This is an amazing piece of history! The house is hundreds of years old yet well preserved, and a beautiful contrast to the more modern buildings around it. Tours are only a dollar if you are under 18, and 6 dollars otherwise. You get to walk through the house, seeing rooms decorated and set up as they would have been in the 1770s and 1680s. The antique furniture and artifacts are actually from the 1600s and 1700s and many belonged to the owners of this house. It's really cool to see, and you can learn a ton about anything there from the historical interpreters on site. No picture taking inside the house.

Enjoyed buying Boston Freedom Trail books and seeing original political propaganda/satire cartoons. We Americans have not changed much in showing our way of how we want events to be remembered, including retelling of Boston Massacre.

$6 pp and the proceeds go to education so absolutely worth it. The home part of the house was small but very informative and the guides inside know their stuff. You are not allowed to take pictures inside the house part. After you go through the house you pass a small gift store and another little part that has some great information and some pretty cool artifacts of Paul Revere's. There are bathrooms there and they are super clean. In the outside section there have the Revere bell which you can take pictures of. Great way to spend a few minutes we stumbled upon it on our walk from little Italy area. The area around the home is beautiful as well and very close to a park with a Paul Revere statue.

If you're visiting Boston's "North End", you're basically at Paul Revere's doorstep. There's a small fee to enter. It's been beautiful preserved. There are docents inside to tell you the history and answer your questions. There is no photographer allowed inside. Photography is allowed in the gift shop and outside. PLUS, if you're up to seeing a bit more history, you should also plan the Lexington MA bus tour where they give you a bus and walking tour of Paul Revere's infamous The British Are Here ride

Excellent, quick tour of history. Cheap and informational. A great experience to tour the original Paul Revere house while seeing and learning about his story. Great for ~8+ ages. Would recommend to family/school trips.

Visiting Paul Revere's house was fun. It showed how people lived back in the 1700's. Were not allowed to take pictures in the house but I took a few. Learned the truth about Paul Revere's ride and his life. Paul had 2 wives and 16 total children. He was busy. Worthwhile to see if in Boston.

The staff here are all very passionate about history. They are very knowledgeable about not only the time that Paul Revere and his family occupied the home, but the time before and after. Photography inside of the house is not allowed, although you can purchase a postcard pack with hose from the inside for $1.50.

Great little museum, worth the stop! We got through it in a leisurely 30 minutes, or you can probably get through in as little as 20. The guides stationed in the rooms are friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice preserved house with good information about the Revere family living space. I liked that there was someone in each room willing to answer any questions. Not very long. More like a 10 minute tour with a small connecting museum/ gift shop. A Freedom Trail point of interest.

This was a nice small stop, but it was not quite as detailed as I thought it might be. It is still worth a stop to see one of the oldest standing original buildings in America and to see the original beams and some silverwork of Mr. Revere. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and gift shop had many good offerings. There is virtually no parking at the site, so expect to pay to park somewhere and walk in. Although there were families there that had children, I expect this is one stop that is more entertaining for older children than younger, unless they have a fascination for history. Even reading all of the information plaques, it did not take much more than 30 minutes to walk through it all.

It's a quick tour and while some may be put off by not being allowed to photograph the interior it's definitely one of the places you visit and just want to be in the moment and contemplate the significance of this place in history. I believe it is the oldest building in Boston and dates to the colonial period. Pretty awesome! It's important that we support our historical sites with our time, and money.

It was fun to see the house Paul Revere lived in, along with some other items. The place was pretty small and only took about 30 min. I learned a lot about Paul Revere, but not much about other parts of the American revolution, so it’s not very expansive. It is reasonable for the price though.

The Paul Revere Home was interesting in the history of the building and in the man, his family life, business, and, most importantly, his role in the Revolutionary War. It was disappointing that we were unable to take photographs inside the home or the museum as I enjoy referring back to photos in sharing what I visited and learned. The home’s original owner (home built in c. 1680) is referenced in the first room we saw, with the rest being as the Revere family had it. There is history of Paul’s businesses but I cannot remember them due to no photographs to jog my memory. Outside the home, but on the property is a large bell he made. Quite impressive.

