We got a 2-hour class as a family Christmas present. We had an absolute blast and felt safe and confident throughout the class. I can't recommend this enough! We loved working with Kevin and can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Oregon and decided to take a glass blowing class. Glass blowing is WAY out of my comfort zone and I was so nervous, but our instructor Kevin made everything better! He helped me every step of the way and gave me so much confidence! I would HIGHLY recommend Kevin to anyone wanting to try this. This art form is mind blowingly beautiful!

I simply cannot speak highly enough of Filip and his team. I had an unfortunate accident with an antique sentimental family heirloom grape vine glass basket lamp. I looked all over for replacement parts and had no luck. I called a few antique restoration places and no one wanted to take on my project. I had lost all hope, but still reached out to Boise Art glass thinking they too would deny me. Filip and his team were so kind and considerate. I knew this project would take time and Filip himself made each and every piece with detail. He even said it sat on his dining room table for weeks. It is no longer an original glass piece but it is even better. It has been restored by a modern day master craftsman and I truly could not be happier with this experience. Although I shed many tears over this situation, the tears I have in my eyes picking up this piece were tears of joy and gratitude.

My husband and I signed for a glass blowing class, which was a delightful experience! When we went to pick up our completed projects, my glass ball was a little lackluster, mostly like lightly blue glass, not very pigmented. I don’t know enough about glass to know why that would have happened, though I’m sure it’s something to do with me not having a clue what I’m doing, and they certainly could have just told me that this was all part of the artistic process or something. But without me even expressing my slight disappointment, they already had a plan to correct the situation. They sent me home with my original ball, and had one of their artisans create the ball I was trying to make, and it was done the next day. If they hadn’t done that, I would have just figured it was my fault, been a little disappointed with my project, and a little jealous of how beautiful my husband’s turned out! But they didn’t leave it at that and I felt that they went above and beyond to provide an awesome experience AND glass piece that looks amazing on my shelf. Truly Superior service! I am so happy with the experience I had, and the beautiful ball I ended up with.

What a cool place! So awesome watching true artisan's at work! Kevin was our instructor for our class, he was a lot of fun, very personable and a great teacher! We thoroughly enjoyed the class and are happy to have our new creations to show our handiwork. Highly recommend!!

We had a 4 person class for my family, visiting from out of state, which was amazing! Kevin was so patient, funny, and kind throughout, and we each made a different item with him. It was amazing - an absolutely great experience. Now, we hope our items can make it to us as they have to be shipped! But Kevin reassured is that it will be fine. Highly recommend this experience.

We took a community ed class here, and it was so cool! We were helped through the process of blowing glass and forming the base. The soap dispensers look awesome. It's also just a neat space, with an open studio and workstations where you can watch the glasswork. There's a gallery which is great for local gifts, and it looks like a coffee shop is coming soon.

What an amazing place! I took my company there for a glass-blowing class for our Christmas party. We rented the party room loft above the work area, brought in our own food and drink, and had a ball! Fillip was our instructor, and he was so very patient and helpful. He spent hours helping each person craft his own personal Christmas ornament while we all chatted, ate, and had a great time. I know they have other types of classes with metal and such, and this would be such a great evening out with friends. What a wonderful addition to the Boise community. I highly recommend Boise Art Glass Studio!

He walked us through, step by step, and made sure we were both safe and that the pieces would turn out perfect. It was one of my best birthday presents. I highly recommend it.

We signed up for a class from the Community Ed. Our experience was Awesome! Our reception was a lovely lady who was very welcoming. Our teacher was organized, prepared, super kind and knowledgeable. Cort made our group so engaged and interested in the process. All equipment was easy to use and we felt very lucky to be in this group of 5 people.

One of the "Best" experience ever.😀 We had our company Christmas Party there last night. Staff was un believable!!! So patient, knowledgeable, and great inclusiveness with all of us which totaled 9 of our staff and there spouse, partner. Large group that can get crazy 🤪 at times. They provided tables for our Potluck feast including table clothes. What can I say Boise Art Glass "ROCKS " Will be checking out some of the cool 😎 classes they offer soon. Glow in the Dark Ornaments any one? 🙂

Kevin Gray was our instructor and I can't say enough good about him and the whole class experience. Our small family of 3 (16 year old kid + two adults) had an amazing time in our 2 hour class. Kevin was patient, friendly and had a great sense of humor. He guided us expertly through the process and aided as needed with a fluidity that was so impressive. He made everyone feel comfortable, answered all questions like it was the first time he'd ever been asked that (even though he must get these questions a thousand times a week), kept everyone safe without it feeling strict, and stepped in at all the right moments to ensure we each had a finished piece to be proud of in the end. 10 STARS if I could. I recommend this as a family event, for birthday parties, or I hear they can even do larger events or company parties. Go! You'll love it!

