It's a beautiful Park looking over mountains range in Vermont. Being from Massachusetts, we were not sure what we're supposed to look for or to see until the local told us what to look for. We met a lot of bicyclists who park their cars there and bike down the hill.

Nice view of the Champlain lake and mountains. A S path takes you to the top or you can access the overlook park directly. Benches and picnic tables are available

Such a spectacular place to drive by, catch a sunset, or even just hang out at and enjoy the spectacular view of lake Champlain and the accompanying backdrop of mountains. Personally, I enjoy bringing my lunch here and having a little picnic but just going to look out is well worth it too!

This is a great place to catch a long view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. The lot needs repaving, but there's a nice stone wall and perennial garden. Sunsets seen from here are spectacular. If they hadn't made this park, someone would have built another fancy house here and there would be no place along Spear St to stop and take in nature's beauty.

This is a great spot to come to have a lunch with a view. Very gorgeous in the fall. Easy parking but the actual parking lot definitely needs a lot of maintenance. Pot holes everywhere.

Great views of Lake Champlain. There's also a bike-only path that starts at the bottom of the hill going parallel to the lake. It you can see the views from Mt. Philo, then definitely stop here

It's just a pull-off aside the highway, where one (IF A lover of nature) finds the equivalent to a winning lottery ticket blowing about the parking lot. The vista before you epitomizes the "Earth part" of what is meant by ..."all Heaven and earth is full of God's GLORY." Ignore all the demonstrations of man's wealth, with all the beautiful homes about--just imagine yourself being on this spot 500 years ago. Alone and with God. AWESOME!

A beautiful place to check out the spectacular veiw's of the Mountain's & Lake Champlain & Rest for a spell or have a picnic lunch or whatever. Plenty of parking space's too. On a clear day you can see for mile's and take picture's 📷📱while ur there. We stop there everytime we go to Burlington Vermont. We just love it. "Enjoy"!!!!! Thank's to all who maintain this Scenic Area for all of us to enjoy.

A great local spot to watch the sun go down over the adirondacks. Nearby is the walkway connecting South Burlington to Burlington. Don't leave without checking it out!

I discovered this little gem on our way to Burlington, VT. This was such a relaxing place to just sit and unwind. Pictures don't do justice. You need to make a quick pit stop to breath in the air and enjoy the scenery. They have picnic tables and many benches. You could certainly bring food and enjoy it there. The air just smelled so much fresher there. It was very well kept park. It also has plenty of parking.

Trees are starting to block some of the view, but still one of the best spots around to view a sunset and see part of Lake Champlain. Nice with benches and flowers and even a water fountain.

Great local park. The view of the lake and the Adirondacks is superb. Ride your bike here or park your car. Clean. Lots of seating and some grassy areas to picnic on even (limited due to slope.) A really nice place to catch a sunset. Recommended.

My friend showed me this adorable little overlook when we were up in BTV. Unfortunately, we came on an overcast day, but it was still nice to take in the lovely views! This is an amazing place to see sweeping views of the beautiful mountains and Lake Champlain. I imagine it would also be worth checking out at sunset. This is also a great spot for budding photographers. There is a small parking lot here, plus a couple of picnic tables. I'd say this is a must do for first time visitors to this fabulous city! Plan to spend 10-15 minutes here.

This used to be a great place to park and admire the view of the lake. However, the parking lot has been neglected for years and is now deteriorating. There are now potholes that can swallow small compact cars whole. The rough pavement also makes it very difficult to walk around for the elderly and handicapped. There are also no facilities of any kind and no trash barrels either, so litter is sometimes a problem.

Incredible scenic view with a few historic & geographic informational boards. There's a water fountain and robust bike repair station that's free to use. Good parking too!

A great network of forested trails, mostly paved. Frequented by walkers, runners and dog walkers. It's somewhat hilly. A nice walk in the woods and by neighborhoods without the worry of traffic. Parking off Spear Street is very convenient.

Went for the sunset, it was really beautiful. It seems a lot ot other people had the same idea, it was busy but not overcrowded to the point of being a problem. A very nice place to watch the sunset.

Great place to watch a sunset. Have a picnic or just relax after a walk or bike ride. Avoid this place like the plague for events like fireworks. Its a great venue but people will ruin the event. Trust me.

Its a nice pull off to take a break and look out over the lake. There isn't much else there to do but it is one of my go to spots for a quiet bag lunch. Cell service is a little light though.