The restoration is very well done and I enjoyed talking to the staff inside the house - very knowledgeable. The first floor windows are beautiful. It's very small, only 4 rooms in the original house, but there is also a small museum in a separate building. I really appreciated all the historical accounts and information about his ride and how it differs from the poem.

No photography allowed inside the house. You may only photograph the outside. For bragging rights, I can say I've been here but that's about all! The self-guided house tour is not exciting.

A landmark worth supporting. No wait for walking through. $6 for adults, $5.50 for students with ID. No pictures inside the house. Some of the furniture in the house did not actually belong to Paul Revere, as the house passed through many owners over the years.

Loved Visting Paul Revere House! It is totally worth the visit. Henry was a very pleasant and knowledgable guide! The gift shop is fun and has more to see in it! You cannot take pics inside the house and I respected that policy. You should too. There are some great artifacts inside that belonged to Revere himself. Fascinating!! Love my "plush Paul" ornament from the gift shop!

Iconic location in history and necessity on the Freedom Trail. I will say overall this is a brief stop… however, very cool and interpreters within the house were kind and knowledgeable! If you’re hitting the trail in the summer, PR house has some much appreciated AC.

This is a very old piece of history. Almost the entire house is the original structure with a couple exception. They’ve got the inside decorated to simulate how people lived in the house so many years ago. Photos are not allowed to be taken in the house.

Paul Revere was one of the most important figures in the American Revolution, so his ancestors managed to spare this historic house from demolition. Moreover, they refubrished it and converted into a museum. The museum house stands in the center of North End - a popular Italian neighborhood. It's understandably a small house dating back to the era and paying respects to this great revolutionary. A must quick stop on the Freedom Trail.

We visited here while in Boston. This was free entry with the gopass that we purchased. It was nice and very informative. There was some great history involved in the house. We watched this location after we got off the hop-on hop-off bus. It did take a while to walk there but historic buildings were great plus along the way.

Short tour about 20-30 off the downstairs and upstairs house. Then there’s small museum area for artifacts and letters and documents. The price is good for the short tour. It revealed the event, himself and the condition and life of that time. It’s worth the visit.

Fantastic look into the home of one of the legendary people in the war for US independence. The docent was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The home/museum was very well maintained and cared for. Right on the independence trail. Only takes about 30 min to tour. Would recommend for family's with children 8 or older.

Nicely restored period piece of American history. Helpful staff. Very interesting exhibits but no photos of the interior hence the lack of posts here. The outside is quite plain but a bell manufactured by Mr. Revere in the courtyard is on display. But definitely worth a visit.

The Paul Revere House was something I was looking forward to but was left slightly disappointed. The house is small and the touring isn't really monitored. They just continuously let people in. So it's very crowded, the on site guides are mid explanation with other groups when you enter the rooms, there's very limited space to stand, etc. It was still something I was happy to see. I just wish it was pla Ned out better. The museum at the adjoining house was more interesting to me. The gift ahop had nothing I was interested in. Wish there were other items, christmas ornaments, tshirts, etc to commemoratey visit. Also not allowed to take pics inside the house which was a let down.

A must do (I think, at least) if you're in the Boston area. It was really cool seeing the artifacts throughout the house and learning about Reveres time that he lived there. There was a line out front to get in, but we only waited about 20 minutes or so.

Great piece of American history! This is a wonderful old house that has been painstakingly restored with a lot of cool original artifacts. It's not big it only takes a few minutes really to go through the whole place. When we went it was $6 a person which is really reasonable. You can't take photos inside the building though so be aware of that. Parking in this area is a challenge for sure. Better to park in one of the garages and walk in. There are a lot of good little restaurants in the area that would make this a nice stop along the way.

