Reviews of Memorial Park
Lauri D. Bridgen
Beautiful remodel and addition to the old Memorial Park! Nice winding pathways, a pretty lake with cute Lilly pads and croaking bull frogs, a covered pavilion with a couple foods trucks, plenty of restrooms and water fountains, even for the pups! We did 4 miles today in the gorgeous sunshine, among the lovely flowers and great energy from everyone around. Parking is paid. They take credit cards. It was $1.00 for 2 hours. Highly recommend this delightful area. They did such a good job!

This is one of my favorite parks in Houston.
I come here so often and every time I do it’s clean and busy. I love this park seriously! There are so many different trails to go on and explore & I would say it’s pretty safe! You do have to pay for parking I believe but it’s no more than 3$. You should definitely check it out if you’re in the area!!
Kaitilyn Zepeda
One of my favorite spots to walk in the city! The walking loop is exactly 3 miles if you stay on the main path, and it’s a very easy walk. The park is very well maintained and clean, and there are nice amenities such as restrooms, water fill stations, and other facilities to enjoy (golf course, tennis, bike paths, pond, etc.). There are several access points and it’s located right next to the arboretum as well.
Miki Alex
An amazing park with walking trails and areas for biking. Bring your dog and explore. There are lots for parking. You must pay to park. There are restrooms in the Running Trails building that are very clean. The new trees and newly installed grass is growing beautifully. There are paved and unpaved walkways. You will enjoy your time here.
Victor Schloss III
My life changed at this park! Lost almost 40lbs coming out here daily as the sun would rise every morning. Run paths are clear. Easy on the knees. There’s plenty of runner, walkers and a few kids on bikes on the weekends.
Hector Rodriguez
We had fun coming to memorial park today. Haven't been here i. Over 15 years and coming here reminded me of when I was younger walking the trails and having fun.first time coming here with the family and they loved it. The weather was excellent today to hit the trails and explore the park. We will be coming here more often.

Memorial park is one of our favorite. Our summer evenings never complete without this great park. It has everything expected from infant to adults to seniors. Swings for infants(4), kids(8) & teens/adults(8). Covered why fully green, kids love to walk, run and roll on the grass. You can find tables where the family can celebrate and enjoy your dinner and snacks. Got a kite 🪁? Perfect site to fly it. The kids play area is the highlight. On an ideal summer evening, you can find 20+ kids enjoying kids play area which entertains every kids with it's seesaw, sliders, hiking, rollers and much more. Adults and teens can go for jagging/running. You can cover up to 5+ miles in single round. The park is so big. Don't worry about the parking lot. There's lot and you can find more spots when you go inside. Overall this is well maintained park to make your evening feels good.

Hands down, the best park to go when wanting to go for a walk or even relax and read a book. We’ve been living in Houston for a year and a half and I will always regret not taking more advantage of this place. Great hike trail and perfect areas to relax.
Chelsea Brown
My husband and I had a great time! We walked along the purple and yellow trails. I would recommend this to anyone who loves being outside! Bike riders are very considerate here.
Deniz
We love this park for many reasons. It has very clean and long trailers, good place to picnic, a lot of restrooms and drinking water stations and it is pet friendly. Bonus, beautiful flowers and lots of ducks and huge frogs if look carefully 😁 …
Delia Garcia
First time back after being away and it's amazing. But the red dust on the trails got my shoes dirty. Otherwise the trails and the park are getting updated. There are more water stations and benches than before. I also noticed more restroom areas and picnic areas as well as grassy fields to play, picnic or nap. I'm excited to see the final park! And my dog loved it too!
Rachel Salim
This is a great place to go with the family. I like to walk or run on the 3 mile loop. It is a gravel type path that has lots of trees and shade along the path. It does not allow bikes or scooters but occasionally there are bikers on it. It is kept clean and has plenty of trash cans, water stations and restrooms. I have not had a problem with insects and never needed bug spray on this loop. The parking is not bad and I always find a spot within a minute or 2 of arrival. There are some workout areas as well as benches, tennis courts, open fields and lakes to enjoy. This is a great place for a family walk, exercise, or my kids use it for cross country training as it’s close to a 5k
J Leng
I love this place! The walk/jog 3-mile loop is unparalleled in all of Houston. The recent improvements of the new restrooms, the new wetlands, the new land bridge over the tunnels, tennis courts, softball and soccer fields, picnic areas, volleyball, and all super close to the galleria shopping/dinning options, make this one heck of a great park.
J R
Sunday afternoon walk!
You can spend your full day here or just come to enjoy few hours outside!
There is a tennis and golf court!
Running , walking area !
Wetland boardwalk (little magic walk in a downtown Forrest ) !
roller and 🚴 area!

For everybody and every kind of day you wanna a have !

