again when I go!
Jay Hendrix
The Discovery Children’s Museum is an amazing place, there is so much stuff and exhibits going on inside. Because of the current climate they are on a ten percent capacity so there is not a better time to take your family to experience. Just make reservations online before you go and you can have an amazing museum almost to yourself.
Natalya Raphael
Very nice! We enjoyed it as a family!! Ample free covered parking right next to it is a huge plus. No food court inside so we left for lunch but was allowed free re-entry.
Mo Jack
Went early on Sunday and not too crowded my son enjoyed himself. Things were constantly wiped down/cleaned even the costumes after use which was great. Sanitizer throughout the place and the bathrooms were clean. Mask were worn and kids were able to have fun safely. This place has three floors and and plenty to do if you can make it past the water room, my son didn't want to leave that place.
Scott Rieger
Love Discovery museums but this one was a little disappointing. The main attraction ( climbing gym ) was very steep stairs and metal which worries me about Childrens safety if they fell. We spent maybe 35 mins over 3 levels at this facility and spent $140 with drink/ snack 2 kids.
Aigiun Guseinova
The best place to take kids to challenge their mind, imagination, curosity and creativity!! Each time of visit definetely means a new discovery for them: in science, art, culture and other spheres. You can impress your little ones starting at the age of 2 and ending up with school years. Enjoyed the museumm greatly!!
Chase
Several floors of fun. Have a 6,3, and 1 year old and all of them had a great time. Don't forget to park in the correct parking on the south and validate it inside the museum.
Marie Mendiola
Took my toddler grandson and I don't recall having seen him have so much fun! There was so much that he was able to explore and play with. Def will be bringing him back!
gma Burkey
Another great adventure with my grandchildren ages 9 & 8 years old. Remember start on the top floor & work your way down to water play; or your kids will be WET for the of the day! There are hands on activities; jungle gym type 3 floor experience; pretend occupations; fantasy play in a castle or on a pirate ship with a stage is they can put on their OWN show with lightning & curtains! Or watch the digital activities like puppet shows throughout the day. REMEMBER you can get a family 4 pack FREE by using your library card at your local library, so don't let admission price stop you from a day of fun. Also, DON'T park across the street, but go around the corner for INDOOR parking & get your ticket validation inside museum (bring the ticket inside). Oh, and they have FREE water bottle refill stations, the kids will NEED to hydrate!
Pauline Prentiss
Good place for kids both fun n knowledgeable. Ticket can revisit/re entre within a day. Good for wide range age group, highly recommended
Isabel Ramirez
Loved this place. When we first parked. There was a family with the kids crying getting in the car. When we left. Our kids were crying to the car. They had so much fun, they didn't want to leave!
Natalie Branton
This is a great place for all ages! There is a 4 story tower that has fun activities at multiple levels. There are also 3 floors full of different exhibits and activity zones including a water section and a miniature "Eco" town with a children's hospital, bank, super market and cafe. The staff are friendly and keep things organized. The bathrooms are nice. There is a nursing nook for moms to breastfeed. There is also a zone for infants and young toddlers to crawl around in. This is one of the best kids museums I've been to.
Lovely Maldonado
Some things have been changed in the second and third floor, so wasn’t enough things to do for my toddler except for the beginning, the water place to play,
He has so much fun in there and that was all... after that my nephews 5-3 yrs old enjoy the rest of the museum!
bharath kumar
We are from bay area and we're finding some good place for our near to two year old. This is really great place for kids, especially between 1.5 to 5 yrs. They would love it
1. Parking, the garage is great with plenty of parking and it was free for us in the day we went
2. The place is very clean
3. Have a pair of clothes for kids as there are water games or have a rain jacket
4. You have three floors of learning n fun so have some time to spend
5. The staff is very friendly
6. You have to watch your kids but mostly it is safe
Olivia Ireland-Clayton
This place is awesome! My son who is 6 years old and I both had a great time. We started on the 3rd floor and worked our way down to the 1st floor. There is so much to do and many activities for kids. When you first arrive I suggest you get a schedule of the different activities they have going on so you don't miss out on art projects or interactive activities they have scheduled throughout the day. If you choose to visit here I suggest making sure you stay for at least 4 hours and arrive early because the place gets packed.
Lisette S
This is such an incredible place! Immediately when you walk in you can see a huge playground spiralling through the floors. Its very hands on and has many different stations of activies, depending on your little ones age or interest. My children had a fantastic time and can't wait for another visit!
Tena Birch
So much fun but it's exhausting running after your toddler lol
Christian McC
We enjoyed our time here spending about 3 hours exploring the exhibits. A ton of fun but it was pretty pricey at $14.50 per person, especially when 4 of the 6 of us were adults. Not sure if we'll be back, but I know my girls would like to return.
Florence
Heaven on earth for children! Several floors offer extremely immersive, interactive, and hands-on educational exhibits of all sorts like physics principles, design and construction, dress-up, stage acting, hospital clinic, supermarket, water (raincoats and hand dryers provided), huge play structures, and more where children can think, do, and wow themselves. During pre-covid times, you could buy or bring your own food and eat at designated areas on the 1st floor. During the covid crisis, my family which includes a 4- and 6-year old enjoyed a solid 3 hours here despite some closed exhibits. I super recommend this spot!
NOTES/TIPS:
**Validated parking available in an adjacent garage.
**Wheelchair-accessible, several family bathrooms, + a nursing/breastfeeding room.
**During the covid crisis, a couple of the more enclosed play structures are off-limits. Also, they provide plenty of hand sanitizer all over the museum. Masks required for all visitors except for kids under 2. They sell some if needed.
Dustin Wilson
Lots to do for kids as young as 3 years to 12 years of age. 3 story building with endless activities on each floor. Great learning centers all over building. Bathrooms on each level and a cafeteria on the bottom! Local discounts are given here, not too sure about military or medical discounts. Will be attending again in the near future!
Noemi Me
This place is great for kids a lot of different activities for children three floors. Very clean place and a lot of precautions workers standing around making sure not to many children in each room and workers always cleaning making sure everything is in order. Highly recommended
Patrick Ofenloch
Grandson had a blast, although dur to the pandemic the Summit and some other exhibits were closed. Wore the grandson out with a little too much sensory overload, however worth going back again.
Travis Richards
Great place. Our son loves it and always wants to go back. So a membership was the logical option at that point.
Betty
Lots of fun for the kids! Free parking in the garage. The exhibits are a lot of fun and safe. I recommend doing the water exhibit last so the kids won't be wet for the rest of their visit. Bring snacks and water; there is a nice big room to have snacks. There are some vending machines but choices are very, very limited. The big tower has very deep/high steps and may be hard for little/short kids to navigate safely; best for kids that can walk on their own very well. Unfortunately I didn't see any lockers but there are nooks for stroller parking. Bathrooms are on every floor and are big and clean. The Toddler town has a huge family bathroom but expect a small wait time. It can get very crowded mid day but otherwise it's a nice place for kids!

I'm 24 years old and I really enjoyed this place hahahaha. A lot of hands on exhibits for kids all ages. The main attraction to me is the water world. Grab a water jacket because water gets everywhere. We definitely had fun. If you find yourself coming here multiple times I suggest becoming a member to save money in the long run.
Maxine Rivas
My grand daughter love coming here she had such amazing time. And interacted with other children very well. Great place to keep your children entertained while you relax and watch them have fun and a great time.

The DISCOVERY Children's Museum (LDCM) is a 58,000-square-foot (5,400 m2) facility located in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1] Formerly known as Lied Discovery Children's museum, this three-story children’s museum is located adjacent to The Smith Center in Downtown Las Vegas.[1][2] "The mission of DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is to provide a vibrant and engaging experience, through exhibits and programs, where children from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds participate in playful learning experiences that ignite a love of lifelong learning
Abraham Torres
This museum is awesome! Great place for the kids, lots and lots of fun activities and hands-on workshops to get creative and learn at the same time! 3 stories of fun, can stay there all day! My daughter really likes the water room! Highly recommend it!
Darcy
This place is amazing!! My 4 year old loves it. There is so much to do you couldn’t possibly do it all in one day. Today we played in Water World where kids can learn about water, get wet and have fun. We made arts and crafts. Played dress up. Did some science experiments. Went grocery shopping. Worked at the hospital and the Cafe. My daughter didn’t want to leave. So glad we got the membership.
Leelee
Great place to spend a day, three levels of fun for different age groups. The center of the museum is a three story play structure, my 2.5 years old really enjoyed his visit and there were teenagers there as well.
Chavon D. Walker
My son had a blast. His favorite was the water play area. I enjoyed the extremely tall climb structure in the middle. You can climb the whole thing and exit to each of the 3 main floors.
Ari Merino
This place is AMAZING. 100% worth the trip if you've got small kids. It's laid out well and there's tons to do. Instead of taking the stairs, there's a structure in the middle filled with hands on activities that takes you up over three floors! We will definitely be back.
Skipstitch J
This was a great place for a family trip, I was impressed with how clean and neat things were despite the crowds of kids running around. Single day entry is high, the same cost for adults, kids, and toddlers/infants doesn't seem terribly fair, but if I was local I would definitely get the year pass. A lot of fun with the toddler and grandparents and a good way to burn off energy while staying out of the sun and learning some things too!
J M
Great place!! Kids loved it. Place is cater for 8 year olds and younger. Keep an eye on your kids. Very easy to lose them in the center structure. Saw several parents rushing around looking for their kids that left structure at different levels.