A great value as a museum that takes a about an hour and costs only $6. Not everyone wants to pay $15+ for a 4 hour experience. Knowledgeable and passionate staff give a realistic portrayal of Revere and his family without being overly-dramatic. This is a nice complement to the USS Constitution Museum for scientists who are casual fans of the history of metal-working in early America.

I'm used to touring homes or apartments in New Orleans where I live, and often those are plantations or mansions where upper class folks lived sometimes with the slave quarters nearby and restored for historical accuracy. This tour is short, but it is excellent at showing what life was like for an American tradesman and his family at the time of the birth of our country. It is a small home in the middle of a city, with a lot of period furniture and appointments available to give you a sense of what it was like living in the home. It is rather disappointing that photographs, even without flash, are prohibited. It is also very short. But I really got the impression that the folks who own and operate this museum are aware of these challenges and so focus on doing the most they can with what they have. The folks inside are knowledgable, and help explain the context of the home and the things inside. This is worth the tour and the modest price for catching a glimpse of the life of one of our founders.

This is a great stop on the Freedom Trail. The cost was acceptable, and the rooms and storytelling were interesting. No pictures were allowed inside, but the outside and the visitor's center allowed photos. I recommend this as an important site for American history. Not to mention, I never knew how much Paul Revere had done after his ride. Very interesting man.

Stopped here to fulfill our nerdy history sides. Was really neat seeing Paul Revere’s house and getting some detailed information about his house, his life, and other facts about that time period. The guides were friendly and informative. The tour went smoothly, even with the COVID social distancing guidelines in place. The line to get in was out on the sidewalk but moved quickly. A staff member would come out every 10 minutes or so and update us on the wait.

You are able to briefly tour four rooms of the house. While inside, there are two historians (one for each level of the home) to give a presentation on the history of the home and its inhabitants. There is not a lot of information shared about the space. I felt like those on the tour had to dig for information or inquire about things in the rooms. Little attention/information was given by the historians to the kitchen and bedroom spaces. Left us wanting. The presenters seemed quite knowledgeable when visitors requested more info. No photography allowed in the home.

This place is fairly small and cash only. I kind of wished they had put a rolling video on in the visitor center with some back ground. The house tour is all self guided and to be honest you are in and out in about 10 minutes. For those not good with stairs there are two winding ones. Also it is cash only ooh and the doors frame are fairly low so watch your head!

Nice stop along the freedom trail. The home is in very good shape and the staff was knowledgeable about all of the historical details. Believe it was $4-$5 to get in and is self guided. There was a lot of historical information and artifacts throughout and there is a nice courtyard to hang out in after. Also bathrooms were nice and clean!

This was a very cute little exhibit, I think it was rather odd that they brought the fireplace from the basement upstairs to the main room, it would have been great on the tour if they left it as is and allowed groups to tour the basement. I'm sure nowadays with infrastructure they'd figure a way to make it safe for people in small amounts at a time to see the basements. After all it is where the servants cooked and cleaned and lived, sort of took away from the history and integrity.

For me, this visit was magical. My grandmother used to recite the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere poem to me as a child, so when I got to see it in person I could hear her voice in my head telling it to me again. What a fantastic place to have memorialized. Although the comical part is that Paul actually failed his mission that night, and is only famous thanks the Longfellow. But, no matter, thank you for giving me that special moment to reflect.

This is a great place for history buffs or those who love seeing (being in) historical places. Much of the house is original to the time of Revere and there are several artifacts on display in the area attached to the house. Be aware there are no interactive displays or fancy productions. It’s a small place with no frills, but it’s a great place if you love history. It’s also a learning opportunity for children and adults. If you love history or are doing the Freedom Trail make sure you stop in here and then go to the Old North Church.

