All My Sons was easy to book with, they called the day prior to confirm my appointment, and made sure I had all the details for my move! Cost was as the same as I was quoted. Devin and Caleb moved me to my new home and they were amazing. Very professional and personable. They were careful with my items, willing to help with any boxes/furniture. I was very impressed with their work!! Would absolutely recommend this company.

We hired All My Sons to move our belongings into a brand new house. Dominic Skipper, the team lead, was efficient and kept the team focused and on track. He constantly arranged boxes and other items to make it easier and more efficient for the team members to move them. He also did a good job of getting the truck packed and making the best use of the space. He worked the team for eight hours straight, without lunch, so that we would not have to pay overtime, which we appreciated. (We felt bad for them not getting lunch, so we bought pizza for them to snack on.) The team members did a good job of wrapping everything in plastic, using moving pads, and getting things to the truck. That said, however, the team members, although cheerful and hardworking, weren't as careful or attentive as they could have been. We had a large storage shed that they were supposed to empty, except for a few items that we had indicated. They left a number of items behind, including a television set. The majority of our boxes were clearly marked as to which rooms to take them to in the new house, and the team members were shown which rooms were which before they started unloading. Despite that, team members often asked us which room to take boxes to, when it was clearly marked on the boxes. During and after the move, we found boxes around the house that were in the wrong rooms. We had a lot of boxes of books, which were somewhat heavy, that were supposed to go upstairs. Judging by how many boxes of books that we found downstairs, someone obviously did not want to carry them upstairs. We didn't want to carry them either, which is why we hired movers who were supposed to be professionals to carry them. That's their job. I tried to get the team members to be careful about sliding furniture across our new luxury vinyl floor, but they still managed to leave some scratches and scuff marks. They also left black smudges on the white walls and the handrail of the staircase, and they scratched the front door jam while bringing in furniture. All in all, I would give team lead Dominic 4.5 stars and the team members 2.5. When we spend $3500 for professionals to do a job, we expect better, in spite of human imperfection.

Jose, Eddie and Devins Crew were amazing. We had a really challenging move with two full truckloads. We needed to move everything to our storage unit and they made sure all of our things were packed well so they’d be protected. They went over and above to be sure everything was carefully stored. We ran into a few challenges throughout the day that were beyond their control and the office manager stayed in touch with me to be sure everything went smoothly and that I was kept informed. The guys worked so hard and were cheerful and respectful.

Jose Mejia and his crew were amazing! They called ahead to give us an arrival time. They worked hard and efficiently. They were very pleasant, polite, and professional. They communicated well with us on what needed to be done and where things needed to be placed. They handled everything with care and protected all the furniture for the move. They were careful as the removed furniture from the old house and placed it in the new house. They took a lot of the stress out of moving. They took very good care of us. I highly recommend them!

Devin Tillack and the rest of the moving crew was great! They were very professional and courteous, did a great job and completed it very fast. However, the dispatch switched up the crew from a 2 men to a 3 men crew the morning of the move due to their scheduling logistics, which resulted a higher hourly rate. The person tried hard to convince me that the cost would be around the same and didn't leave me much choice. For my move I didn't think it was necessary for 3 people to complete and would've appreciated an advance notice.

Juan, John and Julian did a great job. Quick, efficient, and very professional. I know having movers might seem like an additional cost but they did more than 10 people could have in the same time ! Literally moved a year ago and it was an all day affair. We were loaded, moved and unloaded by 230pm. Well worth the money.

The movers worked hard and got the move done a lot faster than expected. I especially was impressed with three of the movers, Jose Mejia, Eduardo, and Acassia. Great job guys!

They were so helpful and kind and did the absolute most to make sure everything was secure, safe, put where I wanted and even offered to stay and help arrange things for me. It wasn’t all good and it wasn’t all bad. There is a disconnect between the estimator and the actual loaders, but Sandra and Doug made things right. If you are going to book All my sons make sure to request one of them. They are the hardest working individuals I think I’ve ever come across. They were efficient, conscientious, took really good care of our belongings, and Sandra helped to negotiate with the office to smooth out pricing to make up for the misunderstanding with the estimator. We will be rebooking them for the next move.