The Clay Family Eastern Glades at Memorial park has great walking paths with beautiful scenery. It is a popping place on sunny days; it is filled with runners, families, ducks, dogs, and events. Lovely for a Sunday evening walk around the lake. Also great to mention: They have nice restrooms and covered places to sit. Plenty of water fountains and even a few food trucks! The walking paths are graveled but around the lake is a wooden walkway. There is tons of parking all around the park, in the connected neighborhood, along the streets and of course, their parking lot.
Slim Shady
This park has so much to offer! There are a ton of trails (paved and dirt). Lots of picnic areas. This park has bathrooms, and plenty to explore. They just added a few trails that go over the road tunnels, and it's a pretty cool spot 😎 did I mention there is a ton of parking? Well there is! IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN, DEFINITELY GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT !
Francisco Lujan
Great park to walk in all of Houston! The walking is like about 3 miles, and it is an easy walk. The area is clean, and there are some amenities such as restrooms, golf course, bike. There are several access points and the parking it’s just $1 for 3 hours.
Maureen Travia
I absolutely LOVE it there!
I've come to look forward to visiting the lake in the early morning, just to be close to nature. So much beautiful wildlife all around
Margie Mae’d
We love the Memorial Park. Lots of positive people. So happy to see everything that they’re doing here. It’s about time!!
Truly a gem in Houston!
amber ybarra
Super cute, easy trails to bring your new puppies to. Older baby had to show the new baby the ropes. My suggestion would be to visit on a weekday if you can. Otherwise, this area of Memorial Park gets very busy.
John
Beautifully maintained park with lots of paths for running and walking. Plenty of wide open areas to picnic or relax in the grass. Clean and plentiful bathrooms.
Ramonica Caldwell
Great park for walking and running. The park is a 3 mile loop. There’s a golf course here, volleyball court, lake, bike trail…. Plenty of parking both free and paid. New features recently added definitely worth a visit!
AHMAD FARIT BIN MAZLAN
Big park. Nice to hang out, picnic, outdoors, bbq. The only problem is parking. Limited especially weekends and public holiday. Restrooms are available throughout the park.
Ross Dodson
This is by far one of my favorite urban parks in the country. For runners, having such a long 3 mile trail within the city is fantastic and with all the new amenities the park is building is only making this place better. As a long time user of this park, I’m excited for what is to come!
Alberto Maldonado
Omg memorial park is so beautiful. My girlfriend and I came here to have a spontaneous picnic after grabbing tacos from Tacos Tierra Caliente (which is a food truck by Alabama Ice House that you really need to try). It was a hot day but we still have a blast and it was a really relaxing ending to our weekend.
Vman Homeboycooking
I really enjoyed taking a long leisurely walk through nature. Being a high ozone day, walking beneath a canopy of trees and surrounded by foliage is probably the best place to breathe. The hours clipped away as I found myself taking pictures and enjoying the departure from city sounds.
Gioconda Tovar
Love Memorial Park. Lots of space and trails. Very good services (toilets, water, lost and found). Parking is easy, if paid is ~1.2 dollars for 3 hours.
Vanessa Loera
Oh what isn’t to love at Memorial Park! It just keeps growing and becoming bigger and better and different than any other park. The endless trails and beautiful scenery are beautiful not to mention the updated garden area. In my opinion I believe it’s way better than Central Park in NYC! And it’s definitely a great place for photographers!
Kriengsak Chaiworamukkul
Great to spend time walking around in the evening. Need to take a rest along the way since it was too hot. Nice photo spot.
Tae G
This is such a beautiful and spacious park. There are long stretches of sidewalk for those who like to run, while also having an abundance of green space for a nice picnic date. I honestly wish I would have decided to visit sooner!
Juzar Mustan
My favorite jogging/walking track in Houston. Lots of greenery, beautifully landscaped, a children’s play area and ample parking.
neda navidnia
The new bridge is great but I think it needs more items like some gazebos or shades, trees and plants etc.
The trails are cool and fun.
Donny
Nice park . Can't wait for construction to end to open the rest of the park back up. Separate trails for biking and walking. Picnic areas/ bathrooms in certain locations ,
Erika Toribio
Hadn't been here close to 10yrs. There are many (great) changes to the park. Great place to go walk, jog, people watch, etc. Absolutely loved the morning walks. Very relaxing.
Christopher Beltran
We had a Marines Strength test here and everyone loved it! My Marines have been using the 3 mile loop regularly and I highly recommend. Reach out to your nearest Marine recruiting station if you’re interested in joining on the fun!
Jeffery Peralez
The changes to the park are so nice. If you haven't been to Memorial park in a while you will be proud to see the difference.
Mariam Othman
One of my favorite places in the city to stroll! If you stick on the main route, the walking circle is exactly 3 miles long and is fairly simple to complete. There are wonderful facilities like bathrooms, water fill stations, as well as other amenities to enjoy, and the park is very well kept and clean (golf course, tennis, bike paths, pond, etc.). There are several entry sites, and the garden is also close by.
Beer and Gasoline Magazine
Beautiful park. Love the new tunnels which make it super easy to cross Memorial Dr.
Sam Chen
This is probably one of the best parks in Houston. There are a lot of trails, and many of them are in the woods. There are also large areas for picnics. Parking is convenient
Rich DLG
Memorial Park has always been a favorite of mine. I live in the Montrose area, so getting here requires that I drive, which means it has to be worth the trek. It is! The trails for running and walking are really great, and the ones who use the trail are always friendly and respectful. The trail is invariably filled with exercising groups of friends (laughing out loud), families (with baby strollers), lovers (hand in hand), and an endless parade of dogs! There's a separate area for bicycles as well as off-road cycling, and that's really great, too. Overall, this is a great place to come for exercise, including tennis, golf, and even softball. This park is among the very best in the Houston area.
Rustin N
This is Houston’s best park aesthetically. But whichever non profit is managing it does a poor job. The restrooms are frequently out of service. Like every single restroom is out often simultaneously. If there’s a boil water notice you can count on no restrooms and no water fountains for a week or two past the notice being lifted. Water fountains are frequently out. It took them a whole summer to fix a water fountain midway into the park - and there are only two around the entire 3 mile running trail. All the parking lots are often closed to the public - one week in particular when the weather gets nice for an annual golf tournament. Guess golfers are so important they get to take over all the parking here. Overall it feels like a private facility and not a public park, with the ineptitude of city services.
Isaac
One of the best places to spend quality time with yourself or others. You can exercise along the track, have a picnic or just enjoy the view. There is no other park that feels as welcoming as Memorial Park! Benches for resting, clean restrooms, water fountains for you and your pets you decide to bring along. Little areas where you can have a grill set up...This park should be the go to park!
Kelly Heimlich
Wonderful. Beautiful. Loved it. If we’re ever back in Houston, we will definitely visit again.
Netra Charles-Malik
I love all of the restorations and the tunnel. It's an amazing place to get back in shape as well as maintain good health. It's also really relaxing if you just want to get outdoors and chill
Jackson Sophat
I just found out this park, and I'm loving it. There's a huge section blocked off atm, but I'm excited to see when it's done!
Nbetzy Guzman
I haven’t been able to visit Memorial Park for a while but this new update has been lovely to enjoy! It was a beautiful day and I had to get some pictures. This park it’s always very clean , restrooms are available. I like to finish my walk with a Smoothie King . I highly recommend you coming to spend a lovely time with family and friends. We expected to take a 45min walk only but it turned into more time.
Isabella Peckham
One of the best parks in Houston. They just redid a lot of things recently so it looks really nice. I usually utilize the 3 mile loop to run, but the other open grassy spaces are great for yoga, working out, picnics, etc. there’s great bike trails, dog friendly with dog water fountains, usually clean bathrooms, pool, tennis courts, restaurant, golf, etc etc!
Robin R
They have really improved & opened up this park. Enjoy all it has to offer, from open spaces to food trucks to sports related areas such as softball & golf. Lots of nature all around, so you forget you're in the city. Definitely recommend.
Li Meng
I like coming here for a walk/run, it’s well maintained and usually not too crowded if you don’t come at peak times. Hines lake is good to sit by and listen to frogs, watch fish and birds, water lilies are in bloom. Parking is easy, and even if paid parking is only $1 for 3 hours.
Margaret Hammock
I walk here about 4 times a week. It's quiet and lovely except for the people riding their bikes they will run you over if you're not careful. There are 3 or 4 trails one of them should be just for the bikes
One guy almost took out my 5 pound poodle. He was on a leash but because of his size I couldn't get him out of way fast enough. It's ridiculous how fast they go.
Marcus Castillo
1 word. ICONIC.
Come here if you want to connect with nature.
The park is divided into two parts, Memorial Drive being in the middle.
The Southern part is super woodsy and has a “jungle-like” feel, it runs next to the Bayou so you get some nice views.
The Northern part I would say is better for families, more walk paths which makes it easier and bigger space to walk...bring out the strollers!
There are also picnic area on both sides. Plenty of Parking, which you do have to pay for. Free parking available if you’re willing to walk a block or 2.
Great for jogging, bicycling, or good-old power walking. 10/10 recommend bring your loved ones
Krishna Paul
Great park for a walk! Very friendly towards pets! Multiple trails and parks with various lengths and functions! There are also food trucks sometimes incase you need to recharge! Definitely need to return and explore more!
Arthur Daret
Lots of trails to walk or run. Restrooms and water bottle refill stations, covered rest areas, make this the perfect place to get a workout in or a relaxing walk. Make sure to check out the nature trails in the middle of the park.
Binh Tran
Big park with ton of places for all kinds of activity. Recommended!!!
Stephen Chambers
Nice place to walk, jog, run if you (usually) don't want to share space with bicyclists. There's also shared trails that are good for cyclists and people on foot.
Lisa Diaz
My favorite parts of Memorial Park are the backwoods hiking and biking trails. It is fun to disappear into the woods for a few hours and escape city life. If you do and you are on foot, stay alert so you can hear the cyclists coming and step out of the way.
There is a wheelchair-accessible playground on the north side of the park that is perfect for children.
I would give Memorial Park 5 stars, but renovations over the last few years have significantly diminished the experience. Much of the forest, sports fields, and parking areas were destroyed to create two multi-million-dollar land bridges over the streets, a giant lawn area, and some ponds. In the heat of Houston, the last thing we need is more open grassy sunny areas. The plan is meant to give wildlife safe passage over the roads, but it also destroyed many of their habitats, so the actual benefits remain to be seen.
The construction also included some new picnic shelters and fire pit areas which are quite nice, but the other picnic areas are now severely neglected.
The park construction was supposed to be fully funded but it seems they underestimated by a couple of million dollars, so they have been having country club-style galas and events in the park to raise money. Combined with the newly installed paid parking at about $5 per day, the park is no longer truly accessible to all members of the public. There are a few free parking areas still available, but getting a spot is like a lottery. If you are not able to snag one, you might as well get an elite gym membership instead. These financial barriers to access are the biggest disappointment of all.
I hope that there is a plan to reforest the areas that were removed for construction, provide maintenance and repair to the picnic lane area and trails, rebuild the sports fields, and ensure that this beautiful public park stays accessible to all members of the public.
Victor Logmao
Seeing different caterpillars is exciting not only for me and my wife but also for my daughter. She can’t wait to see the butterfly house.
James Rosenthal
When in doubt...throw a billion dollars at it.
It was the best park in the city before the renovations. And now it's the best in the world.
I kid you not, I go to other parks and miss this place.
Golfing, Biking, Hiking, Running, Swimming, etc.
Jeremy Thompson
We came here to check out the Memorial Park Kinder Land Bridge and it was better than I expedted. It's got a nice set up and an small area that shows you what animals travel over the bridge. It's worth checking our and it's so cool that this bridge was made to help save the animals.
Claire
The new land bridges are a wonderful addition to the already massive park
Sara Hekmat
Lovely park to take a leisurely walk, especially in the evening. I love that the park is open and well lit until late, the restrooms are clean, the paths clearly identified. The shelters are well put together and attractive for events regardless of the time of day.
Mark Smith
One star off since being charged for parking is a burden for some people, especially those who don't have the parking app.
Otherwise, it is a great place to walk, run, and relax.
Dona S
A hidden treasure in H-town! Enjoy your exercise with Christmas lights along the way
Terri Griffin
If you haven’t been here ever or in a while, you should definitely come here for a picnic with the family, a walk, or a run. The Memorial Park Conservatory has done a beautiful job and they are still expanding. There are wonderful picnic areas and pavilions that have been added in addition to beautiful trail areas.
Beware that currently all the public restrooms are closed. There were a few port-a-potties which are nasty with no toilet paper so being tissue.
Also most people don’t wear mask as they are exercising outdoors.
Kevin Mouser
This was obviously a destination park for walking and running on a Sunday morning. The park was very busy. Despite that, it was a very pleasant visit and didn't feel crowded.
HFD Boxing
I have been running around this park for over 30 yrs. That sentence makes me feel old but ever since I was 15 y/o pretty much. It has only gotten better in that time. Can't wait to see what they do next.
Stanley Wu
A very good place, the weather is fine. Many people walk around the park, and kids can play on the grass.
Rosey Mosqueda
I have a tremendous amount of fun walking their running loop or even more fun hiking their trails. Parking is mostly free, just have to find a spot. People watching is especially fun as everyone that runs here is a solid super model. 🏃♀️ …
Kevin Gold
Blue path trail bike is a great starter path! The whole park is wonderful! A Houston bicycle must, weather you stick to paved shared paths or the various skill colored coded marked trails. Go! Now! Parking is everywhere.
galaxy Mafia
Spectacular renovations!!! Such a great place to walk! You can exercise. You can meander and reflect. I do miss the old park but it is much better now!
Aviana Kalinec
My favorite park in Houston. It's deceptively big, walking trail, biking trails, play parks, game parks and so much more. Love having picnics with friends and family on the grass. Parking is hard to find in some areas so I suggest carpooling as much as possible.
Steve Golosin
Texan style park. This means big and beautiful with a lot of parking space and trails to walk or ride. Part of this park is under reconstruction. Drive carefully and be patient. Part near golf court is under reconstruction, too (see pictures). Native grassland to is replacing ordinary park plants and trees.
Som parking spots are flooded after rain. This might be a problem.
Maricela Chavez Ruiz
Memorial Park is a great place to spend time with the family. The trails for cycling, walking and running are well made with flat surfaces It is easy used for handicap ♿️, It also contains a golf course, a gift shop and a restaurant. Wine is available for sale💪The pick nick areas contains an electrical outlet, wood grill, and walking distance restrooms. There is grocery stores close by withing 2 mile radius.
Scarlett
Loved visiting the land bridge on opening day. This park has so much to offer city residents. Highly recommend.
Tom Peacock
I attended the Land Bridge opening with several friends. Some brought their dogs. Apparently the park decided dogs were not allowed in the new area. This policy was not posted in a way that made it easy to find nor was it evenly enforced at the gates into the bridge. Because they passed through the gates.
Some friends were scolded by rude attendees that took it on themselves to be enforcers. One smart friend just replied it was a service animal to the self appointed scold and then ignored them.
How can the park ban dogs in a park that normally allows them? And without proper signage and enforcement?
Olga Gretskaya
Nice park! Love it! New
Haris Isam
Beautiful landscaping still under construction, parts of the park are being worked on. The East side opened and is amazing. Good walk ways, plenty of shade. Houston being so dry, flat and concrete, this place is a blessing!!
Brooke H
Visited the park today for the first time in years. All I can say is WOW!! I won't stay away so long next time to experience this gem. There is something for everyone here. It is truly a portal to somewhere else. Bravo Houston!!
joshua salter
Great park! Did not expect it to have what it did, bike trails for actual bikes. Course I moved here from CO so... Can expect my expectations but I was pleased and surprised. Bike rentals were fun to
Kiril Kundurazieff
Open air, nice trails, paved and not, close to nature, new restrooms and the newly opened Eastern Glades...what's not to love?
Oh, and when exploring Easter Glades do not forget to check out the 50 quotes in the paved circle of the central picnic area!
One of them is MINE! :-D
Otavio Maffud Cilli
Great park. Lot of space to play, run, walk, rest, etc. But because it is too crowded the park does not have park toys for children, so bring your stuff to play with your children.
Harambe Guy
They finished the land bridge! It’s hard to find solid trails in Houston, but this place has miles of terrain ranging from flat to steep uphill/downhill. My recommendation is green trail, although it’s primarily a mountain bike trail so I don’t recommend listening to music if you run/hike it.
Justin nicks
Nice place to walk, bike, or hike. Plenty of different trails, with different terrains. Do you want me to walk today we had to make walking sticks because of the rain last night the trails were a little muddy. Just makes it more fun.
Vishy raman
So much of green space in the middle of the city. Beautiful family friendly hiking trails ranging from half a mile to 3 miles. Watch out for riders in bicycle in some of the trails
Dave Jones
This is the best running/walking in Houston. Great place to unwind from your day, get a break from everyday thoughts, and soak up some vitamin D, and get fresh air anytime of the day.
Douglas Sweet jr
A gorgeous park. Nice for walks, runs or just a relaxing day out. Be prepared to pay for parking, but it’s understandable for that amount of people who come here.
Brick
Memorial park has evolved into the equivalent of NYC Central Park only IMHO, better. Running, Golf, cycling, walking, sight seeing, and most importantly people watching of the best looking people in the country. Pic no filter 👊 …
Pamela Gelormini
A beautiful park in the middle of downtown Houston. Can’t wait for the spring flowers to come alive
T Wadsworth
Great place to hike. The many trails do offer some challenges. And after getting in a few miles head over to the Arboretum for a cool down.
Stef P
Memorial park is really big with a running trail, golf course, tennis center, and picnic area. It’s a great place for somebody who wants to get outside and do some exercising. Dogs are welcome and there is usually quite a few people in the park on weekends. The picnic area isn’t bad either. They manage the park well and it is clean and the trails are clear of debris. There are plenty of trees for shade and benches for resting. The park is about to go through some major changes and I am looking forward to seeing them.
AJR
Great place for an easy walk.
Would not recommend with small children. Raised walkway through much of it without railing.
Sameer Syed
I go here for walking/jogging/running everyday morning. It's decent park where you see lot of people doing the same on a track covering 3.2miles which would sum up to 6000steps. On your way, you will see golf course, tennis court, resting spots, lot of greenery, water taps, parking spots(paid and free), etc., This is clean and we'll maintained park.
Apart from the running track this park has whole lot to cover with volleyball court, bicycling tracks, running trails, picnic spots etc.,
Ryan2009
Parking lot were crowded. Once get to the park, everything was fine. Even outside only 75 degree, still hot under the ☀️. Avoid weekend.
Chandra Savage
This place is an outdoor treasure. We are visiting and decided to do a morning Trail hike with @girltrek
Muthu Annamalai
Well maintained. The outer circle trail is 3 miles. The inner smaller is half a mile. We love this park
LeeAnn Culbertson
Lovely nature trails with a small education center where kids could interact with various flora and other wildlife samples.
Kat Spofford
Land bridgevis incredible, nice picnic areas, will be totally completed in 2028, but the trails are great, and it is a really nice social park.
Preston Gray
Have lived in Houston all my life but never visited memorial park until a few days ago. My fiance and I had a great time walking our dog through the park - It looks and feels well cared for and the various recreational areas were more than what I expected from a city park.
Veronica Quintana
I love Memorial. For walking, for jogging, is a dog friendly park, very big, there are trash cans everywhere; love the plants, the nature. Everything is well kept, except THOSE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CLEAN AFTER THEIR DOGS. It’s not the park’s fault, it’s the dog’s owner fault, I notice this happened more often after the pandemic, I wonder why?
abdulla alkhaili
Great walK ways I loved this park. One of my favorite places . It’s really natural connect .

