I had a great experience using Doyle Moving Services for a local move from an apartment to a townhouse. They might not be the cheapest company out there (About $1500 for the 4 hour move), but the quality of their service is worth it. It was very easy to get a quote and get my move scheduled, and they made sure to confirm everything with me the day before. Roland, Isaiah, Nat, and Kenny were great movers. They were friendly, easy to work with, and very efficient. They wrapped every piece of furniture and treated my belongings and space with great care.

Overall great experience with Doyle Movers. Prior to the move date, Roy was extremely responsive, answered all of my questions, was patient, and very thorough. This was our first time using a moving company and he walked us through the whole process and expectations. On moving day, our movers (Alex, Robert, and Chris) were very professional, friendly, and efficient. The move was seamless thanks to their work. We couldn’t be happier with the services we received from Doyle for our office move. Setting up the move was effortless and they listened to our concerns as well as worked with us when we needed to make adjustments with zero issues. I had an unexpected move and called Doyle moving services in hopes that they could accommodate the last minute service. Not only were they able to move my items out of two storage units, but they were extremely timely and responsive with their communication. Also, they were knowledgeable—got me exactly what was needed for the job, transparent with costs/breakdown, and very friendly and professional. The movers were equally communicative, efficient, and friendly. Before they left, I thanked them and told them I would be using their services again when I moved from the house. We used Doyle Moving Services for a move from a townhome to a single-family home. Roy was always responsive and called to confirm all appointments we had. His estimate was a bit higher than the other we got, but he was willing to price match. On the day of the move, Roland, Isaiah, Ryan, and Robert showed up on time, ready to work. They wrapped all the furniture and moved quickly. They even helped pack some loose items we had around the house. All four men were kind and respectful. Highly recommend Doyle Moving Services! They even have recycled boxes available to use during your move!

Doyle Moving Services is the best moving company I have ever used. I will NOT use any other moving company! It was such a great experience from beginning to end. From talking to Roy in the office to the 3 movers he sent me. The guys were on time (they actually showed up before time 😁) and got right to work and handled everything with care. Doyle Moving Services is the best! I received estimates from 3 highly recommended moving companies in the DMV area. One was way above my budget and 2 were right in line, I choose Doyle because not only was it the best quote, but they promised that if they finished sooner I would only be charged for the actual time used over the minimum guarantee. The movers were very professional and organized and worked efficiently and carefully. They actually finished before the quoted time and I came in a couple of hundred $ less than the quoted price. I would definitely use them again and I will recommend them to anyone that needs professional trustworthy movers.

The crew that moved us worked hard and did a great job protecting our furniture and belongings. They were highly professional and helpful. Once in our new home, they helped us place everything. The cost of the move was lower than 2 other estimates we obtained. Would definitely recommend them and use them again. Although I hope we do not move again for awhile!

I am the owner of Shared Stories Home and Remodeling. Doyle reached out to us in need of some repairs to there warehouse before moving to a new location. I have a lot to say about the company. When they reached out to us they were in the know big time of what they needed and understood the process. That is important to us for the client to know what they need and understand what is needed to get it done. The first day we showed up to start work I noticed a lot going on in the warehouse. People everywhere, trucks being started and checked before heading out for the day. The employees knew what they were doing with no one needing to be behind them telling them what to do. The ware house was VERY, VERY well organized and all of there clients personal items were thoroughly wrapped and protected. It was a site to see, but also a high standard that not many companies hold themselves to. Basically, what I am trying to get at is that the company has one owner with lots of employees and so many moving parts and to see it being ran by its self was amazing to see. I've never thought about calling movers when I've moved, but I will be for sure contacting Doyle in the future as I know they will do a better job of moving my stuff then I would. I promise if you need a company to move you from home to home PLEASE contact Doyle Moving Services. I vouch for them in the fact that I know your items will be safe and protected from all things until you are ready to have it put back into your new home. Trust me on this!