Dorothy Robinson
Absolutely loved this place!!!! Soooo much to do. Favorite place was probably the first floor. If you have you get children (toddler) then downstairs is the place for you with a water area and a toddler room. Although smaller children can still participate upstairs with the older kids. But upstairs is geared more for school aged kids. So much to do!!! If you're in Vegas you should check it out. 3 full floors of entertainment. You can reserve party rooms. And much more!!
MRS. KR
This place was so awesome to experience as a family. The kids had floors to choose from. Each floor had different level of activities. Every floor was clean and had staff along the way to help and keep things in order. This is a must a few times a year.
Marcelo Orellana
Our favorite things to do is take our children to museums on our free time. Where we live we have places like Kidspace, Skirball and the Discover Cube and our little ones love them, however after visiting Discovery Children's Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada we have discovered what we now cosider to be the best Children's Museum we have taken our little ones to. Very well kept, no outdated equipment, being a multi level museum and having twins and a toddler in their strollers is always challenging for us, but getting from floor to floor was a breeze because the elevators are huge. Parking was free on Labor Day weekend. We will suggest that you bring your own snacks or lunch because they don't have Cafe, but they do have a large eating area, along with sinks to wash your hands before and after. We normally point out one main thing we liked, but in this case we "Are astonished and amazed" with our experience here. Highly recommend to take your children here. Will not disappoint.
Kapre Carter
Me and my wife took the kids here to kick off their birthday weekend. And it was a blast. The kids absolutely loved it. Everything from arts and craft to kid versions of adult careers. Working at smiths, working at the bank, in a car repair shop, at the airport, in a childrens hospital taking care of babies, the list goes on. They even had a kids model of the raiders stadium. They allowed them to put on goggles and hard hats and build the stadium. They also have multiple exhibits. The kids will love it. I took lots of pictures so you can go through them to get a better look at the whole thing. Oh wait... The have a 7 story play area. And with each floor they have science exhibits from flight simulator to kinetic sand. (Which feels weird lol) take a look at the pictures. Hope this helps someone with any answers they may have. Wait ok this is the last thing. Parking is free. See ya!!!
Robby Yang (Robin)
The kids had a blast and refused to leave. Blippi was right - it's insanely fun, interactive, and educational!
Daron Aquino
It's a very hands-on learning experience for children. There is an area called Waterworks that lets kids play with water. There are raincoats available, but sometimes they are all taken or finding the right size is a challenge, therefore bringing an extra change of clothes won't hurt. Although there is a toddler place, I feel the rest of the museum is not the best at accommodating toddlers. Many of the activities may require you to carry you smaller child to participate. Fun place nonetheless and they have special exhibits that come and go during the year.
Michelle Banner
We got there really late and only had an hour to go thru the museum but it was great! My son has autism and is ten yrs old going on thirty😃... The staff was beyond friendly and helpful for the most part. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The security guy at the door was very polite. It's a wonderful experience for kids with sensory issues to help them thru situations. Very hands on stations with sound, air flows, pressure levels, slides, pirate ship, play stage and costumes, rock quarry, toddler stations, crafts section for both kids and a separate pretty much contained room for toddlers that wanna experience arts and crafts.
Just a really fun place to go and experience and enjoy with your entire family. My son loved the water room where you can play around with the water and cause and effects wind causes.
They have reduced rates to make it affordable to any and all who come by. You will most definitely get your money's worth, head on down there and enjoy
Bettina Citro
Very cool for all ages. I'm a grown up and enjoyed. It's like a big playground with play pretend businesses. If you have a baby 1 & up who crawls or walks like I do, they have a toddler area specifically and my son enjoyed it for what it was. Very cool. Will go again when my son is older so he can experience it again.
Kelsey Barbare
Great children's museum! It has been a favorite so far. The climbing tower that goes up all levels is really neat and even large enough for parents to go as well. My favorite part was the 3D printing room. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay long enough to use it but they do offer classes thought out the day.
Nika B
Great place to visit for families coming to visit Las Vegas or locals.
The staff were very friendly, engaging, helpful and energetic (but not over the top).
Its one of the smaller museums I have been too. It has three levels. Each level has about three exhibits. They have a very nice three floor climbing and exploration exhibit, this is closed due to covid. It looks amazing. They seem to have enough stuff so I don't understand why they cannot open this exhibit while promoting social distancing. My suggestion would be allowing a few kids and at a time and having them on a timer
Katie Williams
I've been to a lot of children's museums and I can tell you this is by far the best one. Most dont cater to little and big kids but this one does. Sure, 14 year olds may not get a kick out of it, but my 3 year old didn't want to leave. Every room has an attendant in it to make sure everyone is having fun, theres a bathroom on each level, and parents can get on some of the obstacles with the children. We were there for 5 hours and normally we would have been done in an hour or so. This place was awesome! Cant wait to come back!
Anthony Frazier
Perfect inexpensive place to visit for kids 7 and under. We've been to a few similar places all over the US and this one was just as fun! 3 levels of non stop things to do, not to mention the climbing exhibit in the middle of the building! (Don't let you kids room free, it will take a least 15 minutes to find them, ask me how I know, lol)
Eric Meagher
Very fun place to bring your child. Parking can be validated inside at the desk.
Forever Free
Super fun! Great place for hands on learning. Me and my little tot had a blast together. We will be going back and will be packing lunch to eat while we are there. If you haven't been yet.... I recommend going!
Marie Rizo
This place is amazing! My girls love this place! It's fun and educational. There are some really nifty things here that even I have fun with too! Locals get in for 13 bucks with I.D.!
Jesse Echevarria
First time here with my grandson and it is amazing, it’s all about exploration and understanding of how things work. There was 3 floors of exploration and hands on which makes it more surreal. Hera ha an amazing time.
cassie faturiyele
Loved it for my 2 year old. Hated that the elevator wasn't working but overall a great experience
Moriah
Would be cool if there was something for the very young infant bunch. Even if it's just staring at stimulating random b&w patterns or themselves in mirrors. Definitely not a stroller friendly place, yes they have a place to park and leave them, but sometimes you need to keep the stroller with you.
LOVEDDDDDDD the fact I constantly saw people going around and sanitizing / cleaning.
Tasha Coleman
The discovery Childrens Museam is a delight for Smaller Children. They say all kids can play along and Have fun ( which is true to a degree). my Grandson is 5 yrs old & he's nearly 5ft tall & he was struggling in the lowered ceiling rooms
Most of the displays & hands on gadgets were small for him . 2fr & 3ft children can have a blast . They have a water room & they provide slickers so the kiddos won't get too wet . They have a mechanic roller to roll under the Subaru & change the oil , Antifreeze . The have all sorts of Climbing Devices to Board the ship & u can have Sword fights with the Coup Pirates & the Capitan has a working wheel to keep the boat even so the crew can keep their footing . There's slides , there's a Glow room. Puppet show thats teaches us about the desert and the animals that live there , its very popular , free parking & very affordable. I highly Recommend this Discovery for children
Azela Albanez
My son loved this place, so much things to do and I was so excited when I saw this place be featured on Blippi! My son is addicted to Blippi so getting to see this in person was so freaking awesome!!! If you're visiting make sure to take your kiddos here!
Lamont A. Compton
This Place is a Must See... It's literally our Regular Go to. There's Fun, Excitement and Education all-in-one. ENJOY!!! You will not be disappointed.
Sandy
This is one of the best children's museum we have ever gone. If you go to Vegas with kids, this is something not to be missed. My daughter had a great time here especially at the water park and the toddler room.
Jared Erwin
Really cool museum! So much to do. Kids had a blast.
Valeria Torres
Clean, employees super nice and attentive with kids. We had so much fun even the adults were playing like kids in here! Awesome place for everyone!
Leah Young
My husband and I took our two boys who are 10 years old and 3 years old. Both boys loved it and had a good time. We stayed until the place closed and now my 3 years old keeps asking can we go back tomorrow. The parking was a bit confusing at first but once I figured it out everything was awesome.
Tami Combs
We took my granddaughters for the oldests's 5th birthday.... She and the 2-year old loved it. Especially the castle, pirate ship and Water World. So much too see and do....and I am not sure we saw and did everything. We will definitely be back!
One note to mention my five-year-old granddaughter is autistic and we went on a Saturday because I was visiting Vegas for the weekend. She absolutely had an amazing time and it was only after it got rather crowded in the afternoon that she began to be agitated and we decided it was time to leave. But it was an absolutely fantastic day and she was so involved and active and participating and interacting even with some of the other children which was completely awesome!
Clint Anderson
This place is awesome! I feel old saying this but I wish they had stuff like this when I was a kid. There are so many different learning activities that challenge kids while being so much fun. My favorite was dropping the ball into the whirlpool. From building to climbing, crafting to art there is something for everyone and then some. Must go.
Nina A
I have nothing bad to say about this Children's Museum. I tell all of my friends who are parents to take their children. I'm even getting my daughter to volunteer there. Soon I plan on getting a membership, great place to get out of the summer heat with the kids.
Jason Smith
This place is great. I have kids that span from 7 to 17 and they are entertained here. I even have a good time. There is plenty of stuff to learn and play with, they also change things up from time to time. Also, if you qualify for WIC or EBT, you get a huge discount for entry.