First time I went I was turned away because there was an event & reserved. This was no advertised on the website. Went back to still try it, didn’t care for it. Live music was super loud & difficult to have conversation or speak to the waiter. Didn’t have what I ordered. Drinks & food unimpressive. Didn’t bother with dessert or a second drink. Left before the band was done.

Beautiful place if you like running walking tennis golf football soccer volleyball then this park definitely for you. They have all type of activities here
Alex Ochoa
Very nice and clean. Parking is a dollar per 3 hours and they offer alot of free parking as well. Its 3 miles around for the pedestrian side. That has to be my favorite thing. Not having to worry about accidents with cyclists. Seems like they are doing alot of construction and it's a little worrisome walking right next to the highway. But it's only a small part of the walk.
Tiffany Hill
Great place to run/walk. I'm loving the new trails and bridge.
Kelly Sauceda
This place is so amazing it was my first time coming here and I loved it! So relaxing and quite some of the view was so beautiful. Definitely will recommend this place whether you want a BBQ, walk the trail, or want to take the kids out. It has a little bit of everything!
Angelique Strickler
It’s awful the amount of trees they are cutting down daily!! So sad!!! With the massive piles of trees everywhere, I can’t imagine the nature that has been distributed!:(. We have always ran the bike trails here... it’s not the same at all anymore. From the trail by the running center you can now see straight downtown!! Why would you ruin the only wooded area left in Houston????!!
Gokay Aygun
It is an awesome place to run. I run almost 4 days in a week and it is always safe. There is a smooth house which opens at 7 am so you can get supply once you are done running or walking. I highly recommend to go there and walk or run.

The rain in Houston has truly enhanced the trees and greenery of Houston's Memorial Park. The tropical forest is re-emerging. I am motivated to read the history of Houston and Texas. So much life and energy are here in The Houston Metropolitan area, especially in the Memorial Park area. Many people exercise use, rest, and/or re-energize just by spending some time in Memorial Park.

We had a nice walk, great place for family, they have food trucks and we had a popsicle and walked around, great way to spend the day outside if it's nice in Houston
Kevin Hofacker
The new section of the park is incredibly beautiful with a walking trail around and over the pond and tons of spaces to play or picnic. There are also lots of trails to walk, run, or bike. Don't forget the massive sports complex for every and all sports you might want to play.
Robert Nodge
On Sunday afrernoons, weather permiting, I play volleyball there. There is plenty of shade and parking. 3 courts
Hannah B
This place is amazing! I loved how clean and quiet everything was, the gardens were so well kept and the boardwalks were entwined with nature. The park is huge, but every section was well preserved. The bathrooms were clean and the parking lots easily and clearly labelled. I can’t wait to go back!
Rola Al Sharif
Yoga, walking the dogs, BbQ..! Lots of things to do..
Check the new Eastern Glades for Dedicated BBQ spaces and learn more about Houston plants while having fun in this beautiful city best Park!
Roland Sanchez
I visit the walking trail. It feels very safe and during the day you can really enjoy the lake views. There's a running track and exercise equipment. It's right next to a golf course and a soccer field.
Marisa Rodriguez
We love venture onto the paths/trails at this park! Lots to see and do altogether. Great park for picnics and hanging out with friends or just to get some fresh air! Seems to be popular for joggers and cyclist too! Lots of amenities and so far we haven't had too much trouble parking even during busy hours.

I love this park but.. my car got broken into at memorial park (8/17 9:20-10:20 pm) right at one of the entrances of the Eastern Everglades. I noticed a MAROON CAMERO (could possibly be a challenger or charger, although pretty sure a camero; srry out of it rn) made two loops around the parking lot and after the car pulled in it stayed idle in a spot while I jumped rope, went to the restroom, and walked past it one more time (noticed the car was on and no one got out). I never pulled my bag out of the car, they just watched me open my passenger door before I left (I hide my bag under the seat). I have seen this car before here, just didn’t realize they were breaking in ppl’s cars & stealing things. If you see a suspicious camero parked w/ the car on, plz don’t hesitate to contact me or send me a pic of their license plate. They stole my tote bag and immediately put gas at a surrounding shell station using my debit card. I have never had an issue at this park as I come consistently past 7:00 pm weekly.
ps. They even made a point of stealing my jump rope; like why what’s it worth?

