I had a couch I needed to have removed and the pricing looked good for College Hunks, so I scheduled a junk removal. There were some shipping issues with my new couch so I ended up needing to change my appointment date (a couple of times) and that process was very easy and efficient. I got a call after the first schedule to get an idea of what items I had, and the woman on the phone was kind and courteous. I got a call the morning of the pickup and the gentleman told me they would arrive in about 25 minutes. They were prompt with being here within that time and within the given arrival window. The two guys that arrived (Jonathan and Richard) were friendly, courteous, and efficient. We had some good conversation while they worked and they were quick and careful with getting the couch removed. I would highly recommend College Hunks if you have items you need removed, and honestly, I will likely call them if I need moving services in the future because of the service I got this time around. Thanks guys!

5 stars for this company! I’ve used them twice in the past few weeks and they were amazing! I had them move all furniture out of my house and back into my house so I could get my house painted and install new carpet. They arrived on time, they were extremely courteous, respectful, careful with the items they moved, very patient as I had to decide placement of every single piece of furniture and they were very efficient which saved me money as well! Juan and his son Juan Jr. are simply the best! They were running EARLY and called to see if that would work for me! YES! Instead of waiting for a two-hour window like a lot of places, they showed up almost an hour earlier than my slot. They were so friendly, efficient, and fast! They even offered to move some other stuff for me 😁. I highly recommend College Hunks in Seattle! For the best service, ask for Juan and his son Juan Jr.! I know I will be if I need to use this service again. Amazing customer service, so easy and quick, and affordable! I highly recommend!

This was my first time hiring movers. The process was very smooth. Quentin and Bryan did a phenomenal job on communication, friendliness, and professionalism. I received a call prior to their arrival and then did a thorough walk-through with them. After that, Quentin essentially took over and loaded the truck in what felt like record time. I checked on them a few times but stayed out of their hair most of the time. They then transferred everything to my new place and unloaded it in record time. They moved all the furniture and boxes into the correct rooms (I did have everything labeled) and verified if I was satisfied with where things were. Lastly, they asked me to check the truck and ensure it had none of my belongings left in it. I am extremely satisfied with the service and the two gentlemen that were my movers.

Highly recommend! Erik, Tadeu, and Fabiano were so great. Professional, incredibly nice, and kept a great attitude even though it was a very long day of work that included a ferry ride in between. We are no strangers when it comes to moving after many years in the military and I can say that College Hunks are the best by far! The entire process from quote, to meeting the moving team, to having them load up our belongings and move it to the new house was smooth and stress free from start to finish. Today I had the good fortune of being cared for by two exceptional moving professionals, Michael and Thomas. I can share a LOT of good things, so bear with me... For starters, intake and communication were stellar start to finish as well as quick availability. There was ample flexibility in meeting my schedule needs, and I SO appreciated them giving me a 2hr window (rather than 4 or 8 hours as seems to be the case with most businesses). I received a call from Michael before they came so it wasn't even a problem that I ran a quick errand within my pick-up window (THANKS for that!!). Michael and Thomas were such gentleman. Professionals to the highest degree - polite, respectful, supportive, kind, and relatable. They handled the job exceptionally well - an unpleasant task (in 90 degree heat!) moving a HEAVY cumbersome couch down from the second floor. Labor is so hard - no doubt these men deserve a raise in these challenging times. I am all around SO pleased with their work and grateful everything went smoothly. Keep up the great work!! If I'm ever in need of a hand moving in this region, this business will be the one I support!

These guys were fantastic! I booked them same day, and they actually called and asked if they could start a few hours earlier, which worked for me. It was a relatively steep charge to haul away only a sofa and a coffee table (they charge by volume + labor/15min) but the convenience was well worth it, and I was glad that they are able to donate my unwanted furniture instead of simply junking it. They also were able to take a large TV stand down the hall to my neighbor, which was simple enough for them to do but not included in the initial scope of work, so it was very much appreciated. Would recommend if budget allows, especially on short notice.

We had the best experience with College Hunks! My parents live in assisted living, and needed to move to a better facility. It was a complicated move - they live in separate apartments and were moving to separate apartments. Both of them have significant disability. College Hunks were amazing. Scheduling the move was easy, with a very kind person helping. Communication was great. And Juan, Juan, and Vincent (our incredible moving team) made everything as easy as possible. They were kind, fast, efficient, friendly, professional, and did a high quality job in complex circumstances. I really can’t recommend them highly enough and will do so every chance I get.

Talking initially to the representative was easy and efficient and she was very, very friendly and helpful. The actual move was easy and efficient and Captain Trinity and Jake were just amazingly friendly and careful, and really, really great to work with. In the end, I couldn’t have been happier with the moving of all of my living room furniture.

