Just make sure you always check the truck out. The "before" pics shown during mobile checkout were at least a year old (snow on the ground) and didn't show a giant cracked plastic guard on the undercarriage. Then, when I opened the back lift gate, there was no utility dolly inside. Went in, asked for the dolly on my reservation sheet, and they came back with a furniture dolly (not on my reservation, meaning they guessed instead of reading it). Had to go back and get the right one... just a needless waste of 20 minutes when I was on a tight timeline. Truck itself was fine. This isn't the first time I've had minor problems at this location. So yeah. Check your truck out before leaving.

Recorded, Clean, LIGHTED HALLS! If you’re a veteran like me, I look for only the best, most accommodating & kind service that’s worth every penny. U-Haul Moving & Storage of Pawtucket has a well-thought-of MOTION-SENSORED security in safeguarding and monitoring you and your storage locker. Nothing is perfect, but with these times, I’d rather settle with a place, that's well cared for-- like mopping the concrete floors and highly lit, quality spaces. And these are good people. Please consider supporting them when deciding on a place.

It was crazy at first because the link wouldn't work on my phone to take pictures of the truck then I couldn't use cash for the deposit so I had to use my credit card which they said they will issue the money back once I bring the truck back so I hope they credit my card back like they said. Other than that my experience with Rob M was good very nice guy. I recommend this place.

Yesterday I had a hitch installed on my car and I was very happy with the work and customer service that I received. I initially called because I had some questions about the service and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I then placed the order online and the technician called me to verify a couple of things. He said they didn't have the hitch that I needed at this location, so he found a store that had it and picked it up so that it would be ready for my appointment the next day. I interacted with three different associates at this store and they were all professional and pleasant to do work with. I am very happy with the work they did on my car. I highly recommend going to this location.

Reviewing the Hitch Installation Services only: I recently had two cars brought to this location to get hitches and wiring installed. The parts had to be ordered based on the model of the car, and took under 1 week to arrive. One in stock, i was able to bring the car in and receive it the SAME day, in under 4 hours. Service was by Kalil Israel. He was excellent. Super helpful, friendly, and did the work in a timely manner. There was an appointment before me, but because i brought my vehicle to the shop when they opened (7AM), i was able to get seen earlier. The cost varied between vehicles, as the part specifically was more expensive for my Mazda (total of $350) than it was for my Honda (total of $220). FYI the hitch install does NOT come with the actual hitch ball/lock, you have to purchase separatly. The hitch has a lifetime warranty and the wiring has a 2 year warranty. Would definitely recommend going here and to include the wiring.

It was cold but I certainly can't hold it against them. U-Haul has some strange rules regarding cargo vans and pickup trucks. It seems that they are much more afraid of people stealing them since they are normal vehicles. Because of that they had me provide a reference that they had to call Early in the morning and I'm still not sure of the reason. Just be aware of that if you rent a cargo van or a pickup truck you will have to do that so have somebody prepared to answer the phone. Because if they don't answer the phone and you can't get somebody else to answer the phone, you'll be leaving without your reservation. But overall the process was easy and the guys that were working there or a very laid-back and had great personalities.

The Return the rental website was not working and they charged me 30 $ more even though my boyfriend returned it the same day at 9 pm and left the key on the box. Never using uhaul again. I'll use a different company instead.

SOME of the staff are pleasant. I won’t get into detail considering I’ve used this location for every need in the past 7 years, great stock for vehicles and all types of trailers/tow behinds. Check them out!

I had a great experience with the UHAUL in Pawtucket Newell st! A nice gentleman Will Da Cruz provided excellent service and was incredibly helpful getting a storage unit perfect for my needed. Very informative and polite. I highly recommend this location for anyone needing storage or for renting a moving vehicle!!

I've used this U-Haul facility for multiple moves over the years. The storage is safe and the facility is secure. I always have a great experiences with the rentals including a 10' truck and one of the pickup trucks. Customer service is great too! I don't go anywhere else for storage or moving equipment!

They're not bad over there. Customer service is good. They only thing I wished they would do is rent the 10 foot trucks for longer than just 4 hours, at least 2 days. I have dresser draws that can not fit in the van. Have to go a second trip because we have to lay them down in the van. That's not so convenient. Having a 10 footer, I could do my move in less days, and pay less money. But then, maybe that's the point.😶😇 If I do have another move in my future, I'll probably go somewhere else to get the bigger truck.

Easily the largest, best stocked, and most professionally staffed U-HAUL in Rhode Island. Even with a line to the door at 9 am on the first of the month, the wait was only 10 minutes and the customer behind me got a truck without having had to reserve one (but you should probably still reserve one).
