I loved the boots, the statues, woman suffrage plaque, splash pad for kids, and view of the capital building. We enjoyed pizza from Hambones Pizza nearby as well.

The museum was closed by the time we got there, but the plaza area was nice. They have a water pad, some grass areas & an ice cream stand across the street.

I took the 90 minute bus tour. It was informative. Our tour bus driver took us to the capital building and to the Cheyenne rodeo grounds and many other places. I ate at a food truck while in the plaza as well, had the Elote in a cup, it was really good.

Truly enjoyed our visit here. Depot museum is worthy of being a reason to visit Cheyenne on its own. Loved the history and be sure to visit the model train area upstairs - incredible recreation of mining lines of Colorado.

Great during the summer time, the kiddos get a refresher from the water and a time for us parents to play with them. Boots are so amazing too. We visited for a few hours before returning to our home state and it was a good experience.

Friday nights on the Plaza......what a great concept. They have different genres of music every Friday night throughout the summer.....FOR FREE! There are food vendors available and if your interested, alcohol is also served for those of drinking age. There is always a decent crowd of all ages there. Bring your lawn chairs if you don't plan on dancing the night away. You can check out each weeks lineup online so you can decide if it's worth your time to go. I highly recommend going to check out at least one if not all of these concerts whether your local or a tourist.

Saw Boogie Machine last night and they rocked it. Friday nights at the Depot are a good way to end the work week. Beer and live music go hand in hand. Near by shopping and food is a plus. Parking can be difficult to find at times.

Great gathering spot in downtown with multiple uses (summer concerts, Frontier Days pancake breakfast, kids splash pads, holiday tree lighting) makes this an ideal place to enjoy, restaurants close by as well as shopping, easy to access and find, plenty of parking nearby and located directly in front of the historic Union Pacific depot where the train Depot museum is located. Get out and enjoy it.

Located in downtown Cheyenne, the depot has a splash pad that runs during the summer. The plaza is also host of Fridays On The Plaza during the summer which hosts various local bands. Food trucks are found during the concerts. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the plaza. You can also hop on a free trolley tour and learn about the city.

I love the Cheyenne Depot Plaza, especially in summer with all the events and music etc. The Museum is really interesting and there are tons of shops, food, cafes, and bars within walking distance.

Went for a church thing and it was really nice. Had a water pad for kids and whatnot to play and run around in. 3 outhouses across the street. It's just a nice place to chill out or take the kids.

Cheyenne Depot Plaza park now sits where the old Greyhound bus depot used to be. We used to go in there and play the pinball machines for $0.05 and now Greyhound doesn't even come to this town anymore I don't know what happened there but I sure do miss the old Cheyenne... This is a good place to go to listen to outdoor bands on Friday nights. Vendors around if you want to eat or drink. Nice quiet place to meet up with friends. Different bands every week, but is only in the summer time.

If you like the UP and trains the museum is worth the price. Parking can be a bit difficult as the majority of the parking is by permit only. We lucked out and got a free 2 hr space. I will return again when I'm back in the area.

What a great introduction to a city. This plaza coupled with the information centre and the railway museum make this a really outstanding centrepiece to a city. Well done. We had a blast walking the downtown streets and enjoying the historic buildings and restorations. We missed the trolley season by one day but the walking did us good!

Old downtown was very cool. So many buildings still standing and being used from the 1800's We loved it here. The one main thing Dan wanted was to see the old Steam locomotives 🚂. But, bc of covid no tours were allowed. Maybe another time.

There is a lot to see and do there. We took the train out to feed the Bison. There are many photo opportunities. They have a nice Restaurant and also a cafe. They have horse back trail rides. They have many unusual animals to see.

Nice place with a museum and microbrewery just beside. Food was great there and it's just beside the railyard so you can watch trains pass on the patio. The setup is cool. Get a card at check-in, step back to the dining area, pick a cup of 1 of 3 sizes, choose a beer, stick the card in, and self serve. Your card is the tab and you take it with you to checkout. They do also do mixed drinks so it can cater to those with a sweet tooth like myself. Both the museum and microbrewery are great stops.

We did not take in an event when we were there. You can tell though that it would be a good place to attend an event. Plenty to see at the Square just walking around.

Cool Old Town Plaza. They have summer concerts there and various festivals. They have free pancakes during Frontier Days. There are also cool statues and boot statues that are a good photo opportunity. However parking is very limited and if you go during Frontier Days, you will have to walk a ways. There are also horse carriage rides during the summer when it is good weather. They also have trolley rides you can buy from the museum. Cool place.

Great outdoor concerts during summer. Beautiful farmers market. If you skateboard here, someone might encourage you to skate, but do not grind on the "art". Sometimes cops tell us not to skate the depot, even though it is totally legal

We attended the Friday night music on the Square. It was awesome. The bands were great, especially the singing a acapella group from Boulder. Such talent! If you are in town for this experience, GO!

Nice outdoor space. Lacking in seating and places to relax in the shade. Bathrooms had some homeless folks living in or near them. Also noticed quite a bit of trash around the outside of the restrooms. The rest of the area seemed well kept.

The Depot has been a great addition to downtown Cheyenne. We love the live music in the summer and enjoy the wide variety of bands. We also love the variety of other events, everything from barbecue cook offs to dancing to car shows. You never know what fun you will find!

The music nights are fun, the brewery next store is expensive. The food wasn't good. The music was really fun, and the Plaza has a lot of other events too, and has a farmer's market sometimes too. It's really cool, and fun.

The city of Cheyenne is a gem, a living memento of what the nation might have looked like half a century ago. It's worth going to the depot plaza.
