Delightful! So well done! The staff is absolutely wonderful & inviting. You'll learn so much after a brief 30 minute walk through. The subject matter is diverse and uncommon. You'll experience history in a way not typically seen in other museums. And all up-close and personal. Please do donate to support this charming exhibit.

Where do I begin?! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted into such a welcoming atmosphere. They have a plethora of displays to look at. My particular favorite were the hair combs displayed on the wall. They have a little movie area that you can sit and watch videos of Cheyenne's past. It is a small museum but believe me, there is a lot to it and it is very thorough.

WOW! This place was so full of information. It's not big but the knowledge they have is immeasurable. So worth the time to visit. Make sure to take time to read the information they have for the Ladies of the West. We were all so happy we stopped in to see it. And the shop next door was very nice and the folks working there were very informative and just lovely folks.

Was very interesting, they rely solely on donations, had nice video about the old days. Was worth going to see.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to come here with my Mom and both my Aunts. I could have stayed for hours reading and watching the movie. The museum is very well done, the displays are mostly on loan and it's volunteer operated. It was a memorable experience. I highly recommend

Oh my gosh! What a cute place!
I really enjoyed the movie and the authentic pieces of cowgirl history. The best part is the descriptions of each photo. It really helps bring them to life.
The receptionist was really helpful and answered lots of questions.
If there is anything you want to know about real cowgirls, you'll find the answers there.

We randomly found this museum and I'm glad we did. What a cool hidden gem! All about the history of women in the west - as homesteaders, mothers, businesswomen, rodeo stars... this was an eyeopening visit and I'm glad I found it with my daughters.

This site is very special.
We spent 2 months traveling in the north and west of the USA and the Cowgirl museum is one of the places where we keep one of the best memories. The volunteers who work there are retired and they welcome you in an unbeatable way. When we told them that we came from Spain and France they were stunned since European tourists don't usually come here. For me, it was one of the magic points of our trip.
In this place you will find really impressive objects that collect the history of cowboy women.
Cheyenne may not be much for an American, but if you are a tourist and really want to learn more about the history of this wonderful country and its people, this is not to be missed.
Thank you thank you thank you.
I hope to be able to return one day.
