Reviews of Alaska Law Enforcement Museum
Excellency! A bit crammed in space, but overall worth the $5 entrance. The theatre monitor showing a historical documentary on Alaska was a nice touch.
Great place to visit with the family. Staff very knowledgeable & accommodating. Worth checking out.
This little building is jam-packed full of memorabilia and by-gone equipment. Well worth the stop over to learn how they currently police and used to police an extremely remote state.
Visited June 10th with wife and kids. Great start to a 2 wk vacation. Recently retired from a SoCal police department. My patch is in the Mail.
Very cool museum, gave a cool tour. Lots of information and things to learn about alaska and how the law enforcement came to be. Cool memorabilia. And short documentary to watch. Thanks for info
Good bang for your buck. Informative about police work and the challenges unique to Alaska.
This agency has been intact longer than Alaska has been a state! Go see if you're in town.
Well designed, small museum. Every inch of the place is covered in interesting artifacts. The staff were very helpful, with lots of interesting things to say about all of the things on display. Can’t wait to go again to see the things I missed!
It's a small little place, but if you have an hour or so on your hands I would definitely recommend going by. It's a very nice set up with some very cool information (if you're an Alaskan Native or Tourist) and the staff are very friendly.
Very friendly staff, many interesting items on display. Supported by donations, no set admission price. About 20 minutes to take a quick look at everything.
Everything there on the history of the Alaska State Troopers. A current story book hard bound sold for $50. I thought a ridiculous price. I bought the $20 paperback which I read and when finished I donated. Too many stories by the same people.
We have been there 4 times and find it rather interesting and we love it alot. We live in Dublin Georgia.
See for yourself what the love is in the gallery. Paintings speak and echo of art is loud through ages.
Great little hidden gem! Just awesome things to see and very knowledgeable staff
I enjoyed it but it might just be because I'm a retired NYPD cop
Love the law enforcement patches from around Alaska. Kotzuebue patch is my favorite
The awesome thing about it was it had the Hudson hornet highway patrol
Small museum detailing the history of the Alaskan State Patrol.
Fun place to get info, free admission