This is the "Central Park" of Houston and doesn't disappoint! The list of amenities is vast. From tennis courts, to baseball/softball fields, a golf course and driving range, a 3 mile crushed granite running track, running center, picnic areas, miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, a swimming pool, playgrounds, reflecting pond, and even a Beck's Prime steak and burger joint! My favorite reason to visit is the mountain bike trails, though. The trail system is vast with 10+ miles of trails with windy, technical bits, the ups and downs of the area by the bayou, and it's all well maintained by the city and our own group of volunteers from GHORBA, the Greater Houston Off Road Biking Association. It's a great place to take your family for a weekend grill out and picnic, for a run after work (there are lights on the trail), a round of golf, or just about anything outdoors. The city is on the process of creating a land bridge over Memorial Dr so the southern area near the road is temporarily a mess, but completion is imminent. There have also been plenty of improvements to the running and walking trail system on the north side with reflection ponds, quiet area for seating and watching the sunset. A true oasis in this big bustling city of ours.
Mark Anthony
Plenty of FREE street parallel parking on West Memorial drive. Very clean park overall; impressive since this place has a very high volume of visitors. I don't notice any litter. Clean private bathrooms and drinking fountains with filtered water. Have not noticed any crime. This place is in a rich area so there's enough police presence.
Myke Myke
Always a great place for cardio, picnic, and an amazing outdoor view. Plus the eye candy! Lol
Alfonso
Great place to get your hike or bike on. It has plenty of parking and the trails are awesome. Just be careful after a rain event since the trails might be slippery.
Y Z
Pretty calm views with some animals. The trail I went on was short but neat... I enjoyed the calm of the place.
Kiran Shinglot
A place situated in a city, and yet carrying you away to nature in company with trees, flowers, pond, alligators, frogs, and snakes, too!
Haider Awad
Very nice location for exercises and jogging today I was their in the morning and I enjoyed with great weather
Allen Acord
Lovely park great for walkers and leisurely stroll. I would not recommend it for runners, the ground is uneven in spots. I saw butterflies, birds, snakes and squirrels. There were raccoon tracks at several places and the park says they have some coyotes, but we didn't see them. The museum is nice with staff is friendly. I really liked the park.
Debbie Gubernick
Gem of a park in the heart of Houston! Paths for walking and biking make for pleasant strolls.
Cristina M
This park is perfect for jogging or walking and enjoying the landscaping - it’s so beautiful like a mini botanical garden.
vic
well lit trails to run on, even on these dark winter nights! long distance trails, mile markers, and stations of sports/fitness activities throughout the park.
Bryan Carroll
My favorite park in Houston. I visit multiple times a week to run the loop. It’s very busy most evenings, even on rainy days there will be someone out getting miles in.
I used to ride the park loop for bike regularly, it’s a closed road for road bikers. There are also extensive mountain biking trails on the south and west end of the park.
Margaret Gullion
Love this park - great running and walking paths, usually lots of parking available, so many native trees and other plants to look at. Very well managed and safe.
Mr. No Tengo Dinero
Beautiful nature in Houston! All those stressed people should come here and relax in the flat forest! Nice birds voices and chilling environment! Very lovely! Come and get relaxation!
Cheers
Viviana Vargas
The best place to walk, run, or just chill. Beautiful place!
Neacha Tashay Williams
Monica Bias did a PHENOMENAL job giving me a Tour today. Very knowledgeable and Professional! I will be moving very soon!
Raj Kumar
Nice place for jog/walk. Most of amenities are available Restrooms, Water, Car parking, Wooden path's, benches, resting place.
Dr. Kory D. F.
Beautiful outdoor space! Perfect for families, friends, and even pets! There are so many areas for sitting, snacking, and even multiple clean restrooms along the three mile loop! Parking can be tricky during peak hours if you’re trying to meet up with someone. But the overall experience is amazing.
Joshua Kaminski
One of the best parks!
Lots to offer and massive!
Focus on running paths
Billy Gibson
Its laid back and relaxing even during the early stages of the pandemic.
Lauren Baculis
Beautiful place to walk, play golf, or just sit and relax. Bathrooms were pretty clean for public bathrooms.

I hate giving bad reviews. But I think people deserve to know that the Houston Arboretum & nature center is not visitable at this moment.
We visit the center this week. I was a bit disappointed. The place was not as nice as it was a few months ago. Plants and grass were practically dead dry. The pond was very dirty, the Ravine Trail was closed even though the sign said it was open to the public. There was construction everywhere. None of this was announced on Instagram- is where I follow them and those picture they be posting are beautiful. Oh and now we have to pay for parking.
I know this weather is so hot and it doesn't help with the plants. I hope things get better in the coming months. Will like to go back because I know is a beautiful place to visit.
I took a nice picture by the pond. It was the only green spot we found.
Luis Daniel
Love riding my bike through here. I actually ride from Downtown to park which is about 5-6 miles. There is tons of room for BBQs as well as tennis courts that are about $5 per hour I believe. Tons of running trails but quite crowded on weekends
Natty Schnaider
Amazing place!! Fun, peaceful, always parking even if I have to pay $1.00
Dawn Singer
This a good park to go to but it needs grass cutting and some clearing out on woods
Victoria U
Omgosh, it was a perfect weather that day. This is officially our usual spot for a nice afternoon picnic. We loved the trees and the spacious grassy area to lay down our blanket. Thank you to the groundskeepers👏🏾👏🏾 …
Sarah Yip
This park is huge but pretty clean! I came here with my friends just to take a stroll and it was relaxing as we expected. My T-mobile phone had no service for the most part though, so I could not play Pokémon Go haha. But otherwise I was pretty satisfied with the park’s cleanliness, the scenery, the plants, and the facilities.
Ramanda Savant
Love ❤ our new memorial park. I love it. I'm a trail 🏃♀️ runner and love it. …
Angela Monsalve
Big and Nice place. The blue restrooms were discussing and dirty. The playground were not safety environments for little kids.
Robert C. Bell
The renovations are awesome. Only downside is they didn’t add any public transit, so the place is a park for cars.
Seán Murphy
Training for a marathon is so nice here. A runners paradise in the city and great people watching. There’s some lovely new gardens going in thanks to the Clay family and the Kinders!
Lauren Zinn
I love how the park has really grown. I wish there was more areas to park since it gets packed quickly.
MR “Al B”
A beautiful park! Huge and easily accessible. Love exploring this area.
ER Nurse Kay
I love this park so much. It is a 3 mile trail that I often come to for long walks. I am writing this review because I lost my keys and wanted to share that there is a lost and found on the trail. I am not sure the street but it is the one way right before the tennis court. You will see a wooden stall with the portal potty. On the back is the LOST AND FOUND.
Mel A. P.
Always a nice place to take in a nice run or walk. Also you can find lots of good spots to grab a shot or two.
Jimmy Vien
Awesome area to exercise, and especially to mountain bike! There are a variety of trails you can tackle on
JC Blackwater
Tax payers money finally being put to good use! Been coming here for over a decade, with my kids and by myself... seen it from gravel jogging trail to new bridges, night lights, new water fountains and well-kept landscaping. One of the few places where you're one with nature.
Sheba Forge
AWESOME trail. Great workout. Scenic View. Hike or ride your bike. Reminded me of Southern California Trails.
Randy Silver
Beautiful gardens to walk and enjoy. Free parking near by.
Great place for family photos, picnic blanket, or just walk.
Safe area.
Ethan Haddon
This is my new favorite park. The upkeep is phenomenal, the spaces are beautiful, and in my time there I didn’t swat one mosquito (knock on wood!) I love spending time burying my toes in the soft, soft grass and hanging out / walking through the many features the park offers; running tracks, baseball diamonds, fireplaces, gazebos, wooded trails, etc. Love love LOVE this park.
Robert S
A true jewel.
Memorial Park is one of those places where you could enjoy being lost in your thoughts, undisturbed, in a tranquil environment. A rare luxury in today's world with traffic, overcrowding, and modern nuisances.
Go for a jog or a walk or take your dog for a walk. Enjoy the quiet solitude for an hour or more. It is well maintained, safe, and family friendly if you wish to bring others along. Highly recommended.
Chris Patton
Fun spot to come unwind and hit some golf balls. Second deck is so much fun. So glad this is here!
Muneeb Rahman
Memorial park is my favorite park in Houston. If you love nature this is the park for you. You can have a picnic in the picnic loop, go running on the well maintained jogging paths, kayak through buffalo bayou, mountain bike on the trails, enjoy the golf course, or get lost in nature in many of the trails throughout the park. My wife and I love to bike around the picnic loop and hike the various trails. Take some time away from the busy city life and go explore the large park.
Pelin Tabak
It's a very nice and clean park.. Silent, natural and restrooms are super clean👍 …
Pavel Sidakov
Went to arboreal center here. Lots of greenery and space to walk and destress yourself. A very nice place when you need a break from the concrete jungle.
Gustavo Villalpando
The redo is nice, the greens are fast, the location is great, and it's a walkable course too. The staff is always excellent. Becks Prime is nice bonus for burgers and beers. Enjoy!
William Hagerman
This is a neat Park had a lot of people running and a long walking area. I think people would enjoy it.

