Very pleasant experience. Kathy & Ally were very helpful with setting up my appointment. My movers were excellent. I moved on the day St. Louis had the biggest rainfall which flooded the city yet this company accommodated me. The movers neatly stacked my items in my storage unit. I'm a very happy customer.10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Simple Moves was SO helpful! They completely gutted my grandpas house after moving and did it with such professionalism. They worked efficiently and were very reliable. Great crew came in on time, and carefully moved a 200+ lb treadmill upstairs in 6 minutes without a single ding, dent, scratch or drop. I appreciate the flat rate option that Kathy set us up with, and that we were able to schedule it the very next day. They came a little later than the initial 30min notification window text I got, but they did call shortly after that to say they had a delay of a few minutes. Much appreciated. I love that their scheduling, payment, and text notification system is well done and worked great - no paperwork to futz with, no delays, no back and forth phone calls, no upselling, no funny business like I get with other movers. It really was simple!

They did a really great job! First off, it's super easy to get in contact with someone at the main office. Someone answered every time I called. Also, I had to reschedule my move and they were so easy to deal with. Day of my move, movers came on time and were very pleasant. Got the job done quicker than expected. They did a great job of keeping my furniture safe. I would use them again.

I was moving out of the metro area and had some very heavy office & bedroom furniture that required 3 men and Simple Moves provided that at a very competitive rate. After completing the moving inventory online, I received an approximate bid via email that same day. I was able to compare bids with local companies and chose SM. The movers(Fred, Roy & Mike)were punctual and friendly and worked well as a team. Teamwork is a must coordinating the logistics of a move. They took fine care of the furniture with no damage to walls, floors or carpeting. Before I knew it, I was relocated in a matter of hours and they were on their way back to St. Louis. I was relieved that Simple Moves made my experience less stressful than I anticipated. Thank you.

Cory, Alex and Deondre were excellent. I’ve never had such ease in moving and the cost was more than reasonable considering all they did. They were careful and thorough, worked quickly yet paid attention to every detail. My furniture and belongings were treated with such care. Usually when I see the word Simple Associated with the word Move I think yeah right. When has a move ever been simple. Well Simple Moves is a dream come true. The movers were courteous and careful with my furniture. They were also very skilled at moving large, heavy pieces around tight corners. The woman who sets up the moves should get the Nobel Peace Prize. I had to cancel twice and dreaded calling but much to my relief. She was sympathetic and patience. I highly recommend Simple Moves.

I didn't have a lot to be moved, but the estimate had been for more than two hours. The largest item was a piano. Roy, Mike, and Yancy arrived ready to work. They finished in less than an hour--saving me money and time. The piano is no more out of tune now than it was before. They were extremely polite and checked to be sure at every step of the way that their work was satisfactory. They left no sign of being here except for the furniture moves I wanted. I'll hire them again when I want large or heavy items moved.

I had a great experience moving. It started off a little rocky because of some miscommunication about the time the movers would arrive but once they got to my apartment, they were amazing. We finally had a positive experience with a moving company. The dynamic trio of Tony, Eric and Corey to help us during stressful time was a big relief. They were careful with every item and even helped us setup our couch and bed frames upon delivery to new house. My wife even bought them lunch and of course i tipped them well. The price was within reason of every other moving company but no cost savings is worth it when another company damages your property. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and crew!

