I am so pleased with the service I received from HOD - from initial booking to completion of the move and payment, everything was so seamless and transparent and everyone I dealt with was so helpful. The movers coordinated arrival and logistics with me prior to moving day, arrived right on time (earlier than expected, actually), were so incredibly efficient and thorough with the move and even accommodated and worked around some logistical hiccups on my end. I so appreciated the support I received and the fact that they took very good care of my belongings. Couldn’t be happier to have chosen and worked with HOD for my move.

My original moving company canceled two hrs after they were supposed to arrive!!! They also trying to get me to spend more $$ beyond the quote, they were trying to nickel and dime me down to every box I had. I called every local mover at 11a to see if they could get someone out or fit me in for Monday. I already had painters scheduled around my original move date, so the last minute cancellation really ruined my plans. The owner Justin kept in contact with me throughout the day to let me know if there was a possibility to fit me in. At 5p, Justin, let me know that there was a possibility that he could have someone take on my job around 8p. He also understood that I had a budget that I couldn't go over. He worked with me with a good price and let me know he could have it done within 3hrs, so I wouldn't go over what we agreed upon. At 8p Justin let me know that he was going to actually take the job, he heard the distress in my voice throughout the day & knew that he couldn't allow my painting schedule to be delayed. He said, "if you are available we will come and move you today!!!" They came alright!! They drove from Delaware to Cherry Hill, NJ. As soon as they arrived, I showed them what I needed to move and they got to work! They moved everything from my apt to the truck within 1 hour! I was in complete shock! They packed an unlimited number of boxes in the truck & didn't increase my price at all. I was able to get more on the truck for the same price the other movers were charging for less stuff. Justin, Aaron & James were moving like lighting!! I was in awe! I have never seen movers so focused and committed to getting the job done in a timely manner like they did. They were organized, professional & efficient. They quickly dissembled my dining & sewing room tables in a blink of an eye. They had a system of how to pack the truck correctly to maximize the space. I couldn't believe only an hour went by!! They took care with my items, especially my prized marble dining room table. I've movers before that didn't know how to properly protect my items & I had them scratched & ruined. I was grateful for the extra care the team took to ensure all of my items were safely moved. They took about an hour & 45 min to unload since I had two flights of stairs, yet they still moved at a fast past than I expected. They reassembled all of my items and placed all of my items per the label on the boxes. They asked me for direction of where I wanted the bulk items to go once & remembered everything I said. I am sorry this review is so long, but I am so grateful that Justin & his team went above and beyond to help me today! It was a longshot but they came through and made it happen! I know this was a big night for the NBA (NBA All Star Game), yet they wanted to help a desperate customer in need!! I will only use them for when I move again. This company is THE BEST, hands down! Chad, Justin and Duane make an awesome trio when you have to move. All three young men were kind, courteous, respectful and very hard workers. We were quoted 4.5 hours and it was done in the allotted time and it was a professional job, not rushed. I contacted them via email for moving services and got a response immediately. That was the first good sign! They showed up on time. That was the second good sign. Spending 5 hours with them to move all my furniture and numerous boxes, etc., stopping at a Storage facility and picking up a sofa at another house they were professional and didn’t miss a beat. These are smart, strong and very nice guys who I would hire again in a heartbeat! I will definitely recommend them to anyone. You will be impressed and not disappointed at all.

These guys did a great job. Very courteous and professional movers. We moved on a cold muddy day. No mud tracked into either house. They disassembled, wrapped, and assembled all furniture. Very responsive to phone calls and easy to get a hold of. Would recommend to everybody. I also used them on another occasion on a short notice. I bought furniture from a warehouse and loaded my truck. Realized I couldn't unload myself. We called HOD and they sent 2 guys over in less than 2 hours.

I recently went through a very frustrating & challenging international move. Thank goodness for Hands on Deck, they were the only bright spot in the entire process. Their customer service team was outstanding & super patient dealing with ever-changing dates & times, the moving crew was hard working yet pleasant, & Justin, the manager, made it all happen perfectly. These guys completely saved my moving day!! I booked another moving company through Craigslist and they texted me 30 minutes after their scheduled arrival time to say they were unable to come at all. I panicked and started to make frantic phone calls. I was able reach Justin from Hands On Deck Moving, who assured me that they would help us move THAT SAME DAY! The movers he sent, Tyree and Terrence were AMAZING! They were completely professional, prompt, fast, hardworking and very careful with our property. Not only that, they were super sweet with our kids (three boys, ages 9, 6 and 4) despite the fact that our 4 yo insisted on talking to them non-stop! I can't tell you how much they made what could have been a disaster of a day very successful! We were all very happy to sleep in our new house in beds as opposed to sleeping bags that night! Not only were these movers great but their rate was awesome as well! Please extend our gratitude to the guys, they really went above and beyond. Greg, Nate & Terence showed up on moving day with a calm confidence that immediately put me at ease. They were polite, friendly and always had a smile when asked a question. Greg arrived first and assessed the situation and asked a few questions to get an overall view o what was what. He listened carefully when I mentioned an antique that wasn’t sturdy and relayed all info to his colleagues as I did him. They handled all my belongings as if they were their own and took their time to strategically place them in the truck with care, These guys were a great joy to do the task at hand Which was already proving to be a stressful time for me. Chad and Sam worked very fast. They moved my storage unit and my boxes plus furniture from one house to another in great time. There was nothing too big or heavy and nothing to small. It was very easy to book online and despite my haphazard packing, everything arrived safely at my new home more than 20 miles away. I live in south jersey and these guys made the trip with the perfect size large truck and put everything exactly where i had labeled/instructed. Why do it yourself when you can hire help at a reasonable prices? Our friends were calling us this afternoone asking if we were still moving or did we need help and we were relaxing on the couch with a beer by that point. Forget the stress and hire this team!

Great guys! Did my moving in 1 1/2 hours. However, note that there is a 3 hour minimum and 8% credit card transaction fee. Just have cash handy. I will recommend for moving.