I have taken classes at Boise Art Glass & Fire Fusion in the past, all being excellent experiences, but what prompted me to write this review is the custom order I had them recently make me. My beloved dog had passed earlier this year to which I had memorial ash art made into 2" marbles (where you can put ashes of loved ones in glass as a memorial). One of our favorite past times were to stargaze, to which I feel Boise Art Glass captured beutifly in my marbles. Cara at the front desk was incredibly helpful, compassionate, & caring. My marbles & my experience with Boise Art Glass is helping me heal, so I am so very greatful to them. Thank you Boise Art Glass.

I tried out Boise Art Glass for the first time a coupe of months ago as a date night with my hubby! I had the best time laughing, being wowed by the process and sharing a unique experience with the one I love. Court was our teacher in this two person class and did a phenomenal job. Our drinking glasses turned out perfectly with his instruction and help. We loved it so much we took our older girls the next month to another one of Court’s private classes! A must do for date night or family fun!

If you've never stopped in you're missing a jewel in downtown! Beautiful and amazing glass art! You can watch the artists creating pieces. They offer several classes in creating your own art! I have taken 3 of them now! I am over the moon with all of my experiences! Very dedicated staff, welcoming and patience. I have brought friends with me and each has been truly amazed. Perfect for entertaining visitors who come to town, going on group outings, or date nights. The team at Boise Art Glass are kind & dedicated art educators who do a fantastic job sharing their skill. This was an awesome experience! We had such a great time on our date night for our 35th anniversary. Kevin was so much fun to work with. I highly recommend him. But from meeting the other people there, I bet they are all fun to work with. We made pieces that looked like we were pros. I made a really cool paperweight and my wife made the oil decanter. I was expecting it to be like art class in middle school where everything you makes turns into an ashtray or a blob. But our pieces looked great. We can't wait to take out entire family there. And we will certainly go with other friends because it's so darn fun. It's like no other experience in Boise and you'll want to keep going back. My wife and I both HIGHLY RECOMMEND Boise Art Glass.

This is a fun and friendly place to visit. I was doing a two-person hour-long class with my friend. We were greeted immediately when we walked in and had fun looking around at all the pieces. Our class was even more fun than I expected. Shout out to Erin for making it such a great experience! I highly recommend taking a class. And since they have seasonal pieces you can make (like a fall pumpkin), you could go multiple times and always learn something new.

Wow! Blown away by this experience. Our instructor (Kevin) did an incredible job of walking us through the experience and making sure we had a great time. So many positive comments I could make about our experience as a whole and our instructor in particular. My wife and I did the 1-hour private class. This experience was a birthday gift to her. I shopped around in other cities (e.g. Dallas, Salt Lake City) where we would be vacationing in search of blown glass classes. I determined that Boise Art Glass had by far the most hands on experience and allowed visitors to participate in many more aspects of the experience than other shops. Kevin did an amazing job of walking us through the process, explaining each step, and making us laugh along the way. We ended up with two truly beautiful pieces of art and rocketing interest in the art of glass blowing. Great job Boise Art Glass and thanks for teaching us Kevin!

This was super fun to participate in! Both my husband and I loved making our own objects with the knowledgable instruction and assistance of our instructor Erin! She was so friendly and instilled confidence and properly prepared us for every step so that no one got hurt. The glass blowing class might seem a bit pricey at first but it is completely worth the price, especially because you leave with a great memory and get to take home something beautiful you made the next day!

Wow, this was an amazing experience. I took a class with Kevin, to blow a Pumpkin, and it was great. Kevin was patient, knowledgeable and super friendly. The pumpkins turned out great, and I felt like I was actually involved in the process of making them. 10/10 - I will be taking another class.

My husband and I took a one hour private glass blowing class with Caleb Goodwin. What an absolutely thrilling time we had. He gave us the perfect amount of assistance, and allowed us to use our creativity. We were always safe, with everything being explained as we went along. It was an exciting way to spend time and learn something that I've always found so beautiful. We will each cherish our pieces, and be back for more!

Took my 9 year old there for an initial exposure class. Made a bowl that you see him making and it came out great. Our teacher's name was Austin and he was very patient and explained things really well it came out better than we could have ever hoped we totally recommend this class as it's very cost effective and a great way to spend time with your kid

Super fun class, anyone of any experience level can go. They explain the process as they're walking you through it- and let you do most of the work but will not let you make an ugly creation. And you get a cool souvenir that you can use afterwards!

My wife and I spent about an hour with an instructor blowing glass, each of us making one piece. We were able to choose from a number of styles. Our instructor even helped us to customize the pieces slightly to what we were going to use the piece for. We also selected the colors we wanted added to the glass. It made for a great date and we are already looking at when we can go back with our teenagers.

I believe Matthew Jordan is one of the best glass blowers in the world. Not only is he an artist, but one of the kindest human beings you'll ever want to teach you about art,kindness, honesty and being yourself.