Nicolas Fleury-Brégeot
My two kids (6 and 3) had a blast there. They spent two jours going through the different rooms and areas. They enjoyed the most the room with water, the mini airport, the kids hospital, the pirate shop, the costumes...well the whole museum actually🤗 …
kibbL3s J.Q
Kids had a blast. Lots of activities and things to explore. Absolutely recommend for children and parents. I would recommend to bring extra clothes for the kids. They will get soaked after playing with the water works.
Opie Janzer
This place is a nice break from the Las Vegas heat. There is a large multi-level play structure in the middle of the museum. Something for all ages. We spent the most amount of time in the Smiths grocery store.
KM Sanchez
We visited the Discovery Children's Museum with our five grandchildren ranging in age from 2 years to 15 years old. We truly enjoyed our visit and were surprised that we were at the museum for more than 4 hours. This is a hands on interactive experience and each exhibit was engaging. When you first enter, there is a three story stair climbing maze where children and the more agile parents were enjoying the various out coves. There is a water area (small lazy river) where visitors can place their hands into the water and toss plastic balls into an aparatus that shoots water and the balls into the air. Raincoats are available for the patrons to use. There were stations where patrons could water paint, craft, participate in story time, and generate electricy. A daily schedule of events is posted. There is so much to do and our grandchildren definitely recommend the Discovery Children's Museum.
On the more practical side, the parking is across the street and very easy to access. There are very large elevators that accommodate strollers, walkers, or wheelchairs. Restrooms are on every floor which was convienent and there are infant/toddler changing stations. Since the museum is hands on, there is sanitizer throughout. However, I recommend that you carry your own sanitizer. There is no food available but small snacks and cold drinks are sold in the small gift shop. If you bring your own snacks or picnic, there are tables availble inside the museum on the first floor. Also, as a military family, we recieved a very good discount on the entrance fee.
Stephanie Grossman
When we lived in Vegas this was always a favorite spot for fun so I was excited to visit when we returned for vacation. Lots of new things and some old favorites. There's something for every age and interest. Plenty of seating in each section for parents or care givers to relax. Everyone had a great time.
Jennifer S.
I couldn’t get my son out of this place!!! LOL he enjoyed every minute of it! I recommend this place to anyone with kids , any age , to drain their energy. It’s an awesome way to add educational features for children. Two thumbs up!!!
Bebe Gurl
Fantastic place! Spent half a day there; however, definitely could spend an entire day. Plenty of fun and activities. There's even a coloring/art area. The shop, neo-care, and water areas were the faves.
The Discovery shop does have snack items; but, you can bring your own stuff. The parking deck is next door and is free with validation.
This was great on our family vacation; we stayed out of the heat, and they burned off energy. Will look into coming back in the future.
Alejandra Black
Wonderfully fun place for young children. Make sure to wear appropriate walking shoes, the structure in the middle has very steep steps. There are elevators to go up and down each of the three floors but most likely your children will have you climbing up with them. The areas with the tables to eat any snacks or packed lunch you might have brought is right next door to the gift shop. so be warned! 🤣 No need to pay for parking if you park in the attached parking garage.
S M
Vegas facilities catering towards children is far and few between. This Discovery Children's Museum exceeded all of our expectations, this place is even more fun than the other Discovery museums we've frequented in California. A must visit for all locals, get your family a membership.
VHUB REVIEWS
This place is great! I have 3 kids different ages & there was something for everyone. It’s definitely tiring but in a good way, it’s about 5 floors! There is so much to see & do. Each floor has different activities & lots of learning stations all over the place. If you have a wic card then it’s even cheaper for the tickets to enter. It was overall a great experience
Benjamin Pearce
This is an excellent fun, educational and family friendly place that i recommend for children and adults.
Andrew Norton
Great place for kids. We spent a couple hours there and didn't even go through every thing in detail. Our 3 year old loved it. It's geared towards several age groups. Staff was friendly and it was really clean. Something at would definitely do again.
G David Santiago
It definitely was very hectic most of the kids where ages 5 and younger jumping all over the place I would definitely not go on a weekend.
Lea Monique Yuson
My daughter loved it so much she didn't want to go home 😅 The most that she enjoyed was the water discovery part, I love how they provided little coats.in there ❤ …
Jin Bateman
Have been taking my daughter here since she was around 1.5years old and she's almost 3, she loves it and always has a great time exploring and learning!
Emerson Nuñez
My kids (11 & 9) had a good time here and spent about 90 minutes here. It's close to the outlet mall and the freemont area is close enough if you want to do other stuff as well.
Brenda Alejandro
My kids 7 and 2 yrs old had a great time !
Kimberly M. Moore
I loved this place! The kids loved it too. So much to see and do in the perfect amount of space. No long walks to anything or long lines for everything. I participated, climbed, crawled, pulled and played with and in everything with the kids and learned a lot too. Hours of fun!
Youme Noh
I'm a member of the children museum. My kids and I really like spending our time here.I think, It's the quality time in kids life. Friendly staffs are there and I think it's an educational playground. Membership registration fee is never wasteful.
Nat Hammond
Super fun learning experiences for all ages. My 10yo, 8yo, and 4yo all had a blast and didn't want to leave. They asked to go back later the same day
Lori Rice
We had a blast. It's so interactive such a great place for kids and those young at heart!
Day Trader
Very good CV-19 guideline adherence. Plenty of hands on staff. I would take my daughter again without hesitation.
Jarrod Worlitz (drgroovestarr)
What an awesome place! The kiddos loved it, we will definitely be returning.
Wendy V
Was so much to do! Kids had a blast.
ninett jaime
So much to do, and the kids have fun while learning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.
Mals Santullo
Its very great place to the kids alot of adventure
For my 6 yrs he really enjoy it
Tim Moore
I cannot overstate how much fun my kids had here! I have an almost 4 year old and a 2 year old with autism, and they both had such a blast. It is fairly expensive (though we happened to go on a day where Bank of America cardholders get in free, so that was awesome) but well worth the money. We'll definitely be coming back.
Sid S
You will need a stiff drink after being there with all the kids going crazy. Nowhere really to sit. Prepare to have to drag your kids out this place kicking and screaming
W Production
Great kids museum with TONS to do! I started taking my daughter there at the age of 2 (she is five now) and it still does not disappoint.
TIP: Buy a POGO pass on groupon for a free visit or use your Bank of America card on the first weekend of the month to get in for free.
thomas bascio
Just a great fun as well as learning place, for all that attend. So glad we took the children there. We all were first timers.
Joshua Seal
Great place for kids, with loads to do. It's quite expensive though, so make sure you get there early enough to enjoy the whole day.
Valery Springer
This place is great for a day trip full of learning and mental and physical stimulation. Our kids love it and my husband and I love it as well. The employees are very attentive and caring towards the customers yet professional and caring for their job and the facility in which they work. We just love it. Also the regular price to get in is really reasonable, but with my husband being a veteran we were able to take advantage of the special rates, which was the first time I have ever seen a "military discount" actually being worth mentioning. The last perk is that it's not on or particularly near "the strip" so it's all around kid and family friendly.
Rob K
We took the kids here on a Sunday afternoon and it didn't disappoint. It's a great family spot for parents visiting Vegas with kids. Parking was a non-issue (and free when we went) and admission for the 4 of us was under $50. There were plenty of activities for the kids to try. The Spy exhibit and Water World we're definitely the kids favorite. Go if you get a chance!
just me
My son had toooooo much fun here! He loved all the different areas and the water station was the last one for the day. I recommend bringing a towel for your car, maybe a change of clothes... they get wet!
Aide Williams
Great place for kids! Pros: Free covered parking, fast, easy and affordable ticket purchase experience. Clean and organized "learn and play areas", perfect volume of employees on the floor. They are helpful and aware of the kids and adults within their area, they spark conversations, are encouraging and recognize children's efforts. Easy to find restrooms and water fountain. Grandma needed assistance due to bad knees, they provided her with a large, comfortable new wheelchair. Areas for opportunity: For us, it was a bit difficult to understand the layout once we entered the facility, a small pamplet upon entering with info on areas to visit, emergency exits, available utilities etc would be amazing. Although wheelchair was easy to use, due to its size and the layout of some areas, grandma had to be left behind in an area where she "would not be in the way", watching grandkids learn and discover from far. Although not summer yet, this particular Saturday temps were predicted to a high of 94 degrees, yet the water fountain water inside facility was Luke warm? Really? Considering the weather and all the running around, cool/cold water would help both kids and adults. Last but not least, I understand this is a Museum and not a mall, I myself have visited many around the country and abroad, but even after a healthy nutricious breakfast, 3 hours later, kids were HUNGRY so we had to leave. A large snack, resting area would be great. Kids and parents could grab a snack, rest, recharge and be able to go back out there and continue to let the kids enjoy each area. If such area exists, we would not know since we could not find it in this perfectly organized confusing layout so unfortunately we left to a restaurant close to home. Perhaps too much to ask? But couldn't that additional revenue benefit the Museum? Other than these small issues, kids had an Amazing time and we would definitely rerun and recommend!
Jamie Reichmuth
Amazing! Affordable! Fun for all ages! We had a blast and will definitely be going back soon!!
Michael Yardley
The Discovery Children's Museum is multiple floors of learning and fun for all ages of children. Unfortunately for our visit one of the main attractions was closed, but there was still much fun to be had for all of our kids. Our kids enjoyed it all but especially enjoyed the water exhibits.
J Pokakaa
This place is great for kids!! Took a birthday party there and everybody loved something about that place! The staff was really nice and helpful. It was amazingly clean considering how many kids were there!