I cannot recommend Doyle Moving enough! They came highly recommended in our local community page and were early to our house the day of the move and I have never seen movers complete a job so quickly (and this says a lot as I’ve moved probably 15-20 times). I will be using them again any time I move in the future and have shared their name with friends and family. Book Doyle and you won’t be disappointed!

From my first conversation with Mr. Doyle to the time my move was complete, I was very impressed with their promptness, their willingness to be flexible with my family's schedule, and how quickly and efficiently they were able to move us. We had a 4 man team (Matt, Jon, Thomas and Vince) who was amazing! They were personable and professional and helped make this stressful time a little easier.

Our move went flawlessly. The movers arrived exactly on time, with six guys. They first put down flooring protection and got to work. What they thought would be a full day of moving out was just a few hours and they were able to move us into the new house in the same day when we had scheduled it as a two day move. The guys took great care to pack our things and were so gentle with everything. When moving things in, they asked after everything was off the truck if we wanted any furniture moved. Everyone was so friendly and seemed to care about our things.I can't recommend Doyle enough.

Local move (30 miles) of a two bedroom condo to a townhouse. I only needed furniture moved and the team was professional, efficient and spot on. Disassembled and reassembled furniture ensuring it was placed where I wanted it. Very careful covering floors and carpets, padding doorways and key areas of potential bumps. Because it was a local move they used cloth pads and protected everything very well. Estimate was on point with no surprises at the end. Highly recommend.

I chose Doyle Moving because the price was reasonable, and I received friendly customer service. They were very accommodating and flexible with the timing of things and worked with me until I had a confirmed date. For the move, I had Roland, Isaiah and Ivan. They are very hard workers, patient and friendly. Unfortunately my move did not go as I would have hoped. Upon arriving at my new house and unloading the truck, they discovered that my box spring and couches would not fit through the tight staircases. They did their best to problem-solve and get creative and try to get the stuff where it needed to go. In the end, I had to change where the living room and family room furniture went, which meant that they essentially moved all of that furniture twice. And my new house has LOTS of steps (5 sets). While not all of the labeled boxes got to the correct rooms, they did a great job with the challenges they faced, so I am very happy with and thankful for their service. I'm sure I am not their favorite moving-job, but they I appreciate their hard work and positive attitudes despite the problems!

From now on, any time I have to move, I will be using Doyle Moving Services, no questions asked. Roy and Ryan were easy to work with whether it was scheduling a walk through the apartment, to getting free boxes to pack my belongings with. On the day of the move, Coe, Ryan, Evan were very respectful of my things when packing up everything. It was shocking to me just how fast they moved throughout the apartment. I was thinking that I would be able to help them load things on the truck, but really I had to stay out of their way as I would have slowed them down. After my move, Ryan reached out to me to let me know that I was accidentally over-charged, and refunded me the difference immediately! I never would have known that I was overcharged if it wasn't for their honesty. I wholeheartedly recommend Doyle Moving Services to anyone who is in the area.

We contracted with Doyle to move 5 large bookshelves and 3 large china cabinets from Baltimore to Cape May, New Jersey. There was no problem obtaining the contract or arranging a moving date. The day before moving was to occur, the owner of the company personally called us to let us know that everything was in order and what time the movers would appear. On the day of the move, we were contacted by the movers to say that they were on their way; they arrived exactly at the time that was aranged. The move itself was flawless. The movers were courteous, professional, and careful but efficient. When they arrived in Cape May, they again were incredibly careful moving the bookshelves and cabinets in, helped to stabilize everything, and, again were courteous and professional. We will have other things to move in the future and will definitely use this company again. Absolutely wonderful experience!!!!

We hired Doyle Moving Services for our recent move from Maryland to Pennsylvania. They were easy to reach, we got clear information from them, they gave us an accurate quote that never changed and was easy to understand. Day of move-out, they arrived on time and the team was nice, respectful and did the job well. We had them pack a handful of things and we had some tricky pieces and they did great. One thing was slightly damaged on move out and they contacted the manufacturer to sort out how to repair it for us. On move in, the team did a great job as well. So far, no problems with anything. I hope we never have to use them again, but I would if we needed to!