Quick to book. Good price. Not psyched they proactively mentioned they take tips. Showed up slightly outside the time window but not by much. Pain for me because I don't have a flexible job and was late to work. But it got done and nothing is broken. Would use again but maybe allow more time and be mindful of punctuality.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This company cares and it shows through their professional courtesy and responsiveness. I am disabled and needed a mover on short notice due to my condition. WOW!!! A retired mover recommended this company, as did a manager at Crate and Barrel, and everyone with whom I interacted was AWESOME: attentive to detail. warm & courteous, professional, patient with my many anxious questions, responsive, and clear in their communication. I hired this company for a trial run move of a sofa bed I was considering purchasing, as I have a small home with a tight staircase. Allie & Cathy in the office were SO helpful, precise in their communication, and understanding!!! I didn't think the sofa would fit up the stairwell, and although I turned out to be correct, the moving team of Roy, Johnny, & Jeremiah valiantly tried countless times to maneuver the sofa up the stairs. They did so ONLY after wrapping the sofa with protective blankets so that it wouldn't be damaged, or damage my recently-painted walls. When it didn't fit, I had the store pick up the undamaged sofa, received a full refund, and found a different one to purchase. I have lived in 6 states and moved many, many times, and I am VERY particular. I have worked mostly with movers who made me a nervous wreck and did not care for my belongings that way I wanted. SIMPLE MOVES was the opposite! I will undoubtedly be calling them when I need to finally move my things into my first home purchase this July. Their moving guys refused to move a few pieces of our furniture because they were too heavy and said they didn't know that they were going to have to move them up stairs. They left the items in our garage. I called the office on Monday and spoke to Anthony who listened to me when I explained what happened without interrupting me and apologized and scheduled guys to come move my things upstairs. I was very impressed and felt that he really listened to me. This moving company is very professional and has integrity. Everyone I have spoken to has been professional and nice. Everyone at Simple Moves was a lifesaver for our move this past week. We had issues with our closing date and re-scheduling with the main office was no problem (all 3 times that I had to re-schedule) - Kathy was so patient and super helpful. The two movers went above & beyond to take care of our things but didn't waste any time at all. This was the quickest move we've ever had and for the first time ever, nothing at all was broken or damaged when we moved! We moved our daughter into a new apartment near Washington University, where she will be attending graduate school. The two guys (they told me their names, but I have a terrible time remembering names) from Simple Moves called to say that they finished with their prior move early and asked if they could come early, which wasn't a problem. They were extremely efficient and courteous. They moved quickly without pause. Our daughter's new apartment is up on a hill, and there are many steps to get to her building. Several of the items we moved are quite heavy, including a large marble table top. The guys quickly moved the items into her apartment, and the ultimate cost was less than the estimate. This was the second time we used Simple Moves (the prior one was to move several heavy items within our own house to different floors) and we have been very pleased with both.

Richard, Roy, and Fred did a great job loading my POD. The POD was filled floor to ceiling, front to back, and was packed tight. They were all very careful in moving my stuff, wrapping for transport, and loading. Would use them again.

I used Simple Moves to take a curio from my main level to the basement and move my Refrigerator from the garage to the kitchen and the refrigerator in the kitchen to the garage. They had to remove the refrigerator handles to get it through the front door and reattach them in the kitchen. Because of the size of the refrigerator they had to take my front door off and then replace it when finished. The men that did the work were very courteous and went through all the paperwork beforehand so we were on the same page. Carlos and Arron were there names and both were very professional and I would have no problem using them again. Hats off to Simple Moves, I'm just sorry I didn't used them on the move to my new home three months ago. 5 stars.

Movers just did not show up, I waited throughout the three hour window and no one ever arrived. Calling the company after 5pm (even though my movers arrival window ended at 5pm) just gives an answering service leaving you in limbo on if they are running late or if you were forgotten. I understand it was most likely a mistake but it was a mistake that was not respectful of my time, especially considering figuring out how to move around work again now. These companies advise you to take everything you can apart and have it ready in order to save on their hourly charge, but consider what it means when they just do not show up, no bed, no desks, no anything as it is all packaged. Find somewhere that will respect your time. There are too many companies in the local area to gamble on if the movers will even show up or not. Edit: Once I was able to talk to the company the following work week they were great and apologetic. I was able to get my deposit back instantly. Sounds like this was an employee related issue. Hopefully this won't continue to happen in the future.

This company was great! Not only did they quote me a lower price than other companies, but they were professional and efficient. They didn't do any damage to any of my items and I had a few tight places and heavy items (think piano!) that items needed to pass areas and go up/down stairs. They were unable to put my sleeper sofa where I wanted it but that was because they thought that damage would occur to the wall if they did. (And trust me - they tried all types of moves to make it work before they told me this!) These guys were great! **I have edited this review (and increased the rating to three stars--average) to reflect the eventual refund of $8.55 incurred in the postage of lost parts to my baby grand piano. Two days after posting my original review I received notification that my account had been credited. I should not have had to waste so much time and aggravation to restore my piano to it's original state.** They should change the name of the company to Very Simple Moves. If you need a chair moved, Simple Moves has you covered. Unfortunately, our moved involved items that had electrical cords and sadly, a $30,000 piano. The crew managed to smash a cord on a display cabinet (it happens) and lose parts to the piano (not cool). Simple Moves was willing to send a guy out with a roll of tape to fix the electrical cord. They also asked me to send them the receipt the the missing piano parts. Still acceptable, but researching missing parts for a baby grand piano was no fun. Alas, despite having the serial number for the piano we needed to choose between a pair of 2" and 3" connecting bolts. Even with the expert advice of the piano dealer, we picked the wrong size. Fortunately, the dealer was willing to make it right and exchange the parts. Unfortunately, Simple Moves was not willing to make it right and pay the extra $8.55 shipping charge. $8.55!!! Simple Moves was willing to lose future business over $8.55. I can't imagine how they handle claims higher than the average birthday gift card to Starbucks. Again, if you need a chair moved and don't mind a a scratch or two Simple Moves is fine. However, if you need anything even remotely complicated moved...look elsewhere, (Very, Very) Simple Moves does not have you covered. **Simple Moves eventually credited my account with the (requested) low amount of $8.55. I have no idea if anyone from Simple Moves read this review, but in time, they made things right.**

