Reviews of Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary
Wonderful wild space near Weaverville. Board walk is completely wheelchair-ready, with additional paths through the woods. Terrific place to bring children learning to see nature. Thoughtful interpretive signs. Rare preservation is a wetland! Thank you, Audubon Society!
Such a beautiful park! The boardwalk was nice and the interpretive signs were a wonderful addition and so educational. I loved the perimeter trail that goes around the lake for a total of almost 2 miles. This trail was clean and litter free.
This is my favorite place to experience nature in the area. Calm, serene and a wide variety of animals to see. During summertime, there are some turtles in the water that are huge and have to be decades old! You’ll also see families of geese and other North Carolina birds. The blooming flowers are beautiful and there are some amazing insects crawling around from time to time.
The Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is a wonderful wildlife oasis in the very busy north Asheville area. It is a great spot for a evening walk or morning birding expedition. Walk a 3/8-mile boardwalk through a wetland area and by the lake, complete with sitting areas along the way to soak up the views and watch birds. Beaver Lake provides resting, feeding and nesting spots for resident and migratory birds. The Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society, a chapter of National Audubon, manages the 10-acre sanctuary. It was established in the mid-1980s, when Audubon successfully led an effort to prevent construction of a strip mall on the site. It's free to visit.
For a guided bird walk, stop by at 9 AM on the first Saturday of each month from October through March.
From April through September, the walks are 8 AM on the first Saturday of each month. North of the sanctuary, a gravel path follows the lake's edge to the dam and spillway for an extended walk. No pets are allowed in the sanctuary.
Peaceful little walk right in Asheville with beautiful surroundings, even in mid February. We did the Perimeter Loop. Plenty of folks out enjoying the sunny weekend day but path didn't feel crowded. Parking lot was mostly full and can be a little tight for larger vehicles.
Very nice short boardwalk loop by the lake. Also a much longer loop trail around the whole lake. Even on a Saturday morning there was open parking spaces in their modest parking lot. Excellent free activity close to town. Would highly recommend if the weather is nice.
Nice trails and beautiful views. It wasn't too crowded. Just make sure you go to the far end of the parking lot if you want to go on the trail that goes all the way around the lake.
I go here all the time and still somehow see different things! I have seen rabbits, turkeys, shakes, and so much more. Even though the area to walk around is tiny it is fun and relaxing, I could go here everyday and not get bored.
When strolling around Beaver Lake we did a loop and stumbled upon the bird sanctuary. It was a weekday morning and there wasn’t many people around but the marshy grassland and swampy areas were a delight. There were wooden walkways throughout the small park and plenty of good descriptions for avid nature enthusiasts. Just a fun little spot to venture to when you need some much needed time outdoors.
My slice of serenity in the city.. wooden walkways meander through nature... stunning sunset views over beaver lake from two observation decks...perfect place to take a slow stroll to listen to the birds and soak in the delight of nature. Great place for solo time, dates, or more... quiet is appreciated... really cool tree for climbing (easy for adults and children)... there is road noise from busy Merrimon Ave but it lessens the closer you get to the lake!!
My wife and I visited early on a Friday morning and loved it. (Our first birding trip) We were the only two there! Very quiet and beautiful.. Together we spotted a Green heron, red- winged black bird, blue-gray gnatcatcher, a few cardinals, and a few i couldn't name. The fog rolled over the lake at 6am and set the mood for the morning.. We also saw least 25 turtles emerging from the lake! What a great morning. ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
I love walking around the Bird Sanctuary and Beaver Lake. Lots of different birds to see and hear. The trails and boardwalk are well maintained. For those interested in getting their 10k steps in, this is a great place to don't. Wonderful views of the lake and it's habitat. Perfect spot for a quick picnic near home.
What a treat to be able to enjoy this beauty for free! Convenient location near restaurants and stores, pick up a sammy and have a picnic! There are large fields by the lake, quiet paths, birds, turtles and a gorgeous view of the mtns! Find the awesome picnic table deep on the path in the shade! It's a great place to relax or go for run! No doggies without special tags. ($100.00 a year) That's the only downfall...
A small-scale paradise that brings us closer to the beauty and peace of Nature while informing us of the importance of our co-existence with Nature - we must protect it and ensure it remains intact, along with the wildlife that uses it, for future generations!!!!