Thao Nguyen
Great place to take the kids. They have a lot to do for my 4 and 8 year olds. They spent about 4/5 hours there, and my kids usually get bored quick.
Leo Miller
So much fun for the kids and family:) there is so much to do, with friendly service and a safe atmosphere. I would recommend that if you have children and are in Vegas this is a must stop on the family trip or vacation.
Vybhav Dhar
Fun place with hands on science for kids. Engaging devices and shows to instill the spirit of scientific inquiry in young children.
Ben Evardome
I brought my 1 year and 3 year old daughters here and they both had a blast. Lots of crafts and interesting things to do and see and the playground is gigantic. They have a secluded and clean area for eating your food. They have a water dispenser so bring your water bottles. Also, we have membership to Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, CA so it was nice to be able to get a discount at this place. I highly recommend this place for your kids.
Rita Bradley
We’ve been here twice now and my son loves it. I think it’s more appropriate for younger children, but older kids can still enjoy it.
My son loves the water vortex, and honestly, the water area is probably our favorite section.
We bought our tickets online so we didn’t have to wait, and it just made the whole check in process easier. Also, the parking garage is free if you’re visiting the museum!
Mario A
It was ok, the glorified toddler room was a disappointment, was very sad and the best part was the water room, everyone there loved it until the lady came in and told us to stop playing with the balls, then after her outburst of saying stop with the balls the whole room was bummed out and mood was bad afterwards, first time there, a lot of games/interactive things were out of service, I'd rate it 2 but overall my 2yr old and 10yr old did have fun overall, it was 50$ for 2 adults and 2 children, I would not spend more for the annual pass, it is more like a one amd done type of place, plenty of other places that offer the same for less and have better workers with better attitudes, a lot of unhappy workers there just running around getting in the way and not showing what the rooms are about, just there to stand around lost and unhelpful. Sorry for the low rating, but not sorry. It was ok at best. Would love to see better employees and less out of service games.
Nelly Nelly
‘ This was our first time coming here, My daughter loved it! The place was amazing she had so much fun 😊 Everyone employees were friendly and helpful ❣️ …
Ryann Mossbrooks
I love that they have a small gift shop, I feel like it’s definitely geared towards 5+ however my small children also find things to enjoy there, mostly the theater but I think that’s the point. I always buy my tickets online it makes for a quick entrance especially if you don’t get there first thing in the AM the place starts filling up quick. They also validate parking which is nice
Jasmine Surratt
Have gone plenty of times before. This was my first time back since moving out of state. Loved how they added legos to water section. I did notice they clean the water section during a certain time frame. The staff is very polite! They have plenty of admission discounts, so make sure you check if you qualify for any before buying at full price. The admission discounts is honestly a great thing that they are doing! Our visit go cut short due to a fire alarm being pulled I believe. The staff handled that situation quickly, safely, and kindly!
lin zhang
My daughter had a lot of fun there. We came at 12:00 and she didn’t want to leave until 18:00 (close). She loves going through the tunnels with all kinds of scientific toys. She loves bones and told me how to distinguish males and females and her reasons were surprised me.
Casey Zhang
My kid’s favorite among all the children’s museums they visited. Plenty of things to keep little kids entertained.
Honnalora Hubbard
Enjoyable with several floors of education and fun. Perfect amount of staffers to be able to help visitors.
DB
I will be coming back to update and give a full review after my daughter’s birthday party that is being held at this location. So far, I’m not happy, but I’m not unhappy either. There are a lot of areas they can improve on for the Birthday Experience. The facility itself is amazing for people of all ages.
CUin CuFFs
Cute place. First time at this location. We could have stayed longer but didn't get there until 330.
Lisa B
This is my favorite place to bring my young children in Vegas. My teenager even found stuff here that she enjoyed. There is 3 levels with several things to do on each. The 2nd level has several areas of pretend play places such as a grocery store, airport, doctor office, bank, mechanic shop, etc. It is one of our favorite things to do there. Our other favorite place is a water play area. They dont have many food options, so make sure you eat before or bring snacks. They just have vending machines and a little store with deli sandwiches. We have been several times and never get bored. You can definitely spend the whole day here.
A Grandusky
Great day for all.
So much to do. ..3 levels of learning activities of fun!
There were not just locals here n out-of -towners but out-of-countryers 😉
It's a must see n do!!!
Your precious one can be a pilot, play in a tri-level climbing activity with SO many activities, there are chairs were they can raise themselves or get raised, be a pirate face, the water world is too much fun. ..AND there is SO much more.
Oh, until 22 January 2019 Sid the Science Kid makes 2 appearances daily, 12:30 & 2:30 in the Sid Room. ..too much 💥
Check out their website for prices & times...n go have a blast n a fantastic time.
David Hed
Fantastic space for the littles! All ages and abilities have spaces to explore and enjoy. Great place to get out of the Vegas heat and let the kids burn off some energy while discovering about the world around them and piquing their interest and imagination. Highly recommended.
Deanna Williams
It wad a great place for my 6 and under kids. Wish it was completely open but will try again after Covid has slowed.
Tom Kaiser
What a great place to bring your family. 3 floors of adventure for the kids, and mom and dads too.Very clean, well supervised. They could have more paper in the drawing areas for the kids. The water area was by far the biggest hit. If you haven't been, you need to go.
Ninja Vanish
Love this place for our kids! If you are local get the year membership it's worth it and the events are usually a part of the membership are discounted. Multi-floor levels of learning and interactive events all mostly hands on! Parking free but make sure u validate before you leave! wish there was better eating options on site to make a day of it.
Adam McKinley
This place is amazing and fun for the whole family. I took my 5 kids and my girlfriend on a weekday and couldn't hit all the displays before closing. I'd highly recommend the membership if you want to fully experience even half the exhibits as it's a multi day trip either way.

We have a curious and rambunctious 2 yr old, who enjoyed the second and third floor. The second floor is truly the best part of the whole museum, don't feel underwhelmed as a toddler parent with what the first floor has to offer. The only downfall of this whole museum is the crafts, which is always going to be a mess to maintain. It would probably be worth saving up some $ to reinvent those craft rooms into something else. Everyone would benefit from that! Is it worth the price? Not really. If you have a 2yr old and you're not a local or a member, I would wait until the toddler is a little older. You won't be missing much.

My son absolutely loved the place! He had seen it plenty of times on blippi and as soon as we reached the parking he was jumping with anticipation. He didn't want to leave the water world and kept on asking us to take him back there till he slept that night.
Mary Johnson
Came here for a birthday party and it was absolutely amazing. You get to stay in the museum for a couple hours after the birthday party and it was a lot of fun not only for my daughter, but for myself as well. There are a ton of different activities for the kids and adults who are a kid at heart from building paper airplanes to playing in water. It is an awesome place to go! Highly recommended to anyone and everyone! 5 stars for sure!!
Joleyah Liddiard
Definitely geared towards kids 5+ y/o but my 2 yo still had tons of fun.
Alex Chiang
We brought our 19 month old and he had a blast. He was just the right age to really start enjoying the exhibits. There's plenty of advanced stuff there too, which should be good for another decade of development, in my estimation. So much better than wandering around the strip or DTLV.
Jessica Holbrook
Its very expensive, especially paying for not only children but adults too. The kids had a good time. It seems most everywhere we went most the the young staff were having their own personal conversations and were sitting on and playing with some of the stuff. Which made my little one not want to go over . I did encounter a handful of amaxing staff inside the giant climbing tower, every time we went to a new level rhe staff was so nice and kind. But as far as the water room, music/science, grocercy and the theater area the young staff was not interactive, not social with anyone but eachother. Some of thwir personal conversations were not appropriate for the environment.
Dirk van de Bunt
There was a lot to do here for my 5-year-old granddaughter. We wished we had had more time. The only thing that would have improved the experience was a snack bar or the ability to get water or treats to keep the kids going longer.
Carlene Walsh
Been going to the old Discovery since I was a kid and love that my kids can enjoy this amazing upgraded version now. My 4 and 7 year olds love it and could spend all day here. One weekend a month gets free admission with Bank of America card (I think one per person with a card) and the library has a pass for a family of 4 to go for free. If you put it on hold, you can usually get it within a month and keep it for 3 weeks to come multiple times.
Lisa Wilson
1st time playing here. It was awesome! Our 10 & 13 year olds loved playing with everything, especially the center section that goes to each floor. There were tons of little kids, but there was also tons of space to move around. We're definitely coming back!
JESSICA M
Fun place. I liked how it used to be back in my days.
IndaGo Slime
Kids love this place. So much to offer both educationally and for play.
Kimberly Fain
Expanding community with the awesome giving program. Kiddo really enjoyed the discovery experience.
Mae Mae
Place is clean. Staffs are nice and it’s not overcrowded. My kids really love this place and the yearly pass is worth every penny.
Erin Davis
This place is AWESOME. They have levels and levels of activities, and they’re educational too! Lots of friendly kids and parents, and the price is so reasonable. This will definitely be our hangout spot for the summer! Thanks, Discovery!
M Aguilar
This place is so perfect for children starting ages 4 and above. They have so many activities. I bring my grand babies every year ages 9 and 11 and they have so much fun.
Ashlee Carlisle
Lots of activities for children of all ages . You can also bring your own food they have eating areas. Discount admission available for families that receive EBT benefits.