Great short tour. You don't need a lot of time to go through the house

Was skeptical about visiting because of other reviews but they are spot on. First, no photos inside the house, although you can take pictures in the visitor center. if you could take pictures in the house all you would get is the back of others people's heads because it is a popular spot, not much room to walk around. It is very crowded. You'll get through it within a half hour to 45 minutes but could take longer depending on other people reading the exhibits. Also for $5 I think that instead it should be a donate how you feel kind of place. they will be happy to take your money in the gift shop. I must say that everybody that works there is exceptionally friendly and helpful though. I would say just do it once, just to say you did it and that's it.

This is a really cool historical place to visit. The house is quite small and pretty much all of it was "restored", so you won't be looking at the real, original dwellings of Paul Revere- just a replica of it. However, it is his actual house, and if you're in Boston and interested in American History, you should check it out.

I loved being in Boston and hearing all the parts of history I've never known before. This is a cool square and a place to get to know the oldest original standing building in Boston. Interesting visit. You do get the feeling of going back in time done in a nice way without the total tourist sell. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. We were following the trail but got lost, must be an Irish thing getting lost on the Boston Trail. On visiting Little Italy a few days later we stumbled upon the house. Value for money and worth a visit.

This is one of the most famous, breathtaking places you will ever see. It was relatively small in comparison to today's homes which is just my size. I'd love to spend the night and enjoy a piece of history first hand. Everything was so peaceful here. When in Boston this should be at the top of your list.

And Paul Revere is a major part of all that history...and this is the house he lived in with his wife, sister, mother, and kids...all 11 that survived out of 16!! Can you just imagine?!? One of the genuinely unique attractions along the Freedom Trail is the Paul Revere House. Built around 1680, this national landmark is the oldest standing structure in downtown Boston. This house is of lumber construction typical of the early colonial days. Within you can experience two floors with rooms decorated with period furnishing. Some of the upstairs pieces were owned by Paul Revere, the famous American patriot who lived here from 1770-1800. Unfortunately, photography isn't allowed within this attraction. We greatly enjoyed seeing the various rooms of the Paul Revere House and appreciated the onsite staff who provided very useful commentary and patiently described the rooms and their furniture. Some of the stories behind the furniture pieces were very interesting to hear, adding greatly to the perspective of what it was like to live during those times. Paul Revere House is quite small so if you are in a hurry you can experience it in no more than 10 minutes or stick around for twice that if you are enjoying what you see and what the attendant has to say about this historic property. Note: At the Paul Revere House, you can buy a combo ticket ($16 per adult) that includes entrance into the Old South Meeting Hall and the Old State House, giving you a $3 savings compared to buying each ticket individually.

The Paul Revere House was a nice stop in Boston. There isn't a guided tour for the home, which is a bit sad since the space is small and I felt bad about standing in one place too long to read the plaques when there were other people waiting to see the exhibits as well. However, the staff were informative and very willing to answer questions. Also, be aware that visitors can not take pictures inside the house.

Paul Revere house has an admission of $5 and you get to visit a historic home. Inside the home you cannot take photos but you can see the old furnitures. There are employees inside the home to explain and ask questions. After you come out of the house you step into a small museuem. This is worth the visit for people who like history!

A fun 15-20 minute stop for $6 or less per person. The 4 rooms have preserved antiques from the time of Paul Revere and recreations of what the room would have looked like at the time. A host in each room will explain the significance, purpose, and history of the locations as you pass through. 4/5 stars simply because it was not a particularly exciting experience, but it did what it was aiming to do very well.

This is a must see from a historical perspective. Revere was 35 when he purchased this house and the guide said that 90% of the structure is original. It's small and self-guided, but its only $5 to walk through such an amazing piece of history.

This place is pretty cool. They did a really good job of preserving the house and filling it with historically accurate items. It's a self guided tour with plenty of reading material around with a few people there to help you with any questions. There was also a cute display with old Paul Revere things. It's defiantly worth the $5 admission (cash only)

Cheep entry fee, minimal crowds, and the best part were the guides that stayed in each room that informed you about the house what it would have looked like, as well as telling you all about the life of Paul Revere and his family. Great place to go for a quick bit of history. A must see when in Boston. Great insight into what our founding fathers went through and lived like. The tour guides are helpful and knowledgeable. It's a great way to spend an hour or two especially when you need to get out of the cold. Donations get you inside so dig deep and help keep the house standing.

