The office staff (Rachael) was friendly, professional, efficient, and responsive. She clearly walked me through the costs and estimate. The movers came on time, followed instructions, and worked quickly and carefully. While there were a few small hiccups with the actual move, the office staff quickly responded and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. Moving is inherently stressful, but I thought this company made the physical move nearly stress-free.

I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. The team was very professional and helpful. Kim was very understanding when I informed her my apartment's elevator had been broken for over a month, and supplied me with an additional mover to decrease the amount of time moving. The team of movers were so kind and professional! I have to admit that we weren't very well prepared for our move but the young men were super patient and had such great attitudes. They moved two office buildings to 1 storage facility and two different office buildings. Everything got to the right spot and in great condition. The front office was very professional and responsive. Moving crew worked very hard and handled all my stuff with care. I worked with the VA Beach office since they had storage units available. Kim in the front office was great. Their estimate of what it would take to move me was pretty spot on. Their moving crew asked questions and kept me informed of their progress.

Mike the Manager even had to pitch in with an issue we had. In life there will always be things that do not go exactly as planned or exactly as we hope but this company solved the issue in the best manner possible. It took longer than it "should" have thanks to our workforce not wanting to return to work post covid when free money is coming from the government. I applaud all of the employees at 2 Men and a Truck as I know they are all working very hard and they were excellent in communicating with me and in solving my issue. The team was very accommodating. We had a small hiccup with getting the truck in spot in a small storage facility but in the end it all worked out. They guys were not afraid to ask for help when they needed it so a second crew came on site to assist. Work never stopped and in the end both teams worked to load the truck to make up for lost time. Definitely made the job faster and since they are paid by the hour it goes to show this company isn't in it for the money. I am one satisfied customer. I did not get all the names to the crewmen but the original 3 Malik, Daeshon, and Drew did a good job onload and offloading.

I have always heard great things about Two Men and A Truck but after my current move, I will never use nor recommend this moving company to any family or friends. When I initially made the appointment for the move with Two Men and A Truck, I spoke to Kim and she recommended to put as much as possible on the estimate but that I could remove any items and the actual time would go down. The estimate she gave me was 4.75 hours with a minimum time of 3 hours. I agreed with the 3 hours and on moving day, I did take a couple items off my list. When the movers showed up, the first statement they told me was that, policy changed this morning and that it was a minimum of 4 hours. I told them that is not what I agreed to and called Kim to verify. Kim agreed that it would be 3 hours and told the movers that the next appointment was cancelled. Although, all of my items did arrive safely, I feel like the movers moved very slowly and even took apart items that did not need to be taken apart (Metal Part on the King size bed frame) to make sure that they would indeed make the 4 hour time frame. My bill at the end was for 4 hours. Morning of move policy changes don’t seem very professional to me and seem a bit shady.

We were so happy with our moving crew from Two Men and a Truck. Monroe and Arkeem were very professional and nice. It was calming watching them work because I could see the care they took with each item being moved. They were positive and happy and you could see it in their attitude and smiles which made it pleasant for us! They were by far the best moving crew I have ever had! I would most definitely ask for these two gentlemen again if moving in the future, they were AWESOM and most of all I appreciated their professionalism and kindness!! This was an in-state move but fairly long distance. The moving team was great, handling all the furniture and boxes, which included a number of antiques, with great care. Nothing was damaged, and despite the heat on both ends of the trip the team maintained good humor and thoughtfulness. On the administrative end, they were easy to work with, providing a detailed and reasonable estimate. When all was said and done we came in under budget! We’d certainly use them again.

We chose to pack our own boxes, they took care of moving the boxes, disassembly and reassembly of furniture. It was a long day, but everything arrived in great shape. They stared off by calling when in route to my house. They show up at the start time. They both were very professional looking, speaking, and working. They guys know what needs to be done and how to do it. Not to mention the right tools for the job. Everything they moved was wrap and protected so no damage would occur. When they arrived to the new house they let my wife take her time and select when she wanted everything put. This was great! We did not have to touch a single thing. So if your in need of movers or just want them to come to your house to help rearrange furniture. You can not go wrong with Two Men and a Truck. What I experienced was not just professionalism in my first call to their office, buy also unusual courtesy in answering my questions, with great respect for my concerns. The movers arrived on time, calling ahead to let me know they they were on the way. Upon arriving, they were noticeably very well-mannered, and professional, pleasant and diligent in their workmanship, always making my priorities in all my requests concerning everything being moved, their priority. The cost was very reasonable, not just because of the quality of the workmanship, but also because of their efforts to make sure I was pleased with the results. I was impressed with the integrity of this company in all aspects of doing business with them.

After being left high and dry by the Chesapeake location, I frantically called this VB branch. Jackie was so helpful in squeezing me into the schedule on the same day I called. She immediately sent over the moving docs that I needed to sign and had me all good to go. She estimated my time slot to be between 3 and 5 pm, depending on when the movers were finished with the move ahead of me. To my surprise, the driver called me at 2:30 and said they were en route, and showed up within about 15 minutes. The driver said his name was Mr. Logan and his partner was Reshawn. They were very efficient at wrapping and moving my furniture, even with the strange layout of the doors in my new house. It even took them about an hour and a half less than I was quoted by the Chesapeake office. Super stoked that Jackie was able to make this happen for me, and the two men and their truck saved me money!