Shee Dcast
There are several areas with different environments, it is an interesting place for all ages.
Karla Goplin
This is our second time at the museum. We specifically went to visit the "We are not alone" exhibit. It was a definitely worth the trip. My six year old loved seeing her favorite Star Wars character up and close. We were pleasantly surprised to see a small interactive play area that displayed the Raiders soon to be stadium. Overall, fun experience for our family.
Wise Won
YOU WILL COME BACK! THE LIFE OF SCIENCE AND IMAGINATION IS BEYOND FUN
Eunice Ramos
Best one ive ever seen. My son had a blast. So many educational things to do here for him. Loved it.
Kushica Flowers
I really like the place, it was nice. I wish there were more places to charge the phone. I was working legal supervision, where I monitor families. I needed to charge as I sat and watched them, and I couldn't. They told me I had to sit downstairs. I can't of course, I'm monitoring duh..
Chris F
Kids loved this place. Very interactive! We had loads of fun.
Eli. F
So many great things to say about this gem for our local & visiting kids as a Parent. Educational. Clean. Friendly. Exciting. Colorful. CRAFTS. hands on activities. Easily accessible bathrooms all over. SAFE. Go try it out!!
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!” - A 5 yr old. “Amazing, best one I’ve been to YET, so many adventurous thing to do”- A raving 10yr/ almost 25yr old. “Aahhhguuhhh” - a smiling baby. :)
Diane Ecker
Wonderful place to take children. There is a wide variety of hands on activities sparking their interests. Plan on spending several hours.
Jeselyn Rose
Nightmare for adults when there’s a field trip. This is a kids haven though. Brought my nephew and brother. They did not want to leave. We spent about 3 hours there. A lot to do and is very educational. Gives the kids a chance to be creative in the LEGO area. I do not enjoy the crowds and the price is kind of high if you’re not a resident so bring one if you can for the discount.
Regina Remsh
These kids had a blast, so much to do, and explore. So glad we made it a part of or vacation plans.
Sean Lynch
Fun place for the kiddos, super busy though.
Elizabeth Hreben
Great place for kids! Still was able to keep a ten year old occupied, but I do feel like 10+ age they would start to age out of most of the play areas.
Melanie Rowley
Our family’s new favourite place. Something for everyone, even the grown ups. Leave the water play area till last as it’s far too enticing to stay dry!
Various themed areas, everything is interactive.
Staff are helpful and friendly.
The gift shop is a child’s dream - avoid if you don’t want to part with too much cash for cute teddies haha
Justin Montoya
Very cool place for the kids, lots of activities, things the kids can do like art and other hands on projects.
Nicole Gaudioso
This place is absolutely one of the best places to take your kids! I go here frequently, and the whole family has a blast!
The only issue, it gets super packed!
Mycki Manning Live!
We have been long time patrons of the museum. We had family passes when it was on LV Blvd, but this was our first time visiting since the relocation. I miss some things about the old location but overall it has improved.
Take extra cash with you, there are craft tables and add-ons everywhere. It is a cool place to visit but it may not hold your kids interest for as long as you want. That being said, it is worth visiting at least once. The water room alone is worth the price of admission. But be sure to take a small child with you since the funnest activities are for the little kids!
Yesenia Smith
Yesenia Smith is just my mom and I am 8 years old. This place is awesome. I am going today on 9/9/22.
Ajin Sato
If you need a place that's easy on the wallet that can drain the kids energy....This IS IT.
Sharon Sevachko
My 3 year old granddaughter had a blast. There are lots more things for older children as well.
Katie
Lots of variety and activities for any child's interest. There were plenty of opportunities for kids to create and then experiment with and take home.
Joshua Harrington
Get a season pass. Great value.y.littlemones never get tires of going there and for a summer activity out of the heat it can't be beat.
Taran Manciocchi
Always so much fun. Kids of all ages can find something they love here.
April C.
I got the POGO Pass with this, it's so worth it even you have to pay for the regular price. Oh, a day isn't enough for this place, my kids had so much fun here. They learnt new things here and honestly of all the place we visited here in vegas this is our favorite! It's a great place for a curious kids!
Ryan Moore
There was so much for the kids to do. They had a great time.
Nataly Marcano
Great place for kids, I went with my toddler and she loved it!
Krysty Gaytan
All I can say is bring your kids here!!
I have been to the previous one where it was on North Las Vegas Blvd. It is definitely a step up from the previous location. It's located right next to the Smith Center. It is right by the spaghetti bowl and close to the strip. Such easy access from the freeway. Parking here is super easy. At first I was scared when i approached the parking garage attached to the building since there was a ticket station but there is FREE parking. Especially with all the changes with paying to park at the strip and downtown.
The muesum is HUGE!! Soo much to do for kids. They have different types of exhibits ranging from language, music, science and art. Every couple of months the exhibits change which keeps it pretty fresh every time you go especially if you have a membership. They have a winding staircase that goes right through the middle of the whole museum and on every floor inside the staircase they have things for the kids to do. Beware as it can be tiring going up those stairs with smaller children but they do have an elevator to take you up and down those floors.
Every floor and every type of exhibits they have staff standing by, I never see that place a mess. And you think it would be with all those kids running around. They are very quick to clean up the station and to get it ready for the next set of kids coming around. They also are very informed on the stations they are in charge of. I find myself reading everything there and if I have any questions I can ask the staff and they actually know what to say or answer. I think it's funny because I enjoy the museum as much as the kids do. Now they do have a water exhibit as soon as you enter so some parents might want to avoid that one maybe till the very end just because your child might get wet. They do have cute little rain coats for the kids to wear but you know how kids could get around everything. I have come a couple times where some equipment is not working but by the time i come back it's up and running. They do have a small exhibit for toddlers and crawling babies. It's very stroller friendly on the floors also.
The best time to come are when everyone is at school which is usually Monday to Friday, the weekend seems to be usually their busiest times but if you show up as soon as they open then you might have a museum all to yourself until the rush comes.
The bathrooms are so family friendly I can take my two year old and five year old in the bathroom and the sinks are different level heights for me, my five year old and my two year old to reach. They are also very environmentally conscious and some of their exhibits will reflect that.
Between me and a couple family members we signed up for a multiple membership. So we get to take up to 10 people a day including the card holder. We signed up for our membership and December and we never got our cards in until March. They did say we were able to go to the museum and just present our IDs meanwhile we got the membership cards. And because of the inconvenience they cost they extended our membership a couple months which is very nice of them because they realize they drop the ball on giving us our membership cards three months late. This place is a great place to come especially when it's cold outside or too hot outside for the kids and you don't want them to be stuck in the house all day. After a couple times of using this membership it pays itself. It's so great for the kids to come and the house and unplug themselves and learn new things which I think is very important in a kid's development. Once my membership is up I will be signing up again. I can't wait to see what else does museum has in store for our city.
Ricardo “Rick”
Wow took 3 of my Grandkids, they had a Blast. 2 have been there before so they had there favorite spots. We had hours of fun lots of hands on things to do for the kids. Even I had fun but it was a work out loved it
Barbara Burkey
Start on top floor & work down to water play station (you'll thank me later). Make sure to create stuff WITH your kids. Yes, take some pics, but this is not surf web time. The more interactive you are = the better memories will be made. FYI: there is a locals discount + local library has a pass for family of 4 = FREE admission!
Andrew D'Alessio
Great for either very young or 5-10 year olds. Our 3 year old wasn't quite big enough for the older exhibits, but too big for the toddler town. Had a blast and will come again when she is older.
Kenneth Bautista
Great idea to treat the kids and explore the many different experiences to even jolt the adults even!
Rosie Farias
A perfect for children 10 and under. We spend 4 hours there and only left because it was closing time.
Ramon Allred
Our kids loved this place, we went there for the first time and it was a blast. The different floors have different activities and so much to do. You can spend a full day here and the kids still won't want to leave. I love that everyone was very helpful and friendly and I love that the equipment is big so parents can fit almost anywhere.
Savannah Marhx
My little nephews (ages 4 and 1) loved this place! We couldn't get them to leave... parent tip: there is a water play section so bring a change of shoes or save that part for last! Locals get a discount with ID!
Krista Hagstrom
I grew up going to this museum when I was a child so it was wonderful taking my son here yesterday. It’s received a HUGE glow up since I went as a kid. Much nicer location downtown and there’s so much for kids to do inside. We will be visiting again!
Stephanie Bernardino
This is a place to take your kids!! There are lots of things to see and explore and gives them different experiences.
Mario Guerrero
Me and the family love this place. The kids never get tired of all the different fun and educational things they can do here. The staff is also very friendly, welcoming, and treat the kids great.
Matt Collier
Our son(8) loved it. Lots to do and very interactive and creative with the setup. Easy way to cool off and spend 2-3 hours.
Jes Flores
This place was incredible. I came to visit my grandfather and we wanted something indoors to do with the kids and omg! They had an absolute blast. So much to do and such friendly staff! I just wish the cafe next door was open but regardless it was a great time!
Ruchir Mishra
Great learning for kids, however many small tools/equipment were missing from various activity sites preventing kids to understand the display. Overall nice experience for my 8 year olds. Place was clean & tidy 👌
Jimmy Latteri
It's a bit overwhelming with lots to do and see. Almost 'too' much. Good for toddler to 10 years old. Lots of fun, interactive exhibits. The water room was especially popular and fun!