I was surprised at how neat this was! Sometimes tourist locations over-sell their value, or provide gimmicky attractions. But the Paul Revere House is just what's in the title. However, it includes some people who stand in each room and explain what's there, how it relates to the Revere story, or how it's historical. I really enjoyed myself. And to top it all off, it didn't take very long! Less than an hour, and that was including listening to each person and reading every placard.

It’s small and well done. The home has been displayed to be a typical home of the time and they include Revere family furniture and collection as they can. There are informational placards and also staff there to give an overview of the rooms and answer questions. It only takes maybe 15 minutes to go through the house, but worth it to see this piece of history.

Good place to learn about a small part of the heritage of the United States. It is quite interesting to see how Paul Rever and others lived around this period of time. **No photos allowed inside** A must see on the freedom trail! Check out the Revere Bell in the courtyard prior to entering the residence. Staff is very knowledgeable and offers information about the residence prior to and during the Revere family owning the property. Period dated furniture supplements the pieces owned by the Revere family and shows what life was like during that time period. The gift shop on site is nice and make sure you stop in to the “The Boston Gift Shop” (it really is the name of the place) next door. It has been owned and operated by the same family for many generations and can be seen in many of the historical photos of the Revere house.

Historic house in downtown Boston, pretty much original to its 1680's construction. That is amazing. It's quick, but cheap. They could do better by perhaps doing small groups and offering a bit more site specific info, personal PR stories/lore, because it is a rather short experience. Maybe Covid protocols have something to do with that. It's only $6 per person so it's worth it for someone who appreciates history and has never visited.

I was going to mark this place as just okay, because It really didn't have much going for it. It was small and was over before it began. There were a few items to read about, but it was overall forgettable compared to some other things I saw in Boston. However, the employees were so kind and helpful in our situation. We came with a toddler and someone in a wheelchair. They quickly recognized our situation and helped to accommodate us without anything. For example, my toddler was so not having it (she was eating a snack before we took it away to go inside) and an employee took her to see a cat and got a step stool so she could see inside one of the display cases. They were patient and kind, so overall the employees deserve a 5 star! But the location just was okay.

The Paul Revere House was worth the visit. The price of admission was reasonable and the tour focused on historical context and details of three main areas of the house: The courtyard, first floor, and second floor. Various original parts of the building have been revealed and protected by plexiglass to show the construction of the building. The guides were an odd and eclectic collection of people, yet knowledgeable of the history and facts of the building. It's worth visiting once, but probably not a repeat visit.

For the senior discount it was good if you are looking for a "cool" place to venture into the past and discover what the history books might not have told ya as a child about the Paul Revere story... Interesting, very interesting... You'll have to go inside and read it for yourself to find out! The house itself was dressed in 1700's time period, which I love seeing what people used to cook with, sleep on, sit on etc. Unfortunately, the small theater wasn't open, so we missed out on seeing the real story. It was a small house but it had clean bathrooms and a nice water fountain to refill your canister. The gift shop was quaint and full of fun things, like the 1700's period giant playing cards for us seniors, or kids. Oh, did I mention is was air-conditioned!! That right there was worth the money to get in. Temperatures rose to the 90's that day and it was a nice cool spot to stop into.

Being in this place is like taking a literal step back in history. Seeing and walking through a house that was owned by someone who played a pivotal role in our country's history is an amazing thing. It is also amazing to see you what would have been a house owned buy an upper middle class person 200 years ago and compare it to modern houses. Maybe it's because I had seen a few historical house by then, but that was just another one of them, nothing particular to it. Hearing the story of Paul Revere from the guide however was very interesting, I really didn't know who he was other than the man who did the Midnight Run, so hearing how he was a very successful merchant, father of 16 children, the various careers he held and a bit on his life was interesting.The house itself is a bit off the beaten path on the Freedom Trail, but worth going to as you walk through the Italian area of Boston, which is quite different than the downtown area. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk there, and again, an interesting walk.