i had a great time inside of this park! i found some free parking luckily and there was also some paid parking. my friends and i had a picnic here and there were a lot of bugs but thats part of the fun! being in nature and touching grass and having a great time with friends is what life is all about yo
Paul Rainn
I've enjoyed Memorial Park for over 20 years now. There are many miles of trails, even more miles of hiking paths, bike routes, and playing courts and fields, Onsite facilities such as Becks Prime, EV charging stations, multiple seating and picnic areas, plenty of restroom stations, and workout areas are all well spaced out and maintained. The area has withstood droughts, floods, and 2 hurricanes since I began using it, and the Park workers have done a great job with keeping things running in spite of all of the above! HPD patrols regularly, and are very visible during the day, but I have seem them patrolling past midnight as well. People can be found as early as 5am (usually exercise groups or clubs) and as late as 10pm there are still a decent number of fitness buffs out and about. Overall, it's a great part of the Houston scene, and lots of funds are being spent to open up new trails and renovate other areas, particularly the Arboretum, so there's lots of reasons to check it out.
William Robin
All I can say is go to the arboretum and go often, this place changes with the seasons and always has something to offer (birds, bugs, snakes, frogs, turtles, fish, and that's not even counting the education center). Incredible investment by the people of Houston to preserve a piece of what Houston came from.
Krishna Babu Yerubandi
I use the memorial park for my running and the trail is actually pretty good around 3 miles. We see lot of folks running around during the weekends from really really early morning to late night. Never felt unsafe.
Update: there was a lot of construction happened in the last few years. Still an amazing place for taking kids, picnics and running. The place also has places for golf, tennis and other sports.
Jesse A. Burgos
Awesome park to walk run or play golf.
Brian Holm-Hansen
Beautiful, well-maintained walking paths. Lot's of people out exercising and being healthy.
dylan kennedy
They've just opened the land bridges and new prairie area to the public. It really ties the park together. Check it out!
Eddie Loera
Very nice and quiet park. And "fun".🤭 …
J. BISBAL
Huge, lovely park close to the Galleria and Post Oak area, I have been coming here for almost 20 years, to run, hike, walk and eat at the picnic area. Many trees and plants were lost during the last draught and it has taken years to recover. Right now they are expanding the park and trails, hopefully for the better.
The only negative aspect is that one side of the park is right at the freeway so it is polluted and noisy.
The best time to visit is from October to April, afterwards it is too hot to do any activity.
Jeon
These long awaited renovations were really worth it, although most of them were planned to facelift the park for the golf tournament, it is still very nice to come here.
Lauren Aunty Alchemist
Fantastic free and fun!
Melissa McGaffie
Great place for my morning runs!
Frank Crouse
Been visiting this park since my early childhood. Love this place!
Rosealeigh S
Beautiful and peaceful. Very big park with lots of trails.
leonard bruins
For myself, the park is my special place to be when i study God's Word. It's part of paradise on earth because i can observe Him through the things He created as they out far above what's around them, therefore, i feel closer to Him.
Lindsay Kovar
I love this park and all of its trails. The one complaint I have is that a lot of people bring their dogs and don't put on their leashes. I am a dog lover so I understand this desire. However, there are people who don't like dogs, or have dogs that aren't comfortable with strange dogs (mine) or have small kids afraid of dogs. These people are not always comfortable around unleashed dogs and their owners may want to consider this.
Monica Roy-White
Unfortunately, many areas are closed due to Covid19 but it's still a great place to walk or take pictures.
Timothy Jackson
Memorial park is a great pace to visit. Its part of my route when Im riding my mountain bike. The main reason I go to the park is to see people actively involved in each others lives.
For most of the part no technology required.
I would suggest to anyone to go to memorial park.
D T
It's nice to see all the upgrades going on new spaces being put in. The only downside is that you have to pay for it, so there is now more paid parking than free parking spaces - I suppose it was too good to last. Parking spaces, paid or not, can be tough to find sometimes. Other than that, it's a great place to jog, play tennis, golf (if you can ever get a decent tee time), picnic, etc. The new land bridge and the wetlands park area good place to walk around.
Steven Cooley
Great place for almost any outdoor activity including exercise, tennis, golf, and has a great steakhouse. 3 mile perimeter walk.
Ashanti
Always busy there clean and everyone is nice.
Samantha Johnson
Fantastic park !! I regularly cycle from my apartment to the park where they have a designated cycle trail. Always lots of things going on in the park too
Tabitha Hightower
Beautiful park! Nice amenities and the bathrooms are always clean. Just be aware that the gravel/sand trails mean dusty shoes. It will be spectacular once the remodel is complete!
0verfiend 4 Ever
Not quite sure where the arboretum ends and this park starts as it's all in one large are. Very enjoyable place to take in some nature and clean air.
Thao Nguyen
Nice weather in Feb to be out at Memorial park, walking and biking trails :)
Doshi Darshan
Huge and a nice place if the weather is good.
Stephanei Fox
We walk this guy in the trail every Sunday rain or shine. We love the Park, the people who use it, and the unique features it provides everyone and anyone who wants to use it. I'm excited to see the land bridge get built!
Daniel Chang
When I first started running the trail the run trail sucked. It's amazing how much better it's gotten over 3 years. The Eastern Glades is beautiful and the addition of the land bridge will make this probably the best park in Houston.
Thomas W. Hibbert Jr.
Nice excecise retreat from the city stress. New " Glades ' area w lake, walk paths, BBQ picnic and treed and grassy areas for socializing. More major upgrades coming 2022.
javier rodriguez
Great place explore and walk
Robert Haynes
Nice walk around the tubes. Waiting for the big payoff. It should be beautiful!
Aigerim Iskakova
One of my favorite places in Houston! People come out to run or exercise. The running trail is perfect and it’s exactly 3 miles which is very convenient. People are very nice here and it’s safe to come in the evenings. It gets very busy on weekends. Parking is not a problem, there are plenty of parking spots.
Starr Pepper
Google maps satellite view isn't updated for location of the baseball field but it was a nice place to spend a day of baseball.
Very active park.
Raymond Lillard
Played Frisbee gf for the first time. Absolutely amazing. Had a great time
Augusto Guzman
Safe, beautiful and full of people at some times. Perfect for the evening runs and walks
Daria Lee
The new memorial conservancy land bridges are so interesting and very pleasant to stroll through
Anna
The Arboretum is my favorite city park. Considering it's in the Galleria/Memorial area, it feels as if you are in a rural area. The trails are marked and there are plenty of places to sit when you need a break. I love taking my dogs walking there. It's a beautiful change of scenery. Visitors are always polite and respectful. The only negative for me, is the non-existing garbage cans.
O Taylor
I love running this trail. I always see something new and the parking is cheap (a little over $1 for 3 hours). I pay via the app to keep it simple. I just noticed there are some ev charging stations further up by the tennis center so that's a perk I will use next time! Also the bathrooms are super clean and well lit.
Mrs Leo
I love this place. The picnic area was so nice and shady. Restrooms nearby, small ground BBQ pits to grill or you can bring you're own BBQ pits, picnic tables everywhere, the people so nice they gave us extra logs to grill with and we found parking close to where we were. I felt very save but, as soon as day light is gone it is very dark almost pitch black.
Virginia Means
Beautiful park.
Great for family events
Victoria Soriano
Well maintained park with sports facilities, multi-purpose trails, and great people! Dogs welcome! Bug spray is a must!
Tina Marie Carrell-Jones
I really appreciate the fact that the Houston Police Dept has officers assigned to the park itself. I feel safer now when I go to Memorial park.
Stephen Yang
Great for walks, the whole loop here is about 3-3.5 miles so it’s great if you want to get some exercise in. Can be a bit humid in the summer and there’s mosquitoes sometimes. But, there’s a nice small track as well as great tennis courts here too.
Libby Flores
The newer wetlands area is fantastic. Lots of areas for picnics, paved trails and fantastic covered areas to gather for your own special birthday party or event
Nancy Uche
I love the running trail here. It’s by far the best in the city. I have such a great workout every single time. This trail is pretty popular so there will be a lot of people out there and some with dogs. This park is so clean and well kept. If you love nature you will love it here!
Venkata Nagarjuna Reddy
Good for walks and jogging
Is very nice place
Jonathan Scofield
Great trails for running, cycling, and bird watching! Much of the parking is metered.
Mamacita
I didn't find much to do at these park. Just the walk trail. There is a golfing area, which is cool. But, not much foliage or entertainment.
Lourdes Fernandez
Memorial is a breath taking place ... I walk everyday over here and I just never get enough! ❤️
Kevin Palacios
One of the best parks in Houston hands down. There's hiking and mountain bike trails on one side or paved/gravel trails on the other side. Eastern Glades is a great place to lay on the grass since it's the softer kind and have a picnic. Also land bridge on Memorial Dr is one of a kind sight for the city.
RICK V
Thank you for allowing everyone inside the park while creating grand project I appreciate the freedom park management outstanding job !!!
G
Great public park.
It has a 1/4 mile track, and a 3 mile trail.
Golf course, tennis courts, soccer fields.
Smoothie king.
Numerous trails for biking and hiking.

