We couldn't have been happier with Puget Sound Moving! Great communication from Tami from our first reach out for an estimate, through every step of our crazy move. We had a short lead time and a move in the snow, and our team was outstanding. Professional, courteous, respectful of our furnishings. And they all seemed to be happy to be there. We were referred to PSM by friends who used them and were very happy with their move. We will highly recommend this company to friends and family, and absolutely use them for future moving needs.

Moved from Seattle to Spokane on short notice, Tami was great about answering questions right away and keeping me informed on the process. The quote provided was very accurate, and the crew was amazing. Poor guys had to move stuff in 90 degrees and up to the third floor, never complained and always asked questions to make sure everything was where we wanted it to go. They were super efficient as well, I can’t believe how quickly they loaded and unloaded everything. Hiring PS Moving is WELL worth it, can’t recommend them enough for making everything so much easier.

Tami was helpful all throughout the process, with a can-do attitude, even though we had to change move dates and plans a few times. The crew was efficient, kind, funny and professional. They worked well with us, even though we were furiously packing boxes of the kitchen at the end, they worked hard to fit everything in. The estimator did a great job figuring out how many trucks we would need - even though at first the crew thought they wouldn't fit everything in. Nothing was damaged. Highly recommend this service.

The movers came on time and worked hard throughout the entire move. They were very careful with not damaging the floors, carpet and walls. The movers had some hesitations with moving the piano to the sitting/study room which had four stair steps without damaging the carpet. Fortunately, they put another rolled carpet underneath the wood plank and managed to get the piano up the stairs without damaging anything. They were courteous and respectful movers.

I had a stressful experience moving to my new home due to a once a century ice storm that hit the day we were scheduled to move, but Puget Sound Moving worked diligently to get rescheduled and when we finally were able to go, the guys were super professional, incredibly nice and super fast! We had a move from a storage unit and condo to a house, we had two trucks with a crew of four guys. It was a lot of stuff to move but they seemed fast and professional, they wrapped everything well and unloaded into whatever room we requested. Not really sure how price compares, seemed expensive, but I doubt it would have been cheaper anywhere else. It was worth it!

Puget sound moving was great to work with! Probably the best company I’ve had to move our family. And, we’ve moved every year for the last five years! They are very organized, from initial walkthrough to last box being unloaded. The day-of crew was extremely efficient and very careful to lay down padding, and carpeting throughout the house to protect my floors. There was a scratch in floors no one told me about, but other than that, no complaints.

Puget Sound Moving was truly a blessing for our family during our out-of-state move. From the first conversation with Tami, to the in-home estimate with Dave, the initial process was simple, accurate, and reliable. We had peace of mind about the process because of those two! Tami stayed in contact and answered all questions prior to, during, and after the move, and she carried through on every commitment. Although we packed the majority of our items, Antonio and his crew did a great job wrapping furniture and protecting our furniture. As promised, and most importantly to us, many of the same team members drove our items out East and our items never left the truck they were originally packed on (which is why we opted for a local mover and not a van line). Our items arrived from Woodinville, WA to Knoxville, TN in a matter of days (and during some bad winter weather), and were unpacked and moved in within a matter of hours even with poor local weather conditions. In summary, for anyone looking for a reliable company to move you from the Puget Sound region to an out-of-state destination, Puget Sound Moving is for you. If you don’t like the idea of hiring a van line who will broker your mover to some other company and potentially lose your items (repack them on another truck or store them in a facility without your permission), Puget Sound Moving is for you. Don’t take a chance, hire the best and be confident in the services they will provide!

Incredible! We moved interstate and PSM was fantastic from the start. Very responsive, they came out twice before the move to take an inventory. Moving day couldn’t have gone better. The crew was so efficient and packed everything with care. On the other end they arrived early, put furniture back together where we asked and carefully stacked everything else. HIGHLY recommended!

Sergio, Josue, and Miguel moved us today and did a fantastic job. They were on time, professional, and very friendly! We enjoyed working them and would highly recommend them for anyone moving. We didn’t have very large furniture items or a ton of fragile items to move, but we had a lot of heavy boxes and a few pieces that were difficult to move. Nothing was broken or damaged and I felt confident how they packed everything. Plus- we have 2 flights of stairs...they worked so hard!! Thanks guys for your hard work and energy!!