It's located in the historic district of Boston. The streets are cobble stones and the buildings have an older feel to them. It is a neat sight. The house itself is small and has two floors. They even have some items that they believe were originally owned by the Revere family on display. It was interesting to read about the history and story behind his ride. I learned a lot of things I didn't know. It is a small museum, but I thought it was cool.

Really,really nice staff. Would recommend. This is a really nice historical sight that I would definitely wouldn't mind visiting again. I really appreciate the staff being so kind and knowledgeable the whole entire tour. The house is really cool and historical, I'm really glad that it was preserved and that I got to visit it. Also, there is a really good Italian restaurant right next door to it.

I didn't really think I was going to enjoy visiting The Paul Revere House so much, but I did. The guides were amazing, full of information, easy to listen to, and very welcoming. We had an introduction in the walkway, and then were able to see the house and learn about Revere and his family. The architecture, furnishings, and decor really let you feel you are there. Well, you sort of are there. :) Great for families with kids to keep alive our history and heritage.

Quick 5-10 minute tour of one of the most famous people in our nation’s history. There was construction outside which made for undesirable photos of the exterior. But overall it’s interesting to see, even though there are about 3-4 rooms to see on the tour. Coat is reasonable at $5 per person.

Things to know that I wish I knew ahead of time:: -Entry is $5, but a card charge minimum is $10. -Gift shop is closed, but they have a small (like maybe 10 items?) Available. Again, card charge is a minimum of $10 -The "tour" is fast and furious with most questions being answered with "check out the website!". I was in and out in 15 minutes. -Good mix of older docents who clearly love it there and a mix of college students

Only $5 for entry. Cash only. Last minute stop before going back to airport. Fortunately they will store your luggage for you during your tour. The tour is self-paced. Although the home is small, there are enough signs throughout each room to keep you there for about 45 to 60 minutes. There are also people in the rooms to answer questions. IMO Worth the $5. No photography. Expect a library-like reverence. It was neat to see furniture that was owned by the Revere family. The tour takes you through the life of the Revere family, Paul's trade and his involvement in the revolution. I believe it was built around 1680, as the oldest residential building in Boston, it was an experience to see original wallpaper and other items. I'm glad I decided to make the stop before going to the airport. The gift shop is very tiny and nothing enticing to purchase.

Great exhibition. I've been twice now. Can be crowded. Tickets are cash only. You can easily miss the place as it is unassuming from the outside other than the extra people around. Staff are very knowledgeable about the place and the period of history for the house which is great. Must see if you like history in Boston.

This was a well-spent $5. I had some time after breakfast in the North End, so I walked by the Paul Revere House to see if I'd like to tour it. There aren't any guided tours, however, there are tour guides on the first and second floors of the house to add commentary and answer questions. I enjoyed making it self-paced. It's like a "shot of history" - 15 minutes and you're done. I recommend!

Amazing how our forefathers lived, and the next generations can see it in this historic city! Love that it is one of the many places you can check out while doing the Freedom Walk Trail on your own, or with guide. Not for handicapped...too many stairs. When we travel, we like to visit historical sites and learn about he places as are staying. We learned about Paul Revere in school in the Midwest, but as an adult, I think much more about what his life was like and why he chose to take his stand. It was neat to be able to walk through a home he lived with and see some of the furniture he owned, to learn more about his wives, children, and career. It's only 5.00 to enter, bit do bring cash. It is operated by a non profit that depends on donations. If you are Interested in history, don't hesitate to go!

Absolutely by far the best tour on the Freedom Trail for your moneys worth. You get to go into the real Paul Revere house and the staff there actually talk about it. At other places on the freedom trail you will pay 15$ a person and the staff won't even talk to you, which is fine, but this is definitely the most informative.