Perhaps it was that we went to the right where not much activity is, but there weren't any signs of wildlife there very much. There were several in our group and perhaps we scared away everything. There were a few wild flowers that were pretty and though the water was kostly all gone from the big wide opening, I did find a little bit of a babbling water source. The huge old tree was beautiful that we discovered, indeed. It was nice to see some greenery there in the beginning of the what appeared to be a wetlamds area. It was pretty peaceful for the most part as well.
A lovely lake not far from downtown Asheville. It's nice to walk or run around and explore the natural scenery.
Is a really nice place to work you can see turtles and many birds you even can go fishing the place is big is nice option to work out also you can walk your dog
Visiting from out of state and we bumped into this beautiful Sanctuary. It was a very enjoyable walk and they were many others the day we visited. Saw lots of birds and the boards around the boardwalk were so informative. Ample parking. Highly recommend donating.
This is such a great spot in Asheville to take the dog and takes some photos. We went for a photo session and the setting is so peaceful and serene.
Nice place. Was quiet and a good place to walk. Go during spring or summer.
We start by walking the bird sanctuary for warm up and then enter at the far end of the dirt parking lot for a lovely wooded walk on the residential side of the lake and then come back on the parkside. Nice 2.25 mile walk or run. Plenty of birds to see.
Pretty area, easy walk, I am sure it is lovely in the spring! Only downside is no restroom.
Fun little walk around spot!
Nice walk and great info. Off season, so not a lot of birds were visiting.
A beautiful hidden treasure in the heart of the city of Asheville. If you are looking for somewhere to go for a short walk and just enjoy some fresh air and birds, this is a go to.
Always relaxing and refreshing. Small but lovely. The big old tree is worth the visit!
Beautiful, with a around the lake made of gravel.
Nice picnic place.
A little hidden gem in Asheville. It’s a little small but can hear many birds singing in the sanctuary. Just being patient and you will be rewarded seeing rare birds in the bushes.
Great running trail! Easy flat and nice view. A little close to a highway
Beautiful and quiet spot that's perfect for a leisurely walk. Note that this is a bird sanctuary and not some kind of zoo or exhibit, so don't expect to see a bunch of birds on any given visit (some reviews mention not seeing many birds). It's a wild forest area, and you'll hear the birds even if you don't see them!
Nice private lake, but there is a nice walking trail around the lake. The bird sanctuary is at the end of the lake.
Beautiful spot in the woods to watch wildlife, I don't believe there's any public restrooms
Perfect place for a small hike in the middle of nature. Best spot is the one with the sunset view near the lake. Highly recommend the visit.
This was a lucky find and a much needed break from writing. The bird sanctuary is a peaceful space in the middle of civilization. There are "boardwalk" trails as well as places where you can step off to get a closer look at fauna and flora. The signage was enlightening. After visiting the sanctuary, we took the 2-mile perimeter walk around Beaver Lake. Beautiful scenery, mountains, lake, water fowl, trees, gorgeous homes surrounding the lake, and a meadow of wild flowers on the Merrimon Avenue side. Definitely check this out for a peaceful afternoon.
Nice wetlands, forest, and park habitats. Trail is a short loop, maybe 1/3 mile, but there’s a path along the lake too. Good variety for birding.
nice walk, short trails. didn't see many birds
It was a good and relaxing experience . However, I did not see birds apart from some ducks
The walk was wonderful...lovely place to spend the evening
Nice preserve. Very accessible. Appropriate for all age groups.
Short visit. Can't wait to go back. More than happy to leave a donation at this place. The world needs more spaces like this.
I love going here for inner peace and reconnection with nature without having to drive out of town
Excellent loop around the boardwalk
Such a nice and easy stroll. There is a longer loop around the lake but we stuck to the bird watching loop. It was so relaxing, with beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommended! Everything seemed wheelchair accessible also.
Beautiful place, well kept; attracts many wonderful birds!
a very quiet and clean place where you can breathe fresh air and clear your mind
Beautiful hike around lake and nice bird sanctuary
Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is located 3 miles north of Asheville along Merrimon Ave. The lake is directly adjacent to busy Merrimon Ave and circles around for a couple of miles through residential areas along Lakeshore and Lakeview Drive. In addition, there is a protected bird sanctuary with a raised wooden boardwalk that adjoins the parking lot. Visitors can enjoy walking, photographing, or simply sitting while enjoying the various wildlife in a natural protected environment.