I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed with All My Sons that I had to write a review. We used another moving company for the first part of the move and it was fine. However, James Taylor and his moving partner got just as much done in half the time. They were so helpful and even cleared the snow and shoveled my back walk to reach our BBQ grill the other company refused to move. I can’t say enough good things. They worked hard. Took care of everything and we would definitely recommend them to everyone!

If there was a way to choose your team, I would definitely recommend this! I have to be honest, because of all of the reviews I had seen online I was a bit worried but I decided to move forward after speaking to a manager a few days before the move. Chris, Devon, and Andrew was the crew that showed up to help us with our move. Chris was the point of contact day of the move, he was professional and efficient. They showed up a little earlier than anticipated, got right to work, and delivered in a timely manner! Give these guys a raise, they are top notch employees that know what they are doing. Loved our experience moving. Jose and his crew were respectful and detail oriented. I had a freezer full of milk for my baby and they made sure that it was the last thing loaded on the truck and the first thing unloaded at the new house so nothing went bad. I've used All My Sons Moving a couple times in Arizona and after finding out I was relocating to Utah, I called them first to see if they did out of state moving as well! They have an office out in Salt Lake too and were absolutely amazing as usual! I used their labor option and hired a few guys to help at my time of arrival! Shout out to Chris, Devon and Spencer who helped get all my belongings up three flights of stairs! All three were very professional and with the quickness! Thanks again! 🙂

I was supposed to be scheduled for one of the first moves of the day, between 8 and 9 in the morning. I received a call at 8:50 saying that the scheduled driver had a fever and that it would be at an unknown time for my move to happen. I was told that I would get a call a half hour before they arrived at my location. However, I had a neighbor tell me that the truck was there with no one calling. During the move, my dresser got damaged on the bottom and I had to reorganize that room to conceal the damage. The price was also hundreds of dollars more than expected. The driver was efficient and quite strong, which helped with the speed once they got started. Now for the two most important questions of the review. Would I use this service again? Not likely. Would I recommend this service to a friend? No

Devin Tillack was great and friendly to work with. Con: I had asked to pack the truck with as much as they could fit and whatever was left I would transport. They did their job too well and the truck was 3000lbs over weight causing issues and a surprise $3500 the day of the move. Pro: People were great and didn’t ruin the new home.

The estimator said they would be using disposable pads to ensure no damage on the furniture since many items were going into storage. These were not used, a few blankets were on items of extreme value. That would be my only criticism. I would use the company again and recommend James.

The final cost was a little more than I anticipated because I had to use some of their packing supplies and that added up fast so I would recommend using your own supplies if possible to save some money. Wow. moving is such a pain...in case you have forgotten. Upon contacting All My Sons, I was able to obtain an estimate right away. Jason and I did a walk through of my house using Duo on my phone so I knew costs for the move. A couple of days before the move I called to make sure everything was still on track - it was. They also called to confirm the details a few days later. On the day of the move the team arrived on time lead by Dominic Alvarado. The truck was loaded and started out the next day to our new home. During the trip, I called Colin to see where my things were and he was more than happy to check on the GPS to allay any of my fears. Later in the day a call came to let me know they had a radiator hose break and had spent a couple of hours getting it fixed. That meant the truck would make it into town but couldn't be unloaded due to DOT working restrictions. I was ensured they would be there the next morning right away to unload. They were again prompt, unloading the truck in a few hours. They then helped put the bed together - so nice to have our bed to sleep in! We had them put the items in the appropriate room or the garage as the house will be painted before we do much else. Everyone was helpful, considerate, and kind - not a small thing during a stressful relocation!

Tomas, John and Xander were personable, friendly and courteous. They took great care of our things and asked questions and listened to what we instructed for what went where. They were amazing at solving any problems involving large or heavy furniture in tight spaces. They protected everything with plastic wrap and blankets. It was an amazing experience for what could have been a very stressful day. I would use the company and this team again in a heartbeat.

We had a complicated move with stuff going a lot of different directions and this company was so flexible and easy to work with. The movers came on time and ready to work. Over the two days of our move they worked hard and were done sooner than I had anticipated. Hiring movers and trucks isn't the cheapest option, but one of those things that you get what you pay for. I'm planning to call them again when I need to unload my pods.