You want to sweat those pounds and have a pleasant time doing it... Memorial Park is the place
M P (facedaace)
Great large park. Feels safe at dark and golf driving range is well maintained.
Nayeem Khalid
Went for Trail hike with a group of friends, some what challenging, depending on your fitness level. Scenery is amazing!
Jaci S.
Attended the global reddit meetup here this weekend. Very well maintained and clean park, bathrooms are actually nice for a public park. The mosquitos were surprisingly not that bad considering the rain we got. Brought friends from Beaumont to explore a little piece of Houston. They thought it was very walkable and beautiful.
Bernadine “Dee” Price
Seeing all the parents participating in their children life was wonderful.
Had a great time. And I give thanks to all the officers who gave their time and support.
Kismet Rall
Big and beautiful park ideal for family play, jogging, playing catch or just plain old strolling.
Berenice Ferrero
I love that you can practice any activity, have fun, go for a run or a walk, just talk, anything!!!
David Raines
I enjoy running the 3 mile loop as well as watching all the dedicated athletes who come here time after time to give it their all.
Sarge
My favorite place to go for a jog. There is a 3 mile long jogging trail, bike trails, soccer, baseball, softball, kickball, rugby, football, volley ball, swimming pool, bq/picnic areas galore, etc............. Seriously nice park.
Nayeli Lee
This park is great to get your health goals going. There is even a paved loop for jogging away from the full dirt running course.
Doris Itzep
Best park Houston

Can Take dog for walk
Has a beautiful lake
And a lot more
Hitomi Gantt
It was our first visit to the park and we enjoyed spending time at the picnic area. It took us a while to find the spot due to the construction around the area but now we know how to get there.
Umer Soomro
The new land bridge section is beautiful and will grow to be a beautiful prairie
Coronavirus BS
It's huge! Didn't really deal with any undesirable people!!
Charlie Morovich
I've driven through the park my whole life and this is the first time I actually stopped and got out. Went for my best friends baby shower and the pavilion was great. The trails looked maintained and it was very clean. I look forward to coming back.
Le Nguyen
Holy Mother of God! This place is awesome! It's like a huge tree filled, overrun with picnic areas, walking and biking trail infested, natural wildlife jammed place with so much to do. Even when it's packed with people, dogs and children is still a great place to wander, think or just people watch. It's like a wonderful, public garden or plaza or open playground. Like a park. It's a park.
Yuu Zheene Briit
This is just a GOOD place.
To keep it short and sweet, this is a great community gathering spot.
SJ De Jesus
Great park for a run/walk. Just Make sure you lock your car, my mistake didn’t lock right and had a few items taken from my vehicle on a sunny bright day.
Other than that it’s great place for 3mile run.
Mike Wallace
Nice park with lots of open space to roam and explore.
Burak Kendigelen
So much love, so much nature. Perfect place for daily exercise and weekend activities
Perry Willis
Did the three mile run and loved it.
Fay Li
Trails are in great shape and well mapped along google maps. Pup friendly if youre looking to do a little city hike!
Janna Charlton Webber
What a great place to spend an afternoon!! Beautiful place and the trail is nice and wide!
Vaiva Kulbokaite
Probably the best place to get away from a city without driving too far
Rachel Acosta
Not as famous as Hermann Park, but you have more space to your own and the running paths are a bit more innovative with beautiful scenery. Perfect for people who live close by, they also having biking paths just for biking and tennis courts which are $5 for an hour
Alexander Mickens
This has to be one of the biggest parks in Houston. So much space where even when it's crowded you can maneuver around comfortably. Baseball field, plenty of walking tracks, dog friendly, and beautiful scenery! And absolute spot to take your family for an outing or a place to regroup with friends. A must go
Sebastian Salazar
Amazing park 💯 great for running and hiking …
Saara Magueyal
My favorite park to run at! Love that the loop is a walking /running trail only. Was running here before the addition of the Eastern Glades area and was able to see the big beautiful change the park went through! It can be very peaceful in the evenings. The loop is very well lit and feels safe with people still walking/running at night. Lots of free and paid parking.
John
The bike trail along Memorial Drive was nothing to frown upon. Stay alert for hikers. Large roots, steep climbs and fast descents with sharp curves. Semi secluded but opens up along Memorial drive periodically.
Kevin Chance
Great park didn't even begin to see it all.
Jodi Fernandez
I've run on the loop at Memorial park for at over 10 years now and it never gets old. The trail is wide and not too busy at the times convenient for me to run. The people and dog watching is entertaining and l love seeing the variety of people using the trail. The recent renovations yielded nice green spaces where you can get tucked in and enjoy some outdoors time and not be totally on top of each other. Excited for the upgrades in the future!
Eric Nixon
They are really shaping this park up! New golf course coming in, Beck's Prime for burgers, Smoothie King, and a 3 mile running trail.
G G2
What's not to love? This park is absolutely amazing. They've done some tremendous upgrades and changes to it over the last few years. It's a great place to go for a nice long walk. You can get in many many miles here. It is safe and there are a ton of people there usually on the weekends but the weekdays are also solid with so many people working from home people are out getting the exercise they need or taking breaks to get away from the computer. It's centrally located and a lot of people don't realize that there is a Beck's Prime inside the golf building.
Juan cruz
Awesome park! The new glades addition is pretty cool. You do have to pay to park in the new parking lot but free by the jogging trail or across the street by the kids playground. The new construction on memorial drive can make it a little tricky but not super complicated.
LaRanita04
I like the grass always looks so fresh. The park is really clean and I like to see the pet owners being responsible and picking up after their fur babies.
Sergio DLV
Looking for a Great place to walk inside the loop. Try the Memorial Park Conservancy. Lots of shaded trails.
Melissa Davies
Large driving range with mostly covered stalls. You can buy range balls with cash or credit card from the ball machine. Good value to play (~$30).
Peggy Metcalf
Large wooded areas...plenty of shade. Great for a 5K walk/run to support the first PCOS Challenge in Houston!
Jose Azua
One of the best parks in Houston,to enjoy with family, exercise, pick nick, etc.
Nora Galvan
I always takey clients on a outing, this day was somewhat Oki the front seat lady asked my client to put up her mask! She did, while we were looking around in the gift section the ups lady came in with out a mask I noticed while we were getting ready to check out while she was having a conversation with the front desk lady and she never asked the ups lady to put on a mask, I feel they knew each other,I felt very uncomfortable because she never asked her to put on a mask
Belal Alfar

