The wonderful team at Delaware Moving and Storage has helped me move for the second time. They are great to deal with from the first phone call to having your furniture and belongings moved in. Their team for my move was Manuel and Bryce. They were amazing! They did a great job of taking inventory, protecting the floors and walls, preparing the furniture with blankets, cardboard, and plastic wrap. They took great care in moving the furniture out of one place and delivering and moving it into the other. They did a wonderful job helping me place my furniture exactly where I wanted it. Manuel and Bryce were professional, friendly, and worked very well together. I needed to move my the furniture and items I was keeping from my parents home to my garage and home. I was able to schedule the appointment quickly and got pricing by phone upfront. There were no surprise fees and the move happened a bit earlier than expected. It was a 100 degree day and the men never stopped working. I was impressed how hard they worked in the heat, how professional they were and how careful. Everything was moved and delivered in the same condition. I used this company 10 years ago as well when I moved into my own home and will gladly use them again! I highly recommend!

Great experience! A coordinated move through my relocation company, my first contact with Delaware Moving was from Melissa confirming date and time range for pick up. I was called an hour before as promised with in the allotted time frame. Robert and Kasa were professional and helpful, and while packed by owner, they were very considerate of my things and went the extra mile in helping me pack one last item. As this is a 150 mile move, with storage, etc. felt reassured and confident all would go well for delivery based on my interaction with Robert. Thank U Delaware Moving & Storage !

This cross-country move went very well. The lead coordinator, Sandy, was very responsive and patient with all our questions. The driver, Cliff, and his team, packed up our items with care and expertise, accommodating with special and fragile items. We had the same delivery driver at both ends, and his team, were also professional, and cared for our home as if it was their own, moving large items carefully to prevent damage, and putting together our furniture. If we ever had to move again, I would always choose Delaware Moving & Storage/Wheaton World Wide Van Lines. I highly recommend them.

We were very happy with the service that Delaware Moving provided us. Kasa & Manny were our movers, and arrived right on time. Our move went smoothly, and none of our belongings were damaged. Both movers wore masks and gloves, since we moved during Covid. My husband and I helped the entire time, so things went pretty smoothly. The move turned out to be about 5 hours, and the total cost was right about $900, Delaware Moving is the Best.

hands down some of the nicest, most caring, compassionate, helpful and understanding people! today my grandparents moved into an independant living facility and delaware moving and storage were the ones who helped them move. Jeremy and Adrian were INCREDIBLE! they took their time, listened to my grandparents every concern and took those concerns seriously. my grandmother was very wary about moving to where they did and both jeremy and adrian did everything in their power to make this transition as easy and comfortable as possible for her. i highly highly highly recommend this company and more importantly these two Amazing men!

Excellent service from Kasa and his crews. Both the move out and move in crews we’re professional and courteous. No broken, missing, damaged items. Both homes flooring and walls were insulated and crews made sure not to damage or soil anything. Curtis went well above and beyond with check ins and made sure my family was as comfortable as possible, answering questions and calling for follow up from the week before till the week after the move. I had Gene, and Cairo., and Jose help… they were extremely positive and worked diligently throughout the 7 hour move. Yes… DMS is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Punctual, professional, knowledgeable, extremely hard working, didn't balk about moving arcade style pinball machine, regulation air hockey table, oversized massage chair, or big stereo. Alot of people can pick up some furniture and move it and call themselves a company. But DMS has proven themselves year after year for over 40 years. Best movers, packers, military moves, they even have the containers on wheels, which i will be getting in march.

Most people like to do reviews when they have a bad experience but I like to give credit where credits is due especially in these trying times. . I recently moved from Bear to Pike Creek. My salesman was Ben. He was so professional and answered all of our questions and concerns. We haven’t moved in the last 30 years so a lot has changed since then. The guys ion the truck were right on time. They worked really hard all day. They eased my anxiety about the whole thing. They also were respectful. At the time there was no mask mandate but when they got here I asked them to wear one because I have a lot of medical issues. I felt bad seeing them huffing all my furniture up and down my stairs but they never complained. My experience was awesome. If I have to move again someday (hopefully not) but I would definitely use Delaware Moving and Storage again. If any of my friends or family decide to move I will be referring them to Ben and Delaware Moving are Storage.

I'm not sure how review this company, some of their packers were great, some, not so much. I caught one of the movers breaking into my luggage and stealing the contents. I got it back cause the supervisor saw it but really? Not sure if it was the same company but our things were put into large wooden crates for shipping across the country and we had a TON of stuff get broken. They lost paperwork and the whole claim process has been a royal pain, probably time to speak to our legal department honestly.