Despite the traffic congestion, I enjoyed my walk around Beaver Lake. The backside away from Merrimon Ave was quite serene and pretty. While walking, you will come upon a couple of old compact strands of trees. I first encountered a small grove of spreading eastern pine with ivy growing up the entire length of their trunks. Further on, I came upon a small thicket of western pine. These erect trees have a distinct crowned top. Arriving back at the parking lot, I took a tour of the small protected bird sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to year-round and migratory birds, along with many other species of animals. Depending on the time of your visit, you may see finches, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, herons, turtles, etc. The wetlands are in a natural protected state built upon the silt deposited from the streams entering the lake. It remains marshy year-round and is an excellent habitat for the residing birds and animals. Along my walk, I came upon an old spreading oak tree? Often photographed, I enjoyed sitting there contemplating the serene setting away from the busy outside world.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary. I encourage others to visit when they are in the area.
Lovely little walk. About 1/3 of a mile
We went later in the morning. Didn't really get to see many birds, but we were able to hear a lot of their singing. One of the kids crossed a little brook and took us into a densely wooded area with poison ivy. A very helpful man told us about joule weed, which we rubbed all over. We haven't had any rashes after 2 days.
Very nice spot for birding. Pretty and well maintained.
Sweet and beautiful sanctuary. Pretty quick jaunt and perfect for budding bird enthusiasts. Not too long of a journey so youngins do well!
Nice walking trails, with a separate jogging trail. Limited parking at the entrance. No pets allowed inside the bird sanctuary. Nice area with other paths that circle the lake, and we saw some birds. Not all the trails are good for strollers.
This is a wonderful spot in town to get an easy taste of nature. There's no dogs, no joggers, no bikes, etc. This is a place of peaceful tranquility. A place to relax and enjoy the sounds of happy birds. A place to see some avian species rarely seen otherwise in these parts. It overlooks Beaver Lake, and it is simple to connect your nature walk with a lake loop for more exercise. It is convenient to numerous local eateries and a brewery.
This is one of my favorite places in the whole city. Excellent place to go for a walk to clear one's head. I've gotten to see some really cool birds here, and it's so great that the area will remain protected habitat for them. They need it so badly.
I really appreciate the fact that the public can come and go freely, and that there are rules against running so as to not disturb wildlife.
We walked the bird path and the 2 mile trail around lake. We only saw 4 birds, lol
Nit it is a beautiful area. But if you need bathrooms you are out of luck. It had rained the night before and back side of trail was muddy. Nice place
Nice stroll, lots of turtles and butterflies 🦋 …
Beautiful. An oasis of green in the town of Asheville. Many bird varieties. Natural landscapes. Plenty of benches to sit and take it all in. Two nice observation decks overlooking a small lake.
Pretty place for a short walk in nature on a boardwalk. Informative signs, plenty of places to sit, and even a picnic table. For exercise, you could take the longer perimeter trail around the lake. Be prepared for mud if it has been raining.
Nice , not too long of a trail.
Perfect for kids. Not all the way good for strollers but half way you’ll be ok to use a stroller.
Lots of shade :)
Very pretty and well maintained grounds. The boardwalk loop has nice views of the lake, and we saw a lot of different wildlife. We spotted a blue heron, which was pretty cool. If you like nature, it's definitely worth your time.
Absolutely fabulous place to take a nice, peaceful walk. Even during the winter, there are plenty of different species to observe. Several people were picnicking there as well. There's also a boat launch close by for kayakers.
Beautiful spot! I enjoyed it immensely.
To escape from reality & get into nature the Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is your place. Being a city girl from Chicago this place is just what you need to recharge your soul.
The best place in and around Asheville to observe and/or photograph birds, insects and turtles. My favorite place for a walk
Cool little place. Nice short easy walk. Could use a little maintenance on the walking path. Considering it was free, no complaints. Wish there were more birds on our visit.
Lovely place! Birds, turtles, flowers, and other fun flora and fauna. Highly recommend.