How can you not give something this historic 5 stars. It is absolutely amazing that they keep this preserved. My favorite thing about the east coast is the effort to keep our history alive. Very informative displays and fair pricing to get in. Doesn't take long to go through it all, so if you're hoping for something to take up more time, not to be the only thing you plan for the day.

Interesting look at how people lived in Paul Revere's time period. Also provides some good facts about Paul Revere and his life and family. It is very short and the house only has a few rooms. The whole self guided tour took about 10 minutes. The top level is not open for viewing (third floor). The people working inside were wonderful. Tons of knowledge and happy to answer any questions and provide information. I was amazed at how much they knew. If you go check this out (it's only $5) make sure to chat with the people there, they really are want makes it worth it.

This is definitely one of the most visited places in Boston, and it's right on the Freedom Trail. The whole trail is under 3 miles, so you can do the tour inside and still have plenty of time to see the other sights. Driving around the house is a nightmare, because of the old cobblestones, narrow streets and general Boston traffic. Park somewhere else and enjoy the walk! This is a nicely preserved piece of American history and I'd recommend at least stopping to take some photos.

Certainly a must see in Boston when walking historical Freedom Trail. Self guided and only 5 dollars to get in this is super super busy. It feels very much like being herded like cattle or something. It's very small, very packed with people, and this makes it rather hard to have an appreciation for the incredible history you're viewing. Don't go in with super high expectations and you will not be disappointed, sadly I was very hopeful that walking through was going to be much more enjoyable and because of this can't say I had an amazing experience. I recommend this just about everyone it is certainly a nice destination to stop at. However the exception is for anyone with kids that can't read very well, there are lots of small signs telling about what you're looking at and not a lot of time to read them (being pushed from behind by more people, I can't stress how busy it was) this would be a disappointing experience for younger kids because of this.

What a wonderful experience! Took my almost 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son and honestly expected their eyes to just glaze over. But the guides were such amazing, engaging storytellers that my daughter was drawn in completely. She couldn't wait to tell her friends back in school all about the real story of the midnight ride and even my 4 year old was fascinated by much of the memorabilia there.

I hate to say this, but this location was only so so. While obviously the site is of great importance, the signage is dated and not as informative or insightful as I'd hoped. (For instance, they had holiday settings at the tables, but no indication of what those items displayed actually were.) The docents or staff weren't very helpful and it was hard to see the signage, which is very small print or displays if even one other person is looking at them. It's just four rooms really, and not a lot of original furnishings from what I could dicern. However, it's really the only spot that gives a sense of what town homes looked like in the revolutionary period.

There is a nice mixture of guides telling you about the different things and signs for you to read. I went in the summer, and the heat was not too bad. Very cool to see the house of Paul Revere. The tour is really short, so if you have smaller kids, this one is probably a good one. Only $5/adult, so its pretty cheap, and there is some cool silverware Revere created inside, as well as furniture original to Revere. When my wife and I were there, there was a City of Boston archaeologist on-site, doing a dig, and he was explaining what he was doing, and showing some of the stuff he came across, and that was very cool.

It is great to be standing in front of history. In all my business trips to Boston over the last 20 years I never had a chance to play tourist. I was lucky enough to come down for dinner and the house was located next door to the restaurant. It was closed when we arrived but I love that it is still standing and people can visit it. Also located out front is a brick trail that marks the Freedom Trail which was the ride Paul Revere took that faithful night to warn the colonist that the red coats were coming.

Fantastic historical sight. It's so interesting to walk through a house literally out of the 18th century. The house is full of signs with background information about Revere, the people who lived in this house, and what life was like in the 18th century. A guide stands in every room, ready to answer questions. You could spend hours reading everything slowly or get through the house and next door museum in about an hour.