It has so many biiiiig big big open area's
The lake view owsom
The walk tracks so comfortable
Notice for first time visitors: you must pay for barking your car its 1 dollar for about 3 hours
Andrea Reynolds
Memorial Park has had a massive upgrade during the last few years. The new pond, decks over wetland (with placards) and airings parking have leveled up this park. The new plantings in the Glades section are just beautiful and create lovely green spaces for rest and relaxation. I've also enjoyed the food trucks under the pretty string lights in the trees. Great for a walk, big or run with family and friends.
wyndrider1
Always practicing my yoga in the picnic lane loop and take off from there as my starting point riding my bike around town. I enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Glenn Stenzel
Wander and get lost in nature . We all need this more every day. Beautiful and right in middle of the city.
Juank Ruiz Lopez
The beeeeeest place to run in Houston!!
If you are looking to walk or rainy for a race you have one of the most beautiful places to run
Reinaldo Medina
Best running trail in H-Town.
Lauren Matthews
Fun time. Go with a partner, a backup charger, and light in case you get lost looking for an exit. It got dark out before we hit the second closure in our trail - right before our exit. The trail map was dark and hard to read. This is a superimposed map of where closures were last night on the upper west side, along the Yellow Trail, and what their map told us. It would be slightly more helpful to use Google Maps with charted trails and edit from there than to use an area terrain map to chart closures. Also, illuminated light sources for map reading.
Laura Wilcox
Great park with lots of space to socially distance and run around.
Sandra Gnn
Houston has a world class park and the new pedestrian areas are awesome. There is plenty of seating for lunch or just meander around the lake. There is golf, basketball, baseball, volleyball, running, biking and more. The just opened areas are great for kids or dogs!
Sharon Hoyt
Love the new Clay Family Lake trails.
Nice, metered parking area til 9 pm.
Matthew Cook
Had an amazing time walking a few trails. So much to see, I will be coming back!
Samantha Strahan
Was nice. Charging for parking is a super skeez move though.
Bryan “Tekka Man” Ayala
Since the trails have been renovated with LED lighting, it's a great place to jog in the evenings. Some places still need more lighting but overall a great place for a run or a jog.
Angie Melissa Segura Hoyos
It’s a nice park with very beautiful spots
However it’s confusing for parking and you need to check before entrances and zones you’ll like to be at
Tinamarie T. (TINAMARIE)
Kids were bored. Needed a place to run around. Clean. Family friendly safe environment. Had a nice time. Wore the kids out!
Brian Hicks
Love this place! If I could spend all my hours on the loop or hiking trails, I would. This is truly one of the best parts of living in the city!
Naida Benavides
Go during the Day for sure! There is an area where they have public restrooms which are really clean. There is construction in some areas now on December 2021. This is a nice park to keep moving, exercise and break up the routine of an office, trafficet,c, etc.. The green areas have great maintenance and the courts just need a little bit of a care. The playground for kids is really nice, the trails are great!! Thanks God for the longe that brings oxygen to our city from so much carbon monoxide!! We need more spaces like this !!
Kreeft 23
Lots of trails. Beware of cyclists 🚴♀️! Area under construction. Parking can be reached and is free of charge. Start of trails behind the building. Bit difficult to find. We were lucky to meet a local guy who pointed the right direction. …
kara evans
Love the new golf course and driving range
Jester Tor
Wonderful Park to run or enjoy nature at its finest.
Lauren Elizabeth Netherton
I like walking here
Leon Schiro
I love memorial park good place to exercise love the jogging track has a lot to offer for alot of people even has a restaurant there.
padmalochan singh
It was an Art expo event in normal days it’s just a picnic park !!!
D S
I don't understand the appeal of this park. $5 to park and about as thrilling as walking through someone's backyard. I guess if you like long trails with little to nothing to see. Also, you can hear the highway no matter where you are, so it never really felt we were truly immersed in nature.
Kim Conroy
Great trail. Always busy and the renovations are so nice!
Shreya Gupta
The park is beautiful and so are the trails here. It's like a serene environment amidst the noise in the city. There are so many trees here that it feels very pleasant and there is almost always a cool breeze in the evening.
They have trails especially meant for running 🏃♂️ & walking 🚶♀️. They are not the asphalt trails, thus, you can walk/run for longer here compared to other trails.
L. D.
This is an urban oasis. They have a wonderful playground and hiking trails. We used to love hiking the back trails, but they are currently under severe neglect due to the construction of a giant lawn over the road. We will see how it turns out, but for now, I miss the wilderness and really don't love the lawn look. I am upset by the new requirements for paid parking in most of the park. This took away one of the last places in Houston that was a free, healthy activity. I don't believe public parks should be reserved only for the wealthy. Most people can not afford $5 a day ($100-140 a month) for access to exercise. This is the same rate as a private fitness club!
Monslisa Scott
Love, love love...the most beautiful park in Houston... And the neighborhood (Camp Logan) adjacent is amazing, desirable, gorgeous, in the heart of the city!!!
Carmelo Abaoag
Was there to play tennis and the courts are well maintained
Ashley Robinett
Perfect location in the midst of Houston! Purchased a membership as well. Gorgeous grounds!
Jeepgirl Queen
The only downside is that most of the parking is paid parking. All spots used to be free.
Elle Dee
Love this park, one of my favorites in Houston. It feels safe, clean bathrooms, and has beverage trucks if you need a drink or snack to cool off.
Alex Marinick
Best park in Houston, especially after they built that inner circle area. 3 mile outer loop, about a half mile inner loop (with beautiful scenery), and a option to cross over to the arboretum trails if desired. Free parking on the northern part of the outer loop but $1.20 for 3 hours in the paid parking. Best thing to come to in Houston
Adrian Allen
I love this place. It's Houston's "Central Park". Every few months I'm encouraged by a new level of development that is unveiled. The grounds are well maintained. This has been a Godsend during the pandemic when outdoor activities were so essential to physical and mental health. The park staff/ administration hasn't always been the best or most responsive to inquires, but considering the state of emergence the entire planet has been in about 2 years, I'll give them some grace and cut them some slack because despite all that's going on in the world, the park is still up and running and moving forward. Thanks City of Houston and the Parks and Recreation department.
Regine Lösch
It's a very nice place to walk and chill 👍🌸🍀 …
Iva Kinnaird
Second largest park in central Houston. It’s scenic with many different sections, ponds, fountains, statues, ducks, Japanese garden vegetable garden, a train you can ride on. Great area to walk and get some fresh air. I think they don’t allow glass bottles. Great place to walk dogs.
Pooka Alexander
Historical Park always active in the heart of Houston Texas.
Jonno Norton
Lots of free parking and walk trails. There is a lot of construction going on right now which is a little disturbing but it's nice to see major improvements coming soon. I still haven't seen all of the park yet since it's quite large. So far so good!
Pete Rodriguez (Meyerland Texican)
Great running path with plenty of room so feel comfortable not wearing a mask.
Free Batts
Love this Park! The more additions they make the more intrigued I get by it. It has a good trail for running/walking, great space for picnics and meditation, and the creative wall that displays cultural photography is amazing. Can't wait to see what they do next.
Sudheer Bhat
Nice and quiet park. Lot of shaded areas to save you from the scorching heat. Covered areas with tables and benches for a nice and quiet family picnic in the park. I saw a few people celebrating birthday party while I was there. Kids will enjoy the slides and other activities.
Rodney Davis
Outstanding! The park etiquette with the people is amazing.
Soni Joao
One of my most favorite places to jog in the city. Plenty of parking, nice trails if you want to run, jog, walk or bike. They have a golf course, restaurant (becks prime) and smoothie king. They've done incredible landscaping and improvements in the past couple of years to make it even more plush and appealing. I highly recommend memorial park if you want to enjoy great bike trails or running trails. Lots of people walking, jogging and running. Great place to enjoy the outdoors in Houston.
Michel Clickner
I love getting the kids out to parks. This playground could be better. It was not real fun. But we enjoyed our time out of the house. The trees were great. There were sitting areas. And we heard the church bells. Nice touch. Portapotty was gross but was glad to have something as we always need a restroom.
Paul Young
Great space in the big city. Fantastic 3 mile running/walking loop - path does get close to busy street (Memorial Dr.) for a while but rest is nice..some shady parts but mostly sunny. Lots of new (summer of ‘21) parking and changes are looking good.
David Sutton
Cool hiking zone for me. Good tree lookin at action.
Superwoman’s cleaning service Ayala
I love it good job City of Houston I totally recommended.☀️
Daniel Fiorillo (Danny)
Great park! Tons or walking, running, and bike trails. There is even a traditional track if you prefer!
Parking can be tough, and please make sure to pay for your space if you are in paid parking. They will tow you.
kunal aggarwal
Best Park in Texas. Good crowd. Fun place to be outdoors.
Hamada
For many years we enjoyed the park picinic area and used to stret parking anywhere for free.
Slowly slowly COH start adding those parking meters as we are not paying enough taxes . . .
Still love the park
Chris Michels
Great jogging loop, with water, good bicycle loop, with plenty of shade and a restroom with water on the loop, plenty of hiking and biking trails, and trail running trails, and to top it off, lots of picnic tables spread all over.
Luke Bonner
In the heart of Houston is this beautiful oasis of nature. It has nice trails, baseball fields, golf course. You can see turtles, fish, and wildlife. You would enjoy this park.
Navid Ahmadian
The park is so great and is an awesome place to do variety of outdoor activities. It is a great place to run, take a walk, ride a bike, gather with friends and barbecue. The park is located perfectly in the middle of the city and has awesome trails as well. There are still some improvements going on in the place so in some time soon it will be even a better place.
Paul Siwek
Looks amazing. Great renovation and addition with the Eastern Glades
Yousef Abuhalawa
Nice place to take a walk, it's a very beautiful place to get away from the city.
Leanette Serna
They have done A LOT with this park! The trails are dirt/gravel so not great for skates/blades/boards, but if you are biking/walking/running, it's a great little stop! You can enjoy the wildlife and the sights just minutes from the roar of the city. I recommend this park for anyone whether local or in town for a visit.
D Buck
One of Houston's best parks with great recent additions/changes.
David Baca
Nice place to escape the hustle of the city. Great jogging trails.
The bathrooms were horrible, they were open for all to see.
Becky Wilcox
Wonderful place for an outdoor wedding venue.
Jacob Galindo
Great extended park to go for a jog/run. Also includes mountain bike trails for all levels, gold course, tennis courts, and a track for any speed workouts. Also patrolled by the Houston Police Department.
Oliver Stewardson
Great vibe. The other runners really friendly. My dog was running with me and he enjoyed wooing and barking at the other dogs. The tennis courts were a welcome change as well. Love Ball girls
Alejandro Marquez
Best place to people watch. You can play tennis and there is a gym available for a small fee. The gym and tennis courts offer showers for 75c.
Bebe Ng
I always go to the Memorial Park Picnic Area 1 which is separated but part of the Memorial Park. Very quaint, less crowded, relaxing and safe place to bike ride, jog, run or just taking a walk. The MTB trail - Green Ridge Trail - runs along side but I find it too advance for my skillset! The picnic areas with dedicated fire pits and tables are well maintained however there's a lot of construction going on in the area so some sections are closed to the public. Can't wait for the renovation to be fully completed. It would be an awesome addition to the park system.
Israel Padilla
There are hiking/biking trails, children play areas, places for volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball, paved loop for road bikes, picnic tables, and BBQ grills. There is some construction at this time, but it's still a great place to go and spend some time with the family.
Fidel Castillo
A must go to place if you are visting Houston. Very nice park.
Mudasser Zaheer (MAZ)
The Picnic loop is beautiful and now you can even rent bikes
Shina Carbajal
Yes it's free just have to pay for parking space
Albert Marquez
Huge park thats every beautiful. Great for walking or running. Very green all over.
Mali Reed
Running at memorial Park is awesome reflective and terrific!
Pachelli. World. Fitness
Amazing new garden with pond addition to Memorial Park Loop. I love going here to relax and be with nature. Definitely one of the best ways to slow things down and escape the busy style of Upper Houston area. Usually has an active jogging loop also which is great company for a jog/walk. Highly recommended!
Robert Blakeney
New glades area is impressive. Nicely designed with walking trails incorporated well into the landscape. Public toilets were some of the best I've seen. Parking price is quite reasonable if a bit limited on space. However we did not have to wait long for a spot.
ehsan khorshidi
It's really memorial
Rasheed Kazmi
Love visits with kids! Play area is nice
Jeanette Chang
Nice massive park for a picnic on picnic ln, or a trail, or a walk in the arboretum. Bathrooms aren't well kept, take toilet paper and soap.
Matt Layfield
They put a lot of thought into the expansion and executed it quite well. The trail along the lake is quite serene and everything is very well-maintained.
Marcos A
This is a lovely park, with long walking trails, ponds and playground. It also has a Learning Center with fun activities for children. However, be aware this is the place where all the mosquitoes in the world live! Be sure to use repellent or long sleeves when visiting.
Chuck Towne
It,s a different view from mid to late 70's .too now .
Mark Snow
Such a great park! Very busy but a wonderful gem in the middle of the City. So many options - walking paths, playgrounds, tennis, new pickleball courts coming in. There are a lot of options here. You can really explore the park over several visits and never see the same part! A nice reprieve from the busy city.
Rio Foreman
Great place to get away and hike!
Patti Westbrook
A true gem in the heart of the city! PGA tour public golf course and driving range, tennis, picnic, walking/jogging trail, biking, natural landscape, arboretum, ballfields... So much to do and if you just want a quiet place to sit you can find that, too! Note that some areas have free parking and some are paid.
Martin _____
Seems that recently certain sections of the park have been renovated, to where there are now areas that people can relax together. What they've done looks beautiful, if you're wanting to spend an afternoon outside, with the option of going for a run on the loop, then this is the place for you.
m ray baptiste
Looking like nature intended. The park is serving a great need. It is improving almost daily. Good place to visit over and over.
Kaytlin Flanders
I have ran the 3 miles around this park nearly every day for over a month now, there are all sorts of options to change it up and lots of beautiful shade trees and different types of scenery. Certainly worth the walk or jog or run😊 …
Maria Barrios
It was wonderful, we had a great time there
Deana Rodney
Have not been here IN YEARS! New too me the Glades & sports fields. Watched softball tournament, learned about Gaelic Football & Houston league. Beautiful pics! THANK YOU HOUSTON & HARRIS COUNTY!
Matthew Pena
Walked the trails and visited the Arboretum Nature Center. Many of the areas around the trails are under restoration. Saw two pileated woodpeckers!
Siddhartha Sen
Beautiful outdoors experience. Double the size of Central Park NY and lots of activities to do.
Nilo Da boss
Great place. Saw a lot of snakes and lizards.
Janelle Jagnanan
Tennis club is great and affordable. Courts are clean and nicely redone
Elih
Great park! Love the trails. Such a beautiful day to walk
Dennis Barcelona
Wow, I had no idea this park was here. Lots of placed to walk, run, bike, etc. We walked our dog; had a great experience. They have areas for birthdays and get togethers; plenty of open green grass fields alongside large width path ways. Good distance provided as well; not sure how large the park really is; keeps going. Appears that it's still under construction. Only down sides is that you have to search for parking; then pay for it. There are machines for this; very easy to use and not too expensive. And another down was that I didn't see any free dog poop bags. I mean, if I'm paying for parking, you could at least throw in a free plastic bag for 3 cents. Other than this; great experience, great park. Looking forward to fighting for another parking spot so I can explore the other side once again.
Derrick Cisneros
Memorial park is steadily improving it's already impressive trails through several branches of wooded area. The park is very well kept and the users are seemingly respectful. Dogs are welcome, joggers, and most trails are very accommodating for strollers and elderly. Please keep in mind there is a small parking fee in most areas to help contribute to the park.
kanchana arimilli
Best place for evening walks and to enjoy nature
Anahy De La Garza
I loved it! So fun to see other people running! Restrooms are really clean and very nice! I was surprised. Also, there's a smoothie king (Nutty Super Grain is the best)!!
Hanna Huh
Eastern Glades is our family's favorite place to take a stroll. The kids love looking at the frogs, turtles, ducks and fish.
Javier Nava
Here are there operating hours cause the website is never updated. Facilities are fine. Just a personal bias against mats but it's beautiful in the middle of city.
Renee Flores
Great little park allows for to forget you're in the middle of the city! Recently renovated added trails with mulch for easy walking, signs showing plants animals and history of the area, and visitor center offering tours as well as souvenirs. This park has plenty of mature trees giving tons of shade. Definitely a family friendly park with gentle trails pet friendly but only 1 water station and restroom located @ visitor center.
Fritz Alexis
I love Memorial. You can do multiple things there such as walking, picniking, walking, play golf, biking. They have nice mountain biking trails as well.
Christyn Thibodeaux
First pony ride down for our 2yr old! This place is so laid back and feels like home. Everyone was soooooo nice. We went early morning mid-week and only shared the place with a few other families. That's perfect for us not having to stand in line or worry about social distancing!
This place is definitely age appropriate for the younger kids (not sure my 9yr old - going on 14 lol would have been super into it although she does love animals). We were so happy to feed and pet the animals. And we rode the pony at least 6 times. Thanks guys for being so willing and patient!
James Michels
Great burgers and dog friendly. Very nice!
Jason Spelts
Gotta love Memorial Park! Great place to do just about anything, or even do nothing!
Benjamin Cohen
Plenty of space for everyone to find a patch of grass. The low-light is that there is trash everywhere on the grass. Guess they're going to have to raise parking charges ... c'mon people, clean up after yourselves.
Ali S
I ♥️ new design.

