It would be five stars except we had two broken lamps (which they have agreed to reimburse). They also misplaced the hardware to re-assemble my master bedroom furniture. I had to physically modify the bed frame to allow for non-matched fasteners to assemble the bed. However, the loading and unloading crews did a timely and professional job. They were on time and very polite. No wasted time. I would recommend The Movers for your local move. I would use them again.

The move went very smoothly. One of the best I've ever had. The movers were on time, they were very courteous they were very capable and they were very fast. They got the truck loaded much more quickly than I expected. I had to hurry to catch up with them. There were only two small things that caused the move from being perfect. First they moved an electric fireplace that was not supposed to be moved. I will have to find a way to get that back to my buyers. Secondly, they left in the afternoon without attaching one of the mirrors to a dresser. It's not a big thing I can take care of it. Other than that they were professional they were helpful they were courteous and they got the job done in record time. I will be moving again in about 6 months. And I will definitely use the movers!

After selling our home more quickly than we anticipated and our new home still under construction, we were in need of reliable, secure and climate controlled storage. The Movers Moving & Storage provided that at a great cost with a fantastic moving crew! The crew that moved our items out of our old home and into storage did a fantastic job and took great care to ensure everything was wrapped well and totally protected. We just finally moved into our new home and had another fantastic crew to move our items in! Not a single item was broken or damaged, and everything looked just as it did when it was packed. We couldn't have picked a more hot and humid day to move, but our crew powered through and did a great job. I highly recommend them!

When I contracted with The Movers the estimate was 10 hours to move my household to my new address and to a storage unit. Four young men showed up at my door on time, they were polite, kind, and understanding that this was hard for us as we had lived there 26 years. Coby was very organized, listened to what I wanted, and directed his guys in a professional manner. They wrapped our furniture either in blankets or plastic so things would not get damaged. They were fast, efficient, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They completed our move in 6 hours instead of 10 because they never stopped working. They also were upbeat, funny, and seemed to like one another, which kept the whole mood lighter. They made a very difficult move much easier for us and we are deeply appreciative.

We were absolutely impressed by the way the gentlemen took great care in the handling of our items. Ours was a short distance move but I would not hesitate to recommend for any type or distance move. The professionalism from booking the move, to the move and closing out the account was done to the best by everyone in the company.

I researched and read many reviews before contacting the Movers. From the first call i made it was positive experience. The office manager had a great personality and very thorough, moving is stressful but she put my mind at ease. The day of the move came and the mover were earlier than scheduled. The three guys did a great job taking the beds apart, wrapping the furniture, loading and unloading. 6 hours later I was moved into my new house. I would recommend this company.

I moved locally with the company holding my belongings overnight in one of their trucks. The crew that I had did a wonderful job. We had a few pieces from some furniture missing, but other than that everything went smoothly. This company is definitely on the more expensive size. I also don’t really understand why it was 300 dollars for it to sit in a truck for 2 nights because it’s not like it was unpacked and then packed again. I guess that could be standard. Either way I would probably use them again if I moved locally! Lastly, one of the owners did call after to make sure everything was up to standard, which I personally think is a great thing for customers to voice their opinions.

The guys that moved me were a good team. They were on time professional, and detailed oriented. The team lead Tony was a very nice guy. The only reason I did not give them five stars: toward the end of my move when they were setting up my furniture they mixed the screws of different furniture pieces therefore causing extra time on billing. If it were not for that, and having to pay for extra time due to an error on their part I would have given them 5 stars. Though, I do still recommend the company.

The 4 men who moved my items from one house to another home in state were very good. As in any move you get a few nicks or scratchers on some items but they did their best to wrap furniture and other items. Very convenient for me to have my belongings stored on their trucks until the closing on my new home. Very helpful too in placing of your furniture where you would like them in your new home. Good crew!

I am delighted to give an excellent review to Cal McDuffie and his team . In preparing for the move I contacted 5 or 6 moving firms and Cal was the only one that personally came to my home and then followed up time and again. His team, headed up by Eric, was excellent. They were polite and professional and worked "like dogs". My wife and I have used movers in S.C. and in Fl 5-7 times. The Movers were the best we've seen. We would definitely use them again.