Update: Changed to 4 stars because they took care of us and made it better after we got in touch with the owner. A couple hours after this original review was posted, I got a call from the GM that he had found a crew for us. The crew showed up on time, were very nice and helpful, and took great care of our stuff. They had no problem stopping at our storage unit or navigating the somewhat tricky driveway down to our old house. We were grateful to get our move completed and be able to start settling into our new house. If you’re considering working with them, just make sure you watch your phone for confirmation calls and return those calls and you should be good. Original review: We booked our move with them on June 18 for June 27. They called me the morning of June 26 to confirm our move, but I missed the call because I was busy packing. They didn't make any more attempts to call me. Not once did anyone mention that I would get a confirmation call, that they intentionally over-book their movers, or that they would cancel our move if I didn’t respond to the confirmation call. At 4:45pm they sent me a text message and an email announcing that my move was cancelled. When I called minutes later to ask what was going on, the general manager acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and said he didn’t have the man power available for our move. They have completely screwed us over. This was the only moving company we had booked with. We have all our stuff packed up and ready to go, we have a small child, and we desperately need moving help tomorrow. The amount that Puget Sound Moving has made our lives stressful and difficult today is beyond reproach.

We worked through a company called Moving Link. They had a gentleman come out and look at what you needed moving and sent the bid out to moving companies. Puget Sound Moving had the lowest bid by about 30% so we went with them. They did a great job of carefully packing, wrapping and moving our household goods. Not a thing got damaged and everything showed up intact. The three man team was courteous and professional. The only problem was with Moving Link who underestimated the bid by almost 30% so the cost at the end of the move was substantially higher than originally bid.

Puget Sound Moving recently moved all of my belongings from my home to a storage facility. The job was estimated to take eight hours but the crew arrived on time and completed the move in six hours. They were fast, efficient, polite, and fun to work with. At the storage facility the manager was not overly polite to the movers but they were very polite and took it all in stride. This was the second time I have used this company and have been very pleased both times. Great job Puget Sound Moving!

I moved from a 3,000 sq ft two story house to a similar house 30 miles away. PS Moving packed all my dishes, appliances, hanging clothes, and garage tools. They disassembled and reassembled any furniture that required it and put everything right where I wanted it. They worked very fast, but took great care in wrapping all the furniture. Both the packing and moving teams did a phenomenal job. The price matched the original estimate. They showed up when they said they would and did everything we agreed to. I would definitely recommend them for any move.

I dropped a star because my original move date was canceled two days before the day of the move (after numerous unanswered calls and emails asking about an update during the four days before). I decided to still give them a high rating based solely upon the three gentlemen who actually performed the move. They were quick, efficient, careful, respectful (my SO currently works from home and they kept noise to a minimum), asked where everything should go in my new home, and more than made up for the short-notice reschedule. As long as you are flexible (in case they overbook again) then I can definitely recommend this moving service.

What a great group of professionals. Arrived promptly, laid out floor coverings as to not dirty the carpet, wrapped necessary items in plastic film, and maneuvered the truck to get into our driveway, which is difficult for a sedan, much less a moving truck. I hired Puget Sound moving to pack and move into a new house in early August 2018. The scheduler was very professional and courteous as he talked with me about costs for my requested services. A couple days prior to the move, they called to validate and confirm the date/timing of the move - which gave me comfort as I had very tight timelines to do the move. The packers/movers arrived on schedule. They quickly started packing and moving boxes and items into the big truck. I couldn't believe how fast they worked - and with quality! I had an idea in my mind as to how long it would take to pack and move - and they beat those expectations! At the new house, they diligently took the items off the truck and would ask me where to put certain boxes or items (if I hadn't already marked them). They set up my bed and arranged heavier furniture items exactly where I requested. Due to their professionalism and expediency - I would highly recommend Puget Sound Moving company!

Puget Sound Moving was hands down the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. They were right on time, clear on everything that was going to happen, respectful and so personable. From speaking with Jamie, in the office, to Isaiah, the team leader the entire process was so simple. When my piano was moved in past years (by other movers), they brought an extra ramp (besides the one attached to the truck), which made it much easier for them to get my piano down the porch stairs. The guys from PS Moving struggled with my piano down these stairs because the only ramp they had was attached to the truck, and there wasn't a good way to back the truck close to the porch. So my only complaint is lack of proper equipment for piano moving.