All My Sons is a great moving company...reliable, easy to get in touch with, affordable (as much as anything is these days), and super easy. However, there is so much more to them than that. My experience with this company was not only easy and efficient, but it was actually fun. Mars, Xander, and David were not just extraordinary movers, but I legitimately enjoyed spending time with them. They were fun, easy going, sweet, and courteous. They clearly had my best interests at heart, but also didn't take themselves too seriously and were able to chat and joke with me as they worked. This is my second experience with this company, and I plan to use them any time I have to move in Salt Lake. Also, they move pianos, which many people don't! Five stars really isn't enough. They helped my wife and I move our 2-bedroom apartment, and they were AMAZING! James Taylor was the leader of a crew of 3 guys, and they all did a fantastic job. The whole move (wrapping furniture, loading the truck, and unloading at the new apartment) only took 3 hours! It saved us so much hassle. It was a little expensive, but definitely worth the price. I would give our experience with All My Sons moving 4 stars. The only negative was that no one called us to mention that the team would be arriving later than we expected. After I called to see what was happening, the communication improved and they let us know when they were on the way. The movers themselves were great. Christopher and his team did a thorough job, very quick and they were very funny and upbeat. Moving is very stressful and it turned out to be a very painless experience.

The nicest people to work with. I was nervous that they would flake on my as other "helper" companies have recently but they were efficient, easy to work with, honest and professional. I have a smaller household but a lot of heavy furniture and they moved everything I asked them too. I also moved to a place with narrow hallways and steep narrow stairways. It was a challenge for them for sure but they were great. Be sure to ask about things they cant move (combustibles etc, and have a list ready for an accurate quote. Just for reference I had 4 bedrooms, kitchen, patio, office, and two family rooms. So lots of furniture, cradenzas, beds, desks and they did it at for about $2K. I will absolutely would hire them again. Only tiny issue was they didnt put all the beds back together. Highly recommended All My Sons Moving. They were great!

And let me tell you...the guys that helped me on the last leg of my move at All My Sons Moving & Storage were absolutely PHENOMENAL. [Some background context: my belongings were shipped cross country in a PODS storage container to Salt Lake City which was weeks delayed in arriving to SLC several times over for a myriad of reasons beyond my control. This had been putting a lot of pressure on me as I was starting a new job and none of my stuff was here three weeks in! When my stuff finally arrived past the intitial moving day we had planned, All My Sons couldn't have been more amiable to reschedule when I only was able to give them one hour notice due to lack of communication from PODS about my container never arriving as planned.] On the final moving day—Mikey, Devon, and Preston met me right on time (actually they arrived a bit before I did, haha) and moved my stuff into their truck in under an hour in the bitter cold without complaint. In fact, all three were super amazing in their own way. Each had incredible work ethic while also making the move fun and enjoyable which I have to say, as someone who has moved three times in one year, that is very rare. 100 percent professional while still having a personality, not some mindless robots. Real people! They were eager to help me in anyway they could (throwing stuff away, setting down mats so I didnt have to clean up the floors after, etc.), and they made me, as well as my stuff, feel super safe and looked out for. I hope All My Sons is taking care of these three because these guys are the A-Team and worked really well together in a time-efficient manner no less! Also, the company's customer care service providers were consistently responsive and really wonderful. I honestly thought this part of my move mid January in Utah would be the worst part about this venture with weather and interfering with my work schedule, but it turned out to be the easiest, fastest, and most pleasant. And that was definitely because of All My Sons. Thank you!

First I will say the two Helpers that did my moving in, Eduardo (Eddie) and "Tokyo" (spelling?) were very hard workers. They kept going til the job was done. They were professional and took care with my furniture and belongings. They should work for a better company. I contracted for 3 helpers because I was moving into a third-story apartment but it does have an elevator. I knew the move would require more than 2 Helpers and didn't want to incur a lot of overtime. They arrived 30-minutes late requiring me to call to see if they were coming. However, only 2 guys showed up because the third guy didn't show up for work. I had the 3-guys for the price if two. I had a 26-foot van to unload. Eddie alone brought up the boxes on a dolly, then the apt complex let him use a large "trolly" like hotels have for luggage. Towards the end they both brought the furniture. I've never heard of the next thing before but all of my furniture and boxes were being brought into the lobby of my building to wait for Eddie to load. This is a senior apartment complex. My belongings were on display for all to see and movement through the lobby was restricted for the elderly residents. The final surprise was the bill. I estimated my final bill for 3-for-2 guys with some overtime would be $400-$500 for roughly 4 hours. It took them over 4-1/2 hours and my final bill was $1,055 and some change. If I had 3 Helpers like I planned, it would have taken less time resulting in less money to be paid. It was the fault of this company why my bill was so high. What if they only had one guy to send - apparently there are no backup Helpers available. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2 was due to the excellent and careful workers.