Nice stop in Boston’s North End. It was $5 apiece for four of us. It’s a historic old house, relatively small. If you’ve bee anywhere similar it is not much different. The house is nicely furnished with pieces and artifacts from the period. There’s a curator in each area of the house, giving small presentations and answering questions. Out in the courtyard there was a “textile historian” giving a demo on clothing from the era. Got a few minutes to burn? This is an excellent site.

A very small and historic house on the Freedom Trail, in a compound somewhat expanded over the years by acquisition of adjacent properties. Tour guides seem knowledgeable and helpful. A small souvenir shop and restrooms are on site. No food facilities, but located in Boston's North End with plenty of restaurants and bakeries all around. Also see the iconic Paul Revere portraits and artifacts, including the famous "Liberty Bowl", at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts in the Fenway District.

You see his house. You ask questions. You leave. I guess the coolest part about it is Paul's house is still standing there. Pretty cool. But for me I think seeing it from outside was enough.

This was really neat to see. It's in the North End also known as "Little Italy" as there are 100 Italian eateries within 1 sq mile! I was bummed you couldn't use a camera inside the house. The little museum attached has some of the silver items Paul made. That was cool to see!

You can’t miss Paul Revere’s house when doing your walk of the Freedom Trail. At only $5, it is more than worth the price of admission. It is cash only though, so keep that in mind. It makes me so happy that Paul’s house has survived to the present day, when so many Founding Fathers’ homes no longer exist. The docents inside were great and able to answer everyone’s questions. The only negative is the crowds. There can be severe traffic jams in the rooms. It’s great that so many people are interested in Paul Revere, but for anyone with claustrophobia, this might be a bit of a problem. I recommend going maybe at the beginning or end of the day to avoid the crowds

It was neat little stop on the freedom trail. If you feel like spending some time, they have several workers in various rooms to give information and answer questions, which I thought was neat. It is the original house, and they have a lot of stuff from his time there, including some wall paper they believe to have been up, which is crazy and neat. Not an expensive stop.

It's always so interesting to me to see how people lived back then. In our current world of excess, Paul Revere's house really shows how he lived. Some of the flooring, beams, windows and furniture are original to Paul Revere. When you take a tour the guide is able to show you the original items. Even the gentleman at the gift shop had a lot of information regarding Paul Revere as we know about him and then after his famous ride. Great stop on the Freedom Trail!

4.15$ entry fee for a college student is a good match for the amount of content. There are a total of 4 small rooms, in the spirit of the 19th century. Not a lot of stuff to see, but still an interesting historic site to visit, wouldn't have learned anything about Paul Revere if not for this house. Also big thumbs up for being environmentally cautious, the free water bottle-refill is a nice practical addition.

Paul Revere's House is another stop during the red line tour. The house is rather small, but it has been kept the way people lived then. We also saw the Revere Bell, cast in 1804 and sold in 1805 to the Parish Church. Paul Revere is a central figure in the history of the United States, a true patriot. We are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to see how he lived. Don't miss it!

The Boston National Historical sites are so well maintained. The Freedom Trail is a must; make sure to take the time to walk it, and you won't regret it. That said, the Paul Revere house is fine, but don't feel bad if you don't actually go inside. You aren't missing a lot.

One of the most popular stops on the Freedom Trail, it's a rather small house with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Look but don't touch, of course. It's not somewhere you can spend hours, so plan accordingly. Big Pro: They are a partner of the National Park Service so you can grab a passport stamp here.

There were guides in the house but I couldn't hear everything they said over the crowd noise. Perhaps there is an app or audio recording that would give a guided tour? Interesting location in the old part of Boston that brings back a lot of history to consider. Restaurants are nearby and the area is accessible buy car, Uber, or on foot. Probably better to visit in the day as it is closed at night. Paul Revere was a silver Smith, and an important figure in the original Tea Party during the American revolution. Streets seem like they are original brick and very narrow. Probably better to visit in the summer as it cAn be cold a wet in the winter. I would not hesitate to go again.