Second time was even better than the first. We've used Puget Sound Moving for both time-based and miles/weight moves. Our most recent experience went very well with no major issues. Some highlights: We have a large collection of heavy vintage furniture and dishes which were all treated with care like everything else. They went out of there way to setup things like beds, outdoor seating and office areas. The property we move into is very large and they didn't have any trouble shuttling items to the various out-buildings, garage and house. We were moving from California to Washington, and unexpectedly needed a Washington moving company at the last minute when we discovered that the national company that picked up our belongings in California would not deliver them to our new address in Washington. Instead our items were to be placed in a storage facility near Seattle, which was about 75 miles from our new home in a rural area. I called Puget Sound, described our problem, and their friendly representative immediately said that they could handle the move, even though it was less than a week from the time of my call. They then quickly and professionally moved our belongings into the house, placing them where we directed, and then re-assembling and setting up the furniture as needed. So if you're like me, you want the most trusted movers and you check reviews religiously moving companies near you. Limit to your top 3 and then decideafter calling to see an estimate of charges. I finally made my choice on Puget Sound Moving because of their stellar BBB reviews. It's the highest grade out of the movers I was interested in. Now to the good stuff. You call the number on their website, they collect your information, ask you about the size of dwelling and/or storage unit you are moving from. They give you a quote (don't forget to mention the coupon on their website). Once you have your moving date down, they tell you, you will receive a confirmation email a week before the move. And a phone call two days before the date. I get nervous when I don't receive a confirmation email, so I pestered and they sent me one a month before. = ) Alright, I get a call from Antonio and he's my moving team manager. I have a team of 3 movers and a large moving truck. I moved out of a single family home and storage unit to a new home within the same city/vicinity. Antonio and his team arrived at the time promised. Moved the things out of my storage unit with extreme care and plastic/pad wrapped everything that needed to be. We had most everything in boxes, so we were not charged any extra fees for equipment. Got to the single family home we were moving out of and again, handled everything professionally. Once we arrived to the new home, they took a much deserved break, then unloaded. Having the boxes already marked with the room i.e. Master bedroom, basement helped cut down the time. I only needed to show them which room was which and out they went. Any questions regarding placement, they would just ask. They even put our bedframe together for us! It took them 4 hours total for everything and we couldn't be happier with the level of service. And in case you're thinking about your new carpet and their shoes. They even placed their own red carpet from the door entrance to the upstairs! So any debris/dirt would get on the red carpet before entering any of rooms. I know this was a long drawn out review, but go with Puget Sound Moving. It was everything they promised, nothing broken and overall a professional quick process! We also provided them with snacks, water and a tip.

I hired PSM last minute, 3 days before an accelerated move to clear out my condo. I worked with Josh and was able to squeeze in a Saturday morning session for 3 workers and 1 truck. The estimate process online was easy to select what furniture I needed transported, and the follow-up phone call was responsive to my needs and short timeline. The day of, however, PSM movers missed the appointment window, causing me to call in and inquire status. Josh was able to identify a system glitch in the reservation software which caused my appointment to show as "canceled", and no other movers were available to help. Admittedly frustrated, I was concerned about meeting my timelines and being without furniture, but PSM acknowledged the system glitch and went above and beyond to make things right. Because my Saturday appointment was missed, they offered to give me a Sunday morning move at no charge. This promise was fulfilled, next day showing up with 4 movers and two trucks, more than needed, but allowed for very quick packing and unpacking to the new house! The movers were courteous and respectful, and took care to wrap up furniture to prevent damage. This level of service from all employees is commendable, and I will both be using PSM for all my future moves, and recommending this company to colleagues, friends, and family as well. A+

PS Moving had to go White Pass, which made the trip about 3 hours longer. Solid experience. Get your own no parking signs and save yourself hundreds of dollars, though. Also, the movers will use packing tape on anything that looks loose, including furniture pieces. The tape peels off finishes and paint, so protect any surfaces you care about. The movers work hard, are friendly, and show up on time.