My only complaint is there are lots of charges that aren't mentioned initially. However, the two young men that I worked with, Jonathan & Richard were beyond my expectations. Personable, efficient and went beyond the expected level of the job to make sure I felt good about what was happening with my parent's belongings. They were so kind and made the expediency enjoyable. Our office needed to move out old items and bring in new medical chairs that weighed a lot. We had two movers, JR and Jamahri, who were not only helpful, but very courteous, respectful, and careful. The availability, service and pricing were great from CHHJ. My transport of items took place on 8/11/22. There were three gentlemen that were very professional, courteous and problem solving. They listened to me and answered all of my questions. They secured and protected pieces of furniture from damage. Jessica and her team (Pablo, Fabiano, Erik, and Tadeu) were excellent. As this was our first time hiring packers as well as movers, we didn’t really know what to expect, but they got the job done in one day. After seeing the job, she suggested another person and truck for day 2. That insight saved me a lot of time and money. The truck was packed and the second truck was more than half full. A second trip would have been much more expensive. After about a week, we’re still in the process of unpacking and getting settled, but the careful notes on the boxes (Fragile!, Don’t set anything on top, Contents of white drawers, etc) we’re further along than we expected to be by now. Stellar job, wholeheartedly recommend.

Felipe and his friend helped me move out of my 1 bed apartment last minute when the other moving company I originally booked with (hint: start with “C” and rhymes with “Utter”) canceled on my reservation without notice and totally screwed up my plan. I was super stressed out as I need to fly out to another country literally the next day and if this move fall through I will literally have to rebook my very expensive trip. Thank god the hunks showed up on time, took care of the move fast and professionally so I didn’t have to deal with any logistics night mare. Rate is reasonable these are some hard working folks. I had several bulky furniture items that were taking up too much space and couldn't find any friends with a truck to take these items to the dump or Goodwill. Update: Owner reached out to me after this review and helped to return some of my money back. He has been courteous and fair through the process. Happy to say that the response from the company has been much better after the move. Original Review: Horrible experience. Requested a quote through their website and immediately got a nice representative that went through a list of questions which I answered. Results was $175 an hour with approximately 3.5 hours worth of work. I accepted. Next day I get a call from someone else asking me the same questions claiming I spoke to another representative at their "central location", this time trying to charge me more money. Finally, they accepted their original quote (which I prepaid for mind you). Day of move (and day before our closing), movers show up and say "inventory is off" and that we have more boxes than what was on their list (they claimed we had no boxes while we specifically said we did, but not an exact count as we had still been packing). They said they need another person to help, but now would be charged $250/hr. After arguing with their manager on the phone about this - I had no choice as to accept since we would not be able to find any other movers day of. Result: I got quoted $920 for a 3-5 hour move and in the end got charged for 7 hours aka $1,750 to move our ***890 SQUARE FOOT*** condo to a STORAGE UNIT. On top of that, they took apart part of our bed, but couldn't finish then couldn't put it back together, so they left it flailing during the move and ruined it. They didn't wrap anything outside of the couch so lots of our furniture was scratched up. In the end, we feel absolutely scammed by this company that cornered us the day of the move and day before our closing date on our condo nearly charging us double than what they said and damaging our stuff. This was the most stressful move I have ever had. I will be reporting the entire experience to the Better Business Bureau. Find another moving company.

Every task starts with everything positive as Tre Anthony and Trinity move forward to execute their job with dexterity. A proof that their experience and knowledge well carried out are so outstanding in all aspects. There are some things that could have gone wrong like for example, having only one elevator in a senior housing that moves so slow, but it’s amazing how both men remain respectable and pleasant to the tenants. Trinity and Tre Anthony set a very example of teamwork, very flexible, responsible and respectful of each other. They really took good and special care of my stuffs, my bed, the mirror, lamp etc... I really appreciated that they called and offered to come even ahead of the scheduled window, and then again about 30 minutes before arrival. I paid about $320 to have the old couch hauled away, which is definitely pricier than I thought it would be, but considering the convenience and one hour time window provided, it was worth it to not have to wait around all day. I’m a professional move manager and organizer. I’ve used College HUNKS many times. Pros: They have always been easy to communicate with, crews are friendly and hard working, and nothing has ever been damaged. I will use them again. In particular, the crew of Brazilian HUNKS was stellar. Cons: I am on-site and hands-on which I think is necessary. I’ve have a few experiences where the crews were not very experienced and needed some guidance. I’ve also had a negative experience with the estimating process. The estimator was not clear about the fact they could not move a baby grand piano and did not notify me about that change. On that same job, the estimate was low by 30%. In the future I will expect estimates to be low on big jobs and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

This was the first time I've hired a junk removal service. JR and Charlie did a great job removing all my junk from the 3rd floor of my building - lots of walking up and down stairs carrying some pretty heavy things (mattress, shelves, etc). They were very friendly and professional. The process was easy - someone from College Hunks called ahead to get a preliminary list of things I needed to get rid of, the day of they called to let me know when they were one job away, and then called again to let me know they were coming. They also broke down the estimated charges after taking a look around and then started moving everything out and were done in about an hour. It was kind of pricey, but worth the money and I would definitely recommend them.