Always very peaceful and full of life, short walk to the lake from and thru the Sanctuary. Please remember to donate at least $1 for parking and upkeep, there is a green pole with a slot where you can drop it in.
Good place to stop for a nice short nature home after going out to eat. The parking isn't the best of you go on a nice day. There is also a nice long walking /jogging trail by the lake in the same area.
This time of year (3/3/21) the greenery hasn't quite shown up. Today was a beautiful sunshiny day and the breeze was light and the temperature mild (low 50s) and as such the trail was inviting.
Lovely place for a relaxing stroll. Expect to see birds and turtles!
Needs a little bit of upkeep but it is a beautiful walk!
Good place to take your children and teach them about birds and other animals. They have signs so you can read information, we enjoyed learning the different bird sounds.
Great place to walk and relax!
July 28, 2018- I and my mom was first time there. Oh so beautiful 😍 views of lake, etc. Watching birds, lakes, turtle 🐢, trees 🌲🌳 very bigger trees, flowers. Very neat walk on path wooden floors. I and my mom love it. 💕💜 …
This little sanctuary is a great place. When we visited, there was a volunteer cutting the invasive ivy off the trunks of trees. Please recognize species that run amok and do not plant them.
A great little wooded boardwalk loop on the side of Beaver Lake. A gorgeous area to walk or to just relax and appreciate the birds and nature. This area is on the smaller side but if anyone wants a more extensive walk, the bird sanctuary does connect to the walking trail around Beaver Lake.
We've had record breaking rainfall and over half the lake is mud. Where's all the water? Probably more beautiful in the warmer weather. At least a third of the trails are blocked off and you have to walk by the traffic on Merrimon rather than by the lake. Happy the birds have somewhere to be at. Will try again.
I loved this place because I get to see the turtles. I love turtles! I love to feed them fresh fruit and leafy greens. Meal worms and specialty river shrimp from pet store. But please don't feed them Bread. It isn't good for them. I will miss them when they hibernate.
Nice boardwalk and peaceful walk.
This is one of those places I hate to review simply because I don't want anybody else to know about it. But because I want it to stick around I'm going to write a review. If you need a nice peaceful walk in a place that feels like Sanctuary this is it. Please leave a dollar or two in the donation box for those people who are doing a wonderful job of providing us a place to roam with the hummingbirds.
Nice place for a short walk. Didn't see too many birds; probably visited at the wrong time of day. They should set up some different types of bird houses or platforms to encourage nesting in the area.
A wonderful experience! The kids love to walk the trails and learn more about the local wildlife! It's become a seasonal family tradition to watch the turtles and have picnics.
It was cold and rainy when I visited the sanctuary. This negatively effected bird and turtle sightings. However, I will be returning in better weather. The weather did not distract from the landscape and the trail. There were beer cans and litter prevalent which upsets me especially in an area dedicated to nature and wildlife.
What a great spot. Packed a picnic, walked the boardwalk trail and watched the sun set over the lake. Enjoyed the boards with information throughout and the paper bird list at the entrance to note what you might expect to see. So glad we found this treasure and will be back.
Walked the bird sanctuary and it was nice. I hear there is a creepy guy who walks around the park acting like a park ranger harassing people. I've seen him before chasing after people. I didn't see him at the bird sanctuary. Be very careful about some of the parking spaces at this park, there are dips and holes.
Nice walk. Seems like more for the golfing community around the lake.
Very pretty, serene pathway and scenic walkway. A little slice of nature that's easy to get to. It can be a little crowded so expect other folks to be around but it's a great place for a walk.
One of my favorite places to just go and relax in Asheville. Take a pair of binoculars. You have to have a permit to walk your dogs their FYI. And yes you can use the lake non-motorized crafts. Parking's at a minimum so plan your visit if it all possible during the week rather than on the weekends
Nice walk around natural garden and enjoyed seeing many birds and flowers
Void of bird life today. Nice walk.
Very nice wooden pathway and informative and fun signage. Parking for about 10-15 cars.
Simple and pleasant to walk through
Possibly a nice place it has potential
Scenic walks, but difficult to find parking and costly for dogs.
Nice spot to relax and spot some birds. Also great place for family pictures.
Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is small and dense with a wealth of plant and animal, mostly bird, life. At least, that's what I saw, when I visited with my sister on a recent June Saturday morning. As we arrived, a man with a 35mm digital camera with a long lens was getting in his car. I asked him if he'd seen any good birds. He said no. We walked through at a moderate pace and saw at least a dozen birds, including common species, such as Chipping Sparrows and Carolina Wrens and more interesting ones, such as the Eastern Towhee. We heard many more birds that we did not identify. There is a little bit of poison ivy and nettles at the edges of the trails, which are easily avoided, if you know what to look for. We enjoyed our walk and continued around the Beaver Lake trail. We even picked a few wild raspberries, what we used to call "red caps," when I was a child.
Lovely, quiet spot. Ran into some volunteers, dedicated and great attitudes. Took the circuit around the lake, an easy, level stroll.
Great place for walking and jogging.
Relaxing, free of charge public park dedicated to learning about nature, particularly birds, plants, and local ecosystems. Take your children as an educational experience, or just enjoy the very walkable, quiet surroundings.
A nice place for responsible people to enjoy the scenery and bird estuary. Be sure and stay hydrated while outdoors here in scenic North Asheville .
Great little walk through the trees and wetlands on wooden walking paths. There is a really nice overlook on one end of Beaver Lake - really gorgeous place to watch the sunset!
Quite a surprise we stumbled upon. Beautiful evening stroll.
What a joy. Lots of birds, benches, overlooks of lake. Excellent signage. Trail was nice and quiet. Don't forget to donate at the parking lot.
A nice walk nothing spectacular. You walk in a boardwalk and can see nice plants in the area. The day we were there it was raining so we did not see many birds.
Great birding location. Small trails, big trails, boardwalks and a beautiful lake. Check out the Ebird checklists!
My favorite was the chart of the bird language. Do you know what bird says 'who cooks for you?'
This is a lovely quiet place to go for a walk in nature and almost forget about cars and such. There are informative signs about the birds and good observation places.
Serene spot to relax
Very few birds present midday in September, but a very pleasant short walk on a good trail -- including a view of Beaver Lake
Nice to see a piece of nature preserved for such a nice variety of birds. Kids especially will love the turtles swimming around with the fish AND the kid in me also loved the dragonflies
Very nice walk around beaver lake. Easy to follow trail.
My favorite place to go for a quiet walk through nature. Handicap accessible,
Plenty of shade in the summer, plenty of sun in the winter.
Very nice place to walk or bird. Boardwalk is slick after rain but it keeps you out of the mud. Free but donations appreciated.
Easy walk. Peaceful. Saw many varieties of birds, even a turkey hen with 8 poults.
Nice place to meditate and look at nature, with the pleasant sound of traffic in the background.
Very beautiful and amazing views
Beautiful place, did not see many birds but there was still plenty of other things to see. Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is not dog friendly just for others to know.
Little oasis near the city. Not necessarily worth a separate trip but, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, it's a small place to decompress and take a momentary deep breath. And it's free without charge.
Turtle heaven!
Nice walking trails around beaver lake
Always a beautiful place. Too many people walking around mask less today though so we did not hang around too long
Very nice walking trails and a great view of the lake. It's free but accepts donations. Park closes at sunset.
Quiet, calm place to relax by the lake. Donation based. Plenty of seating. Can't wait to go back in the Spring time
My daughter and I love this place! We see different wildlife every time we go, and enjoy watching the turtles.
Adorable location a little to Suburban but we did see a bald eagle and a bunch of other adorable Birds I couldn't find the Kingfisher but I heard it.
Such a peaceful place to walk, enjoy nature with your kids or sit and read a book overlooking Beaver Lake.
It was cool because it was a educational nature walk but... I was a little disappointed that it was more of a park in the middle of a neighborhood than I expected
Awesome little hidden gem of Asheville, and has always been a great place to see and learn about nature and the world around us. Great any time of the year.
Limited parking but beautiful walk. Need better road crossing for families with small children (crossing light with button and sidewalks)
Awesome place for a quiet getaway. There are beautiful views, a nice boardwalk and a fantastic climbing tree.
We did not see a lot of birds and the data winner. However, it's a beautiful Park.
Nice place for a walk. Bird sanctuary has nice walkway and benches to rest and look around.
Lovely "oasis" in the middle of Asheville!
Lovely place for a peaceful walk and just to sit & relax.
