Reviews of Warren ICBM & Heritage Museum

A great experience to go through the history of the base and the mission. The museum curator also does events for kids during the holidays and from the sounds of it actually got good participation from the kids.

Nice museum. My husband really enjoyed it. He is active duty Army and my father is retired Air Force. My father enjoyed the pictures. Nice little gift shop. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Very friendly employees who are very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the experience. I was surprised that it wasn't just missile related items. There are also some uniforms and furniture and other related items from different eras in the military. A lot of history about the base. Definitely worth seeing if you're in the Cheyenne area and love military museums

Super informative and interesting if your into the history of the missiles etc. My son absolutely thought it was the coolest place 😊 a lot of cool and interesting old parts of history, it is on base so make sure to acquire the correct base access before visiting 😀

I was very impressed with the layout of the museum. Being an old B-52G crew chief and being part of the Strategic Air Command(SAC) nuclear triad this museum visit gave me insight to the missle role. I was like a kid in candy store. Highly recommend this museum especially to my SAC brothers and sisters.

This place is wonderful. If you have a military ID you can access the base to visit the museum, others need to call the museum first. The museum has both the history of the base from when it was an Army Fort, to now when it is a missile base. There are great exhibits, one room is dedicated to kids, so they can interact with historic items, such as they can sit at an actual console used to launch missiles, and they can launch one too.

So interesting and fun to see everything, just a little disappointed there was no close captioning.

What a wonderful museum to visit at FE Warren Air Force Base Museum. It was an honor for me because my father served at FE Warren Missile Wing . The tour of the museum will teach and show everyone about the history of Former Calvary post To the present day US Air Force base and how the base contribute To the fence of the United States during the Cold War into the present date. The staff and the tour was excellent.

This place was behind my house actually. As a missileer, I rather enjoyed the history and displays, but it also covers the bases founding and past nicely.
Keep in mind, this is on a military installation, and you will need a military ID or to be vouched by a family or friend who has one. However, during some times like Frontier Days, the base will bus civilians over to see it.

A opportunity to walk into history. A chance to see an area of the facility that required a top secret clearance access. A very scary time during the Cold war.

For former missileers, missile mnx and military enthusists, this is a great museum to tour. A lot of examples of missile launch consoles and missile parts, plus pictures from the SAC days. This museum also does a great job explaining the history dating back to the days of Fort Russell.