The men who d elivered my chair were polite and efficient. explained the compamy insurance and were very careful not to damage anything while moving a large stuffed recliner. Carlos, and Curtis did the work it was very simple. They wore masks when I asked them to put tem on and were pleasant about it.. there was a third man who was along but did not come past the door. i give The two movers a very high rating as the home where they were to pick up the furniture did not answer her door so they called here and kept me informed. The two movers who assisted my move into the CWE on 7/8 were incredible. My sleeper sofa would not fit in the elevator of my new building, and they carried it up a flight of very narrow stairs into my new apartment! What's even more impressive, the stairwell had just been painted a half hour before they arrived, and not a single drop got on my sofa! I was AMAZED. My movers were also very efficient and safe with my property. The move occurred on a day of off and on rain, and my movers made quick work of a big job to avoid damage to my belongings. I got a handful of quotes before deciding on Simple Moves. Simple Moves was reasonably priced and straightforward.. Other companies I tried had strange additional fees (that they claimed they would waive if I agreed now) and/or quote a bigger truck or more guys than needed. I used them simply for moving furniture from my Downtown apartment to my new house. I was around for the entire move and the guys appeared to take good care of my furniture and were mindful of the hardwood floors, door frames, walls, etc. Overall, great experience.. glad I did it instead of lugging that stuff myself.

Getting my move scheduled with Kelley was simple and quick. She was flexible and happy to help make adjustments to my inventory list when I realized I'd missed a few things. She also called 2 days prior to the move to confirm, as promised. Nakia and Chris arrived on the early side of the estimated hour of arrival time and immediately got to work after I showed them what needed to be taken. They moved quickly, getting all of my furniture packed into the truck within 45 minutes. There was a slight delay (about 30 min) in arriving to my new place as they took a different route than me and ran into traffic, but were kind and accommodating and took that time off of the final cost. They moved everything in with the same efficiency as they'd moved it out (even though they had to do even more stairs and some tight turns at the new place), and did so with friendly and positive energy. I'm really pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

It may have been left on the truck as it wasn't very large or someone at the store who helped coordinate the loading overlooked it. I did order and pay for this item so it should have been included with the other items. Two movers came in, covered and secured the desk with a thick blanket, then smiled at one another and lifted the desk that took FOUR lesser men to move previously. EDIT: The issue below has been resolved. I appreciate Brian and the staff at Simple Moves taking care or everything. I’m changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. With my family having used Simple Moves several times over the years, I am disappointed in how a move went recently for my wife and I. The movers were moving a treadmill and in the course of moving it the treadmill was dropped. They told me they took it apart (which I wish they had asked me before doing) to make it lighter and part of it fell. This caused the upper part of the treadmill to crack pretty badly. Accidents happen so I was frustrated but not too upset after they assured me it would either be fixed completely or replaced. They took the treadmill with them to be accesssed. A few days later I received a call that they put it back together but could not fix the broken parts on it, but could give us $100. I explained I would like the treadmill to be fixed so it looks like it did before they dropped it. I was transferred to Brian and left him a voicemail. Since I was at work he spoke with my wife and told her he would look into what they could do and call us back in a few days. This was three weeks ago and we have not heard back. My wife left another voicemail this week and still we have not heard back. We simply want the issue resolved and would like some communication on the issue. In speaking with everyone they’ve been very professional but we feel forgotten after we thought this would be handled.

Can't remember their names, older Brotha and a younger brotha, both good dudes. At least from my interaction with them. I'd use them again. What a great experience in moving! My wife and I purchased a beautiful Harden high boy...a very tall and slender bedroom chest...on Facebook Marketplace. We couldn’t believe our good fortune in finding such an expensive piece of furniture so reasonably priced. Our dilemma was getting it moved to our apartment. Previously, we were unable to get our Ethan Allen armoire placed in the bedroom because of the narrow hall. So, as a result , the armoire had to be relocated to a different room. There were some very close quarters in which to move, but they persevered successfully. And, we very much enjoyed having their help and making their acquaintance.