Charu K. Midha
It is a fun place to be there at the Museum. My 6yr old did a slime Making activity and enjoyed all the artistic and scientific theme activities. There is a lot of other things for all age groups. The entry ticket is $15 per person and usually you can cover all of it between 2-3 hours. Parking is $2 per hour or $10 for the whole day.
Ryan McKeever
Many levels of fun for my daughter! Enough variety to keep her occupied for 6 hours and she would have stayed longer.
Sean Koon
My nearly three year old daughter loves this place so we frequent it often!
Sherri
Super staff, organized parties for your events, working exhibits... SO important for kids ... ya know, NOT having to explain why something isn’t in order? Last I was there, free parking in a covered garage behind the museum.
Grace “The Grace” Ehlert-Garcia
So many cool things here for kids of all ages. Be prepared to have to pry your kids from whatever they're doing when you want to leave. Be careful of other children their parent have not taught them manners yet..
N Koval
Wonderful place for the whole family. Lots of fun activities. I do miss a couple of things like the giant bubble from the previous location.
One Love777
This was such a fun experience. My kids loved everything about this place. There was so much opportunity for them to just be kids but learn and be creative. The stairs are probably the funnest thing in there, they take you to the different levels which helped my kids to become explores for the day! The staff was very friendly and they did a great job at keeping things clean.
Kayleigh Clark
Staff is super friendly, so much to do and learn. We take our kids Everytime we're in town.
Magnolia Bowen
We used to have a membership and went faithfully. It was great going back after 2yrs. My little ones didn't want to leave.
Jeremy Becker
Been here multiple times. Had to get the season pass. If you want a cheap nice indoor place for younger littles to go, this place it it!
Patricia Mildenberger
This place is incredible and so much better than the old location. My daughter and I had 3 kids with us, 5 years apart in age and there was somethings of interest for everyone of us. We all had to try everything and it was very fun and educational too. I ran out of time but I'll be back to see the rest. It's also very colorful and uniquely designed.
Zachary Butler Jr
Can't lie, I was more excited to be here than most of the kid's lol. I'm a bit of a nerd and this place didn't disappoint. Be sure to constantly dissaffect your hands tho because there's a ton of kid's running around.
Candy Fox
Terrific place for children of all ages. Clearly so much creativity was put into developing this venue. I highly recommend it.
Denicia Crutcher-Lyons
My niece had a blast here! Especially exploration of various careers!!
Kevin West
Wonderful place to take the family! I'm giving 5 stars because they validate parking that's super close, and the staff was very friendly.
Keith Volle
*WARNING* this place no longer has drinking fountains, even though their website says they do.
They do have water bottle filling stations. So unless you buy a water bottle there, or bring your own to fill, you have no access to drinking water.
Soh Far
I used to take my son there when he was much younger. Now that he is 9 years old, he still likes to go there for fun and play with other kids..
N F
Kids had a blast. Played and played. Watched a puppet show about desert animal life. Learned stuff. Totally worth it.
Karkala Smith
We were there, my kids love it. So many thing to do and activities. I highly recommend it
Pattie Kromrey
Great place for kids from toddler thru elementary school. Fun, art, science and activities
Lady Abbo
This was a wonderful experience for all of us!! If you have children it's a must...3 floors of learning opportunities!!
Marina Madrid
A fun place for the entire family.. It's also very cheap if you receive WIC or EBT😉They have a variety of interactive activities through all 3 stories of the museum. BEST PART was the Summit it's a giant in door jungle gym (it's plus size & tall ppl friendly) with interactive activities that works its way up through each floor. I'm 32 & enjoyed it as much as my daughter. There are elevators, & other stairs as options too.
Carlos Pulido
Came here cause our kids saw it on a Blippi episode. Such an awesome spot. You can practically hang out all day! Our kids loved it.
Loretta Marinelli
Very fun. Too much for one day. Great for kids of all ages and interests. They learn so much without knowing it.
Mr. Quacker
My kids still like it ages 7 and 11, but parents should not have to pay admission, or at least a reduced admission. I still hate the climbing structure in the center of the museum that has an extremely uncomfortable 1 ft riser. Forget trying to follow your kids if you have bad knees, or if you are short. Also, there are multiple ways for your kids to escape to who knows where if you don’t follow fast enough. I saw more than one child wandering around yelling for mommy or daddy.
ANNA McCulloch [Adams ES]
Phenomenal!! I took my 6 year old grand daughter. So so fun. So clean. Helpful staff
Angel Morrison
Great photo ops and way fun for all day enertainment indoors
Piper Benheround
We had a pogo pass so admission was included with our passes. Kept my kid busy for 4 hours and she’s 7. Probably would have kept her busy for longer. But the places closes at 5. We go about once a year to the Discovery Children’s Museum.
MaSoN jAR
Wonderful for little to big kids, adults have fun too
Roger P
Excellent place to stop by and explore with your kids. Plenty of things to do, thoroughly enjoyed the multistory jungle gym and different simulations (grocery shopping, subaru car mechanic, airplane cabin) on the second floor.
Reggie Reupena
Best Place 2 Have Your Kids Unwind!!! Highly recommended.
Crystal Gonzales
Absolutely loved it! It made me feel like a kid again! Lol My kids didn't want to leave but we didn't know they close early at 5pm. Highly recommend for kids and adults!
rebecka williams
Amazing! 14.50 to visit each, but if you have an EBT or snap card it’s only $3! That’s awesome! Something for all ages
Natasha Shugart
Funner for older kids, the cost to get in isn't bad but remember you have to pay for parking as well. Very busy lots of kids running around on their own with no adult supervision, which I get its for kids but if you are going to let your kids run around without you, teach them some manners at least.
Sahar K
the owners of this place very very friendly when my sister was due to their children we went and had a really nice play time for the children and we even had fun there very clean sanitized.
Pandemic
Myself and the kids had a great time. Go and enjoy yourself
Mike Packer
My daughter loved it... my only problem was it was really hott in there I was sweating after about 10 minutes of walking around but they have really good educational exhibits and activities... definitely going to go again soon
E. Hilliard
Yasss!!! This museum is very educational, informative, interactive, and FUN! This is such a great, fun learning experience for children! The staff is EXTRA FRIENDLY and thoughtful. We loved it.
Nicholas J
This place is awesome. We haven't had the opportunity to come here in about a year and a half two years and it's even better now. We spent three hours in this place and didn't even realize it because there's so much to do. The variety is undescribable. My kids love this place and more than likely we're going to become annual members because it's easy to get to and they really keep it nice. Plus they always have new exhibits. Just remember for right now bring your mask.
Stacy Estolas
Great place to take your kid. Very interactive. So many great activities for kids and parents. Does birthday parties too!
Ann Webb
So big and so much learning. We spent a good 5 hours there with my kids ranging from 7 up to 16. We all had a great time and will definitely be going again.
Crystal Merrill
I have been to the children's museum on multiple occasions throughout the years. Although I do understand we are in a pandemic I do believe it is unfair torture to children around the age of two to force them to where a mask while they're trying to play and have fun. I do strongly believe that this could have been a much more positive experience if my child was able to play freely and simply sign a waiver that I understand the risks relating to my child not wearing a mask in public. Despite the mandatory masks, my children did have fun for the first couple of hours until they got hot and sweaty and claustrophobic from their masks, I hope that some revisions can be made for future visits to this facility for the sake of the kids.
CHA Racing
All of the kids seemed to be having a great time. Plenty of things for them to do without having to wait in much of a line. The place is super interactive with some cool gadgets in there for them to check out. The only reason I rate it 4 stars is because it was really hot inside. I was literally sweating walking up that tower in the middle. If I visit again and it’s to a good temperature, I’ll re-rate it at 5 stars.
Sarai Christian
It was a pretty crowded Sunday afternoon but you could still move around and take turns with others there. Always so interactive and fun.
Dulce Sotelo
This place is awesome! 3 story museum Packed with a ton of information and cool things for the little ones to learn as they play! I felt like a kid all over again in this place. The amount of fun and cool activities that allow kids to get a feel and play roles of doctors, bankers, mechanics, scientist, pilots... so on letting their imagination fly at the same time is priceless! Recommend this place to anyone with kids, guarantee you they will love it. It's also very affordable, has a small shop for souvenirs and snacks. Small dinning area, very clean place surounded by other restaurants if choosing to go for a snack after all. Staff are very friendly simply an amazing experience that you might need extra energy for. Definitely going back with the family
Ernest Mesa
It's a really fun place with hundreds of things for small children and adults to enjoy
Darlene Rosenberg
Two things I especially appreciate about the Discovery Museum are the variety of activities and the attentiveness of the staff. I have 4 grandchildren (11,9,6,4). They all had a wonderful experience; the pirate ship, the stage and costumes, opportunities to express their creativity, the water area, etc. They have their favorite activities, but try new things each time.
The staff are helpful, patient, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and encouraging and close by.
Following the children from level to level is great exercise for me!
Martin Svärd Åkesson
Really great place to bring children, with lots of fun activities for a range of ages. The highlight is the "stairwell" in the middle.
Kealani Rogers
My Granddaughter had a blast and she is only almost 6 months old... She really loves this here toy, anyone happen to know where we can get one, it has no name on it and the staff isn't sure where it was gotten from either...
Michelle Dwyer
This is a fun place! Lots to do and see, and good for kids of many ages. Great variety of activities. Lots of learning opportunities. A little old for my 2 yo, but still lots to climb on and see. Some areas had too few props and costumes for kids to share probably because of covid. Grocery store area needed a volunteer to restock the food as kids played. Other than that, great place!