I love this parks especially the trails. It's conveniently located off of 610. The 3 mile trail is great, I run it almost every day for my daily workouts. They also have a small 400m track next to the big loop for people who need to get in some speed work. The park also has stretching areas. This is always my go to park when I want to go workout.
Ted Diaz
One of my favorites. Very positive atmosphere. I feel like I am able to run for longer here than anywhere else. It is very well maintained and safe.
Matt de Rooy
Hess Corporate run to benefit the Park Conservency.
Tiara Lin
This running trail at this park is perfect for training. The loop is just over 3 miles long, and the path is pretty wide, which is great because the park gets a lot of traffic from bikers, runners, and families. Parking can be a bit tough whether the weather is nice or on weekends.
Audrey Koch
So beautiful and peaceful. Best enjoyed on quiet mornings
Kason Twitchell
Memorial park is so great and only getting better!
Erich O.
Nice and relaxing park to visit. The only issue is people bringing their dogs and not picking up their feces. Bad pet parents, you know who you are.
Danish Jafry
Huge park with something for everyone. Great for a run, night or day, you'll find lots of people running with you! Makes it feel a lot safer. Great spots down Memorial Dr for picnics with the fam, lots of trees and trails to get yourself lost in
Michael Stillwagon
Awesome park!! The running loop is now a full 3 miles and always smooth and fast! Through trees and native plants around the trails make it feel like you are away from the city even though you are in the middle of it lol. Always a lot of people running around and everyone is friendly.
JJ Canon
You must go! Take your camera it's an oasis in the city.
Stan McDonald
I volunteered for the Bayou City Arts Festival. Fun Fun!
John Long
Wonderful work being done to make this park the example for city parks everywhere. Love the way they are preserving Texas plants and wildlife while allowing us to enjoy them. A beautiful park.
Gabriel Vazquez
Visit the new place next to the golf ⛳ course, a relaxing place...
Parsa Mirab
February 11th the new addition will be added. I can’t wait to see it. I think it will be a must see
frank arauza
If you really want to get lost in nature place to go play Lost, 0 to 5 people in the distance
Tiffany H.
Love this park! It’s the perfect place to workout at and in the middle of Houston. If you never been, you have to go. Parking is usually good or accessible.
Aaron Smith
This is a great park, lots of walking jogging room, restrooms are clean and we'll maintained. I ride my bike through here all the time.
John Smither
We have the many Houston families to thank for the recently restored and renewed Memorial Park. It’s getting better and better every day. I am so grateful for the investment the citizens of Houston made to provide everyone a more livable and healthy city.
Larry Alexander
Great Park to Working Out🙏🆒⛳⚽🎾🚴🤾 …
Sean Ryan
This is a really nice park. The plethora of walking, running, and biking trails are well maintained and regularly used. The park doesn't have any amazing "must see" or wow factors, but it is a nice place for relaxing or exercising. It is clean.
Texas Magnate
This is a beautiful place to go exercise and there is lots to do...jog, cycle, golf, eat, swim, etc. I love coming here. With all the new improvements, it looks pretty swanky now, and is still a great place to exercise.
Aron P
Had a great experience running this park however it can seem pretty packed most times because a lot of people go out there more to be around other people. If you are trying to escape and want more peaceful and quiet I would not recommend this park. This is more of a “ I’m running and let everybody see me social media share type vibe “. However this place can be good to getaway.
Kevin Stafford
This place was great. Very much a must for any family.
James Smith
Beautiful park! The running distance full-circle is approximately 3mi, if you’re wondering. There is quite a bit of construction and several areas where the crushed granite trail has eroded, but that can only be secondary to it’s frequent usage. I ran on a Saturday morning around 6am, there were at least 100-150+ runners and walkers. Many groups, mostly pairs but there was several running solo like myself. I enjoyed the 6 miles I ran, and look forward to getting out on this one again, the next time I’m in town!
Sara Quinnett
Spent a beautiful Sunday morning here with my sister. I'll be back for sure!
Jackie Dalessandro
Been running here 10 yrs now. Best place very inspiring to see the other runners as well. Haven't had a chance to check out the new inner part of what they built but looks nice. Wish that food truck wasnt so close to the jogging path though. Makes my mouth water every time.
Literally started my 1st run ever in my life here and so it means alot to me to go daily. 😁😁😉
Hannah Royall
My husband loves the driving range and it's a nice place for walking or running. I don't love that a significant stretch of the trail runs right beside Memorial- the cars and noise don't make for a relaxing walk. But the improvements they're making to the trail and park are great, adding more bathrooms and scenic additions.
Rick O
Love this park. It's got something for everyone and it's very well maintained. Popular running trails are great for people watching our exercising yourself. Miles of dirty trails for exploring with your dog or bike riding. There's even a hose down area to wash the mud off the mutt before getting back in the car or keep them cool in the hot summer. The arboretum nearby doesn't allow bicycles and makes it a much more peaceful set of trails to walk on. Nice picnic areas with basic bbq pits which are frequently used for family gatherings and parties.
Gaby G
Lots of trails. Easy to get from memorial park to arboretum. Love the trains
Vic
My first time visiting this popular park. I came to bike ride. Even though the trails weren't maintained that well, I understand it's Covid season and there has been tough weather lately. A park this big with these many trails is always going to be a 5 stars.
Cedric
A mesmerizing place to walk or run. So beautiful !
Exavier Torres
No water fountains anywhere. Far from kid friends
Beth Sellers
Wow. Memorial Park is gorgeous. It has multiple walking/jogging trails and so many pavilions. The addition of a small lake in the middle and all the hard scaping makes the place glorious for a Saturday morning walk.