My experience with the movers was fantastic. Each of them were professional, kind, and courteous. They handled my furniture delicately with care. My home is a new construction; hence, attention to detail was taken to ensure the newly painted walls and hardwood floors, along with the furniture, was protected. What a GREAT experience with a full service pack and move. Started out by giving Christopher Grossi a video tour of the apartment for an estimate, and let me say, he REALLY knows his stuff. The amount of materials, helpers, and time he said would be needed were SPOT ON. I’m so glad I had two men and a truck handle the packing and moving- it was so efficient and they did a much better job than I could’ve. For example, they got a 52” TV, bunch of wall art, fragile kitchen wares, etc to the new place all 100% intact. My packing skills would have never accomplished that with weeks to prepare that but they did in a matter of hours!! At arrival to the new place, they not only put all the furniture in the right rooms, but also sat it up - including a 176 lb king sized Purple mattress on the bed frame where we wanted it. I will be using them again for my next move for sure!

Arrived at destination in perfect condition where the men brought the furniture into their new home, unwrapped and placed the pieces where they were asked. Couldn’t have gone better! Highly recommend using this company when you need to move something. They really are first class!

Moved quickly and efficient. Were able to load all furniture and boxes for a 4 bedroom house, move across town and unload all in under 7 hours. That included dismantling and reassembly of beds. Estimate provided gave us a realistic case for pricing and the team leader strived to beat that price with speed without any damaged items. Would use them again and highly recommend to others.

Anthony, Ryan, and Randall did an amazing job today. I've never had movers that cared so much about making sure my furniture was wrapped so well as to prevent damage. They even wrapped up all of my furniture hardware separately! All my furniture arrived unscathed and this crew had a great work ethic. The movers Joshua & Deveon were very professional & careful with my furniture / boxed items during the move. They communicated & worked great taking into account my requests and concerns. Kimberly thoroughly set up the move and went over the details with me. She did a special job of arranging to have a marble table top moved on short notice. I have high-end modern furniture that had to be carefully handled & packed. All pieces arrived in perfect condition. I’ll note that it was worth getting the PACK SERVICE. I had more stuff that had to be packed, though I did much of it myself. They were fast at it and it was worth the extra cost. My only complaint was the cost factor. I think my move could have been 1.5K to 2K less than the total. The distance multiplier is high. Move from VA to FL. Overall..great!!

The crew arrived on time. They were professional, courteous, and ever so hard working. The move could not have gone any better. Jay, Trey and Dominique really went the extra mile for me. My move was third floor to second floor - not an easy move. No grumbling, they just got it done. There was no damage to either house, and no damage to my goods.

We've used Two Men and a Truck for 2 moves now, and both experiences were fantastic. I wish I'd known about them sooner because other moving companies have broken things, been late, etc. Two Men and a Truck is always on time and has never broken anything. They are careful and they listen to your concerns. If you're doing an out of state move but have your own moving truck, you can also hire Two Men and a Truck to help you carry things onto your moving truck (wish I had known that before my friends broke my expensive furniture!) and to unpack your moving truck at your destination too - even if they aren't driving for you. This company is all about quality and leaving the customer happy, so they take time to do things right. They also have lower cost for added insurance to make it affordable for their customers, while other companies charge a lot for insurance. This is helpful when moving delicate or expensive items, like the piano they just moved for me. Seriously, I have nothing bad to say about this company and have always been pleased with their services.

Jason Mike and Alphonse did a wonderful job moving my things from my storage unit to my condo! They even picked up an entertainment center from Ashley for me on the way to my house and assembled it because they knew I couldn't do it myself. They were careful, professional, & overall cool people. They moved a 500lb dresser, a 300lb chest, & a 117lb nightstand to my two upstairs bedrooms effortlessly and without a scratch! I'm a traveling nurse so I do this a lot and these guys are by far the best! The free estimated quotes are very reasonable and affordable, compared to other moving companies I've considered. Other companies were going to charge me over $1000 for number of movers, labor and travel time. Booking with Two Men & A Truck was simple and they are very responsive. 2 men and a truck are awesome. We moved out of a 3000 sq ft house and these guys where beasts!! They sent me 3 trucks and 7 guys. It took about 8-9 hours to move everything and let’s just say these guys did it all happy, friendly, joking and playing. Not once did I hear anyone unhappy or complaining. But these guys picked up heavy furniture like it was nothing. Took out boxes in a chain formation all the way to the truck. It was honestly crazy watching them. Not once did they slow down. They busted their a$$ the whole time. Friendly, polite and would ask questions if they didn’t know. Everyone of them used their manners when talking to you. By the end of it you wanted to adopt all these guys. Not a single thing was hurt or damaged. Nor did they complain if you asked to move something somewhere else. I can’t give a higher recommendation for this company. If it wouldn’t have been for this virus I would have hugged everyone of them because they made this so easy and smooth. Well done guys!! We had a very difficult moving problem...one involving two attorneys and a lot of furniture left to my sister-in-law by her father in a will. Unfortunately, the timing for pickup wasn't clearly stated to the two movers and the furniture and belongings were picked up before the attorneys had scheduled the pickup time. Needless to say, this posed a problem in making sure all items on the Personal Property list were all accounted for. At the delivery point I explained the situation to the movers and they were wonderful!! The items were packed on the truck well, very well, and both Jason and Michael were courteous and polite and helped me make sure all of the items were accounted for. Without their help I would never have been able to account for all of the items on the list much less fit them into a 10 x 10 storage unit. They both turned a situation around that could have been a very bad one. Everyone is happy.