Rob Pierce
Still great, although exhibits are starting to show their age.
Armando A
Great place for children. The Water World was great for my baby, she were playing for long time. She wants to come back tomorrow. She had a great time and parking is just $2 per hour with a max $10 per day.
Bia Ramirez
This place was great! We were able to get in with a price of $3 per person with our EBT card. Fun time for the family it is extremely warm inside. did not see a lot of staff members, the ones we did see we're not so friendly. I would come back even plan a party. My kids enjoyed every moment!
Terri Trochelman
Let's start with admission.Bring in your EBT or WIC card and they will take off$$. Now I hate a dirty play space especially with many people playing. This place was clean no hard smells. Now let's talk safety.Mom quickly turns around to see where baby#2 has gone but baby#1 has jet to a new location.Panic sets in,heart rate is building and your thoughts of where is my child runs wild as you try to gather up your other child.Just as you start to yell out your kids name out of fear.A staff member says here's your child.Staff is walking up and down back and forth watching kids.Mom,dad, grandma or pops the staff has your back and your children's safety in mind. 3 floors of wonder, excitement and education. Now some show floors are closed not sure why but would like to know why. parking is across the building in the garage and yes it's 4$ per hr. Will I buy a Seasonal pass maybe I just would like to see a snack room or a small food court for kids who are hungry due to burning all them calories.
L Zan
Excellent place for kids and parents! Get ready to have fun!
Mary Edwards
Great visit with kids ages 5 and 7. They had a marvelous time and I enjoyed it very much too.
Niyah Oliver
I remember going to this place and it was like A DREAM! I loved the mini Smith's and water world! I definitely recommend this to you guys! This is a perfect place for a birthday party (if allowed) 😊
Hunter Labanca
It was a great experience for the kiddos as it was our first time there, we will be back again but during the week as I am hoping there will be less people. It was fun & if anyone wants to bring their kiddos be prepared to go thru 3 floors of interactive activities
Quinta'Nette Sharperson
Loved it, kids had a ball. I like how they how lil jobs for the kids and they csn create a bank account
Kiana M
My 22 month old has the absolute most fun. This museum has so much to do. My child screamed from excitement the entire time we were there. I would love to go at least twice a month if not more. Highly recommend.
Luke Vickers
We spent the best part of the day here and there was a lot to do for both my 12 and 5 year olds. The structures and slides are accessable for able bodied adults to follow their children around to keep an eye on them. There was no where to eat at the museum even though the discovery store advertised over the pa system that they sold snacks. A staff member told me a good spot to eat where there wasn't any other people so that helped when the youngest want the snacks offered. Overall a fun day for the kids, the staff were friendly and polite and the museum was clean and safe. Addition of a specified area to eat packed lunches would be a great improvement.
Carolyn Hartman
Last time I went I was super disappointed, the workers were more interested in socializing. Being annoyed with kids being kids! However this time, everyone was back on track. Friendly, clean, and my usual favorite place to be!
Lara Pellegrini
Great place to take the kids. I was there for a birthday party and the host was very enthusiastic. We made lava lamps. Kids love the water area.
Shea Werner
Nice place for kids, lots of activities, the staff is a bit caught up on their many rules
Bottom line your kids will really enjoy it. Adults will need some patience.
Jeremy Poore
My kids loved this museum. It was bigger than Ithought it would be and we loved how you can get to all three levels by climbing a play area. And the eco town was a lot of fun. My daughter loved brushing the giant teeth.
Mike Gallacher
One of the best children's museums we've ever been to. We were there a few hours and still didn't get to everything there was to do. Very high-quality and fun exhibits.
Jamie Miles
We had a lot fun! If you get Wic or food stamps entry fee is like $3
Lucy Sanchez
Would’ve given them a 5 star if it wasn’t for the security guard who was extremely rude about making my daughter wear a mask. I told her she had just turned 2 a week ago and has never worn a mask before. Wasn’t fun trying to keep her mask on throughout the visit when there were dozens of older children without mask on. She did enjoy all the play areas and art centers.
Katie Hackett
Our children (5 & 9) boys absolutely loved this place. They had fun doing all the exhibits and just exploring around. Fun to do for all ages. They enjoyed going from level to level. I liked how it was easy for parents to access everything and do it all along with your kids. Very interactive stuff to do and will keep you busy all day.
michael bauer
Great place for kids. Lots of activities to help them learn in a play environment
Caity Stackhouse
Packed with lots of family fun!
Yasmina Rivas
My kids enjoyed it and me too, staff super friendly,
Charlybrown “Charly brown” Renteria
Amazing place for kids to learn about alot of cool. Stuff totally recommend but is a little expensive
Becky Stone
We had a great experience at this children's museum! Even the teenagers had fun!
Affordable, engaging, and fun for all the kids.
Tricia Toner
My kids had a really good time it's a little expensive but you can spend the whole day there and the day I went parking was free
Yo Pipes
Awesome place for kids... Way better than it used to be. Michael is awesome with the interns and volunteers!
Joe Parker
My 4 year old had so much fun.. This place is filled with educational and fun things to do for children not to mention the adults can have fun as well
J Kim
A ton of neat things to see and do, expect to spend minimum 2~3hrs for the kids to play. Highly recommended. Next time I would prepare to spend 4~5 hours. Use Groupon for discounts. Premium Outlets is like 5 minutes away.
C Clement
Great place to take the kids. Lots of things to explore and learn for all ages. They also have special event to keep you coming back.
Rocio Cortez
Great for the kids. So many things to see and do. Had a great time.
Daiana
Our son had the best time!! The staff was very friendly. We loved it and will recommend this to our family and friends!!
david karel
We had the Best Urban Chamber of Commerce Meeting there and I learned so much about a wonderful learning experience for Children
Don’t pass this place up if you want your children’s mind is expand and have them learn
Kristina Broils
We went here with our Summer Camp for a field trip and our guides were so helpful! They set a great expectation and were close by to assist us for the entire trip. We took around 30 kids through the museum and had a great time! It's very centered around self-exploration but it's even more fun when the adults get involved! We took the new spy room VERY seriously and had an amazing experience! 🤣

My kids had a blast. Water games, puppet shows, interactive play structure, 4 floors of fun, and a lot of interactive building, and crafts. Also, for additional fees 3d printing course and wood engraving. Memberships start as low as $85 for 2 people, and $145 for 4 visitors and two guests and up. Come take a look, only $12.50 for Nevada resident, and if you have any government assistance, price is cheaper. If you park in there parking lot, you can validate parking ticket for free parking. Parking lot directly in front of building is not there parking lot. Look for Smiths and discovery parking lot.
Jeremy Warren
This was so much fun. Great staff and an awesome environment.
Randy Buck
We are Nevada residents so we got the reduced price tickets.
Jazmyne Drawhorn
The Discovery Museum was so much fun. All of the exhibits were interactive. There were several areas for arts and crafts and you even got to take home your creations. There is so much to do here.. we were there for about 3 hours. It was a great time.
Del Cabon
Great fun. We were there for an after hours adult event. This was a very cool place to have a corporate event. There is a lot here that acts to break the ice and make things more casual and team oriented.
We are looking forward to the next event.
Josh Baker
Honestly was looking for things to do in vegas while visiting family for the family. This place was cheap and entertainment for my 4 year old and entertained my nephews (ages 6, 12 and 17).
Desiree Bustos
You need a couple hours to cover everything they have to offer, about 4 floors of fun for the kids.
Galina Enev
Kids love this place! We go there every couple of months and 3 hours are not even enough for them and to play with all the toys and do all activities. Best place in town (and maybe in the country) to take your kids. They have a toddler room and stuff for smaller kids If your child in not 1 yet, they go in for free. The water room is definitely a hit! There is fun for all ages. Great place!
Olde Las Vegas Contemporarie XIX (Olde No. Nineteen)
Excellent place to take the kids for a full day of fun. It's also a lot of fun for adults also. 😏 …
Athiwan Hustead
Lots to discover and expected chaos with lots of children running around. Still great experience!
Sandra Cross
I love taking my granddaughter here, this is a great place for some quality fun and having fun learning. The children can let their imaginations run wild in the theater area and the water play area is great. I love that they have rain gear there for the kids. The themed areas are great and even for the young kids that are not that social, there are places that aren’t as noisy to let the creative juices flow. Great place for travelers to take the young ones so they can have a day for them, because it’s not too far from the strip.
Manuel González
My kids love this place. They have some exhibitions and kids can play over there. Recommended 100% for the families visiting Las Vegas.
Jenna Sparkle
I love taking my brother here! Theres a water area, playground, dress up area, slides, and they offer science, art and 3D printing classes!
Monica Jill
My 6 year old grandson enjoys all it and we have more to explore every visit and as he grows older there are more activity areas
Terry Archibald
This is a perfect place for the family! Hours of fun and free parking next door. Staff is great and helpful. Check out the daily events on the calendar. Bring a change of clothes for your littles ones because they will get wet in the water area. Bathrooms are clean, but bring your Clorox wipes for the toilet for added protection. Parents...come dressed for a workout..not for a play date. Gift Shop is kinda pricey and they gave snacks for kids. Best to bring your own. Get your tickets through Groupon. We will definitely be back!
Kenneth Chavez
Dope place for the little ones. They had a blast. Also if you bring food card (ebt, federal assistance food stamp card ext). It will only be $3.00 a person. Not bad for a day of fun with the kids...