This was our first time hiring movers and would highly recommend Doyle Moving Services. Roy, our moving consultant, was quick to respond to our inquiry, and then listened carefully to help provide an accurate quote. The day before the move, we received a follow-up call to confirm logistics, and last-minute we added a stop to our route. On the day of the move, the crew was fantastic - showed up on time and after we showed them all the things that needed moving, they cleared out our townhouse within an hour. They carefully navigated down the steps of our little townhome with big pieces of furniture to avoid damaging walls. Neoprene floor runners were laid down to protect the hardwood floors. Padded the door jambs to prevent damage. Big loads were set down carefully, never dropped. Their attention to detail and constant hustle impressed this very nitpicky mama. They even finished a half hour early. Thank you Roland, Isaiah, and Ryan! I cannot recommend you highly enough!

The Doyle moving two man crew were very knowledgeable and understood the job requested. They very careful with all items properly wrapping and securing all furniture and fragile items. Hands down this has been one of the better moves I have experienced with a professional company. The guys came in, I explained what I wanted done, and they went straight to work. I had furniture that needed to be broken down and rebuilt in the new home and these guys did it quickly! The movers then and the 2nd time were a different set, but everyone were very professional and respectful not only to us but amongst themselves. They look out for each other. They work as a team especially with our very, very, very heavy marble tables that had to be moved uphill/up-ramp. They did their best in handling our things as if they were their own. Then they call when they are on their way with an estimated time of arrival (within the window promised). They pad everything, including the doors and floors before they enter your new home, take particular care in not damaging your precious items, move HEAVY-HEAVY stuff without complaint, and they don't stop until the job is done. I needed help loading furniture into two storages containers. I was referred to Doyle’s by a friend. I worked with Ray their Salesperson. He asked for some detail on what I needed done and said he would send an estimate. Once the estimate arrived I found it to be fair and approved it. The date and time were reserved. The four person crew arrived on time. They worked well as a team and were very careful moving all items. They finished just under the estimate of 4.5 hours. The Doyle’s team exceeded my expectations. They did fix all the issues and they even went further and fix the problem with the bed that was not caused by the move. The second crew did an excellent job of addressing my concerns and then some. I contracted this company to move part of my households out of state. They sold me their full warranty meaning they repair or replace the damaged items. During the move they lost, so they said, the hardware belonging to the master bedroom dresser and mirror. So, they did not install the mirror on the dresser as it was when they took it apart during the move. There mirror was not installed on the dresser. I brought to their attention that I had the full warranty and suggested that they go to the near hardware store and buy the hardware and installed the mirror. They called their boss and their boss told them do not do it and drive back. I called the moving company’s Rep. He said buy the hardware and we pay you for the hardware. Of course, they did not respect the full warranty. The problem was not the hardware, the problem was difficulty of installing the mirror on the dresser. They want me to install the mirror that they took apart. One final note, beware, they want you give them cashier check. Do not do it.

We used Doyle Moving Services on October 2, 2020. We booked 3 movers and a truck for four hours. They helped us to move our 2 bedroom apartment. I can honestly say I don't think we could've asked for a better experience than the one that Casey, Ryan, and Isaiah provided. These three worked seamlessly in quickly, and efficiently moving all of our items with care and expertise. They exhibited amazing communication and flowed as a team. In an hour and a half they had our entire apartment (couches, TV's, dressers, shoes, clothing, etc.) packed and loaded onto the truck. They were just as effective and efficient with unloading the truck and getting us set up in our new home. By the end of the four hours we actually had our entire place set up and livable. They even had time left over to put together a table my wife ordered off of Amazon. I highly recommend this group for any and all of your moving needs and will definitely be using their services for all future moves.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a moving company show up on time. They emailed the day before to assure me of the confirmation, and called 15 minutes prior to their arrival just to give me an update on their eta. The appointment window was between 0800 and 0900, the showed up at 0815. Went over the packing manifest, we’re up front about all of the goods they were obligated to move and extras if fees were incurred, and showed me the pricing sheet. They were prompt and communicative throughout the whole process and made moving hassle free and smooth. The team we had ( Nat, AJ, and Damein) were very coordinated and none of our furniture was damaged. They were able to pack up and move us on to base within their 3 hour time frame. This was truly an invaluable service during this pandemic, they took safety precautions (masks, hand sanitizer) to minimize contact contamination. Being in the military and going through numerous moves, this was by far the best company we’ve had the pleasure of working with :D