The guys doing the move/storage did a fantastic job. I was a little displeased with the way they counted their hours of work. Our stuff was getting packed and put into storage as we were doing work on the house. I was given a partial number when I first called and I knew what to expect. It took them 3 hours to pack and 2 hours to load. I was told that I will be charged for 10 hours that day which did not make sense as I'm sure they will not unpack my stuff going into storage. It should have been closer to 7 hours (using 3 guys at 159 per hour). I was given a credit of one hour on the return trip (using 2 guys at 120 per hour). I was also not made aware of a Credit Card convenience fee of 69.19 when I was packed/taken to storage and another 19.64 for the return. Some things were not mentioned when I first chose them, however, things needed to get done to keep the project on schedule and the estimate was thrown out the window for what I had expected when I first made the moving company commitment. Great teams packing and all my stuff came back without incidents.

We had a great experience. Our move was a little different as we needed to store our furniture in PODs, so we really just needed some professional loaders to make everything fit in the Pods in the best possible way. Our guys worked from the time they arrived to protect our belongings and get us loaded. They were great guys and we are hoping we get them when we need them to unload the Pods and get us moved into our new place in a couple weeks.

Will absolutely use them again! I have had a poor experience with hiring a moving service in the past and was reluctant to schedule movers again. I am so glad I did. They are completely full service and professional. They arrived on time and I also received a courtesy phone call ahead of time that they were on their way. I sold my townhouse and had to move half my house to storage and half to an apartment. The Movers were fourth company I called, and I am so glad I did. Setting up the move was super simple and everything was setup for the move perfectly. The guys showed up on time and performed a walkthrough and immediately started to pack. They wrapped all the furniture in moving blankets and used every bit of common sense and cate I could expect. Loading in the storage was a breeze as well as getting everything into the apartment. This is the fourth time I've used these guys and again, they delivered. Arrived on time and got right to work. They moved my one bedroom apartment into a pod but it was A TON of stuff (I was moving into a 3 bedroom) it took about two & half hours and actually fun. Pros: Lady I booked with on the phone was very friendly and responsive. Pricing was decent. They arrived on time. Manager was quick to settle my reimbursement for damage. They provide free tv boxes and wardrobe boxes. Cons: One of the movers was helpful and careful but the other seemed to be wanting to do things too fast and we ended up having damage on several items and one of pieces he actually broke. Like I said above the manager Don was quick reimburse and even took care of disposing of my desk but I’d rather not have any damage in the first place. Also over the phone I was told they would bring 3 wardrobe boxes but only one was brought so we had to leave a lot of our clothes. Also wish they would have used a mattress liner as our sheet and box spring got very dirty.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! I used these guy on a move two days ago and I am very happy with the service. They showed up on time and the driver was friendly and easy to talk to. Hired these guys for a short move to a third floor. The movers definitely got the job done and lugged a lot of heavy stuff without a complaint. They moved it along pretty good. Other than cracking a corner in the front room that we had professionally done to be a perfect edge, the job went off without a hitch. Also, they showed up early then billed me for an extra 10 minutes which gets rounded up to 30 that appeared was just being over charged. +$80. That probably would have disappeared quick if it was caught in real time. Overall satisfied with the service.

Tony and Jovonia were awesome! While the person I booked the move with and was quite unprofessional the movers made up for everything that she did wrong. They were given the wrong time to arrive and the breakdown of the cost was completely different however Tony and Joann were great they were very professional they placed everything in the storage unit to where I could move around and get to things and they were very careful with each and everyone of my items I would definitely use them again

Tony and D moved me from north Tampa to Town N' Country. They were on time, polite, professional and moved fast. After moving my stuff for three hours, Tony put my bed together for me. February 25, 2018 move from Tampa to Fort Myers. Ann and James are very available by phone and easy to work with. James did an in-home-visit before the move, to discern if the truck would be large enough for furniture, boxes, etc. They have been in the business for 29 years if I remember correctly. The day of move, they showed up on time, were very efficient..did a great job!

I'm giving the mover guys who actually move my furniture six stars because they deserve way better than 6 if I could give him a 10 I'd give it to as far as the office is concerned as far as expediting or having the correct vehicle at my residence to move I would give them a to they didn't have enough room on the first truck so had to order a second truck and vice versa and the truck wasn't supposed to arrive at my new home until 12 on the 27th which they had the moving truck there at 8:30 in the morning I believe that they should look at themselves as far as scheduling and what type of equipment to be used on each move thank you very much mr.