Boosted_isb
Completely awesome, Fun for all ages even adults
Stefan Gomez
The kids had a blast here! It was such a great experience with so much for them to do that my sister and niece have already gone back again a couple of weeks later. They have air filters setup on every floor which is fabulous when a virus is AIRBORNE :). The staff was friendly, we loved it.
Jaszy Banks
Very fun place. Great prices. I just don’t think it was a good idea to go during the pandemic, it was our 1st time so we didn’t know excactly what to expect. 2of3 of my kids started coughing pretty bad shortly after leaving here. There were so many things they played with that were not properly cleaned (could be due to the over crowdedness). I wish we would’ve waited to go maybe at a later time.
Raymond Concepcion
I have a 6 month old, 2 year old and 8 year old. They love this place. We've been here multiple times and every time we come they're always entertained. A great place to spend the day with family.
Jamie Adams
We were stuck in Vegas for a week in late June to attend a competition. Luckily we found the Discovery museum. My 5 & 7 years had a great time! They especially loved the play structure that goes between floors, and the parachute section where you build things to test in the wind tunnels. We'll definitely go back next time we're in town.
Danielle
Great experience and exposure to science and learning things for my 3 year old! Lots of fun!!
Phillip Jackson
Awesome educational place for kids!
KERRI ANDERSON
OH MY GOSH! My kids had a blast, there is so much to do. My brother, kids, nieces and I went here for a get together with friends, I ended up buying the annual pass for 4 because it was only a little more expensive than that of general admission. I will definitely be going here again. It had friendly staff, but the games, activities, and just overall experience here is well worth it. My kids did not want to leave, there's a spot for toddlers, kids, older kids, different activities, and it's all enclosed inside of an air conditioned building. It was inviting, fun, exciting, and awesome first experience here. I will be back plenty of times to take full advantage of the annual pass, but also to get the kids interactive with educational games and fun. LOVE IT!!!
Elaina Crowley
There was lots of things for kids to do. It's quite the workout of the parents too lol. I was a little disappointed that they don't have any food other than chips and snacks for sale. And they say you can only eat in the hallways but they have nowhere for kids to sit to eat their snacks other than on the floor. Other than that we had a great experience
Dalyn Tardy
This museum is amazing!! 3 floors and hours of fun. I was so impressed with this place. There is so much to see and do! It's so stimulating, clean, and fun for all ages. The weekends get busy but now that school is back in, mornings are quiet and it's so nice to be able to explore. My daughter is 21 months and is able to enjoy mostly everything they have to offer.
Diego Trujillo
Great place for the kids. Whether you come in from out of town or your a local, kids will have a blast hear.
Erin K. Cleary-Parr
This is an amazing experience and destination for kids! Three levels of fun just for kids! There is a parking g lot that the validate for on Robin Leach Ave. They also have military discounts and we our visit was FREE! I believe they said it was free until Labor Day.
Alica McBain
It was my 1st time here and it was absolutely amazing. There is so much to do here. You can spend the whole day here and not get bored. They have a toddler area for the little ones. They do have 3 floors to explore. There is a snack bar, which doesn't offer much food wise it is all pre packaged and they also have ice cream. The gift shop is small but it is cute. I definitely recommend checking it out.
Dana VanDertuin
We had to visit since we saw Blippi had visited. So much to do and explore. My 3 year old had a blast. They unfortunately have a very strict mask policy for the children.
Ciara Snowball
My kids love this place! There is so much to do and everything is interactive. They clean everything really well, and everyone is required to wear a mask. The employees are all very kind and friendly.
Boricua Omega25
Excellent place to bring the kids 3-17
For the young ones their are levels of activities to do and let loose the mind to innovate and us imagination.
You can easily spend 2-3 hrs here parking out front cost but free parking is inside their garage on the side of the building.
Locals get a little discount they also offer memberships if you think you’ll use it that much. Restroom are pretty much located on every level.
The staff are friendly and competent knowledgeable. The view from there is also nice and plenty of shopping near by. Overall we have been there several times and enjoy and my little man Love it.
Shaw Cummings
My Son And His Friend Enjoyed The Time We Spent Here Especially The Water Part And The Arts And Crafts Area On The 3rd Floor.
David Hansen
First time visiting and was impressed. It's a wonderful place to take children and let them interact and learn. Despite the amount of kids running around (as they need to for the interactions and learning), they all seemed to be well behaved and supervised by parents. There was also plenty of staff around to make sure all goes well too. Parking was convenient in the structure next door and you get 2 hours validated with your ticket purchase.
Kim Paragas
A little crowded with kids today because it's a holiday, but it was so much fun. My baby wanted to stay in the water world so bad.
Carlos Andrade
I brought my 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter on a Sunday at noon. My kids had fun, but essentially it’s indoor playground. I thought it would be more educational but it did lack in my opinion.
There are plenty of floors to keep you kids busy for some time and if you are looking to try some place new I say go for it. Would I come back, probably not.
The restrooms were nice and clean btw. I paid $58 via their website. They do have some snacks but very limited. Bring your own snacks
Somphone Jaili
Amazing museum with tons of interactive activities. If you're bringing little ones I highly recommend wearing comfy clothes and tennis shoes. Lol You will be chasing them up and down them stairs that leads to different floors with indoor playground things to do. We purchased using Groupon and had no issue using them. Multiple bathrooms with lots of parking. They do have elevator for ones with strollers, also a nice little gift shot too.
Andrew
Very well put together and fun place for kids to learn and explore! My daughter particularly enjoyed the mechanic shop and the airplane exhibit. Highly recommend to families in and traveling to Las Vegas!!
WAI HE
Great place to take kids to learn a bit about science and just to have fun.
Andrea Ransom
THIS PLACE IS SO WONDERFUL, I WISH I COULDVE EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE THIS AS A KID. ME AND THE KIDS ENJOY OURSELVES
V F
Great place for kids. I took my son who is 6 and my daughter who is 13 and both had a blast. This is not the first time but it seems that for them, it is. My little one had a great time playing at the theater area where dressed up as a pirate.
There's a separate area for toddlers And they offer raincoats for the water room and you will need them.
They had different activities with staff helping them out create things, they had someone doing a science experiment so there was different things for every age group. You can also pay $3 for more fob 101 type of class.
If I were to go again, I would probably go anytime but mid-afternoon because it was packed.
Fabian
Great place for a family day lots of stuff for the kids and adults great for learning.
E-MAN GAMING
This place is awesome! The old one was great as well! There are 3 floors. There is a obstacle playground where you can climb to reach the other floors. It's a bit of a workout. At the top, there's a very nice view. This museum is very interactive and enjoyable fun for both children and parents. There is a nice seating area where you can enjoy eating your packed lunch and snacks. The gift shop is also very cool. The library offers museum passes for free with your library card! It's a neat thing that is available from the library!
Dori Peck
So much for kids to do, great educational activities, and fun too! One of our favorite places.
Jason Millin
What a fun and amazing place! Kiddos love coming here!
Sandra Jackson-Oliver
Awesome, great for children of all ages. World class artist teaching children
Carry Oblon
My kids loved this place, great place to take your kids while you're visiting Las Vegas. Unfortunately because of COVID some of the attractions were closed but we were still able to see most of it. Such an amazing place with friendly staff and interesting exhibits. I would recommend making the reservations online beforehand though. I enjoyed it overall.
Fabian Bernal
Thank you Jessica for being an amazing Spokeswoman for the Discovery children's museum and for assisting me with my questions. I will recommend this activity for every parent that wants to have fun and learn at the same time with there kids 😊 …
Kai Grimmell
We go here several times a year and my kids always love it. They rotate/add exhibits fairly regularly so, even though I'm familiar with the layout, there seems to always be something new. Almost everything is interactive and I love seeing my kids love learning about science. It can get a bit crowded, but if you get there early you can see most of what you want in a few hours before it gets too crazy.
Viviana Duke
We LOVE coming to the museum. We are annual pass holders and love the member events.
Rachel Graham
My son loved this place. He is 10 and spent 4 hours there and still wanted to stay. I think this is the best children's museum I've been to. It had a lot of fun stuff to keep my son interested and me as well. I loved how there was so much staff around. They were everywhere and were always eager to answer questions and show us how an exhibit worked. I loved that there was a lunch room. Parking was so easy and happened to be free on the day I went. I'm not sure if it is always free or not.
Kayla (Kmoon)
This place is wonderful for child 9 and under. They have great labs and play areas. Pretend and water play areas. Great staff, and must see on a kid friendly vacation to vegas. $14 a person or $12 on groupon.
Kathleen Cortes Lopez
Great experience for my grandson. I can't give it 5 stars because for most of the day the elevator was out of order and I have a bad knee.
Robert Cyrus
It was fair place to take a kid. Not much things to do and many of them was out of service. Some tables were too high that only adults were able to play!
Water section was nice specially the cover was really helpful. There were plenty of paid parking spot. We paid 1$ for 2 hours.
Admission was resealable and employees were friendly.
Overall was clean and good for spending 30 min to 2 hours.
Tami DeCoster
We celebrated my daughter's first birthday there, and they did a terrific job! The party room was clean, and the staff in charge of the birthdays were very professional. Our guests had a great time at the museum after the party was over. It was a great experience!
Danny 2022
Lots to do. 3 levels, elevators, clean, fun, and great for families $25.00 admission for me and my Son.