Doyle Moving Services called the day before the move to go over everything and finalize their quote with a max price...how convenient. Day of the move three people showed up, took a walk through and immediately set to task in a professional and courteous manner. Wasting no time they packed everything up and moved it to my house. Ryan Doyle's workers were hard-working, careful and, most importantly, experienced. They did a professional job packing our home and securing it in a storage unit. We were astonished at the "tetris-style" packing job they were able to accomplish. We had a large expensive leather couch set which they specially wrapped in blankets and plastic and stored carefully. Ryan came out for the estimate and answered all my questions in detail. The estimate was correct on the amount of time the move took. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Transparency from first phone call to final delivery. Everyone was personable from start to finish. I haven't moved in over 30 years so I had questions. The gentleman (Rob, I think. I'm sorry. I'm terrible with names.) was very patient with me and thoroughly explained the options available and gave me an estimate on what I was able to tell him. They kept in touch with me prior to the move. They even accommodated a special timing request. The young men (Travis, Dennis & I'm so sorry I didn't get the 3rd young man's name) who did the move were delightful. I have several antique & heirloom items that they were VERY careful with. - Thank you. They went thru the house prior to moving in order to identify all items to be moved. Then went thru 1-2 more times just to make sure as things were being emptied. And a final walk thru before leaving. Delivery was a breeze. NO wasted time. They arrived about 5 minutes after me at my new home. They unloaded & put everything where I asked. I highly recommend Doyle Moving. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do I will call Doyle.

I called Doyle Moving Services (DMS, hereafter) to move our heavy furniture from our small apartment into our new house. The move was scheduled for 9AM today. The guys showed up on time, I gave them the rundown on what was moving and what wasn’t and they went to work. These guys were quick and efficient and had our furniture swaddled, taped and on the move in about 1.5 hours. An hour later they had moved everything into our house, reassembled the relevant furniture and taken away the leftovers that we wanted to be rid of. The price was as quoted and very reasonable, I think. Here are some specific pros: - Fast and efficient. The guys clearly worked well together and were very professional. There were no awkward holdups or drops. - They ask if they’re not sure. This indicated to me that these guys were actively thinking about what they were doing instead of working on autopilot. Asking is always better than assuming, in my book. All of this contributed to a quick and easy operation which, importantly, went exactly right the first time through. DMS did an excellent job and I have already recommended them to a friend of mine who is considering a move, soon.

5 stars with a small deduction, which I'll get into momentarily. The team was outstanding at EVERY touchpoint. Ryan, Michael and the other guys that assisted were polite, professional and VERY hard working. Our move wasn't easy as it was over some of the hottest days of the summer and our air conditioning went out on us as we left our old house. They didn't complain and, in fact, had a better attitude that we did sometimes. The place we were moving to was a 3 story beach house and they moved everything in as requested without damage to the house or the goods. Minor strengthening point, we had to wait for them to show up, sometimes for a few hours (traffic issues on the drop off end). It would be nice to have the drivers keep the homeowner apprised on any arrival time changes as there is always plenty to do on the homeowner side and that time can be spent more efficiently, with notice of a lateness. That said, a SMALL constructive criticism for an overall outstanding customer service experience. Highly recommend.