Our experience started out positive. I was quoted over the phone $129 per hour along with all their great amenities. I told the person what I had, which was very small he told me it sounded like a 2 person job at $129 per hour. The crew was great! They had good customer service and did their job very efficiently . Make sure you get your quote in writing, email or something so you have something to fall back on. When we finally pinned down our moving date they arranged for 3 guys to come out and then I heard prices everywhere from $209 per hour to $159 per hour. I was not pleased with the run around I got with that. Our move was set for a Monday. No one called me by Friday afternoon like they said they would. That is where the fiasco started. He told me he was sending 3 movers, I called back to tell him 2 movers and he still sent 3 movers. Get it in writing!

Eric Brown is a great crew lead. We did all the packing for our move three hours away and they were on time as they came to load up the truck. He and Michael were very friendly and professional, and careful with the specialty items we have. They kept a great attitude even though it was 90 degrees as they were loading the truck and then unloading it the next day into our storage unit. Eric texted at every point of the two-day job so we would always know the when and where of things. The pricing for the job was very reasonable and we would happily work with Eric and Michael and All My Sons again.

Overall, I’m pleased with the experience I had with All My Sons. Sandra and her helper were extremely efficient and have a very strong work ethic. I believe I saw Sandra pick up and carry a fairly large and really heavy bookshelf over her shoulder with one arm. They were great with my 17 month old daughter who tried to help when she could (mostly to pick up small pieces of trash on the ground and put them in her mouth). They were very complimentary about my daughter and the new house, which I appreciated. They also seemed interested in my life by asking me questions and making good conversation. They were even great sports about our cat, to which I believe they were both allergic. I do give 4 stars however, because if just a couple of things. First, I felt there were a few times I was made to feel cheap or poor because I have a lot of IKEA furniture instead of nicer solid furniture. I would obviously prefer to be able to afford much nicer furniture, but it’s not always in the budget and didn’t need to feel like my furniture was of bad quality. Also, when we were finished, my girlfriend, my mother, and I were all pressured into writing a review on google reviews because we were told that for each review they get, they also get a $10 bonus. I’m happy to write a detailed, positive review, and for my mom and girlfriend to do the same, and I’m also glad to contribute to a $30 bonus, but I didn’t like being pressured into doing it while they waited. I work in the customer service industry, and we aren’t even advised to advertise our customer experience surveys, so as not to unfairly influence the feedback that we get. Part of the reason we went with All My Sons as opposed to other competitors is due to the abundance of positive reviews. I now understand why that is the case, which is a bit of a disappointment and left just a bit of a bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise exceptional move. Overall, as stated above, I was happy with my experience with All My Sons and would use them again in the future. Thanks!

I didn’t compare any companies prior to choosing All My Sons, however my wife and I are mostly happy with our experience. Eduardo Garcia and Aiden did a fantastic job and were very friendly. All around 5 stars for them. I’d give the billing 2 or 3 stars though. The fees are nonspecific and I’d be willing to bet money that people are almost always surprised, as I was, with the total cost. I was expecting $600-$800, but am being charged over $1,200. Seems overpriced and I’ll not be using them in the future, I did learn my lesson though and in the future will nail down an expected price.

My only hiccup with the company is they were supposed to come on the 28th and they called me last minute we to cancel. They were able to accommodate me 2 days later which I was ok with. If I would have been under a more tight time frame this would have been a more bothersome inconvenience. Thank you for making it right and thank your movers for doing a great job.