You’ll get a quick quote and everything will sound like it’s all set up, then day of the truck size is wrong and there’s an extra mover that wasn’t communicated. I heard from the logistics guy “you spoke to our national team to reserve but we don’t have what you reserved” so they sent the bigger truck I said wouldn’t fit but promised his guys would make it work (and they did). I think there is much room for improvement with reservation review at the local level prior to moving day. But like I said the guys actually moving my stuff - hands down awesome! I wish I could have tipped them more

Pros: JR & Tre'Anthony were great- on time & professional. They did an excellent job. They were able to take our trash items and our donations, and kept them separated. Cons: The price was much higher than expected. The quote had been around $760 for 3/4 of a truck, but it was not made clear until afterwards that this did not include the labor costs or other expensive fees (heavy load, etc). Our total, for using the same amount of truck space as expected, was about double our quote ($1500). If I had realized this beforehand, I would have shopped around for a better price. As it was, it cost more than a full service move would have.

JR was knowledgeable, friendly, and great at efficiently tasking duties to the crew. I could tell they had a lot of respect for him, and I saw him patiently explain correct procedures several times. They were just so friendly and kind that it felt like some of my friends or family was helping me move. They asked questions about my preferences when it came to special items and made sure I was satisfied throughout the day. Definitely extra-personable, helpful guys!! Our job was a large one and took the entire day. Every one of them was working very hard while still being very careful of all of my furniture and belongings. I saw them take extra time to wrap and blanket my breakables and I thought that was extremely thoughtful. I just had the best experience using College Hunks Hauling. I'd been trying to schedule someone to come pick up our junk for weeks-- missed calls, trying to send pictures for estimates and emails bouncing--it was so frustrating. College Hunks' website let me easily reserve a time online. They confirmed by text and...that was it--all done. On the day I set, Raffy and Sean called that morning to confirm and were there right on time. They reviewed all the different kinds of junk we had, which included mattresses, electronics, furniture, large plastic yard toys, decaying yard waste, styrofoam, boxes, and two large old appliances. They worked with us to figure out they way to take all our junk for the least cost and then they quickly loaded it all up. We had enough to fill up nearly a full truck and it was all gone in less than an hour. Amazing service. Raffy and Sean were professional and fun to work with. Used this team to help with unloading 2 x 16-ft containers into a 3rd floor apartment (no elevator). I didn't book them in advance, since I wasn't sure when the containers would be delivered. I had a video call with Jasen who assessed the size of the move and gave me good insight into the key factors that led to the pricing of the move. I called them on Saturday and they gave me availability for Monday afternoon. Because they were busy with another move that was going long, they were slightly delayed in getting to me. Zachary was proactive in keeping in touch with me and making sure to manage my expectations. When they got here, they got to work without any fuss and were soon marching up and down the stairs taking heavy boxes and furniture with nary a fuss. Zachary, Ian, Diandre, and Savion were exceptional in their work ethic and completed the whole unloading in the estimated 2 hours. Overall, very positive experience with College Hunks. I've had multiple moving experiences where I've ended up carrying more stuff than the movers or I've had to push them into action so this was as positive a moving experience as moving can be ;-)

College Hunks just helped move a 250 pound printer up 2 flights of steps to an office. They did a really great job. The crew consisted of Tyler, Tristan and Enrique. The were prompt, professional and efficient. The were very careful about protecting the item they were moving and the path they were taking through the house. I would recommend them highly. College Hunks was actually the highest of the three bids that I received (but still reasonable). I chose them because they actually sent someone out (Jasen Denton) to look at the job, take photos of the site, and make a thorough evaluation of what would be needed. Jasen was also very knowledgeable and professional and helped coordinate the whole process. I knew they would get the job done with no surprises and that's exactly what they did.

I had movers come in a couple of weeks earlier, who left the standards scuffs on the walls, etc, but these guys were extremely cautious of things like that. Another thing to note is that they brought plastic mattress covers, blankets/padding, packing tape, etc. to ensure my belongings were secure and would stay in tact while being transported. We recently had a family member pass away out of state and found that closing out there house was a much bigger job than we could have imagined. After 3 weeks of packing it came down to moving the boxes and one very large 380 pound jukebox and a grandfather clock down a flight of stairs and into storage. There was no way the 3 of us could do, so I contacted College Hunks and arranged for them to meet us the morning we flew back in for a 2 day trip to deal with the estate. Jasen D. (Seattle) was on time, and one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure to meet. He was informative, up front and open about the difficulty of moving some items and why they would need extra care. The transparency was refreshing, so many times today costs or possible costs are hidden until the customer it “hooked”, Jasen D. did not do that to us and we are thankful for that. He made suggestions on how to better facilitate the move and made packing suggestions. Not once did Jasen D. try to up sell us or make expensive packing suggestions. The only suggestion he made that we did not even think of was the packing blankets for the clock and the jukebox. Even then he said we could just use quilts and blankets from the house rather than buy them for College Hunks, because we had already packed them we used several of theirs. The initial quote was for 1450.00, by the time the crew of 4 came on moving day we had packed 30 more boxes, doubling our packed box estimate, we had to change the storage facilities location because we now needed a bigger one, and we still came in well under the initial quote for a final bill of 1,060.00. With all the costs of this relocation and storage, that 390.00 in savings was much needed. In the Summer we will move everything back out of storage into a moving truck and shipping it out of Washington to Nevada, we will be contacting College Hunks to help with that as well. Great folks to work with!