Such a nice place to walk, so peaceful. The boardwalks make it easy walking for all!
Wonderful place to walk. Paths have really been improved and widened
Very scenic and family oriented
Great, safe, clean, quiet place. Wear walking shoes, bring a camera, and enjoy the birds, they really are everywhere.
Beautiful area to walk around. I saw so much wildlife in such a short amount of time!
Excellent place to go watching close to Asheville! Trails are easy to walk and there's always something interesting there.
Great place for evening walks.
Beautiful nature retreat/sanctuary just seconds from the bustle of Merrimon Ave. Love the work they are doing here. Asheville needs more places like this!
Great place to chill in nature and watch turtles and hummingbirds. Needs upkeep around walkways.
Beautiful walk through nature and by the lake. I love to come here and just sit.
A great, great restaurant. Atmosphere, menu options and service were all top-notch!
For a metro area like Asheville, Beaver Lake is an awesome birding area with an easy to walk boardwalk and occasional benches and viewing areas.
Nice chunk of nature close to downtown - well maintained.
Beautiful views of the lake, lots of wildlife.
A bunch of beautiful birds bouncing between branches basking in broad bright beams of light
We like strolling through the bird sanctuary and then moving on to walk the Perimeter Path whenever we visit Asheville!
Nice little sanctuary to go for a walk or jog and exploring nature, learning about nature's creatures.
Had a great experience for my first time walking through. Will go again and tell my friends!
Saw birds. It is aptly named.
Quiet. No birds visible on our trip in June but a nice visit.
There is much Japanese honey suckle, garlic mustard, multiflora rose, and signs urging people to plant native species.
It is a pretty place to walk, but the crowds make it less friendly for birds than the name indicates.
Great resting place, or activity achievement! Bird watching, or just walking... Great place for both!
It's beautiful, but they could use a couple trash cans.
Nice place to Walk. Appears to be one of the safer areas in Asheville to walk and get exercise.
A beautiful park area that I highly recommend visiting for mild walking, and enjoying nature.
One of my favorite places to relax and take pictures in the downtown area
Highly visited short trail. Many birds about.
Awesome place. So well kept up. Animals very content
I saw no birds. I did see smelly children
Awesome place for birds! Great pics of birds!
So many birds. Bring binoculars
Beautiful place for a relaxing and easy walk.
Would be nice to have public restrooms
Beautiful hidden gem. Great place to stroll and nature watch.
Beautiful place, nice walking trail around the lake.
It's not a large park, but there are generally good birds here. You will want optics.
A nice short boardwalk trail around a bird sanctuary
Beaver Lake in the bird sanctuary is one of the best short walks in Asheville. I must try.
Awesome place to dissappear and take in a little natural beauty
Such a pleasant surprise. Beautiful. Rustic. Breathtaking great blue herons.
Very nice walking trails, quiet, easy to find
I love this place. It’s beautiful whether it’s sunny or frozen in the winter.
It was absolutely wonderful and all the people we encounter we're really pleasant
Easy 2.2 mile loop and bird sanctuary boardwalk. Parking off Merriman Ave.
Beautiful spot with great signage about the birds. Looks like the vines are taking over, though.
Wonderful vibration connected through the sounds of birds here... alignment embraced!!
Sat in a tree and talked about life. Nice place to walk around and see a turtle
Is super green, which I love. But there's very little parking.
Great place to have lunch and hear the birds!
Well maintained.
So worth the visit to take in a great walk and get back to nature
Nice little stroll through some wildlife!
Beautiful and scenic walking trail.
Great place for a short stroll. Lots of info on birds.
There were so many hummingbirds in one area and near the lake there is a bunch of turtles
Serenity is all around there
Beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a lunchtime walk.
Beautiful lake in the middle of Town. The sanctuary was nice, too.
Great place for a peaceful, short, sweet walk.
Pleasant walk. Most people are not there for the birds though.
Nice place, but too close to busy road.
Great place to walk and observe birds!
Beautiful 2 mile walk around the lake
Wonderful to come home and visit
Nice place to walk, pretty scenery.
Serene and calming. A beautiful place to walk and listen.
I saw the most hummingbirds in one place that I have ever seen in my life.
Love this place. Its a nature lovers paradise.