This was my first experience with all my sons moving and it was mixed. Jose and his team of movers were amazing and did an excellent job. They quickly and efficiently got my storage unit emptied out and moved into my new home in a few hours. The major draw back for me was the quoting process. I was originally quoted 14% fuel charge which isn’t in fact based on the travel time but on the labor total. I was originally told the job would take an hour and a half. I was surprised (in a bad way) when I saw my total was going to be almost double then what I was originally quoted. They did credit me for an hour of labor because they finished sooner then expected but overall I feel this was much much more expensive then what it should have been.

The only thing I’d say is to get a quote and have them include the packaging materials cost because they didn’t include it in the quote. They did arrive a little late but that’s kind of expected with moving as other appointments can go over. So workers were great, management we got the feeling will try to milk you without saying costs upfront so just be aware and get a quote for time per hour, packing materials, fuel and travel.

Jose and his crew moved my house yesterday Jan 2, 2021. They treated my furniture like it was their own and overall I am very happy with all the hard work that they did. Jason the visual estimator came out to my old house and gave me a quote to move my house. I payed the whole fee before the move so I had no issues with sticker shock. Yes there were a few items and walls that got scratched, dinged and broken but if I had friends or church men helping I’m sure there would have been more and friends and church people don’t carry insurance to fix the scratches, dings and things that broke. With my health issues I was only able to sit back and be the traffic director. Jose and his crew were amazing to take instructions and did not complain when I asked them to move an item to the basement or upstairs that was left on the main floor. We were expecting 6 men and 2 trucks but only 1 truck and 4 men showed up due to sick calls so Jose and his crew had to work extra hard. Benny and Cody literally worked so hard. They weren’t aware they’d be moving a piano up a huge flight of stairs and they hefted it up with no complaints. They took good care of our stuff and never expected us to help. They worked quickly and within the time frame they predicted. My only complaint is that the price ended up being a lot more than I’d anticipated and $600 for a very small move felt like a lot. I didn’t know I’d be paying for fuel, driving time, and packing materials. Be aware there are a lot of hidden fees. However I was very pleased with the service! :)

They had a shortage of workers the day of my move, but let me tell you, Matt and Alike killed it. They worked 13 hours straight. So motivated to finish it. You should have seen Matt single handedly carrying a washer machine up the stairs. My only concern was that the cost quoted to me was substantially different than the cost I was charged at the end. I think my original scheduler was at a call center and guessed wrong. Matt especially took serious ownership of my move.

This review is for Garrison and Daylon. They were my movers for Sunday, September 23, 2018. I was impressed with their work ethic and expertise. They seemed highly experienced, and knew what they were doing, even solving a big problem with our extremely heavy couch that they were able to maneuver out an oddly placed front door at the old place, and down a narrow and steep flight of steps in the new place. They were respectful of all my property, and worked efficiently. That is to say, they were quick, but not hasty and did a wonderful job. I would recommend your company to anyone, based on these two young men and their hard work.

We are moving from SLC to S Jordan. We had a great team of workers. 5 of them worked all day with great attitudes and quick pace. We live on a hill so every load required going up and down at least 2-3 flights of stairs. So hard! Jose, Richard, Riley, Sonya and Chris were all amazing. We still have another day to go so we hope it goes as well. I noticed a lot of people have commented that there are a lot of unexpected fees. After tomorrow I will be better able to comment on that. We have been working with a manager via phone and in person and we hope our original estimate comes in spot on. Regardless our team were great.

Mike and his crew - hired them to unload after a move into Utah. Friendly guys, worked very quickly which we appreciated (called at 8:50 to say they were here and left at 10:00 - unloaded a 16ft truck). However they were not super friendly to our stuff - dropped boxes, hit walls, etc. Price was decent for an unload - $129/hour. But there are some weird fees or charges - a fuel and travel charge with a minimum (they brought a moving truck even though they weren't actually moving our stuff). They said that we would be refunded for whatever time they actually didn't use that they overbilled when they ran our card, I guess we'll see. I'm also not very happy that, in the midst of the peak of pandemic, neither even showed up with masks. My household wore masks while they were unloading. We were told when we hired them that they would be following "CDC guidelines." They just were not. They also asked for a review for some contest, which I said we would, but then asked us to do it while they were still standing there, which was uncomfortable. So here's my review.