On time with our delivery, we settled into our new home with minimal stress. This company is TOP NOTCH!!! We used their services for moving help and storage, and are so glad we did. Everyone that we came in contact with was just so helpful and friendly and accommodating and flexible. Reasonable prices for storage units and moving help, and worth every penny!! We had a really tight budget for moving, and this company was willing to provide lots of different options that worked with our budget. I contacted them multiple times with changes to our moving plan, even up until the day before, and each time they were able to accommodate whatever changes we needed and provide help exactly when we needed it. Their movers are friendly, SO helpful, patient, and super hard workers. They protected all floors and surfaces while they worked, wrapped things, and somehow managed to safely pack every single thing we needed into our storage unit. All of that in 98 degree temps without a single complaint. When unpacking, the movers moved everything into place, set up beds, even tightened loose screws into furniture as they worked. You will not be disappointed if you choose Delaware Moving and Storage!!

I recently used DE Moving and Storage to move out of a house and into a 1 bedroom apartment (serious downsizing). I had 2 tasks to move some items to a COW (container on wheels) and some items to my apartment. I had everything color coded with yellow or white masking tape so that made it easy. But the 3 of them had to negotiate the COW because all of my items would not fit. They were very skilled and patient and did a GREAT job with some huge furniture. They didn't nick or bang anything at either place and REALLY had to work hard to get my massive refrigerator out when my front door would not come off. Kasa, Bobby, and Nathaniel were great and were very professional, polite, neat, and skilled at what they were doing. It was extremely hot that day and I actually felt so sorry for them - but they kept moving. They take moving your furniture as if it were their own personal furniture. Sandy and all of the office personnel were also so helpful and I was not the easiest customer as my details seemed to change daily. I am very pleased and impressed! DE Moving & Storage is great in my book and I am so glad I decided to use your services. And the pricing is not at all outrageous either. I look forward to the next stage of my move next year.

I moved this past Friday and the team that came out were exceptional! I believe their names were Zach, Christian, and Josh. The team had great senses of humor and worked well together. They each new their role and worked non-stop. I ordered them subs/cheesesteaks (I’m sure they get pizza all the time) and they were so grateful. They only took a break long enough to eat. They were aware of items that had sentimental value that were fragile and let me know they would take good care of them, which they did. I felt confident in the team and was thrilled with the work they did. As I unpacked, I only had two broken items and they were my fault because of the way I packed them!! I highly recommend this company and especially these guys. They went above and beyond. Worth every penny....

While renting a trailer we discovered that the never-before used light wiring on our SUV didn't work properly. The Uhaul agent helping with the connections was very patient and methodical in diagnosing the problem, and worked with us to arrange a manager to meet us during off-hours after we fixed the problem to obtain the trailer. The manager helpfully and quickly got us hooked up the next day, and even promised to extend our contract an extra day so we could finish the move without penalty; in fact, he actually extended it two days. This was the best possible resolution of what was otherwise a stressful crisis. Kudos for making our move a success!

Hired DE Moving and Storage for a local move into a new home in April 2018. The crew they sent were prompt, even calling ahead to make sure I knew they were arriving. They worked hard and were very friendly and courteous. They wasted no time in getting the job done. Pricing is more than fair and everyone was easy to deal with. There were no surprises.

They were punctual and professional. At first glance I thought they did a great job moving from one house to another. However, after the move was over I realized they knicked some furniture and left scrapes on the walls at both residences. What was most disconcerting for me is that I had a ladder moved from the garaged but it did not show up at the new residence. I called three times and left an email with the initial sales rep and no one will return my calls with an answer as to whether my ladder was left on the truck or simply taken. Pisses me off because they had no problem taking my money but won't give a courtesy call to help resolve my issue. I will not recommend.

Delaware Moving and Storage moved my mother from her home to a nursing facility in December. She was very nervous about the move but the driver and crew were excellent. The driver walked through the house to see what was being moved. Made sure to box the mattress and box spring and wrap the other furniture prior to loading the truck. They had everything loaded quickly and joked with my mother along the way which made the move much easier for her. They brought a chair in for her to sit in while they unloaded the truck which was done quickly and efficiently. They checked to make sure everything was placed in the correct spots before leaving. We would recommend Delaware Moving and Storage in a heartbeat.

My wife and I recently had to move a variety of furniture and household goods from Delaware to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Many of the items being moved were fragile and difficult to easily replace. This was a complicated move which involved packing the items at our home in Delaware, loading everything into lift vans at their warehouse, shipping the lift vans by truck to Florida, loading everything onto a container ship in Miami, unloading/clearing customs in St Thomas USVI, shipping the goods by ferry to ST John USVI and delivering to our house. The whole process took about a month, and we were very pleased that everything arrived in St John with no damage. Thanks to Drew Hopkins, his DE crew and Budd Cardone the freight forwarder for a job well done!
